- 0:05Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling. Welcome back Drama, Darlings.
- 0:20It's a very special day today. There's a lot. There's a lad
- 0:25going in Orange County recap which we finally get into the Shannon Tamra thing.
- 0:31And if you are not subscribed to my Patreon, please do it now.
- 0:36Tomorrow I'm doing vander pump Rule's Secrets Revealed, and I'm also doing this week
- 0:41the Curious Case of Natalia Grace Deep Cleansing Breaths. I know that you are
- 0:47all watching that over on Max HBO Max, but anyway, it's over there,
- 0:53so check it out. It's a very bizarre and odd, heartbreaking story
- 0:59and you're going to be covering it. Sound that's fun anyway, So go
- 1:03ahead and subscribe to that over on Patreon. In the meantime, I am
- 1:07so delighted to introduce to you my incredible friend of so many years, Katie
- 1:11Nonsen, is here. Hi Katie, Hi friend. It's such a nice
- 1:17thing to say. Oh my gosh. Katie Nonsen, writer, performer,
- 1:19extraordinaire. She's currently working on Spendtuney. Where can people watch spend Tuny?
- 1:26It's Saturday nights on Me TV. You know what Brett Bartender Brett aka Brett
- 1:32bretteger Uh, he's been upgraded too. He's been promoted to my podcast manager.
- 1:38I don't know if you heard great good. He deserves it anyway,
- 1:44he is like he loves that show and we Your husband, Kevin works on
- 1:49it as well, right, Yes, that is so kind. Yeah,
- 1:53Kevin works on it. My brother in law, Stephen works on it.
- 1:56It's become a real family business. Are you guys from Jersey because this is
- 2:00actually you wouldn't be from Jersey because they can't actually make it work as family
- 2:06businesses. There's no Pizza Evans involved on No, this is like, this
- 2:10is this is the I guess third time professionally that I've worked with Kevin and
- 2:15the second time professionally that I've worked with Steven. Kevin and Stephen are always
- 2:21working together and stuff, so it's pretty bonkers like and it does. It
- 2:24does work because I write like Stephen and Kevin are kind of the main people
- 2:29on camera, and I'm on camera like every fourth episode probably doing like a
- 2:32character or something. So I mostly write it, and I write on it
- 2:36like I write, I write the show. So along with other people too.
- 2:39It's not just me, but like al c Emuels and oh, I
- 2:43didn't know he worked on that show. Oh my god, Emily, Hey,
- 2:46darlings, that's Emily Durasis, his husband show quite often, Oh my
- 2:52gosh, unbelievable, super small world. But it's it's it's fun because I
- 2:58write for Steven and and Well and Kevin, but like Stephen especially, I
- 3:01feel like I really get his character and his strengths and what he's good at
- 3:07and what you can like directions that he can be pushed in. So it's
- 3:09fun to do. I mean, it's amazing, especially because we all know,
- 3:13I mean, some of the darlings that have listened to my podcast and
- 3:16listen to my Serious sexem show over the years have know that like we all
- 3:21met in the improv world, Like we all met our spouses, we all
- 3:23met our partners in the improv world. So we've all been working together before
- 3:28we were lovers, you know what I mean. Like, so it's a
- 3:30very common thing too, you know, for couples in this world of comedy
- 3:36to actually successfully work together, because that's how we met. So and I
- 3:39always love seeing these stories and hearing these stories. But anyway, spend tuney
- 3:45and I'm so excited about that. Everybody check it out. Okay, So
- 3:50before we actually get into our orange, I can't talk today because you know,
- 3:57the parents are in town, all right. So it's like again my
- 4:00morning where it's like, do you have any asper cream and an old rag?
- 4:03I'm like, I don't know what is asper cream? I don't.
- 4:06He's like, it's what you put on. I was like, okay,
- 4:09but how is it different than regular cream? You know, it's it's this
- 4:13a lot of requests coming my way left and right, and I'm like trying
- 4:16to get ready and set up, and my dad's coming in here and he's
- 4:18like, hey, have you heard about that AI taken over. I'm like,
- 4:21yeah, it's gonna and take over the entire unifor we're all doomed,
- 4:25you know, in a light conversation before you sit your podcast. Yeah,
- 4:30Because he's up at like, you know, four thirty. I couldn't sleep,
- 4:33so I came out here, you know, almost stepped in the cat
- 4:36puke, which, by the way, they're the cat real big hairball.
- 4:40Sorry about that, guys, but uh, they're always the first to find
- 4:45the cat puke. If that ever happens because they're up before any of us,
- 4:48you know, so they're like, oh my gosh, like, well
- 4:50I would have found it. I mean, I get up at six,
- 4:54but like you're up at four thirty, the first person up is the one
- 4:57who gets to clean it up. Poor angels, I know, I know.
- 5:02I mean. And thank you, by the way to all the people
- 5:04who send me like hilarious cat videos. And again, my Instagram reels feed
- 5:11is all pets. It's all like, none of it is even Bravo related
- 5:16because when I scroll through reels, I'm usually doing it with Maddie and we're
- 5:21watching pet videos and stuff like that. So the algorithm on reels for me
- 5:26is all cat videos and maybe some dog videos here and there, some birds
- 5:30whatever. And then people send me them and they're just they're just hilarious.
- 5:33I just love them so much. I could go down a warmhall all day
- 5:36long. All right, Well that was our see You Next Cat Today segments,
- 5:45our unofficial See Next Catternary segment. Katie, let's get into some serving
- 5:49dish, Serving dish. Sonya Morgan and all the ladies have posted some video
- 5:57from Saint Bart's The Incredible Real Housewife Ultimate Girls Trip New York Legacy Shows.
- 6:04How many words does it have to be? It's too much to say this
- 6:08morning. But anyway, they're in Saint Bart's and Kelly ben Simone did a
- 6:12TikTok and now it's gone viral. It's basically all of them dancing towards the
- 6:15camera to don't Don't You Want Me? You know that song? Oh?
- 6:21Yeah, of course? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So anyway, you
- 6:27know how all the Ultimate Girls Trips always kick it off with a TikTok video.
- 6:32I don't know if you've seen, but this is there and it's very
- 6:34exciting. Yeah, they do, and I'm happy for them. I can't
- 6:38wait to see it. I'm still a little disappointed it's only going to be
- 6:40an Ultimate Girls Trip, But what are you going to do? I mean,
- 6:42at this point we have to accept accept it for what it is.
- 6:46Katie thoughts on Ultimate Girls Trip. Are you excited that they went back to
- 6:48Saint Bart's. Yeah, that seems to be kind of a magical place where
- 6:53a lot of really fun and entertaining things go down. So yeah, good,
- 6:58I mean, of course, good decision to go, yes the yeah,
- 7:01good producer decision. In other news, John Fuda Fuda is on fucking
- 7:08Cameo. You can find Fulkan Fuda on fulking Cameo. All right, so
- 7:13John Fuda from are you watching Jersey or No? It's a little intense right
- 7:17now. I don't know. I have not because it's a little intense right
- 7:20now, understandable, you know a lot of people. This is the first
- 7:24time that I've literally been like I needed to dip out now. That's it's
- 7:30so interesting because have you heard the phrase dipped out before the scandal all of
- 7:33it all, because it's been never in my life. I mean, when
- 7:36he said it, I knew what it meant, but I was like,
- 7:39huh, I guess that makes sense of something to say, But I know
- 7:44I never heard anybody say it in a sentence before. It's been on three
- 7:47other shows on Bravo. Because that was just Martha's Vineyard. That was Summerhouse,
- 7:51martha Vineyard. I just did that. That was Craig. That was
- 7:58Craig. Yeah, yeah, Okay, So anyway, I almost had to
- 8:03dip out, well almost, It's the end of the season, so I
- 8:07don't need to dip out. Also, it's my job, can't dip out.
- 8:09But I do feel that that emotion when you're watching Jersey. At this
- 8:13point for Reunion three, I was like, wow, I understand when people
- 8:18say I can't take this anymore and I'm not watching. Like, so,
- 8:22if you were to choose team well, I mean, if you were to
- 8:26choose to who was to come back, either Melissa or Teresa, who would
- 8:30it be? Teresa? Wow? Yeah? Entertainment value, right, is
- 8:35that what it is? Yes? Yes, she's she's an original and yeah,
- 8:41I oh, this is going to be controversial, especially since I just
- 8:45admitted that I haven't been watching much this season. Oh okay, well that
- 8:48you know what, darlings, make a note of that, because yeah,
- 8:52make a note, make it. This is based on many, many seasons
- 8:56prior. Okay, so there you go. Yeah, I just like Melissa
- 9:01isn't Melissa needs Teresa or Teresa doesn't mean Melissa on camera to do the two
- 9:07four on camera. Maybe not in life, but on camera and watching the
- 9:09show certainly. I hear you. I hear you loud and clear. You
- 9:13know. In other news, Southern Charms, Taylor. I don't know if
- 9:18you ever watched Southern Charm, but her brother just died and it's so wild.
- 9:24I know he was thirty six years old. So Taylor Anne Green as
- 9:28we know her, she was on the show Southern Charm. She was Shep's
- 9:33girlfriend for a while and famously infamously they broke up. Taylor's brother passed away
- 9:39at the age of thirty six. It doesn't say what the cause of death
- 9:43was, but it is devastating to hear this, especially you know, it's
- 9:48a bizarre coincidence because not too long ago, Olivia Flowers brother died and that
- 9:56was Austin's girlfriend, ex girlfriend, and he suffered from a debilitating lime disease,
- 10:03so he had passed. But it's two of the ex girlfriends from Southern
- 10:09Charm whose brothers both died at a very young age, within I would say,
- 10:13within months of each other. It's extremely sad. I was so sad
- 10:18to hear this. What a tragic coincidence. I know, I know,
- 10:22that's awful. I do watch. I'm sorry to hear that. Why don't
- 10:28we just swivel right into Orange County. Okay, let's get into it Orange
- 10:33County. Baby, that's the cheetah noise anyway, terrifying to everyone alike.
- 10:43Well, this is something that you and I can relate with. Katie because
- 10:46Emily and Jen. We start with Emily and Jensen and their Midwest broads and
- 10:50they just order drink and a coke and a smile, and I mean we
- 10:52can kind of relate with that, right, You're a Midwest gal. I'm
- 10:56a Midwest gal. We met in Chicago. Come on, it's us.
- 11:00Yeah, that's really common. A lot of Yes, that didn't weird me
- 11:03out at all. I didn't even think about it until they made it.
- 11:05Until they made a big deal about it and mentioned it like a thousand times
- 11:09about how they both ordered drinks. I'm like, oh, that's right,
- 11:11you do order like a diet coke and a glass of ice and something with
- 11:16alcohol in it and maybe some decaf coffee or you know whatever. Yes,
- 11:22oh my god, Den Needs would order coffee million percent like a pickleback.
- 11:26Yeah, absolutely, just what line it up? I mean for sure,
- 11:30it's so Midwest. I love it. Although I'm not a diet coke person.
- 11:33I'm a coke all the way. I don't I don't f with I
- 11:37don't f with a diet. I'm never a diet person. The flavor is
- 11:39not good and and also you know when it was nutril sweet, is it
- 11:46even it's not really nutrous sweet anymore. But when it was, that flavor
- 11:48would mess me up. But my system would be like, you know,
- 11:52i'd be, I don't know, flinch to it. Really, yeah,
- 11:54I feel like that was I think that that's probably why they don't put it
- 11:58in there anymore. I would guess. I would guess you weren't alone.
- 12:03I don't drink diet coke anymore, but ooh, I used to. And
- 12:07that idea of like having a uh, you know, some tequila or whatever
- 12:13with a side of diet coke and like that just was like, oh,
- 12:15that sounds so nostalgic to me, is it? It's really yester years like
- 12:20a bump of coke. I mean, it probably made you so wired too
- 12:22write it was kind of like having a red bull on the side. Absolutely
- 12:26not to accuse you of doing coke, Katie, I mean, let's just
- 12:30be clear about that. That was never my thing. But I did like
- 12:33a diet coke with like a glass of wine, which sounds so strange getting
- 12:39back to Jersey. That's a Jersey thing. A coke and and wine,
- 12:43you know, which I've had before. And look, I can't I can't
- 12:46shit on that. I really can't. I have had it, and I'm
- 12:50like, it's not that bad. It sounds disgusting, it's not it's refreshing.
- 12:56It's not that bad. I'm sorry to say, it's really nice.
- 13:00What can I say? What can I say? What can I say?
- 13:01Those Jersey girls they know something too, So I'm just like, I like
- 13:07getting to know this jeng Gal. I was like really surprised because last week
- 13:11we didn't really get into the fostering situation. I think maybe we did,
- 13:18you know, swiped over it, but I never landed on. Oh.
- 13:20Okay, so you fostered many kids over the years. You had four biological
- 13:26kids, and then this last child that you were fostering had such an intense
- 13:31story that you decided to adopt him dominic right, and I wanted to know
- 13:37more about that story. Like there, I feel like that there is a
- 13:39lot more details that were not uncovered. Skipping ahead, no thanks to Shannon
- 13:45on the boat interrupting, but very on brand something really, I mean,
- 13:56it's so on brand something like that. Okay, Yeah, Like Jen had
- 14:03a captivated audience and I was a captivated audience. Yes, let's get into
- 14:09this little sweet little boy, Like I want to know his story and your
- 14:13story with him, and but Shannon, she did Shannon is in her own
- 14:20world. I grew up on boats. Is that show? Is it?
- 14:24Johnson? I mean it was so Shannon made me laugh. I laughed a
- 14:28lot more in this episode than I was expecting. Shannon made me laugh.
- 14:33God bless Shannon. Please don't ever change a thing. And you know,
- 14:37and Heather du Bro made me laugh actually several times. Doing your own stunts
- 14:41in that scene where she jumped on that packing material, you know, actually
- 14:45made me laugh. And when she threw that shot and it just shattered everywhere
- 14:48on the boat, what was she thinking? Like what? And also just
- 14:54when they were at the end of the episode, when when dam Or and
- 14:58Emily were having that heart to her and She's just like, let me get
- 15:01in here. I want to sit right here and just like sitting on their
- 15:05laps, Like what instinct would you need to be? Like? Cool?
- 15:09Okay, they look like they're having a really in depth conversation about something important.
- 15:11I Am going to literally sit on their laps and get in their face
- 15:16and kiss them on the lips. I know, I know, I love.
- 15:18It was so weird and I loved it so much and I loved that
- 15:20Emily and her confessional was like she's an interrupter, Heather the interrupter. You
- 15:26know, she just gets it. I was like, I love I Look,
- 15:28we can't have entertainment unless someone's going to go sit on someone's lap and
- 15:31be like shamps have some kisses. And it was so funny because Tarma was
- 15:35so receptive to it. You know, she wasn't mad about it at all.
- 15:39I think Heather loves to do that. I remember at the at Bravocan
- 15:43when we had the panel, she went and sat on Tarma's lap during that
- 15:46too. She loves to get on a lap. She's a lap dancer,
- 15:50she's a lap she's a laphouse wife. I don't know, Well, she
- 15:54seems so confident in her skin, like she just seems real confident. Oh
- 16:00yeah, I don't know how else to put it, Like she's just comfortable
- 16:03in her own skin and should be. And so I don't know, like
- 16:07it would I don't know who I would ever do that to in my life,
- 16:10like sit on their lap, and you can do it to me,
- 16:11you can do to me you maybe if you were alone and like not having
- 16:17an intense conversation with somebody but can't you like see Jamie doing something like that?
- 16:22Though actually yes, I was like, who would do that? Jamie
- 16:26would do it and we'd be like, oh, she's so charming, you
- 16:29know what I mean. So it's so Jamie, which is also like the
- 16:32thing. You know, it's interesting because Heather does do stuff like that.
- 16:36She's always done stuff like that on brand for Heather too, and so why
- 16:38do we criticize Shenan and like and friendships over it? But with Heather we're
- 16:44just like, that's Heather. I know, right? Is it just because
- 16:47I don't know if it's the time and the place. But yeah, Emily
- 16:49had she could tell Heather had an issue. I'm sorry you could tell that
- 16:53Emily was annoyed at Heather, and Heather was picking up on that. She's
- 16:56like, can I ask a question? I can tell you're mad, but
- 17:00let me just ask it. But yeah, she really liked her, wanted
- 17:03to get in there. And also, I know we're jumping around, but
- 17:06I love it, but I love Emily. Emily was so great in this
- 17:10episode, and she is just up to bat right. She's just like,
- 17:12let me help here, let me do this. And typically we can get
- 17:17annoyed with some of those premeditated moves to try to get two people back together
- 17:22again or try to stir the pod or provoke something. But her I think
- 17:26her motivation was in a good place to try to get Shannon and Tarma back
- 17:32together. And I think that she was asking all the right questions. And
- 17:33I really liked that she didn't really go berserk when Tarma threatened her to hurt
- 17:41her, because that was I know a lot. I know. Emily was
- 17:45such the voice of reason in this episode, and that is a sight that
- 17:51is that is something that I would normally not say about her. Wow.
- 17:55I you say she's had growth, Katie, I would wow, I would.
- 18:00I mean, judging just on this episode alone, I was like,
- 18:03Oh, I want to hang out with Emily likes real cool. She does
- 18:07seem real cool. She does. She's that Joe really. I also loved
- 18:17in that scene, by the way, how they had subtitles of what was
- 18:21going on, like what the side conversations were, like saying, she's just
- 18:23rude, she's just always rude, that she always she's always doing stuff like
- 18:26that. She interrupted you when you were telling a story about your son,
- 18:30Like it was so because I think that if if those were subtitles weren't there,
- 18:33I wouldn't have picked up on it, like I would have had to
- 18:36rewind it and like pump up the volume a lot. So I was grateful
- 18:38to hear that side conversation was going on. And I love that they signed
- 18:44off on that too, that Jen was like, yeah, I do.
- 18:45And and of course we get Taylor because it's the first time Taylor has entered
- 18:49the scene and she's like, yeah, you can't. That's terrible, you
- 18:52know. She just was so she's so team camera and I'm so here for
- 18:56it already that that's the that's just happening right now to see what I have
- 19:00to tell us. It's so messy and Tamra coming back full force with this
- 19:07and just putting all her chips in on Shannon, and this fight is probably
- 19:12the best way to go, I suppose if you were to look at it
- 19:15from Housewives moves, I mean, she had she was genuinely hurt by Shannon.
- 19:21This situation, Katie, to me, is so sad actually because like,
- 19:26yeah, like it really did affect me in the sense that I thought
- 19:29you guys didn't fucking talk for two years. This is ridiculous. Over this
- 19:34like, and I thought, to be honest with you, I thought they're
- 19:38planning something behind our backs. They're gonna they're playing the long game to get
- 19:41Tamra back on the show. They're gonna start this feud the second Tamera was
- 19:47put on pause, and they're gonna ride it out until Tamra comes back and
- 19:51pick up that storyline. But I I don't know either the best actresses in
- 19:56the world and in the history of reality television, or they are both so
- 20:00petty that they could not get their shit together and come back together and make
- 20:07up after Tamra left. Like I can't believe it. I'm disappointed in both
- 20:11of them. I know. It's it's really tough that I feel like situations
- 20:15like this, you want to forget that they're actually real people and that this
- 20:21isn't a scripted show, because it is heartbreaking. Like I remember those those
- 20:26seven years of friendship where it's like, oh, they had like a real
- 20:30sweet thing going on. And also I do remember thinking, a dang Tamera
- 20:37is real available, real available? Oh yes, And were you thinking,
- 20:44oh, she's gonna cash in? Why do I keep making gambling references?
- 20:48You're gonna cash in those ships later? I guess. I guess like I'm
- 20:52I'm not. I hope I'm not a high maintenance friend, and I don't.
- 20:59You're not I'm your friend. I well, thank you. I don't
- 21:02think I am either, and I don't want to be. And I don't
- 21:03really I don't have a lot of friends who are very high maintenance. Shannon
- 21:08is high maintenance, and she she just as a person, she is and
- 21:14and that's not a slam of her, it's just it's just I think her
- 21:17personality, she just demands a lot of attention and she demands I mean it,
- 21:22and it's it is also the unawareness, and it's kind of like one
- 21:25of those things where well, you're either going to accept that about Shannon or
- 21:30you're not, or you're just gonna be pissed off all the time. And
- 21:33so I thought, like with Tamara, it's like you saw that for years
- 21:37of like and I remember Tamara mentioning it in previous seasons of like, yes,
- 21:42oh Shannon's calling, it's three in the morning, or you know,
- 21:45like I may I might be exaggerating a little bit, but like it was
- 21:48like constant phone calls. Tamar kind of would make jokes about it or kind
- 21:52of like you're a Shannon again, and like you thought that she liked it.
- 21:56Yes, you thought that, like because I know that there are people
- 21:57who like really thrive off of that, like ooh I am needed, I
- 22:02am needed right now and I and this is a way that I can help
- 22:07my worth and help my self esteem is by being a really available friend when
- 22:11somebody's in niece. So like, I get that. So I guess that's
- 22:14what I always assumed, is like, Oh, Tamra's just really that kind
- 22:18of friend who right likes that, who likes being needed. And Shannon really
- 22:25needs somebody right now, and she was going through it with David for such
- 22:29a long time that that was a big deal, so she really did need
- 22:32somebody who she can trust. Yeah, And Tamara had been through something like
- 22:36that before, so you kind of think like, oh, this seems like
- 22:38a good match. And Tamra is being sincere and Shannon needs her, and
- 22:44they love each other and they have like I love that line that Tamar had
- 22:48about Shannon of like there's no one I ever laughed harder with, which I
- 22:51think is so true. Like I remember those moments too, of them really
- 22:55like just giggling and laughing at each other and having so much fun together.
- 22:59So it's like there were all sides of this wonderful friendship that seemed to I
- 23:03mean work. I think we're going to learn about it more throughout the season,
- 23:07but it just seemed to very abruptly stopped, Oh my gosh, abruptly.
- 23:11But you know, Emily did say in her confessional, which was a
- 23:14good point. You know, you were enabling her, So if you had
- 23:17a problem with that, then maybe you should have said something. But I
- 23:19also see it from the perspective of Tarma thinking like, well, I'm sure
- 23:23at some point when I need Shannon, she'll be there because surely she knows
- 23:27that I've been there for her, So why wouldn't she drop everything and be
- 23:30there for me constantly? You know, when Shannon said, I did reach
- 23:36out, I was there for you, I called you, I did check
- 23:38on you, and Tama's like, not enough, Okay, I give you
- 23:41twice. You touched me twice, but I'm still passed. And it's like,
- 23:45well, I think what Tarma was expecting was that for Shannon to be
- 23:49there, you know, not twice, but seven times in one day,
- 23:53three in the morning, like she was for Shannon, and I completely understand
- 23:59that. You know, it's a shock to the system. Tama went through
- 24:02something where she was put on pause, where she was fired as fired from
- 24:06Orange County, and now Shannon isn't necessarily there for her twenty four to seven.
- 24:11Well, Shannon also has a lot of her own issues and problems going
- 24:15on. She's got all these kids, she's got this relationship with handsome John
- 24:19Jansen that is apparently not going so well at this point. Now we know,
- 24:25you know, they've since broken up, but you know, Tama was
- 24:27so hurt and oh my god, you do not want to get on her
- 24:30bad side because she will go for the jugular and within probably forty eight hours
- 24:34of Shannon not getting back. This is this is what I want to know,
- 24:38Katie. What is the timeline because it seems like Tamra gave Shannon maybe
- 24:45three days to get to the point of where she felt like Shannon was meeting
- 24:52her friendship needs and she didn't make She didn't make the cut, and so
- 24:56she went to the well, she went to social media and was like fake
- 24:59friends, this and that and the other. Right, So Shannon did not
- 25:04Shannon messed up. Shannon should have been there more for her. However,
- 25:08Tamra woof to go on social media and then say all these things like she's
- 25:15a drunk. Yeah, you know, that's where things get so dirty and
- 25:21where Shannon has such a great point about, like you don't know how hurtful
- 25:25you can be, because how do you come back from that? Now you've
- 25:29slammed me in public when okay, so he wasn't there for you, you
- 25:33know, twenty four to seven, but you could have given me a heads
- 25:37up before you took to social media, right, and not took to social
- 25:41media once but several times and on different interviews and blog Yeah exactly. Yeah,
- 25:48It's like this was not like yeah it was. It wasn't just like
- 25:52a oopsie doopsy. It was repeated slamming her, and I think, you
- 25:57know it's Tamara is someone who I've always had a place in my heart for
- 26:02camera. I just I just love that La honestly Shannon too, But I
- 26:07feel like the camera she is so reactionary, the most reactionary of like,
- 26:15if you f with her, if you don't return her text in three days
- 26:19or you know, whatever demand she's putting on it, she is going to
- 26:22hurt you. Like, oh, my gosh. When she said that on
- 26:32the boat, I'm like, classic, Yeah, it's my opinion, doth
- 26:38wrong. Yeah. I just had to brace myself that she was so drunk
- 26:45on the boat. She was so drunk, and you you kind of like
- 26:49want to watch that scene and be like, oh, okay, just make
- 26:52up you guys, because she was so drunk. And but then it's like,
- 26:56no, but she's not so drunk when she's on social media and when
- 27:00she's on these posts different platforms slaming her, it's like, she's so hurt,
- 27:06and yes, she's acting this way, but like, Katie, can
- 27:11we please do a spinoff podcast called She's So Hurt and She's drunk? Yes,
- 27:18yes, but she is that poor lady, Like you just see the
- 27:22pain in her. I agree, yes, And you're asking the most unaware
- 27:26person on the planet to also see that pain where all she can see is
- 27:30like, well, you talked about me on social media, you talked about
- 27:33me on this podcast or whatever. It's like she's talking it. Really.
- 27:41I think I love the really really, it was such a great scene and
- 27:49they're all in pink, and I mean the flamingle, the Flamingo party.
- 27:55I also love that these ladies are not afraid to look up a definition.
- 27:59We found out what flamingo means in the Urban Dictionary from Heather, which is
- 28:03a hysterical definition, which is when you're at a party and you're awkward and
- 28:07you're awkwardly standing on one leg. I thought that was such a brilliant,
- 28:11like, it's a brilliant definition for that term. It made me loud.
- 28:15I know, I know, he do. I guess it's the earnestness too.
- 28:21Of like I looked up on more of a dictionary and there's no like
- 28:25embarrassment of like how weird that is, and that definition was pretty great,
- 28:30but just there's no there's there's no shame, no shame. And then Shannon
- 28:36looks up. She's like, she said that I ghosted her. And I
- 28:38looked, I looked at the definition and I said, Siri, uh,
- 28:44what is the definition of ghosting? And and Siri said, it's when you
- 28:48cut someone out of your life and and I I, I didn't do that,
- 28:56which, you know, here's the thing, Tamra went. She took
- 29:00the social media with that meme that was like friends don't do fake friends and
- 29:03fake friends and gusting and whatever the fucking said and that was a real temperature
- 29:10check. She you know, she put her toe in the water. She
- 29:14kind of threw a little something out there to say, Hey, Shannon,
- 29:17I'm coming for you. This is a generic meme that is meant for you,
- 29:22and if you don't respond to this, I will take it to the
- 29:25next level. And Tamra's point being like, well, you should have called
- 29:30me and been like, what does this mean? How did I hurt you?
- 29:32And She's right, I mean, if you see somebody, if she's
- 29:34going to do that, you know Tamar well enough, she'll go to the
- 29:37next level. So Shannon should have at that point tried to call her and
- 29:41be like, hold on, let's snip this in the bud before things explode.
- 29:47And then they did, and the next thing you know, she's all
- 29:48over everything calling she hadn't a drunk, And that is really tough because she
- 29:52does say in that sit down when they meet for the first time, and
- 29:57Tamra says, I remember David saying he wanted you to stop drinking, and
- 30:03then Shannon saying, well, this is actually one of the greatest moments in
- 30:06reality history because Shannon goes, you're you're crossing in line. I'll have a
- 30:11Belvidere soda and a couple of lines. I was like, You've got to
- 30:18be kidding me. This is the greatest scene I've ever seen. But all
- 30:23this stuff, yeah, it was just that you're I just keep going back
- 30:27to the thing of like you are you meaning Tamara are asking somebody who is
- 30:33classically unaware, classically unaware to become aware, and that is not who Shannon
- 30:41is, and that is not who Shannon has ever shown herself to be.
- 30:45Yes, Shannon has moments of being a good friend, for sure. She
- 30:48has moments of being super super, super fun and light and she died like
- 30:52she does reach out. Like it's not that she's like this, you know,
- 30:56terrible person or anything like that, but it's just like Tamara is asking
- 31:00Shannon to do something that Shannon is never going to do because that's not her
- 31:03personality and that's not who she is. She's not, Yes, she's not
- 31:07going to organically reach out and be concerned. She but but Tara, I
- 31:11think is a really good communicator where she can say I need you right now,
- 31:15I need you, and she probably did say that, And I think
- 31:18there's probably also something too Shannon withholding a little bit of I don't want to
- 31:25say comfort, but a little bit of that open door policy with them because
- 31:29of contracts and Shannon re signing for the show and maybe not wanting to divulge
- 31:34whether or not she's coming back or Vicky's coming back. I mean, there
- 31:37also could be something behind this fourth wall that we're not seeing that's about the
- 31:42show. Why Shannon didn't talk to her, which yeah, is bullshit,
- 31:47Which is bullshit because she should talk to her anyway. But maybe Shannon didn't
- 31:52realize, well, no, maybe she didn't realize. Of course, she
- 31:55didn't realize. She didn't realize how badly Tarman needed her. I mean,
- 31:57think about it, like if roles were reversed and Shannon was fired, Shannon
- 32:04would be blowing up Tamra constantly. Oh my gosh, a hundred percent.
- 32:09I never thought about that, And that is such a good point, and
- 32:14like that, I guess that's maybe kind of the elephant in the room of
- 32:16like when do when a housewife And we've seen it, you know, in
- 32:21different franchises, but like when a housewife stops being a housewife but the show
- 32:25continues without her and her you know, bestie is still involved in the show,
- 32:31Like where does that friendship go? It gets awkward, that's to be
- 32:37expected. But you can't dip out. You can't, you can't out of
- 32:39the friendship. Yeah, Shannon dipped out and went to bed. You cannot
- 32:46dip out. And Shannon dipped out, she did, But I like Shannon.
- 32:51I feel like I'm talking trash about Shanna. I know, and you
- 32:52know, Oh my god, I'm obsessed. We love we love Shannon,
- 32:55we love Shannon. And also we'll say this, Shannon probably did each out,
- 33:00but maybe not, but not enough. And then let's also we don't
- 33:05need to cover our asses. But let's also say Tamar should have never gone
- 33:07that low, because that's also not friendship. To drag, to throw your
- 33:10friend under the bus, call her a fake friend and say that she's a
- 33:15drunk. That's so dirty. That's dirty, it's so dirty. And it's
- 33:20also though, like what Tamar does, that is what she does, That
- 33:27is who she is, and that's what she does. Is like you hurt
- 33:30me, I'm gonna hurt you a thousand times worse. Yes, and that's
- 33:32what alcohol. Yes, Like I'm going to cut you deeper than you ever
- 33:38thought was I was capable of. Yeah, it's almost like a Marlowe.
- 33:43It's almost like a Marlowe situation. It is. It's just it's like,
- 33:47you hurt me, I will hurt you worse. And Tamara does that better
- 33:52better than anyone. I mean, she really, she really can play that
- 33:57car. And to her credit, it's because she's probably so loyal that she
- 34:01expects that loyalty back and she should, you know. But if you fuck
- 34:07with her, she's gonna she's done with you. You know, you gotta
- 34:10come correct. And that's it just was really sad because they both hurt each
- 34:14other in the worst possible way. Shannon hurt Tamra in the worst possible way
- 34:17by not being there for her when Tamra has been there for her, and
- 34:22then Tamra hurt Shannon the worst possible way by calling out a lot of her
- 34:27you know, Achilles heels, because you know, there's been a lot of
- 34:30rumors about this. Now hold on a second, let me in this moment,
- 34:32cut to oh my god, I didn't even mean to say that,
- 34:35but cut to cut fitness closing. So Eddie said the wildest thing in this
- 34:44scene, and I need you to help me figure out what he even meant.
- 34:47So they're talking about they're closing the doors of Cut Fitness and this is
- 34:52a really, you know, a momentous closing because they've been around for ten
- 34:55years. And we got a montage of Tamra training for the fitness competition that
- 35:00she won and that was very cool and Derma accepting that that part of her
- 35:06life is over now and it's hard. And now Eddie says in the scene
- 35:09with them, he's on that ladder and he's, you know, taking down
- 35:13that Cut Fitness sign and he says, the only good thing out of the
- 35:16relationship was David. And I don't even know how he lasted so long.
- 35:22She drinks way too much. Did he actually say that? Did I hear
- 35:25that? I wrote that? Yeah. I wrote it down and I rewinded
- 35:30it, and I googled David to make sure that I understood, like to
- 35:34make sure that I wasn't crazy, right, because I like, ooh oh,
- 35:39I feel like David. Oh my gosh. I feel bad saying this,
- 35:44but I'm just gonna say it. I feel like David is one of
- 35:46the most unlikable housewife husbands in the history of housewife husbands. I think a
- 35:52lot of people would probably agree with you. I agree. I agree.
- 35:57And I never got any hint during the David years when they were you know
- 36:07that that when they when he was on camera o Shannon like ghost when they
- 36:09were still married, that like, oh yeah, him and Eddie are real
- 36:13tight and they seem to have a great time to get her in, Like
- 36:15not a clue. And I've never heard anybody be like, wow, like
- 36:21David and Sheannon, we're a real great couple. And she let that guy
- 36:24go, Like I think that they were so And I feel bad for saying
- 36:29that about David. That's so mean. He's a person. But it's not
- 36:31like there's a lot of a toxic, toxic relationship. It was extremely toxic.
- 36:37Yeah, they grew out of their relationship tremendously bad, Like it was
- 36:43horrible. Yeah, so I was what is he talking about? The only
- 36:47good thing? I don't I can't. I keep rereading this. The only
- 36:52good thing out of the relationship was David And I don't even know how he
- 36:55lasted so long. She drinks way too much? What seen did we not
- 37:00see? What was cut? What conversations did they have that we weren't privy
- 37:06to? Like, I just never remember a hint of like them being great
- 37:13friends or them having a great time together. Yeah, show me a montage
- 37:16of David and Eddie. Show me one montage that is consists of some laughs,
- 37:22Like how did that even exist? I so glad that you had the
- 37:27same visceral reaction to this line that I did, because it really, how
- 37:31are we not all just talking about this today? Yeah? Yeah, it
- 37:37really. It shook me to my core. It made me question everything about
- 37:40both wives, Like I'm not one to well, the show's done in the
- 37:44editing, like I mean whatever, I'm sure it is, but like they
- 37:46do put in the most interesting stuff. I'm sure otherwise going to be watchable
- 37:52TV. So it's like where, yeah, where was this? Or even
- 37:54when Eddie says that, like, show me some cutaways of like from five
- 37:59years ago, him and David having a drink or writing, or we're looking
- 38:04at each other or standing next together, Like I just have no memories of
- 38:09friends. I know. It's so strange and the fact that, like it
- 38:15really does seem like Eddie and the rest of the family are not for Shannon
- 38:21because they keep saying Tarama keeps saying, everybody says, don't pick up the
- 38:24phone, don't pick up that call to pick up that call, and I'm
- 38:27like, oh my god, that's terrible. Like, first of all,
- 38:30Shannon doesn't want to hear that. And again, to Emily's point, then
- 38:34create boundaries. You know, if you really do have such a problem with
- 38:38taking her calls and being there for her, you just need to start,
- 38:44you know, owning up to the fact that, like you can tell her
- 38:46I'm so sorry, you know, text her back, I'm so sorry.
- 38:50I can't take your call right now. I'm in the middle of a family
- 38:52dinner or a conversation. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
- 38:53Like, there's no reason that I think that Tarma needs to learn some
- 38:59boundaries her friendship and I think that Shannon needs to learn how to be a
- 39:04better friend. And it's almost like the Lindsay Hubbard thing on Summer House,
- 39:08you know, with Danielle and Lindsay. I don't think the dynamics are exactly
- 39:14the same, but for the sake of an example, I think Lindsay needs
- 39:17to figure out how to be a better friend to Danielle and how it to
- 39:21not just be so one sided. And to Shannon's credit, Tamra's life has
- 39:24been so stable and so drama free for so long that she really doesn't have
- 39:30any issues to be blowing up Shannon's phone at three in the morning. Whereas
- 39:34the opposite is Shannon has had the most tumultuous last seven years of her life
- 39:39with this divorce and the custody and this new wife and then the new baby
- 39:43and kids going away and her having to you know, make her own living
- 39:47with you know, her tinctures. It's she's had a lot going on,
- 39:52you know, so to her, you know, to defend her a little
- 39:55bit. She does need a good friend and she needs someone she can trust
- 39:59because she can't a housewife, can't just who's on TV, can't just go
- 40:01to anybody, you know. And Tamra's solid. It's very sad. They
- 40:05need to learn a lesson both of them. Both of them need to totally
- 40:08agreed to Tamra is. Tamra is somebody who likes drama and loves to be
- 40:15needed, and Shannon provided both of those things for her. And look inwards,
- 40:22sister, and there was a whole dependency there. But it worked.
- 40:25It worked, and I feel like, yeaso, wow, I'm wondering how
- 40:30much of this like anti Shannon stuff came out two years ago when Tamra's feelings
- 40:37were really her and I'm sure was consuming her family about how hurt Tamra was
- 40:42and they were like, you know, Mom, we never really thought Shannon
- 40:45was that greater friend to you anyway because of X y Z and Eddie chiming
- 40:47and like, I feel like, because Tamra seemed to get so much from
- 40:52the friendship, I wonder if there was much pushback from her family during the
- 40:57friendship. It probably can't. Probably a lot of that can after the friendship,
- 41:00And now Tamar's using that also to fuel like, ye see, you
- 41:04were a betfriend because my whole family knows that you were. But it's like,
- 41:07yeah, Tammer, but you were probably really her and really complaining a
- 41:10lot about right, and it was probably wanting to be like yeah, you're
- 41:15right, Like yeah, it was you were. She was a really consuming
- 41:19friend and you were really there for her. Like so it's like and yes,
- 41:22that's what Tammer wants to hear. So that's what she's gonna that's what
- 41:23she can lean into. Right. Whereas Tamara loves to talk on long conversations
- 41:30with Shannon, I'm sure about everything and she needs that, like that was
- 41:32feeding part of like you're saying, is feeding part of what she wants,
- 41:36and so I think that Tamra needs to take some ownership with that too.
- 41:39You know, it's just really not black and white. I think there are
- 41:43a lot of gray areas and there's definitely some hurt here. I love that
- 41:45Emily was able to keep her head about her and still continue to like navigate
- 41:52the situation on that drunk boat. That was so funny. I know,
- 41:55Emily was awesome. Emily was just awesome in this whole episode, and especially
- 42:00on the boat. I feel like, you know, I wished it.
- 42:02Yeah. Also, does everybody know this thing about Flamingo's except for me?
- 42:08I knew that, but only because and I was not surprised. Well,
- 42:12okay, so I did know that, and the reason why is because of
- 42:15Mattie and like just a lot of the animal trivia and things like that and
- 42:21the questions that they ask and at some point I'm sure I just learned it
- 42:24within the last like five years. So yes, okay. Well, side
- 42:28note, listeners, I do remember Maddy having a Flamingo Themes birthday party which
- 42:32was one year old. Maybe you know a lot more about flamingos than the
- 42:37katie. You're right, I did. She had a flamingo first, and
- 42:40we all stood around awkwardly on our one leg. We were flaming flamingling.
- 42:45But yes, that's probably where I learned it, absolutely, But I did
- 42:50love that Emily was eating shrimp off of the platter, just straight up,
- 42:53and Jen was like, can I have one of your shrimps? I know
- 42:57it's so awesome. But anyway, you were going to say something about Emily,
- 43:00you remember I cut you off. Oh yes, so you know.
- 43:04Oh no, I was thinking what I wish that could happen is Jen hosts
- 43:07another yoga class slash retreat, okay retreat, Yeah yeah, yeah, I
- 43:15keep going and yoga retreat. It was an hour and yeah you have some
- 43:20snacks afterwards, like but either way, like I would have loved to have
- 43:23been a part of it. It looked really awesome, and I want that
- 43:27to happen again. And I want them to not serve alcohol afterwards and just
- 43:30have like some you know, water and some sremonade, and I want them
- 43:37to be alone in a room and talk because I feel like that could maybe
- 43:42lead to some real understanding. But I feel like when you when you're on
- 43:45a drunk boat with drunk friends and you're pissed off. Of course, like
- 43:51they both seem so flabbergasted, but at the end of the episode, like
- 43:53I just don't I don't know how we could come to some sort of understand
- 43:58what we've both been drinking for hours and you're super angry because an understanding.
- 44:05In this episode, it was what we needed, though, like we wanted,
- 44:09I mean, deep down, we all know we wanted Tamra to kind
- 44:13of rip Shannon's face off. And I was very impressed by the way Shannon
- 44:17handled it. And I love that Emily called it out. She's like,
- 44:21Shannon's just sitting here like, you know, fine, and she's being completely
- 44:24normal and she wants the truth, you know. I love that she called
- 44:28that out, and and all Shannon was doing was like I don't know what
- 44:31I did wrong. I still didn't understand, you know. I mean,
- 44:35it was just it was it was great, Joe, Joe. And really
- 44:42because of that is the whole reason why Tarma ripped her face off, because
- 44:45she's like, this is what you do all the time. And I love
- 44:46that Shannon's, like I said, I was like, wait a minute,
- 44:51did you just say that this is what I do all the time at Jed's
- 44:57like now I see, now, I see what you feel talking shit clearly,
- 45:02Oh my god, forever, and Jeen's like looking for it, like,
- 45:07yeah, let's see the bad behavior in this person that you've been trashing
- 45:10for the last two years. Oh my gosh. It was great to see
- 45:16Taylor, it really was. I mean, and two ladies from Oklahoma.
- 45:22That's amazing. I mean, that is kind of funny, you know,
- 45:24because Jen's from Oklahoma and this whole thing is just wild, Like I don't
- 45:29I know, yeah, the odds. Yeah, it was cool to see
- 45:30Taylor there. She is, she's like. I loved also the way that
- 45:35Tamara was talking about her, like she seems I don't know, I hope
- 45:37that that Taylor's in a good place. I mean, she deserves to be.
- 45:40Yeah, Tamora said such positive things about her that I like, I
- 45:45really want to believe that that's true, that Taylor's in a good spot.
- 45:49Yeah, it seems like she does seem like she's in a good spot,
- 45:52and I would love for her to open up more and get to know Taylor.
- 45:58But one last thing, I do think it was funny well classic camera
- 46:02saying like fuck a duck, she can just fuck a duck, and then
- 46:07Emily going the duck has been fucked, okay, like like we have to
- 46:09move on. Yeah, I know, there's like that's not a saying.
- 46:14Nobody says that. It's like you're missing the point, right. She's like,
- 46:17I googled it on the Urban Dictionary. I said to Terry when his
- 46:21meniscus was healing, look up, fuck a duck. Oh my gosh,
- 46:25boor Terry. We haven't even touched on Terry. Terry's having a time.
- 46:35Oh Taylor, no, go ahead, go ahead, because I love I
- 46:37love another and was like he's really into fitness, like this injury injury is
- 46:45like she acted, I mean it's terrible, Like I feel bad for Terry.
- 46:47Of course, it's terrible injury to recover from Taylor being like I've been
- 46:52cast in a movie and I was hoping you could go with me and give
- 46:55me your honest opinion, Like have is going, uhh okay, sure did
- 47:06you catch Heather seeving? Heather seemed to me in that moment to be like
- 47:12no, well, I you know, okay, girl, you know we've
- 47:15been in this industry forever And how many times have you seen people that you
- 47:21know that have not one talented bone in their body get cast in something and
- 47:25you're like, are you fucking kidding me right now? Like I know you.
- 47:31Yeah. I feel like Heather just was like holding it in. I'm
- 47:36like, yeah, f off, like and then she went on this rampage
- 47:39about like I've been in several series regulars and several movies and cast it like
- 47:45yeah, she has a resume. And then her friend's like, I had
- 47:47cast in a movie. You want to go help me find an acting coach?
- 47:51Like it was you could just see like f off written I think she
- 47:54was. And also I think she was like f off to the producers because
- 47:58I don't think she got a heads up on that. I think she's like,
- 48:00yeah, so this is how you want us to connect. Well,
- 48:04this is news to me. Great, you know, Like I think that
- 48:07that was totally a surprise to her, which was You're right, her game
- 48:12phase was not there. She actually wasn't able to even hide that, and
- 48:15I think she almost was probably about to laugh, like really so and and
- 48:21to Heather's credit, like she is a great actress. I mean that's why
- 48:25she has so much as Angela says, Riz, you know she's got she's
- 48:31had such a successful career, like she seriously has. And and then it
- 48:36was funny in her confessional she was like, I don't miss it, just
- 48:38sometimes our stages are smaller than others. Oh my gosh, Heather, Oh
- 48:45my god, it's so funny. So did you love how much she is
- 48:50preparing for her kid's dorm room at college? Oh my god, these are
- 48:53the scenes that I love about The Housewives. It took me back to like
- 48:57the beginning of Housewives. Yes, I love that scene. I couldn't believe
- 49:01it. I feel like the amount of energy and time and money and money
- 49:09that dorm room is next level because it was like I remember going to college
- 49:14and being like, I get a new pair of sheets for my twin bed.
- 49:16That was about it. Oh my god, yes, a million percent.
- 49:22I was like, if I could only pray that I would be able
- 49:27to, you know, provide half of that stuff for Maddie, Like I
- 49:31love that she was like fairy lights. Oh and by the way, a
- 49:35microwave and a fridge combined. Wow, times have changed, and I'm very
- 49:39impressed. Yeah, talk about AI like that. Yeah, that's like high
- 49:44tech. I didn't even know that existed. I didn't either, but I
- 49:46was. And of course she's like, these are embroidered, not engraved,
- 49:51Nick, you need to know that before you go away. Unbelievable bamboo plates.
- 49:55Yeah. I was loving this because it does give me that sense of
- 50:00of home, you know, homeliness. I don't know the word I'm looking
- 50:04for, but it does give me the sense of it's a family. You're
- 50:06prepared, like this is relatable. You're getting your kids ready to go on
- 50:09to college and you want to do everything you can. Obviously, this is
- 50:13to the next level. That garage looks like a cost Co. I mean
- 50:17it was straight up had so many bins, the packing to everything, it
- 50:22was unbelievable. Two employees, it was employees were there. They had like
- 50:25shirts. Yeah, yeah, that is not the norm. That is yeah,
- 50:30no, whoever's watching, No, that is going to college. That
- 50:34is not the norm. Relatable in the sense that that's what your kids do.
- 50:37Not relatable that you can all provide that, but very entertaining. But
- 50:40this is what I want to see, you know, this is what I
- 50:44want to see out of our housewives. And that's why I did love this
- 50:46episode and we are getting some like a little bit of a teaser for next
- 50:52week where Shannon is in a crystal store and she's like a Gemstone store and
- 51:00Tamar college like, I'm so sorry, I feel so bad. So I'm
- 51:02excited to see if they, you know, for them to actually possibly move
- 51:07forward, because they needed, we needed this excitement for the show. I
- 51:10know, I want them to gotta want I want I want them to be
- 51:15back on track. I love those two two. I know. Well,
- 51:20any last thoughts, Katie before we wrap up our o C great episode.
- 51:24I mean, look, it was Tamar almost jumped overboard that that was too
- 51:29much, that was too much. But yeah, but yet she couldn't figure
- 51:32out how they're not coming to like a conclusion. Like I'm like, you're
- 51:37literally you're so drunk you're going to jump overboard on purpose. And You're like,
- 51:42I just don't know, I just don't know where we go from here.
- 51:44I'm like, you don't know where to go at all from here with
- 51:45anything in your life. You're about wanting to jump over a boat because you're
- 51:49so pissed off, right wasted, drunk and past, drunk and past.
- 51:53I love them. I do hope that they come together. That's what I
- 51:57want. I want them to come together. Yes, we do, we
- 51:59all want that. Katie Nonsen. Oh my god, this was so fun.
- 52:02I can't wait to talk to you again. We'll have to come back
- 52:06for Orange County, New York stuff. Yea. And everybody watch uh spend
- 52:12tuney on me TV and you'll see our dear darling, Katie Nonsen, and
