Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to a DM podcast.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Hey, dribblers. So this is pretending because we're not really
- 0:07Speaker 2: here where we're having a little bit of a break
- 0:09Speaker 2: at the moment, but we have recorded a summer series
- 0:12Speaker 2: that we're very excited about.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Cocktail.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Please, can you rub some oil on my back?
- 0:19Speaker 3: Get the bullboard to do that.
- 0:21Speaker 2: So those are all orders for me to go and fulfill.
- 0:23Speaker 2: By the way, so I should jump off this mic
- 0:24Speaker 2: and go and look after the women. But we've got
- 0:27Speaker 2: an amazing lineup of guests and each week we talk
- 0:29Speaker 2: to a different guest. We're very excited people who you
- 0:32Speaker 2: will know from netball and they've come in and had
- 0:35Speaker 2: just some really fabulous fun chats with us. So this
- 0:38Speaker 2: is our summer series. We hope you enjoy it.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Enjoy guys, Happy summer.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Bye. Okay, hello, and welcome to the No Dribble Summer Series.
- 0:59Speaker 2: As you know, we're on a bit of a hiatus,
- 1:00Speaker 2: but we have managed to gather together some wonderful guests
- 1:04Speaker 2: for this weekly series. I'm Carolyn Swindell and I'm joined
- 1:08Speaker 2: in studio as always by the Fine and the Fair
- 1:11Speaker 2: and the blind.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Folded the way she likes it, Cap Cox, I do
- 1:15Speaker 3: and from.
- 1:16Speaker 2: The far North Coast. Lizzellis Yeah, she's looking at some
- 1:20Speaker 2: emails on her phone. Then that's why I am hat
- 1:22Speaker 2: cos when you are the chair of Netball Australia, we
- 1:25Speaker 2: are live. This is a hot mic. So, Kath, I've
- 1:28Speaker 2: got a great guest this week. I am so so
- 1:31Speaker 2: excited to be able to bring this guest onto the
- 1:35Speaker 2: No Drible Summer series. So as usual I will be
- 1:38Speaker 2: giving you information and you will be guessing who our
- 1:41Speaker 2: guest is. Our guest is one hundred and eighty one
- 1:45Speaker 2: centimeters tall.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Could be too small for the circle, okay, yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Too small for the circle. She plays Western she plays
- 1:55Speaker 2: Western Australia. No, she plays wing, attack or center. Oh yeah,
- 1:59Speaker 2: we've got fused with WA. Then that whole Western Australia
- 2:02Speaker 2: thing was a complete red herring. She's a Gemini.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Oh that's me, split personality.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah ooh, any guesses yet?
- 2:11Speaker 3: No?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Okay born in two thousand and one.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Why after me?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Okay made her Son Corps Super Netball debut in twenty
- 2:21Speaker 2: twenty one and has played for the same team ever since.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Is this Georgie? She's shorter? Okay?
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah, okay? Her netball idol is not you. It is
- 2:35Speaker 2: Kim Green.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Makes sense given it's a mid quarter. Oh this is
- 2:39Speaker 3: none of this is helping.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Okay, well I've got two final bits of information. I
- 2:44Speaker 2: don't know which one to go with, which one because
- 2:46Speaker 2: one will absolutely give it to you quickly, but the
- 2:48Speaker 2: other one's an interesting piece of information. Calculate with that. First,
- 2:51Speaker 2: her alcoholic drink of choice. Quite fancy, this one an
- 2:54Speaker 2: amaretto sour.
- 2:56Speaker 3: A fancy mid quarter.
- 2:59Speaker 2: It's quite a sophisticated pal. I'm looking forward to having
- 3:01Speaker 2: the discussion with her about how she takes his stay case.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Okay, all right, no I'm not This is not helpful,
- 3:06Speaker 3: all right.
- 3:07Speaker 2: You know her mom.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I know her mom.
- 3:09Speaker 2: And you don't just know her mom from like knowing
- 3:12Speaker 2: someone's mum. You know her mom from playing netball. Her
- 3:15Speaker 2: mom is is her mom? Shelley o'd Hannah on Monday.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Welcome Hannah Gemini.
- 3:27Speaker 4: That's my whole personality, Trader Gemini. And I've never been
- 3:30Speaker 4: called fancy in my life, so there you go.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Also, welcome to no dribble. Then, Hey, we just throw
- 3:35Speaker 5: those terms around loosely here. Hey are you are you
- 3:38Speaker 5: actually a Gemini? The split personality?
- 3:40Speaker 3: When would we see that in you when.
- 3:43Speaker 6: I think crossing the line on the network. Lord, I
- 3:45Speaker 6: have a personality called Helga that hang on get out
- 3:50Speaker 6: of me? Yeah?
- 3:50Speaker 2: Who can get out of your? Kate Maloney?
- 3:52Speaker 6: Yeah, just tells exactly how to press my buttons.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Only at netball? Or does she come out on the
- 3:57Speaker 5: dance floor after a few drinks?
- 3:59Speaker 6: Yeah, probably Amarados.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Hey is Helga a bit of a like a Viking queen?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Does she just belts people? Yeah?
- 4:08Speaker 6: She chios and says that I'm like g train.
- 4:12Speaker 4: So that's Helga just charging through getting offensive contacts.
- 4:16Speaker 6: I say. So.
- 4:17Speaker 4: We don't really like her, but she's useful and sometimes.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Liz ellis you know what's funny When I think of Helga?
- 4:23Speaker 3: Do you know who I'm thinking of?
- 4:26Speaker 5: Shelly O'donald, My god, you are your mother's daughter.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Yeah, don't tell me that. Don't tell me I look
- 4:35Speaker 4: like her. I've heard it too much.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I don't think it looked like her.
- 4:39Speaker 6: Oh thank you.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I think you play like her, but I don't think
- 4:42Speaker 1: it looked like her.
- 4:43Speaker 3: What was that relationship like?
- 4:45Speaker 5: Growing up with your mom being an absolute eddy superstar?
- 4:49Speaker 6: It was pretty cool.
- 4:51Speaker 4: I think she was my coach growing up which probably
- 4:55Speaker 4: wasn't as cool as it sounds.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Don't say that because I told my order.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it built like a lot of resilience for me.
- 5:06Speaker 4: The car rides home were pretty intense. But yeah, I
- 5:09Speaker 4: think as I got older, I got better at probably
- 5:13Speaker 4: taking the negative as a positive.
- 5:16Speaker 6: And I sacked her as my coach as well.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Oh that's just so when you say the car rides
- 5:20Speaker 5: home were intense, because she's giving you what feedback?
- 5:23Speaker 6: Yeah, I go, how do you reckon?
- 5:25Speaker 4: That was? And sometimes it was it took a while
- 5:27Speaker 4: to get a response because she tried to make it
- 5:30Speaker 4: into a positive. But I can read it too well.
- 5:34Speaker 4: When I would, I would just be.
- 5:35Speaker 6: Like, fine, I'm quitting.
- 5:39Speaker 4: I never I never was going to quit, but it
- 5:41Speaker 4: was just the threat that I pulled out sometimes.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Did you to ever play together? I'm sure Shelley tell
- 5:48Speaker 1: me she played with you.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:50Speaker 4: We played down in Sorrento for like a footy netball competition,
- 5:55Speaker 4: so we knew the coach there and they were kind
- 5:58Speaker 4: of recruiting and recruited mom.
- 6:00Speaker 6: Mom was like, oh my gosh.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Listen to this, and then next minute they said, oh,
- 6:04Speaker 4: can we also have Hannah.
- 6:05Speaker 6: So I always say that like they wanted me more
- 6:08Speaker 6: than they just.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Had that connection. But we were sendering attacked together. And
- 6:13Speaker 4: she always says she was center.
- 6:14Speaker 6: I was attack. She always wanted to.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Yeah, she threw the center pass and then I'd get
- 6:21Speaker 4: the circle edgend.
- 6:22Speaker 6: Then ten minutes later she'd get.
- 6:23Speaker 1: There ten minutes. Yeah, I was smart actually, like she
- 6:29Speaker 1: should have put you in center. I'd give the young legs.
- 6:32Speaker 6: I know, I know, but I got all three channels
- 6:34Speaker 6: of the court. Then it was great.
- 6:36Speaker 4: So there was no balancing the circle because I was
- 6:39Speaker 4: the only one there. But I gave her the border
- 6:41Speaker 4: feed because she still had that ability.
- 6:45Speaker 1: She's amazing, right, she played welling, She played like state
- 6:48Speaker 1: league willing to like her late thirties and forties, didn't
- 6:51Speaker 1: she Yeah, I.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Think she came back after me and then had Jasper
- 6:56Speaker 4: and tried to come back after Jasper.
- 6:58Speaker 6: But said that she wasn't great but still played.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah, and did she kill live by home?
- 7:04Speaker 6: I'm sorry, you go, yeah, Yeah, this is mum's kitchen.
- 7:08Speaker 2: She's out there. I'm guessing.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Yeah, this is usually this is usually her day at home,
- 7:14Speaker 4: but she took that yesterday.
- 7:17Speaker 6: Not because of this, she had to stay at home.
- 7:19Speaker 6: Yesterday she wanted to sleep in.
- 7:21Speaker 5: So but it's smart because if Shelley was there, she
- 7:24Speaker 5: would have most definitely had a face on the screen
- 7:27Speaker 5: by now, because I reckon, I reckon every interview I've
- 7:30Speaker 5: seen with you for Sun Corpse, Supernapple or whatever. Shell's
- 7:33Speaker 5: made a cameo and almost trying to take over.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Oh yeah, she'd be like, well, I need to get
- 7:38Speaker 4: something out of this cupboard that you never go into.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I need the ham stand.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Hey Hanson, what's pre season been like, because we know
- 7:50Speaker 5: you're in the depth of it now.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Has it been going.
- 7:52Speaker 6: No, it's been good.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I feel like obviously a lot of the girls in
- 7:56Speaker 4: their break period because of Bossie Diamonds, so there's not
- 7:59Speaker 4: a heap of us. But it's been quite fun. It's
- 8:02Speaker 4: a good phase for strength and conditioning. So just been
- 8:06Speaker 4: getting hammered with the new training partners that are quite young,
- 8:09Speaker 4: which is nice.
- 8:10Speaker 6: And refreshing to not be the one that's made fun of.
- 8:12Speaker 3: All the time when you lose a Grand Final.
- 8:16Speaker 5: Are you excited about getting back to pre season to
- 8:19Speaker 5: start you kind of new neitball year or is it
- 8:22Speaker 5: like you're more motivated?
- 8:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I think so I think, especially having the same team,
- 8:28Speaker 4: I think a lot of us took that really hard. Obviously,
- 8:31Speaker 4: we came off the court proud, I guess. I think
- 8:35Speaker 4: we gave it out all out there. But yeah, it
- 8:38Speaker 4: does really make us want to get back into it
- 8:41Speaker 4: and just grow those connections even further, which I.
- 8:43Speaker 6: Know that we can do.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Am I the only one who gets you? And Kate
- 8:48Speaker 2: Maloney confused?
- 8:49Speaker 3: Oh nah, your whole freaking attack line.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Don't even get me started, because not only you and
- 8:55Speaker 5: Kate with the same hairdo. There was a moment there
- 8:57Speaker 5: that Sophie Garvin and Kia Austin all did the blonde
- 9:00Speaker 5: bun low bun and I.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Could not tell you apart it was awesome.
- 9:05Speaker 3: So who started that?
- 9:07Speaker 4: Me? But no one likes to say that. I think, yeah, thanks,
- 9:12Speaker 4: I've always been a bun. But yeah, I think the others.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Kate caught on and I love her because everyone says
- 9:18Speaker 4: I look like her, which I think is a compliment
- 9:21Speaker 4: and means I'm just as fit as her and they
- 9:23Speaker 4: look as fast as her, which is great.
- 9:25Speaker 2: And you can even really cool freaky Friday stuff, right,
- 9:28Speaker 2: You can just like go out with each other's boyfriends,
- 9:30Speaker 2: clean your mind each other's mother's kitchen. You could.
- 9:33Speaker 6: Yeah, if only we had boyfriends.
- 9:36Speaker 3: How overrated?
- 9:40Speaker 4: Yeah, even at cafes, like a couple of people have
- 9:42Speaker 4: come up to us. I'm like, gosh, you guys twins
- 9:45Speaker 4: and Kate goes, that's really sad for you because it
- 9:48Speaker 4: looks like you're ten years older than what you are.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I'm like, pure god people, Yeah, yeah, I know, just me.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Hey, Hannah, I know we've talked about your mum, but
- 10:02Speaker 1: you know, I just want to ask you a question
- 10:04Speaker 1: about her. She was always behind the scenes, one of
- 10:08Speaker 1: the naughty kids in the team. I don't know if
- 10:10Speaker 1: you know this. You must know this.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I've heard stories.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Yeah, So like, are you or are you a goodie
- 10:17Speaker 1: two shoes? Did you rebel by being really good or.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I'd say I'd have a spark of mum in me,
- 10:24Speaker 4: but I know how to tame it and being a
- 10:27Speaker 4: good athlete.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Sounds to me like we need to be asking someone
- 10:30Speaker 2: else this question.
- 10:33Speaker 1: But I do like it. I like your discomfort.
- 10:36Speaker 6: I'm really uncomfortable in sweating.
- 10:39Speaker 5: The fact that she's got an alter ego already scream
- 10:42Speaker 5: yeah named alterco.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Yes, he's a little bit cheeky.
- 10:49Speaker 2: When we got on the line, I introduced myself to
- 10:50Speaker 2: Hannah because we've we've never met, you know, longtime admirer
- 10:54Speaker 2: from Afar. But then you introduced yourself and then Hannah
- 10:57Speaker 2: corrected you.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Well, well, I remember I introduced myself to Hannah, and
- 11:01Speaker 1: I said, I, you wouldn't remember meeting me. I met
- 11:04Speaker 1: you when you're a baby, and she said, Hannah.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Yep, I remember getting a photo.
- 11:11Speaker 4: I went to the Centurion's Comedy show when you were
- 11:14Speaker 4: all pregnant, and I had a photo in my sling
- 11:18Speaker 4: because I'd just broken my elbow and it was my
- 11:21Speaker 4: screensaver for a long time.
- 11:22Speaker 2: There a baby sling for your mum.
- 11:27Speaker 6: No, no, I had a sling on.
- 11:29Speaker 1: So you went to the Centurion show?
- 11:31Speaker 3: How were you?
- 11:32Speaker 6: Yeah? No, I wouldn't have understood anything. I'm pretty when
- 11:36Speaker 6: everyone else laughed.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Like watching Greece as an eight year old.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Never understood any of that. So where was that was that?
- 11:46Speaker 3: That was the Melbourne one obviously?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we all the duff we were and those
- 11:52Speaker 1: children are ate now, I mean, Gordy wasn't not the duff.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Let's let's put it. Let's just spell that room where
- 11:57Speaker 1: it was? You me and Chad's yeah, right there you go.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Okay, So you didn't didn't find it interesting at all?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Can we fail you?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Oh?
- 12:05Speaker 4: No, I thought it was the best night ever because
- 12:07Speaker 4: I was like one of the only kids there and
- 12:10Speaker 4: I felt really special.
- 12:11Speaker 6: But I probably didn't understand anything.
- 12:13Speaker 3: That's probably good thing.
- 12:15Speaker 1: That's a good result had. I just want to ask
- 12:17Speaker 1: you about the Vicxen's culture and it's really interesting. So
- 12:20Speaker 1: Netwel Victoria have a really interesting thing or policy around
- 12:24Speaker 1: the Victens about that's a certain percentage of your players
- 12:28Speaker 1: have to be Victorian come through the Victorian junior pathways,
- 12:32Speaker 1: and they've built us a sustained level of success on
- 12:37Speaker 1: that policy. Given that you have, that's I guess that
- 12:42Speaker 1: core of players who've come through the Victorian pathway. Is
- 12:44Speaker 1: there a particular culture that the Vixens have that nobody
- 12:48Speaker 1: else has or what does that do for your culture?
- 12:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's something we pride ourselves on and
- 12:55Speaker 4: coming through the Victorian Pathway. It's very much the Vixen's
- 12:59Speaker 4: system and the offcourt behaviors and the high performance behaviors.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Are kind of drilled into you in those youth teams.
- 13:08Speaker 4: So I think every new athlete that comes in kind
- 13:11Speaker 4: of already has that right mentality and knows how to act,
- 13:16Speaker 4: knows that where that if you're not an hour earlier,
- 13:18Speaker 4: you're late, those kind of things. So yeah, it is
- 13:22Speaker 4: really easy to implement people into the system, and I
- 13:25Speaker 4: think we have good values and systems off court that
- 13:29Speaker 4: when we do get the interstate players, they're able to
- 13:31Speaker 4: slot in quite well as well.
- 13:34Speaker 5: On your culture, then, can you talk to us about
- 13:36Speaker 5: that Grand Final loss? Because is that something that Simone
- 13:39Speaker 5: addresses straight away? Do you guys kind of put that
- 13:42Speaker 5: to bed before you start your new year or is
- 13:44Speaker 5: that underlining thing that's just driving you and she refers
- 13:47Speaker 5: to as the year goes on.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I think she'll definitely refer to it. I think
- 13:53Speaker 4: it'll be a positive thing, you know. I think when
- 13:56Speaker 4: we get our whole group back, it is going to
- 13:58Speaker 4: be such a powerful drive for us, and obviously with
- 14:01Speaker 4: the Grand Final in Melbourne, that'll be.
- 14:03Speaker 6: Something that will really power us through as well.
- 14:06Speaker 4: So yeah, I think definitely using that Grand Final as
- 14:11Speaker 4: fire in our bellies for sure.
- 14:13Speaker 2: How does it feel still hurt?
- 14:14Speaker 1: It must hurt, Yeah, it does.
- 14:17Speaker 6: I think it probably hurts because it was so close.
- 14:21Speaker 4: In and you know, as opposed to two games before
- 14:24Speaker 4: when we got absolutely fogged by twenty I think that
- 14:27Speaker 4: was embarrassing that this probably hurt because it was there
- 14:30Speaker 4: for the taking. So yeah, I think I've got a
- 14:34Speaker 4: lot of motivation for the next couple of years with
- 14:37Speaker 4: this group. But definitely the older players took it quite
- 14:41Speaker 4: hard as well. I think Kiro Austin is someone that
- 14:43Speaker 4: hasn't won a Grand final yet, and I think she
- 14:48Speaker 4: really wanted that. Obviously we all did that. You could
- 14:50Speaker 4: just tell that she wanted it that extra oomph. So yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 4: I think this year we'll hopefully be our yep.
- 14:57Speaker 2: And how do you convey that to the new the
- 14:59Speaker 2: training partners who are coming in, because it's like, you
- 15:01Speaker 2: guys need to understand what you're coming to here. How
- 15:04Speaker 2: do you, as someone who has that experience, helped them
- 15:07Speaker 2: understand that emotional context of what they're coming into.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I think we've got really young training partners this year,
- 15:14Speaker 4: so all of the yeah, exactly, that's actually our culture.
- 15:19Speaker 6: That's how.
- 15:22Speaker 1: We got broad in exactly.
- 15:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 4: No, I think a lot of them are fans themselves,
- 15:29Speaker 4: so they probably wrote the kind of journey with us,
- 15:32Speaker 4: and I think they're just ready to learn and really
- 15:35Speaker 4: challenge us in training so that we, you know, are
- 15:39Speaker 4: better off for the season. But yeah, I think obviously
- 15:42Speaker 4: training partners play a huge role and at any moment
- 15:45Speaker 4: they're going to be stepped in.
- 15:46Speaker 6: Especially us this year and we had so many injuries.
- 15:49Speaker 4: They are really important elements of our team and have
- 15:53Speaker 4: them ready to go is something we focus on.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Hey, talk to us about the Diamonds environment because you
- 15:59Speaker 5: have been a part of it. And then to sit
- 16:02Speaker 5: back then and see what played out at the end
- 16:05Speaker 5: of the year and the Diamonds last performance against New Zealand,
- 16:08Speaker 5: what was your take on all of that.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I think coming out of camp it was such
- 16:13Speaker 4: a cool experience, and then watching the England series it
- 16:17Speaker 4: was exactly the form that you know, I came out
- 16:20Speaker 4: of and I thought that that was such a good
- 16:23Speaker 4: representation of Australia Nepal, and then obviously the Consolation Cup
- 16:28Speaker 4: was the other way around.
- 16:30Speaker 6: I don't know, it's hard to watch.
- 16:32Speaker 4: I think you could tell that they really wanted it,
- 16:35Speaker 4: but it just wasn't clicking. So I think it's really
- 16:38Speaker 4: important for them to rest and just come together next
- 16:42Speaker 4: year and address kind of what went wrong, which I
- 16:46Speaker 4: don't know.
- 16:47Speaker 5: It's really interesting wording because I reckon around that time
- 16:50Speaker 5: everyone said it's hard to watch, Yeah, like it's not
- 16:53Speaker 5: palatable because we're not used to seeing that sort of
- 16:55Speaker 5: performance from the World champions.
- 16:57Speaker 3: It's really interesting, isn't it.
- 16:58Speaker 2: And I think it says something about us fans too,
- 17:00Speaker 2: is that we're so used to the diamond stepping out
- 17:02Speaker 2: and going, well, we're going to bring home a win
- 17:04Speaker 2: that the fans have fallen apart, you know, watching that
- 17:07Speaker 2: they don't, you know, starting to turn on one another,
- 17:10Speaker 2: and it's like, come on, guys, this is part of sport,
- 17:12Speaker 2: and it's only sports. Only good if there are two
- 17:15Speaker 2: teams that show up to play.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Yeah, right, I think it's time. I think it's time
- 17:25Speaker 5: for some quick fire. Cox's hot Box. Yes you heard
- 17:29Speaker 5: that right, Cox's hot Box.
- 17:32Speaker 6: God, that sounds fine.
- 17:34Speaker 5: It sounds horrifying, you can you can say it, all right.
- 17:37Speaker 5: So these are meant to meant to be quick fire.
- 17:39Speaker 5: But you know, if we like an answer, we might
- 17:42Speaker 5: dive a little.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yeah, completely digress.
- 17:46Speaker 5: We control this whole thing, all right, starting with who's
- 17:49Speaker 5: a bigger party, gal, you or your mum?
- 17:52Speaker 6: Mum?
- 17:53Speaker 4: Actually I know this is quick, nah under the bus.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Yeah, do you know I actually heard your mum at
- 18:03Speaker 5: Netfast not that long ago singing Jimmy Barnes, and I
- 18:08Speaker 5: swear to god we didn't at the time. No, it
- 18:10Speaker 5: was Shelley. We walked into this place legitimately thinking Jimmy.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Barnes the corner, like, holy crap, it's Shelley.
- 18:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 4: She always when she adds as the call, the call
- 18:23Speaker 4: is always like, oh can I talk to missus O'Donnell,
- 18:25Speaker 4: mister o'donnald.
- 18:25Speaker 6: She goes no fas because she's got such a deep Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Should I not say bags?
- 18:33Speaker 1: Let's take that, but I think you can say too
- 18:35Speaker 1: many smokes.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Too many dirries, too many cigarettes back in the day. Okay,
- 18:39Speaker 5: let's just back to the hot box coffee.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Order oak cappuccino, summer or winter summer. What's your breakfast
- 18:48Speaker 3: go to?
- 18:51Speaker 4: I'm on the smoothie bowl bandwagon at the moment I
- 18:57Speaker 4: make them, but they're the best when Sophie makes them
- 18:59Speaker 4: for me because she gets the right consistency.
- 19:02Speaker 3: What's in them?
- 19:04Speaker 1: Oh?
- 19:04Speaker 4: Literally, just frozen strawberries and chabanni. But she really yeah, it's.
- 19:12Speaker 5: It's not breakfast, breakfast, just like you've given it a
- 19:18Speaker 5: super fancy name.
- 19:21Speaker 6: That's just need to try it.
- 19:24Speaker 4: And this is me claiming it. It's not mine, it's anyway.
- 19:27Speaker 4: But we have this cereal on top of vine. It's
- 19:29Speaker 4: really good. It's like eating ice cream.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Is it a chip strawberry Chabanni yoga with your strawberries? Yeah, okay,
- 19:36Speaker 3: you go.
- 19:37Speaker 1: That's just putting that in her notes now she has more.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Ingredients in her coffee than in her breakfast.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Okay, funniest teammate.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Other than my cl are?
- 19:52Speaker 2: You are you the funny one?
- 19:54Speaker 6: Oh?
- 19:54Speaker 4: I think I'm not laughed I'm laughed at.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah, believe I'll we talked about earlier on Yah.
- 20:03Speaker 6: It's not you, Sophie r Emily mannix X.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to miss her.
- 20:09Speaker 5: Hey, tomato sauce in the fridge or the cupboard fridge?
- 20:13Speaker 5: What's your favorite sport that's outside.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Of Nettie AFL?
- 20:18Speaker 3: Who's your team bombers?
- 20:21Speaker 1: There's another shock.
- 20:23Speaker 3: That you do on the plane on a flight?
- 20:26Speaker 1: What do you do annoy people?
- 20:29Speaker 4: I'm like the only one that doesn't have things planned,
- 20:32Speaker 4: Like the Perth flight's my worst nightmare, and.
- 20:34Speaker 2: It sounds like everyone else's worst nightmare, and I'm.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Always sat in next to Kate Maloney and she hates
- 20:41Speaker 4: it because I just I don't know, I can't sit still.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Give willies and stuff. The whole word is to entertain yourself.
- 20:50Speaker 4: I literally would have given her a wet willy about
- 20:53Speaker 4: ten times.
- 20:54Speaker 6: No.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I try to read for about five minutes, and then
- 20:56Speaker 4: I'll go through my camera roll and then I'll try
- 21:00Speaker 4: to air drop things to people that are really funny.
- 21:04Speaker 4: And then.
- 21:06Speaker 2: One day in your future, if you decide to have children,
- 21:09Speaker 2: you might travel on a plane with a toddler and
- 21:12Speaker 2: then you'll know what it was like Kate Maloney sit
- 21:16Speaker 2: next to you at that time.
- 21:19Speaker 1: So yeah, and next year when Kate Maloney like just

- 22:10Speaker 5: So yes, it's not appropriate.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I was thinking, is it not appropriate because it's like
- 22:16Speaker 1: for teenage girls? Because then I won't watch it. But
- 22:18Speaker 1: if it's old ladies, I'm all over. Yes, given Sigma,
- 22:23Speaker 1: I would.
- 22:25Speaker 6: That's all I can say.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I wouldn't watch. If you watch it with your mom,
- 22:28Speaker 1: I reckon, I'd like it.
- 22:30Speaker 3: No, she said she won't watch it with Oh you.

- 23:13Speaker 6: Yeah? What is it on my ribs? It's like two

- 24:36Speaker 3: off and let me know? Yeah, I want to do it.
- 24:39Speaker 5: I want to tick it off that I've done one,
- 24:41Speaker 5: but I don't want to look like an absolute knob

- 25:34Speaker 3: Do you know what lizellis? It's because she's a netballer's daughter.
- 25:37Speaker 1: That's exactly right. She's been taught properly by the older.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Homy Sigo is also a netballer's daughter, though, and she
- 25:45Speaker 2: does not have her stake correctly.
- 25:47Speaker 1: She'll learn someone in her team will pull her aside

- 26:05Speaker 2: said back to me, well, I feel like this is
- 26:12Speaker 2: descended into some level of chaos and anarchy, and that's
- 26:15Speaker 2: probably a good time to draw a line under it,
- 26:17Speaker 2: isn't it. It is very exciting to see you in
- 26:21Speaker 2: action off court, even more exciting to see you in
- 26:23Speaker 2: action back on court. So good luck for twenty twenty five.
