- 11:50Speaker 1: We'll see you later.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Hello, welcome to the post grand final for Kenworth versus Kilburn.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And we're at the Kenworth football club and I think a very emotional result and you hear him on that voice.
- 12:05Speaker 1: The fellas you hear were celebrating.
- 12:07Speaker 1: You know, pj 150th, ethan 150th, and how much this club really meant to these fellas.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You know I think we're out and about a lot more better than last time we met Kilburn.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I think we all had the better mindset.
- 12:23Speaker 1: But before we really get into a deep conversation, to whoever wish to be chat about post-game Jimmy.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Welcome back, mate.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Thanks for having me back on, mate.
- 12:34Speaker 1: So you know it is hurtful.
- 12:37Speaker 1: One point how much.
- 12:39Speaker 1: What's the reflection in your words?
- 12:42Speaker 1: How much you know?
- 12:43Speaker 1: How are you more feeling after that game?
- 12:48Speaker 3: Feeling a bit flat, a bit down, but like just soaking it in and hopefully we can come back better next year and pre-season's starting early, so I'm happy about that.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Keep going, that's what we should be doing.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Keep going and keep working together.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And yes, absolutely, and you saw that in the new year.
- 13:09Speaker 1: So you know you're feeling like this is our second point defeat and you know what is our, both of your, both one-point defeats, which one's more hurtful won.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Well, our last one-point loss was against Eastern Park, and that was a few years back and I thought that was the one that hurted the most.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So, moving on all grand funnels and results, your role in defence is being a rocket.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I call it.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You know, taylor, goalkeeper, how you defend today.
- 13:48Speaker 1: You know how much do you enjoy being challenged in a game like against a team like Kilburn.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I feel really challenged a lot and like a lot of ways on my shoulders I take it on board and trying to get that ball to kick down to the forward line or this, yeah, yeah, so I know, like the lads out there celebrating.
- 14:15Speaker 1: You know, I think this is out of the celebrations.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I'm really opinion.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I know Even we lost Into this grand final, but I think it's the the best runners up celebration.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Do you agree with?
- 14:30Speaker 3: that.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Do you agree with that, bj?
- 14:31Speaker 3: Yes, I do agree with that a lot.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So Anyway, mate, thank you so much and all the best in the off season Close to like making it to the grand finals Myself as well.
- 14:41Speaker 1: But I think you have achieved so much, since you and I the off season close to like making to the grand finals myself as well.
- 14:43Speaker 1: But I think you, you have achieved so much, since you and I, we, we know each other for too long, mate.
- 14:48Speaker 1: You know, I know you.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I know you only 13 or 14 from basketball day, so we play on state basketball teams again.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Now we're playing on the chocolate and blue for this at st mary's park, so I've seen a long time and it's I'm honoured to.
- 15:05Speaker 1: You know, we always say this I'm honoured to be your teammate and all that.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I know it hurts.
- 15:10Speaker 1: We all know that we move on and we get on with life.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So thank you so much, jimmy, for your time.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Thanks, mate.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Thanks for having me on.
- 15:20Speaker 3: I'll be looking forward to the best no worry, that's jim taylor, I guess.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Hello, welcome back.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Thank you, jimmy, it's been a pleasure.
- 15:33Speaker 1: So and let's get scary.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Mate, how you feeling, and welcome to the bj show again.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Oh, thank you very much, bj, for having me again.
- 15:37Speaker 2: It's been very well for the season.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Unfortunately, we didn't get the win.
- 15:41Speaker 2: We all did well today and I'm very proud team and they did very well and like, even though I always had fractured ribs, but I still know how to dedicate my team and help teams when they need it absolutely, and you know, yes, you have your.
- 15:55Speaker 1: You know your soreness and your pain, but you it's known for pain, no gain.
- 15:59Speaker 1: You know you went through so much, even today.
- 16:03Speaker 1: No, you came over to me, or I think you might need me, and you've got to be a sore whip, but you still played.
- 16:09Speaker 1: So you know how you're feeling.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Yes, it is a loss and another game, but you know overall how much you achieve yourself this season, besides the injuries uh, pretty much.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Well, I, I know it is the end of season, as we know, pre-season.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Pretty fun getting there, but ribs gonna go better soon.
- 16:32Speaker 2: And then I know I had a lot of injuries last season because I missed out a lot.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I missed out a lot I missed that.
- 16:37Speaker 2: But now I'm back and capable, to next season, prove myself 100%.
- 16:43Speaker 1: And that's exactly because, without you out there helping me in that position you know, in that half forward position as well as myself you did so well.
- 16:53Speaker 1: You played on the wing.
- 16:55Speaker 1: You know you did a lot of running and when you stepped by you never gave up.
- 17:00Speaker 1: For example, jesse, jesse went in so hard, it was incredible.
- 17:06Speaker 1: So feel grateful for today.
- 17:09Speaker 1: But moving on, you know I'll just go into Jimmy and from I don't know.
- 17:15Speaker 1: You were here back in 2021.
- 17:17Speaker 2: No, I wasn't.
- 17:18Speaker 2: No, I wasn't.
- 17:19Speaker 1: No, so we lost our old team Edison Park.
- 17:21Speaker 1: No, it wasn't, no, it wasn't no.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So we lost our old team Edison Park.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And we know, you know.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I really think this is more painful now because we're feeling set to.
- 17:29Speaker 1: You know our two, and we'll share some of this.
- 17:34Speaker 1: This is actually the best runners-up celebration and you know the club's improved that and you've come on board.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You know you played's improved that and you've come on board.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You know you play at Christie's.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Beach.
- 17:43Speaker 2: That is correct.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I agree with that, because I used to play for Christie's back in 22.
- 17:47Speaker 2: And then I got transferred over here in 23.
- 17:50Speaker 2: And I was lucky to get the team.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I was wrapped in the way.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I made the team and I was happy I made it and this club's been one of the best teams I ever made.
- 17:57Speaker 2: It's great to know everyone again and make a family again.
- 18:00Speaker 2: It just makes me happy.
- 18:02Speaker 2: I'm happy.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Yeah, so look glad to be your teammate and we know each other outside of football, sort of the social club.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Oh, yes, that's correct.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yes, so we actually know each other a lot longer, you know, and I don't know how long ago we know each other, but long enough.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I feel like it's like over a decade.
- 18:25Speaker 1: But is that about right?
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just working it out in my head now.
- 18:29Speaker 1: No, that's all right.
- 18:30Speaker 1: So, from a social point of view, into a football player.
- 18:38Speaker 1: How much have you enjoyed this footy season?
- 18:42Speaker 2: Well, it's been good.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Well, I know Jorben were a little bit rough this year, but it was good to have a little new challenge on my hands.

- 18:51Speaker 2: We have known each other for nine years old mate.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Nine years Wow, that long.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I was only actually.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I was probably out of high school by then.
- 19:02Speaker 1: But I was in my six years out of high school, I went in for a social group in the first six days.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Everyone did, and I've known you there.
