- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Convertible.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: This is from my planet to yours.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: The I stands for intuition.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Intucentricism.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Planet butters philosophy.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Stick with me.
- 0:44The show is where we reflect on society and practice leading
- 0:48with our intuition,
- 0:50prioritizing self-control and self-expression while holding
- 0:54space for the feelings,
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: desires,
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: and experiences of others.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: into centricism.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Stick with me.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: I'll show you how.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Thanks for joining me in my 63rd episode.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: As always,
- 1:10please email me any questions you have about your world or
- 1:15Planet Butter's philosophy.

- 1:24SPEAKER_00: So last week,
- 1:26I ended the show telling you guys that I heard somewhere
- 1:30somebody said that gravity
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: is like glue.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: And I was like, there's a lot to say about that.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: I don't know what yet.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Let's think about it.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Let's play.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: So I played.
- 1:42And actually,
- 1:43I've decided that gravity is more like a seatbelt,
- 1:46not glue.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Because think about it.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: We're floating in space.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Earth is in space.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: We are part of space, the universe.
- 2:01So to keep us from floating off of Earth and into space,
- 2:08we have a seatbelt called gravity.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Because we can technically fly off of Earth, right?
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Planes, rockets.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: We're already exploring other parts of space, right?
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: So...
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: We have, like, it's not glue.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Glue keeps you down.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Seatbelts are like a suggestion.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Buckle up.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Glue is like stay forever.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Gravity is not like glue.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Gravity is like a seatbelt.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Now, the how for everything.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Because I love to remind us that everybody's how is different.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: However,
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: another thing I remind us all is that we have not so unique ideas,
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: but unique arrivals.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Most of the time, ideas aren't unique.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: However, the way we arrive at ideas will forever be unique.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: So it's the same with how.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: How we do things, well, it's not the same, but similar.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: How we do anything will vary per person.
- 3:20And the how is always the fundamental things involved in a how
- 3:28are personal
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: responsibility and magic.
- 3:33Personal responsibility through Planet Butter's lens is the
- 3:36willingness to do more,
- 3:38do less,
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: and pivot while trusting the unis got the rest.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: That's the magic.
- 3:47The magic,
- 3:48quote unquote,
- 3:49as I love to call it,
- 3:51is really just the stuff we can't fathom.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Magic.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: The stuff we can't fathom.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Because we're just humans.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: We have incredible intellect, but there's still so much we cannot fathom.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: possibly understand.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: And maybe one day we'll evolve to understand, but right now, no.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: So, magic.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: And on taking responsibility, let's dig into that a little bit more.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Again,
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: through Planet Butter's lens,
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: taking responsibility is the willingness to do more,
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: do less,
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: and pivot.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Doing more is reflecting, acting, considering.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Doing less is resting, receiving, releasing.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: And pivoting is perspective dancing,
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: which is taking a fact,
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: phrase,
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: perspective,
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: and finding,
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: creating,
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: creating,
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: creating,
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: creating,
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: creating a way to view it from an empowered way
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: and optimistic lens.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: That's perspective dancing.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: The other two pieces of a pivot are the reverse clause,
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter's reverse clause,
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: which is approaching things in an inside out,
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: backwards,
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: inverse,
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: or whatever kind of way.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: It's the perpetual question of what makes sense to me?
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Not me, me, you, you.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: For me, I ask me.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: For you, you ask you.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: What makes sense to me?
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: And the third part of the pivot is objectivity.
- 5:43So we become objective so that we can perspective dance and do
- 5:49the little reverse clause.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: So again, taking responsibility.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Do more, do less, pivot.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: You got it.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: And email me if you have any questions.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Lastly on that is a note on magic.
- 6:07If we think that we need magic in an area of our life where
- 6:13it's not apparently
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: showing up,
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: then we do not need it there yet.
- 6:21It's an invitation to take more responsibility in that area if
- 6:25we are outsourcing money.
- 6:27Magic or relying on magic in an area where we don't think we
- 6:32see magic because
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: there's always magic because we don't know about it,
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: right?
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: However,
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: if we think it needs to show up somewhere and it's not showing up,
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: then that means we need to take more responsibility.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: Very important detail.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Also, expecting magic where it's not blatantly obvious.
- 6:53is also creating resistance because you're not taking personal responsibility.
- 6:57We need to take personal responsibility where we think there
- 7:00needs to be magic.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: If you think there needs to be magic and it's not showing up,
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: I've said this so many times now,
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Chloe,
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: find where you can take more responsibility.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Double down, triple down, quadruple down, do what you got to do.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Find a way.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: There's something that you can do.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: It could be something tiny.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Just do something.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: The uni will see your efforts and love you for it.
- 7:26Now,
- 7:26while things take time,
- 7:29time is really just a mix of energy,
- 7:33to put it simply.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: So if we shift energy, we're playing with time.
- 7:41Example,
- 7:42I have a little coffee table where I keep my...
- 7:46Oh,
- 7:47I was looking at myself.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Hi, baby.
- 7:49Where I keep my copy,
- 7:51one of my copies of my coffee table book with a lesson,
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: And on that coffee table,
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: well,
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: actually,
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: I just gifted that book to a friend who asked for it,
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: which was so cute,
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: and I signed it for him.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be personal, it already is.
- 8:05So I have since moved that energy from the table and have some
- 8:13seashells and Palo
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Santo on the table,
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: and I have two little Planet Butter postcards on this table.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: And what I do now, since gifting that book,
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: I, every morning, afternoon, whenever I feel like it.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:28I literally just shift the shells and the Palo Santo and the
- 8:31postcards around the
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: table in like a different order,
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: just to mix up the energy playing with time.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Planet butter's time specifically,
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: because the energy of planet butter is just like boom,
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: boom,
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: boom on that table.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, magic.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: time, energy, whatever.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: It's fun.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: Just try it.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: It makes me feel good and it keeps the energy fresh.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: It really does.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Try it.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: Also,
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: I've shared with you guys recently on Planet Butter's Instagram that Dr.
- 9:05Jill Bolt Taylor has clarified for us that emotions take only
- 9:1190 seconds to process.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: So that means that if an emotion is lasting longer than 90 seconds,
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: that's you ruminating on the thought.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: Now, this can be a positive experience or a negative one.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: The choice is yours.
- 9:30We can repeat positive thoughts and the release of the new
- 9:33emotion can be a
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: positive one,
- 9:34or we could ruminate on negative thoughts and the release can
- 9:37be an unpleasant emotion.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: The choice is yours.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: So I did the math.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: We have 960 emotional experiences in a day.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: That is 90 sets.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: I mean, 960 sets of 90 seconds in 24 hours.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: I'm not a math girl, but I played.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: It was fun.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: Partially for silliness, partially for this perspective.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: 960 emotional experiences a day.
- 10:11So consider your dominant emotional experience in those 960
- 10:15sets of emotional processing.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: Are you happy with your decision?
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: If not, how are you going to take responsibility for it?
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Let me know.
- 10:32Now,
- 10:32a popular phrase that I've been seeing,
- 10:33I think Mel Robbins coined it,
- 10:35let them,
- 10:36let them.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: Let them do this.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: Let them do that, right?
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Like whatever it is, just let them.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: But when I see people talk about it, it's like negative things.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Let them treat you like shit so you know where they stand.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Let them blah, blah, blah.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, that's true.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Great reminder.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And let them do.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: but for the good stuff.
- 10:58Because I think sometimes some of us have a little resistance
- 11:04or a hard time
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: accepting the good stuff from people because of past trauma.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: That's really it.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: It's always trauma.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: Childhood, baby.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Now, oh, this is hilarious.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: These guys at my gym slash spa, there's a pool lounge area.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: It's pretty social with these two guys.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: It's a bit of a younger crowd.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Like we're all 20s, 30s, some 40s.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: But these two guys are clearly on the older side.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: And it was a pretty busy day.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: They come and they sit.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: They walk towards me to sit because there was some space next to me.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: And I said something friendly to them, whatever.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: We had a little chat.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: And then they jokingly, but half jokingly said, don't leave too soon.
- 11:57SPEAKER_00: It'll make us look bad.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: And while it is a half joke,
- 12:04the half of it that's not a joke is unfortunately all the guys
- 12:09in society who give
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: men a bad reputation.
- 12:14have made perfectly kind gentlemen like them have to ask women
- 12:19to not leave too
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: soon so they don't look back.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: It's so fucked up.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: It's like the loud ones always cause the problems, right?
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: So the men in society that people love to hate on do suck.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: But not all men suck.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: In fact, I would say most don't.
- 12:43We just are aware of the shit ones because they're shit and
- 12:49people focus on shit.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: But if we focused on not shit, men wouldn't have such a bad rep.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: And yeah, I could say more.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: We could talk about women too, but I'm not gonna.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: That was the note.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: You get it.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: We had a good giggle.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Moving on.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: Here's an important reminder.
- 13:10Just because we start something actually doesn't mean we need
- 13:14to finish it.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's just a little seed of action for other inspiration.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: And speaking of seeds,
- 13:22sometimes it's just time to water a seed and there doesn't
- 13:26necessarily need to be
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: anything else.
- 13:29Sometimes our little inspiration is just like,
- 13:32check in on that little guy over there.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: And then you go, okay, I will water this one.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: And then you just let it, just let it grow.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: Step away.
- 13:41Do the little inspired action and then step back and go do
- 13:45whatever comes next.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it'll grow.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it won't grow.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: Just keep going with your inspired action.
- 13:59self friendship the commitment to embracing understanding and
- 14:01enjoying ourselves
- 14:02get inspired check your boundaries embody confidence because
- 14:07you've respected those
- 14:08boundaries once you've checked them and then you'll operate in
- 14:11alignment which is
- 14:13embodying your role in the ever expansive universe and in that
- 14:18you get to embrace
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: understand and enjoy yourself the silliest okay
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, cool.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: Okay, here's a perspective dance.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: It's experience, not a limitation, unless you allow it to be.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: We allow it to be.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: If you think something is a limitation, perspective dance it.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: And that perspective dance can be this is an experience.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: And then you decide what is the experience
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: And maybe,
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: especially because it's a limitation,
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: it's likely a self-imposed one because of your belief system.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: Even if it's an external one,
- 15:05it's still self-imposed because you're allowing it to dictate
- 15:07whatever you're doing.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: So if an external circumstance seemingly is limiting you,
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: self-reflect,
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: self-connect,
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: how can you take more responsibility?
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: Can you do more, do less, or pivot?
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: Think about it.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 15:21The uni,
- 15:23our darling universe,
- 15:24which by the way,
- 15:25I was on a podcast the other day.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: It'll be out soon behind the mic bonus.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: I forget when the day it releases, but it was such a good episode.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: And I read the,
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: one of my love notes that's in my opening of the chapter book,
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter's chapter book,
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Far Out Fundamentals,
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: coming soon.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: It was so good.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: And Scott,
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: the host,
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: pointed out to me,
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: I mean,
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: obviously I know this,
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: but I forget that other people don't call the universe uni.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: And I just talk to uni regularly.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, that's my buddy.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, it's like a little kid calling their parent mom or dad.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: It's like they hear their real name.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: What are you talking about?
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: Because I kind of think the universe is like my parent in some ways.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Because it's just looking out for me.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: Anyway, the uni keeps us on a need to know basis.
- 16:20It tells us what we need to know so that we do what we need to
- 16:24do so it can do its magic.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: Consider it.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: Now.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: Bali, I live in Bali.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: I'm based in Bali, Indonesia, this amazing, magical little island.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: And I've been convinced that there's an extremely potent energy here.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: And when I was telling one of my friends this,
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: he told me that Bali is part of the Ring of Fire,
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: which I didn't know was a thing,
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: but it just sounded so cool.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: But apparently people know that this is a thing.
- 16:54And what it is,
- 16:56it's all of the countries that are on Earth's equator,
- 16:59right?
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: So it's the hottest places.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: So it would make perfect freaking sense that it is a more potent energy.
- 17:10And that further blew my mind,
- 17:13especially because there's this other concept of Bali time.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: People joke about people being late or slow because it's Bali.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: It's an island life.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: Here's the thing.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: I believe part of that
- 17:29potent energy that I observe in Bali and I observe it because I
- 17:35see it in the
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: experiences of people that I talk to here and myself,
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: the intensity of it.
- 17:43And I think this,
- 17:47because I also have been really talking a lot about how time is
- 17:50not linear.
- 17:51And that's also the love note that I shared on Scott's show
- 17:54behind the mic wellness is
- 17:57my love note is about how time is not linear and relating it to
- 18:00Planet Butter's
- 18:00philosophy of into centricism and further connecting it to the
- 18:05individual's timeline.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: And so Bali has this time.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: So it's like,
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: we've all collectively agreed on 24 hours in a day,
- 18:16SPEAKER_00: 60 seconds in a minute,
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: blah,
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: blah.
- 18:19And yet,
- 18:20I mean,
- 18:21this will vary place per place,
- 18:22but I'm talking about Bali.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: Just Bali.
- 18:24I've found the energy to be potent and I found the time to
- 18:29further enhance this
- 18:30belief of that potency and the fact that it is this ring of
- 18:33fire placement on earth
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: and we're in space and it is,
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: everything is entirely energy.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: It just makes so much sense because Bali time,
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: it's,
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: there's something to say for the fact that collectively people are,
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: experience the days as longer here.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Like what happens in two days here might happen in a week somewhere else.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: And that's because we've all collectively agreed to those labels of like,
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: it has only been 48 hours.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: It has only been whatever, whatever, whatever.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: However,
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: because time is not linear,
- 19:09if we stripped away those labels of what time is and focus on
- 19:13just the experiences
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: of whatever happens in that time being whatever the experience is,
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: It would help in our evolution,
- 19:24in our development and expression of our healthy ego because we
- 19:28wouldn't be
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: attributing it to a label.
- 19:29We wouldn't have the pressure of societal labels on whatever
- 19:33we've experienced in a
- 19:34set timeframe because our emotional and physical experiences of
- 19:40time do not reflect
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: the societal construct of what time is.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: So come to Bali, see for yourself.
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: Now,
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: that same friend that told me about the Ring of Fire also said to me,
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: people love extremes because they're easier to wrap their heads around.
- 20:04I loved that because I found it very interesting because
- 20:10everything I talk about is
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: entirely a nuance and entirely gray,
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: if you will.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: So
- 20:18People loving extremes because it's easy to wrap their head
- 20:21around gave me a lot of
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: understanding for navigating my communication of planet butter.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: And what I find so funny is we can perspective dance this, okay?
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: Perspective dance.
- 20:41Consider reflecting on why an extreme is easier for you to wrap
- 20:47your head around,
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: if it is for you.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: And maybe consider that gray is easier to wrap your head around,
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: perhaps,
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: because gray embodies all.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: It's the understanding of multi-perspectives.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Gray is perspective dancing.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: Gray is oneness.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Extremes are duality,
- 21:15which is really just a concept that we use to break down the
- 21:19understanding of oneness.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: Everything always comes back to oneness because that is all there is.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: Duality helps us understand it, but there's only oneness.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: So if you love an extreme,
- 21:33maybe consider the other extreme and then you'll find yourself
- 21:36back in that gray.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: Oneness.
- 21:40SPEAKER_00: Plan it better.
- 21:42The development and expression of the healthy ego,
- 21:44a world made of sparkly peanut butter.
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Stick with me.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: Now there's two types of compartmentalization.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: Narrow-minded and expansive-minded.
- 21:57Narrow-minded are those who compartmentalize as a means for
- 22:01categorizing and logic.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: There's nothing wrong with this.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: It's simply narrow-minded.
- 22:09Expansive compartmentalization is a form of emotional intellect
- 22:14because it's the
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: separation of segments of a situation and dynamics,
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: people,
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: things,
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: what have you,
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: as a means for effectively interacting,
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: engaging,
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: and evolving.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: Consider it.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Let me know if you have any questions.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: It's myplanetsyours at gmail.com.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: Now, why we should...
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: quote unquote, have expectations.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Nuances, people.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: While expectations in terms of results is rarely,
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: if ever,
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: productive,
- 22:52expectations in relation to standards in any given situation
- 22:56can be correlated to
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: our boundaries.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: The first core method to activate our self-friendship,
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: the commitment to embracing,
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: understanding,
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: and enjoying ourselves.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: While I expect Planet Butter to be a beast of a business,
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: I don't have an expectation as to how.
- 23:17I just have the standard of high impact on society and for
- 23:22myself to take full
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: responsibility for it.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: In relationships,
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: if you don't have any expectations of a person,
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: you might not have enough standards or boundaries.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Remember, if we're rooting this in boundaries, then
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: You should have them, right?
- 23:41At least if you want to practice self-friendship and develop
- 23:43and express your healthy ego.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: Remember my phrase too.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: What we accept is what we deserve.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: Keep those standards high, baby.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Now here's a cool one.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: The receiving side of people-pleasing.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: The receiver of the people pleaser,
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: if emotionally intelligent enough,
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: likely will be able to identify that a person is people pleasing them,
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: self-abandoning themselves for their needs.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: People pleasing is really a form of self-abandonment.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: And I've talked about this before.
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: I don't remember the episode.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Listen to all of them.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: On the receiving side,
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: perhaps considering being considerate of your friend,
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: friendly,
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: or whatever,
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: and encourage them to not people-pleased.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: Ask them if they're sure that that's what they want to do and why.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: Challenge their self-friendship practice.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Encourage their boundaries.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: Don't enable it by letting them bend and please you.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: And if you like that they're bending to please you,
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: then you're not healthy and you need some help.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: Now, writer's block is bullshit.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: You don't have writer's block.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: You have resistance.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: Writing is literally putting your thoughts to paper or keyboard.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: So it's impossible to stop thinking, right?
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: That means you're trying to write about something that's not in flow.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: If you're trying, you're resisting.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: If you're resisting, you're not blocked.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Drop the excuse.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: Lastly, intuition in small moments.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: The other day, I was at the gym.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: I did my sauna, my ice bath, all good things.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: And I had a smoothie on my walk to sunset.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: And it's a high protein smoothie, like 33 grams of protein.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: And
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: I finished it.
- 26:22SPEAKER_00: It was delicious.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: Sunset was gorgeous.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: And I was full.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: I was probably going to eat again in a couple hours, but I was full.
- 26:29And even though I was full,
- 26:31my intuition was like pizza,
- 26:32pizza,
- 26:33pizza,
- 26:33pizza,
- 26:33pizza.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: It wasn't my stomach.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: My stomach was full.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: My intuition was like, go to Tony's Pizza.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: It's like a New York style pizza place here in Bali.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: And honestly, they do a really good job.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: So I was like, fuck, I'm full, but I can't say no to my intuition.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: I was like, obviously I'm supposed to go to Tony's Pizza.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: And intuition always wins.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: So I went.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: I got a slice.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: It was delicious.
- 26:59SPEAKER_00: I was super full by then.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: But intuition called, I answered.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: And when I arrived,
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: I saw two of my lucky numbers right off the bat.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: So it was meant to be, obviously, I was affirmed in being there.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Nothing so dramatic happened.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: It was just affirmed.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: And that's why I'm sharing this because our intuition is always with us.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: It does not only need to be referenced in these big pivotal moments where
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: everybody's like,
- 27:28SPEAKER_00: listen to your body,
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: listen to yourself.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: This is what you, you know what you need to do.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: And it's like, yeah, true.
- 27:33But also sometimes it's just going to get a slice of pizza
- 27:36because your intuition said so.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: It's about making life fun and staying in alignment.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: Your role in the ever expansive universe.
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: My role in that moment was to get pizza.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: We don't know why.
- 27:51Maybe I was supposed to deliver a message to the cashier that
- 27:53was super important
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: for them to hear during our conversation.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: Or maybe I was supposed to talk to somebody else,
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: or maybe somebody else was supposed to say something to me.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: And it's just like, and it's all supposed to be whatever it was.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: But we don't know why, because that's the uni's magic.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: We don't need to know.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Our intuition is just leading us along the way.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm always happy to have a slice of pizza.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: Whatever you want, you need.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: You see?
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Take that with you.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: I love you.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Ta-da!
