- 0:00A new study published in a Pediatric's Journal found that between twenty thirteen and twenty
- 0:05twenty one, there were over twenty thousand ceiling fan related injuries to young children.
- 0:11What so, you know when you got a young baby and you're trying
- 0:14to be fun and you're throwing that baby up in there. Oh yeah,
- 0:19my husband does this with the kids all the time. I don't have enough
- 0:21arm strength for him. Okay, that's unfortunate, A right. Apparently these
- 0:26injuries are running rampant where a person will throw the baby up in the air
- 0:30and right into the ceiling fan. So they've had six. Is even more
- 0:35concerning than you initially said, because this isn't the kid's fault. This is
- 0:39just not having common sense. Why would you throw your kid towards us moving
- 0:43ceiling? Well, those ceiling fans manned it. They come out of nowhere.
- 0:46Now. Sixty percent of the injuries from the ceiling fans are only laceration,
- 0:49so you're talking about a cut on the head, okay, But some
- 0:52less common but more severe injuries included concussions, skull fractures, and even in
- 0:58rare cases, complete decapitatious shut As far as I know, there's not been
- 1:06a decapitation on record, thank god. But you just gotta be careful.
- 1:08And there's so many things around the house that I don't know about you,
- 1:11but I get like nervous around, like what first, stairs are my thing.
- 1:15It's the staircase for me. We had an incident last summer. Sydney
- 1:19had fell down our deck stairs and thankfully she only had a little stitch,
- 1:23two stitches, but I thought she was done. Like it was the scariest
- 1:27ever. My mom dropped me down the stairs when I was a kid.
- 1:30She was trying to care me. She fell, and you know, in
- 1:34turn, I fell, broke my little boot My little foot had a little
- 1:37booty cast. We haven't had to deal with any broken bones yet. But
- 1:41speaking of the ceiling fan, my kids are enamored by it right now.
- 1:44So whenever I'm doing laundry, they pick her up the clothes and they throw
- 1:48them up and as I whip around, see where they're going to end up.
- 1:52And that's always fun for him. But stairs are kind of my Is
- 1:55there anything else you're irrationally afraid of? Like tanning beds? What was the
- 1:59movie somebody died in a tanning Were they lock him in. Is that not
- 2:02scary movie? Final Destination? Final Destination. I mean there's so many things
- 2:07from that movie that now I'm like terrified of. We all know, like
- 2:10the truck pulling a bunch of logs on it. See, I have a
- 2:15And it's probably just because it's we're at the lake all the time. I
- 2:17have a reoccurring dream that my kids are falling off the boat, even in
- 2:22life jackets, and they're getting random. Oh I can't, I can't even
- 2:24talk about it. But that is something that goes through my head on a
- 2:28regular basis. It's so weird I panic thinking about it. Yeah, I
- 2:31hear one of those stories. I mean it happens every summer, something like
- 2:36something like that. You gotta be so careful. But man, vending vending
- 2:39machines. You hear people dying from those. You don't even there's like multiple
- 2:43vending machine deaths a year. I'm not kidding. Always people try to knock
- 2:49them over or try to get what, you know, your snicker margets stuck,
- 2:53so you're doing anything to get it out of there because God forbid you
- 2:55a wayte a dollar and the vending machine collapse so over on top of a
- 3:00person. Kills him. I'm not kidding. Looking up, there's a lot
- 3:04of I O us on ours for a reason. They're scared. They're like,
- 3:07oh, I'm not going after that. Remember Greg who used to work
- 3:10in engineering. Haven't seen him lately? Yeah? Yeah, like in a
- 3:15minute in the morning, big nutty eight point seven. We need your ideas
- 3:17for romantic date ideas within a forty five minute radius. That's a good idea,
- 3:23Bargo more because Amandy here, who's married head our anniversary last week?
- 3:28How many years are we talking? Five years married, six years together?
- 3:30And my husband's forty third birthday is next Wednesday. So I want to take
- 3:35a day off work, both of us and do a date day. We
- 3:38have two little kids. You want to do the day without the kids of
- 3:40course? Right, Yes, I wanted to be romantic. Yeah, we
- 3:44need that little us time. Summertime has been tough on us, just because
- 3:47we're at the lake and it's always with the kids. Every vacation I've been
- 3:51taking, the kids are in tow love the kids, but it's time for
- 3:53a little mommy and daddy time. So we need ideas because you want to
- 3:58use something a little different. You know, you've lived here for quite a
- 4:00But of course there's things you haven't done yet, so we need your ideas
- 4:01at seven one two eight seven. You can call us, you can text
- 4:05us, you can write on Facebook. But you found a list of actually
- 4:08some really good ideas. Yeah, I put into Google. It's amazing what
- 4:13this Google machine does. Data ideas and Fargo and here are the romantic ideas.
- 4:17It gave thirty of them, one of them. And we also put
- 4:20this on Facebook. Number one thing people are saying play games and have drinks
- 4:24together at Pixel Brewing Company. We have yet to go there, I mean
- 4:26neither and check that out. I love a little old game kind of theme,
- 4:30you know. Yeah, we Mario go to the Fargo theater see an
- 4:32amazing movie. Haven't been a movie in a long time. Well, there's
- 4:36a couple of big ones I heard recently. Can you imagine if I took
- 4:40the day off and told my husband we're going to see Barbie? Yes,
- 4:44that would be glorious, kind of funny. Actually, anyway, another one
- 4:49escape room. We've only been married five years. I don't feel like that's
- 4:54gonna end. I feel like you're not an escape room person. We don't
- 4:59have the page for that. Neither of us do. Maybe maybe that's good.
- 5:02Maybe that's a good solid thing we should people do it for like team
- 5:05building. You know, offices go over there all the time. Yeah,
- 5:09we're not big bowlers, but that could be something fun. Bowling made the
- 5:12list. A lot of good alleys in town, nice little breakfast dates where
- 5:15it is on here the shack, Oh, the shack roadway way up north.
- 5:18Yeah, kind of smells up there. Something not the shack, but
- 5:21just that part of town. This one got me really good treatment or something.
- 5:26Number eight on the list of the thirty best things to do in Fargo.
- 5:29Just go to some pretty spots and take pictures. Brilliant. You've met
- 5:35my husband, he hates pictures. It would just be great. Like if
- 5:39I, hey, we're going on a fun photo shoot today, where's the
- 5:42most scenic spn town? I love going down to Dike East or is it
- 5:46Dike West? I think it's Dike West. We did our engagement pictures there,
- 5:49and it's really funny because our engagement photos were all very much like that.
- 5:54We could re enact them because we also did one in front of the
- 5:57Fargo Sign. We did one in Robert Stuff. Yeah, Bubert's Alley as
- 6:00we were walking classic. I think my band has done all those same locations.
- 6:04I know, but no, it's Dyke East. It's Dyke. It's
- 6:06on the east side of the dyck where the river the rocks are. I
- 6:10don't know. I know there was like a little dock and we sat at
- 6:13the end of the dock. Oh, I know, so cute. Seven
- 6:15two ninety eight seven. Give me some ideas. I'm just looking for something
- 6:19fun. Sarah just timed in and she said, each of you should plan
- 6:25half the day. Oh I like that. I do love that idea.
- 6:28What do you what do you think Knicks would be? Well, I have
- 6:30to give him the morning. I don't know. Do bars open that early?
- 6:34Oh gosh, Lindsay and chiming, and she says, go to a
- 6:39thrift store, pick out each other one outfit, and then they have to
- 6:44wear that outfit. You guys downtown him out, isn't that great? And
- 6:47then go to the sky Prayer or rooftop bar. I haven't been there yet
- 6:50either, Oh yeah, sure, Downtown. Any other goodies on Facebook?
- 6:54Well, there's this dude named Pike who said we should rent out the Dilworth
- 6:58Community Center. Well, what do you think you want? To join and
- 7:03do a little double date at the Dillworth Community Center. Oh no, this
- 7:08is all you A lot of good restaurant options on here, some Lakes area
- 7:13stuff. Once it go to Brainard, I guess they have zip lining.
- 7:15There's a cool place to go and do that. Cool. You don't want
- 7:17to drive to Brainard though, No, I would. I would like to
- 7:20keep it within reason because in case we can't find a center and this would
- 7:24be well, the kids are at daycare all day and having just driven back
- 7:27from like the Manauga area, driving there is fine because you're excited, but
- 7:31man driving back, it's just terrible, just terrible. I don't know.
- 7:34I'm just have you guys done any what'd you guys end up doing for your
- 7:38anniversary last week? Oh? We went downtown to Morehead, a lovely little
- 7:41restaurant. They're called Rustica. First time there. I mean the happy hours
- 7:43excellent. I mean it was really their gyms. And you know, I
- 7:46know you're a way out in what dan is your You have a Horace address?
- 7:49Right? Oh it's West Fargo, but yeah, pretty much out there
- 7:53and what we like to call now construction zone. I can't get in or
- 7:56out of my house as we speak now, it's well, it's well worth
- 7:59the drifted down out morehead is booming. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
- 8:01And maybe that's I really liked Lindsay's idea of doing something funny, going to
- 8:05pick out an alport or go do something like that. But even just a
- 8:09date day going to different restaurants, because there's so many places, I'm like,
- 8:11oh, we should try it. Maybe just gonna bebop around beebop,
- 8:16just whatever you do, be romantic about it and be safe. Okay,
- 8:20well we'll always be safe of course. Of course, minute in the morning,
- 8:28Taylor Swift fans getting a little sensitive online. I don't know if you
- 8:31saw this yesterday, but there's a big uproar about this Taylor Swift impersonator who
- 8:35allegedly went too far. Really, okay, is she a good impersonator or
- 8:39is it okay? That looks nothing like her? Well, my immediate thought
- 8:43was, okay, this is you know, yeah, discount Taylor Swift.
- 8:48You know, looks like Coco Ruse version of the vocal pucks if I were
- 8:52to compare it to a Cereal all right, So a little stale poster going
- 8:56on here, all right? Her name is Ashley and she does have like
- 8:58over a million TikTok fallow or so intergraci or big Swifty Are you are you
- 9:01aware of this person? Yes? Ttok okay. And if you saw her,
- 9:05would you get excited? Not because you think she's Taylor Swift up because
- 9:07she's the next best thing. I guess. No, she doesn't look at
- 9:11anything. I mean, like Pike said, it's not yeah, it's I
- 9:15mean, you can dress yourself up and you know, big sunglasses and that's
- 9:18what she did. So yesterday the day so why or Swifty is so upset?
- 9:20She went viral because she dressed up and you know sort of like the
- 9:24if Taylor Swift were to go out in public, this is kind of what
- 9:26you would look like, big sunglasses, hat. And she went to Walt
- 9:31Disney World and started walking around had security guards like surrounding her. So you
- 9:35know, when you're at a place like that, you see like some some
- 9:37commotion, You're like, oh, what's going on? Oh, that must
- 9:39be a celebrity. And then you see Coco Rus you know, great value
- 9:45Taylor Swift, and you oh, that must be Taylor Swift. So fans
- 9:48started freaking out. We were just talking about the wedding she was at.
- 9:50You know, when she's around, people are gonna lose it without a doubt.
- 9:54And half the time you don't even recognize the celebrity, even if it
- 9:58is somebody like a Taylor Swift or anything like that, because there would be
- 10:03security guards around them. That's what brings you the attention exactly. So this
- 10:07woman is actually the imperson here had to come out and apologize, and apparently
- 10:09people were being pretty mean online. Here's what she said. But I do
- 10:13want to prepas just by just saying if you want the people in my comments
- 10:16like saying you don't deserve to live, or you should be sued and all
- 10:20the stuff like it doesn't bother me up here, like I'm mentally stable.
- 10:24Everyone knows what happened yesterday was prank to live a day in the life of
- 10:31a celebrity, to see what would happen if I went out looking like Taylor
- 10:35Swift. It's so good. Is there somebody who if you had to impersonate
- 10:39one celebrity, who do you think you could pull off? Did people give
- 10:43you like, oh, you look like this person? No, really,
- 10:45there's nobody, I don't think so I know yours, Derek Huff. Everybody
- 10:48always says no, no, it's identical. I actually had somebody over the
- 10:52weekend and they said, this is unbelievable, unbelievable how much you look like
- 10:56And I'm like, yes, we've heard this a million times. I'm one
- 11:00of those people. I get so many people saying, oh, I say
- 11:01somebody who looks this person looks just like you, And more often than not,
- 11:05it's like really offensive, you know, because when somebody says you look
- 11:07somebody you're expecting to see a really good looking person. That you see him,
- 11:09they're like, what that guy? What? Somebody texts me over the
- 11:13weekend they're will we run in your doppel gang? Or I'm like, oh,
- 11:16this will be good. Let me see this schmo And it was just
- 11:20so I mean, some Schmo. No offense to that guy. That's hilarious.
- 11:26See, And I always just think of you and Derek Cuff. For
- 11:28me, I always get people you remind me of somebody, and it's more
- 11:33of a personality situation than it has anything to do with looks. Yeah,
- 11:37you're kind of one of a kind. I can't really think of Oh my
- 11:39gosh, Pike. See that's just a compliment and insolve of a kind definitely
- 11:46meant a debat in the morning. You'll suspect to sing when you're that telephone
- 11:56fix friend. What's fucking another? Let's listen friend arrested by friends? All
- 12:07right, here we go. Time to try to frank call this woman.
- 12:09She's getting married. How exciting for her. You cannot mess with bride,
- 12:16especially when it's the groom to be that wants to mess with her. That's
- 12:20the case here. Apparently they're having some disagreements on the first dance song.
- 12:24Shouldn't it be like their song? I think I got a different idea.
- 12:26I bet you fact I wrote one of my own, So and see if
- 12:31we can get over Hello, Hey, good morning. Is this Melanie?
- 12:39This is her Melanie. Hi there, my name is DJ Pancake over at
- 12:45entertainment. How are you doing this morning? Oh? Good? How are
- 12:48you great? Well? First of all, I just wanted to discuss with
- 12:52you if you've had a chance to look over the song selections we sent you
- 12:56over as far as your first dance goes. Yeah, yeah, so all
- 13:00right, we're considering ed shearing, Uh perfect, Okay, Ed Shearing.
- 13:05Yeah. See now, obviously that's a classic it's a standard. However,
- 13:09we're having a little issue here with the licensing on some of her songs.
- 13:15Yeah. So you might have heard in the news there's that writer strike going
- 13:18on in Hollywood. I mean, that doesn't impact music right in a way.
- 13:22Yeah, Basically, we're not able to license that song at this moment.
- 13:28So what we're gonna have to do is offer you a couple different other
- 13:31options, if that's all right with you. I mean, you had you
- 13:33had the song on your list, but I mean, what are the other
- 13:37options? Okay, So here's what we've done, and this is a little
- 13:39DJ Pancake special where I basically have written, now this is really neat.
- 13:45I've written a personalized song that's specifically written for you and your husband, Brian.
- 13:50Okay, I mean, okay, go for it. Here it is.
- 13:54This one's just for you, Melanie and Brian. Here we go.
- 14:01Brine and Melanie are getting married home they'll be twogether until they're Harry Hame.
- 14:24Well, what do you think? You know, I really appreciate you know,
- 14:31you're taking the time to write this song, but I you know,
- 14:33I still think, like at darn, you know, perfect is really what
- 14:37I was hoping for. Well, it did take the better part of August
- 14:43to write. I mean, we didn't even get to the chorus. Can
- 14:45we at least canna get hear the chorus? The big chorus? Okay,
- 14:48chorus, Okay, Okay, here's the chorse. Listen, you're you're the
- 14:52course out and then let me know. Okay, And just like the sound
- 14:58of Claws, they are really merry, even though they've got old and they've
- 15:07gotten really harry. Uh. You know, I I don't want I really
- 15:20just don't love it. I'm so sorry, but like it's just not good.
- 15:24I don't know how else to say it, but it's just it's sorry.
- 15:28It's not good. You know you just heard DJ Pancake's feelings. Okay,
- 15:31Melanie, Okay, I'm really sorry about all this, but I think
- 15:35can I tell you one more thing before you hang up and you call a
- 15:37different DJ company? Can I tell you one thing? Okay, So your
- 15:43husband Brian, you know, the one from the song, Yeah, he
- 15:46actually told us you guys were kind of fighting about your first song selection.
- 15:50And so this isn't actually DJ Pancake. It's Pike and Amanda in the morning.
- 15:54I'm Big nine eight point seven. It's a prank phone call up.
- 15:58Are you kidding? I mean, I thought you would have lost DJ Pancake,
- 16:03but you never know. I was like getting so scared because I really
- 16:07want this song, and I was like actually thinking that the writers strike was
- 16:11gonna affect it. Oh myke, No, no, no, I think
- 16:15you're still good to go with the edge sheer and song. And no,
- 16:18I mean I didn't even say that's a great selection, very very emotional song,
- 16:22not as emotional as Melanie and Brian the original DJ Pancake. I mean,
- 16:27maybe we'll have to play this song at the wedding because I would be
- 16:32honored. Now, while it didn't take me the better part of the month,
- 16:34it did take me about, you know, six minutes to make this
- 16:37morning, so I would appreciate it. Maybe send it to us like in
- 16:45a minute in the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven, You're ready Ready,
- 16:49Let's see is type in hot today? No man that stills the sea,
- 16:56Let's see. Everydy Spears is reportedly planning in a record. Yeah,
- 17:03she's coming out with a new album, now a record, old record.
- 17:08Now. She has had what two songs she had the one with Elton John
- 17:11and then the one with will I Am. And now she is working on
- 17:15I guess there's an upcoming writers camp that's happening, and she's getting songs from
- 17:19some really big artists. For now, she's focused on her upcoming book,
- 17:22The Woman. She's not working on a record. Some other people are are
- 17:26working on it force some people are wanting to collabor with her. I think
- 17:30is maybe the best way to say this. I don't know if she's gonna
- 17:33put out her own album. I would think that that's the case, but
- 17:37I'm just saying, see, other people are currently writing the songs that she
- 17:40will eventually. Don't think walk in the studio and sing. Has she written
- 17:44her own song ever? No, she has, she wrote. I believe
- 17:47her songs are right, not sometimes every time. Oh yeah, it's and
- 17:52which is a beauty but apparent I think and my wife would know more on
- 17:55this, but I think she wrote that or co wrote it, at least
- 17:57got it. So she's not like totally totally inapt when it comes to songwriting,
- 18:02but just for the most part doesn't all right well, and that,
- 18:04to be fair, that goes for the majority of artists. I know a
- 18:07band who doesn't. I have writers low standards Amanda, we write our own
- 18:11stuff, all right. Well, when you guys get Britty Spears level,
- 18:15then we'll see it. Maybe her loneliness was killing Oh funny. I don't
- 18:18know you were banned from saying that too many times. I can't get away
- 18:23from it. Just got it. And I always thought that Giselle and Tom
- 18:29Brady were going to be the hottest couple ever. But now here's Arena Shake
- 18:33coming after him and talk about if you just look at a couple, they're
- 18:37gorgeous. Yeah, they're you know, according to the you know, typical
- 18:41beauty standards. Yeah, they're very they're very pretty. Us what do you
- 18:47want me to say? He's impressive man, and she's smoking hot, That's
- 18:51what I was saying. Anyway, she says he is her dream guy.
- 18:55They've been hanging out ever since they met at this wedding in Italy and June,
- 18:57and they were just spotted leaving a tell out of separate entrances in London.
- 19:02So I'm sure there was nothing going on, and they might have shared
- 19:03a room just to save money, but I'm sure they were sleeping on separate
- 19:06beds, you know, I mean, obviously they wouldn't be in the same
- 19:10room. You know they say about the old double queen room, one bed,
- 19:15one beds for your luggage and the other beds. Well whatever, whatever,
- 19:23No one bets for your luggage, one bets for sleeping. Sorry,
- 19:33just dropping so much knowledge on me today. I had no idea. It's
- 19:37my favorite thing to say. When Lauren and I get into a hotel room,
- 19:41I throw my suitcase on the one bed I go. You know,
- 19:42they say you don't wrestle for beds, you don't sleep on separate ones in
- 19:48a way all right. Anyway, Rihanna gave birth to her a second kid.
- 19:53So this happened, I guess a few weeks ago. We're just finding
- 19:56out about it now. It was a little boy. They don't have any
- 19:59other information other than they believe it begins with an R. There's Rihanna and
- 20:03then they had their little baby boy, Rizza. And now who knows?
- 20:07Did they have Rihanna Junior sizz Sizza. That'd be kind of cool, like
- 20:12the artist or like the Rizza is also a test from Wootang clan, Right
- 20:18is that right? Didn't know you were a big woot Tang Gal went to
- 20:22a concert and on stage and I was the girl in Colorado. Yes.
- 20:26In college, you were on stage with Wootang Clan. Yes, and I
- 20:27had all that the symbol up. I was like, Woo Tang Clan.
- 20:30Yes, what kind of life were you living? I went through a stage.
- 20:36You have a photo of this? I had a pink cell phone at
- 20:38the time. Probably not, don't there being a camera option? Like in
- 20:45Amanda in the Morning on seven? Did you hear about the woman living in
- 20:51California who heard a little noise from outside? And that's when, you know,
- 20:53one of the scarier things when you're sleeping and you wake up and you
- 20:56hear a noise. Was it? Like? Who at the dough? Like?
- 21:00What was it? I don't know. I mean like the other night
- 21:06I woke up in the middle of the nine and I come out to the
- 21:07kitchen and the patio doors wide open, wide open. What I know?
- 21:12Now, we're living with my sister, so it could have been anybody just
- 21:15leaving it. I'm like, what so yeah, but that is down throw
- 21:18me into especially as early as we wake up. I don't care what the
- 21:22circumstances. I don't care if it was one of the kids that accidentally left
- 21:26it open or any of that. I'm thinking there is a man in my
- 21:29house. Oh yeah, you're gonna have her time and look addict to well.
- 21:32In this case, this woman in California came outside to investigate the noise.
- 21:34She thought somebody was living on the on the roof. So she comes
- 21:38outside and she looks down and in this house there's a little like crawl space
- 21:42under the house. Okay, there's a tiny little window at the basement level
- 21:45you can see. So here's, oh god, her version of what she
- 21:51saw. So at six o'clock in the Marne and we woke up and we
- 21:53heard this noise, and so came outside. I thought somebody was on a
- 21:57roof and standing at the front door, and I'm like peeking out, and
- 22:02I see the grass moving. A arm comes out of the hole and it's
- 22:07feeling around this hole outside. There is a hole. I'm living here for
- 22:11months, living underneath the house. Literally, get out of here. A
- 22:17man was living under their house for months. Nope, not happening, right,
- 22:23Would you ever be able to go back into that house? I would
- 22:26have them. I would call the first concrete company available and just have him
- 22:30fill that basement with cement. Seriously, And the fact you just saw an
- 22:33arm in the grass, but no, like you don't come back from stuff
- 22:37like that. And then so the police come, they pull this guy out
- 22:41of there. It's just a dirty, dirty man. Was he like coming
- 22:45in and out? Do we have any other details? What you got to
- 22:48imagine? You don't have food down there? What are you? What are
- 22:49you eating in a basement? And that's what I'm wondering. Did he sneak
- 22:52in the house? Was there another little area? Can he see you?
- 22:56Was he watching you? Can he hear your conversation? You gotta assume the
- 23:00worst. You gotta imagine you're licking your toes while you're sleeping like Amanda in
- 23:06the morning, Big Nutty eight point seven. There's one small town that's having
- 23:08a bit of an issue. You grew up in a small town, you
- 23:11know what little things like this happen. They're big news, right, you
- 23:14know? Wadina literally anything have you ever? And this I'm totally digressing for
- 23:18a seconds, wadin a pair in your journal? I feel like we need
- 23:22to subscribe to it because they have all the logs of like what people call
- 23:26in for. Oh yeah, it's hilarious, like strange man walking by my
- 23:30house and then by the end of it's like, yeah, walking the dog,
- 23:32Like, why are you calling the guys right now? I know?
- 23:34Well, imagine if this one down in the city like Jadina. City officials
- 23:37have asked for railings to be placed around tombstones because they're having an issue with
- 23:45the tombstones. Amanda, railings. Yeah, they want to put railings up
- 23:48around the tombstone because people keep on the tombstones. They keep wait what they
- 23:57keep forcing around on the tombstones. I'm trying to these are in this town.
- 24:04They have what they look like kind of raised tombstones, so like you
- 24:07know, a flat surface like in the graveyard. Well it sort of acts
- 24:12as a bed in these circumstances, and people keep going to this graveyard doing
- 24:18the thing. I mean, how do they know that? I guess that's
- 24:21my question. Is it security cameras or something? Security cameras evidence, physical
- 24:26evidence left behind the scene of the crime. And also say they say the
- 24:30surfaces are also flat enough that people are using them as tables to do drugs
- 24:33on. So just a slew of issues going on in this small town.
- 24:37It's got the people upset. The city council is stepped in because they're looking
- 24:40to quote turn the town around. So they want to put railings around the
- 24:44tombstones in order to prevent this. For napty, Wow, that is wild.
- 24:47I just can't imagine getting into a headspace where I think that all of
- 24:51that is okay. Do you feel like that's going to be a barrier for
- 24:53me and my thoughts? I mean, it would be a little distracting.
- 24:56I mean a little distracting. You're I mean looking at all these last names
- 25:00and people and flowers and thinking of all the tears that were shed down.
- 25:07That's probably gonna do it for somebody. Got me On another note, can
- 25:11I digress to since you already did ye, at what point do we need
- 25:14to stop burying people? You know what I mean? That's like they're not
- 25:18making more land, and we got a lot of it dedicated to just burying
- 25:22bodies from the seventeen hundreds. At what point because they're making a lot more
- 25:26people, I know that not making any more land and we're all gonna die.
- 25:30This is a really wild statement. I'm just saying we gotta figure something
- 25:33about I mean, and do you think you bury them deeper and then start
- 25:38stacking people on top? There's an idea you gotta go lower because rest in
- 25:44peace to my mom. The plots all that's if it's expensive. So if
- 25:47you were to put them instide next to each other, just start going vertical.
- 25:52This conversation I feel icky all the way around, especially how it started.
- 25:56Jeez, do you want to talk more about the people doing the thing
- 25:57on the tombstones? You tell me, what do you want me to do?
- 26:03Morning? Imagine you are set to leave for your dream wedding like this
- 26:10couple. Their names are a Donado and Magda. They live in Boston.
- 26:15Donado like to Tornado, got it? Well? Anyway, there are hours
- 26:19away from leaving on an airplane to Italy for I mean, just imagine getting
- 26:25married the countryside of Italy. You know I can't because that would be incredible.
- 26:30Yeah, it was champagne fulls like wine. I mean, well,
- 26:34they have a dog, this couple. The dog's name is Chicken Cutlet,
- 26:38which is adorable. But Chicken Cutlet, the golden retriever, hours before they
- 26:44were set to leave the house to get on a flight, decided he was
- 26:48hungry and the only food in sight was Donato's passport. Get out of here.
- 26:53Somebody made this up. All of it has to be made up.
- 26:56There's no way you think I'm just making this up. Chicken cutlet. When
- 27:00after the passport, Chicken cutlet, eight Donados passport. Let me guess the
- 27:04whole work came next, Spike. We don't have any information on it,
- 27:10eight the homework or not. But he did, in fact, he Donato's
- 27:12passport, meaning that they were no longer able to leave on that flight to
- 27:15Italy because you know, you got literally the passports chewed up to pieces unusable.
- 27:22Yeah, because how do you go about that. There's nothing electronic about
- 27:25a passport. I've never had one. I have no idea. You really
- 27:27can't. I think even a rush on a passport is thirty days. Really,
- 27:32yeah, I don't think you can get anything within a five second turnaround.
- 27:36And even if it was a small wedding or planning in Italy, there
- 27:38are things booked, you know, reserved, Like this is not something you
- 27:41just easily can Oh, we're gonna come, you know in two months,
- 27:45right, and or you're gonna have to pay double or all of the things.
- 27:48You imagine the devastation. I mean, do you look at Donato and
- 27:52Golfed, I mean, what's his name? Chicken chicken cutlet. I couldn't
- 27:56be mad at you. Roll It's okay, Bud, or do you you
- 28:02know, put him up for adoption? No, you are very upset,
- 28:07of course, But then at this point, don't you just look at your
- 28:10soon to be a wife and he wasn't meant to be. We saved maybe
- 28:15some money, and uh, I guess go to the courthouse. I don't
- 28:18know. I know there are like maybe not when it comes to traveling abroad.
- 28:22But I had a friend who is visiting us. We're in Florida,
- 28:23and the night before that he was supposed to get on a flight, as
- 28:26we do, had a few drinks, lost his wallet, and you know,
- 28:30the fear of like losing your wallets is to get on a flight,
- 28:32and so apparently there is an option. It takes forever, So he had
- 28:37to get to the airport super early, and they had to do all sorts
- 28:40of different things to prove who he was, but he was able to get
- 28:41on. It is a way to go about this. It's never happened to
- 28:45me. I just always thought, just in general, we were talking a
- 28:48little bit about like going somewhere like I feel like if I wanted to go
- 28:52even to Canada or something like that. I need at least six months,
- 28:55I know. Do you have a passport? I do, but I haven't
- 28:57had it re uh new because I'm waiting until we would want to go,
- 29:03So that way it has time. So if I'm not going for two years
- 29:06and I'm not gonna wait, aren't they good for several years? Though I
- 29:08think it's only six or seven okay at a time? Yeah, chicken cutlet
- 29:14interesting, So there is I never knew that there was a process for That
- 29:17makes you feel a little bit better. But I saice to have in your
- 29:19back pocket. But you know, I know, in his case, extremely
- 29:23hungover. The last thing you want to do is be going through the airport
- 29:26trying to you know, prove them your identity. Yeah, and the stress
- 29:29of it. But at this point with this bride and groom, wouldn't you
- 29:32just chock it up to a great story and then would you move on?
- 29:36Or would you? Well? I mean here they found themselves on Valley newslive
- 29:38dot com, so you know there's a real fifteen minutes of fame. Cut
- 29:44Let me guess a go fund me is coming up next because they have to
- 29:45move the wedding a day I'm guessing things are good in the morning, trending.
- 29:55Now here's what you need to now trot to biman ares you prettily should
- 29:57win a Chevy's house Atminard c store for details. Nice and be on the
- 30:03lookout. There is a sobriety checkpoint issued for this weekend. The location in
- 30:07time, it's shocking. They're not going to tell you where it's at,
- 30:10but they are saying it's going to be between Friday and Sunday. Just another
- 30:12great reminder, especially the end of summertime. Just don't drink and drive.
- 30:18Well exactly, I don't care what season is a man, No, no,
- 30:21I think people tend to do it more probably in the summertime though,
- 30:25and around holiday weekends and all that. It's not Labor Day though, no,
- 30:27that's next weekend. That feels speculative. But either way, just don't
- 30:33do it, you know, and then you don't have to worry about,
- 30:34Gee, where's this checkpoint? You hope? What do they do if you
- 30:37pass by the way, you give you a sucker or something. It's like
- 30:41what I do. Love it works for my kids to every once I'm like,
- 30:44I don't want to in my helmet. No, you have to or
- 30:45the police will pull you over because the local police department if your kids have
- 30:48helmets on, sometimes if they spot them, they'll give them ice cream.
- 30:52Yeah, isn't that cool? I love it. That's totally different than a
- 30:55sobriety checkpoint. But also I just love love that they do that. The
- 31:00Golden Bachelor. I have been all about this since we found out seventy one
- 31:03year old Jerry is gonna be uh, I guess the Golden batchelor getting after
- 31:10these ladies. And he has a type he want somebody was a little bit
- 31:12athletic. I think glass we heard maybe a pickleballer, athletic and yeah,
- 31:18not say he said to anybody younger than him, basically between fifty and sixty.
- 31:22I think what he was going with. And he's seventy one. He
- 31:26is gonna be debuting on ABC Thursdays at eight o'clock. This starts on September
- 31:32twenty eighth, but that's gonna be Thursday night football. Sorry, guys,
- 31:36a conflict of interest. I think they might be going for different demographics,
- 31:40and I actually think this is gonna be one that everybody who has watched the
- 31:44Bachelor for so many years and you just kind of let it fade. You're
- 31:47gonna come back and take a peek. When when do we meet the ladies?
- 31:49Usually they give a little bit of a debut before him reality Steve I
- 31:55used to follow along with that. I wonder if he's got any intel on
- 31:57the ladies. I bet he does. We should to do a thing where
- 32:00we pick we guess what names will be. You know, oh, you
- 32:05guess the most names of the women, because that would be what ages fifty
- 32:08to sixty? What are you going with? Barbs, Like, there's gonna
- 32:13be a bar There's gonna be Lisa, a Denise, Karen, there's likely
- 32:17a Karen, although they Karen though that would be amazing all the way around
- 32:23to Dad with the Kate Goslin haircut and everything from back in the day.
- 32:30And we've all been to a wedding and this happens. But it was Taylor
- 32:35Swift at this wedding over the weekend, you know where Buddy Jack and Margaret
- 32:38got married. Quality and Jack at enough but this last name enough and yeah,
- 32:45there you go. That's what I said. I'm just saying. We've
- 32:47said like seven different ways in the last two days, just you know,
- 32:52you know, he's my boy. Got to make sure you get it.
- 32:54I apologize Jack. You wasn't to our knowledge, she wasn't a part of
- 33:01the wedding party. She was a celebrity that showed up, which great because
- 33:06they are really good friends. But she gave a fifteen minute speech. Come
- 33:09on, I don't care if you're a celebrity or not. A fifteen minutes
- 33:13speech is ridiculous. Some people said it was hilarious, and she roasted the
- 33:16couple, which is even more annoying to me. I don't know why,
- 33:21you know, it was annoying, like nobody ever successfullys pulled Like every speech
- 33:24ever you always hear like the best man, He's like, oh, Gary's
- 33:30gonna get it. Just wait till I give my speech up until he married
- 33:36Margaret at now everything is so great and I'll never forget that day. But
- 33:39she also cracked a couple of jokes, so everybody said that. There was
- 33:44one point where she said she always thinks Jack in her acceptance speeches, but
- 33:49he never thinks her. This feels also a little inside ball to me,
- 33:52And totally the whole thing was, Hey, look at me, I'm Taylor
- 33:54Swift. For fifteen minutes I don't care. There's no speech. I could
- 33:59be good for fifteen minutes. I don't care to keep it literally like three
- 34:01minutes or less. Get up there, share a nice funny story about the
- 34:07groom or the bride or the couple. Don't make it about you. You
- 34:08can sure tell everybody how you know the person. But then you see something
- 34:13heartwarming at the end. Do it, cheers, wrap it. Everybody will
- 34:16love you. I am sure though, that the fifteen minutes is because it
- 34:20was so wild. I bet people were just crying, laughing. It took
- 34:22a while for people to get it together, so she had a pause for
- 34:25probably like three minute increments, is what I'm getting. You know how it
- 34:29was by the end of that fifteen minute speech there was so much room noise
- 34:31because everyone had just given up on listening and had their own conversations happening.
- 34:37They were up at the bar gus. Weatherwise, today, it is supposed
- 34:40to be hot, hi about ninety maybe some sunshine later on this afternoon.
