That means 'I would like a starter.' Luna: Je voudrais une entrée. Je voudrais une entrée. Lucas: Perfect! Je voudrais is super useful — 'I would like.' Une entrée is the starter. Say it once more? Luna: Je voudrais une entrée. I love how it sounds. Lucas: Now for the main course: Je voudrais un plat principal. 'I would like a main course.' Luna: Je voudrais un plat principal. Luna: Un café, s'il vous plaît. Simple. I love coffee. Lucas: Let's put it all together. Imagine you're at a restaurant. You say to the waiter: Je voudrais une entrée, un plat principal, et un dessert. Luna: Je voudrais une entrée, un plat principal, et un dessert. That's a full order!
