- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello, Darlings, and welcome in. Welcome in. Today we are
- 0:23Speaker 2: talking the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Joining me is
- 0:28Speaker 2: my Darling co host Emily Dereesis.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Hello. Hi. Let's also add that we are recording this
- 0:37Speaker 1: in the evening, so shit has hit the fan.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Okay, we don't know it all right, that's a really
- 0:43Speaker 2: good point. And while we're doing that, I am taking
- 0:46Speaker 2: off my necklace because I just don't think it's the
- 0:48Speaker 2: vibe with this sweater. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm taking
- 0:50Speaker 2: it off, Okay. And then and then furthermore, I to
- 0:57Speaker 2: be completely transparent, I am heavy a can this drink
- 1:03Speaker 2: right now? Because it is the evening and boy, she's
- 1:06Speaker 2: had a day.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Well, so Darling's we got about forty minutes before.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Before things turn, yeah, and they get real weird, so
- 1:15Speaker 2: we better hop too. Emily's been there with me before.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I don't know if you guys have noticed. Probably doesn't
- 1:22Speaker 2: happen often. I usually don't imbibe during the show, but
- 1:25Speaker 2: today's a special day. And I made a little a
- 1:31Speaker 2: stew this evening. I did some cooking, and that always
- 1:35Speaker 2: makes you want to have a drink afterwards, you know,
- 1:38Speaker 2: was it us?
- 1:40Speaker 1: So it was a saucy dish. So you said, Brett,
- 1:42Speaker 1: we're going to need spoons for this.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Haa. Okay. What Emily is referring to Darlings is below
- 1:50Speaker 2: deep down, Enda, And there's a little of drama dolling
- 1:54Speaker 2: on the show already. And you know what, the chef
- 1:59Speaker 2: told her that she only needed folk and knife tends out.
- 2:02Speaker 2: That's a soup. She stews paste. And as we all know,
- 2:07Speaker 2: there's always going to be hurdles.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Whatever you do is hurdles.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Captain Jason is back and looking great. That recap is
- 2:18Speaker 2: upover on thepatreon dot com slash drama Darling, So head
- 2:22Speaker 2: on over there. It's the first two episodes that we
- 2:24Speaker 2: did today, before we get into Beverly Hills. I want
- 2:27Speaker 2: to do a little dash of dish, A dash of
- 2:30Speaker 2: dish thing di dash Okay. So first and foremost, I
- 2:36Speaker 2: just saw that Derenda Medley is going to have her
- 2:39Speaker 2: own show set at Bluestone manor rumors. I'm seeing this
- 2:45Speaker 2: that taste of underscore reality. Rumors of this concept broke
- 2:49Speaker 2: in August of twenty twenty four, and they say that
- 2:53Speaker 2: they have a hunch that this is going to happen.
- 2:58Speaker 2: So what do you say? I mean, I think that
- 3:00Speaker 2: this is great. I don't know if we've gotten the
- 3:02Speaker 2: I don't think we've gotten the official word. But this
- 3:04Speaker 2: is looking like it's heating up.
- 3:06Speaker 1: What is the show?
- 3:08Speaker 2: Does it? Met Emily? It's a blast? I mean in
- 3:11Speaker 2: the context Stone Manner. Do you need more?
- 3:15Speaker 1: I mean I would take a whole Bravo. I would
- 3:18Speaker 1: be totally fine if you just covered the three weeks
- 3:21Speaker 1: it takes her to decorate for Christmas and put that
- 3:23Speaker 1: up ahead of Christmas.
- 3:24Speaker 2: That's all we need. You're right, that's all you know?
- 3:27Speaker 3: What can you wake up in the morning? I take
- 3:29Speaker 3: up at five? Go ahead, say you do in the
- 3:31Speaker 3: grid it's just so beautiful. Then look at the tree,
- 3:34Speaker 3: and then look at what Jevy you give me a make.
- 3:44Speaker 1: No great show?
- 3:46Speaker 2: I will love it. I love her talking about just
- 3:52Speaker 2: not even minutia because it's but it is the minutia
- 3:54Speaker 2: of life. But the minutia of life on Bluestone Manner
- 3:59Speaker 2: is something that we've all gotten a little taste of,
- 4:02Speaker 2: and I think it would be nice to get a
- 4:04Speaker 2: real scoop of it. So I'm here for it. Maybe
- 4:08Speaker 2: it's gonna be like a bed and breakfast. Maybe she
- 4:10Speaker 2: hosts people. Maybe it's like different celebrities coming in and out.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Oh I don't know. I mean I feel like if
- 4:17Speaker 2: they haven't made it official, I mean, we're gonna wrap
- 4:20Speaker 2: up the concept right here, right now, Emily.
- 4:22Speaker 1: So, why don't they move that French Villa Blanca show
- 4:27Speaker 1: over to Bluestone and have Lisa vander Pump run it
- 4:30Speaker 1: out of Bluestone?
- 4:31Speaker 2: Oh my god? Where did that show go? Vander Pump Villa? Like,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I thought that they shot something they did a whole
- 4:38Speaker 2: other season, and I remember Stossy was there. It disappear it? Yeah, right,
- 4:43Speaker 2: that's what I'm saying. Where is it? I remember them
- 4:46Speaker 2: filming that and talking about it over like a year ago. No,
- 4:51Speaker 2: okay with Sassy, I am totally exaggerating, but I'm gonna
- 4:54Speaker 2: say at least eight months ago. It was a lot
- 4:58Speaker 2: of time ago.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been months for sure. I uh I we
- 5:06Speaker 1: didn't even finish watching it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Uh oops, see dupes that got shelved with House of Villains.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I think if you moved it to
- 5:20Speaker 1: Bluestone and had Lisa run your house Derinda, we wouldn't care.
- 5:25Speaker 1: It would be fine and we could just say it's
- 5:27Speaker 1: in France.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Talk about two totally different aesthetics, Derinda Medley and Lisa
- 5:33Speaker 2: vander Pump. Yeah, yes, the showdown the decor, the house
- 5:39Speaker 2: decor showdown between vander Pump and Medley. All right, if
- 5:44Speaker 2: if a house were to be well, I mean, look,
- 5:46Speaker 2: it's already like that. I mean, whose house are you
- 5:48Speaker 2: gonna choose? Emily and darlings who are listening. Are you
- 5:51Speaker 2: gonna choose vander Pump's house to live in? Or are
- 5:53Speaker 2: you gonna choose Bluestone manor I already know bluestone manner, you.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Know, honestly? Yeah, because I like the land of Bluestone.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Oh, you're getting that property. You are getting property, You
- 6:10Speaker 2: are in your own You are a stone's throw from
- 6:14Speaker 2: the movers and the shakers, You get people coming up.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I mean, I'm I'm loving. That's just how I want
- 6:20Speaker 2: my life. That's why I live in Santa Clarita, and
- 6:24Speaker 2: why I am the Queen of Santa Clarita. Have you
- 6:26Speaker 2: heard of it?
- 6:26Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys are familiar with Santa Clarita. Well,
- 6:30Speaker 1: but let me say also that where Lisa lives. I
- 6:32Speaker 1: get a little nervous about you mentioned movers and shakers,
- 6:36Speaker 1: but the literal movers and shakers of earthquakes and how
- 6:39Speaker 1: that house is. Oh, it makes me a little nervous.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And they're on that cliff and you're going over the
- 6:45Speaker 1: edge of those tiny ponies.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Pony, that's all right, Pete.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Was he one already went over?
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, one already went over. Oh my gosh, we did not. Anyway, Well,
- 6:58Speaker 2: I hope this all comes to fruition about her show.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'm very excited about that. Also in the dash of
- 7:04Speaker 2: news is that Paige Di Sorbo and Joe d Emilio
- 7:11Speaker 2: was they were spotted holding hands. Pardon I said, Oh
- 7:15Speaker 2: yeah I did.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I did catch.
- 7:16Speaker 2: A wave spotted holding hands at the Supel Bull And
- 7:22Speaker 2: so good for her. You know, she's out, she's about,
- 7:25Speaker 2: she's just living her life. Go for it, page go
- 7:28Speaker 2: you know, do it.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not in, you don't know anybody.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Anything, absolutely not, So do it up. And then lastly,
- 7:38Speaker 2: I mean, I think we're all going to be celebrating
- 7:41Speaker 2: this and that is that Ashley Darby finalizes her divorce.
- 7:46Speaker 2: TMZ is reporting Ashley is closing the book on her
- 7:51Speaker 2: marriage to Michael. Because their divorce is now official. TMZ
- 7:55Speaker 2: has learned. They always they're always learning, They're learned. And
- 8:01Speaker 2: it uh became a done deal Monday, according to online
- 8:06Speaker 2: court records. And you know what that means, Emily.
- 8:11Speaker 1: That it was maybe on Friday official, Well Monday they
- 8:14Speaker 1: got uploaded, the nuts and the bults of it.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I guess I was. I was going more with this,
- 8:25Speaker 2: just surviving, were healing and robing. Probably Friday, Probably Friday, Timbalta,
- 8:34Speaker 2: ask your doctor. Okay, Well that's all the dash of news.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I told you. It was just a little.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Stacy dash of news.
- 8:42Speaker 2: The stacy dash of news. Wow, good stuff.
- 8:47Speaker 3: On my crossover.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Oh, Allan Allen, how dare are you faithful? I'm so
- 8:57Speaker 2: excited for this week's Trader. It's gonna happen. We're going
- 9:01Speaker 2: to recap it over the weekend. It will be up
- 9:04Speaker 2: on Monday. All right, So where are we? Okay, we're welcoming.
- 9:09Speaker 2: We're welcoming ourselves in to Beverly.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Thank you. Wow. This was a really intense episode, and
- 9:19Speaker 2: I mean this was Sutton's episode. This was a Sutton extravaganza.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I've never seen the likes of it ever her.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean yeah, I think we almost needed it.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Not that not that she deserved it after how she
- 9:37Speaker 1: treated Dury, but as an audience, we needed to see
- 9:40Speaker 1: what was behind Sutton to cause her to be like,
- 9:44Speaker 1: we gotta go, let's go shut up, Durate, shut up,
- 9:46Speaker 1: we have to go now on the way to ourselves party. Yeah,
- 9:50Speaker 1: we needed to see some backstory on Sutton to remember
- 9:53Speaker 1: why we love her, right, Yeah.
- 9:57Speaker 2: It does make sense. What in an incredible, I think,
- 10:02Speaker 2: really touching episode with her sharing her story, which I
- 10:05Speaker 2: think will be incredibly relatable to so many people, and
- 10:11Speaker 2: very brave of her to go back to her childhood
- 10:13Speaker 2: home like that and basically relive, I mean, bring to
- 10:20Speaker 2: the surface all these emotions and deal with them and
- 10:23Speaker 2: essentially I want to say closure because I feel like
- 10:27Speaker 2: maybe she obviously has had her own journey and maybe
- 10:30Speaker 2: had closure a long time ago, but reopening that wound
- 10:35Speaker 2: by visiting her childhood home and talking about her dad
- 10:38Speaker 2: was probably very healing at this point in her life
- 10:41Speaker 2: and with her relationship with her mom.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah. When it's interesting too that it was like years
- 10:49Speaker 1: like she still had access to that space for a while.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It sounded like, and then her mom moved, but like
- 10:57Speaker 1: to then you think like, oh, well she must she
- 11:01Speaker 1: was there, so she probably got through some of this stuff.
- 11:04Speaker 1: But it's interesting the years later, like, no, I would
- 11:07Speaker 1: like to still revisit that space and still have, you know,
- 11:12Speaker 1: go through some of this process.
- 11:13Speaker 2: That is a scary thing. I mean, if you think
- 11:16Speaker 2: about putting yourself in that situation and you think about
- 11:18Speaker 2: the places that you experienced trauma, and then all of
- 11:23Speaker 2: a sudden you're going to willingly put yourself back into
- 11:27Speaker 2: that space. I don't know if I'd ever even want
- 11:31Speaker 2: to do that, to be honest with you, I don't
- 11:33Speaker 2: know if I want to reopen those doors literally I
- 11:36Speaker 2: don't know literally open doors.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I don't know. It's for everyone, you know, right.
- 11:41Speaker 2: She's strong though, and like she wanted to. I'm sure
- 11:46Speaker 2: it's a part of her wanted to tell her story
- 11:48Speaker 2: so that people can understand this, Like her mom is
- 11:52Speaker 2: a therapist. That was bonkers to me, thank you, because
- 11:58Speaker 2: I was like, I was gobsmacked, and.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I was like, it's got to be physical therapist.
- 12:05Speaker 2: That's what earlier Zach things. I was thinking too, and
- 12:09Speaker 2: it's not I said the same thing. I was like, well,
- 12:13Speaker 2: she's doing physical therapy. That's really hard work for someone
- 12:16Speaker 2: of her age. Like it's physical, they cannot be that,
- 12:19Speaker 2: you know.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I was like, it's absolutely not psychiatry. We know that
- 12:24Speaker 1: that's off the table. So it's no, it must be
- 12:26Speaker 1: physical fitness real but it's a physical therapist.
- 12:30Speaker 2: That made more sense, or like an animal therapist. I
- 12:34Speaker 2: was going through my rolodex of types of therapists, which
- 12:37Speaker 2: there's probably a million, but like to land on that
- 12:41Speaker 2: was fascinating. But I guess my point is that Sutton,
- 12:44Speaker 2: her mom is a therapist. But Sutton is doing the work.
- 12:49Speaker 2: And yes, and her mom, God love her. You know,
- 12:55Speaker 2: it makes so much sense. I mean that she probably
- 12:57Speaker 2: shut down at that point in her life during what
- 13:00Speaker 2: was happening with her husband and was never to reopen
- 13:05Speaker 2: that trauma again and maybe gets her fulfillment towards helping
- 13:09Speaker 2: other people. And I wonder if, like my therapist, she
- 13:14Speaker 2: will share with me if needed, if it's an example,
- 13:19Speaker 2: she will share her own life with me, if it's
- 13:22Speaker 2: something that is identifiable, or something it's a teaching moment,
- 13:26Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. That's how I feel like
- 13:29Speaker 2: she works. She will go there a lot of therapists
- 13:33Speaker 2: probably don't do that, and so I just wonder. I
- 13:37Speaker 2: imagine that her mom probably doesn't, but it would be
- 13:42Speaker 2: helpful if she did.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she has to be retired. Now. I
- 13:48Speaker 1: wonder when she retired, and I wonder, like what her
- 13:53Speaker 1: specialty was, like was she a psychiatrist or a psychologist
- 14:00Speaker 1: or did she work with a certain type of person? Like, yeah,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I have I have so many questions now about RepA
- 14:09Speaker 1: Oh questions.
- 14:11Speaker 2: And then I love that at that brunch they're talking
- 14:16Speaker 2: about it gave me the chills when they're talking about
- 14:20Speaker 2: visiting the old house and Suton's like, is just right
- 14:25Speaker 2: around the corna? And then the Reeva's like, is just
- 14:30Speaker 2: around the ConA? Is this a Tennessee Williams play? It
- 14:38Speaker 2: gave me the chills. It was haunting, it was intriguing.
- 14:44Speaker 2: It was a moment like that was something that was
- 14:48Speaker 2: some serious Southern drama happening right there between the two
- 14:53Speaker 2: of them. And then Reeva's like, well, I mean we're
- 14:57Speaker 2: not going inside. Somebody lives there. And then and It's like,
- 15:00Speaker 2: well we might ring the door bell, and then Reba goes,
- 15:05Speaker 2: oh horrors. No. I was like I want to use
- 15:11Speaker 2: that expression all the time.
- 15:13Speaker 1: No, yeah, I mean I got I get the feeling
- 15:16Speaker 1: like sudden can breeze in and out of town. But
- 15:19Speaker 1: Reba's going to look at these people in the face
- 15:21Speaker 1: and I can see her being like, I don't want
- 15:23Speaker 1: to be vulnerable in front of these people, like two
- 15:26Speaker 1: friends over from acquaintances, and I'm gonna have to hear
- 15:30Speaker 1: about this from like I get it completely.
- 15:33Speaker 2: It's too close to home. You're right, yeah, sudden comes in,
- 15:36Speaker 2: she comes out. Meanwhile, when she was like, well, we're
- 15:39Speaker 2: not going in, somebody lives there. And the second she said, well,
- 15:43Speaker 2: we might ring the doorbell, and both Garcela and Kyle
- 15:45Speaker 2: looked at her like that's on the schedule, like we're
- 15:48Speaker 2: going there, and the producer said they already cleared it,
- 15:51Speaker 2: they already sign it, you know, like yeah, they all
- 15:55Speaker 2: hundred percent are going to go there and the people
- 15:57Speaker 2: are going to let them in. And they were like hello,
- 15:58Speaker 2: welcome in, and Hia, this is the real houseves Beverly Hills.
- 16:03Speaker 2: You know, they were psyched.
- 16:07Speaker 1: But they first showed it, I thought like, oh, are
- 16:10Speaker 1: they going to give us the vibe that they don't
- 16:12Speaker 1: want to be on film because they really didn't show
- 16:15Speaker 1: us the homeowners right away. It was like a mom
- 16:18Speaker 1: and maybe, uh I get it, maybe your daughter And
- 16:23Speaker 1: they shot it like they were fully blocked by the
- 16:26Speaker 1: leaves and the trees. I was like, oh, what, so
- 16:28Speaker 1: did they not want to be on here right? And
- 16:31Speaker 1: then they're like yeah, I felt like maybe they were
- 16:34Speaker 1: going to do They weren't sure how they were going
- 16:36Speaker 1: to present it, but they like had that coverage.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yes, just in case. Yeah, and they're like, oh, we're
- 16:43Speaker 2: happy to son, so Wednesday's going to be on.
- 16:47Speaker 1: The best is like I was also like, were they like, oh,
- 16:50Speaker 1: we'll walk around the house with you, let's move And
- 16:52Speaker 1: they were like you know what, that's okay, right, you
- 16:55Speaker 1: just say your march march.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Meanwhile, they're like watching tonight and they're like, lady's not
- 17:02Speaker 2: what I expected to be. And now we know alright.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sorry to make light of it, but
- 17:09Speaker 2: it's like, yeah, maybe they didn't know. I would think
- 17:15Speaker 2: full disclosures parency, Well, do you have to disclose it
- 17:20Speaker 2: to every owner because like, yes, the next owner maybe,
- 17:25Speaker 2: but maybe not the second or third. I mean, I
- 17:28Speaker 2: bet that's a.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Regional thing that you do or don't have to do.
- 17:31Speaker 1: But yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Well, when they went into the to her father's room
- 17:39Speaker 2: that he designed in.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Every TV room, I loved that room.
- 17:43Speaker 2: I loved it too. I was like, I never thought
- 17:45Speaker 2: I wanted a wood burning stone before. And then Yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 2: her memories of her father are so vivid and beautiful.
- 17:58Speaker 2: It's really incredible to see. I love that she was
- 18:02Speaker 2: honoring his memory by sharing so many things about him
- 18:07Speaker 2: and being so close to him. And when Garcel said
- 18:10Speaker 2: in her confessional, I think that she had a very
- 18:14Speaker 2: you know, she was close with her dad and they
- 18:16Speaker 2: had a very like great relationship, and I think that
- 18:19Speaker 2: Riba was jealous of that. That was quite something to
- 18:25Speaker 2: say it was.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I thought maybe that was a little unfair, only because
- 18:32Speaker 1: Riba made mention of her father and Riba and her
- 18:36Speaker 1: father being close, and I thought, well, maybe Riba just
- 18:39Speaker 1: didn't know how to be close to Sutton like maybe
- 18:43Speaker 1: she was. You know, maybe Riba and her mom weren't
- 18:47Speaker 1: didn't have a great relationship, So I mean, maybe there
- 18:51Speaker 1: was a jealousy there. Who knows. I just thought like
- 18:53Speaker 1: there could be more to it than that.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I mean, it might not be just that baseline that
- 18:58Speaker 2: she yes, it is, and I tend to I when
- 19:01Speaker 2: she said that, I thought, I think that's crossing the
- 19:04Speaker 2: line a little bit because I know it's your opinion,
- 19:07Speaker 2: but this is such a fragile situation and then you're
- 19:12Speaker 2: dealing with just a lot of trauma there. It just
- 19:15Speaker 2: was like it felt a little insensitive, especially you know
- 19:20Speaker 2: Sutton's going to see this. But garcel she's really tight.
- 19:24Speaker 2: They're tight. So maybe she even told her that, and
- 19:28Speaker 2: maybe Sutton's like, yeah, you're right. Maybe she thinks she
- 19:31Speaker 2: has a point. I just hope Reeba doesn't watch it,
- 19:34Speaker 2: although she seems to watch the show because she knew
- 19:38Speaker 2: Kyle Yea Garcille's weird son. As she put it, I've
- 19:45Speaker 2: seen him. But yeah. When Sutton gets to the point
- 19:51Speaker 2: where she's explaining what happened about when when her father
- 19:58Speaker 2: did what he did, she said that her mother was
- 20:00Speaker 2: home and she was in the kitchen and she knew
- 20:03Speaker 2: he was taking a xanax, he was medicating with alcohol,
- 20:08Speaker 2: and there was a loaded gun in the house, and
- 20:12Speaker 2: that he took his own life while she was home,
- 20:15Speaker 2: which is so unbelievably heartbreaking. So when Sutton says, I
- 20:24Speaker 2: might have a little pent up resentment. And I've never,
- 20:29Speaker 2: like my mom's never dealt with this and we don't
- 20:31Speaker 2: talk about it. That does check out, you know, to me.
- 20:36Speaker 2: And I just think, Wow, what different journeys they're on,
- 20:41Speaker 2: because and the way that she has some resentment towards
- 20:45Speaker 2: her mother, when her mother probably felt like it was
- 20:49Speaker 2: completely out of her hands. This was something, This was
- 20:53Speaker 2: a car that was driving itself and she could never
- 20:57Speaker 2: catch up with it. I don't know how she could
- 20:59Speaker 2: control this. I mean it seemed like who knows what
- 21:03Speaker 2: you could, especially back then, you know.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think her mom being some kind of
- 21:08Speaker 1: therapist whenever she met Sutton's dad. I wonder if she
- 21:16Speaker 1: was in a much better place or she was not
- 21:19Speaker 1: in a better place, but she just thought like, oh,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I can fix this, Like maybe it was like a
- 21:24Speaker 1: slow burn on the growth of this mental illness and
- 21:27Speaker 1: she was able to help it along the way, and
- 21:30Speaker 1: then after a while it was just like an uncontrollable thing.
- 21:35Speaker 1: And I think I feel bad that Sutton is still
- 21:38Speaker 1: in a place where she thinks her mom could have
- 21:40Speaker 1: stopped it somehow.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree that. And then also and who knows
- 21:46Speaker 2: how long or if ever things go away. But when
- 21:50Speaker 2: she feels like that last time she saw her father
- 21:53Speaker 2: that she should have sat with him longer or she
- 21:55Speaker 2: was and I just thought, no, don't, don't blame yourself,
- 21:58Speaker 2: you know, you never you just don't know these things.
- 22:01Speaker 2: People take on so much guilt for no reason. And
- 22:06Speaker 2: I hated to see her feel like that.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I think her mom seems to be very good
- 22:13Speaker 1: at boundaries and saying what she wants. Yes, but you're
- 22:18Speaker 1: seeing in real time how that also, like you build
- 22:21Speaker 1: up walls to deal with stuff, and you're seeing it
- 22:25Speaker 1: with her in real time. It's like, I don't want
- 22:27Speaker 1: to think about it, so I'm just not going to
- 22:28Speaker 1: think about it, you know. And I think that's how
- 22:31Speaker 1: she feels.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Sutton wanted to deal with it, probably her whole adult life.
- 22:36Speaker 2: She wanted to deal that. She wanted to talk about it.
- 22:40Speaker 2: And so when they say it's just around the corner,
- 22:45Speaker 2: Sutton saying, like metaphorically speaking, our trauma is right around
- 22:50Speaker 2: the corner. Let's take a look at it, let's deal
- 22:52Speaker 2: with it. And her mother is saying, it's just right
- 22:57Speaker 2: around the corner, and I'm not going to go Oh then.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I go the other way, right I go Kyle's
- 23:04Speaker 1: route for running.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I just gonna say, oh, you can't go down Kent
- 23:11Speaker 2: or whatever it.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Was Henry you looking for Henry? No, you ain't gonna
- 23:15Speaker 1: find Henry that way.
- 23:17Speaker 2: All the street names are just like very like straight
- 23:22Speaker 2: laced Southern men. It's like, oh, looking for JOm Street.
- 23:28Speaker 2: All you're looking for can Oh you're looking for Bill.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Bill Street is right across from Alan Street. Just so
- 23:38Speaker 2: many just plane names from it. Oh tough. When Garcel
- 23:47Speaker 2: and Riba talk on the porch, this was like, you know,
- 23:52Speaker 2: her trying to get her, shake her up and say,
- 23:55Speaker 2: you know, I think she'd really like to hear you
- 23:58Speaker 2: say that you're proud of her, because she's probably of
- 24:00Speaker 2: how far she's come, and and Riba just being like,
- 24:03Speaker 2: I don't think it's any of your business. I don't
- 24:06Speaker 2: want to insult you, but I think you have no clue.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I actually the preview of this conversation made me really uncomfortable. Yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 1: But then seeing the conversation, I actually appreciated that Garcell
- 24:24Speaker 1: was walking into a swamp of family drama, trauma, everything,
- 24:30Speaker 1: and I appreciated that she was doing that for her friend.
- 24:34Speaker 1: But as far as Riba knows this is a stranger
- 24:39Speaker 1: coming into the thing that she cannot open up to,
- 24:43Speaker 1: and she had her defenses up. But when you see
- 24:47Speaker 1: more of that scene, I kind of appreciated Riba being like.
- 24:53Speaker 2: What is this?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Like, what is this? Does she put you up to
- 24:56Speaker 1: the like she kind.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Of likes everything is a prank. Like it's like being
- 25:00Speaker 2: around Emily, you know, because she's a a prankster. You
- 25:03Speaker 2: think you're gonna get prank. She's like, what's in his box?
- 25:06Speaker 2: You know? Wait, what are you trying to do right now?
- 25:10Speaker 2: She's always looking around like something's coming.
- 25:15Speaker 1: I also don't know how comfortable she is filming something
- 25:19Speaker 1: that's so painful, like oh your daughter, Hey, your daughter,
- 25:23Speaker 1: and you don't have the greatest relationship, you know, And
- 25:26Speaker 1: it's like, oh you now are exposed to.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Shut it down, and you shut down. Yeah, I hand
- 25:33Speaker 2: it to Garcel. She will just throw stuff out there
- 25:36Speaker 2: like but also recklessly, but just pretty intense stuff she
- 25:41Speaker 2: will throw down.
- 25:43Speaker 1: But the way she matched ree but with you're right,
- 25:45Speaker 1: it isn't my business. I was comforted by that too.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I was like, thank you, Garsia, like this is I
- 25:51Speaker 1: love that? And Riba left her guard down at that
- 25:54Speaker 1: point too. That's when they kind of did have some
- 25:57Speaker 1: kind of like break.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and a good and I thought Garcel's pivot towards
- 26:03Speaker 2: I don't have my mother. I wish there are things
- 26:05Speaker 2: that I could say to her.
- 26:07Speaker 1: M hmm.
- 26:08Speaker 2: And then Reeba was like death is so final in that,
- 26:14Speaker 2: Like can you imagine if she's your therapist? Like I
- 26:17Speaker 2: can't even imagine the advice, you know. I mean maybe
- 26:19Speaker 2: some people just really like how cut and dry she is.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Maybe that's a great coping mechanism. It is just for
- 26:26Speaker 2: someone to be like they're gone though. Right, It's just
- 26:30Speaker 2: around the corner, is it? And then it's final? And
- 26:37Speaker 2: that is around your conna. You don't have to go
- 26:41Speaker 2: around that corner. You choose about what's around that corner.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Now you're gonna run through that cemetery do it early?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's right across the street from cal Street
- 26:55Speaker 2: next to Kent. Oh. Yeah. That was a nice moment.
- 27:05Speaker 2: When we saw that wedding photo of Sutton with her
- 27:08Speaker 2: father that looked exactly like her daughter.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I cannot get a beat. I know how old Sutton is,
- 27:17Speaker 1: but sometimes they will show pictures that I'm like, did
- 27:20Speaker 1: I go to college with Sutton like she looks.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yeah, like she does.
- 27:24Speaker 1: She does, don't like they're stand out age. Yeah, I'm like,
- 27:30Speaker 1: is she my niece? Like sometimes I don't. When they
- 27:32Speaker 1: show a flashback photo, I'm like, what there was this
- 27:35Speaker 1: taken two years ago? And how old is she two
- 27:39Speaker 1: years ago? Because I know how old she is now?
- 27:41Speaker 2: Like, how old is she now?
- 27:43Speaker 1: She's like fifty three?
- 27:44Speaker 2: Fifty three? Okay, So I mean, but I just know
- 27:49Speaker 2: you're right. My pictures are like nothing at all as
- 27:54Speaker 2: we know her today, and they go from north to south.
- 27:58Speaker 2: It's hard.
- 27:59Speaker 1: It's hard to but it's not like the photos look old.
- 28:02Speaker 1: That's the thing. The photos look like current. It fucks
- 28:06Speaker 1: with me. There's one picture where she's like like, she
- 28:12Speaker 1: looks like she's twenty three and the photo looks like
- 28:15Speaker 1: it's from twenty fifteen that they showed, and I'm like,
- 28:19Speaker 1: I know that top is at forever twenty one, Like.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yeah, right, oh my god. What about when Abby was
- 28:30Speaker 2: trying to get Reba to like dress up for the brunch.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Fluff it up, fluff it up.
- 28:37Speaker 2: You know, no, you want to get dressed. I'm fucking
- 28:42Speaker 2: dressed the fact that she didn't even drop an f
- 28:45Speaker 2: bomb is just beyond me. But I'm dressed. And then
- 28:50Speaker 2: he kept pushing, which I loved because you kind of
- 28:53Speaker 2: have to be salty back to people who are salty
- 28:55Speaker 2: and they have a little more respect for you. And
- 28:58Speaker 2: I feel like he was like, you know, like get better,
- 29:03Speaker 2: do yourself better, fluff it up. Nope, Okay, yeah. You know.
- 29:07Speaker 1: It's funny because, like Reba, it seems that like this
- 29:12Speaker 1: upper whatever level of wealth Sutton has, I don't think
- 29:18Speaker 1: she grew up with no.
- 29:20Speaker 2: That was clear from the house, right.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Working middle class, and I don't think like so for
- 29:28Speaker 1: Avi to be like, we're going to dress for brunch,
- 29:31Speaker 1: I'm sure he was like, no, dude, you're so right.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I actually loved learn that about Sutton. I just assumed
- 29:38Speaker 2: that she grew up super wealthy and it looks like
- 29:40Speaker 2: it's just middle class, working parents. And moving into that
- 29:46Speaker 2: the conversation at the end where finally the crabcake dinner,
- 29:53Speaker 2: where Sutton is going to make her the crabcake, Well,
- 29:55Speaker 2: you know what, before we get into the crabcake dinner,
- 29:58Speaker 2: why don't we take a quick brand February check in?

- 31:42Speaker 2: back talking about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and
- 31:45Speaker 2: now we're at the Crabcake dinner. And this is where
- 31:48Speaker 2: it got a little cartoony with Kyle and Garcel and
- 31:52Speaker 2: Ave like running around and like being on the staircase listening.
- 31:56Speaker 2: You know, it was a little cartooney to me. I
- 31:59Speaker 2: think it was legit. You it was cartoony, Yeah it was.
- 32:02Speaker 2: It was legit, but it was cartoony.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I think it. I think Sutton didn't care. I think
- 32:08Speaker 1: they were more concerned that Riba would see them. I know,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I know they didn't care if Sutton would see them,
- 32:16Speaker 1: But I thought it was like Abby he left, I mean,
- 32:20Speaker 1: he moved at ninety miles an hour because he was
- 32:22Speaker 1: nice to that.
- 32:23Speaker 2: He's because, yeah, eaves dropping all the time. It's all
- 32:29Speaker 2: if you're like a house assistant. I mean you know
- 32:32Speaker 2: how to eaves drop and eaves drop Yeah, like you
- 32:35Speaker 2: got that little glass in your pocket, you put it up.
- 32:37Speaker 1: He's like an alexa. He's his way. All Sutton's words
- 32:42Speaker 1: are his wake words. He's just constantly like yes, so yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 2: When they finally had a conversation and Riba basically says,
- 32:55Speaker 2: well after she after Son's like, this is ma capsule collection,
- 33:02Speaker 2: I was like, not even half the audience knows, like
- 33:05Speaker 2: that's watching the show even knows what a capsule collection is.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Like do you think your mom knows what a capsule
- 33:11Speaker 2: collection is? I don't know, but just try to dumb
- 33:14Speaker 2: it down, not dumb it down, but try to speak
- 33:16Speaker 2: not the Queen's English, you know, like let's get gritty
- 33:20Speaker 2: with it, let's get grits with it.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I felt Sutton was being extra surly in that moment,
- 33:27Speaker 1: and I couldn't tell if this was just years of
- 33:31Speaker 1: her being like, you know, dealing with her mom, and
- 33:35Speaker 1: it wasn't hitting the way she it normally does, and
- 33:38Speaker 1: she's like feeling gaslt like, Okay, I'm showing her my
- 33:42Speaker 1: shit and she's not bashing it. And now with the
- 33:46Speaker 1: camera's rolling, now everybody's gonna think I'm insane.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Oh that's funny, because.
- 33:51Speaker 1: She was getting kind of pissy, and at the same
- 33:54Speaker 1: time it was like it was also just your and
- 33:57Speaker 1: her mother could not win. And then they got to
- 34:00Speaker 1: the kitchen after the the name of them jumpsuit, and
- 34:03Speaker 1: her mom could not win.
- 34:05Speaker 2: It was like the name jumpsuit, Yeah, jumpsuit. Huh, it's
- 34:17Speaker 2: a jumpsuit. See, it's complicated. I was like, oh my god,
- 34:22Speaker 2: is she going to talk about how complicated the jumpsuit is?
- 34:25Speaker 2: And then she goes then she's talking about like transporting
- 34:30Speaker 2: the products and what Yeah, it's all sustainable and like
- 34:36Speaker 2: I get it and stuff like that, and then her
- 34:38Speaker 2: mom like just boiling it down till just like just
- 34:43Speaker 2: every man beef, you know, just just a ground bee.
- 34:46Speaker 2: It's not like even like a chuck, not even a roast.
- 34:50Speaker 2: It's just like ground beef. Boom. And then and I
- 34:57Speaker 2: understood like what Sutton was trying to do, and I
- 35:00Speaker 2: I totally get it. So she's explaining to her the
- 35:03Speaker 2: importance of what she's doing and it's not lost on Reba.
- 35:08Speaker 2: She's because she's basically saying, you become me, you're a
- 35:11Speaker 2: professional working woman, and Soton's like, it just took me
- 35:16Speaker 2: some time and I and then she goes on to say, like,
- 35:18Speaker 2: I just wanted to stay home with the children. You
- 35:20Speaker 2: gave me a lot of grief for that. So we
- 35:22Speaker 2: kind of get in which Ben, of course, Reba's like,
- 35:26Speaker 2: so what does it matter? You did it anyway, and
- 35:27Speaker 2: I'm like, wow, she is just it's like two Sotons,
- 35:31Speaker 2: two Sotons talking to each other is so wild to me.
- 35:33Speaker 1: I mean, but I do say, I do get Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: Reba's colder, and I did get that narcissism kick in
- 35:40Speaker 1: there where she was like, h kind of like embracing
- 35:44Speaker 1: Sutton because she was like her like that was the
- 35:48Speaker 1: vibe where she kind of oh see you're just like
- 35:51Speaker 1: you know, I don't know.
- 35:52Speaker 2: It was Yeah, I was kind of thinking, like, is
- 35:55Speaker 2: she this whole time that she was married and staying
- 36:00Speaker 2: at home with the kids, which she judging her because
- 36:02Speaker 2: her life was so easy and she had a lot
- 36:06Speaker 2: and she had money. You know, That's kind of what
- 36:08Speaker 2: I was picking up. Yeah, so then it's surprising that
- 36:11Speaker 2: her mom was giving her a hard time at the
- 36:14Speaker 2: divorce because her mom wanted to have the lifestyle. But
- 36:17Speaker 2: her mom has been working as a therapist. She didn't
- 36:20Speaker 2: stop working. So those two things don't really fully make
- 36:23Speaker 2: sense to me.
- 36:24Speaker 1: But I mean, like nobody's talking about their shit, So
- 36:30Speaker 1: I mean, I do think Sutton has done a lot
- 36:32Speaker 1: of work on herself compared to Riba, But Riba is like,
- 36:38Speaker 1: I mean, she also might be one of those therapists.
- 36:40Speaker 1: It's like I know everything and I can just help myself,
- 36:44Speaker 1: you know.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I think Kyle made such a great point.
- 36:49Speaker 2: You know, at some point she was like, you know,
- 36:52Speaker 2: she's like eighty four, however old, she's not going to change.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I think that's it. That's so fair.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I really it's upsetting when you hear people waste their
- 37:01Speaker 2: breath on talking about another person that's older than them
- 37:06Speaker 2: and at that age or whatever, and they are just
- 37:10Speaker 2: like banging their heads against the wall. Why don't they
- 37:12Speaker 2: see it's like, let's talk about it when you're that
- 37:15Speaker 2: age and how you want to how you're going to
- 37:18Speaker 2: be because we're all going to be like that. We're
- 37:20Speaker 2: all like that now, you know, imagine what we're going
- 37:22Speaker 2: to be like later, and so I just felt like
- 37:26Speaker 2: it was nice to see Sutton come around the ben
- 37:31Speaker 2: come around the corner, if you will, and even say
- 37:35Speaker 2: in her confessional, I just want my mom to have
- 37:37Speaker 2: like she's had a hard life and I want this
- 37:40Speaker 2: phase of her life to be great and I want
- 37:43Speaker 2: her to be happy, and that she was able to
- 37:48Speaker 2: say the things that she was wanted to say to her.
- 37:50Speaker 2: She was able to say, I just need to know
- 37:53Speaker 2: you're proud of me. And Reba didn't necessarily say it.
- 37:57Speaker 2: She said it without saying it essentially, or.
- 37:59Speaker 1: I love you, which I think she might be Keeley
- 38:01Speaker 1: and Bose's couple. They're a couple. Answer, she's helping them
- 38:06Speaker 1: right now. You don't need to say it. It's fine,
- 38:11Speaker 1: have a baby, I don't need it.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Don't say it, don't say it. Why say it? That's
- 38:18Speaker 2: so hilarious. Name them, don't name them, don't name them,
- 38:24Speaker 2: don't love them, don't love them. It's tried, no' no,
- 38:29Speaker 2: no hugs. But when she does, Rieba makes a great point.
- 38:35Speaker 2: And I think that she's definitely an extreme version of this.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I think that her personality is certainly not explained by
- 38:42Speaker 2: just the fact that she was raised post World War Two.
- 38:46Speaker 2: I think that it's her own stuff also. But there's
- 38:51Speaker 2: a great point in that, which is it sounded really
- 38:55Speaker 2: dark when she was like, they just used to just
- 38:57Speaker 2: throw their babies in the crib and let them cry.
- 38:59Speaker 2: I was like, okay, I mean, I don't know that
- 39:01Speaker 2: was the sweeping way to raise your kids, but I
- 39:05Speaker 2: get what she was saying that it's nothing like it
- 39:10Speaker 2: is when Sutton was raising her kids, and it's certainly
- 39:12Speaker 2: nothing like it is with the way people raise them now.
- 39:15Speaker 2: It's like, would you like to go in your crib
- 39:19Speaker 2: or would you like to stay out here? You have
- 39:21Speaker 2: two choices. You can go to sleep or you can
- 39:25Speaker 2: stay out here and eat candy? Which one is it?
- 39:27Speaker 2: You know, we it's it's really taken a turn on
- 39:31Speaker 2: that level. But we're also very present as parents now.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I also think I mean what she was doing there,
- 39:38Speaker 1: I think every parent does. They don't. I mean, it's
- 39:43Speaker 1: just that, you know, you don't want to hear like
- 39:45Speaker 1: you there were some missteps, and so she's laying down
- 39:49Speaker 1: the excuses, but it's also like it's also who she is.
- 39:53Speaker 2: That's right, That's what I'm saying, it's not just it
- 39:55Speaker 2: can't just be blamed on the era.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Yeah, right, could It very well could be. That's how
- 40:01Speaker 1: she was raised, so she doesn't have the ability to
- 40:03Speaker 1: do some of these things.
- 40:04Speaker 2: It's not fully on the era, but it is certainly
- 40:08Speaker 2: a huge contributing factory. Absolutely. Yeah, yeah, my gosh. And
- 40:13Speaker 2: then Sutton's like, well, I have this fashion show and
- 40:19Speaker 2: her mom's like, for what, I'm kidding what I just
- 40:25Speaker 2: showed you in there and then and then her mom
- 40:30Speaker 2: was like, I'm down to.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Travel and that I know.
- 40:34Speaker 2: It was really sweet. And I am excited because we're
- 40:38Speaker 2: obviously going to see that at some point, and excited.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I am excited. I want to see Reba front row
- 40:45Speaker 2: at Sutton's fashion Oh wait, we are going to see it,
- 40:48Speaker 2: because that's when Kathy Hilton gets in the way of
- 40:51Speaker 2: that model walking down the runway.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Yes, yes, Oh, I'm just trying to talk to Reba
- 40:59Speaker 3: on Facetok, you're on FaceTime. So world War two what
- 41:02Speaker 3: a time? Yes, Rip talks about it with fondness.
- 41:08Speaker 2: So and then they agree something's like I'd like I'd
- 41:17Speaker 2: like better, and Reba says, we can do better. And
- 41:20Speaker 2: then she hugs her. And then when she was swatting
- 41:23Speaker 2: at her face, when Rieba was sweating at her face,
- 41:25Speaker 2: did you think she was crying? Yes? Yeah, And then
- 41:30Speaker 2: Sutton's hair was in her face, so that was unfortunate
- 41:33Speaker 2: to find out.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah, And I thought, was it in her face? What's
- 41:41Speaker 1: it like? Was she getting a little misty eyed?
- 41:45Speaker 2: And had she go around that corner? She go around
- 41:49Speaker 2: that corner.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Of a second, she got the cemetery. How is Kyle
- 41:53Speaker 1: running in in that heat? She was running in all
- 41:57Speaker 1: black like pants, shirt, her hair was like just in
- 42:02Speaker 1: like a banana clip. I was like, what are you doing?
- 42:06Speaker 2: The fact that you just said banana clip is hilarious
- 42:08Speaker 2: to me because I have a literal banana clip right here.
- 42:12Speaker 2: Hold on a seconds. This is this is the portion
- 42:16Speaker 2: of the show where it's Show and Tell. So I
- 42:20Speaker 2: was cleaning out a drawer the other day and I
- 42:23Speaker 2: found this banana clip. Why do I have it? I
- 42:26Speaker 2: don't know. But I put it in my hair and
- 42:30Speaker 2: it looks god awful. But I think it would look
- 42:32Speaker 2: really cute if like you curled your hair first, or
- 42:35Speaker 2: you had really thick hair. But it didn't look good
- 42:37Speaker 2: on me. But it feels so good, like going in
- 42:41Speaker 2: your hair, you know, do you.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Know what I'm saying?
- 42:43Speaker 2: Right?
- 42:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 42:45Speaker 2: Okay, oh you're oh.
- 42:48Speaker 1: I just thought I turned off these reactions for my
- 42:52Speaker 1: Camoji reactions.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I thought I did, and you get so mad at them.
- 42:56Speaker 2: It makes me laugh, you know why, because I think
- 43:00Speaker 2: I've corrected the problem, and then it's not corrected. And
- 43:04Speaker 2: there they come coming around that corner to meetcha. So
- 43:09Speaker 2: I go to Maddie. She was like, looking at it,
- 43:10Speaker 2: I'm like, do you know what that is? I'm like,
- 43:12Speaker 2: that's a banana clip. You know, that's like an old
- 43:14Speaker 2: school thing. And I'm like, let me put it in
- 43:16Speaker 2: your hair. She's like, oh, that feels good. And then
- 43:20Speaker 2: and then I and then she had some not so
- 43:22Speaker 2: she's like how, I'm like, sorry anyway clip? Yeah? No,
- 43:29Speaker 2: I mean Kyle, uh, Kyle does what Kyle does? I mean,
- 43:33Speaker 2: maybe she wasn't prepared for that Augusta heat, but she
- 43:36Speaker 2: was winded.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:39Speaker 4: I can't even remember. It's son domating all this way
- 43:43Speaker 4: around the way.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Uh yeah. So okay, okay, so that's good.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Now.
- 43:54Speaker 2: I think we should leave Augusta and talk about the
- 43:57Speaker 2: rest of the episode with the other folks on the show,
- 44:00Speaker 2: show you ready to do that? Okay, Bo's and Lale
- 44:04Speaker 2: and they talk about Kihlely and and we find out
- 44:09Speaker 2: that Keiley like spontaneously showed up in Ghana when she
- 44:13Speaker 2: was there, and so that that that'll that's a surprise,
- 44:20Speaker 2: especially if your family's there.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, that Bose was confused. Why uh, her daughter
- 44:27Speaker 1: would be confused. And it's like, well, you said it
- 44:29Speaker 1: was her her front your friend, and you hard winked
- 44:34Speaker 1: or moved your eyebrows, but you did not say what
- 44:37Speaker 1: this was. That's why she's confused.
- 44:40Speaker 2: I mean, let's as straight up as boss. It just
- 44:44Speaker 2: showed that she was really holding back the cards and
- 44:47Speaker 2: that one, you know, obviously it's her daughter, so she's
- 44:50Speaker 2: going to be a little more like fragile about it.
- 44:53Speaker 2: But that was interesting to hear that story and the
- 44:55Speaker 2: daughter calling her out was so funny. And and then
- 45:00Speaker 2: I thought that what she said about her reaction to
- 45:04Speaker 2: Bo's potentially having a child sooner than later and asking
- 45:07Speaker 2: her how she feels about it, and Layol saying I
- 45:11Speaker 2: feel okay about it. I think our bond is changing
- 45:14Speaker 2: in an evolving way. And now I kind of want
- 45:17Speaker 2: you to share this bond, share that bond with someone else.
- 45:20Speaker 2: I was like, hello, emotionally evolved and mature, young lady.
- 45:26Speaker 2: That's amazing. And it made me feel like sad inside
- 45:30Speaker 2: because I just know that, you know, my daughter is
- 45:32Speaker 2: gonna be older and then like it just won't. She's
- 45:38Speaker 2: not going to be seven forever, and it's just like
- 45:40Speaker 2: the greatest time. I mean, it's just every year is
- 45:44Speaker 2: like better and better, and I just this time right
- 45:47Speaker 2: now is just so awesome. Yeah, like it's not going
- 45:53Speaker 2: to be like this forever, and I'm just gonna be.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Well, drink it up, because let me tell you, everyone
- 45:59Speaker 1: loves their teenage that I've talked to, they love their teens.
- 46:06Speaker 2: I really am drinking it up, Like I mean, she
- 46:09Speaker 2: is such the high priority, and as a working mom,
- 46:12Speaker 2: people know how difficult that is. So things that I
- 46:17Speaker 2: could and should prioritize, I don't because I put her
- 46:23Speaker 2: immediately like it's like her, it's like work her, work her,
- 46:28Speaker 2: and you know, and I have literally no regrets about
- 46:31Speaker 2: that obviously, and I know that when I'm older, I
- 46:34Speaker 2: won't have those regrets. It's so nice to work from
- 46:37Speaker 2: home too, you know, right right right anyway.
- 46:41Speaker 1: So.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Uh.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Yeah, So that conversation was really beautiful. And now we
- 46:48Speaker 2: so there is there are some like rumors and I'm
- 46:51Speaker 2: not going to repeat them because I don't really understand fully,
- 46:54Speaker 2: but there are some rumors swirling about Kighley right now.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Like people are in like the IT people are in
- 47:01Speaker 2: the I don't know Amazon lives wherever, they are in
- 47:06Speaker 2: the corners in the shadows Amazon Live. Yes, I said it,
- 47:11Speaker 2: it's your shadow talking about it?
- 47:17Speaker 1: Have you? But I haven't been active in the shadows.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Well I'm a very shadow active shadower.
- 47:27Speaker 2: I'm a shadow active.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure I'll catch it. I just haven't been.
- 47:31Speaker 1: I'm sure I'm not.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Really it's not really out there out there yet. So
- 47:34Speaker 2: I don't know if this is just not this is
- 47:37Speaker 2: just a little bit of kindling that's starting something that
- 47:40Speaker 2: isn't anything. But it is strange that they haven't said
- 47:44Speaker 2: I love you, but they're talking about a baby. I
- 47:50Speaker 2: do think that is very odd. I mean, I can't lie.
- 47:53Speaker 2: It seems like a business transaction. Now at this point,
- 47:56Speaker 2: what do you think, Emily.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I mean, maybe it is. Maybe Bo's really more than
- 48:00Speaker 1: a husband would like to have another baby, and she's
- 48:03Speaker 1: as close like maybe that's this is what it's going
- 48:08Speaker 1: to be. I don't know. I don't falter for that
- 48:10Speaker 1: as long as they have an agreement in writing and
- 48:13Speaker 1: it is absolutely yeah an understanding.
- 48:17Speaker 2: H yeah, that's fine. Well, but it sounds like she
- 48:19Speaker 2: wants she does love him, though, and she wants him
- 48:22Speaker 2: to say it. So I think that she would be
- 48:24Speaker 2: pretty forward by saying, I don't care. I just want
- 48:28Speaker 2: to have like a family unit and I don't necessarily
- 48:30Speaker 2: need to love that person. I just want a good
- 48:33Speaker 2: friendship and bond.
- 48:35Speaker 1: That could be Yeah, that could be it too.
- 48:37Speaker 2: But she would say that she said that she loves him.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I don't think she would outwardly say I really want
- 48:43Speaker 1: a friendship and uh, look, I just want a family
- 48:49Speaker 1: unit without love. I don't think she's gonna say that.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Why not. We're empowered, we could say whatever we want.
- 48:58Speaker 1: That.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Actually loved this episode for that. There was so many
- 49:04Speaker 2: themes of female empowerment all the way from Sutton reclaiming
- 49:10Speaker 2: her trauma and making you know a breakthrough with her mother,
- 49:15Speaker 2: her mother just being a working woman in that era.
- 49:19Speaker 2: It's just and I don't think that like being a
- 49:21Speaker 2: therapist was a regular thing. I think that there weren't
- 49:24Speaker 2: probably many people that were doing that what she was
- 49:26Speaker 2: doing at that time, So I find that to be empowering.
- 49:30Speaker 2: I loved the last scene with Dured and Erica and
- 49:34Speaker 2: Bo's them just throwing down and being like, wake up
- 49:38Speaker 2: and smell the coffee.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Jeri still doesn't get it. God, the fact that she
- 49:44Speaker 1: thinks that, she's like, yes, p K's going to slow down.
- 49:49Speaker 1: I was so relieved that Bo said I think yeah,
- 49:54Speaker 1: Bo said, He's going around getting all the lawyers.
- 49:57Speaker 2: You could say that all the time, Emily Week when
- 50:00Speaker 2: we have like literally you're always like this, this guy
- 50:04Speaker 2: is going to corner the market on all the good
- 50:06Speaker 2: lawyers in LA because they have the upper hand, and
- 50:09Speaker 2: then it's going to leave the other one without any
- 50:12Speaker 2: great options.
- 50:13Speaker 1: And for Dery to be like I need a break,
- 50:15Speaker 1: I need to you know, it's not just for me,
- 50:17Speaker 1: it's actually for the kids. It's like, I empathize with
- 50:21Speaker 1: that one hundred percent. Do not think he's doing that
- 50:26Speaker 1: though he may be telling you that, but he is
- 50:30Speaker 1: getting his shit together with he's building his army. If
- 50:34Speaker 1: you have no idea what it's about to hit you exactly.
- 50:39Speaker 2: He is awful. I mean for her to be like, guys,
- 50:46Speaker 2: I just talked to PK. It was amazing. We're best
- 50:49Speaker 2: of friends. Literally, we'll be f f's again. And then
- 50:54Speaker 2: they're just looking at her and we've all had that friend.
- 50:58Speaker 2: It's like, oh no, it's back to normal and it's fine.
- 51:01Speaker 2: It's not as bad as I thought. And then you're like,
- 51:05Speaker 2: they don't get it, and it's it's a tale as
- 51:07Speaker 2: old as time. You know, she still has she has
- 51:11Speaker 2: the wolf pulled over her eyes, and I think she's still,
- 51:14Speaker 2: at least at this point in this episode, is still
- 51:16Speaker 2: hoping for some miracle to bring them back together, which
- 51:20Speaker 2: is so crazy to me, because like, why would you
- 51:22Speaker 2: want to be with someone who's so absent from your
- 51:24Speaker 2: marriage and who would never who like doesn't want to
- 51:26Speaker 2: be with you essentially, and they've told you that.
- 51:29Speaker 1: But yeah, and she knows the timeline. She knows it's
- 51:33Speaker 1: a ten year you know what I mean. So so
- 51:37Speaker 1: so yeah, Durie, you take a nap. I'm still going
- 51:40Speaker 1: to get this shit filed so fast, right under the
- 51:43Speaker 1: wire and serve you papers on this day. Like it's just.
- 51:50Speaker 2: She's fighting, you know, for someoney so for someone who
- 51:55Speaker 2: is going to do her so dirty, and that's sad.
- 51:58Speaker 2: And it also is like very common occurrence with people
- 52:01Speaker 2: in relationships, like there's always going to be somebody who
- 52:05Speaker 2: is going to pull the wool over their eyes continuously
- 52:08Speaker 2: and just really hope for the best and also for
- 52:11Speaker 2: the sake of not wanting to deal with reality because
- 52:15Speaker 2: it's a much easier to deal.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, look at Erica. I think god Eric
- 52:20Speaker 1: is in that scene. And I also really appreciate that
- 52:23Speaker 1: Bose in these scenes, isn't you know Bose Yeah, was
- 52:27Speaker 1: going through a divorce and then it's my understanding that
- 52:33Speaker 1: they were separated and then they got back together because
- 52:36Speaker 1: he got really sick and he ended up passing away.
- 52:40Speaker 1: But I'm so grateful that Bose isn't using that as
- 52:42Speaker 1: an example to to read of like, you know, maybe
- 52:45Speaker 1: it'll work out. You know, it worked out for you know,
- 52:48Speaker 1: because they ended up finding each other and really having
- 52:51Speaker 1: a great but getting back together. So part of me
- 52:56Speaker 1: is like, I'm so glad she's not using that as
- 52:58Speaker 1: an example. Todi DeWitt would just yeah, she'd taken on that. Yeah,
- 53:04Speaker 1: there it goes again. My emotion thumbs up. There's your
- 53:06Speaker 1: thumbs up.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Well uh, when BO says immediately because now Dery doesn't
- 53:13Speaker 2: want to talk to Erica about it anymore because she's like,
- 53:16Speaker 2: stop giving me that sight I And so I love
- 53:19Speaker 2: that BO stepped in and was like, feels like a
- 53:22Speaker 2: trick and then she's like, no, I can guarantee you
- 53:25Speaker 2: and it's just you know, it's just someone who's in
- 53:27Speaker 2: full on denial and uh. And then Bo's saying, this
- 53:33Speaker 2: is the art of war. He needs you to calm
- 53:35Speaker 2: down so you don't act so he can act. And
- 53:38Speaker 2: I did appreciate her full naivete about it. I mean,
- 53:42Speaker 2: she genuinely was like, I don't understand, like advance, what advance.
- 53:46Speaker 2: I don't get what you're saying. And they had to
- 53:49Speaker 2: say it plain as day that he wants the upper hand,
- 53:51Speaker 2: and Bo saying, you're going to strike and he's afraid
- 53:54Speaker 2: of how smart you are and how you will strike.
- 53:56Speaker 2: And I'm so glad she said that because Durit's eyes
- 53:59Speaker 2: were popped open for a minute at Kathy Hilton's. They
- 54:04Speaker 2: were to get here, yeah, because he did her wrong
- 54:07Speaker 2: because the way he was talking to her. But see
- 54:09Speaker 2: how they come back and they gaslight you. They they
- 54:12Speaker 2: love he kind of love bombed her whatever he said.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I mean he he right. You know, I don't even
- 54:18Speaker 1: know if this is still even in California or this
- 54:21Speaker 1: is just old school. But like I I years and
- 54:24Speaker 1: years ago, I had a friend that their lawyer advised
- 54:27Speaker 1: them to try to work it out so that the
- 54:30Speaker 1: courts would This is like a friend my friend's dad
- 54:35Speaker 1: and his lawyer advised him to move back in and
- 54:40Speaker 1: try to like make it seem like he was working
- 54:44Speaker 1: it out, and he didn't and that would that was
- 54:49Speaker 1: then like, well he started to do it and realize
- 54:52Speaker 1: it's really messing with his kids too, because his kids
- 54:55Speaker 1: all of a sudden are like, oh, mom and dad
- 54:57Speaker 1: are figuring it out. So he left and they were
- 55:01Speaker 1: like when they got older, he was said, well I
- 55:04Speaker 1: did that because my lawyer said that, and it was
- 55:06Speaker 1: a dumb thing to do. I really, you know, I
- 55:10Speaker 1: messed up by doing that to pretend for the courts
- 55:13Speaker 1: so I could say I tried, But I don't know
- 55:17Speaker 1: if those divorce laws still.
- 55:20Speaker 2: You know who, Yeah, I remember that when I first,
- 55:23Speaker 2: like when we first moved here, it was that you
- 55:28Speaker 2: couldn't like get it. You had to spend a year
- 55:30Speaker 2: working on your marriage, Isn't that right? Am I crazy?
- 55:35Speaker 1: I don't know about California since we've looked. I mean,
- 55:38Speaker 1: most states are no fault divorces at this point. So
- 55:42Speaker 1: this was back like twenty years ago that I'm talking about,
- 55:46Speaker 1: and back in Maryland.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Okay, okay, at least twenty yeah, okay, okay, uh yeah.
- 55:53Speaker 2: I thought there was Oh okay, I mean back in
- 55:56Speaker 2: the day, separated for a year before you can find
- 56:00Speaker 2: for divorce. I think that's what it is in California.
- 56:02Speaker 2: I'm getting it confused with that's what I It's probably
- 56:06Speaker 2: not like that anymore, but I could have sworn that
- 56:08Speaker 2: there was something like you could not get a divorce
- 56:11Speaker 2: in California that quickly you had to file for separation,
- 56:16Speaker 2: get legally separated, and then you had to stay the
- 56:19Speaker 2: course for a certain amount of time, and I believe
- 56:22Speaker 2: it was like twelve months.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Or you could go get a divorce in Vegas.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Really and that would that was backed back in California.
- 56:30Speaker 1: That was like back in the fifties. Yeah, all this
- 56:33Speaker 1: all these stars would go, they would like get divorces
- 56:36Speaker 1: in Vegas.
- 56:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but if they didn't get married for everybody.
- 56:42Speaker 1: They would get married in California and then like their
- 56:46Speaker 1: marriage would end and they'd somehow get divorced in Vegas.
- 56:50Speaker 2: And it would be legal here California and it would
- 56:54Speaker 2: be yeah, wow, and Howard Hughes would like pay for
- 56:58Speaker 2: a lot of those Wow, that's amazing way to go.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Howard's not a good person. He was not a good person.
- 57:06Speaker 2: No, sorry, I take that back. He wants to carrot
- 57:10Speaker 2: our chief.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Despite what Heather Gay said about her grandfather, I bet
- 57:15Speaker 1: her grandfather did some crazy shit for that guy.
- 57:19Speaker 2: He knows, Yeah, why, he sure knows. What a wild
- 57:24Speaker 2: thing you know.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:28Speaker 2: And then in Erica's confessional, she says it perfectly.
- 57:31Speaker 4: P K is ruthless in business, and he will be
- 57:34Speaker 4: ruthless into us maybe, yes.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Why would he turn off the part of the brain
- 57:43Speaker 1: that has served him the best, right when he's fighting
- 57:48Speaker 1: for his life?
- 57:49Speaker 2: Like come on now, yeah, come on, now on now, now, lastly, oh,
- 57:56Speaker 2: is I going to my argport on her friend and
- 57:58Speaker 2: there's going to ies with drying Kathy and just menutation
- 58:01Speaker 2: And I'm like Sandro Bayo.
- 58:02Speaker 4: It lived like we k and then Arounla Glenn and
- 58:05Speaker 4: then I was jogging and then I went down Enry
- 58:07Speaker 4: straight and then I went down Hamilton.
- 58:10Speaker 1: It.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so mo. The fact that I was not kind.
- 58:16Speaker 1: This whole episode is she's just lurking around the corner.
- 58:20Speaker 2: She's a brana just around the corner up the staircase.
- 58:29Speaker 2: I know, she's like on vacation. She's fully like, this
- 58:32Speaker 2: is so great, this is Sutton's episode. This is gonna
- 58:36Speaker 2: just carry me through. I'll like get a jog in,
- 58:38Speaker 2: I'll have some crap.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Producers are like, can you like FaceTime Kathy or something like.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Kathy's like, oh, it's just working. It's like, really, Kathy,
- 58:51Speaker 2: I think you know, on a FaceTime at this point.
- 58:53Speaker 2: But I did love it.
- 58:55Speaker 1: You know, my dad still doesn't, so I don't know,
- 58:57Speaker 1: but yeah, oh Matthy.
- 59:00Speaker 2: I mean our tugs are a lot older than Kathy.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Again, are they?
- 59:05Speaker 2: I don't know, right, yeah, fair. I was not expecting
- 59:12Speaker 2: that the button on that sentence for Mauricio's travels was
- 59:16Speaker 2: going to end with being with Piquet in santro Pei.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Yeah, all day.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Drinking rose like that was man, and after hearing what
- 59:30Speaker 2: he's doing to Derte during this time, then he's gonna
- 59:32Speaker 2: go oh.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Also interesting to hear Kathy receive it so positively, like, oh,
- 59:39Speaker 1: that sounds fun for those two boys. Okay, Kathy, she.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Fully embraced that like it was good and it made
- 59:50Speaker 2: me be like, okay for a second.

- 1:00:13Speaker 3: She's like, oh that's so great, Oh how fun the
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: couple of guys out on the tone.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Chip glass slip glass lip gloss. Yeah, that's the only
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: way we know she's uncomfortable.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: That's the only way we know they're actually sisters, because
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Kyle and Kathy have the whole look thing going on.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Oh gosh, yeah, you're right. She does do that when

- 1:00:48Speaker 2: did not FaceTime. I was like, hey, Kah, like, so
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: here's what's going on. It's like so crazy moways like
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: traveling and then he's gonna be with PK and in
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: the meantime, like I has like all this stuff going
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: out to read and like she's mad at me. So
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: like when I call you on face time, just like
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: it's no big deal and we'll just sleep it out
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: of the road. Oh, no problem, like she her business. Boys,

- 1:01:16Speaker 2: And then they do the scene and then they hang up.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: She's like, how'd it go? Was that good? Did we
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: get it in the can? All right, boys, let's go.
