- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to game debut, Patrick Clay, I'm back here
- 0:14Speaker 2: with Greg Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland, who is back in
- 0:17Speaker 2: the lead. Still in our picks, but we've learned recently, Cynthia,
- 0:20Speaker 2: the games matter more now and Greg Rosenthal would like
- 0:23Speaker 2: to change the system.
- 0:24Speaker 3: So okay, let's come up with We'll come up with
- 0:27Speaker 3: a rubric here. So what happened with everything before a
- 0:30Speaker 3: week nine or week ten didn't matter?
- 0:33Speaker 4: No, I mean, it all counts, but what is it?
- 0:35Speaker 5: Bill Parcells used to say, you know, three or football
- 0:37Speaker 5: starts at Thanksgiving, So that's like our picks. Let's really
- 0:40Speaker 5: start focusing and dial in now.
- 0:42Speaker 3: So we've got a couple of weeks because Thanksgivings in
- 0:44Speaker 3: two weeks.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Okay, okay, So Coach Parcells not currently viewing our show,
- 0:49Speaker 2: you don't know that, perhaps, Coach high here's our picks,
- 0:53Speaker 2: the majority of which came way before Thanksgiving.
- 0:56Speaker 6: Suck is what we're saying.
- 0:58Speaker 2: That's why our Queen Sea is right there with five
- 1:02Speaker 2: straight weeks picking ten or more games. Dan Cynthia is
- 1:05Speaker 2: still in first place.
- 1:07Speaker 7: Been making game picks like an MVP lately.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford has been playing like one.
- 1:14Speaker 7: Matthew has it.
- 1:15Speaker 8: Throws down in the LNS tunnel screen poop and Akuak
- 1:17Speaker 8: gets one block, now another, He's clean touchdown. Pooka.
- 1:22Speaker 6: Stafford into daylight, hits.
- 1:24Speaker 7: The sideline, click to the back.
- 1:25Speaker 9: HiT's caught for a touchdown and that's career touchdown.
- 1:29Speaker 10: Pass number four hundred.
- 1:32Speaker 7: Helmut high snap look he left, throws that way. It's
- 1:35Speaker 7: cot for a touchdown. He throws no look left side
- 1:39Speaker 7: belong Parkinson. He can walk right in. Matthew Stafford and
- 1:43Speaker 7: the Rams are.
- 1:44Speaker 10: Stopping on San Francisco.
- 1:47Speaker 7: You can see what that shimmy there. Matthew Stafford's been bawling.
- 1:50Speaker 7: He's got a monster matchup right over there at.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Zofar Stadium against the Seahawks. The winner will claim sole
- 1:55Speaker 2: possession of first place in the division.
- 1:58Speaker 7: So who is able to do that after.
- 2:00Speaker 3: The game sent I think the Seahawks are able to
- 2:02Speaker 3: do that by one twenty four to twenty three in
- 2:05Speaker 3: this matchup. It really comes down to this is a
- 2:08Speaker 3: like probably the best game of the week, I think,
- 2:10Speaker 3: And when I'm looking at this I'm like.
- 2:12Speaker 6: What's the difference.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Well, the defense for the Seahawks, they've been getting better, healthier,
- 2:17Speaker 3: creating more of the disruptive and nasty kind of pressure,
- 2:21Speaker 3: and just doing things that we are seeing make teams
- 2:24Speaker 3: extremely uncomfortable.
- 2:26Speaker 6: And doing it at a very high level.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I mean, they have the most different players who are
- 2:29Speaker 3: causing quarterback hits, the most different players with double digit pressures.
- 2:33Speaker 3: They're doing all of these things for a lot of
- 2:34Speaker 3: different directions that you're like, oh, I don't even know
- 2:37Speaker 3: who's gonna come at me with this pressure this time.
- 2:39Speaker 6: It's kind of all of them.
- 2:40Speaker 3: So that's the type of defense that Mike McDonald is
- 2:44Speaker 3: used to coming from the Ravens, and he's kind of
- 2:47Speaker 3: it's really like all come together this season.
- 2:49Speaker 5: I think these are the two best teams in the NFL.
- 2:51Speaker 5: I think it's the game of the forget the week,
- 2:53Speaker 5: maybe the game of the year so far.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I was about to say, I can't tell if the
- 2:57Speaker 3: year's just started or if it's over yet, Like all
- 3:00Speaker 3: of these things.
- 3:01Speaker 5: You're saying, this game does matter even though it's at
- 3:03Speaker 5: four h five E. I mean, come on, NFL, they
- 3:05Speaker 5: didn't see this coming as the game of the year.
- 3:07Speaker 5: You know what else people didn't see coming the Seahawks
- 3:09Speaker 5: running game last week against Arizona. Everyone had turned the
- 3:12Speaker 5: channel by then because they were up twenty five points.
- 3:15Speaker 5: They had a drive that lasted thirteen plays. They did
- 3:19Speaker 5: not throw the ball on one of those plays, and
- 3:22Speaker 5: I saw an improvement in terms of their blocking. And
- 3:25Speaker 5: Arizona's a good defense overall, and even though they're without
- 3:28Speaker 5: their center this week, I think their running game has
- 3:31Speaker 5: gotten more consistent.
- 3:31Speaker 4: It was one of the heaviest.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Run pass scripts in the entire season by any team,
- 3:36Speaker 5: and yet they were very effective fifty eight percent success right,
- 3:39Speaker 5: And I think that's important this week because you want
- 3:41Speaker 5: to keep those Rams pass rushers from just going into
- 3:44Speaker 5: the backfield. I think they can be more balanced than
- 3:47Speaker 5: they have been. I'm taking the Seahawks to win this game.
- 3:49Speaker 7: I agree with both of you.
- 3:50Speaker 2: This is a great game with two of the best
- 3:52Speaker 2: teams in the NFL right now.
- 3:54Speaker 7: You can make a case. I would make it the
- 3:55Speaker 7: Seahawks have been playing the best football.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I've got the Rams by four twenty six to twenty two.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Amid all the trends of throwing out a heavy personnel.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Both teams are really good at it. And I know,
- 4:05Speaker 2: as Gregs has undermined me here by pointing out this,
- 4:08Speaker 2: the Seahawks were run on the ball pretty well last week.
- 4:11Speaker 2: One week does not a season make the Seahawks number
- 4:13Speaker 2: thirty in rush efficiency.
- 4:15Speaker 7: Right now, the Rams number four.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Styles make fights, and I fear the Seahawks might be
- 4:20Speaker 2: a bit one handed, and I lean on Los Angeles
- 4:23Speaker 2: in this one, So yeah, I'll be the straight bout.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I'll be all by myself, so one of us will
- 4:26Speaker 2: be right regardless unless there's a tie in the Game
- 4:29Speaker 2: of the Year, which is not something that we're looking
- 4:31Speaker 2: forward to. Stop for Who's eating good presented by Applebee's,
- 4:35Speaker 2: it is Matthew Stafford leading the NFL with twenty five
- 4:38Speaker 2: passing touchdowns. Cynthia will we have more or less than
- 4:42Speaker 2: two and a half against Seattle.
- 4:43Speaker 3: So I mean it would be smarter to say that
- 4:46Speaker 3: he'd have less than he'd have too. But if you're
- 4:48Speaker 3: looking at the run that he's been on, as in
- 4:50Speaker 3: like four more passing touchdowns and consecutive games, I think
- 4:54Speaker 3: you're fine saying more. I think there's going to be
- 4:57Speaker 3: some situation here where the run game does matter. But
- 5:02Speaker 3: this is going to be an uncomfortable game for both
- 5:04Speaker 3: quarterback so I think that both will have to lean
- 5:06Speaker 3: on the pass game. Just you know, if our Seattle
- 5:09Speaker 3: ZeVA is just triple team Pooka to cook, You're fine,
- 5:11Speaker 3: all right.
- 5:11Speaker 7: That makes me feel better about my thick.
- 5:13Speaker 2: With Matthew Stafford going over two and a half touchdowns,
- 5:16Speaker 2: he has the Rams offense humming, as does Dan Campbell.
- 5:19Speaker 7: All in plays with the Lions.
- 5:26Speaker 10: The five four yards, Sir Samer gets putting together a
- 5:32Speaker 10: day punch up the middle, then telling about Toulson, then
- 5:35Speaker 10: on the edge, and once you get them out on
- 5:37Speaker 10: the edge, sonic is gone.
- 5:41Speaker 2: The Troy's heading the Philly for a potential playoff preview
- 5:44Speaker 2: with the Eagles. The Lions crushed the Commanders last week,
- 5:47Speaker 2: while the Eagles hung on to win in Green Bay.
- 5:49Speaker 2: We know what you want, Cynthia. What does the model
- 5:51Speaker 2: have to say about this game?
- 5:52Speaker 3: The model hates my heart and it's picking Philadelphia too,
- 5:56Speaker 3: Although there's some like it's okay because the Eagles were
- 5:59Speaker 3: in the Super Bowl for me, so I kind of.
- 6:01Speaker 6: Win both ways.
- 6:02Speaker 3: But Philadelphia wins twenty four to twenty three in this
- 6:05Speaker 3: matchup in my model because Jalen Hurts is able to
- 6:08Speaker 3: target one of the deficiencies that the Lions still have,
- 6:11Speaker 3: which is their deep passing threat, mainly that they're still
- 6:14Speaker 3: missing pieces in their secondary, and that's going to be
- 6:18Speaker 3: a problem when you have the diversity of pass catchers
- 6:21Speaker 3: like I don't know, aj Brown, DeVante Smith, Dallas like
- 6:24Speaker 3: need I say more.
- 6:25Speaker 6: It's just too many different.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Options against a defleated secondary, and that makes just the
- 6:31Speaker 3: smidge of difference that causes a one point win for
- 6:35Speaker 3: the Eagles. It's gonna be a great game. I kind
- 6:37Speaker 3: of wish that I wasn't a fan. I could just
- 6:39Speaker 3: be like, watch this one. But I like that Lions
- 6:42Speaker 3: fan of me is like, well this is this is
- 6:45Speaker 3: gonna be a bad Sunday night, we promise.
- 6:47Speaker 2: The Lions fan within Cynthia is a little more passionate
- 6:49Speaker 2: with the roar there on that one. I'm on the
- 6:52Speaker 2: same page with the model. I've got a two point
- 6:54Speaker 2: win for the Birds. The Lions twenty four to twenty
- 6:58Speaker 2: six fall to Philadelphia.
- 6:59Speaker 7: They love to play man.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Only four teams have seen more pass attempts while they're
- 7:03Speaker 2: in coverage, and Jalen Hurts has some pretty good options.
- 7:06Speaker 7: When the other teams are in man coverage.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Like that guy, I know that there's a lot of
- 7:10Speaker 2: questions about a j Brown's frustration breaking news area receiver
- 7:14Speaker 2: would like to contribute to offense more at eleven. Sometimes
- 7:18Speaker 2: it's the Jimmy's and the Joe's. Jalen Hurts has thirteen
- 7:22Speaker 2: touchdowns of one pick against man coverage. So yeah, eleven
- 7:26Speaker 2: and six, I think, get healthy in this one in
- 7:29Speaker 2: Birds win.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Greg, it's not about the Jimmy's and the Joe's. It's
- 7:32Speaker 5: about Dan Dan Campbell. And if you looked at their scores,
- 7:35Speaker 5: by the way, look at the bottom of the screen.
- 7:37Speaker 5: You see how you know Cynthia by one, Patrick by two.
- 7:40Speaker 5: They say the Lions are going to cover anyways, go
- 7:42Speaker 5: the whole way and just.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Get Greg with like God, that's doo with me. That
- 7:46Speaker 4: was all Dodger style.
- 7:47Speaker 7: That's Greg there.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Dan Campbell made a decision and he is calling plays
- 7:53Speaker 5: this week, I think and forever, I'm never doing that again.
- 7:56Speaker 5: You know what I was doing, Jamison Williams bigger part
- 7:59Speaker 5: of the Lions offense now that Dan Campbell's is calling plays.
- 8:02Speaker 5: It was just spamming something that worked, which was Jamison wins,
- 8:06Speaker 5: and I know it's gonna be much harder this week
- 8:08Speaker 5: when you're not playing the commander's defense. But I thought
- 8:10Speaker 5: he made a lot of smart moves, including not leaving
- 8:12Speaker 5: Jamir Gibbs in in pass protection. You see David Montgomery
- 8:15Speaker 5: here on a pass play, was in more often on
- 8:18Speaker 5: third downs, and in more in general on passing plays.
- 8:21Speaker 5: And look, Dan Campbell's had to overcome.
- 8:24Speaker 4: A stereotype his whole career.
- 8:25Speaker 5: I get it, like he's a big, strong guy and
- 8:28Speaker 5: people don't think he's that smart. I face that my
- 8:30Speaker 5: whole life too. He's also smart, not just strong.
- 8:33Speaker 7: And that's why he puts the play color glasses on.
- 8:36Speaker 3: I just feel like, like that is everyone who's aging
- 8:38Speaker 3: a little bit. He puts him down his nose, and
- 8:40Speaker 3: he's like looking over the top and then looking down
- 8:43Speaker 3: over the top and down.
- 8:43Speaker 6: It's just it's it's perfection. It's perfection.
- 8:46Speaker 7: It's intimidating.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I wouldn't want to like if somebody's calling plays and
- 8:49Speaker 2: they don't have glasses on.
- 8:51Speaker 7: Yeah, the glasses on. I'm ready to execute. The Eagles
- 8:54Speaker 7: and lines currently in great position to make the playoffs.
- 8:57Speaker 7: Let's go to the AFC West.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Where we could see three teams make the postseason. As
- 9:02Speaker 2: we look at the odds according to season or sportsbook,
- 9:05Speaker 2: the Broncos at plus one fifteen ahead of the Chiefs
- 9:09Speaker 2: and then the Chargers and yeah, if you you know,
- 9:13Speaker 2: if you'd like to, you can get the loss makings
- 9:16Speaker 2: Raiders a plus seventy five thousand.
- 9:18Speaker 7: The Chiefs got a problem out of Broncos.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Call the hotlan immediately squag off Sunday, Denver currently three
- 9:24Speaker 2: games up on Casey in the division.
- 9:27Speaker 7: What happens Grect?
- 9:28Speaker 5: I think the Chiefs come out of the by looking
- 9:30Speaker 5: their best. I've been saying I think the Chiefs are
- 9:32Speaker 5: still the best team in the AFC, but they gotta
- 9:34Speaker 5: start making it happen. Twenty four to twenty is my
- 9:36Speaker 5: Chiefs win, partly because of that by situation. It's one
- 9:40Speaker 5: of my favorite annual traditions. Forget about Thanksgiving, it's the
- 9:44Speaker 5: bye weeks that let's trot out that old canard, Oh
- 9:47Speaker 5: Andy Reid, I hope you're around forever so I don't
- 9:50Speaker 5: have to do my homework whatever.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Whenever I talk about the Chiefs coming off of bye
- 9:54Speaker 4: what's the record now?
- 9:56Speaker 5: Two and twenty two and four Mahomes also thirteen and
- 10:00Speaker 5: one against Denver all time.
- 10:03Speaker 4: That's a good one.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Mahomes, by the way, only has one loss coming off
- 10:06Speaker 5: of Buy in his career. And I do think that
- 10:09Speaker 5: it gives this time to reset for the Chiefs and
- 10:12Speaker 5: what they want to do offensively, hopefully fix that running
- 10:15Speaker 5: game against the Broncos.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I mean I to have Kansas City. The model's like
- 10:20Speaker 3: a little drunk this week because lots of close scores
- 10:24Speaker 3: twenty three to twenty two in this matchup. Why what
- 10:28Speaker 3: is the difference? What makes that tiny shred of difference? Well,
- 10:30Speaker 3: it's the different number of pass catchers that Patrick Mahomes
- 10:34Speaker 3: has at his disposable. They can find a lot of
- 10:36Speaker 3: different mismatches. Andy Reid over the Buy studied where he
- 10:40Speaker 3: wants to do the mismatches. You know, Patzertan has not
- 10:42Speaker 3: been playing.
- 10:43Speaker 6: The front is really good. So what are you gonna do?
- 10:45Speaker 3: Get away from that front, get the ball out quickly.
- 10:48Speaker 3: That's why Patrick Mahomes has not been under a ton
- 10:50Speaker 3: of pressure. Oh you know, Oh see, that's such Travis
- 10:53Speaker 3: Kelcey did you see him? Did you see Rashi Rice earlier?
- 10:56Speaker 6: How about literally anyone else? The Xavier Worthy, anyone want
- 10:59Speaker 6: to go real fast.
- 11:00Speaker 3: There's just so many different options, which makes the oh,
- 11:02Speaker 3: don't keep it in there.
- 11:03Speaker 4: You get a fine for that, sir.
- 11:04Speaker 3: But ultimately you're gonna want to take all of these
- 11:07Speaker 3: different pass catchers and figure out which mismatch you want.
- 11:09Speaker 3: And he said to buy, so you know he's gonna
- 11:11Speaker 3: you're gonna be able to figure that out.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, congratulations to Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes who we
- 11:15Speaker 2: are good. Not just after the five, it's just generally good,
- 11:18Speaker 2: which is why I think that after the vice stat
- 11:21Speaker 2: falls and I've picked a lot of games incorrectly when
- 11:23Speaker 2: I take the Chiefs to lose, so why don't we
- 11:25Speaker 2: run it back one more time. I'll take the division,
- 11:27Speaker 2: leading Denver Broncos by one point twenty one to twenty.
- 11:31Speaker 2: I couldn't help but notice, much like Greg did in
- 11:32Speaker 2: the other game, you guys have some pretty close close scores.
- 11:35Speaker 4: I went over the number, I went Chiefs out of
- 11:37Speaker 4: the way.
- 11:37Speaker 7: Well, okay, I think it drove close.
- 11:40Speaker 6: The model has the model has a problem.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Well, you know, me and the model are not similar
- 11:44Speaker 2: in that capacity. I am fully unimpaired when I make
- 11:47Speaker 2: these bad decisions.
- 11:48Speaker 7: But the Broncos have been in some rock fights.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I think that they can muddy up the picture a
- 11:53Speaker 2: lot like the Buffalo Bills did against Kansas City with
- 11:56Speaker 2: that talent and get into a close game and then
- 11:59Speaker 2: have one of the better scrambling quarterbacks at twenty twenty four,
- 12:02Speaker 2: start to scramble a little bit more, only justin Herbert
- 12:06Speaker 2: has more yards per carry on scrambles. They've been throwing
- 12:09Speaker 2: the ball laterally, a lot of screens and draws for
- 12:12Speaker 2: the Broncos.
- 12:13Speaker 7: Watch coach Peyton, not hide bo Nicks.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Let them go out there and make some decisions and
- 12:17Speaker 2: get some scrambles in and beat the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 12:20Speaker 2: It's time forget more with Geico Cynthia. Who's more likely
- 12:24Speaker 2: to have four more receptions in this game? Travis Kelcey
- 12:27Speaker 2: or Courtland Sun.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Well, we talked about the variety of different pass catchers here,
- 12:31Speaker 3: so for me, it's Courtland Sutton. On the other side,
- 12:34Speaker 3: who's the coach Sean Payton? What's he in the mold
- 12:36Speaker 3: of Bill Parcell?
- 12:38Speaker 6: What does that mean?
- 12:39Speaker 3: Big body guys who have an opportunity to absolutely just
- 12:42Speaker 3: body the hetch out of the defensive backs.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Are going to be the formula.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Now, these could all happen in the fourth quarter because
- 12:49Speaker 3: Boenix doesn't seem to really come alive until the end
- 12:51Speaker 3: of the game, but ultimately I think more likely to
- 12:54Speaker 3: have four or more receptions.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Courtland Sutton Time for Seas the Season presented by Caesar
- 12:59Speaker 2: Sports Book.
- 13:00Speaker 7: As we look at the first touchdown score odds in.
- 13:03Speaker 2: The Big Time match up between the Buffalo Bills and
- 13:05Speaker 2: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 13:06Speaker 7: He got a couple of Bills at the top, followed
- 13:08Speaker 7: up by Rashad White, Ameka Buka and Kean Coleman.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Let's dive more into this mega matchup between the Bucks
- 13:15Speaker 2: and the Bills. Both teams dropped games last week. Who
- 13:18Speaker 2: walks away with a win here?
- 13:20Speaker 5: Grect, I think the Bucks pull off the big upset,
- 13:22Speaker 5: at least according to the number. I mean it's five
- 13:25Speaker 5: and a half, six and a half, whatever it is.
- 13:27Speaker 5: I don't think it should be that big of an upset.
- 13:29Speaker 5: The Bucks are a good team, and I think they
- 13:30Speaker 5: have the right personnel to stop the Bills offense because
- 13:33Speaker 5: they can do what the Dolphins did a week ago,
- 13:36Speaker 5: but do it better. Here are some of the mistakes
- 13:38Speaker 5: that Josh Allen was making, forcing the ball into coverage.
- 13:42Speaker 5: The Dolphins basically copied what the Patriots did and they
- 13:47Speaker 5: loaded up up front, and they dared Buffalo to win
- 13:50Speaker 5: their one on one matchups. And you know what, Kean
- 13:52Speaker 5: Coleman couldn't do it, even against guys who just got
- 13:55Speaker 5: on the roster like Juju Brents.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Josh Allen. I don't think was patient enough.
- 13:59Speaker 5: And I think this is a better Buccaneers defense than
- 14:02Speaker 5: they've been in previous years, so they can load up
- 14:04Speaker 5: to stop the run. It's one of the best Todd
- 14:07Speaker 5: Bowles defenses of the Buccaneers Bulls era, and I think
- 14:11Speaker 5: they get the win because Buffalo's limited right now on offense.
- 14:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm with you, Greg.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I have a five point win for the Tampa Bay
- 14:18Speaker 2: Buccaneers twenty five of twenty. I think the Bills have
- 14:21Speaker 2: great matchups throughout the AFC, but sometimes the strength and
- 14:25Speaker 2: weaknesses play out funny. And we just saw, like Greg
- 14:27Speaker 2: pointed out, the Bills not able to separate against the Fins.
- 14:30Speaker 2: And now the matchup is even worse against the Bucks,
- 14:33Speaker 2: where teams are outright avoiding Antoine Winfield, except of course,
- 14:36Speaker 2: the Patriots on four down last week, and maybe it
- 14:39Speaker 2: should be avoiding Jamel Dean, who has held opposing quarterbacks
- 14:42Speaker 2: to a passer rating of.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Twenty two point eight. It's the lowest sense, at least
- 14:47Speaker 7: twenty eighteen.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I don't know if the Bills get it figured out
- 14:50Speaker 2: in one week, Cynthia, I've got the Bucks.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Here are you guys?
- 14:54Speaker 3: You guys need to call some sort of number because
- 14:56Speaker 3: you're giving me the bills. Okay, fine, I'll take the
- 14:59Speaker 3: bills twenty seven to twenty three bleed mode. Give me
- 15:02Speaker 3: that prime number I feel very good about at home.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Can we get double Can we get double points for
- 15:10Speaker 3: me getting.
- 15:10Speaker 5: We should get double double wins if we will, we're
- 15:13Speaker 5: picking the big opposite. We're not taking oh, the safe
- 15:15Speaker 5: little prime number, you know, safe little truck.
- 15:18Speaker 3: The safe little prime number right here. Well, listen, when
- 15:22Speaker 3: do you talk about a Todd Bowles defense?
- 15:24Speaker 6: Maybe in the.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Power No, it's the fastest one, or it's the it's
- 15:27Speaker 3: the best one.
- 15:28Speaker 4: You how about I've other run the Patriots out.
- 15:30Speaker 5: These are the only too successful good not.
- 15:33Speaker 6: A great rushing team, the Patriots.
- 15:35Speaker 3: And you know who rushed really well against the Bucks?
- 15:39Speaker 6: All the people this.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Is this is not a normal Todd Bowles rushing defense.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Usually when you think Bulls, you think just some sort
- 15:46Speaker 3: of wall against the run.
- 15:47Speaker 6: That's not what's happening this season. Especially in the middle.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Even though they have Vitavea there, they're able to.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Get a bunch of yards, a bunch of yards before contact,
- 15:54Speaker 3: a bunch of yards after contact.
- 15:56Speaker 6: In the interior. James James Cook is still on the
- 15:59Speaker 6: team last.
- 15:59Speaker 4: I checked, right, Yeah, I don't know. I didn't see
- 16:01Speaker 4: him last week.
- 16:02Speaker 7: Much.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Oh okay, well, all right, fine, okay, Bills fans, I'm
- 16:06Speaker 3: sure we'll hear from you.
- 16:08Speaker 7: Well, we got spicy Greg today, folks.
- 16:09Speaker 6: It's who you love this one right, uh.

- 16:25Speaker 7: Motion to the right.
- 16:26Speaker 9: On second and eight from the seventeen cale, Williams under
- 16:28Speaker 9: center drags another tenant smike in motion.
- 16:30Speaker 10: Here's the snap of the playfake Williams rolling to his left,
- 16:33Speaker 10: running now fifteen to ten five.
- 16:35Speaker 9: Eight so old tiptoes in touchdown in the blue peg.
- 16:41Speaker 9: Caleb Williams seventeen yards took care of business himself.
- 16:48Speaker 2: The Chicago Bears have won six of their last seven games.
- 16:50Speaker 2: They've got JJ McCarthy and the Vikings who stole one
- 16:53Speaker 2: from Chicago way back in Week one.
- 16:56Speaker 7: Does Caleb get revenge, Cinthia?
- 16:58Speaker 6: Yeah, a whole one point revenge.
- 16:59Speaker 3: I have Chicago winning this game twenty five to twenty four.
- 17:03Speaker 3: I want to maybe I usually avoid saying hard things
- 17:05Speaker 3: on TV, but maybe Ben Johnson is the blitz whisper. Huh.
- 17:09Speaker 6: I nailed it right there there.
- 17:11Speaker 7: It is.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a hard one to say because Caleb's opportunity
- 17:14Speaker 3: against the Blitz this season kind of has the same
- 17:16Speaker 3: trajectory that Jared Goff's had for the Bears, as in,
- 17:20Speaker 3: he's very very good against the Blitz. And there's like
- 17:23Speaker 3: only few things guaranteed in life, right, death taxes, and
- 17:25Speaker 3: Ryan Flora is blitzing you, So you know that's going
- 17:28Speaker 3: to happen, especially if they try to take away the run,
- 17:31Speaker 3: which the Bears have been very strong in the run game,
- 17:34Speaker 3: and so if they try to do that, then it'll
- 17:36Speaker 3: be like Philadelphia style, and what's gonna happen? Caleb Williams
- 17:39Speaker 3: little does pass it right over their heads, but ultimately
- 17:43Speaker 3: he's great against the Blitz. Caleb Williams is doing a
- 17:45Speaker 3: very nice job quarterbacking this team. The Bears are playing
- 17:48Speaker 3: for a play they're looking to try to make the
- 17:50Speaker 3: playoffs here, so they're going to want to get that
- 17:52Speaker 3: one game back against the Vikings.
- 17:54Speaker 7: I agree with you.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I've got a Bears win even more handily twenty one
- 17:58Speaker 2: to seventeen. And yes, they have a plan against the Blitz,
- 18:01Speaker 2: and sometimes when the plan doesn't go round.
- 18:03Speaker 7: It doesn't look right.
- 18:04Speaker 2: And Caleb Willis is back there running around doing a
- 18:06Speaker 2: bunch of different stuff that works out too. The plan
- 18:09Speaker 2: for the Minnesota Vikings, the execution hasn't necessarily been great.
- 18:12Speaker 2: JJ McCarthy had the whole field to throw to, and
- 18:15Speaker 2: he threw to Marlin Humphrey. They're maybe predetermining some throws
- 18:19Speaker 2: and even when he's making the right decisions in this game.
- 18:22Speaker 7: Again, things will get better for JJ McCarthy.
- 18:25Speaker 2: But just like Caleb had to go through those growing pains,
- 18:27Speaker 2: JJ's going through them now. I'll say he's a rookie.
- 18:30Speaker 2: This is his first NFL season. He's a rookie quarterback,
- 18:33Speaker 2: and I think it's.
- 18:34Speaker 7: A rough one here, Greg.
- 18:35Speaker 4: That was where my gut was going to.
- 18:36Speaker 5: And then I got to the meeting today I saw
- 18:40Speaker 5: everyone was picking the Bears. That didn't feel right. The
- 18:42Speaker 5: Vikings are favored. I'm going with the Vikings. I'm going
- 18:45Speaker 5: with maybe my heart more than my head here, let's.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Just scrag it up.
- 18:50Speaker 5: I'm not doing that thing again ever again.
- 18:52Speaker 6: Maybe just one more time.
- 18:54Speaker 5: No, Look, Aaron Jones is running the ball fantastically since
- 18:59Speaker 5: he came off the bike. Sometimes you just got to
- 19:00Speaker 5: use your eyeballs. And JJ McCarthy is very unpredictable, I
- 19:05Speaker 5: will admit it. I do not feel confident in him,
- 19:09Speaker 5: but he has had made some good plays. When I
- 19:12Speaker 5: look at these two teams, there's just more talent on Minnesota,
- 19:15Speaker 5: like Aaron Jones out of the backfield, Aaron Jones as
- 19:18Speaker 5: a runner has looked fantastic, justin Jefferson Jordan Addison. Like
- 19:22Speaker 5: they are a better group overall in terms of the
- 19:24Speaker 5: skill position, talent.
- 19:25Speaker 4: And then we know that the defense.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Is more experienced, I think, more versatile than Chicago. So ultimately,
- 19:31Speaker 5: even though the vibes seem horrendous right now, in Minnesota,
- 19:34Speaker 5: I'm going with the Viking.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Owen would change those vibes because it does seem
- 19:38Speaker 2: to directly correlate.
- 19:41Speaker 8: A Pisco back pitches. Arry go, He's caught twenty ten five.
- 19:50Speaker 8: That's not Miami. Ay Chad have a day. Oh my gosh, Touns.
- 19:58Speaker 8: I don't think you ever. He never got the full
- 20:01Speaker 8: speed on that way.
- 20:02Speaker 7: He didn't need to snooze off.

- 20:32Speaker 7: No Jayden or Scary Terry for Washington.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Miami coming off the big upset over the Bills, who
- 20:37Speaker 2: keeps their playoff dreams alive Cynthia.
- 20:40Speaker 6: By a narrow margin.
- 20:42Speaker 3: The drunk model picks Miami twenty four to twenty three.
- 20:46Speaker 7: Bottle some help.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Every game is so close this week I double triple
- 20:51Speaker 3: quadruple checked it. But I'm looking at this one and
- 20:54Speaker 3: dan Quinn calling the defense does make a difference. Now
- 20:57Speaker 3: doesn't make a difference necessarily against Jalen Wattle. We shall see,
- 21:02Speaker 3: because where has this maners defense been especially vulnerable? Well,
- 21:08Speaker 3: passes in general, deep passes, passes of ten plus air yards,
- 21:12Speaker 3: just basically anything that's a downfield pass, like are you
- 21:15Speaker 3: going to pass the ball? We've got a problem stopping
- 21:18Speaker 3: that in Jalen Waddle, this speed, the route running. This
- 21:21Speaker 3: is a guy who has really helped to a tongue
- 21:23Speaker 3: of Bailoa out quite a bit. I'm thinking in this
- 21:26Speaker 3: game dan Quid will be able to help. But he's
- 21:29Speaker 3: not playing. He's not going to go out there and play.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Maybe maybe he should, you know.
- 21:33Speaker 7: I mean the video we saw in last Bump where
- 21:35Speaker 7: it's like his giant.
- 21:36Speaker 6: Head looking at that was hilarious.
- 21:38Speaker 7: You get him out there, it can make some changes.
- 21:40Speaker 7: I agree.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I've got a ten point win twenty two to twelve,
- 21:42Speaker 2: and I'm glad to be in this position to facilitate
- 21:45Speaker 2: my agenda.
- 21:45Speaker 7: And that's Meetings may be a touch overrated.
- 21:49Speaker 2: When you schedule a meeting, sometimes the schedule is more
- 21:52Speaker 2: important than the meetings.
- 21:53Speaker 7: And I think that's what happened for the Miami Dolphins.
- 21:56Speaker 2: The schedule is a little less itchy right now, and
- 21:58Speaker 2: we're not talking about meetings. We're discussing football. And when
- 22:01Speaker 2: they play football and they get the ball to Davon
- 22:03Speaker 2: a chan thing, go well, he's got four hundred and
- 22:05Speaker 2: eleven yards after the catch this season.
- 22:08Speaker 7: It's a great number. His average depth of target is negative.
- 22:12Speaker 2: He's getting the ball in the backfield on passes and he's.
- 22:15Speaker 7: Still getting a whole bunch of yards. He's carrying the
- 22:17Speaker 7: franchise right now. I think he does it for a win.
- 22:20Speaker 5: Greg There is a path for the Dolphins to get
- 22:24Speaker 5: back at least into the In the Hunt graphic, you
- 22:26Speaker 5: got this game, you got the bye, you got the
- 22:28Speaker 5: Jets and the Saints. I think their defense is playing
- 22:31Speaker 5: better because nobody's watching it lately. On Sunday, we'll all
- 22:34Speaker 5: learn Bradley Chubb. Watch this sack that he had late
- 22:37Speaker 5: in the fourth quarter. He shoves Dion Dawkins off him
- 22:40Speaker 5: with his left hand and then he launches himself through
- 22:44Speaker 5: the air.
- 22:44Speaker 4: This just fired me up watching it, and I thought
- 22:47Speaker 4: this defense.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Is playing with a lot of energy. Pay no attention
- 22:52Speaker 5: to the celebration penalty they gave him after. I don't
- 22:54Speaker 5: care about that. This is a quality left tackle that
- 22:56Speaker 5: he just threw off them. And then Jordan Brooks, I think,
- 22:59Speaker 5: playing like a pro bowler. They're better in the back
- 23:02Speaker 5: end with Mika Fitzpatrick playing slot.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Are eighth in the.
- 23:05Speaker 5: NFL in success rate over the last month. That's a
- 23:08Speaker 5: pretty good sample size of a good defense.

- 23:35Speaker 2: quick picks here on our show, we go to the
- 23:37Speaker 2: Packers and the Giants.
- 23:38Speaker 7: The g Men fired.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Brian Dabole earlier this week, Jackson Dart dealing with an injury.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Jamis Winston has been named the starter. All of that
- 23:46Speaker 2: leading up to Greg Rosencal's pick, which.
- 23:48Speaker 5: Will be It will be the Giants covering that seven points. Okay,
- 23:52Speaker 5: the Packers aren't gonna lose this game. They gotta win.
- 23:54Speaker 5: But Jamis Winston back in the lineup, and you got
- 23:56Speaker 5: the new coach bump in terms of Mike casp you
- 23:59Speaker 5: know I'm at least going Giants to cover. Look, Jamis
- 24:02Speaker 5: Winston has been around for a while and he always
- 24:05Speaker 5: raises the team that he joins for a few weeks,
- 24:08Speaker 5: and then sometimes it gets a little stale.
- 24:10Speaker 4: He's only thirty one years old.
- 24:12Speaker 5: I don't like his situation this week because Darius Slayton's
- 24:15Speaker 5: her obviously, no Malik Neighbors or Scataboo. There's too many
- 24:18Speaker 5: injuries for him to overcome. But I think Jamis plus
- 24:21Speaker 5: the new coach at least they keep it close.
- 24:23Speaker 2: All right, Let's go to the forty nine Ers and
- 24:25Speaker 2: the Cardinals brought party is expected back for the Niners.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Does he get a win in the long awaited returns?
- 24:32Speaker 3: The long national nightmare is over who will be the
- 24:34Speaker 3: starting quarterback for the Niners? Every week it's up until
- 24:37Speaker 3: ninety minutes before the game, And yes, I have a
- 24:39Speaker 3: win for them. Twenty four to twenty two. George Kittle's
- 24:42Speaker 3: impact can't be understated. When he's on the field. What happens, well,
- 24:46Speaker 3: they can play a lot more twelve, they get over
- 24:49Speaker 3: one yard more per rush, and they haven't been great
- 24:52Speaker 3: at rushing so far this season. They're actually much better
- 24:54Speaker 3: in the passing game. And George Kittle in general just
- 24:58Speaker 3: super valuable. So even if he's not lighting it up
- 25:00Speaker 3: for your fantasy team as maybe we had hoped at
- 25:03Speaker 3: the beginning of the season, given everything that's going on,
- 25:07Speaker 3: he is the X factor on this offense, and I
- 25:10Speaker 3: think it's going.
- 25:10Speaker 6: To be very helpful for him against the Cardinals defense.
- 25:13Speaker 2: All Right, we'll keep it going to the Ravens and
- 25:14Speaker 2: the Browns, Baltimore nipping at the Steelers Heels in the
- 25:17Speaker 2: AFC North, and I think they get their fourth straight
- 25:20Speaker 2: win here a score of twenty three to ten.
- 25:22Speaker 7: And you know, my brother did so much for me.
- 25:24Speaker 2: As little brothers, you always want to give back and
- 25:26Speaker 2: shout out to little brother.
- 25:27Speaker 7: For sending over a Looie Gilman in.
- 25:30Speaker 2: The trade to big brother, because the teams have been
- 25:33Speaker 2: a lot better on this Baltimore defense since he arrived.
- 25:37Speaker 2: He got targeted three times against the Minnesota Vikings allowed
- 25:39Speaker 2: no catches played one hundred percent of the snaps. Quality increases,
- 25:44Speaker 2: So yeah, I appreciate your coach Jim for the trades.
- 25:49Speaker 7: Let's take a look at the odds to win the
- 25:51Speaker 7: NFC going into League eleven.
- 25:53Speaker 2: According to our friends at Caesar Sportsbook, it.
- 25:55Speaker 7: Is the Eagles at the top.
- 25:57Speaker 2: We're tied with the Rams, the Lions, Seahawks, and Packers
- 26:01Speaker 2: rounding out the list.
- 26:02Speaker 7: As we get to more or less the.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Four teams with the best odds to win the conference
- 26:08Speaker 2: just so having to be playing each other this weekend. Eagles,
- 26:10Speaker 2: the Lions, Seahawks, and Rams tons of star power.
- 26:13Speaker 7: So let's talk about some props.
- 26:14Speaker 2: For these games as we got the foam fingers out.
- 26:16Speaker 2: So let's begin with the leader in receiving yards in
- 26:20Speaker 2: the National Football League, Jackson Smith and Jig but more
- 26:22Speaker 2: or less than ninety nine yards against.
- 26:24Speaker 3: The way Okay, so we're gonna go with less than
- 26:27Speaker 3: ninety nine, but he scores a touchdown. My reasoning for
- 26:31Speaker 3: this one is about slowing the pace down, run the
- 26:35Speaker 3: football more, rely on a bit more balance so that
- 26:38Speaker 3: you can control the narrative a bit more. You don't
- 26:41Speaker 3: really want to give Matthew Stafford a bunch of opportunities
- 26:43Speaker 3: to come back against you. So it's just about pace,
- 26:46Speaker 3: it's not about anything.
- 26:47Speaker 6: To do with him.
- 26:48Speaker 3: He scores a touchdown, just a slightly lower than one
- 26:52Speaker 3: hundred for senior yards.
- 26:53Speaker 7: All right, let's go to Greg Roosevelt.
- 26:54Speaker 2: We'll Pooka Nakula have more or less than seven catches
- 26:58Speaker 2: on Sunday.
- 26:58Speaker 7: It's a lot.
- 26:59Speaker 4: If I've learned one thing covering the NFL, it's that.
- 27:01Speaker 5: Pooka Nakula rules. He's going over seven and a half receptions.
- 27:05Speaker 5: He was high volume early in the season. I know
- 27:07Speaker 5: he's been battling some injuries over the last few weeks,
- 27:11Speaker 5: but he looked great last week. And look, I don't
- 27:13Speaker 5: think the Seahawks are going to give up much deep
- 27:16Speaker 5: down the field, so I think it's gonna be a
- 27:18Speaker 5: lot of the shorter routes to Pooka Nakoula. And yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 5: Davante Adams is great, but he's a little banged up
- 27:23Speaker 5: this week. And ultimately, when it's winning time, it's Puka time.
- 27:26Speaker 7: It's going to Jamiir Gibbs, who's We've had a lot
- 27:29Speaker 7: of Gibbs time this season. He went off last week
- 27:31Speaker 7: for one hundred and forty two yards two scores.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Does he go over sixty two yards against the Philadelphia Eagles. Yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 2: it's sixty two yards for Jamiir Gibbs. I think he
- 27:39Speaker 2: will discussed his success, the explosiveness. Look at this game
- 27:44Speaker 2: against the Tampa.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Bay sixty two plus right there.
- 27:47Speaker 7: It happens right there.
- 27:48Speaker 2: There was there was a time where the longest rush
- 27:51Speaker 2: for Jamiir Gibbs was was.
- 27:52Speaker 7: Fiend Family from Cynthia Freelis on this show. And yeah,
- 27:56Speaker 7: I think he'll have a big one. He'll have the opportunity.
- 27:58Speaker 7: And as Greg pointed out, maybe he's not playing as
- 28:00Speaker 7: many passing down plays.
- 28:03Speaker 2: But cards are there for the Eagles, Lions, Rams, Seahawks
- 28:07Speaker 2: all very likely to be in the playoffs coming up.
- 28:10Speaker 3: No red teams. Isn't that funny There were no red
- 28:13Speaker 3: teams on that graphic.
- 28:14Speaker 2: It's interesting. Pay attention, folks, taking note. Another team that's
- 28:18Speaker 2: making a push for January, the Bolts.
- 28:22Speaker 8: They rushed for Herbert FROs.
- 28:24Speaker 9: Cat touchdown Chargers Lad mcconckey sixteen yards on what DJ
- 28:32Speaker 9: you called.
- 28:33Speaker 7: It, the cuttings.
- 28:34Speaker 8: Everything's going to the outside, just got to give a
- 28:36Speaker 8: couple of hard steps and you're gonna be able to
- 28:38Speaker 8: win in the middle of the field.
- 28:40Speaker 7: And he was wide opened.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It's sounding from the Reid presented by Microsoft co Pilot.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Microsoft co Pilot, your AI companion for NFL Game Day
- 28:48Speaker 2: and every Day, we asked which matchup would decide the
- 28:51Speaker 2: Chargers Jags game, and co Pilot highlighted the Jags running
- 28:54Speaker 2: backs against the Chargers linebackers and run defense. ETN had
- 28:58Speaker 2: only eighty eight rushing yards on the ground last week.
- 29:02Speaker 2: If Jacksonville can't establish the run, might be tough sledding
- 29:04Speaker 2: for the Jags offense.
- 29:06Speaker 7: So that's co Pilot's view. Let's talk more about this
- 29:10Speaker 7: matchup down in Duval.
- 29:11Speaker 2: As Liam Goldman say, the Chargers have won three in
- 29:13Speaker 2: a row, Jacksonburne coming off an epic collapse against the Titans.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Could this be a trap game? For excuse me, they
- 29:21Speaker 2: lost to the Houston Texans. For the folks in Los Angeles, I.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Mean, I get what's a trap game some days?
- 29:28Speaker 4: Draguars have a winning record this year, so I don't
- 29:30Speaker 4: think they can be trapped.
- 29:32Speaker 3: I don't know what a trap game is, but why
- 29:34Speaker 3: I do have the Chargers winning twenty three to twenty one.
- 29:38Speaker 3: What I'm looking at this game, I just want to
- 29:40Speaker 3: give a little love to Justin Herbert. Why because the
- 29:43Speaker 3: poor man has been getting clobbered. He's gotten hit more
- 29:46Speaker 3: than anyone else, and yet he is still dealing.
- 29:50Speaker 6: He's delivering deep passes.
- 29:52Speaker 3: This is a pass first offense, something we did not
- 29:55Speaker 3: think we would be talking about when it comes to
- 29:57Speaker 3: a Jim Harbaugh offense.
- 29:59Speaker 6: But just look at all these different ways.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I mean, the man has been doing this with like
- 30:03Speaker 3: all of the pre sure in the world coming against him,
- 30:06Speaker 3: and he's still delivering.
- 30:07Speaker 6: So I just want to give a little bit of
- 30:09Speaker 6: love where love is due.
- 30:10Speaker 3: And you know, I've talked a lot about how this
- 30:12Speaker 3: old line can be improved. But Justin Herbert he's dealing
- 30:16Speaker 3: with it. He's being He's very.
- 30:17Speaker 6: Mature that one.
- 30:18Speaker 5: He is making it work without a lot of help.
- 30:22Speaker 4: That's something that should put him in the conversation the MVY.
- 30:26Speaker 3: What conversation for trap get I was the conversation game?
- 30:29Speaker 5: You know what could I be help his case in
- 30:32Speaker 5: the How about a last second drive against a defense
- 30:36Speaker 5: that is making a habit of giving up last second
- 30:39Speaker 5: drives to much lesser quarterbacks. Remember back in Week two
- 30:42Speaker 5: when Jake Browning went down the field with a chance
- 30:46Speaker 5: to win the game and stole a win. How about
- 30:51Speaker 5: Gino Smith? Oh, you might say, oh the Raiders lost
- 30:53Speaker 5: that game. Well, they needed touchdowns on their last three drives,
- 30:56Speaker 5: and they got touchdowns on their last three drives. The
- 30:58Speaker 5: Jaguars couldn't get a single stop late. And then last week, Oh,
- 31:02Speaker 5: it's the Coup of grad It's one of the best
- 31:04Speaker 5: games of the entire season. It was twenty six to
- 31:06Speaker 5: nothing in the fourth quarter. All the Jags got to
- 31:10Speaker 5: do is stop Davis Mills once. They couldn't stop him
- 31:12Speaker 5: one time, and he gets in by a neck.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Let's go. I think the Chargers can beat the Jaguars.
- 31:19Speaker 7: Yeah, I agree.
- 31:20Speaker 2: We are all aboard, So folks down there and duvall
- 31:24Speaker 2: hit us up. This is a meme alert. I've got
- 31:26Speaker 2: a three point Chargers win twenty three to twenty. Because
- 31:29Speaker 2: the passing game in Jacksonville is not so hot right now.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence has struggled against zone coverage this season. He's
- 31:37Speaker 2: got the second lowest completion percentage against zone and also
- 31:40Speaker 2: he's only one of only three qualified quarterbacks who has
- 31:44Speaker 2: not thrown a touchdown number one against split safety coverage.
- 31:49Speaker 2: There was a struggle, but everybody struggles against the Houston
- 31:52Speaker 2: Texans and their defense.
- 31:54Speaker 7: I want to see how that Chargers team that really got.
- 31:56Speaker 2: After Aaron Rodgers last week goes up against tred We
- 31:59Speaker 2: are all on the Chargers and coming up what a
- 32:02Speaker 2: forty year old been like. There's a joking there somewhere
- 32:06Speaker 2: nineties hip hop Craft beer, which is I guess some
- 32:10Speaker 2: people like that in fast.
- 32:11Speaker 7: Cars, but not these old guys. These guys love slinging touchdowns.
- 32:15Speaker 2: We're talking Rogers against Flacco the old man bow, which
- 32:19Speaker 2: is weird.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Because I'm older than both of them. Coming up next
- 32:22Speaker 7: here on games.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Name and I don't like Kraft beer or carres like nineties.
- 32:33Speaker 9: Forty year old Joe Flacco ready to take on forty
- 32:37Speaker 9: one year old Aaron Rodgers.
- 32:39Speaker 7: Rogers fires out to you a talk on treld Crazy
- 32:43Speaker 7: the West Sideline.
- 32:44Speaker 10: I want to fly sixty eight yards Rogers with the
- 32:48Speaker 10: lead magics.
- 32:49Speaker 7: Flacco throws a fade and it is call and going
- 32:53Speaker 7: into a slide. His T Higgins money Mack is ready.
- 32:57Speaker 7: They can't get his up in God the Bengals have
- 33:02Speaker 7: a two point lead with seven seconds left on Laclown.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Rogers heard any launches it into the end zone and
- 33:10Speaker 7: it broken up. Did complete half the Bengals half knocked
- 33:16Speaker 7: out the Steelers on Thursday.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Night, It's Not for Once Ahead presented by Credit One Bank.
- 33:23Speaker 7: That Week seven game was an as they were seven.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Passing touchdowns between Rogers and Flaco. Big rematch Sunday. Who
- 33:31Speaker 2: gets a win or something?
- 33:32Speaker 3: Well, I think it's only fair if they split the series,
- 33:35Speaker 3: So I have Pittsburgh winning twenty five to twenty three is.
- 33:37Speaker 6: Just what the model picked. The five points is kind
- 33:40Speaker 6: of crazy to me. But I want to talk about
- 33:41Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers because.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Last week against the you know, Chargers, it was he
- 33:46Speaker 3: did look a little maybe a little tired, like not
- 33:49Speaker 3: necessarily like what we're used to seeing from him.
- 33:52Speaker 6: When you shut your eyes and think Aaron Rodgers.
- 33:54Speaker 3: But one way to knock off the rest is to
- 33:57Speaker 3: play the Bengals. And when you're looking at the opportunity
- 34:01Speaker 3: to just absolutely sling it will start to see good form.
- 34:05Speaker 6: This will be a question, is Aaron Rodgers back?
- 34:07Speaker 4: Is Okay?
- 34:07Speaker 3: Guys, it's gonna matter. It's gonna matter you know it's
- 34:10Speaker 3: it's okay if he's not Aaron Rodgers of you know,
- 34:13Speaker 3: several years ago in every single game. But I think
- 34:15Speaker 3: we see a good version of him and Joe Flacco.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Yeah, a significantly better version because the opponent is kind
- 34:21Speaker 2: of struggling on defense. I have a thirty to twenty
- 34:24Speaker 2: eight win for the Pittsburgh Steelers here because, as Greg
- 34:27Speaker 2: ross All pointed out a couple of years ago, if
- 34:29Speaker 2: you get the ball to Jalen Warren, Yep, good things happen.
- 34:32Speaker 4: That's right.
- 34:33Speaker 7: Here's one thing.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Tackle.
- 34:35Speaker 2: When Jalen Warren gets the ball, thirty one percent of
- 34:38Speaker 2: the time he forces a mistackle somewhere. What better opportunity
- 34:42Speaker 2: for him to force miss tackle than against the Cincinnati
- 34:45Speaker 2: Bengals defense, who are doing it at a generational clips
- 34:48Speaker 2: in this generation.
- 34:49Speaker 6: To force it or are they just gonna let him
- 34:51Speaker 6: run it?
- 34:53Speaker 4: He just saw it happen, I'm understand.
- 34:55Speaker 6: But are they even gonna try to force it?
- 34:57Speaker 7: Maybe we'll see.
- 34:58Speaker 2: We'll see what al Gold squad has has in store
- 35:00Speaker 2: for Jalen Warren and the Steelers are maybe just anybody
- 35:03Speaker 2: who has football is moving in a general direction opposite
- 35:06Speaker 2: to them.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Greg right, Usually coming off the bye week, it's like,
- 35:09Speaker 5: oh Andy Rito cook some good stuff up in the lab.
- 35:11Speaker 5: I actually think the opposite happens for the Bengals. They're
- 35:13Speaker 5: worse coming out of the by They have worse ideas.
- 35:16Speaker 5: The Steelers win this game by ten the second time around.
- 35:19Speaker 5: It was a great story. He was one of the
- 35:21Speaker 5: games of the year. Flacco having that night like it
- 35:23Speaker 5: never happens again two times. And why it won't happen
- 35:26Speaker 5: for Flacco in this game is because of the Jimmy's
- 35:29Speaker 5: and the Joe's upfront, or more specifically, the Tjs and
- 35:33Speaker 5: the Nates.
- 35:34Speaker 4: And the Alexes and the Cams.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Those are some of the pass rushers for this Steelers
- 35:40Speaker 5: team that I just think are a mismatch for this
- 35:43Speaker 5: pass rush and Joe Flacco, if you look at his
- 35:45Speaker 5: numbers against pressure this year, is one of the worst
- 35:48Speaker 5: two or three quarterbacks in the league. He's just been
- 35:50Speaker 5: able to avoid it. I don't think he can avoid
- 35:52Speaker 5: it this week.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I got closest to the sixty plus points that we
- 35:55Speaker 2: got the last time they played.
- 35:57Speaker 7: We don't think they're gonna get that close.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Vegas still thinks the game is going to be high scoring.
- 36:00Speaker 2: The second highest total of the week.
- 36:04Speaker 7: The highest totals leader right now the Dallas Cowboys at
- 36:08Speaker 7: the Las Vegas Raiders, ahead of the Bengals, Steelers for Denis, Cardinals, Seahawks,
- 36:13Speaker 7: and Rams.
- 36:14Speaker 2: But yeah, the Bengals after the buyer back on this
- 36:16Speaker 2: graphic where they belong.
- 36:18Speaker 7: As we get to some quick picks.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Here on Game Day View, the Cowboys and Raiders Monday night.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Dallas traded for Quinn and Williams last week.
- 36:25Speaker 7: How's this one?
- 36:26Speaker 3: Doesn't? I think we see more than the points total
- 36:29Speaker 3: that we saw projected there. I have twenty seven to
- 36:32Speaker 3: twenty four in favor of the Cowboys in this one.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I want to talk about Cede Lamb because Dak Prescott
- 36:38Speaker 3: has just been dealing and we have documented it pretty
- 36:40Speaker 3: much every single week on this show. But don't forget
- 36:44Speaker 3: fantasy players. This is going to be a big CD
- 36:46Speaker 3: Lamb week. Why because this is the opportunity against a
- 36:49Speaker 3: secondary that is very generous to opposing wide receivers to
- 36:53Speaker 3: not have Dak have to make these tight window catches.
- 36:56Speaker 6: So there'll be some more space for CD to work with.
- 36:58Speaker 3: So that's an even better opportunity to not just catch it,
- 37:01Speaker 3: but catch and run which is what Ceedee Lamb does best.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Go to the Falcons and the Panthers. Atlanta has lost
- 37:07Speaker 2: four in a row, both teams looking forward spark what
- 37:10Speaker 2: happens to him.
- 37:10Speaker 5: Third, I have the Falcons winning this game by six.
- 37:12Speaker 5: I think their defense is the best unit in this game,
- 37:15Speaker 5: and that's ultimately why it's twenty three to seventeen. But
- 37:18Speaker 5: I want to talk about the quarterbacks in this game.
- 37:20Speaker 5: You know, quarterback development is not linear, and I think
- 37:23Speaker 5: we're at a big moment for both Michael Pennox and
- 37:25Speaker 5: Bryce Young. You remember, after Bryce Young was benched last season,
- 37:29Speaker 5: played much better, aggressive down the stretch.
- 37:31Speaker 4: I think the last couple of weeks.
- 37:33Speaker 5: Have been the toughest performances for him individually that I've
- 37:37Speaker 5: seen out of him for a while. Michael Pennox right
- 37:39Speaker 5: now really struggling against man coverage and opposing defenses are
- 37:43Speaker 5: figuring out what he can't do. So young quarterbacks are
- 37:46Speaker 5: gonna go up and they're going to go down. I
- 37:47Speaker 5: think they're both at critical moment. Bryce Young potentially to
- 37:52Speaker 5: ensure that he is the guy there next year, and
- 37:54Speaker 5: then Michael Pennox, I think he wants to show development
- 37:57Speaker 5: within this season and kind of improve on some of
- 37:59Speaker 5: his weaknesses, especially against man coverage.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Long term implications there in that one. Let's go to
- 38:05Speaker 2: the Texans and the Titans, another divisional matchup. Houston pulled
- 38:08Speaker 2: off a comeback for the Ages last week against the Jags,
- 38:10Speaker 2: and I think they win here without necessarily needing to
- 38:12Speaker 2: come from behind eighteen to sixteen. And I would like
- 38:15Speaker 2: to issue an apology to one Davis Mills, who I doubted,
- 38:20Speaker 2: but he's got the second fastest time to.
- 38:22Speaker 7: Throw this season.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Defense maybe with an opportunity to get after him not
- 38:27Speaker 2: a problem for Davis Mills, especially late against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 38:31Speaker 7: So yeah, Greg was right, I was wrong.
- 38:33Speaker 4: May this David meaningless hail Mary?
- 38:35Speaker 5: That helped Nico Collins fantasy owners whine their games.
- 38:39Speaker 7: Yeah, but that helped get over to that was a.
- 38:42Speaker 5: Dime they were There was like five dimes in this game.
- 38:44Speaker 5: This is a very nice past two here to assaults
- 38:46Speaker 5: on a third line. They don't win the game without that.
- 38:49Speaker 5: That starts that game winning drive.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah, you can pick out any of those players late
- 38:53Speaker 2: in the game, but the slot of green Grass throwing
- 38:56Speaker 2: too or rough one for the defense when come back
- 38:58Speaker 2: It's time to write this down, and we have been
- 39:01Speaker 2: on fire lately, the whole squad three and oh, Greg
- 39:06Speaker 2: and I have been flawless for nearly a month. Some
- 39:08Speaker 2: of our favorite player props of.
- 39:10Speaker 7: The week are coming up next right here on game debut.
- 39:13Speaker 7: Stick around.
- 39:14Speaker 11: You do not want to miss it, like the fenders
- 39:16Speaker 11: have been missing them.
- 39:26Speaker 7: It is time for write this down.
- 39:28Speaker 2: As we got some prop predictions for a week eleven.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Greg Rosenthal crushed last week with this Davis Mills passing prop,
- 39:35Speaker 2: so considering that kick us off.
- 39:38Speaker 5: Though I've hit four straight of these, I might be
- 39:41Speaker 5: losing to Cynthia and Patrick by a lot, but I'm
- 39:43Speaker 5: nailing these.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 39:44Speaker 5: It's gonna all end for Joe Flacco the storybook season.
- 39:48Speaker 5: What I'm ending it here, I hate it to go
- 39:50Speaker 5: under two hundred and fifty eight yards. I just mean
- 39:52Speaker 5: he's not gonna have a great game. I just mean
- 39:55Speaker 5: it's been a fairy tale. And at some point I
- 39:58Speaker 5: think talent matters, and I don't think the Bengals offensive
- 40:01Speaker 5: line is very good, and I do think the Steelers
- 40:03Speaker 5: are in every other composition sometimes and this week their
- 40:06Speaker 5: defense dominates this game and the Bengals ultimately aren't getting
- 40:10Speaker 5: those ws to matter for when Joe Burrow does come
- 40:13Speaker 5: back on Thanksgiving.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Today, does write this downcount double after Thanksgiving? How are
- 40:16Speaker 3: we going to We're going to figure this out anyways,
- 40:18Speaker 3: But mine is that brock Bowers is going to score
- 40:21Speaker 3: a touchdown on Monday Night against the Cowboys. Quentin Williams
- 40:24Speaker 3: may have been added to the roster, but the secondary
- 40:28Speaker 3: still has a bunch of issues. And when they play
- 40:30Speaker 3: twelve personnel will things go well for brock Bowers.
- 40:34Speaker 6: We also saw.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Against the Jags he was able to get into the
- 40:36Speaker 3: endzone three times. The defense does have problems still, I
- 40:40Speaker 3: think brock Bowers capitalizes on them.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I am going to go to the receiving game where
- 40:45Speaker 2: a Mecca Abuka will have over sixty two receiving yards
- 40:48Speaker 2: against the Buffalo Bills. You look back this season on
- 40:52Speaker 2: what the opposing number one has done against Buffalo. Big
- 40:56Speaker 2: back to the Saint Flowers in Week one going for
- 40:58Speaker 2: one hundred and forty two Jalen Waddle a couple of
- 41:01Speaker 2: weeks ago getting eighty four yards.
- 41:03Speaker 7: And a touchdown.
- 41:04Speaker 2: I think the matchup leads towards Abuka playing well like
- 41:08Speaker 2: he wasn't started the season when he was completely healthy.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Thank you for spending time with us here on game debut.
- 41:13Speaker 2: We're going to sort out what actually matters in terms
- 41:16Speaker 2: of our season long picks for Cynthia Freeman and Greg Rosenthal.
- 41:19Speaker 2: I'm back with Claybond. We'll see you coming up next week.
