- 0:00SPEAKER_02: But a quick question.
- 0:01SPEAKER_02: So you had Robert the doll, you have Annabelle, the two most famous dolls out there.
- 0:05SPEAKER_02: Um 20 years ago, that's all you heard of, besides Chucky.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Oh Peggy, Peggy, and Peggy.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: Who the hell's Peggy?
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Peggy the doll is the one the Peggy the doll is the one that lives inside Zach Begin's museum.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Um those three are the most media known.
- 0:20SPEAKER_02: Okay, so you have three dolls out there 20 years ago.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: Why they craze now?
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: Did all these spirits say Annabelle's getting all attention, let me go attach myself to a doll?
- 0:31SPEAKER_02: Or is it because we created it?
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: No, it's a lot of it is is we created, you know, because again, entities and spirits are one thing, but we can also create energy to be housed.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: So a lot of the trauma stuff um can go into like we were talking about residual-wise, it can create a haunting.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Um but what we can also create energy to a point where and there's other beliefs on another side of of all these studies and people trying to figure it out, but like when we step into the realm of like egregores, those are spiritual entities that are earthbound and formed through emotion.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: And so when we put so much belief into them or so much of a certain emotion into them, it gives them power.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: And so us, I will say after meeting Annabelle, us watching the movies and people believing the movies aspect versus the real life aspect that's still them putting belief into Annabelle and that's energy that you know she gains because people go in there with that pre-determined decision of what she is, and so it feeds her and it creates it feeds, and and that goes for anything, you know, an object, doll, any entity attached to a haunting, you know, you feed them by giving them so much power over what they actually are.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: I would agree on that.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: Um so I don't watch scary movies.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: I don't know anything about Annabelle.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: I don't know anything about that Robert doll, besides what my friends have told me when they've gone there.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Um I don't really um, excuse my language, fuck with messed up little objects like that.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah, I have a lot of haunted dolls, but I don't know why it's a craze now.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Um, the whole reason why I have them is because my cousin thought it would be cool to paint dolls and have them at our table and just have creepy dolls.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: And I told her it's a terrible idea.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: The dolls that she brought to my house don't want to makeover, they don't want to be ugly.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: And I was like, they do seem like they have energy or whatever with them.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: And I just was picking up on regular spirits off of them, and I told her not to do it.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: She decided she was gonna do it anyway, and she just had a lot of bad luck and a lot of weird stuff happened to her, and she decided she was like, she left all these dolls at my house, and I was like, dude, what do you want me to do?
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: All the all these dolls, da-da-da.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: She's like, I don't care what you do with them.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: So I mean, I just had was having I was bored and I just put some cat balls up around them, and I was just playing with them, and they were really active, and um, that's kind of where it went from there.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: And once people saw that I had haunted dolls, they just started giving them to me.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Like this one guy, his wife died, and he's like, she had all these damn dolls, and I hated them.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: And he had like four or five boxes packed full of dolls.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: He gave them all to me.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: And I would say almost all of them to me felt like they had things with them.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: And Shu has a couple of them.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: I don't really think I have any more left from that batch, but it's kind of just like a never-ending thing now.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Like I just get them handed to me.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I do go to the thrift store sometimes and I do pick them up, and my girls pick them up.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: And if we think that there's something with them, I mean we get them.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: So we bring them home and we figure it out, and that's where we go from there.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: But I don't know what the craze is now.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: I totally understand what you're saying.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Hopefully, it is just a trend and it will pass, you know, like the TikTok dances and stuff.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Like hopefully it will just go away.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: But I mean, I don't know.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: I do think that sometimes our energy can go into those things, like Chu said, and you can make haunted objects.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: But hopefully I answered all the questions or topic that you had over that question.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: You actually uh reminded me that I didn't answer that portion of his question, which was what's the craze of it?
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And I I will add on to yours is I, you know, I don't know how big the craze is or how long it'll last.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: I think it's a trend that will be trending, no matter how big of the trend the trend is.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: But I think a lot of it is, you know, thrill seekers.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: A lot of people are seeking thrill because they watch all these movies, these TV shows, these you know, books, whatever the case, and it feeds into that horror aspect.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: And so people get that thrill and they want to recreate that real lifetime rather than and I would say those are for the people that are serious about it.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: The people that are non-serious about it, I think that they're just looking for a money grab.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: But I think a lot of the the craze about haunted dolls is a lot of what we consume entertainment-wise.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Um I think it's a look too, you know, like some people who are like if you're a spooky girl, you have a spooky object or a doll or something, and it just makes their pictures look cooler.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Um it gives them likes and views, but not from Ryan.
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: Uh so yeah.
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: So he truly saved himself a little bit at the end there.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: So but yes, I think it's majority, it's all BS.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: Why do they people do it?
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Because it's freaking cool.
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: That's the only reason why.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: That's why majorities people do it.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: I don't care because you go on Facebook, you can't scroll more than halfway down your page.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: I need five more account followers ahead of a thousand.
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: Who the F cares?
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: Okay, put some content out there, and you'll get the followers.
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: It's simple.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Okay, be authentic.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: Stop using Haunted Haven's name.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: Oh, oh, oh, oh, taunted souls now.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: So we're gonna go with that.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: So no, I mean no, I mean it is the cool thing to do.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: Everybody follows everybody else.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'll I'll say as a serious person, it is a cool thing to do, but it's a lot of fun, but you know, I am also very serious about it.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: I don't I'm not trying to like you said, put the content out, and it goes for anything you do in life is put the work in, you'll see the results.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: Or it's just easier to ask for her work, you know.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: You know, that's I believe majority of people out there are just on a trend.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: And it's disrespectful to the dolls that are haunted.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: Personally, I don't just agree with you.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: Did you see that?
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: She touched the candle.
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: She hasn't done this the whole time until we first started.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Then when you started talking, she quit.
- 7:06SPEAKER_02: But yeah, I mean it's disrespectful.
- 7:08SPEAKER_02: So let's talk about haunted dolls a little bit too.
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: Sorry, Stephanie.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: Because this turned to a little educational program for myself here.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: But all right, so you got haunted dolls, a lot of people like bringing trigger objects into a location.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: I know Stephanie, you bring her fair and all that, and there's a difference between using it as a trigger object or and just actually bringing another spirit into a place.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so Carmilla here, she kind of goes everywhere.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: Um, she had I honestly gave her a break for a while because I could just tell she was just like tired of going places, like the same old places, because you know, we do events, so we do reoccurring things, and I knew she was kind of getting burnt out from it.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Um, so I gave her a break, but she always goes to Ferrar, usually.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Um, the people in the airport TSA probably think I'm insane when they see a doll head popping out the back of my backpack and stuff, but I think they're used to it now at this point.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: Um, so I mean she goes everywhere.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Um, her hair is all messed up, and that's just because the spirit inside of her likes to travel.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: She likes to go meet and do other like she goes to the school, and I'm telling you, the dolls love her in the doll room.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: Other spirits when I'm not there, other spirits when I'm not there, Anna will text me, the manager.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: She's on my pictures and videos.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: Um, she will text me and be like, she'll screenshot me things, or just like, oh, they're talking about Carmilla under Estes.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: And these are people who have never been to the school, never done Estes, and they don't know who the hell Carmilla is, but once they say her name, um, Anna knows exactly who they're talking about because she comes so frequently.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: But like I said, I don't put Lucy on camera.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: She doesn't like it.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: That's the hundred something-year-old doll.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: Um, there are just several of them that don't, and I don't, I don't take all of them places because yeah, they don't need to go everywhere.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: I have my personal collection that stays just in my bedroom or in the glass case, and then I have all the ones that are for sale down in the basement where we normally do our TikTok lives and things.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I mean, it is just out of respect.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: And their majority of them are human.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: I hopefully don't have any non-human dolls.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: But um, and if I do, they can just stay quiet the way they are right now.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I I just I treat all spirits, um, any location that I go to like a normal human being, which um is probably why I get a lot of activity, not trying to brag or anything, but I mean, we were just at ISS and we had two new people that were brand new into the paranormal.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: And I just started from the get-go of how I investigate, taught them everything that I do.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: And I said, you can take this and use it as your own.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: But if you do this and you get respect on their level, they will interact with you.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: Just don't ask them to go touch the red light, go over there, touch the purple light.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: Like, who the hell wants to do that?
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: Nobody wants to talk to you when you're doing that stuff and demanding things in their home and you haven't even introduced yourself.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: So I put a little ball at the top of the steps because we knew we had children's spirits around.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: And I said, if you knock that ball over, you can keep the ball.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: And I put all these cat balls out and I said, any ball you knock over, I'll leave the blue ball for you because it was a really cool blue ball.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: And I use it all like that's just something that we, it's like a trigger object.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: My light just flickered.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Um, I put the ball at the top of the steps.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: And um, me and another guest in Oakley, my daughter, we went all went outside and I left Anna and the two guests in the room with my other daughter, Penny.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: And we come back in just three minutes later and they were freaking out.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: The ball went flying off the freaking steps at them because these ladies listened to everything that I had taught them and they genuinely treated the spirits like even I always tell people, even if you can't see them, just pretend you can, even if you have no sensibility in your body, look in the corner and just act like they're in the corner, even if you don't, because they're grasping the concept that you are respectful, even if you can't see them.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: No, my issue with people bringing certain dolls in, they do it for the wrong reasons.
- 11:14SPEAKER_02: I mean your doll interacts with other spirits, and you know it interacts, but for you to take another spirit into a location, I don't think is right.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: Some people are like, well, I'm gonna bring this doll in because it has a spirit attached.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: This is my house, and you're gonna bring someone else in.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: No.
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: Especially that spirit can stay.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: Like, cool, like found other ghosts I can talk to now or own, you know, become superior over.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: Now you're creating a haunting that shouldn't have been there.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: You paid to go to these places to get the stories and the memories of the spirits there.
- 11:55SPEAKER_02: So why you bring another spirit in?
- 11:59SPEAKER_02: That's my issue with and like you said, Stephanie, like you always bring that one and it's it interacts with the other ones.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: You bring it home, you've done it dozens of times.
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: Cool, but there's people that would just bring this same thing every single location.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: I I think it's wrong.
- 12:18SPEAKER_02: I think it's disrespectful to the spirits you're gonna go see.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: I think so too.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: I think so too.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: I do I have always asked like Carmilla, like, do you want to go here?
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: Um, one time we went to Malvern Manor, and that place is rough.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: It's scary as hell, even for me.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: And as soon as we walked into the location, I looked at her and I was like, Do you want to be in here?
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: And if you don't, let me know.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: And that freaking flashlight turned on immediately.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: She did not want to be in there, and I put her right back out in the car.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: But I do get what you're saying.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: Like, there are places that I don't take her.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: There are definitely places that I don't take her because I do think it's disrespectful.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Um, and there are some places that she shouldn't be because of um her nationality.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: I don't think that she would belong in certain places, which you should obviously know about, you know, your personal doll that you have that you are showing respect for.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: Um Carmilla is like supposedly 20, 21 years old, and she's cool as hell.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: She's um she's Hispanic and she's feisty and she doesn't give a shit, and she'll let you know.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Some people say that they can see her a teardrop coming out of her eyes sometime.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: Brent Fair is terrified of her when I bring her to Fairfield.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: Um, but um, yeah, I totally understand what you're saying.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: Um, there are definitely places that I don't take her, but there are places that I do always take her.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: And like I said, she lets me know if she needs a break.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: And um yeah, that's how I feel about that.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: I do agree that there's history to places and that you should like I've never, I don't think I've ever taken her to a place that I haven't been first.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: Like I take her after the fact that I've been there or you know, get the vibe of the place.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't want no demon messing with her.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: So you know what I'm saying?
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: I yeah, I've been in a circumstance, I'm not gonna name drop or location drop, but I've been in a circumstance where I've met somebody else that was investigating the same place as us, um, and they were finishing up for us to do the next day.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: And you know, I've seen them do something disrespectful of taking an item in there as a trigger trigger object, and it wasn't even a haunted object, you know.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: I I I agree with the aspect of, and I can see your point of going into somewhere, taking uh another spirit into somebody else's home.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Like I get that aspect, and I I do agree, but I also have a flip side on that as well.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: But um, but I've met some, you know, I've seen circumstances where people take things on in to cause a trigger, and I'm like, cool, like I get that you have a trigger, and that is a trigger, but that's not necessarily always gonna be a good trigger.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: That might be a very disrespectful trigger, you know.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: Let's for me, it's more of a let's use our common sense here kind of idea.
- 15:04SPEAKER_01: So I will say one thing, I guess it all revolves back to what your intentions are for investigating overall.
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: Like all of us are on the same level, we're all on the same mutual level of respect going into locations, but some people are out to talk to negative things, some people want to stir the pot, some people want those reactions, and that's what they're there for, especially you know, at Ferrar, we have people come in and immediately want to go to the boiler room and talk to the thing in the boiler room.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: And I'm sorry, you can run a private because as a tour guide, we're talking to none of that, and um, we only believe in love and light around here, so um, you can book a private so I know when you come, and then we will cleanse the place after you leave.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, I think it just goes down to what your intentions are for investigating overall.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And that's what I'm saying, you know, use your best judgment because, like, again, I met people and we've exchanged contacts and like we've been in contact.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: They asked us how we how it went at that same location.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: They were amazed by what we got compared to what they got.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: And I'm in my head, I never said it back to them, but in my head, I'm like, you probably didn't get anything because they felt disrespected because of how you wanted to trigger it.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: And but going into like, would do I or would I take a haunted object into another place?
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: I kind of agree with Steph.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: I would probably fill it out first before I decide to take anything into a into a location.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: Um, I would want to go in there with my team, you know, do our thing without a haunted item.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Maybe the next time, if I'm like, cool, this place works, we can bring a haunted.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: We don't have a single haunted item that likes investigating.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: If we did, that would be a topic I could talk about more, but we don't have that.
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: But I would use my best judgment, you know, common sense of respect levels, and also um the simple fact of I do think it's okay, but like Steph said, it's the intention you're going in with.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, definitely.
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: So everybody out there that like Steph said, it's your intention, like Chewy said, intention.
- 17:11SPEAKER_02: If you want to go in a place and act like an asshole and be disrespectful to the spirits, that group's kind of lucky, they got nothing.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: They could have got something much worse.
- 17:21SPEAKER_02: You know, be careful what you wish for, okay, because it does not just stay with you there.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: I've seen that attitude, travel home with people.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: Maybe the spirits have not traveled with them, but something I can't say that word, mind, you know, them pretty bad where it was weeks till they got out of it.
- 17:43SPEAKER_01: So and I was gonna say, you know, most of the time you don't even know until something happens, and then it's like, oh shit, you know, yeah.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: I have I know exactly what you're saying.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: I don't even like to use the D word, you know, because it just puts energy into those things that I have experienced.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Like it literally, I'm telling you, you come to the you come to the Pra school and Anna and I are working, we will tell you anything negative that comes up through Estes, Spirit Talker, any device, we just ignore it.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: We say they're just being silly and uh we just don't interact with that.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: And like I said, uh Anna will flat out tell you, and um you will get a private if you want to do something like that because none of us are gonna be around it.
- 18:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I actually had that happen at the last investigation I did with uh ghost sister um doing Estus.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: There's kind of a I don't think it was a D word, just an ass, but I wasn't giving him the power.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: Exactly, kept it kept coming over, and I'm listening.
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: I never even said it on camera because I don't want to give it the power.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: I will kill you.
- 18:48SPEAKER_02: And said it three times, I will kill you.
- 18:51SPEAKER_02: And I'm just like, yeah, I ain't playing this shit, dude.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Like, and I usually just like I even turn Estes off.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: I will literally cleanse the SB7, all the equipment.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: I do not play, I have been through things that I don't want to go through again because of other people's negligence, and I'm just not about it.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: It's not fun, I don't like it.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: I'm not putting my family through it, it's not happening.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: I will say, I will say, I'm I'm glad to hear your guys's uh, you know, aspects on it because you guys sound very on the same page.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: I will say we don't just go, my team and me don't just do experience, you know.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: We we are in there also to study and and uh research.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: So we do the flip side, you know.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Granted, there are boundaries, there's things I will never do because I'm like again, respect it goes into that respect level, or just using common sense of okay, that's too much.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: Um, like I will never do anything ritualistic.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Um, sure, I'll play a Ouija board or whatever, but I won't do like a summoning ritual or anything like that.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Blood sacrifice, I don't do none of that.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Um, but we do push the boundary a little bit to a good contention line because we are doing the research, because that is the goal of my team and mine and myself, is you know, we want to understand and be able to explain and educate and not just educate ourselves, but educate others who want to know more about it or don't understand it and should know more about it if they're gonna be in there.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: And so we do push boundaries a little bit, my team and I, but we do have a boundary line as well of like obviously if something says it three times, like you said in your experience, okay, it's it's time to like take a break.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Let's let's step away.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: But like and I tell my team this all the time, especially when we get new objects and when we go to new locations that we've never been, is sure, because we definitely push the boundaries a little bit because we want to understand and we want to see what's the extent, like not full extent, but a little extension of it.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Um if you're gonna push on something like that, and and you've guys already heard me say the D word earlier because I throw it around loosely because I don't invoke that fear feeling towards it because of my experience and study into it, and that's just because you know, I think there's a lot of misconception on on the word itself.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: Um, but that that's my own opinion on that.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: But I tell them if you're gonna push on something like that, or anything in general, and push a boundary, just know however hard you push, they're gonna push back twice, if not more, as hard.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: So everybody who joined the D word means dolls.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, dolls, okay, cool.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: I thought we were talking about the other D word demoni.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: I was like, wait, hold on.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: We are, he's messing with you.
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, oh I'm today.
- 21:45SPEAKER_02: No, I mean that was good when you got me.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: You know, in my mind, and I spoke softly after that.
- 21:51SPEAKER_02: You know, I did not quit that Estes.
- 21:53SPEAKER_02: And I just said, Hey, dude, do you want to step up?
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: Step up.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: Like if you're a physical form, let's go.
- 21:59SPEAKER_02: Now I will.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: Push boundaries to get answers.
- 22:02SPEAKER_02: You know, we had one guy coming out saying a whole bunch of stuff, and I will push him a little bit.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: I'm just trying to get answers.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: I'm not trying not to make him angry.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: I'm just trying to agree.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: Kind of just like do a little okay, interrogation.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: Let's go do um I guess it depends on the situation for me.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Because like sometimes I do push the things but button in the boiler.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: And I'm his wife now.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, not not the neighbor.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: We have a cranky guy down there.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: So now I'm his wife, and that's when he comes up, I'm like, oh, this is my husband.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: So um yeah, I do mess with them a little bit.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: Some people have work husbands, Stephanie has work or ghost husbands.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, we we've pushed boundaries and like we've gotten to the point.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: You have to come and meet him.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: We've put boundaries and got to the points like we've we've been in circumstances like at Hill House where we've received a scratch on camera, and the scratch was so deep that it welted, it drew blood, and it was just the craziest thing.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: And at that point, it was like we continued the investigation, but and pushed, but I felt as the because I do also edit all of our content.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: Um, I felt after watching the scratch, okay, cool.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: That's a good endpoint for viewers because everything that happened after that was just even more escalated to the point where we were all like, okay, we're done.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: Now I am weird about what I edit.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: I mean, if you go through my Facebook, you barely see anything I've ever investigated.
- 23:32SPEAKER_02: Honestly, I will listen to an hour and a half, get five EVPs out of a recording, delete it.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: That's my editing.
- 23:41SPEAKER_02: I got it for me.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: It was a cool experience.
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: Let's move on.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: You know, I'm there for the spirits.
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: So I get that.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: That's why I don't I don't have a YouTube, you know.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: Um, people we record and they post it.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: I have my TikTok, it's fun, it's funny.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Um, that's just what we like to do.
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: But I completely agree with you.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: I think that the best experiences happen off camera, and you're very lucky if you do get it on camera, just like that ball flying off the freaking ledges for them.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: And the things that I've experienced, there's no proof a lot of it.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: It's all just, you know, telling a story.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: And I guess if you don't know the paranormal, then it's you're never gonna believe.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: And even if you have been through the paranormal, sometimes the stories are so crazy that you don't even want to tell it because that person's not gonna believe you anyway.
- 24:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, I'll tell a story, I don't have an issue with it.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: Even if I had it, I mean, it's it's cool.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Like I still video camera stuff, but again, I think it and this is not anybody who puts evidence out there, right?
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: Like watching, I like watching them, you know, whatever.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: But it's a respect thing for me.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: I'm there for the spirit.
- 24:50SPEAKER_02: I got my footage, it's gone.
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: Now I'm a little different.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: I'm on YouTube, I'm on TikTok, I'm on I think Instagram and Facebook, but I have a podcast.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: So I have a business, you know.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: I do different exactly, and for us, our market is is literally social media, is our market for our business because we are a business as well now.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: Um, we just received our our business license and everything from the state, so it's I'm so over the moon about that.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: But uh, but um, but yeah, every to everyone, like it's a different, it's whatever you're in there for, you know.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Obviously, we're all in there to get the experience for ourselves and try to get answers for ourselves.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: Um, but anything past that is is different for every person, you know.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: Just because I throw everything on YouTube doesn't mean you're going to or Steph's going to, or you know what I mean?
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: Like it everybody's different in that aspect.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: So I don't think like I feel like a lot of people watch and they think like the paranormal, you go looking for it, it's gonna happen.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: You gotta post it on YouTube.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: And then in my head, I'm like, no, actually, and here's the insight for you know, whatever viewers are out there listening, and I think all of us will agree on this.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: Just because you go looking for the paranormal doesn't mean they're gonna respond.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: The average paranormal investigation that's eight hours long, it may look fancy on YouTube videos or on content videos, but reality is we have to cut a lot of stuff to get you that because majority of that time is waiting, it's literal patience, and you may or may not get anything, and and that's that's the truth about it.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: People think going on investigation is like terrifying when nine times out of ten, it's just you and your friends sitting in the dark cracking jokes about my light just flickered about whatever stories you're telling.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, we'll talk about our pets, we'll talk, we just we just talk about just normal things, that's what we do, and that's when we get the spirits to interact.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: I I expect nothing when I go into locations.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: Same.
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: Um, sure, we going back to you, you posting your stuff, but also you posting your stuff could help me on my investigation to get more answers because we never we always have more answers.
- 27:00SPEAKER_02: We always come or more questions.
- 27:02SPEAKER_02: Sorry, we always come with more questions than answers.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: So if I watch yours and go to the same location, I already have those answers and more questions from what I watched from you.
- 27:11SPEAKER_02: So now I can go.
- 27:12SPEAKER_02: I'm like step two, I'm going in more, you know.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it helps us progress together, right?
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: And and then on on top of it, too, like I'm also a consumer, so I'll watch other people's videos for that same reason.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: But a lot of it too is like, okay, I know what our tactics are, what are your tactics?
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Because let me try those, you know what I mean?
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: So it it elevates the investigators' experience and ability to go out there and try to get evidence because now we're working as a team and we're not separated, and that's the goal at the end of the day.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: Because if you're really an investigator and you're really into this, no matter your reason of why, the goal is to figure out the phenomena, you know.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: So, and I see a lot of divides here and there.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: I know we're newer to the paranormal field, but I see and I've been noticing, you know, divides here and there between certain groups of people or whatever that are in the field.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: But at the end of the day, in my head, I'm like, okay, well, for us, it's we're all one community because we have to figure this out together.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: Because again, that word professional ghost hunter or that term professional ghost hunter comes into play.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: For me, there's no such thing as a professional because if there was, we would have figured this out already.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: But because we're still seeking answers, that means sure we do this full time.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: We're we're all about it and we're we're professional in the sense of aspect, but we're not professional ghost hunters.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: You know, we're we're we're like the scientists trying to figure it out still.
