Transcript
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: If there's a low hum of tension somewhere in you right now, that's okay.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: That's why you're here.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: Picture a quiet room, soft light coming in through the window.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Nowhere you need to be.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Nothing you need to do here except listen.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Don't change your breath, just notice it arriving and leaving.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Settle into the breath for a moment.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: For now, just being here, breathing is the whole task.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Something happened recently that your mind is still trying to make sense of, turning it over, running the analysis, looking for the version of the story that adds up.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Your mind wants an explanation.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: But your body already responded to this before your mind finished its first sentence about it.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: It tightened or it dropped or it went quiet.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Some red on this happened instantly underneath the thinking.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: See if you can find that response now.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Is there anything in your chest?
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: A tightness, a lightness, a held breath.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Is there anything in your stomach?
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: A drop?
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: A settling?
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: A knot that's been there since it happened.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: You're not trying to name it yet, just noticing that it's already there and that it arrived before you had a chance to think about it.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Tonight, instead of asking your mind what this means, we're going to ask your body what it already knows.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: There is a version of you who trusts that first wordless red.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Not instead of thinking things through, but before it, as information rather than noise.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: There was a time you didn't believe your body's red on anything counted for much, that only the analysis was real, and the rest was just nerves.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: That's not true anymore.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: The quiet, immediate sense you get is data too, arriving faster than the reasoning can.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: Ask it now gently without needing an answer in words.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: What did you already know about this before you started thinking it through.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Just notice that it's there and that it arrived on its own.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: A small gesture of being willing to receive an answer that isn't made of words.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: Let these affirmations arrive quietly underneath the thinking.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: Now you're learning to be able to get a little bit of a body knows things before my mind catches up.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: Stay here as long as you like.
