- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and camera jeedge.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas in
- 0:19Speaker 2: a Pod. But it's myself and.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Alexia.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Hi.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Hi, how are you a podcast with me?
- 0:30Speaker 2: You know it's all right.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I know I'm not camera. Like I've always said, I
- 0:35Speaker 3: have like big shoes to fill, but it's it's a
- 0:38Speaker 3: lot of fun. I'm really enjoying watching the show and
- 0:42Speaker 3: talking to you about it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I agree, and we I feel like each week it's
- 0:48Speaker 2: getting juicier. I feel like last week we had a
- 0:49Speaker 2: little bit of a filler episode, and then this week
- 0:53Speaker 2: it starts become a good one.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Yes, and I have.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Some theories that I want to debunk a little bit
- 0:59Speaker 2: once we get a to that, but before we have
- 1:01Speaker 2: some housewife headlines we need to dig into. Okay, this
- 1:07Speaker 2: first one, Vicky Gumfilson sued by seventy four year old
- 1:14Speaker 2: woman for financial elder abuse. In this in Touch exclusive,
- 1:19Speaker 2: it says, according to documents obtained by in Touch, Vicky
- 1:23Speaker 2: sixty two, I love how they always put our ages.
- 1:26Speaker 3: I hate that, by the way, like I don't actually
- 1:28Speaker 3: that's so important, right.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But also like I don't need Peloton to put my
- 1:32Speaker 2: age either, Like I don't need to know that. I'm
- 1:35Speaker 2: like riding my bike and somebody of a certain age
- 1:38Speaker 2: is beating me. Like I don't need to know your age,
- 1:41Speaker 2: Like your name is enough. I agree, But she was
- 1:44Speaker 2: sued by a woman named Diane Field. Also listed as
- 1:47Speaker 2: a defendant in the lawsuit is Vicky's company, Codo Insurance
- 1:51Speaker 2: and Financial Services. Diane accused Vicky and her partner Alie
- 1:55Speaker 2: of financial elder abuse, claiming they had her Interer inter
- 1:59Speaker 2: harmful deals. She said Ali convinced her to transfer funds
- 2:03Speaker 2: and stocks to an outside firm managed under Ali at
- 2:07Speaker 2: Fidelity Investments, had her take out life insurance policy without
- 2:11Speaker 2: telling her it cost three hundred thousand dollars a year.
- 2:15Speaker 3: That's expensive, it is, that's a lot. That's a lot
- 2:18Speaker 3: for life insurance. I mean, I don't even know what
- 2:21Speaker 3: the limits are. I think it did say a limit.
- 2:23Speaker 3: I think there was a three million dollar policy. So
- 2:25Speaker 3: it is very very pricey.
- 2:28Speaker 2: But I mean, how do you just get surprised with
- 2:30Speaker 2: a three hundred thousand dollar bill. I was annoyed today
- 2:33Speaker 2: because I had to log onto this new website and
- 2:35Speaker 2: pay twenty four dollars, so three hundred thousand, and then
- 2:40Speaker 2: Diane said.
- 2:41Speaker 3: What are you getting for that? Right? Because I mean
- 2:43Speaker 3: it's so much money. I don't know if it had
- 2:44Speaker 3: like a cash value. And some of these life insurance
- 2:46Speaker 3: policies have a cash value, which means that it's like accumulating.
- 2:51Speaker 3: The money's there and it's accumulating more money, and you
- 2:54Speaker 3: can at some time cash out.
- 2:57Speaker 2: But this woman's seventy four years old. When is she
- 2:59Speaker 2: going to cashaw?
- 3:01Speaker 3: I agree, and I think this is her main concern, right,
- 3:04Speaker 3: she wanted this money for her children.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so she said. Diane said it in reliance of
- 3:08Speaker 2: Vicky's fraudulent sales taxics and her promises that this anunuity
- 3:13Speaker 2: would help lower her income taxes. She transformed money into
- 3:17Speaker 2: the Aliens two to two indexed and unuity, she said.
- 3:22Speaker 2: In December twenty twenty two, she told Vicki and Ali
- 3:24Speaker 2: she was concerned about their investment recommendations over the years,
- 3:28Speaker 2: explaining that she felt uninformed by them and that the
- 3:31Speaker 2: annuities and life insurance policy they convinced her to open
- 3:34Speaker 2: did not seem to be the best investments for her,
- 3:37Speaker 2: as they tie up large sums of money for a
- 3:39Speaker 2: long time that she may never be able to use
- 3:44Speaker 2: for maybe longer than she will live or be too
- 3:47Speaker 2: old to enjoy. The lawsuit demanded unspecified damages for the
- 3:50Speaker 2: defendant's alleged contact. Back in twenty eighteen, Vicki was sued
- 3:55Speaker 2: by an eighty two year old woman named Joan Lyle
- 3:58Speaker 2: for fraud over life insurance pol she was sold. The
- 4:01Speaker 2: suit was dismissed months later. So of course we don't know.
- 4:04Speaker 2: We're not lawyers, we don't know what happened here. People
- 4:08Speaker 2: like to sue. There could be truth to this, or
- 4:10Speaker 2: there's this could be not but nobody in their businesses
- 4:14Speaker 2: want to be sued, especially publicly, and especially when it
- 4:18Speaker 2: comes to elder abuse like was Jinshaw was elder abuse
- 4:24Speaker 2: as well, right.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Of course, and this did make me think of that
- 4:27Speaker 3: obviously because it brought me back to what jen was doing,
- 4:31Speaker 3: which was different. But it also involves elderly people, so
- 4:34Speaker 3: it always makes it more more sensitive, right, And you're
- 4:39Speaker 3: more sensitive to these kind of things when you're dealing with,
- 4:42Speaker 3: you know, elderly people that are confiding in you. But
- 4:46Speaker 3: is Vickie a financial advisor? I mean I think she
- 4:49Speaker 3: was just selling insurance.
- 4:50Speaker 2: That's what I was confused about, because like I have, Yes,
- 4:54Speaker 2: I have somebody I went to try to get life insurance.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Granted I was rejected because of all my skin cancer
- 5:00Speaker 2: stuff and I waited too long to get it, But
- 5:03Speaker 2: that is a completely different person than I have.
- 5:06Speaker 4: For your finance, my finances, Like I have somebody over
- 5:12Speaker 4: at you know, whatever it is, Bear Stearns or blah
- 5:16Speaker 4: blah blah, forget Morgan and Stanley, whatever company it is
- 5:19Speaker 4: that that's now morphed into that, right.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I agree same, I feel exactly the same way. So
- 5:25Speaker 3: I'm very confused. How you know this woman just really
- 5:29Speaker 3: confided and big PI for all of this advice that
- 5:32Speaker 3: apparently she wasn't able to to give it properly, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 3: to advise her properly. I mean, that's what I'm thinking.
- 5:40Speaker 3: First of it's a lot of information. I mean, the
- 5:42Speaker 3: article was so long and it had so much information
- 5:45Speaker 3: in it that you would just have to like go
- 5:48Speaker 3: step by step. And like you said, we're not attorneys,
- 5:50Speaker 3: you know, we're not in this business, so we don't
- 5:52Speaker 3: know how much truth to it there is or isn't.
- 5:54Speaker 3: It's allegations for now, I mean, she is being sued.
- 5:58Speaker 2: But also I think this goes to show and this
- 6:00Speaker 2: happens a lot in the housewife world we're seeing. And
- 6:03Speaker 2: I'm not accusing this person just allegedly.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I know what you're going to say.
- 6:08Speaker 2: This Alli at Fidelity Investments is probably some sort of
- 6:12Speaker 2: partner of her. She probably has not much to do
- 6:15Speaker 2: with whatever it is that he does, but they work together.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But that's the problem, especially when you're in the public eye,
- 6:21Speaker 2: you join forces with somebody else, and we see this
- 6:23Speaker 2: all the time, to that person, fox over somebody and
- 6:27Speaker 2: then your health.
- 6:29Speaker 3: You're the one your headline, right, yeah, I know, and
- 6:31Speaker 3: the headline is that, you know, it's like the Real Housewives.
- 6:34Speaker 3: You know, that's why this is picking up traction because
- 6:37Speaker 3: of who she is, and she's a public person, and
- 6:40Speaker 3: you know a lot of people feel that, you know,
- 6:42Speaker 3: it's just easier to go after someone when they're public,
- 6:45Speaker 3: and you know, maybe you know, they just want to
- 6:46Speaker 3: like shut everything down and they'll come to some you know,
- 6:49Speaker 3: kind of mediation or agreement. But you know, we'll just
- 6:53Speaker 3: have to give it time, right to see, because the
- 6:54Speaker 3: other person that did to her apparently it was discharged
- 6:58Speaker 3: or you know, nothing.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I was dismissed, but I don't think back in two
- 7:03Speaker 2: thousand and eight, Ali was a part of it. So
- 7:05Speaker 2: I think, I don't know. I think we might need
- 7:08Speaker 2: to do a little deep dive into Ali and what
- 7:12Speaker 2: that business is and is that tied to her insurance
- 7:15Speaker 2: company or is that somebody she just refers or you
- 7:19Speaker 2: know what I mean, like how.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Well, I mean it just came out. Maybe in the
- 7:22Speaker 3: next couple of days, you know, Vicky will release a statement,
- 7:25Speaker 3: you know, stating her defense or her part.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I don't think she's going to release anything. I think that,
- 7:32Speaker 2: especially when our lawsuits involved, you have to kind of
- 7:35Speaker 2: keep quiet, which I think for somebody like Vicky is
- 7:38Speaker 2: extremely difficult, especially if she feels like she is in
- 7:43Speaker 2: the right. It's going to be hard for to be quiet,
- 7:45Speaker 2: especially now that she has a podcast where she can
- 7:48Speaker 2: openly speak. So hopefully for her sake, Hopefully for her
- 7:54Speaker 2: sake she stays quiet and let's play out and that
- 7:58Speaker 2: you know what we're reading isn't actually true. I mean,
- 8:02Speaker 2: regardless of how I feel about Vicky, you never want
- 8:05Speaker 2: to believe the worst in someone. In that regard, I agree.
- 8:10Speaker 2: What about this next one? Peacock sets Real Housewives dating
- 8:14Speaker 2: show spin off with Luanne de Leceps, Giselle Bryant, Shannon Storms, Thedoor,
- 8:21Speaker 2: Ashley Darby Peacock is giving Real Housewife fans something they're
- 8:26Speaker 2: sure to love. The streaming network has set a new
- 8:29Speaker 2: dating reality series which will gather eligible singles in a
- 8:32Speaker 2: quest to win the hearts of four of Bravo's Biggest Bachelor.
- 8:38Speaker 2: This actually makes me laugh. And then filming will take
- 8:41Speaker 2: place in September and Cabo sam Lucas, where the woman
- 8:45Speaker 2: will be offered a diverse dating pool. The show is
- 8:47Speaker 2: expected to air sometime next year. The one Okay, My
- 8:51Speaker 2: main thought is okay, I'm watching Too Hot to Handle
- 8:54Speaker 2: I recap it with Emily Simpson. I watch Love Island,
- 8:57Speaker 2: I watch The Bachelor, Like if it's a dating show
- 9:00Speaker 2: I want. But when you look at these women we're
- 9:03Speaker 2: discussing right now, they are so different.
- 9:07Speaker 3: They are to me, this is well. First of time, I'm
- 9:09Speaker 3: super excited that they are going to have a show
- 9:11Speaker 3: like this because I feel like that's what the audience
- 9:14Speaker 3: wants to see. You know, everybody loves to see love,
- 9:17Speaker 3: you know, and finding love and relationships and you know dating.
- 9:21Speaker 3: So I feel like it's going to get like a
- 9:23Speaker 3: lot of attention and people are going to love this.
- 9:25Speaker 3: But I was a little bit confused about the choice
- 9:29Speaker 3: of women, right, and not only because I feel like
- 9:33Speaker 3: the biggest thing for me is that Ashley Darby's in it,
- 9:36Speaker 3: and she's thirty nine and the rest of the girls
- 9:38Speaker 3: are like, you know, in their fifties, so there's like
- 9:41Speaker 3: a twenty year age gap, and she's so legally married.
- 9:46Speaker 3: So right, she's legally married. I mean, yes, granted they're separated,
- 9:51Speaker 3: but I mean whatever, bachelor's there, you know, ye man,
- 9:54Speaker 3: I feel comfortable with her situation, and I don't know,
- 9:58Speaker 3: I just found it like kind of weird. I'm excited
- 10:00Speaker 3: Gazelle because I know Gizelle is very private and she's
- 10:02Speaker 3: never really shared to watch on TV about her personal life.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I happen to be friends with her and we'll on
- 10:07Speaker 3: you know, to my Girls trip together, and I did
- 10:10Speaker 3: get to know her personally, and she's like, I love her,
- 10:13Speaker 3: and it's going to be interesting to see her out
- 10:15Speaker 3: of her comfort zone because I know this is for
- 10:17Speaker 3: sure not like she's not going to feel comfortable with him,
- 10:21Speaker 3: but maybe we see a ug of Zelle, right, like
- 10:22Speaker 3: a new side to her. Well.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Also just imagine like first dates are awkward in general,
- 10:28Speaker 2: but like first dates.
- 10:30Speaker 3: On camera right on nationally right that like.
- 10:34Speaker 2: First dates with a complete stranger. But my only other
- 10:37Speaker 2: concern is on any other dating show you have complete
- 10:42Speaker 2: you know, people coming from you know, obscurity, Like they're
- 10:46Speaker 2: coming from all over the country, nobody's known. All of
- 10:49Speaker 2: a sudden, now we have known people, we have men
- 10:53Speaker 2: vying to win them over. Like, does this mean all
- 10:56Speaker 2: the men are going to be starfuckers?
- 10:58Speaker 3: Could be? Right? And how can you invent gate that? Right?
- 11:00Speaker 3: We already have that on TV on these shows already, right,
- 11:03Speaker 3: Like the guys start dating these women can potentially be
- 11:07Speaker 3: that or want that, So it's going to be interesting.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Like it didn't say anything about their bachelor so I
- 11:11Speaker 3: don't know how that bachelor pool is going to be
- 11:13Speaker 3: you know, figured out. And also it kind of reminded
- 11:16Speaker 3: me of like the Millionaire Matchmaker, Oh, which right, so
- 11:20Speaker 3: it was like you know, celebrities and just like regular
- 11:23Speaker 3: civilian guys or whatever the other way around, And it's like,
- 11:26Speaker 3: are these what are their intentions? Is it because the
- 11:28Speaker 3: guys want to date somebody famous and be on TV
- 11:31Speaker 3: and have that platform, or is it because they're really,
- 11:33Speaker 3: you know, just looking to date someone and have fun
- 11:36Speaker 3: or fall in love.
- 11:37Speaker 2: But the other thing is that we're not really discussing
- 11:39Speaker 2: which millionaire matchmaker or any of those other types is
- 11:44Speaker 2: these women they all live except for Giselle and Ashley,
- 11:47Speaker 2: they all live in different locations. So the biggest thing
- 11:51Speaker 2: I think is hard for a relationship to be sustainable
- 11:54Speaker 2: is a long distance relationship, especially if you've got busy
- 11:57Speaker 2: women on television shows. Right, So, like, when this is
- 12:01Speaker 2: all over, how is love going to be sustained? These
- 12:04Speaker 2: men are going to move to where they are.
- 12:07Speaker 3: It's not it's not gonna be We already know the conclusion.
- 12:11Speaker 3: It's not happening. It's just gonna be fun to watch.
- 12:14Speaker 3: We're gonna laugh ause new end. It's very entertaining. And
- 12:18Speaker 3: and she loves to date, you know, I think she's
- 12:20Speaker 3: gonna be great on the show. And and you know,
- 12:23Speaker 3: Shannon is like a new stage in her life, you know,
- 12:26Speaker 3: so we might be surprised, you know by her too.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And yeah, of these four girls, who would you date?
- 12:35Speaker 3: I date? Okay, so I'm not into girls, but if
- 12:40Speaker 3: I already date one of them. I don't know. I
- 12:43Speaker 3: think it would be probably Gizelle.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Yeah, me too, I know Gizelle. I think Gizelle would
- 12:50Speaker 2: be my pick. Like I always, I get that vibe.
- 12:55Speaker 3: We have the same taste in women's teddy.
- 12:57Speaker 5: Oh my god, let's fight it out right now.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. This next one, Alexis Bellino and Johnny
- 13:16Speaker 2: j do Carlos King's podcast, Reality with the King. Of course,
- 13:21Speaker 2: I love Carlos King, but I'm going to break down.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I'm going to read through exactly the things that they said,
- 13:28Speaker 2: and then we'll talk about it after the majority of
- 13:31Speaker 2: people don't know that John didn't want to film with Shannon,
- 13:35Speaker 2: but she wouldn't have survived if she didn't have the job.
- 13:39Speaker 2: He's hurt financially and emotionally due to Shannon's lies about him.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Bravo isn't at fault for this, and the cast doesn't
- 13:46Speaker 2: like him only because they believe drunk Shannon. Okay, just
- 13:51Speaker 2: keep moving on. Carlos asked that what it was like
- 13:54Speaker 2: dating Shannon. John responds, I just challenge people to think
- 13:58Speaker 2: what it might be like dating Shannon. Being with Shannon
- 14:01Speaker 2: was like failing all day every day. Alexis says she
- 14:05Speaker 2: started filming three months after the death of her mom
- 14:07Speaker 2: and her breakup with her fiance, which is why she
- 14:10Speaker 2: was so emotional. John is not a fame horror because
- 14:14Speaker 2: John offered to pay Alexis the same amount of money
- 14:17Speaker 2: as Real Housewives of Orange County if she didn't do
- 14:20Speaker 2: the show. John only does red carpets with her because
- 14:23Speaker 2: she asks him, and John regularly denies the interview request.
- 14:27Speaker 2: It will be shown probusely throughout the season that Shannon's
- 14:31Speaker 2: words have no merit. Alexis says Shannon is a liar
- 14:34Speaker 2: and again alludes to that being exposed later on in
- 14:37Speaker 2: the season. How does he love bamb you if he's
- 14:41Speaker 2: broke and doesn't give you anything? Huh and you're paying
- 14:44Speaker 2: for everything? How does that make sense? Nothing makes sense.
- 14:47Speaker 2: You'll see more of Shannon's erratic and emotional roller coaster
- 14:50Speaker 2: as the season progresses. Real Housewives of Orange County has
- 14:54Speaker 2: true friendships, and so does Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
- 14:57Speaker 3: But the other inside is Miami. By the way, I
- 15:00Speaker 3: I was like, what about that?
- 15:01Speaker 2: And she goes but Themi but the other franchises don't,
- 15:05Speaker 2: which is why they're not as good as Real House
- 15:07Speaker 2: plays Orange County, I'm like, I actually beg to differ.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Alexis adores Ryan and Jen and she says he's a
- 15:16Speaker 2: stand up man for taking in Gin and her kids.
- 15:19Speaker 2: She doesn't want to speak on his legal drama. Okay,
- 15:24Speaker 2: it's okay for someone who doesn't want any attention and
- 15:28Speaker 2: doesn't want to be talked about and would be willing
- 15:31Speaker 2: to pay his significant other what she would make salary, yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 2: or her friend of self first.
- 15:39Speaker 3: So I already have a problem with that because you
- 15:41Speaker 3: have money to pay your significant other not to be
- 15:45Speaker 3: part of the show, but you don't want to pay
- 15:48Speaker 3: for your ex girlfriend's facelifts and you're actually suing her.
- 15:52Speaker 3: So I'm just not okay with that.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But what I begin with the issue with is like, if
- 15:57Speaker 2: Alexis wants to do the show, let's say it has
- 16:00Speaker 2: nothing to do with him, I would be so freaking
- 16:03Speaker 2: pissed at my boyfriend or husband or whatever it was
- 16:06Speaker 2: if he was like, I'll pay you not to do it, Oh,
- 16:09Speaker 2: why so you can control me?
- 16:11Speaker 3: Of course, there's a sign of a narcissisist and of
- 16:14Speaker 3: a control freak. Yeah, Like, I don't like that. And
- 16:20Speaker 3: by the way, Alexis's storyline is John.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well, it would be one thing if Alexis came
- 16:26Speaker 2: on and maybe this is going to shift. And I'm
- 16:28Speaker 2: not saying that we had a lot of fun with
- 16:31Speaker 2: Alexis when we hung out with her, I did not
- 16:32Speaker 2: see the side that we're seeing throughout this season so far.
- 16:37Speaker 2: But I agree it feels like they're just trying so
- 16:41Speaker 2: hard to stick it to Shannon when really, yeah, do
- 16:44Speaker 2: I think Shannon's perfect?
- 16:45Speaker 3: No?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Do I think that Shannon and Johnny Jay's relationship was toxic? Absolutely?
- 16:52Speaker 2: Do I think Shannon was at fault for a massive
- 16:54Speaker 2: amount of it, for sure, But that doesn't mean that
- 16:58Speaker 2: you don't need to tread lightly if you're going to
- 17:00Speaker 2: start a relationship with somebody's ex and enter her television
- 17:03Speaker 2: show with them.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I just I agree with what you're saying. And she
- 17:08Speaker 3: knew what she was getting herself into, Like you know,
- 17:11Speaker 3: she knew who he was and he knew who she was,
- 17:14Speaker 3: and she came. She's come in strongest season to just
- 17:19Speaker 3: make Shannon feel uncomfortable and just to like stick it
- 17:21Speaker 3: in her face, and all she talks about whenever she
- 17:25Speaker 3: is on TV is about John and her.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And sex and the gym and this and that and
- 17:30Speaker 2: how great he is and how wonderfully is it? Like
- 17:32Speaker 2: I want to learn more about her. I'm happy to
- 17:35Speaker 2: hear about her, you know, past breakup with her fiance,
- 17:39Speaker 2: where her lives changed, her kids, her family, her life,
- 17:42Speaker 2: her friends were like anything.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Well, she has a friend row for now, and maybe
- 17:47Speaker 3: that's why she's just you know, participating in a smaller capacity,
- 17:52Speaker 3: had less time. And where was she at Where was
- 17:55Speaker 3: she at the Coyote Ugly Dancing Night? No, she wasn't
- 17:59Speaker 3: this episode. You don't see her.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's why she must have gone on Carlos
- 18:03Speaker 2: King so we could still talk about her. So here
- 18:06Speaker 2: we are.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Okay, congratulations exactly right. And then as far as like
- 18:10Speaker 3: she's saying, well, you know if John has like no money,
- 18:13Speaker 3: how did he love moomb you? So love bombing is
- 18:16Speaker 3: not only with material things, you know, love bombing? Yeah,
- 18:20Speaker 3: I was like, okay, these you know, first of all,
- 18:21Speaker 3: I have a problem with like all these women on
- 18:23Speaker 3: the show that they miss you know, use all these terms, right.
- 18:27Speaker 3: They love to say gas lighting and love bombing and
- 18:30Speaker 3: narcissism and all these terms that are like overly used,
- 18:33Speaker 3: but they really do exist, and it's a real thing.
- 18:36Speaker 3: But love bombing isn't only with material things. Love bombing
- 18:39Speaker 3: is most dangerous because it's their words and their actions
- 18:43Speaker 3: and their lives. You know, they're like, you know, telling you,
- 18:45Speaker 3: telling you how much they love you, and you know,
- 18:47Speaker 3: they want to spend the rest of the life with you,
- 18:49Speaker 3: and they want to take you here and they want
- 18:50Speaker 3: to take you there. So it's not only material things,
- 18:52Speaker 3: but it's like promising a lot of like empty promises.
- 18:55Speaker 2: And telling you that they're going to make you feel
- 18:58Speaker 2: this certain way and doing things that make you feel
- 19:01Speaker 2: a way that somebody else hasn't made you feel. And
- 19:03Speaker 2: being a friend of is her disadvantage because she doesn't
- 19:07Speaker 2: get to show a personal storyline. But here's where I
- 19:10Speaker 2: have an issue with that. So they're only showing her
- 19:12Speaker 2: talking about John, Right, there is a lot of friend
- 19:16Speaker 2: of that still get into the mix with the other
- 19:19Speaker 2: women and talk about the drama within the show, not
- 19:23Speaker 2: solely about themselves. Right, we have not seen that yet.
- 19:28Speaker 3: So that I've seen the same thing. So and that's
- 19:32Speaker 3: her disadvantage for sure, because she could have gone in
- 19:35Speaker 3: there and started a friendship and a relationship with you know,
- 19:39Speaker 3: a few of the other women because she knows them,
- 19:41Speaker 3: and that's what we're all there for. You know, it's
- 19:44Speaker 3: a show not only about you going in there and
- 19:46Speaker 3: saying you know your story or what you want the
- 19:48Speaker 3: audience to know over the other girls, but it's about
- 19:50Speaker 3: opening up and being authentic and genuine and just you know,
- 19:53Speaker 3: getting in there with the rest of the women and
- 19:56Speaker 3: you know. Sure, she has a disadvantage.
- 19:58Speaker 2: And I hope that we you know this throughout the season.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I hope we see heislows. I hope we see a
- 20:04Speaker 2: change in her. I hope we see her friendships bond.
- 20:07Speaker 2: I hope we see a shift with Shannon. I hope
- 20:10Speaker 2: all of these things happen. But all of this happening
- 20:12Speaker 2: in the press before we see any change. It's just hard.
- 20:16Speaker 3: No, this is gonna make it harder. I agree. I mean,
- 20:19Speaker 3: John just doing this interview with Carlos King just kind
- 20:22Speaker 3: of again, he's like feeling the fire. It's like, if
- 20:25Speaker 3: you really don't want anybody to talk about you and
- 20:28Speaker 3: you don't want to be part of this, then just
- 20:29Speaker 3: step out like this is not your show, and compose
- 20:32Speaker 3: her pictures and Shannon in the storyline, and he gave
- 20:35Speaker 3: Shannon the storyline. I mean, this is what happened. This
- 20:38Speaker 3: is what happened, and she's sharing it now, and you know,
- 20:42Speaker 3: I think it would have been different if Alexis wouldn't
- 20:44Speaker 3: have come in as a front. For sure, you know
- 20:46Speaker 3: it wouldn't have been the same because obviously Shannon does
- 20:50Speaker 3: have a relationship with the rest of the girls on
- 20:52Speaker 3: the cast, and you know they treat her differently. You know,
- 20:55Speaker 3: they're being empathetic, they're listening to her either calling her
- 20:58Speaker 3: out when they need to call her out, but you
- 21:00Speaker 3: know they're also her friends and you can tell.
- 21:02Speaker 2: But I think she's about to hit the fan next
- 21:04Speaker 2: week for Shannon.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure. You know there's one episode like that
- 21:09Speaker 3: then the next one comes back, so for sure.
- 21:11Speaker 2: But the episode starts where Heather and Terry have a
- 21:14Speaker 2: drink at their penthouse. Heather says she is in a
- 21:16Speaker 2: good spot with everyone since Terry's stroke. She doesn't have
- 21:19Speaker 2: time for drama. But the whole scene on the balcony,
- 21:23Speaker 2: all I could think was, what if there's an earthquake.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Like, well, you you're thinking that, you're so funny. I
- 21:30Speaker 3: would never think that because we're in the balcony out
- 21:33Speaker 3: here all the time, so we never have to worry
- 21:35Speaker 3: about those things. I you know, hurricanes, but you know
- 21:38Speaker 3: hurricane usually you know there's it's advice before, so we're
- 21:41Speaker 3: aware of it. But so you were thinking that how scary,
- 21:45Speaker 3: because like.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It really was a big It was a little bit
- 21:49Speaker 2: dicey there. But what I have realized is there's not
- 21:52Speaker 2: been many I was kind of going through a history
- 21:54Speaker 2: of trying to find out the relationship between Heather and
- 21:57Speaker 2: Terry because they always seem pretty much on the same page.
- 22:01Speaker 2: So they're like kind of well oiled machines with showing
- 22:05Speaker 2: the relationship on camera, giving us.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Enough they work well, I need to we need to
- 22:09Speaker 3: learn from them. I was gonna say, to learn from Heather.
- 22:14Speaker 2: She's a pro at that. But then Tamra, Emily, Gina, Jen,
- 22:18Speaker 2: and Katie take a party bus to a bar. Tamar
- 22:21Speaker 2: did not invite Shannon. Then we see Emily Piana Bush
- 22:25Speaker 2: and she falls in it and kind of pulls Ham
- 22:28Speaker 2: into the bush as she's doing it. I'm not gonna
- 22:31Speaker 2: say it with Piana Bush, not.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Like camera though, I feel like we've all done it
- 22:37Speaker 3: on our show, Like the girls love to pee anywhere
- 22:39Speaker 3: because the girl might.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Didn't you guys peet a polo field? Am I getting?
- 22:43Speaker 3: I feel like we peet everywhere, honestly, especially like Marisol,
- 22:46Speaker 3: Like she always has to pee. You know. Obviously they
- 22:49Speaker 3: try to go for the bathroom, but if there's no bathroom,
- 22:51Speaker 3: they have no shame in just putting down their pants
- 22:53Speaker 3: and peeing. But I did, like, I just need to
- 22:55Speaker 3: wipe myself, so like if there's no paper, like, there's
- 22:58Speaker 3: no way I'm doing it. Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I know I'm not a drip dry kind of gal,
- 23:02Speaker 2: but I did understand having to make if you've never
- 23:05Speaker 2: met somebody's husband or their kids and you have to
- 23:08Speaker 2: make small talk within seconds to go pee, I probably
- 23:11Speaker 2: would rather pee in a bush joo.
- 23:13Speaker 3: No, I don't. I'd rather go in and say excuse me,
- 23:16Speaker 3: But like I have to be so you know, I'll
- 23:18Speaker 3: stay hello and goodbye at the same time. But I
- 23:21Speaker 3: need to be. But I would have gone inside. But
- 23:24Speaker 3: it's a funny moment. It was funny.
- 23:25Speaker 2: It was funny. Do you think it was done for
- 23:28Speaker 2: TV or do you think it was just.
- 23:30Speaker 3: I think she can do that. No, I think that
- 23:32Speaker 3: Emily would do something like that. I think she's so
- 23:34Speaker 3: much fun I'm really enjoying her on the show, and
- 23:36Speaker 3: I'm enjoying Gina a lot.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, mm hmm. She did some funny things.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Well.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Then Katie's friend said that Heather this storyline honestly is
- 23:46Speaker 2: punishable one the fact that me and Cynthia were both
- 23:52Speaker 2: brought up in regards to the story. I'm like, I
- 23:54Speaker 2: mentioned it on the podcast years ago, like no one
- 23:59Speaker 2: cares anymore, no one gives two shits.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Well they do, because they're still bringing it up.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, Okay. So Katie's friend said that Heather
- 24:08Speaker 2: hired paparazzi at Disneyland and she has a screenshot.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Tamra said, that's very housewipey, right, Seddie.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I'm just trying to start with that. Yeah,
- 24:18Speaker 2: but if I was going to show the screenshot, it
- 24:21Speaker 2: should not because this is where I'm having issue with
- 24:24Speaker 2: all of it. And I know we're skipping to the
- 24:25Speaker 2: end of the episode, but I feel like we just
- 24:27Speaker 2: cover all of this right now. Katie saying, I had
- 24:30Speaker 2: no idea there was drama about There was no idea.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I had no idea there was drama involving this paparazzi thing,
- 24:39Speaker 2: and my friend reached out to me and blah blah blah,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and now I just feel like she's a liar. That's
- 24:45Speaker 2: actually not what we saw. We saw a text that said,
- 24:48Speaker 2: can you confirm something along the lines of can you
- 24:51Speaker 2: confirm that Heather called the paparazzi on herself at Disney
- 24:56Speaker 2: And the response was yes, yes, that that is very different.
- 25:01Speaker 2: That is somebody that's doing the same thing that she's
- 25:03Speaker 2: accusing Heather for.
- 25:04Speaker 3: She's accusing that head and professional. Heather made that point.
- 25:10Speaker 2: I mean, it would have been different if we saw
- 25:12Speaker 2: the text that Heather sent saying to that pop razzi, right,
- 25:19Speaker 2: but like Heather just asking, I mean I could text
- 25:22Speaker 2: that to my freaking mom right now and she could
- 25:24Speaker 2: respond back yes, and we could show the text.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Of course. Well, I mean I think first of all,
- 25:29Speaker 3: it proves that so that's so new season, first season
- 25:34Speaker 3: housewifely that you have to come in, you know, especially
- 25:38Speaker 3: to get into the group and to kind of like
- 25:40Speaker 3: cop your moment and make a moment where you have
- 25:42Speaker 3: to bring up something like that and you know, go
- 25:44Speaker 3: against like the star, which is Heather. I mean, they're
- 25:46Speaker 3: all stars. Let's you know that. I see them as
- 25:49Speaker 3: all of them as stars. But you know Heather, which
- 25:51Speaker 3: is kind of like the one that they're afraid of
- 25:54Speaker 3: that you know, get some sort of different like respect
- 25:59Speaker 3: or you know, she's always like had like that role,
- 26:01Speaker 3: you know what I mean. It's like I felt that.
- 26:03Speaker 3: That's how I feel, you know that they've always So
- 26:06Speaker 3: she's going like the underdog is going like after Heather
- 26:09Speaker 3: and even though the rest of the girls are like,
- 26:10Speaker 3: are you sure you want to do that? Like, oh
- 26:12Speaker 3: my god, we're so scared for you. So she came in,
- 26:15Speaker 3: you know, as as the rookie, as a new one
- 26:17Speaker 3: already like trying to fight Heather.
- 26:19Speaker 2: But if you're going to go for somebody, you got
- 26:21Speaker 2: to go for them for something good. Because the two
- 26:23Speaker 2: things of like calling paparazzi and yourself. Yeah, I laughed
- 26:26Speaker 2: at it on the podcast with Taraman said pop parazzi
- 26:29Speaker 2: really aren't at Disney searching people out, but I will.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Everybody knows that. Even Kim Kardashian and Jaylo called the
- 26:35Speaker 3: paparazzi like yeah, like I'm waiting outside of Disneyland waiting
- 26:38Speaker 3: for Heather and Terry. They're not here. We care.
- 26:42Speaker 2: But also the whole thing about Heather accidentally tagging her
- 26:46Speaker 2: in a photo on her birthday and like, can you believe?
- 26:51Speaker 2: But who cares?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Who cares? Well, you know, I think that they need
- 26:57Speaker 3: to like dig a little deeper because it's like a
- 26:59Speaker 3: lot you know. I feel like to Heather obviously because
- 27:01Speaker 3: she has been part of the show for so many years.
- 27:03Speaker 3: When you have a new person that's coming into the group,
- 27:06Speaker 3: you're gonna do your homework. Yeah, you can do some digging,
- 27:09Speaker 3: and you know, you want to have information about this person.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Everybody does that. I'm not even not offended. Yeah I'm
- 27:15Speaker 3: not on the show.
- 27:16Speaker 2: And I still went on Katie's Instagram and looked.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Right, but I wish that well, Heather did say that,
- 27:21Speaker 3: she said that she's girled like through the instagram her
- 27:23Speaker 3: with Emily, I think, and so she did admit to that,
- 27:27Speaker 3: but it's kind of like, you know, you should have
- 27:29Speaker 3: told her. Yeah, you know what, Katie, we've been you know,
- 27:31Speaker 3: this friends group, have been friends for X amount of
- 27:34Speaker 3: years and you were coming you into the group, and
- 27:37Speaker 3: I had to do a little bit of homework. I mean,
- 27:39Speaker 3: I wanted to get more information about you, and that's
- 27:42Speaker 3: what it is. And by the way, you were doing
- 27:44Speaker 3: the same thing. You know, Katie was doing the same thing.
- 27:47Speaker 2: And then I didn't appreciate that our girl, Cynthia got Branda,
- 27:50Speaker 2: and Cynthia is one of my good friends. I love
- 27:52Speaker 2: cynthiaa and Cynthia really isn't she.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Should have been on the dating game.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I would have been one. Yeah, maybe
- 28:01Speaker 2: there's maybe more people and announce like why is there
- 28:04Speaker 2: only four girls? Like you know what, I'm gonna I'm
- 28:07Speaker 2: gonna text Cynthia when we get off. But I don't
- 28:09Speaker 2: think that. Cynthia probably went to Katie and was like, oh,
- 28:12Speaker 2: by the way, all Heather could talk to me about
- 28:15Speaker 2: was you. I think Heather probably, like all of us,
- 28:18Speaker 2: when you're about to meet a new housewife, say oh
- 28:21Speaker 2: I saw your friends with this person, give me the juice.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Right right, being detective, like they all do that, right.
- 28:28Speaker 3: But I think for sure, like Katie wanted to have
- 28:30Speaker 3: her moment like going against Heather, like saying, you know what,
- 28:33Speaker 3: like I'm new, but like I don't care. You know,
- 28:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna call you out and whatever. I need to
- 28:37Speaker 3: call you out so like you can respect me and
- 28:41Speaker 3: and you know, kind of like to set the grounds.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah, well, then Gina is upset that Katie told the
- 28:47Speaker 2: women about Heather, and Emily says, Heather is going to
- 28:50Speaker 2: fucking destroy her. You see, but I do think can.
- 28:58Speaker 3: We talk about it? I love how Gina said. I'd
- 29:00Speaker 3: love this that Gina said this. So when she has
- 29:03Speaker 3: Katie come over, she's like, are you going to talk
- 29:07Speaker 3: to Heather about it? Because if not, I'm going to
- 29:09Speaker 3: tell Hewther. Yeah, but she gave her that opportunity. I
- 29:12Speaker 3: think that that was a great movie. You know, That's
- 29:14Speaker 3: something that I would do. And I thought that was
- 29:16Speaker 3: really incredible. I mean, that's what real friends do.
- 29:20Speaker 2: And we ultimately find out that Katie pusses out and
- 29:22Speaker 2: so then Tam has to step in and do her work.
- 29:24Speaker 2: But before we even get to that, we're still at
- 29:27Speaker 2: the bar. We're at the Coyote ugly time, and I
- 29:30Speaker 2: just all I could think about is the next time
- 29:33Speaker 2: my drink comes out of the soda gun, I'm going
- 29:36Speaker 2: to re think about this scene because I'm going to
- 29:39Speaker 2: think about my choices, what beverage I've ordered, And I
- 29:43Speaker 2: also want to think about the man sitting at the
- 29:45Speaker 2: bar who's living his best life in his plaid flannel
- 29:50Speaker 2: just like.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Thating so good, that was fun. I would have wanted
- 29:57Speaker 3: to be there. I've never done something like that, so
- 29:58Speaker 3: I thought that was cool. And I'm all, I love
- 30:00Speaker 3: a creoty moment, So.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't. I didn't hate any of that moment.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I didn't love, and I would tell Emily to her
- 30:06Speaker 2: face I didn't love when we got the flashback of
- 30:09Speaker 2: Emily making the comment to Jen that she looked rich
- 30:15Speaker 2: wearing her coat.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Oh that was mean.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Yes, I thought it was a little like we'd already.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Jin's taking me accountability for not having money. It's very
- 30:26Speaker 2: clear that anything she does do her boyfriend's paying.
- 30:29Speaker 3: For, right, But isn't that the case for like a
- 30:32Speaker 3: lot of women, you know what I mean. It's like
- 30:34Speaker 3: the only thing is that Jen's not legally married to Ryan.
- 30:38Speaker 3: But you know, when you're in a relationship, whether it's
- 30:41Speaker 3: your boyfriend or your husband, you know, the men usually
- 30:44Speaker 3: pay for the trips or by you gifts or you know,
- 30:47Speaker 3: take care of the expenses.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I mean, do I need it with that? Are you
- 30:50Speaker 2: saying I need to marry somebody else? Because why is
- 30:52Speaker 2: that not happening for me?
- 30:53Speaker 3: Like?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Sometimes this morning I texted Tamra because we have one
- 30:57Speaker 2: million things to do today. And I said, why didn't
- 30:59Speaker 2: I just wake up and be like doctor Nicole, Like,
- 31:03Speaker 2: why is it just not endless finance? Like I just
- 31:06Speaker 2: want to have all the things.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Well, you don't know, I mean, yeah, but you know,
- 31:10Speaker 3: you never really know everybody's real life behind closed doors.
- 31:14Speaker 3: You know. That's all I can tell you. Not everything
- 31:16Speaker 3: you know that glitters this gold, you know. And I'm
- 31:18Speaker 3: not speaking for her. I'm just saying I can speak
- 31:21Speaker 3: for like a lot of women you know that you know,
- 31:23Speaker 3: they may have like this, you know, beautiful amazing life
- 31:27Speaker 3: financially or you know, have a certain kind of like
- 31:30Speaker 3: life that a lot of women aspire to, but sometimes
- 31:34Speaker 3: there's a big price side to pay for that.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean personally, I like to I.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Personally rather work, to tell you the truth. I mean,
- 31:41Speaker 3: it's great if you're like married to you know, a
- 31:43Speaker 3: wonderful man that supports everything you do, and you can
- 31:46Speaker 3: like keep your money and you can just pay for everything.
- 31:49Speaker 3: And you know, we can work because it makes us
- 31:50Speaker 3: feel good. And you know, we love our careers, we
- 31:53Speaker 3: love what we do. It makes us feel good about us.
- 31:55Speaker 3: And yes, you can contribute to the home or to
- 31:58Speaker 3: vacations or whatever it may be. But it's not like necessary.
- 32:02Speaker 3: But you know, I'm sure if your household needs it
- 32:04Speaker 3: and you make good income, like I don't have a
- 32:06Speaker 3: problem with that with contributing, Yeah, yeah, but I mean,
- 32:10Speaker 3: Jen is in the situation she's in now, and of course,
- 32:13Speaker 3: no matter what she does, whether it's glam or going
- 32:17Speaker 3: on a trip or driving whatever car, other girls are
- 32:20Speaker 3: going to come after her and say, you know, why
- 32:22Speaker 3: are you doing this, Like you don't have the money
- 32:23Speaker 3: to do this, And I think that's like really mean,
- 32:26Speaker 3: but also and literally necessary.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Clearly she doesn't have the money to do it. She's
- 32:30Speaker 2: I think this is also something that happens to so
- 32:33Speaker 2: many women her entire life. She has had somebody else
- 32:37Speaker 2: manage her money, manage her life, manage her financials. She's
- 32:40Speaker 2: unable to do it on her own, and now she's
- 32:43Speaker 2: in a situation.
- 32:44Speaker 3: She says she doesn't feel like up to part with
- 32:46Speaker 3: the rest of the ladies, Like she doesn't feel good
- 32:48Speaker 3: about herself. She doesn't think she's good enough, you know,
- 32:50Speaker 3: for this group of women, because you know, she doesn't
- 32:52Speaker 3: feel good about herself because her life right now is
- 32:54Speaker 3: like falling apart, but then other girls are like, but
- 32:57Speaker 3: you're not doing anything about it, right, Like that's like
- 32:59Speaker 3: their defense.
- 33:00Speaker 2: But I would be pissed if like you loaned me
- 33:02Speaker 2: your jacket and then you walked up to me like
- 33:06Speaker 2: as we're leaving and you were like, oh my gosh,
- 33:08Speaker 2: I didn't recognize you, teddy because you looked rich because
- 33:10Speaker 2: you're wearing my clothes. I'd be like, go fuck yourself,
- 33:14Speaker 2: me too, Like why yeah, like why wouldn't she find
- 33:17Speaker 2: herself in that moment? Like she didn't find she just
- 33:20Speaker 2: kind of was like, yeah, I am broke. Ha ha.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I was like, no, that's where you step in and
- 33:24Speaker 2: be like fuck you.
- 33:26Speaker 3: Well, because you have that personality, so do I. But
- 33:29Speaker 3: I think she's just kind of just like just wanted
- 33:32Speaker 3: to go away, and she's just like embarrassed and she's
- 33:35Speaker 3: just rather, you know, puke fun of herself and that's
- 33:38Speaker 3: what she's doing. Okay, Yeah I'm broke, who cares?
- 33:40Speaker 2: But no, I think they would stop if she would
- 33:44Speaker 2: actually grow some cojones and be like, yeah, you know
- 33:46Speaker 2: what it is, what it fucking is. I am broke,
- 33:49Speaker 2: I've made poor financial decisions. But you either like me
- 33:53Speaker 2: as I am and with my shit show relationship or
- 33:56Speaker 2: you don't but don't fucking love me your coat and
- 33:58Speaker 2: then make fun of me.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't think that was cool.
- 34:13Speaker 2: But then Vicky goes to Shannon's house. Vicky says Tamama
- 34:17Speaker 2: didn't have the balls to call and say she was
- 34:19Speaker 2: dropping out of the Trace and Meta show. Vicky says,
- 34:22Speaker 2: Tamara has been a girl in her veins and a
- 34:24Speaker 2: black heart. That's a fucking that's a big statement. Then
- 34:28Speaker 2: Shannon says this was an opportunity for her to make
- 34:30Speaker 2: additional income as a single mother of three girls in college,
- 34:33Speaker 2: and tam are dropping out devastation. I'm going to clear
- 34:37Speaker 2: a couple things up that I know for certain, because.
- 34:40Speaker 3: Yes, please do that, because I had some questions about that.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Okay, So first and foremost, Vicky and Shannon can spend
- 34:46Speaker 2: what you know, spend whatever narrative they want. But I
- 34:49Speaker 2: know for a fact that Tama was very upfront with
- 34:53Speaker 2: the women and Paris the rep or the agent or
- 34:57Speaker 2: whatever he is about how she was very busy with
- 34:59Speaker 2: her podcast businesses, home and Big Bear her family to
- 35:03Speaker 2: continue the Trace Amiga's tour. She also booked traders and
- 35:08Speaker 2: was going away on that as more things were being booked,
- 35:12Speaker 2: then she told them multiple times. And then when Paris,
- 35:15Speaker 2: who again signed without Tamor's consent while she was in Scotland,
- 35:21Speaker 2: asked Tammar to do more shows, she said no. Also,
- 35:25Speaker 2: Shannon's financial should not be Tamor's issue. That to me,
- 35:29Speaker 2: that's a weird deflection. Like I love you, I think
- 35:34Speaker 2: you're great. You know, we we do a good podcast together.
- 35:38Speaker 2: But like, at the end of the day, your financials
- 35:42Speaker 2: are not my problem and mine are not yours. Like
- 35:45Speaker 2: I'm having as a friend.
- 35:46Speaker 3: When you can't make your decisions, you know, based on
- 35:49Speaker 3: my finance. It's like you have to look out for
- 35:51Speaker 3: whatever's good for you.
- 35:53Speaker 2: When you're filming a show, when you have like Tamar
- 35:56Speaker 2: and I podcast multiple times a week. We have so
- 35:59Speaker 2: like we are both spread very thin and I don't
- 36:02Speaker 2: even film a TV show, so like I can only
- 36:04Speaker 2: imagine what she's going through. But she I heard and
- 36:08Speaker 2: I saw multiple times where she was like, this is
- 36:11Speaker 2: too much for me. I can't do this. I also
- 36:14Speaker 2: don't you know, like and I think they also, I
- 36:16Speaker 2: mean they hired Paris while she was in Scotland, so
- 36:19Speaker 2: she had to say no.
- 36:20Speaker 3: To him.
- 36:21Speaker 2: It wasn't like she term was not somebody to be
- 36:23Speaker 2: afraid to tell somebody.
- 36:25Speaker 3: Now, Yeah, that didn't seem true to me. You know,
- 36:28Speaker 3: I just didn't believe that, you know, after so many
- 36:31Speaker 3: years of friendship and you know, doing the tour and
- 36:33Speaker 3: the whole thing, that she would just like step away
- 36:36Speaker 3: and not have the conversation with him or let anybody know.
- 36:38Speaker 2: But also, it wasn't so many years. It was like
- 36:41Speaker 2: four shows. That's what we have to do. Four Yes,
- 36:45Speaker 2: our podcast has been going on for years. Their show
- 36:48Speaker 2: like they had four or five shows. But also we
- 36:50Speaker 2: need to make one additional point. Paris the rep he
- 36:54Speaker 2: actually no longer works with Vickey and Shannon m So, okay,
- 37:00Speaker 2: you rest your case. Yeah, so you know what I'm not.
- 37:03Speaker 2: You know, I'm not always gonna be biased, but in
- 37:05Speaker 2: this instance, I watched it play out, and I don't
- 37:08Speaker 2: like when I see those two coming. I mean, Tamar
- 37:12Speaker 2: did four shows and a span of five months with them.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Tam and I do probably five shows in the course
- 37:19Speaker 2: of a week.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Right, That's what I'm saying. It was her decision of
- 37:23Speaker 3: financial and besides out, like you said, she was in
- 37:25Speaker 3: Traders too. It was too much for her and as.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Your proba, can't do this from our living room, right right,
- 37:32Speaker 2: you know.
- 37:32Speaker 3: And besides that she has a choice. I mean, you know,
- 37:34Speaker 3: I get it to Shannon and Vickie me tamar but
- 37:37Speaker 3: you know, Tamarra did it what she can do it
- 37:39Speaker 3: and enjoyed it, and it was just time for her
- 37:41Speaker 3: to you know, continue with with her with her things.
- 37:45Speaker 3: And it wasn't that.
- 37:46Speaker 2: But then they showed Shannon got a letter from John's
- 37:48Speaker 2: lawyer saying she owes him seventy five thousand. Shannon gets emotional,
- 37:52Speaker 2: saying even going to court will cost more than seventy
- 37:55Speaker 2: five thousand. Then they showed Jen and Ryan packing for Vegas.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Jen wonders if you can't post in Vegas because everyone
- 38:02Speaker 2: will be judging why her broke asses in Vegas. She
- 38:05Speaker 2: starts to get emotional. Ryan says, bank accounts come and go,
- 38:08Speaker 2: but being rich in your soul is what matters. Jen
- 38:11Speaker 2: gets emotional, sayings she is hyper sensitive because she doesn't
- 38:14Speaker 2: feel equal to the women. All I know is Jen
- 38:20Speaker 2: has never met a home goods that she hasn't needed
- 38:23Speaker 2: to buy a mug from. Like I have a real
- 38:26Speaker 2: issue with sayings on things like I used to give
- 38:31Speaker 2: Marisol ship when she would like have the bedazzled cups,
- 38:34Speaker 2: and it would say things like I don't like words
- 38:36Speaker 2: on things. I really don't, okay, And what does she have?
- 38:40Speaker 3: What does Jenna? Oh my god, I mean between she
- 38:43Speaker 3: did have something.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Yes, I can't even remember what it was. It was
- 38:47Speaker 2: like something having to do with what was going on
- 38:50Speaker 2: is said on the mug and it's and we called it.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Oh it said be fucking nice. Okay, mug.
- 38:56Speaker 3: So the mugs are like sublip or be fi nice.
- 39:00Speaker 3: There's sb liberal messages to what you're trying to say.
- 39:03Speaker 3: I rather just say it with my mouth. Yeah.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't hate this scene, but I also like,
- 39:10Speaker 2: I don't know that I would really care if people
- 39:12Speaker 2: thought I was broke or not broke and going to
- 39:14Speaker 2: Vegas like do.
- 39:14Speaker 1: We do you? Do you?
- 39:16Speaker 2: Of course no.
- 39:17Speaker 3: I didn't enjoy it either, And the fact that she
- 39:21Speaker 3: made it seem like, oh, I'm worried about if we post.
- 39:26Speaker 3: You know, it's like who cares? Like, you know, do
- 39:28Speaker 3: you and go on your trip and you know you
- 39:30Speaker 3: don't have to give people explanations And by the way,
- 39:32Speaker 3: everybody knows that you are living with Ryan and he's
- 39:35Speaker 3: you know, taking care of everything. And what's wrong about
- 39:38Speaker 3: going on a trip with your friends, I mean with
- 39:40Speaker 3: your with Ryan, like your friends should be happy for you.
- 39:43Speaker 3: You know, she's going through a lot of shit, so
- 39:44Speaker 3: I never go to Vegas and have fun.
- 39:46Speaker 2: I think that might be the problem.
- 39:48Speaker 3: We're not.
- 39:49Speaker 2: We're seeing like I feel like a shell of gin.
- 39:52Speaker 2: And I don't know if this is because of Ryan
- 39:54Speaker 2: or what the situation is, but I haven't felt a
- 39:56Speaker 2: real connection with her in any of the women. So
- 39:59Speaker 2: we're just seeing her like you know, hitting the balls away.
- 40:03Speaker 2: But I mean, I think because then we get like
- 40:05Speaker 2: top editing where it's like Gina says Jen will spend
- 40:08Speaker 2: money on gleam for the golf event, and then they
- 40:10Speaker 2: show her in this glam chair like it's it's all
- 40:12Speaker 2: of it, But we're not. I haven't yet seen Jen
- 40:16Speaker 2: connecting with the other women. Really. It's very.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Protective. She's being protected of herself and you know she
- 40:24Speaker 3: might be scared, you know when you're in a like
- 40:26Speaker 3: situation like that too, and the girls aren't really being
- 40:29Speaker 3: so nice to her and kind of like giving her
- 40:31Speaker 3: that moment where she can be vulnerable. She's just kind
- 40:34Speaker 3: of like trying to avoid that.
- 40:37Speaker 2: But then we get to this golfing event and I
- 40:39Speaker 2: need to know, could Katie have really put her foot
- 40:41Speaker 2: in her mouth or did she know that hosting a
- 40:45Speaker 2: drinking and event police.
- 40:49Speaker 3: And Shannon was right next to her. That was like
- 40:52Speaker 3: the funny part. Shanna kind of like laughed and continued, like,
- 40:54Speaker 3: you know, doing her her nail.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 40:57Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I don't think she hadn't laughed. I think she like
- 40:59Speaker 2: died inside.
- 41:00Speaker 3: She was like no, but she was laughing. I looked
- 41:03Speaker 3: and she was like laughing. Yeah. And Heather of course
- 41:05Speaker 3: called it out. But you know, Shanna did laugh about it.
- 41:08Speaker 3: But I thought that was like poetaste. I mean, she
- 41:10Speaker 3: didn't make it funny and whatever. But you know, she
- 41:13Speaker 3: was being a house like listen, these new houseworks come
- 41:15Speaker 3: in and they know all the things they have to do.
- 41:18Speaker 2: They come in, they've got their friend, they've got their script.
- 41:21Speaker 2: They're like they're going for it, like they're like, I'm
- 41:23Speaker 2: gonna get it where I can get it. And so
- 41:26Speaker 2: that it may have been funny if it wasn't, because.
- 41:31Speaker 3: It was still so painful for Shannon. I wouldn't have
- 41:34Speaker 3: said that but I.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Mean we probably would have said it, but there's a
- 41:38Speaker 2: way to say things with shade, and there's a way
- 41:40Speaker 2: to say things and then pretend that you don't realize
- 41:42Speaker 2: you're saying it. That bugs me. If you're going to
- 41:44Speaker 2: be an asshole, own that you're a fucking asshole, right
- 41:49Speaker 2: like when you're like yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Yeah, like, but usually assholes don't own that they're assholes.
- 41:53Speaker 2: Oh, I love to own that I'm an asshole. I'm
- 41:55Speaker 2: the biggest asshole there is. I can be lovely, but
- 41:57Speaker 2: I'm an asshole. But then Katie goes to Gina's house,
- 42:02Speaker 2: we hear more about the paparazzi thing. But what I
- 42:05Speaker 2: did get confused about was now we're talking about Gina
- 42:09Speaker 2: and Travis. Oh, yeah, she's worried because they're not to get.
- 42:16Speaker 3: You made this, you did this, you did this, You
- 42:19Speaker 3: created the situation, and she made the choice. Well do
- 42:21Speaker 3: you think she's taking it back? I mean, she feels
- 42:24Speaker 3: lonely and I understand that, but they obviously still have
- 42:27Speaker 3: a relationship. When her kids were at Travis's house, so
- 42:31Speaker 3: I did like that. And she says he lives like
- 42:33Speaker 3: across the street or across the corner, like very close by,
- 42:37Speaker 3: so I'm.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Sure they both have those same you know, they look
- 42:41Speaker 2: like they're in a development where every you know, you
- 42:44Speaker 2: just rent those places. He probably rented one nearby so
- 42:47Speaker 2: their kids can go to and from. But I thought
- 42:49Speaker 2: the whole reason was that the kids needed separation from
- 42:52Speaker 2: the other kids, So then why are you sending them
- 42:54Speaker 2: over there? Oh?
- 42:56Speaker 3: I didn't. I didn't think it was that Benny did separation.
- 42:58Speaker 3: My understanding was that the house was in like big
- 43:01Speaker 3: enough that you know, everybody was on top of each other,
- 43:04Speaker 3: so you know, they needed more space, and they really
- 43:06Speaker 3: didn't have you know, the money right now. But no,
- 43:09Speaker 3: I mean I think the kids.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Am I not smart? Help me? If you're going to
- 43:14Speaker 2: rent two places in the same budget area, Kate, you
- 43:19Speaker 2: put those two moneies together and then get a slightly
- 43:22Speaker 2: bigger place that you can rent.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think there's more to that. We always
- 43:26Speaker 3: said that, you know what, we've been on the podcast before.
- 43:28Speaker 3: We've said that we think that there's more issues there.
- 43:31Speaker 3: You know, it's not only that, you know, they needed
- 43:33Speaker 3: a bigger place and they couldn't afford it.
- 43:35Speaker 2: But Gina owned her place. Gina owned her place. I
- 43:39Speaker 2: didn't realize that Gina bought her place. I do think
- 43:42Speaker 2: it's very different. They wanted to buy something, for sure, Yeah,
- 43:45Speaker 2: they wanted to buy something. And if she solely owns
- 43:48Speaker 2: her place and they were feeling like on top of
- 43:50Speaker 2: each other, then she's like, you got to figure it
- 43:52Speaker 2: out until you can step up and help us figure
- 43:55Speaker 2: this out. But then we get to Katie's golf event.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Katie's as the winner gets protest sunglasses. I gotta say
- 44:04Speaker 2: I was expecting Katie to be a better golfer.
- 44:08Speaker 3: I think we all were. I think everybody's going to
- 44:10Speaker 3: be surprised. Besides that, you would think she would also
- 44:13Speaker 3: golf with her husband, Like that's a fun activity to do,
- 44:16Speaker 3: like as a couple. Like if my husband was a golfer,
- 44:18Speaker 3: I would totally try to like take lessons and be better,
- 44:22Speaker 3: and that's something you know you can do as a couple.
- 44:23Speaker 3: I would think that that's fun.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I actually I would hate to golf.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I'm very grateful one it's not a golfer, but I
- 44:30Speaker 2: love to play pickleball. But I also probably wouldn't have
- 44:33Speaker 2: been so attracted. I couldn't take it to somebody who
- 44:36Speaker 2: worked in golf like it's just not my it's not
- 44:38Speaker 2: my thing, but she said she was. She was like,
- 44:41Speaker 2: when I saw him, I couldn't even take it. Yeah,
- 44:44Speaker 2: so hot.
- 44:47Speaker 3: But how do you feel like about him? Like that
- 44:49Speaker 3: seemed that they had together on the dinner table that
- 44:51Speaker 3: she's like, you know, talking her head off about everybody.
- 44:54Speaker 3: He seemed you know, well. I mean it's the first
- 44:56Speaker 3: time on camera, so it's like part from him as
- 44:58Speaker 3: well too, so kind of like the men don't know
- 45:00Speaker 3: what to say, they don't know how to act. But
- 45:03Speaker 3: I feel like he looked uncomfortable between you and I.
- 45:05Speaker 3: I feel like he looks uncomfortable.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I think he's just like a nice,
- 45:09Speaker 2: normal guy that's going with the flow. His wife wants
- 45:13Speaker 2: to be on this television show all of a sudden,
- 45:14Speaker 2: and he's like, all right, i'll show up. I'll do
- 45:17Speaker 2: what you want to do. I don't think he's upset
- 45:19Speaker 2: that he's on, but he's also like, how much do
- 45:22Speaker 2: you really want me to get involved?
- 45:24Speaker 3: Right?
- 45:24Speaker 2: Like please?
- 45:25Speaker 3: I got that feeling for him too.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Then Tarama tells Heather that Katie said she called the paparazzi.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Heather asked for proof because she's never done that. Heather
- 45:37Speaker 2: tells Katie she knows she's been talking about her in line.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Katie says she has a screenshot of the text, and
- 45:42Speaker 2: Heather swears on her kit. I really don't like when
- 45:45Speaker 2: people swear in their kids life. I know.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I don't think any of us liked it, or even
- 45:49Speaker 3: the girls that were there, they were like, what are
- 45:52Speaker 3: you doing? I never do that? And if I have
- 45:56Speaker 3: to do it, it's like, you're like, and if I.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Have to do it, You're like, and if I have
- 46:01Speaker 2: to do it, I'm lying because I really no, No.
- 46:05Speaker 3: I mean, I'd never like to do that. I agree,
- 46:07Speaker 3: but you know it is but with her in her case,
- 46:09Speaker 3: you can tell she's lying. I mean, because we all
- 46:12Speaker 3: know that, we all know that you have to reach
- 46:14Speaker 3: out to the paparazzi. They're not going to be there
- 46:16Speaker 3: waiting for you.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, when you walk outside of Craigs, you
- 46:20Speaker 2: don't have to reach out to the paparazzi.
- 46:22Speaker 3: No, there's certain places right which Tamra brings up that
- 46:25Speaker 3: apparently Heather likes that, you know, where everybody's different, Like
- 46:28Speaker 3: Tamara doesn't like it. I don't like it, but you're right.
- 46:31Speaker 3: I Craigs is there sometimes at mass Jo's in La
- 46:34Speaker 3: There's the other places, Giorgio Baldi, There's a lot of
- 46:38Speaker 3: places in La where you have the proparazzis waiting for
- 46:42Speaker 3: you outside, but not Disneyland but.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Not and but also it's at this point I wish
- 46:48Speaker 2: Heather would have just been like, yeah, my friend, you
- 46:52Speaker 2: know someone that works for me, probably let them know
- 46:54Speaker 2: was there.
- 46:55Speaker 3: It is what it is.
- 46:56Speaker 2: There were rumors about my marriage at the time, and
- 46:58Speaker 2: then I wanted to clear them up. Like that's really
- 47:00Speaker 2: all she needed to say, because it was during that
- 47:02Speaker 2: same time that we were hearing rumors correct. Things were
- 47:05Speaker 2: not great between Heather and Terry, and then all of
- 47:07Speaker 2: a sudden we saw all these pictures of them everywhere.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Just say like, I feel like a lot of the
- 47:13Speaker 3: ladies have a problem, just saying it like you see
- 47:16Speaker 3: it that way. I see it that way too, because
- 47:18Speaker 3: we're like authentic and real. But a lot of people,
- 47:21Speaker 3: and a lot of these girls on the show will
- 47:24Speaker 3: never be that person. You know, they'll never admit it
- 47:26Speaker 3: and they'll never say hey, you know, yeah, you know this,
- 47:29Speaker 3: I was going through this in my life.
- 47:31Speaker 1: You know.
- 47:31Speaker 3: We thought it would be a good idea to get
- 47:33Speaker 3: a nice picture of us showing that we're together. It's
- 47:35Speaker 3: important whatever, like you sink, But it's never gonna happen.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Do you think she's gonna admit to it? Do you
- 47:40Speaker 3: think ever? Do you think the rest of the season
- 47:42Speaker 3: she's gonna have But no, I got MoMA or in
- 47:44Speaker 3: their reunion and she's gonna admit to it.
- 47:46Speaker 2: No.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Some of these women stick to the story and to
- 47:48Speaker 3: their life and they're not gonna move on and say,
- 47:52Speaker 3: you know, ever say the truth.
- 47:53Speaker 2: And I truthfully think that if Katie doesn't move on
- 47:56Speaker 2: and find something else to talk about, this might be
- 47:58Speaker 2: our only season that we see because it's not enough.
- 48:03Speaker 2: It's not enough, not enough.
- 48:04Speaker 3: You know, this has been done so many times already.
- 48:08Speaker 3: It's like the typical move, you know, your first season,
- 48:11Speaker 3: and this is what she's doing, you know, So either
- 48:14Speaker 3: she's doing it because she really wants to do it,
- 48:16Speaker 3: or somebody's behind the scene is kind of like egging
- 48:19Speaker 3: her on to do it, and it is what it is.
- 48:22Speaker 3: But I agree she needs a lot more than this
- 48:24Speaker 3: to keep her on the show.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Yeah, the drama between Heather and Katie, it all feels
- 48:28Speaker 2: so surface and I don't particularly care about either of it,
- 48:32Speaker 2: but I do care about the scenes for next week
- 48:34Speaker 2: because they look delicious and it looks like the dramas
- 48:37Speaker 2: coming in hot. We we hear tam get a little mouthy,
- 48:40Speaker 2: so good.
- 48:42Speaker 3: I'm waiting for that. I'm waiting for ten. And I did.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Appreciate Tamra just telling all the women, even Shannon, who
- 48:49Speaker 2: she wasn't really talking to, like hey, I'm going to
- 48:52Speaker 2: tell Heather now because this feels weird, and like, you know,
- 48:56Speaker 2: if Tamar's gonna stir it, she's not doing it in
- 48:59Speaker 2: a way that like behind everybody's back.
- 49:01Speaker 3: She's like, no, they were all there.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah, And she wouldn't handle it. She didn't make it
- 49:06Speaker 2: more drama. That was and I don't think she ever
- 49:08Speaker 2: really made fun of Heather. She like lightly joked about
- 49:11Speaker 2: the situation, but I was like, you know what, I
- 49:13Speaker 2: thought she handled that well mm hmm.
- 49:16Speaker 3: And it kind of vindicated also camera when that was
- 49:19Speaker 3: brought up, you know, seasons ago, which I was happy
- 49:23Speaker 3: she got to prove her point because you know, sometimes
- 49:25Speaker 3: you went to season when you never get to make
- 49:28Speaker 3: your point and for people to believe you. So I
- 49:32Speaker 3: was happy that that played out because we see that,
- 49:35Speaker 3: you know, we see that what Tamara was saying, you know,
- 49:38Speaker 3: seasons Ago are is actually the truth.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's I think it's gonna get good, guys,
- 49:43Speaker 2: and I think we're gonna start to see the dynamics
- 49:45Speaker 2: in the friendship shift. So I'm excited. Please keep tuning in,
- 49:50Speaker 2: send us all your thoughts, questions, concerns, and we'll dig
- 49:53Speaker 2: into the next episode.
