- 0:08Speaker 1: Scarable advice Shore. Welcome to the not even Nice. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: your host, drop Shooter, and it is Tuesday, which means
- 0:19Speaker 1: our dear friend Delena Dixon joins us, Hey, miss, they
- 0:22Speaker 1: are you there? I am. We had a lovely weekend together.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I didn't. I love seeing you. So we went to
- 0:27Speaker 1: the theater. We were invited to K Pop the Musical.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I loved it. Miss the dancing, the singing. It was great.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Its sparkles, a beautiful Asian American Asian cast talking about
- 0:39Speaker 1: the K pop phenomenon. Really know about it? All these dancing?
- 0:45Speaker 1: I know, I didn't really understand it. I mean I
- 0:47Speaker 1: knew about it because of BSL. I knew about it
- 0:50Speaker 1: because of the BTS. That's the one. I knew about
- 0:52Speaker 1: it because of the But I didn't really understand the
- 0:55Speaker 1: whole thing. But now I think I do a little
- 0:58Speaker 1: bit more. And it is just abulus. Hey, let's jump
- 1:01Speaker 1: into the show. What time is it, my friends? It
- 1:03Speaker 1: is bom boom boom. Let's get to the big story.
- 1:06Speaker 1: At the top of the show, Will Smith is saying
- 1:08Speaker 1: he completely understands if people don't want to watch him
- 1:12Speaker 1: in his new movie. Following the Oscar slap he said,
- 1:15Speaker 1: I would absolutely respect that. So Will has a new
- 1:18Speaker 1: movie coming out. It's called Immancy Patient. It's a serious
- 1:23Speaker 1: movie and he plays a slave named Peter who flees
- 1:28Speaker 1: from a plantation in Louisiana after almost being killed. It
- 1:33Speaker 1: premiers on Apple TV. The buzz around this movie is incredible.
- 1:38Speaker 1: It's meant to be just one of those movies that
- 1:42Speaker 1: is life changing, that takes your breath away, and he
- 1:45Speaker 1: is supposed to be amazing in it. The problem he
- 1:48Speaker 1: has is that he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscar,
- 1:53Speaker 1: So he hasn't really done interviews about this. He made
- 1:55Speaker 1: a few of those kind of weird videos that he
- 1:58Speaker 1: posted himself, but he didn't really take anybody's questions until now.
- 2:02Speaker 1: So he's doing some press for the new Apple TV
- 2:04Speaker 1: show and he was asked about the oscars and he said,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I completely understand if people are not ready. I would
- 2:12Speaker 1: absolutely respect that they are allowed some space if they're
- 2:16Speaker 1: if they're not ready. He went on to say, his
- 2:18Speaker 1: deepest concerned, mister, his deepest concern, it's not necessarily about him,
- 2:23Speaker 1: but how what he did is going to affect everybody
- 2:26Speaker 1: else and the chances of everybody else in this movie
- 2:29Speaker 1: for being recognized by people like the Oscars. It's Oscar
- 2:33Speaker 1: worthy material, it's Oscar worthy performances, but because of will
- 2:40Speaker 1: will it all be overlooked? He concluded by saying, his
- 2:43Speaker 1: hope is that the material and the timeliness of the
- 2:48Speaker 1: story is what people are going to focus on the
- 2:51Speaker 1: and not just focus on him. What do you think? Well,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I guess that is the question, right can you separate
- 2:59Speaker 1: the man from movie? And there are a lot of
- 3:01Speaker 1: other actors we won't name names, but there are other
- 3:04Speaker 1: people out there that have done things but then gone
- 3:06Speaker 1: on to make really important films that we still watch.
- 3:10Speaker 1: So you're gonna have to make a personal decision if
- 3:12Speaker 1: you can look above what he did. And it's a
- 3:14Speaker 1: little harder because those other celebrities, we heard about what
- 3:17Speaker 1: they did after the fact, but we got to see
- 3:19Speaker 1: this happen in live, real time, so that might make
- 3:23Speaker 1: it even more challenging. The film is extremely important. It's
- 3:27Speaker 1: telling a part of American history, of black history, and
- 3:30Speaker 1: so I can understand why he wants people to watch
- 3:33Speaker 1: the film and try to get over the fact of
- 3:35Speaker 1: what he did in his personal life and to be
- 3:37Speaker 1: perfectly honest, If people came to our job and saw
- 3:40Speaker 1: how we got our work done. Sometimes we might not
- 3:42Speaker 1: be but we don't hit people. And that we don't
- 3:46Speaker 1: hit people so so important. Here we saw him assault
- 3:52Speaker 1: somebody and he he was so arrogant he thought he
- 3:55Speaker 1: could do it and get away with it. On National TV, mister,
- 3:58Speaker 1: I wish this movie that he was doing next his
- 4:01Speaker 1: next movie after the Slab was a silly, frivolous, stupid
- 4:05Speaker 1: movie that we can all just ignore. I don't want
- 4:08Speaker 1: to ignore this movie. I think it's too important. People
- 4:10Speaker 1: that I know at Apple TV say it is just
- 4:14Speaker 1: that good and it is that important a movie. I
- 4:18Speaker 1: just wish that somebody else was starring in it rather
- 4:21Speaker 1: than Will Smith. But that's not the truth. That's not
- 4:23Speaker 1: the case. Will is in this movie. So we have
- 4:25Speaker 1: to make a decision. Are we going to see it?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Are we not? Which brings us to our polar question
- 4:30Speaker 1: of the day. Will Smith says that he completely understands
- 4:33Speaker 1: if people don't want to watch his new movie that
- 4:37Speaker 1: happens to be incredible. Will you watch the movie? That's
- 4:43Speaker 1: a simple question for today. Hey, go out on a
- 4:45Speaker 1: Twitter page at naughty Nice Robber, at Facebook page not
- 4:48Speaker 1: as Ben b. Stewart to check back tomorrow to hear
- 4:51Speaker 1: your results. Amosty, what you're working on? Okay, it's your
- 4:54Speaker 1: latest in Pete Davidson couple news. Okay, he's getting much
- 4:58Speaker 1: more cozy with Emily Radikowski. They were spotted together at
- 5:03Speaker 1: a Knicks game and it was their first public appearance
- 5:07Speaker 1: as a rumored couple. Now the funny man in the model.
- 5:11Speaker 1: They sat side by side at Madison Square Garden game
- 5:14Speaker 1: and the photos were shared by the basketball team at
- 5:17Speaker 1: the Knicks Grizzlies game. Well, we'll go research that way
- 5:22Speaker 1: Instagram and Twitter. Now Pete and Emily are age adjacent.
- 5:26Speaker 1: He's twenty nine and she's thirty one. They drank beer
- 5:29Speaker 1: and they sat between or near Ben Stiller and Jordan's sparks. Now,
- 5:33Speaker 1: they have not confirmed that they're a pair or they're dating,
- 5:38Speaker 1: but you know, there's a lot of questions about their relationship.
- 5:42Speaker 1: In fact, the Denver Nuggets commented on the post, can
- 5:46Speaker 1: you ask them if it's official? And the Knicks replied,
- 5:49Speaker 1: would but they're busy. Do they mean the couple or
- 5:54Speaker 1: the basketball? They're all We've a Peter a long time.
- 6:02Speaker 1: After the high profile relationships, he's been in with Kim Kardashian,
- 6:06Speaker 1: arguably the biggest star tabloid star in the world, and
- 6:09Speaker 1: Arianna Grandy, who certainly gets a lot of attention to
- 6:12Speaker 1: He knows what he's doing there at this game. At
- 6:15Speaker 1: any big sporting event like this, particularly if you're sitting
- 6:18Speaker 1: on the front row, there are photographers. Forget the photographers
- 6:20Speaker 1: their cameras, like you're gonna be spotted. So I think
- 6:24Speaker 1: this was a conscious decision. After when celebrities walk the
- 6:27Speaker 1: red carpets together, that's when they tell you they're officially together.
- 6:32Speaker 1: But a pictures worth a thousand words, Pete knows exactly
- 6:36Speaker 1: what he was doing. These two are now officially a couple.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Moving along. Queen Elizabeth new she was running out of
- 6:46Speaker 1: time and had no regrets. So there's a new book
- 6:49Speaker 1: out by royal writer Giles Brandreth. It's called Elizabeth An
- 6:55Speaker 1: Intimate Portrait, and he writes about the last day of
- 7:00Speaker 1: the late monarchs life, saying that she died peacefully at
- 7:05Speaker 1: Bell Morral. He said, quote, the truth is her Majesty
- 7:10Speaker 1: knew that her time left was very limited, and she
- 7:14Speaker 1: accepted this with grace, which is probably what you would
- 7:17Speaker 1: expect of such an amazing, graceful person. He said. Her
- 7:20Speaker 1: faith is everything to her, and she told people she
- 7:23Speaker 1: had no regrets, and she wanted to spend her last
- 7:26Speaker 1: days at bell Moral, her favorite home, her favorite residence.
- 7:29Speaker 1: She's got lots of castles, but this is where she
- 7:32Speaker 1: wanted to go. So he said, it's not surprising that
- 7:35Speaker 1: the cause of her death was ruled old age, but
- 7:38Speaker 1: in patience over eighty who are under care of a doctor,
- 7:42Speaker 1: who are in gradual decline, that's often what it is ruled.
- 7:46Speaker 1: But I love here, Misty that she went out on
- 7:49Speaker 1: her own terms and she had no regrets. Absolutely. I
- 7:54Speaker 1: mean she did everything in her life with grace and
- 7:57Speaker 1: with poise, and you know what, when you think about it,
- 8:00Speaker 1: she really made an impact in the world. Obviously, she
- 8:03Speaker 1: was a queen um and she lost the love of
- 8:06Speaker 1: her life just a year or so before. And to
- 8:09Speaker 1: know that they're reunited wherever you believe they are, is
- 8:13Speaker 1: such a wonderful feeling. So if I can take away
- 8:15Speaker 1: anything from this, I just want to think that when
- 8:18Speaker 1: I look back at my life, I want to make
- 8:20Speaker 1: sure that it made an impact on someone, even if
- 8:23Speaker 1: it's just my friends and family, and just be proud
- 8:26Speaker 1: and be surrounded by people. Know, I'm surrounded by people
- 8:30Speaker 1: that I love. So I think if you can walk
- 8:32Speaker 1: away with that, you're doing pretty good. And if you
- 8:34Speaker 1: make it to nine six, not so bad. No regrets.
- 8:38Speaker 1: The only way to have no regrets is to make
- 8:40Speaker 1: sure that now, today, every day, you live your life
- 8:44Speaker 1: as you want to live it. Queen Elizabeth rest in
- 8:48Speaker 1: peacemost what's going on with Harry Styles? But I got
- 8:52Speaker 1: all your couple of news to exact. Okay, So Harry
- 8:55Speaker 1: Styles is apparently reuniting with one of his ex girlfriends,
- 8:59Speaker 1: and that to none other than Kendall Jenner. So this
- 9:02Speaker 1: might be a little hashtag too soon, you know. I mean,
- 9:06Speaker 1: he just broke up with Olivia Wild, but I mean
- 9:09Speaker 1: he's single and he has read It's a mangal. Now
- 9:12Speaker 1: The Sun is reporting that he's been hanging out with Kendall,
- 9:15Speaker 1: who actually quietly split from her long time boyfriend Devin
- 9:19Speaker 1: Booker back in October. And so you know, I had
- 9:22Speaker 1: to I had to kind of make some phone calls,
- 9:24Speaker 1: do some digging myself, and basically what I'm hearing is
- 9:28Speaker 1: that Harry and Kendall never really stopped talking, that they've
- 9:32Speaker 1: always been kind of friends. And one of the reasons
- 9:35Speaker 1: is because they can both understand the meganus of their celebrities,
- 9:40Speaker 1: so they can talk about it and the relationships that
- 9:43Speaker 1: they've gone through. And you know, sometimes when you go
- 9:46Speaker 1: through something as traumatic as a breakup, when you're talking
- 9:49Speaker 1: to somebody that brings you closer. So we'll just have
- 9:52Speaker 1: to watch and wait and see. If they had a
- 9:55Speaker 1: basketball game, we know that that's right. Olivia Wild she
- 9:58Speaker 1: blew up her life styles and he seems like he's
- 10:02Speaker 1: moved on very very quickly. My sources were telling me
- 10:05Speaker 1: Olivia would would love to be back with Harry and
- 10:09Speaker 1: thought there was hope. There ain't any hope if he
- 10:11Speaker 1: was already moved on with Kendall Jenna Hey quickly. Before
- 10:15Speaker 1: we get a break, let's talk about Candice cameraon Burr
- 10:18Speaker 1: one more time. I promise we're not going to talk
- 10:20Speaker 1: about her much more. But she hasn't followed her full
- 10:24Speaker 1: house co star Jody Sweet and so Journy Sweet and
- 10:28Speaker 1: really really stood up for the gay community. After Candice cameeron,
- 10:31Speaker 1: Burr put out a statement saying that her new Christmas
- 10:34Speaker 1: shows and the network that she's working with just want
- 10:37Speaker 1: to focus on traditional marriage. So Jody was one of
- 10:41Speaker 1: the first people to say, hang on a minute, love
- 10:43Speaker 1: is love, This is homophobic. We can accept everybody. Everybody
- 10:47Speaker 1: should be reflected represented on TV or Candice didn't like that,
- 10:52Speaker 1: so she unfollowed her. I think here, we're not going
- 10:56Speaker 1: to change. Candice cameeron Burr. She's been very honest about
- 10:59Speaker 1: who she is, what her views are. She is not
- 11:02Speaker 1: going to change, and it's almost arrogant of us to
- 11:05Speaker 1: think she is. So instead of Candice cameraon burn and
- 11:08Speaker 1: following Jody Sweeter and I would argue all of us
- 11:12Speaker 1: should unfollow Candice cameraon Burr. What do you think I mean,
- 11:17Speaker 1: we're all looking at the negative side of the situation
- 11:20Speaker 1: instead of focusing on the positive. Let's take a moment
- 11:23Speaker 1: to celebrate the LGBTQ community. Jody Sweeten can use her
- 11:27Speaker 1: platform for that instead of saying all the things that
- 11:30Speaker 1: Candice cameraon Burr is doing wrong. Because, like you said,
- 11:32Speaker 1: nobody's going to change her mind. And when you are
- 11:35Speaker 1: in a situation like that, you have to make a decision.
- 11:37Speaker 1: You can once say we agree to disagree and these
- 11:40Speaker 1: are subject matters we don't talk about, or you put
- 11:43Speaker 1: that person on me. You just don't have them in
- 11:45Speaker 1: your inner circle because it's just going to make you
- 11:48Speaker 1: both fight over something that neither one of you are
- 11:50Speaker 1: going to change your views on whether you whether you
- 11:52Speaker 1: think they're right or wrong. So in this case, I'm
- 11:56Speaker 1: gonna unfollow her. I think easier just about this one.
- 12:00Speaker 1: At Hey, We're gonna take a quick break and we
- 12:01Speaker 1: will be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but
- 12:05Speaker 1: Night Show. I'm rob sure different d Hey, Misty, let's
- 12:08Speaker 1: get to the polls. Thank you very much there. Last
- 12:11Speaker 1: year we talked about Prince William and Kate Middleton coming
- 12:13Speaker 1: to Boston and they're not going to see Harry and
- 12:16Speaker 1: Megan while they are here. Our question was should they
- 12:19Speaker 1: all get together? Should they meet up for coffee or
- 12:21Speaker 1: even a cup of tea? That's much more British. Let's
- 12:25Speaker 1: said yes they should. Now I get California Boston. That's
- 12:29Speaker 1: a that's a distance, Misty. In fact, I think it's
- 12:31Speaker 1: a pretty much the same distance between London and Boston
- 12:34Speaker 1: as it is Boston and California. However, they're really rich people.
- 12:38Speaker 1: They're not flying Jet Blue. They've got the money to
- 12:41Speaker 1: do it. I say they should get together and try
- 12:45Speaker 1: and try and talk this through. Maybe Harry and Megan
- 12:48Speaker 1: could show them around New York. They love New York.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Maybe they could even fly out to meet Harry and
- 12:54Speaker 1: Megan in California. How good would that look if William
- 12:58Speaker 1: and Kate got on a plane and went to Lafornia
- 13:00Speaker 1: to see their new house the children. I think it's
- 13:04Speaker 1: such a missed opportunity. But we know there's a lot
- 13:08Speaker 1: of drama here and feelings that have not yet been resolved,
- 13:14Speaker 1: so that's a pole I agree. Don't forget to vote
- 13:18Speaker 1: on today's pol Go to actually a page at Naughty
- 13:21Speaker 1: Nice rob or on Facebook page Nudy goes Hip, and
- 13:23Speaker 1: be sure to check back to morrow to hear your results.
- 13:28Speaker 1: He mist lover, what are you working on? Oh well,
- 13:31Speaker 1: it's time for our nicest of the day, And our
- 13:34Speaker 1: nicest of the day is Elton John because he's ready
- 13:37Speaker 1: to pass the baton onto his children if they decide
- 13:41Speaker 1: that they want to pursue a career in music. So
- 13:45Speaker 1: we said, basically, they are still so young, so we're
- 13:47Speaker 1: not entirely sure they'll go down that path, but of course,
- 13:50Speaker 1: whatever their dreams and ambitions are, my husband David Furnish,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and I will fully support them now. He and his
- 13:57Speaker 1: husband they actually tie the not back in two thousand fourteen.
- 14:02Speaker 1: This was after nine years of the anniversary of their
- 14:05Speaker 1: simple partnership and after they welcomed their sons, Zachary and Elijah.
- 14:10Speaker 1: So the boys are you know, they're just they're young kids,
- 14:13Speaker 1: but they want to be musicians that they're going to be, like,
- 14:16Speaker 1: we support you. I love that they're supporting their kids
- 14:19Speaker 1: whatever they want to do, and I think that's a
- 14:20Speaker 1: lesson for everybody or parents out there. But I would
- 14:24Speaker 1: have to say just the warning here to following your
- 14:26Speaker 1: footsteps of Elton John. That's big shoes and big glasses
- 14:31Speaker 1: too to fill. I don't nervousty. It always makes me
- 14:34Speaker 1: nervous when I see these celebrity children coming to acting
- 14:38Speaker 1: or singing. It's hard. It's hard because you're always going
- 14:41Speaker 1: to be in the shadow of your dad or your mom.
- 14:44Speaker 1: So I wish you nothing but the best, but also
- 14:47Speaker 1: be aware of just who you are always gonna be
- 14:54Speaker 1: compared to. Uh nice is the day and now I'm
- 14:57Speaker 1: not use the day you. Kardashian has finally condemned Bliancy
- 15:02Speaker 1: Yaga after their controversial Teddy Bear shoot. So Bliancy Yaga
- 15:08Speaker 1: are in a ton of trouble for an ad campaign. Rightfully,
- 15:11Speaker 1: so they're in all this trouble because a lot of
- 15:14Speaker 1: people are saying it's sexualized children. It shows kids holding
- 15:17Speaker 1: what appears to be Teddy Bears dressed in bondage gear.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Kim said the following. I have been quiet for a
- 15:24Speaker 1: few days, not because I'm not disgusted or outraged, but
- 15:28Speaker 1: rather because I wanted to have the opportunity to speak
- 15:31Speaker 1: to their team and understand myself what has happened. Well, Kim,
- 15:35Speaker 1: you have spoke to the team. Now what did they say.
- 15:39Speaker 1: We deserve to know. And if you don't want us
- 15:42Speaker 1: to know and you were not satisfied with what they
- 15:45Speaker 1: had to say, then you have to get away from
- 15:48Speaker 1: this brand. This is not right sexualizing children. You're the
- 15:52Speaker 1: mother of four kids, Kim, get away from this famous deal.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Let's end with a moment of rob. You're gonnab Rob.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I love this quote by Maya Angela. So she has
- 16:03Speaker 1: so many amazing quotes out there, but this one I
- 16:05Speaker 1: had not heard of before, and I love it. She said,
- 16:07Speaker 1: we delight in the beauty of the butterflyer, but we
- 16:10Speaker 1: rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve
- 16:14Speaker 1: that beauty. So what she's saying here is we all
- 16:16Speaker 1: look at the end results, we all look at the butterfly,
- 16:19Speaker 1: but what we forget or we don't want to acknowledge,
- 16:21Speaker 1: is that before it was a butterflyer, it had to grow,
- 16:25Speaker 1: It had to go through a lot of changes, some
- 16:27Speaker 1: of which were not that pretty. That is the same,
- 16:31Speaker 1: the same truth with you and me. To become the
- 16:34Speaker 1: person you wanta be, you gotta do some dirty work.
- 16:38Speaker 1: That isn't that pretty, it's not that glamorous, it's not
- 16:42Speaker 1: that much fun. But do the work and you will
- 16:45Speaker 1: become a butterflyer. Absolutely. I mean, we know the grant
- 16:49Speaker 1: that this job. You hitting the phone, standing outside of
- 16:53Speaker 1: bathrooms to talk to celebrities just so we can earn
- 16:56Speaker 1: that glass of wine at that fabulous party where they
- 16:58Speaker 1: take our picture. That is it for today. Thank you
- 17:01Speaker 1: so much for listening to The Naughty but Nice with
- 17:04Speaker 1: Robert Misty Show, a production of I Heart Radio. Don't
- 17:07Speaker 1: forget to subscribe if you can, and all together now, remember,
- 17:13Speaker 1: if you're going to be naughty, you've got to be nice.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Take care of everybody, pipp In. It's not even nice
- 17:23Speaker 1: with Bro
