- 0:08Hello everyone and welcome along to another episode
- 0:11of The Psychic Explorer. I hope you're well.
- 0:14Well today is another guest episode and today
- 0:17I have my lovely friend Hailey Cosion. She has
- 0:21agreed to come on and she'll be talking about
- 0:24her journey. The reason I've asked Hailey on
- 0:28is because the topic we're going to be talking
- 0:31about has been bothering me for a while now.
- 0:35Do you remember back in the very, very early
- 0:39episodes of this podcast, I was explaining to
- 0:43you that I went on the spiritual awareness course,
- 0:46which developed into the first circle I ever
- 0:49went to. In those classes, in those development
- 0:53circles, there were two individuals who were
- 0:57in attendance. They had lost a loved one in really
- 1:00tragic circumstances just a couple of months
- 1:03before we lost mum actually. So we were there
- 1:06at a similar sort of time during our grief. I
- 1:10was very aware of the reasons I was there. I
- 1:13went in almost very secretive. I was very quiet.
- 1:16I didn't let anything slide. I didn't tell anyone
- 1:19anything about any of my experience or my grief
- 1:23journey. But these two individuals were very
- 1:25different. They were giving us the nitty -gritty.
- 1:30They were telling us things that... In my opinion,
- 1:36they shouldn't have been telling us this stuff
- 1:38because this stuff that they were telling us
- 1:40could have been really fantastic evidence for
- 1:43us to bring through. But because they were telling
- 1:46us it, it meant that we could no longer bring
- 1:48it through during readings. When we had readings
- 1:50with them, it was really difficult, it was really
- 1:52hard, because how do I know what I was telling
- 1:56them was something that I was feeling? Or was
- 2:00it something subconscious? I knew this information
- 2:03about that loved one. So I was bringing it through
- 2:05that way. And that's what I mean about the validation.
- 2:08I was there to get the validation. I didn't want
- 2:10to tell anyone anything about my situation because
- 2:13I wanted it to be a genuine experience, not a
- 2:17fed experience. As the weeks and months progressed,
- 2:23for me at least, it soon became apparent that
- 2:26as lovely as these people were and as grief -stricken
- 2:30as they were and my heart bled for them. It appeared
- 2:35to me that they were treating this more as grief
- 2:38counseling. For me that felt really uncomfortable,
- 2:42not only because I didn't necessarily need that
- 2:46at that time and that's what I felt like it was
- 2:48turning into, but more because it was... But
- 2:55more because, and as I sit here actually, this
- 2:59is now dawning on me more and this is why I love
- 3:01doing this because talking into the ether, talking
- 3:04to you guys triggers things within me that makes
- 3:06me realise why I feel things or why I act the
- 3:09way I do sometimes. But it made me realise, I
- 3:13guess subconsciously, that the way that I was
- 3:16perceiving them was not how I wanted other people
- 3:20to perceive me. I didn't want people being sorry
- 3:25for me thinking that, oh, he's lost his marbles,
- 3:29he's going to this group because he needs to
- 3:32get over the grief of his mum. The things I was
- 3:36feeling to me were real, 100 % real. But sitting
- 3:42in this circle, I hate myself for saying this
- 3:46because it sounds really judgmental and there
- 3:48is judgment there, I know there is. But it really
- 3:51made me feel like it was devaluing my experience,
- 3:56I suppose. Now, don't get me wrong. I am 100
- 4:01% aware of how this all sounds. The spiritual
- 4:06community should be based on trust, love in a
- 4:11judgement -free zone. And I've really questioned
- 4:13myself as to whether or not I should raise this.
- 4:18But... The whole ethos of this podcast is my
- 4:22journey through this, my truthful journey and
- 4:26that means what and all. It is not something
- 4:31I'm proud of that I thought this way when I went
- 4:34to this spiritual group because again I'll say
- 4:37again there were lovely people, really really
- 4:39lovely, but I just felt that they were using
- 4:42this as a grief counseling session rather than
- 4:47a development circle. And it didn't sit right
- 4:50with me. And I don't want to sound like, oh,
- 4:52circles should be exclusive. But I spoke about
- 4:56this with Nicola in her episode. So this is something
- 5:00that I have been thinking about a lot, actually,
- 5:04since I started this journey. about is it right
- 5:07to say that this journey is okay for some people
- 5:10but not others if you're in this situation but
- 5:13not that situation and that also feels equally
- 5:18as wrong to me so whenever i think about the
- 5:21situation i do feel conflicted because there
- 5:24should be compassion these people have just lost
- 5:26a loved one but at the same time is this the
- 5:31right environment for you to be in and i yeah
- 5:35All I can tell you is that my gut was saying
- 5:37no. So when I moved on to a different circle
- 5:41and I met Hayley, I didn't know her situation
- 5:44at all. I didn't know anything about her. And
- 5:47we've worked with each other a couple of times
- 5:49and we've read for one another and it's all gone
- 5:52well. And a few months ago, Hayley said to me
- 5:57just in passing, oh, I came to this through grief,
- 5:59through losing my father. I thought if I joined
- 6:02a development circle, I would be able to connect
- 6:06with my father and I thought oh interesting okay
- 6:11so there's someone here who has clearly started
- 6:16going to development circle through grief because
- 6:19they want to either start or maintain a connection
- 6:23with their father and I wonder how that fits
- 6:26in with how I felt about those other two individuals
- 6:30in my other circle so I invited Hayley on and
- 6:33I'm so glad that she said yes because she's been
- 6:37able to explain her situation and she's been
- 6:41able to map out her journey as to how her grief
- 6:45brought her to development and how her development
- 6:49has taken her through her grief and moreover
- 6:52how her development has allowed her to recognize
- 6:56how her abilities can help other people. So I'm
- 7:00so glad that I did pursue this topic because,
- 7:03like I said, I was in two minds as to whether
- 7:05or not I should talk about it because I didn't
- 7:07want to be perceived as that judgmental little
- 7:09bitch. Because, you know, love, light and rainbows
- 7:15and all that. And actually, sometimes in this
- 7:17spiritual world, that's not the case. There is
- 7:20a lot of judgment involved and sometimes that
- 7:23judgment can come from within our community,
- 7:27not just from outside of it. and I wanted to
- 7:30confront that not only for myself but also I
- 7:32thought well if I feel this way then maybe other
- 7:35people do as well. So I am so grateful that Hedy
- 7:39took the time to come on. I really hope you find
- 7:42her words interesting. I know I did and I know
- 7:46that she was able to change my opinion on this
- 7:49topic and I'm very grateful to her for doing
- 7:52that. So here she is my lovely friend Hedy Cosse
- 7:55as we talk Comedianship and Grief. Hayley Cossey
- 8:13is a developing medium, a Reiki therapist and
- 8:17an oracle card reader. She runs her business
- 8:19Healing To Be Karma where she works with clients
- 8:21and helps them towards inner harmony and well
- 8:24-being through balancing a body, mind and spirit.
- 8:27After suffering the death of her father, Hayley
- 8:30was set down the long path of grief. Along this
- 8:33journey, Hayley discovered pain, reflection,
- 8:36healing, and growth and to discuss how her grief
- 8:39led her to mediumship together with the inevitable
- 8:42pitfalls of loss. Hayley has joined me on today's
- 8:45episode of The Psychic Explorer. Welcome Hayley,
- 8:48how are you? Thank you very much Matt, I am very
- 8:52well and very excited to do this episode with
- 8:54you. We know each other from Circle, and as I
- 8:58said to people on a previous episode, it really
- 9:01feels like I'm rinsing Circle for all it's got.
- 9:04When I first started thinking about interviewing
- 9:07different people, I thought, I'm really going
- 9:08to have to cast my net far and wide here. But
- 9:11actually, there's so much knowledge within my
- 9:14immediate circle, it's incredible. So thank you
- 9:16for agreeing to come on. That's okay. And as
- 9:19I said, I'm excited to share the journey because
- 9:23by doing this work, you've actually made me realise
- 9:26how much healing I've actually done and how far
- 9:29I've come. So thank you for that. Absolutely
- 9:33no need at all. But I'll take it. So let's get
- 9:40to it then. So I've already touched upon the
- 9:43loss of your father, but would you be able to
- 9:45take us back? How did your journey into mediumship
- 9:49begin? Well, my journey into mediumship started
- 9:53with, as you said, the very sad loss of my dad.
- 9:56He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October
- 9:592020 and he passed in May 21. So it all happened
- 10:05relatively quickly and I was left feeling so
- 10:08much pain, hurt and confusion. I remember saying
- 10:12to mum, you know, it would be so nice. to be
- 10:17able to speak with dad or just have a connection
- 10:21with dad and I don't even really know where that
- 10:24came from but a few days later mum said to me
- 10:28well there's a mediumship evening happening at
- 10:31the local pub and that was where dad drank so
- 10:36we decided to go along and see whether he came
- 10:40through and I was thinking I've got this feeling
- 10:45he's gonna come through because it was his local
- 10:47pub, he felt comfortable there and just something
- 10:51inside me said, yes, do it. So we went along
- 10:55and it was absolutely amazing. Dad came through
- 10:59and he didn't believe in any of this woo woo
- 11:03stuff and he would say, no, I don't believe in
- 11:06any of that. And his message was that he was
- 11:10coming through to let me know that he was trying
- 11:13to communicate with me. And the idea of being
- 11:17able to communicate with him was wonderful, because
- 11:20it's something that I'd spoken with Mum about.
- 11:23And so I got really, really excited, but didn't
- 11:27have a clue how to even go about or start the
- 11:31process. Well, if by magic, the first sign came.
- 11:36An advert on social media was posted asking for
- 11:40people to join a development circle. It took
- 11:43me three weeks though to pluck up the courage
- 11:46to ring the number. Each day that passed I had
- 11:50this little voice saying to me, you haven't called
- 11:53the lady yet, you haven't done it, you must do
- 11:56it tomorrow. And as the days went on, I got this
- 12:02pull towards just reaching out and ringing the
- 12:07number. And as soon as I made that call and arranged
- 12:11the day to go, the voice literally went, but
- 12:16the parting words were, job done. And it was
- 12:21like I ticked his box and off he toddled. So
- 12:25that was really my first step into mediumship.
- 12:29You said a minute ago that you heard this voice
- 12:33within you say, do it, do it, call the number.
- 12:36I wonder, do you recognize that voice now as
- 12:40the same voice that you can feel here when you're
- 12:43channeling your mediumship or your psychic work?
- 12:46Yes. Yeah. Very much so. And I think also I've
- 12:54always believed in the spirit world. And I've
- 13:00always thought that there must be more than just
- 13:03we live this life, we die and there's nothing
- 13:07else. I've never believed that. And I think this
- 13:11is why my dad came because he knew that I had
- 13:17the ability because as a child, I would always
- 13:20be talking to myself and I'd always be hearing
- 13:23a little voice and it would tend to be in my
- 13:26right ear. And I would go into these full -on
- 13:30conversations with people. And I remember mum
- 13:36and dad always getting really mad at me for always
- 13:40talking to myself. And they'd be like, who are
- 13:42you talking to? What? What are you doing? And
- 13:44I used to feel really silly and go, no one. And
- 13:49it was me just feeling that because they couldn't
- 13:55see and because they couldn't hear, that they
- 13:58wouldn't understand. But now, following this
- 14:02path, I understand that I was communicating with
- 14:06spirit. And I think my dad, when passing, had
- 14:11realised that and that's why he'd come. Isn't
- 14:15it interesting how we look back and we recognise
- 14:18those feelings, those sensations? Almost like
- 14:22I felt it back then but I just swept under the
- 14:24carpet. You said that you always believed in
- 14:29some sort of life after death and that when you
- 14:32were a kid you were having these conversations
- 14:34with spirit or this imaginary friend or whatever
- 14:37it is that you felt it was at that time. Yeah.
- 14:42How about your relationship to mediumship, psychic
- 14:45work or spirituality? Did you have any connection
- 14:48to that before the passing of your dad? No, not
- 14:52at all. I mean, obviously I had my childhood
- 14:54experience, but I lost that when I was, I suppose
- 14:58I had it for a short time between the ages of
- 15:00four to six. And then because I was constantly
- 15:04told often and told that, you know, for goodness
- 15:07sake, just behave yourself. So I felt silly and
- 15:13I felt a bit shamed. I kind of was like pushing
- 15:18it away saying please don't come because I'm
- 15:20getting told off you know I'm not being a good
- 15:22girl and that's when I shut down and it didn't
- 15:28really come back until I had one other experience
- 15:33before dad's passing. A former boyfriend his
- 15:38dad had passed on when he was very very young
- 15:40and one night I happened to wake up and I could
- 15:44see this gentleman's face in the wall and I knew
- 15:49by photos of him in the lounge it was him and
- 15:53the next morning I said to my boyfriend you know
- 15:56I saw your dad last night and he wasn't fazed
- 15:59by it he went oh yeah dad's about yeah he's always
- 16:01about and I was like oh right okay and I felt
- 16:08quite privileged that I've been able to see that
- 16:11vision. And it didn't scare me. It was just,
- 16:18oh, I was inquisitive, but not enough to really
- 16:22open the gates. It really took my father's passing
- 16:25for the gates to really open and for me to seek.
- 16:32You've said two things about your mum, and it's
- 16:35almost like the two opposites, because when you
- 16:37were younger, when you were a kid, Your mum and
- 16:39your dad said to you to stop talking to those
- 16:42voices or to stop talking to them. But then after
- 16:45your dad died, it was your mum that suggested
- 16:47that you go to this mediumship evening. How did
- 16:51your friends and close family react when you
- 16:54decided to pursue this path? To be honest, I've
- 16:57been very lucky with my family and friends that
- 17:00they've been very supportive and they've been
- 17:02interested in how... the messages come through,
- 17:07what the messages are that are coming through
- 17:10and yes, you're right. My mum has found great
- 17:14comfort in having my dad come through and being
- 17:19able to talk with her and just giving her the
- 17:23comfort that he is always around her and that's
- 17:27enabled her to heal and to grow and move on.
- 17:33Yeah, I think there's been a bit more of an understanding
- 17:37on mum's part to what the spiritual world actually
- 17:42is because it's relevant because she's lost her
- 17:46husband who was her world. Listeners will know
- 17:50that when I was in that situation I knew that
- 17:53something was going on but I was also very aware
- 17:56that I was going through really raw grief. and
- 17:59that my mind and body were potentially in protection
- 18:02mode. Did any of that ever go through your mind
- 18:05or were you certain that you were being pulled
- 18:09towards this journey of spirituality and mediumship?
- 18:15Yeah, no, I definitely do feel that I was being
- 18:18pulled towards it because I think I was being
- 18:22guided by Dad. He was showing me the sign to
- 18:26follow it. and the more I was following the signs,
- 18:31the more it was pulling me and I felt like I
- 18:35was making the right decision and in some way
- 18:40my soul began to open up and I feel it's what
- 18:45was needed for me because I feel like I've come
- 18:50home. I feel so much love and support and encouragement
- 18:58that I love being in the space where I can connect.
- 19:06This was back in 2021, which means that you've
- 19:10been involved in this, you've been developing
- 19:12for a number of years now. As you've been exploring
- 19:16this world over the past few years, I wonder,
- 19:20could you tell me how has your perspective changed?
- 19:23How has it shifted? As I started to communicate
- 19:27with loved ones, I realised that as much as I
- 19:29was healing from their passing, they also come
- 19:33through with some tough love at times, which
- 19:35I haven't always been ready to hear. However,
- 19:38a few days on and I can always see it's come
- 19:41from a good place and it's for my highest good.
- 19:44I've also come to realise that they too still
- 19:48need to do their own healing once they have transitioned.
- 19:51So it's made me realise that they... still are
- 19:56of their same personality and character and they
- 20:01are who they were here. It's just that they're
- 20:04not in their physical body here on the earth
- 20:09plane. And that's what I've come to realise and
- 20:12that's how my perspective has changed is actually,
- 20:17yes, they're not here in their human form, but
- 20:19they've not actually gone anywhere. So are you
- 20:23saying that before this all opened up to you,
- 20:27you had this idea of heaven or whatever it might
- 20:30have been, and it was them and us. It was very
- 20:33separate. They're in one place and we're here,
- 20:37and it's almost as if they were incommunicado.
- 20:40But now you feel they are more present. They're
- 20:43always around us. Absolutely. You've hit the
- 20:46nail on the head. I just thought that once you
- 20:49were... gone up to heaven, that was it. Communication
- 20:53stopped and they were no longer. Their soul went
- 20:57up and that was it. We had no way of contacting
- 21:00them. So yes, completely my perception has changed.
- 21:05How has that helped you go forward? I feel sitting
- 21:09in circle has helped me massively as it may not
- 21:13be a message from my loved one but it's a message
- 21:17that I've given to somebody and it's resonated
- 21:21with me and all of a sudden I've had that da
- 21:24-da moment and I think I needed to hear that
- 21:27too which has helped me then to hear another
- 21:29part of myself and also I think it is a big thing
- 21:33about trust because we don't have to understand
- 21:37the message we're giving it's for the person
- 21:40receiving the message to understand and as long
- 21:45as you get that yes, that confirmation, then
- 21:49it's doing its job and it's healing the person
- 21:51that needs that healing from their loved one.
- 21:54The question I was going to ask you, Hayley,
- 21:57you've sort of answered it already. It was going
- 21:58to be about Circle and your grief process. I
- 22:02mean this next question with love and respect
- 22:05because I do think of you fondly, Hayley, and
- 22:08I don't want to upset anyone. But were you originally
- 22:11going to Circle to get messages from your father
- 22:15to try and connect with him that way or to develop
- 22:18any psychic ability that you felt that you might
- 22:21already have? Truthfully and honestly, I was
- 22:26going there to receive the messages from my father
- 22:32to enable me to heal and to try and work out
- 22:39this confusion of what I had and where that sat
- 22:43with me. But as the weeks progressed, and it
- 22:48was very quick actually, I realised that I wanted
- 22:55to be able to bring through other people's loved
- 22:59ones and hear the messages for them and to be
- 23:03able to give comfort and healing and love to
- 23:08those people so yeah my motive for going was
- 23:15purely to get communication with my dad but very
- 23:19quickly it became something that really made
- 23:24my soul sing when I was able to give a message
- 23:29to somebody that they needed to hear from their
- 23:35loved one. It was a brilliant experience. Just
- 23:52to remind everyone that you can find me on Instagram,
- 23:55Facebook and threads, the .psychic .explorer.
- 24:00It really helps other people find this podcast
- 24:03if you like and subscribe. So if you haven't
- 24:06already, you'd be doing me a massive favour by
- 24:09getting this podcast out just a little bit further
- 24:11by liking and subscribing. Apparently it really
- 24:15helps the algorithm, so I'd be very, very grateful.
- 24:34But enough of the social media admin, let's get
- 24:38back to the lovely Hayley Cossey as we talk a
- 24:41bit more about mediumship and grief. Coming from
- 24:48a place of someone who has been, someone who
- 24:51is grieving because grieving never really goes
- 24:53away. And now someone who is developing to become
- 24:57a medium to give people their sitters loving
- 25:01messages. If someone's listening to this and
- 25:04they are grieving and they are thinking of reaching
- 25:06out to a medium, what would you want them to
- 25:09know? I would say you're thinking about going
- 25:12to see a medium. You need to go with an open
- 25:15mind, an open heart and I would say talk to your
- 25:22loved one that you want to bring through. Encourage
- 25:25them to come and communicate with you because
- 25:30the more you can raise your vibration and be
- 25:35excited for them to come they will find it easier
- 25:40to connect and the easier they find it to connect
- 25:44the stronger and clearer your messages are going
- 25:47to be from your loved one. So I would definitely
- 25:51say open mind and a big open heart. How has your
- 25:57experience with grief shaped the way that you
- 26:00work? And actually thinking about your Reiki
- 26:03and your Oracle reading work as well, how do
- 26:07you think your grief has affected or shaped your
- 26:10spiritual practice? I definitely have a lot more
- 26:14empathy and kindness towards people since I've
- 26:18gone through the grieving process. and I want
- 26:22people to know that their loved ones are always
- 26:25nearby and around them. I also believe that by
- 26:30communicating with our loved ones that they are
- 26:35giving us the strength and the healing so that
- 26:38we can move on and carry on with our lives and
- 26:43personally I found that having the Reiki has
- 26:48allowed me to open up my chakra system and delve
- 26:54deep into the pain, the hurt, the trauma that
- 27:03was caused to me and really deal with it on that
- 27:08deep level that I can say I've let a lot go and
- 27:13I'm not holding on to all of those pains anymore
- 27:18and I am grateful to have been given the opportunity
- 27:25to experience the Reiki, learning how to meditate
- 27:30because that's another big thing for me is meditation
- 27:34is quieting my mind, sitting in the stillness
- 27:38for that time for me to love myself but also
- 27:42for those little gems to just slip in and you
- 27:46go, thank you very much. I think it's beautiful
- 27:50what you're saying about grief I mean I know
- 27:53it's sad and it has to happen this way sometimes
- 27:55where we have one massive hit of grief but sometimes
- 28:00working through that allows us to work through
- 28:03all the mini griefs that we've had in our life
- 28:05and I don't mean mini as if they don't mean anything
- 28:08because if they all do they all accumulate and
- 28:10they all compound we walk through life we collect
- 28:13these stones we put these stones into our backpack
- 28:16These stones, these issues, these traumas, this
- 28:20grief, it gets added into the backpack and weighs
- 28:23us down. And sometimes it's not until the loss
- 28:26of a parent, which can shake that backpack empty,
- 28:29an experience like that can make you realise
- 28:32that life is short and that sometimes it's not
- 28:34worth hanging on to these things. These things
- 28:37that we have inherited sometimes, these things
- 28:39that we have taken on board throughout our life.
- 28:42Absolutely, and I think that is where Reiki really
- 28:47helps is because it gives you the time to go
- 28:51into a deep relaxed state and for you to shed
- 28:56what is no longer serving you and it really does
- 29:00go to that deeper level and I always come away
- 29:04feeling so much calmer, clearer minded and ready
- 29:10to face the next stage of my life. Now that you
- 29:17do this work, do you find that you do it because
- 29:19you want to continue the connection to your father?
- 29:22By practicing your connection, it obviously improves
- 29:25and it gets stronger. Or do you find that doing
- 29:28this allows you to delve into you more, to understand
- 29:31you? Or is it a combination of the two? No, I
- 29:35definitely feel there's a mixture of the two.
- 29:37My intention when this very first started was
- 29:41to heal from my father's death but actually what
- 29:45has unfolded is the most amazing self -discovery.
- 29:51It's stripping myself back to how I was created
- 29:58to be. So I have lived a life where I have always
- 30:03tried to fit in and tried to mold myself to be
- 30:09liked and sometimes loved. But now, following
- 30:18the path that I'm on, I realize that I was made
- 30:25to be the way I am and I am here to be who I
- 30:33am and live authentically. And who I am is a
- 30:36caring, nurturing, kind, compassionate person
- 30:39that wants to use the skills and the gifts and
- 30:44the talents that I've been given to help other
- 30:48people to learn to grow and live authentically
- 30:54in their own skin. And that's where my journey
- 30:59is taking me. How wonderful that you're able
- 31:03to get, and I suppose this goes for everyone
- 31:05who does mediumship, but how wonderful that you're
- 31:08able to get that communication and you're able
- 31:11to help other people. You're not only filling
- 31:13your own cup, but you're filling other people's.
- 31:16That's really lovely. It is. It's so rewarding
- 31:20and fulfilling. And I think that if you... feel
- 31:24that you have the gift as we all know we've all
- 31:28got the psychic gift but I guess it's do you
- 31:33have the courage and the confidence to step out
- 31:35of your comfort zone and what I would say to
- 31:38people is is that if you do have this burning
- 31:41desire to seek more give it a go step out because
- 31:46it's taken us out of our comfort zones but I
- 31:50know from working with you It's given us so much
- 31:55joy and we're following, I guess, our purpose.
- 32:00Hayley, what you have said has clarified things
- 32:03in my mind and actually when I cast my mind back
- 32:07to these two people at my first circle, I feel
- 32:12really guilty because I felt like I was judging
- 32:15them and I didn't know why I was judging them.
- 32:17I just knew that I felt uncomfortable because
- 32:19I knew what I was going there, but I couldn't
- 32:22figure out why they were there. Actually, that's
- 32:26a me issue. That's not my judgment to have. And
- 32:30talking to you today has really made me realize
- 32:32that actually, it's just not my business. I'm
- 32:36on my journey, they're on theirs, and it's just
- 32:40not my business. So I really want to thank you
- 32:42for healing me in a way. Before I love you and
- 32:46leave you though, just one more question. What
- 32:49has been your biggest challenge walking along
- 32:51this path since your grief began? I feel going
- 32:55through the grieving process is one of the hardest,
- 32:59toughest things I've ever had to do. But walking
- 33:03this path, it's actually changed my life completely.
- 33:09I've found a community of like -minded people
- 33:13that have supported and encouraged me and I feel
- 33:16so blessed and truly grateful to have found the
- 33:22community that I've walked into because there
- 33:26is so much sadness within you that you can't
- 33:32see the wood from the trees but as soon as you
- 33:35enter into our space you feel the love, you feel
- 33:39the kindness so I really I can only sing the
- 33:44praises of the group and the people that are
- 33:49around me and supported me. And I thank them
- 33:52for that. One supplementary extra question for
- 33:56you, Hayley. When you first stepped into Circle,
- 34:00how did that make you feel? How are you feeling?
- 34:02Because you're saying that you are now supported,
- 34:04you feel supported by the people around you,
- 34:07whether that be friends, family, and I presume
- 34:09people in the Circle too. I wonder, how did you
- 34:13feel? stepping into that space. I was really
- 34:17nervous, I was worried and even though I knew
- 34:22deep down this was the right decision that I
- 34:26was making, it was pushing me far outside my
- 34:30comfort zone that I'd ever been before and it
- 34:35was I guess me getting comfortable with feeling
- 34:39uncomfortable and also learning that there was
- 34:44no one there to judge me or to make fun of me.
- 34:49We were all there for our own reasons and for
- 34:53our own healing. Absolutely. Hayley, where can
- 34:58people find you? You can find me at www .healingtobecome
- 35:04.com and please I'd love to hear from you and
- 35:08to help you along your healing journey too. Wonderful,
- 35:12Hayley. Thank you so, so much for this evening.
- 35:15It's just been wonderful. And thank you very
- 35:18much, Matt, for inviting me onto your show. It's
- 35:21been lovely to talk to you. It is my absolute
- 35:24pleasure, Hayley. You take care of yourself.
- 35:27Bye. Hayley Cossey everyone wasn't she absolutely
- 35:46marvelous and I don't think she'll mind me saying
- 35:49but she was quite nervous about doing that and
- 35:52I know that it took a lot for her to do it so
- 35:55I want to honestly I know I said this before
- 35:58but a heartfelt thank you to Hayley and a massive
- 36:01well done for doing it and it takes a lot of
- 36:05guts to say yes when I ask someone to come onto
- 36:10here, especially if they have no experience of
- 36:13it previously. And I just want to take this opportunity
- 36:16to say thank you to all my guests who have come
- 36:19on this year. It really is not an easy thing.
- 36:23You know, I prepare these questions and yes,
- 36:25I send these questions out to people so that
- 36:27they can prepare beforehand. I am not a monster,
- 36:31but... It is still difficult. It is still not
- 36:35an easy thing. It's not a natural thing to be
- 36:38recorded while I ask people these questions.
- 36:42And I just want to recognize... everyone who
- 36:45has been on to the Psychic Explorer this year.
- 36:48As we wrap up the end of this year, we're very
- 36:51near the end of 2025. I can't quite believe I'm
- 36:54saying that, especially as I am recording this
- 36:56in the end of May. So if all goes according to
- 36:59plan and the scheduling is correct, then this
- 37:02should be going in about November. But we'll
- 37:05see how this goes. Again, just a massive thank
- 37:08you to everyone who's been on. Hayley. said some
- 37:13really heartfelt things in her episode, I felt,
- 37:16and I felt as well. It was really brave of her
- 37:19to be so vulnerable and to be so honest. The
- 37:22germ of this episode for me, I was very conscious
- 37:26that I wanted to tackle it, but I didn't want
- 37:28to tackle it in a judgmental way. I didn't want
- 37:30to tackle it in a way that made people feel like
- 37:33they shouldn't be going to so -called or that
- 37:36this wasn't for them if they were. themselves
- 37:40going through the throes of grief and I hope
- 37:44I have achieved that I hope I have achieved that
- 37:46balance of asking the question genuinely but
- 37:49also holding the space for people's vulnerability
- 37:52and where they are and as I say Haley's explanations
- 37:56Haley's answers has really changed my thought
- 38:00processes about how and where grief holds a place
- 38:04within spiritual development I'm not gonna waffle
- 38:09on too much more about this because I've already
- 38:12said all I need to say on this matter and more
- 38:15to the point Hayley has said all that needs to
- 38:17be said on this matter. So I will wrap it up
- 38:20here but before I go usually the end of these
- 38:23episodes which tend to be a bit heavier or at
- 38:25least have the potential to trigger people. At
- 38:28the end of the outro music I normally put some
- 38:30helpline information on. I'm going to do that
