Beloved, do not let this one thing escape your notice: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. — 2 Peter 3:8-9Peter tells us not to be ignorant of this: the Lord's timing isn't our timing. One day is as a thousand years to Him, and a thousand years as one day — He's not slow, He's patient, not willing that any should perish. His thoughts aren't your thoughts, and His ways are higher than yours. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments.
