- 2:10Speaker 3: aka Lady Mary Jane of High Garden aka Bayla, this
- 2:14Speaker 3: Hurgarian princess. Just mind your business aka call me smoke
- 2:19Speaker 3: see because I'm trying to get chose aka. Don't be
- 2:23Speaker 3: fooled by the dragons that I got. I'm still I'm
- 2:25Speaker 3: still Adam from the block. That was cute. Wow, that
- 2:34Speaker 3: was super cute.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Oh my god, y'all are back with us talking about
- 2:41Speaker 2: House of the Dragon season two. We are now talking
- 2:43Speaker 2: about episode seven. For me, probably one of the funniest
- 2:47Speaker 2: episodes of House of Dragon I've ever watched for various reasons.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I call this episode an army of bastards for obvious
- 2:55Speaker 2: choices made. Then I mean and Porsche, I don't even
- 3:01Speaker 2: know where to start with all this shit. Like just
- 3:05Speaker 2: first of all, this is the second to last episode
- 3:06Speaker 2: of this season. It's only eight episodes this season, okay,
- 3:09Speaker 2: which is a departure from last time, which was ten episodes.
- 3:12Speaker 1: So I was already pissed about that.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I'm like, how they intend to do this and then
- 3:16Speaker 2: there's still obviously a lot more story to go, But how.
- 3:20Speaker 1: They're gonna wrap this up? I don't know where's we
- 3:24Speaker 1: go say something? Please help me.
- 3:27Speaker 4: We gotta start with Adam. We gotta start with you know,
- 3:30Speaker 4: Adam from the block. I got an interesting point to make,
- 3:37Speaker 4: and I think I want to ask Porsche about this
- 3:39Speaker 4: because I was reading this week about how people talk
- 3:42Speaker 4: about Agon has the biggest connection with this dragon. And
- 3:45Speaker 4: also that's another side story that Agon dragon sunfire Right
- 3:48Speaker 4: still might be alive, but they had like the best
- 3:52Speaker 4: connection of any you know, dragon writers. Is what it's
- 3:54Speaker 4: said in the books, I guess or whatever, But I
- 3:57Speaker 4: have to contend that Adam might have an even more
- 4:00Speaker 4: real connection with C. Smoke than any other of them,
- 4:03Speaker 4: because this negro don't even speak the language, and he
- 4:06Speaker 4: managed to get this dragon to fly around with him
- 4:09Speaker 4: and do whatever he got it over the dragon stone,
- 4:11Speaker 4: et cetera, et cetera. So I think Adam got the
- 4:14Speaker 4: biggest connection with the dragon right now.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I absolutely agree with you.
- 4:17Speaker 2: See, Smoke sought him out right, And not to say
- 4:21Speaker 2: that dragons don't do that, but I don't. I ain't
- 4:22Speaker 2: never heard of no dragon looking for the writer or
- 4:24Speaker 2: looking for somebody to bond with, right, And they kept
- 4:27Speaker 2: talking about massarian A. Few people were talking about how
- 4:30Speaker 2: se Smoke is lonely and all this other stuff, and
- 4:33Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, see, Smoke's the emo dragon, so you know,
- 4:36Speaker 2: for him to like want to find it gotta be
- 4:39Speaker 2: somebody colored as well, like it was important to him.
- 4:44Speaker 2: So I do I do think they have probably the
- 4:46Speaker 2: strongest connection, because there ain't no way because these dragons
- 4:50Speaker 2: will will light you up and spit you out in
- 4:53Speaker 2: a moment's notice, So for all of that to occur,
- 4:55Speaker 2: I do think that.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I think when it comes.
- 4:57Speaker 2: To agon and some fire, they have a very close relationship,
- 4:59Speaker 2: but I also feel like it's more like of a
- 5:02Speaker 2: chihuahuah owner type of situation, like some Fires. We kept
- 5:05Speaker 2: saying some Far is like a show dog. It's just like, oh, everything's.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Cute, he he he.
- 5:09Speaker 2: So you know, like like you know, and and they're
- 5:11Speaker 2: both they're both like little like immature kids Eggon and
- 5:14Speaker 2: some Fire, So it's just like I just see them
- 5:17Speaker 2: bonding over that, but like on some real shit, I
- 5:19Speaker 2: do think Adam Sisul may have a stronger connection.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Mm hmm agree.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I don't know if like maybe the strength is like
- 5:30Speaker 3: measured by like easiest dragon, like the best connection where
- 5:36Speaker 3: the dragon writer and the dragon actually communicate to each other.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It's not just one of them making the decision and
- 5:41Speaker 3: the other one being like, Okay, I guess we're doing
- 5:43Speaker 3: this now, Like it's kind of me, oh, you know,
- 5:45Speaker 3: like we're we're gonna go to the left. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 3: I want to go to left too. Okay, We're good
- 5:48Speaker 3: kind of thing. But I think maybe be the Sunfire connection.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I feel like Sunfire generally it's just like of the
- 5:56Speaker 3: dragons that we hear about. He is that was hatched
- 6:03Speaker 3: with Eggon, as was raynierest Dragon as was. I want
- 6:08Speaker 3: to say Damon's dragon too, Like those are the dragon
- 6:10Speaker 3: writers who's like they had the egg in their crib
- 6:13Speaker 3: and then hatched and then they grew up with the
- 6:16Speaker 3: dragon like dream Fire. Who is.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Who's reading fires? Is that Beila?
- 6:25Speaker 3: No? What is homegirl? Like I know her name, she's
- 6:28Speaker 3: h Helena's Helena's. Oh, Helena's dragon was actually someone else's
- 6:32Speaker 3: dragon before it was like she inherited Dreamfire right like
- 6:34Speaker 3: somebody else had, Like Beagar is a dragon that most
- 6:37Speaker 3: people had before it got to Emon, right, So like
- 6:40Speaker 3: depending on those relationships, like who grew up with the
- 6:42Speaker 3: dragon who kind of like that kind of like has
- 6:44Speaker 3: plays a tone. I think that Sea Smoke because Lynn
- 6:48Speaker 3: Lena before like Lenda relationships same relationship with Sea Smoke
- 6:54Speaker 3: that Rainiera has with Cyrx, like grew up egg in
- 6:59Speaker 3: the crib kind of thing, and so may have possibly
- 7:03Speaker 3: had a similar connection as those other people who grew
- 7:07Speaker 3: up with the dragon with the egg and they're capted.
- 7:10Speaker 3: But See and See Smoke. I think for me, See
- 7:12Speaker 3: Smoke just shows that of the like he's not like
- 7:17Speaker 3: bowing to like high Valerian commands to like decide who's
- 7:22Speaker 3: going to be his writer, like he's like he's very independent,
- 7:25Speaker 3: like all the dragons are, and he's like I have
- 7:28Speaker 3: agency and I'm gonna pick who I get.
- 7:29Speaker 4: To go with.
- 7:30Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, since Adam doesn't know High Valerian, like
- 7:34Speaker 3: that is a very strong kind of like thought, because
- 7:36Speaker 3: like Sea Smoke really did be like, hey, what's up,
- 7:38Speaker 3: and he was like, oh, oh you're scared. I'm sorry,
- 7:40Speaker 3: let me back off a little bit, like we're righting
- 7:42Speaker 3: though we're written. So they like they understand each other's
- 7:45Speaker 3: language in a way that like, I don't know that
- 7:48Speaker 3: we're gonna see happen again with other people who haven't
- 7:51Speaker 3: grown up with their dragons. So that's an interesting kind
- 7:54Speaker 3: of component of at all.
- 7:55Speaker 2: It's a unique relationship and it's something what you're talking about. Also,
- 8:00Speaker 2: Portions just alludes to like what Massaria had said to
- 8:03Speaker 2: the narrative episode, which was like everything's changed, like all
- 8:06Speaker 2: the you know, some of the old ways, the old traditions,
- 8:09Speaker 2: all this stuff, everything you thought is out the window.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Now you know your own brothers is your own half brothers,
- 8:15Speaker 2: your own pure blood brothers is against you right once
- 8:18Speaker 2: you down for the count. Whereas you have people coming
- 8:20Speaker 2: out the woodworks trying to you know, literally come out
- 8:23Speaker 2: of the woodworks with dragons trying to be on your side,
- 8:25Speaker 2: so like you just have to understand, like shit has changed.
- 8:28Speaker 1: And again just the.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Way I just I just was laughing in a good way.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I was just laughing this entire episode. Just how like
- 8:36Speaker 2: from the beginning the pull up were and near us
- 8:39Speaker 2: theod ten toes and was just like where you stay at?
- 8:44Speaker 1: Who your grandmama on them? Who are you? Where are
- 8:47Speaker 1: you at?
- 8:48Speaker 2: Like like that whole thing was, which I like because
- 8:51Speaker 2: it's like you can't just accept someone who comes in
- 8:54Speaker 2: on a dragon, right like.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Who is this where you come from? Can I trust you?
- 8:58Speaker 2: So I like that whole stare down and then the
- 9:00Speaker 2: fact that their dragons were just mirroring their feelings and
- 9:03Speaker 2: emotions and behaviors, you know, the whole stare down and
- 9:06Speaker 2: the whole like any minute now somebody gonna get popped
- 9:08Speaker 2: if you know someone make them wrong.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Move Like I like that. I thought that was that
- 9:12Speaker 1: was realistic.
- 9:13Speaker 2: If you will right and the hair comes Adam Adams
- 9:17Speaker 2: just like I'm just happy to be here. He's just
- 9:19Speaker 2: so thrilled to like his life is finally elevated. You know,
- 9:22Speaker 2: he's always wanted something more and now he finally got
- 9:25Speaker 2: it and all that to day, does he still not
- 9:29Speaker 2: know Corliss is his father?
- 9:32Speaker 3: He's just he was he was covering for Cortless.
- 9:35Speaker 4: He was.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I know Alan was, but Adam too, No, they both know.
- 9:42Speaker 4: They talked about it in the earlier episode. He Adam
- 9:45Speaker 4: talked about how Corlis never pays no mind because he
- 9:48Speaker 4: doesn't have white hair, but he knows he's his father,
- 9:51Speaker 4: but it's because he doesn't have white hair. The Corliss
- 9:53Speaker 4: has different him absolutely no love, even though he's given
- 9:56Speaker 4: Alan pretty much no love. It's just you know, lovels
- 9:59Speaker 4: to you get a.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Little bit of love, but no love.
- 10:05Speaker 4: The word good job. We after week he becomes weaker
- 10:11Speaker 4: and weaker, and it's the.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Deeper levels to like how crafty, Like you're like, okay,
- 10:15Speaker 3: so you're a bad grandfather, bad father, bad father, bad
- 10:21Speaker 3: lover to the queen, Like what's what are you loyal to?
- 10:25Speaker 4: What are you?
- 10:26Speaker 3: What do you actually care about?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Like yeah, Corlas ain't ship and so why does he
- 10:33Speaker 2: still not tell the counsel or anybody who they actually are?
- 10:37Speaker 1: Who Adam and Allen are?
- 10:38Speaker 2: They were like, you know the council is losing a
- 10:41Speaker 2: mind talking about the little born, this, the little Moore dad,
- 10:43Speaker 2: these niggas coming out everywhere, and and Corlas are just
- 10:45Speaker 2: sitting there like I guess so, like he's not like
- 10:49Speaker 2: owning up to anything, and why is that?
- 10:50Speaker 1: At this point, nice is dead?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Like what do you have to lose at this point,
- 10:54Speaker 2: I'm not understanding his motivation for not saying anything.
- 10:58Speaker 4: His motivation is a bitch, that's his motivation. His whole
- 11:04Speaker 4: motivation is based on being salt like you know, that's
- 11:08Speaker 4: all it is, you know, Like he just doesn't he
- 11:11Speaker 4: has no strength, he has no character. I've lost all these.
- 11:16Speaker 3: I just feel like why would he like I feel
- 11:19Speaker 3: like he such an idiot. But if he were to
- 11:23Speaker 3: admit what he what he's done, it would lose favor
- 11:30Speaker 3: in his eye of the eyes of the council and
- 11:33Speaker 3: him being the hands, like being rightful for the role
- 11:37Speaker 3: of hands, because he's supposed to be this like honorable
- 11:41Speaker 3: like house like person or whatever, like not from the
- 11:44Speaker 3: old Valeria like route. But still, you know, you know
- 11:48Speaker 3: what I mean, Like they try everyone who has Valia
- 11:51Speaker 3: has to hold themselves as if they're above the West Eirosi, and.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It's like, but this Holy in the Now act is stupid.
- 11:59Speaker 1: These are all men the end of.
- 12:00Speaker 2: The day and beyond last one of them got bastards
- 12:03Speaker 2: or be fucking around, so I don't understand.
- 12:05Speaker 4: And beyond that, this nigga barely got chose, like he
- 12:08Speaker 4: only became handed the king because there was nobody else from.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Right, you know, like at this point, who cares?
- 12:20Speaker 4: Right?
- 12:20Speaker 1: But that's my that's my picnicam, like who cares? Like who?
- 12:24Speaker 3: I feel like he's like it's kind of calculating in
- 12:27Speaker 3: a way because he wants to. He's like, I want
- 12:29Speaker 3: to see what happens when I don't say something. I
- 12:32Speaker 3: just won't see where this goes.
- 12:34Speaker 4: What a loser.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's behavior. I don't like that. I
- 12:38Speaker 1: don't mess with that.
- 12:39Speaker 3: But I love that Adam knew how to talk to
- 12:42Speaker 3: the queen when the queen stepped to him, like, I
- 12:45Speaker 3: love that. He was like, Yo, I'm in the God service.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I got chosen by God, yes to be here. I'm
- 12:51Speaker 3: just gonna move as the movement is telling me to move.
- 12:54Speaker 3: And I love that ring Here responded accordingly. She was like,
- 12:58Speaker 3: I did not think of this is not a possibility
- 13:01Speaker 3: that I ever thought of. Yeah, since she thought it
- 13:04Speaker 3: was impossible, like she see her kind of go to
- 13:06Speaker 3: like her younger You can see her younger self in
- 13:08Speaker 3: her for a second where she's just like like sometimes
- 13:11Speaker 3: like hope really takes us to our youth, where it's
- 13:13Speaker 3: like I did not hope after it, Sir Darkland, that
- 13:16Speaker 3: I could ever make this thing become a reality. And
- 13:18Speaker 3: now I'm like, wait a minute, I can have dragon
- 13:22Speaker 3: writers like it's a hope that she didn't even think
- 13:24Speaker 3: that she could hold anymore. And I love that whole
- 13:28Speaker 3: conversation and it's like a to me this and my
- 13:31Speaker 3: brain I call it like a dragon meat. And I
- 13:32Speaker 3: think it was also really important for us as the
- 13:35Speaker 3: audience to see because Lenor and Raniera are around the
- 13:40Speaker 3: same age that they're dragons around the same size, around
- 13:43Speaker 3: the same age too. So now we know kind of
- 13:45Speaker 3: like to scale when drag what Arnier's kind of like
- 13:49Speaker 3: guard dragon guard is gonna look like, because we know, like, okay,
- 13:53Speaker 3: see Smoke is about the same size as Cirrx, right,
- 13:56Speaker 3: we know that dream no no no, uh.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Silver Wings silver Wing and.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Vermathor are older and therefore bigger, but Silver wing is
- 14:08Speaker 3: smaller than verminthor so, like we know this scale of like, okay,
- 14:12Speaker 3: if we get these dragons up and running, what does
- 14:16Speaker 3: like ver nearest firepower look like against we know the
- 14:19Speaker 3: might of big.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Art absolutely right over there, absolutely And to what you
- 14:25Speaker 2: were saying, just about how you like how they talk
- 14:27Speaker 2: to each other and pulled up on each other. You know,
- 14:29Speaker 2: I do appreciate characters that just say what it is
- 14:32Speaker 2: up front, Like I hate in stories when like the
- 14:34Speaker 2: characters being like coy or shy or leaves important information
- 14:38Speaker 2: out and then the misunderstanding happens and then you go
- 14:41Speaker 2: through all this nonsense. I just like how Adam was
- 14:44Speaker 2: just like bra, this wasn't even my idea, Okay, I
- 14:47Speaker 2: just pulled up here, I am, I'm here for you.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And I also think it's interesting just that like throughout
- 14:54Speaker 2: the few episodes we keep seeing Ranera talking about blood
- 14:56Speaker 2: being too thin, or you know, whether or not the
- 14:59Speaker 2: person's real of targarian heritage and all the other stuff. Meanwhile,
- 15:02Speaker 2: all these peoples are like to me, like one person removed,
- 15:05Speaker 2: like they're close, like they're not descendants from you know,
- 15:08Speaker 2: ten generations ago. They're right there, you know, they they your.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Uncle's children or they just children and children.
- 15:14Speaker 2: So it's like the answer has been I mean it's
- 15:16Speaker 2: been very obvious too, but the answer has been in
- 15:18Speaker 2: front of us with all of these people, right. You
- 15:20Speaker 2: see it with your boy Bend, the Hugh, the Hammer,
- 15:24Speaker 2: the blacksmith. You saw it with And it's so funny
- 15:27Speaker 2: that we kept getting them confused. Oh the loud mouth,
- 15:31Speaker 2: you know, drunk like you see these obvious choices coming
- 15:34Speaker 2: in front of you, and then now it all comes
- 15:36Speaker 2: to the head where they actually are related and they
- 15:38Speaker 2: do have that true valerium magic, whatever you want.
- 15:41Speaker 1: To call it.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I gotta say, let's see a couple of things. One,
- 15:47Speaker 4: I just thought the whole fact that it does be
- 15:51Speaker 4: it ends up being Oodolph and the Hammer.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It's a it's all but who's who up and fro in?
- 16:00Speaker 4: Right? Okay, yeah, not off, that's terrible.
- 16:05Speaker 1: But his name is olf Olf.
- 16:07Speaker 4: And what's the blacksmith's name, Hammer Hammer? What a name?
- 16:13Speaker 4: Straight point star, that's black. That's just straight point star
- 16:18Speaker 4: name right there.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That's the name Hugh Hammer.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Points star name. But I just thought that it was
- 16:25Speaker 4: kind of silly that those two do end up being
- 16:27Speaker 4: the dragons. I wish they'd given us, like at least
- 16:29Speaker 4: one red hairing that we've been following the whole season.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Someone gets cooked at the end, and.
- 16:35Speaker 5: We're like, damn, you know, because it was like, oh, no,
- 16:38Speaker 5: we've been following these dudes the whole season, like.
- 16:40Speaker 4: We knew, yeah that was I needed one more character
- 16:44Speaker 4: who doesn't you know, make it through this Because I
- 16:46Speaker 4: thought for a second and Olf wasn't gonna make it.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Then I think, oh, that's cool, that bitch, nigga, you
- 16:50Speaker 4: have been talking too much anyway.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It would be nice because he was just like because
- 16:54Speaker 2: he even really he was just like, oh, I've been
- 16:55Speaker 2: talking ship this whole time, and now I got to
- 16:57Speaker 2: actually pull you know, show up, and I'm just like,
- 17:00Speaker 2: that've been great, And.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Yet you said I would I agree.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I would have liked a left turn, you know, like
- 17:05Speaker 2: being Messorry or somebody else random. Granted, that's just you know,
- 17:09Speaker 2: that's just that's just to the win at this point,
- 17:11Speaker 2: right like because there's no way, but it's just like
- 17:14Speaker 2: it would have been nice to not do something so and.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Not even like Missoria. I'm saying that they should have
- 17:19Speaker 4: had one more character. We've been following someone that's someone
- 17:26Speaker 4: who we've been introduced to this season. Didn't know, Yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 4: but we didn't know from before the season, and then
- 17:32Speaker 4: they've even following their story and then they get cooked.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Okay, well she's not small folk and she won't get
- 17:39Speaker 2: cooked hopefully.
- 17:40Speaker 1: But I was thinking Raina because remember we do see Raina.
- 17:42Speaker 2: She's still trying to get that dragon that's flying around
- 17:44Speaker 2: at the veil. Whoever she be even more, which is crazy,
- 17:50Speaker 2: but I'm just like, but that's what I said. I
- 17:56Speaker 2: was just like, that's the only other person. I was like, Okay,
- 17:58Speaker 2: I would like to see something happen to her because
- 17:59Speaker 2: like when she was fourteen, she tried this and failed,
- 18:02Speaker 2: and now she she's still one of this who whole
- 18:04Speaker 2: life and now she's like, you know, running after this.
- 18:07Speaker 4: This ghost dragon that we didn't get a resolution to
- 18:11Speaker 4: that storyline in this episode. Well in one way or another.
- 18:15Speaker 2: It's like, why did we see that again? Why did
- 18:17Speaker 2: we see the burnt sheep again? Like we've seen that already.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and then her reaction was kind of weird too.
- 18:23Speaker 4: It was like this like and you went there to
- 18:28Speaker 4: look for it, you knew what you.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Were this already.
- 18:31Speaker 2: I felt like we were going to see more than that.
- 18:33Speaker 2: It was just like, Okay, she's going she sees that
- 18:36Speaker 2: it's burnt cheap. Okay, she's gonna see the burnt sheep again.
- 18:39Speaker 2: It's just like, I now, what right?
- 18:41Speaker 4: And the way people pointed out that that dragon's name
- 18:44Speaker 4: is sheep stealer, And I also want to say to
- 18:46Speaker 4: the comments, we always do that, and it's great. I
- 18:48Speaker 4: love y'all, but like we're not reading the books. I'm
- 18:51Speaker 4: not reading anything ahead of time, so I wouldn't freaking
- 18:55Speaker 4: noticed dragon's name is sheep stealer. I mean I was
- 18:58Speaker 4: from sheep burner to wait, this nigga, But whatever you
- 19:01Speaker 4: know he needs, that's thank you. That's better than sheeps.
- 19:07Speaker 4: This man is like the dragon names. He is the
- 19:10Speaker 4: bottom of the you.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Know, George R. And Martin. But like even with the totyes,
- 19:14Speaker 3: you just started naming them after different muppets or like
- 19:17Speaker 3: from the street. Yeah, like Oscar Grover, Like that's that's
- 19:20Speaker 3: the whole toy line.
- 19:22Speaker 1: That really what it is.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I didn't realize, Oh my god, and I made like
- 19:26Speaker 2: I was calling young Oscar Oscar to Groucher, But wow,
- 19:29Speaker 2: that ass ship man, he was calling homage to a
- 19:43Speaker 2: cultural component of American life.
- 19:46Speaker 4: You write a million names, it don't matter. It's like
- 19:50Speaker 4: it's a million it's a name of a character. What
- 19:52Speaker 4: happens to the character for matter?
- 19:54Speaker 3: I mean, you're gonna it's fun to have a little
- 19:57Speaker 3: scheme in there.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And he pulled from fun place. I think it's funny.
- 20:02Speaker 6: How I detested the world and built the whole world
- 20:08Speaker 6: with difficult Next.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna say, before we moved to uh
- 20:20Speaker 3: off of the like then well into the small folk thing.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Mostly like the way that got bullied into doing what
- 20:28Speaker 3: he needed to do was hilarious to me. The tabent
- 20:31Speaker 3: sine felt so real, like it felt like an actual
- 20:34Speaker 3: conversation that would happen, Like, oh so you don't know, right,
- 20:39Speaker 3: they said, they got them calling for all the bastards
- 20:41Speaker 3: and you just number one bastard in King's London, right,
- 20:44Speaker 3: And he was like, uh, I'm actuously not sure. Oh
- 20:47Speaker 3: you got to be short because you had all these
- 20:49Speaker 3: free drinks.
- 20:51Speaker 4: That's the nigga who is sitting in the bar every
- 20:55Speaker 4: day talk about he could beat Jordan, and then Jordan
- 20:57Speaker 4: wats in the room and it's.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Like talk about you could be staving on hand. Game
- 21:03Speaker 2: time you could you ha comes Serena like.
- 21:06Speaker 4: On that that's the Atlantic episode where Nigga's like, I'm
- 21:08Speaker 4: gonna go race Michael bit, you know, and then got.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I did.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Back to what you were saying, Ben about it being
- 21:19Speaker 2: weird or or maybe not not upsetting, but being kind
- 21:22Speaker 2: of corny that they got the dragons, Like, I mean,
- 21:25Speaker 2: I'm a little less. I feel less about it being
- 21:27Speaker 2: corny about the Blacksmith, but it's really corny about oh
- 21:30Speaker 2: for me, because it's just like, you really don't deserve this,
- 21:33Speaker 2: and it's just like the most he stepped on the egg,
- 21:38Speaker 2: I thought it was when opened down, like he either
- 21:41Speaker 2: stepped on dragon ship or an egg.
- 21:42Speaker 1: And I'm like, bro, you killed another dragon.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I didn't see that there was an egg, but maybe
- 21:47Speaker 3: I wasn't looking to the little thing and I wasn't
- 21:52Speaker 3: sure what was happening.
- 21:53Speaker 4: I was like, but even the joll, you know, like a.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Little bit of like I don't know, but but if
- 22:06Speaker 2: it was a yolk, then it probably was in a
- 22:08Speaker 2: viable egg.
- 22:09Speaker 3: It's probably like either way, yeah, that his first step
- 22:14Speaker 3: in that chamber was in dragon dung, though it definitely.
- 22:17Speaker 4: Was okay, So that's dumb.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Okay, so he stepped and ship. I guess what it's
- 22:23Speaker 2: He don't deserve this ship, so and it's just like
- 22:26Speaker 2: out of anybody.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Could have finished you.
- 22:27Speaker 2: And then like it was funny seeing him flying over
- 22:30Speaker 2: King's landing because it's.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Just like it was just wild.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It was just like, here is the most left field
- 22:35Speaker 2: person you could think of, and he gets the fucking
- 22:37Speaker 2: joy ride over King's landing and do all this stuff
- 22:40Speaker 2: and his.
- 22:41Speaker 3: First ride on the dragon. But why would you fly
- 22:43Speaker 3: like there's something told him to?
- 22:45Speaker 4: Right? Yeah, that whole scene is ridiculous.
- 22:49Speaker 7: You know.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I get it for the avengerous symbol ending. Yeah, I
- 22:53Speaker 4: was sitting there cheering. I can't lie, But the lead
- 22:57Speaker 4: up to it is so utterly ridiculous because you said
- 23:01Speaker 4: that means near. I had to tell this nigga she
- 23:04Speaker 4: don't know from ship, go fly over there. Hope nothing
- 23:07Speaker 4: happens to you as come over here so we can
- 23:11Speaker 4: have this great shot of all of us lined up
- 23:14Speaker 4: like the castle in the background. Ridiculous.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Silper Wing is beautiful though.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I love so as a dragon design, like you know
- 23:22Speaker 2: how all the dragons have different looks and feels like
- 23:24Speaker 2: as a design component, like.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Is beautiful, beautiful dragon that.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Feel like you had the more like archetypal hero arc
- 23:42Speaker 2: where it's like, to me, it made like, yeah, it
- 23:44Speaker 2: was it was it was telegraph, but it made sense still, right.
- 23:47Speaker 2: You know, he's this alleged honorable guy who's just trying
- 23:50Speaker 2: to make the ends.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Me.
- 23:51Speaker 1: He's trying to keep his daughter alive, which rest in
- 23:53Speaker 1: p she passed.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Apparently my nearest food did not make it there in.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Time, like not you know, no, you know, he's trying
- 24:03Speaker 2: to uplift his household. His wife's like, I don't give
- 24:06Speaker 2: a shit about none of that. He's like, look, I'm trying,
- 24:07Speaker 2: and you know, and then he stands up right, and
- 24:11Speaker 2: when I say, like, first of all that that's what
- 24:13Speaker 2: the Dragons this season is the coldest things I've ever
- 24:16Speaker 2: seen when it comes to Game of Throws, the way
- 24:18Speaker 2: they've been doing, especially the scene with Burma Thoror Man
- 24:20Speaker 2: you want to you mentioned it. We got to talk
- 24:22Speaker 2: about that whole situation, the whole Jurassic Park, because there's
- 24:27Speaker 2: there was I guar I'm telling you if you put
- 24:30Speaker 2: shot for shot when Hugh was hiding behind that rock
- 24:33Speaker 2: with that lady, with that other bastard and you bring
- 24:36Speaker 2: in the shot of the original just park with a
- 24:38Speaker 2: little white girl when they were trying to make her
- 24:39Speaker 2: be quiet because the t Rex was there. It's like
- 24:42Speaker 2: almost bar for bar because when I say the way
- 24:44Speaker 2: like the camera was payning back and forth and Burma
- 24:47Speaker 2: Thor stalking them, and then it's just like you gotta
- 24:50Speaker 2: be quiet.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I don't say nothing like that ship was gold. I
- 24:52Speaker 1: loved it. I loved every moment of it.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Yeah, they were. I mean for me, there were so
- 24:57Speaker 4: many moments in that sequence were just so like Ranier
- 25:01Speaker 4: walking out and then turning her back on Ferma Thor, yeah,
- 25:06Speaker 4: just behind her like that's an album cover. The other
- 25:09Speaker 4: shot when she puts her hand out and you get
- 25:11Speaker 4: the side view of them both, it is just fucking incredible.
- 25:15Speaker 4: And then like, what were you saying?
- 25:17Speaker 3: How did you feel about the dragon Keepers being like
- 25:21Speaker 3: we're not here? And I felt that.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Like who cares?
- 25:30Speaker 5: Once again, I fully agree with them, and it's not
- 25:32Speaker 5: hears because look, like I say, the shot was dope
- 25:35Speaker 5: at the end. But what led Vanier to get to
- 25:39Speaker 5: that is gonna be yet another part of her downfall, yep,
- 25:42Speaker 5: because she is choosing Rando's who she doesn't really know
- 25:46Speaker 5: who are gonna have their own motivations and their own
- 25:48Speaker 5: allegiances When it really comes down to it, beyond that,
- 25:51Speaker 5: she ain't got the people who, you know, cultivate these
- 25:54Speaker 5: dragons who have been doing this for how many thousand centuries,
- 25:57Speaker 5: who are talking about the old magic of Valaria, you know,
- 25:59Speaker 5: they are like trying to save this shit, and you're
- 26:02Speaker 5: just using it on some like you know whatever, right right?
- 26:06Speaker 1: No so, And it's I agree with you? Is it
- 26:08Speaker 1: for me? It's both.
- 26:09Speaker 2: It's just like, in one way, it's kind of like
- 26:12Speaker 2: get with the times, nigga, Like you all, all you're
- 26:15Speaker 2: saying is valid and all of how you move makes sense.
- 26:18Speaker 2: At the same time, it's like, what the fuck else
- 26:19Speaker 2: are we supposed to do. We need writers, we need drags,
- 26:22Speaker 2: we need to show a force. So this is like
- 26:24Speaker 2: the lastest effort. And at the same time, it's like
- 26:26Speaker 2: you're sullying the traditions and the legends and all this
- 26:30Speaker 2: other stuff. And and really to your point, the fact
- 26:32Speaker 2: that you don't really know these people and now like
- 26:34Speaker 2: you're just trying to get them into the fold.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So it's it's for me, it's both. It's just like Damn.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I feel them like I feel them feeling like, fuck this,
- 26:43Speaker 2: We're not gonna be a part of it. And also
- 26:44Speaker 2: I'm just like, well, I don't know what else y'all
- 26:46Speaker 2: gonna do, because she she can't just sit here and
- 26:48Speaker 2: do nothing like she's just supposed to just.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Hope for the best like that. She has no moves.
- 26:54Speaker 2: She even talks to Jason about it. She has no
- 26:56Speaker 2: other moves. What the hell else she supposed to do?
- 26:58Speaker 4: That's what I keep getting tho. And that's why I
- 27:01Speaker 4: like why I get Robernier does the things she does.
- 27:05Speaker 4: But I feel like there's Messiah complex and it comes
- 27:08Speaker 4: out in Jason episode as well. Is leading to a
- 27:12Speaker 4: lot of fuckery, and it's going to lead to even
- 27:14Speaker 4: more fuckery because you are unleashing nuclear weapons upon the
- 27:18Speaker 4: world in order to and she says, oh, when we
- 27:21Speaker 4: show this up, they're gonna get a nigga. What. No,
- 27:23Speaker 4: that's not the Russia ever lay it down when Americans
- 27:27Speaker 4: started building up a New Year's stock. No, they found
- 27:29Speaker 4: a way just like you did. And we already know
- 27:32Speaker 4: that the Allison's other son is now dragging right in age,
- 27:37Speaker 4: so he's coming about, you know, Sunfire might still be
- 27:40Speaker 4: out there. We don't know even now that you've given
- 27:43Speaker 4: these dudes dragons, we don't know what their real allegiance
- 27:46Speaker 4: will be in the long run, what happens when they
- 27:48Speaker 4: get tested, you know what I mean, you don't know
- 27:51Speaker 4: any of this stuff, and so all of this to
- 27:53Speaker 4: gain the throne, it's like what it becomes the Fano situation.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Wasn't worth it? You know, it's how you're doing all
- 28:00Speaker 4: of this, But was it worth it? And That's what
- 28:02Speaker 4: I've been saying since the beginning of this, And that's
- 28:05Speaker 4: why like to me that there had to have been
- 28:08Speaker 4: another way, you know, some type of slick move, you know,
- 28:12Speaker 4: send the faceless man do something instead of you know,
- 28:16Speaker 4: unleashing dragons Afar Alison aim on everybody, get all them niggas.
- 28:22Speaker 4: I don't know, you know, like figure there's got like
- 28:25Speaker 4: you know, blow them niggas up in the set like
- 28:27Speaker 4: do other moves you know, done before. I just feel
- 28:33Speaker 4: like neer is like, you know, in cases even worse racist.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Let's talk about that man, well, you.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Think he's racist, that's hilarious cenophobia.
- 28:45Speaker 3: In this whole episode, those dragon keepers freaking like.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Racist like and not gonna make black because, first of all,
- 29:01Speaker 2: a lot of these small folks is white.
- 29:03Speaker 4: So I'm talking about Adam. He was talking about Adam
- 29:06Speaker 4: what he called that, he was about him, bro.
- 29:10Speaker 3: He was also talking about him.
- 29:11Speaker 2: So because the way that Vernier looked him in his
- 29:14Speaker 2: face when she's when he said mongo, she was she
- 29:16Speaker 2: was looking down. She looks up at his face when
- 29:18Speaker 2: he said she was like, yeah, I'm your So you
- 29:22Speaker 2: didn't say.
- 29:23Speaker 1: But Ja's issue, Jason's issue.
- 29:26Speaker 2: First of all, it's like, why is you mad this
- 29:28Speaker 2: apb on bastards was your idea?
- 29:30Speaker 1: Okay? But his issue was.
- 29:31Speaker 3: On bastards on the road.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I'm getting there, I'm getting here. But what it really
- 29:37Speaker 1: is is he said he wanted the people in business class,
- 29:39Speaker 1: not coach.
- 29:40Speaker 2: He didn't mean any bastards. He was cool when it
- 29:43Speaker 2: was high born bastards.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Okay, it was a bastards though they were people who
- 29:47Speaker 3: just had you know, like Layton, you know what I mean.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Like he was cool with that.
- 29:50Speaker 2: He wasn't the idea of getting anybody that could potentially
- 29:54Speaker 2: have the blood.
- 29:55Speaker 4: That's a big difference, and that's why it may matter
- 29:57Speaker 4: so much to Jakes, because Jason is a bad correct,
- 30:00Speaker 4: So because of that, he can't have another bastard ride
- 30:04Speaker 4: in the Dragon because then that makes him.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Irrelevant well in his and I'm going to say that
- 30:08Speaker 2: that it's too fold for him. It's just like, yeah,
- 30:10Speaker 2: it's a lot of embarrassment as well, because he knows
- 30:13Speaker 2: Harmine is his father. He knows that it's been a
- 30:15Speaker 2: big cover up his entire life. He know he has blood, right,
- 30:18Speaker 2: and a similar word you use than not.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Mongol, but it's similar to another way.
- 30:23Speaker 2: He's not special anymore, right, And he does when he
- 30:27Speaker 2: is talking about the other Bassards, he does call the
- 30:29Speaker 2: Mongols with a nest.
- 30:30Speaker 1: So you talk about multiple and.
- 30:32Speaker 2: He says these people as well, he knows he doesn't
- 30:34Speaker 2: these people's but it's it's it's definitely on a you
- 30:40Speaker 2: hate what you are type stuff, like you know, like
- 30:43Speaker 2: you know you are one of these, you know you're
- 30:45Speaker 2: not special, you know you you could potentially be in
- 30:47Speaker 2: the mix of all this. So he he's already upset
- 30:50Speaker 2: about all that, and that also could potentially create problems
- 30:53Speaker 2: for him, Like he even says, like even just on
- 30:55Speaker 2: some on some what's the word I'm looking for?
- 30:57Speaker 4: Logic?
- 30:57Speaker 1: Logics and logistic shit he says, well, what will stop.
- 31:01Speaker 2: One of these lowborns from coming up and saying that
- 31:03Speaker 2: they should inherit a throne?
- 31:04Speaker 1: Right, you know what I mean?
- 31:05Speaker 2: Nero, And he's just like, we're literally going through a
- 31:08Speaker 2: fucking war because of this bullshit about succession, and now
- 31:12Speaker 2: you're gonna put in the same problem again. You're gonna
- 31:15Speaker 2: engineer the same problem for the next generation. So when
- 31:17Speaker 2: he was like, when you died, what's gonna happen? How
- 31:20Speaker 2: who's to say that these lowborn might not pop up
- 31:22Speaker 2: and be like, well, fuck Jason.
- 31:24Speaker 1: You know he got black hair, I got white hair.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Big big porn star over here is already talking about
- 31:29Speaker 4: I would want for nothing again. He gonna leave his life,
- 31:33Speaker 4: he gonna find him with the sil he's gonna get
- 31:35Speaker 4: that silver haired woman who ran off, and he gonna,
- 31:37Speaker 4: you know, be like, all right, thrown's mind, Now I
- 31:39Speaker 4: got the biggest dragon.
- 31:40Speaker 1: What he did say that look watch out.
- 31:45Speaker 4: For Hugh Hammer boy he down out here.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and yes, it's not this like Jason's idea wasn't
- 31:51Speaker 2: exactly the same as what's happening now.
- 31:53Speaker 1: It's just.
- 31:55Speaker 2: It's kind of like it's just it just kind of
- 31:57Speaker 2: felt like a good idea that blows up in your
- 31:59Speaker 2: face like a b This is not what I meant.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Why does ja have to be a bit? She's he's
- 32:05Speaker 1: upset for his valeries.
- 32:07Speaker 4: No, I know, I know.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Just you know he was trashing for saying that, but he.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Was upset, Jess like a Mexican who vote for Trump Man.
- 32:17Speaker 4: I'm sorry, you know what I mean? Like Jays feels
- 32:20Speaker 4: like a full of self hate, you know.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Absolute self hate. Yeah, he was anti black. We we
- 32:26Speaker 1: know this.
- 32:26Speaker 2: It's like Nigga, you one of us, so relaxious, like
- 32:30Speaker 2: he's an anti strong yeah, quit strong, Like.
- 32:34Speaker 4: He's anti anything that ain't anti Targarian.
- 32:39Speaker 1: It's just like Nigga, you one of us.
- 32:42Speaker 4: You're down with the Tians. He just that's what I'm trying.
- 32:44Speaker 4: He's he's down with them. That's who he's like, I'm
- 32:47Speaker 4: tar Garian. You know, like he'll like he'll kill the
- 32:50Speaker 4: other ones to be like to prove it. You know
- 32:51Speaker 4: he was.
- 32:53Speaker 1: You think he's gonna defect.
- 32:54Speaker 4: No no, no, no no no. His mother but if
- 32:58Speaker 4: he could stab you hammer in the back, you would
- 33:01Speaker 4: right now.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Like I don't think Vermador will allow that.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I mean, that's the Vernon X is gonna get be
- 33:07Speaker 2: lunched that, you know, PUSHA. What are you thinking you
- 33:13Speaker 2: have in this this inquisitive look on your face.
- 33:16Speaker 3: M I just think, uh that it's I feel like
- 33:21Speaker 3: as soon as Rainiera said Army of Bastards, I knew,
- 33:26Speaker 3: I knew this episode was gonna be uh foreshadowing. That's
- 33:31Speaker 3: when that's gonna happen decades from now, and everything y'all
- 33:34Speaker 3: just said, layers. The reasons why it happens decades from
- 33:38Speaker 3: now happens, like I keep I think, I keep noting,
- 33:42Speaker 3: Like there's two big things that happened that took the
- 33:44Speaker 3: Targarian's dragons out of the running. When is what we're
- 33:47Speaker 3: seeing right now called the Dance of Dragons. And then
- 33:50Speaker 3: there's something that happens later and that's a whole bastard fight.
- 33:53Speaker 3: So this is like setting up what happens decades later.
- 33:58Speaker 1: So basically, Jason was right, is what you're telling me.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Jay's was like, and I'm like, I don't blame him,
- 34:04Speaker 2: like it was wrong, but you know you didn't have
- 34:06Speaker 2: to say that way, but you're not wrong, Like.
- 34:09Speaker 4: And also I have to say that I was right
- 34:11Speaker 4: again because the nearest plans are going to lead to
- 34:14Speaker 4: the destruction of her.
- 34:16Speaker 3: It wasn't okay, but this put it this way.
- 34:20Speaker 6: It is.
- 34:20Speaker 3: My thing about Rainier's moves is that she's moving exactly
- 34:25Speaker 3: the way that dragon lords move, like she's she's moving
- 34:30Speaker 3: exactly the way that she knows how to hold power
- 34:33Speaker 3: and like so it's like, it's like this whole episode
- 34:38Speaker 3: I kept mean, I think every episode I get being
- 34:40Speaker 3: reminded about the parenting skills of west Rows.
- 34:43Speaker 2: And because I was impressed. I was imprised in Hell
- 34:46Speaker 2: by Oscar Tolly.
- 34:48Speaker 3: I was impressed by how like he like, I'm like
- 34:51Speaker 3: his father might have been in a sick bed for
- 34:53Speaker 3: a while, but he knew how to run the river
- 34:57Speaker 3: run like the whole the whole river, like all the
- 35:00Speaker 3: river lords, all of them. He knew exactly what to do.
- 35:02Speaker 3: He knew what his strength and his weaknesses were. He
- 35:04Speaker 3: knew how to make it all like very impressive. That
- 35:07Speaker 3: is what a liege lord is supposed to be able
- 35:10Speaker 3: to do and pass on, Like if you're a high
- 35:12Speaker 3: born person, you're supposed to sure your kids know how
- 35:14Speaker 3: to run the crap if you're none around. And we
- 35:17Speaker 3: keep seeing the problem with the Targanians. Is that they
- 35:22Speaker 3: didn't prepare to none of them kids to really do
- 35:24Speaker 3: what they needed to do.
- 35:26Speaker 4: No, they prepare them to be people who hold a
- 35:29Speaker 4: nuclear bond and are willing to use it. That's what
- 35:31Speaker 4: they prepared them for.
- 35:33Speaker 1: They were them to be high born and not.
- 35:35Speaker 4: Necessarily get prepared him to deal with the small folk
- 35:40Speaker 4: or to get low you know, they don't care about
- 35:42Speaker 4: the low low born.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah, listen these low born. First of all, there were
- 35:47Speaker 2: so many of these niggas. There were so many and
- 35:51Speaker 2: alone anymore, but so many. And it's just like, oh,
- 35:56Speaker 2: I keep saying, like these are men at the end
- 35:57Speaker 2: of the day. They just fucking around and they so
- 36:00Speaker 2: in their seed all over the goddamn restauros. Like I
- 36:03Speaker 2: was not surprised when it was like fifty of them.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Pull up from kings Landing alone, from King's.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Landing, right, couldn't remember they was like yo probably and
- 36:10Speaker 2: dragon Stone itself in other places.
- 36:12Speaker 1: You know this mad at them, and you know, you
- 36:13Speaker 1: know folks like Johnstone.
- 36:17Speaker 4: Yes, that was the worst NBA draft of all.
- 36:19Speaker 2: That was the why did they send their fifth string
- 36:23Speaker 2: hunchback of Notre Dame first?
- 36:25Speaker 3: He was all stood up first, he's the one who was.
- 36:28Speaker 1: He liked out first, but why they allowed that shit, Like, bro, just.
- 36:30Speaker 3: Don't even But you never know what the dragons though,
- 36:34Speaker 3: You really don't. You really don't know what the dragon.
- 36:37Speaker 2: He looked scared like a motherfucker, but they painted I
- 36:39Speaker 2: was like fire picked off of all the people.
- 36:41Speaker 3: So you really just don't know what the dragons. You
- 36:44Speaker 3: just don't most Oh, my aside, is he the hammer
- 36:48Speaker 3: when he talks about his parentage and how his mother
- 36:52Speaker 3: was telling him how he was just as good as
- 36:57Speaker 3: the serious is her brother's kids.
- 37:00Speaker 1: That's Auntie Sarah's.
- 37:01Speaker 3: That is Auntie he is. That's his cousins is Damon
- 37:05Speaker 3: and Visara's correct, and just a little tea, a little
- 37:09Speaker 3: scoop about why his mother ended up having him illegitimately
- 37:15Speaker 3: and all this stuff or whatever. So basically she was
- 37:19Speaker 3: the wild child of like king Jaharis, who supposed to
- 37:22Speaker 3: be the wisest king west Ross has ever known, and
- 37:25Speaker 3: like his wife like so they speaking of Targerians not
- 37:28Speaker 3: being able not raising their children, well, basically that's what
- 37:31Speaker 3: happened with them. So they like raised the first two
- 37:34Speaker 3: kids to kind of be heirs, and then the rest
- 37:36Speaker 3: of them. They just kind of like, you're targarian, do
- 37:39Speaker 3: what you need to do.
- 37:40Speaker 1: So that daughter became a hole.
- 37:42Speaker 4: So she did, Okay, she did.
- 37:47Speaker 3: I think she's the youngest, she's the youngest. She's the
- 37:50Speaker 3: youngest kid, and she's the youngest daughter. So she was like,
- 37:52Speaker 3: there's nine of them, so she was everybody else is
- 37:55Speaker 3: older than her. She was over running around. She was
- 37:58Speaker 3: not she was running up. And so her mother tried
- 38:01Speaker 3: to like they had to reprimand her because like she
- 38:04Speaker 3: had a moment like Marjorie kind of like in Game
- 38:06Speaker 3: of Thrones where it's like, have you been having sex
- 38:10Speaker 3: with grow men that you know? We haven't betrothed you
- 38:13Speaker 3: to like you know that we gotta we tighten up.
- 38:16Speaker 3: So they try to. They put her in accept an
- 38:19Speaker 3: old town and was like, oh, you're gonna.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Put her in a convent with the nuns that you know,
- 38:23Speaker 2: you know, when you're a preacher's kid, you don't do that.
- 38:26Speaker 2: You don't do it. That's a recipe for the exact
- 38:28Speaker 2: opposite of what you want happening.
- 38:31Speaker 3: She lasted for about a year and a half. People
- 38:33Speaker 3: were like, they say, like, well, maybe they weren'ting to
- 38:35Speaker 3: let her say that forever. We don't know. What we
- 38:37Speaker 3: do know is homegirl bounced after a year and a
- 38:39Speaker 3: half over to Essos, ended up in lies in a
- 38:43Speaker 3: whorehouse wearing the garb of Acepta. And that's why people
- 38:48Speaker 3: would come to her because they were like they wanted
- 38:50Speaker 3: that was their kink?
- 38:51Speaker 4: Oh is that?
- 38:52Speaker 3: And also she they knew she was a like Hue
- 38:55Speaker 3: the Hammer said she had that white hairs targarian. So
- 38:58Speaker 3: it's not that she was like a bass stead of targarians.
- 39:01Speaker 3: She was legitly, like legitimately a targarian.
- 39:04Speaker 1: And just hoing it out for coin.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Right and her everybody just own her father just owned her.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Her mother wanted her back, but she never got any
- 39:12Speaker 3: replies her messages she sent to her. And then she
- 39:15Speaker 3: ended up owning her own place in Valantis. So that's
- 39:20Speaker 3: how she made her coin. When she was like, she
- 39:21Speaker 3: became the madam and she ended up taking over whatever
- 39:24Speaker 3: a different spot gotcha and.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Valantis the best little whorehouse in valanceis come on, I.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Mean this goes back to what I'm saying, like these
- 39:35Speaker 2: people have strong targarian types. They're not third fifth removed cousins.
- 39:39Speaker 2: These just like your cousin your first cousin.
- 39:42Speaker 4: On tem she said, I'm gonna be queen.
- 39:45Speaker 3: And she said that they were like whenever they were
- 39:48Speaker 3: having the tussle over who should be next in line,
- 39:50Speaker 3: whenever Vicius was kind of like pulled into being an
- 39:53Speaker 3: over pringiece, and they were like, why don't you come,
- 39:56Speaker 3: why don't you go back over and try to claim
- 39:58Speaker 3: the throne. And she was like, I'm already the queen
- 40:00Speaker 3: for here. Why would I go?
- 40:06Speaker 1: What's her name? Her name?
- 40:09Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 40:10Speaker 3: Her name is I want to say Sarah.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Yep.
- 40:19Speaker 3: I just like I just love that, like okay, yeah, yeah,
- 40:22Speaker 3: her name is Sarah Targerian Sarah okay. And her sex
- 40:26Speaker 3: scandal was at sixteen, so there was there was they
- 40:28Speaker 3: did not know what to do with her.
- 40:29Speaker 7: Sarah and Hamma Jesus the Lord six Jesus will have mercy, okay.
- 40:36Speaker 7: Uh So all of this, fifty of them, and we
- 40:42Speaker 7: already we all knew Korean barbecue was on, right, we
- 40:45Speaker 7: all knew that.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Was happening right soon. As first of all, for me,
- 40:48Speaker 1: when they walked in, I'm like, they look like candlesticks.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Dragons are so petty.
- 40:54Speaker 8: And then right and then the way was just toying
- 40:58Speaker 8: with them like all that bullshit Papa circumstance he was
- 41:02Speaker 8: doing for Rainier, you know, you know, everything looking cute
- 41:04Speaker 8: like and we were trying to like kind of being calm,
- 41:06Speaker 8: like okay, maybe we have.
- 41:07Speaker 1: A chance here. As soon as right they ever left,
- 41:10Speaker 1: vermon Thor was like, I.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Veranera knew she was cruel for that one, but also
- 41:17Speaker 3: with vermon Thor and the sound effects that they made
- 41:20Speaker 3: with vermit Thor, like whenever when he first came down,
- 41:24Speaker 3: like you like any the noises he was making, You're like, okay,
- 41:26Speaker 3: is he gonna like is he gonna be hostile to
- 41:28Speaker 3: Rainierer in front of all Like this is gonna be
- 41:30Speaker 3: like crazy because he's making the noises like he might
- 41:32Speaker 3: pull out some flame. And then he was like chilling
- 41:35Speaker 3: and she was like, oh old Valeri and it's me
- 41:38Speaker 3: we're here, and he's okay, all right, Oh I might
- 41:41Speaker 3: I might entertain this. I feel like he was entertained
- 41:43Speaker 3: by being brought so many possible.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Candles for his birthday cake half my birthday, vermit Thom.
- 41:56Speaker 3: He called him down and was like, hey, I need
- 41:58Speaker 3: you to like work with me, and he was like,
- 42:00Speaker 3: I'll work with you.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Because he brought me some snucks.
- 42:04Speaker 4: But it's also like he's a nigga. You didn't see
- 42:06Speaker 4: my song? Are my niggas? You know what I mean?
- 42:09Speaker 4: This is not how we do this.
- 42:12Speaker 1: That's not how we do that.
- 42:14Speaker 2: You gave me, You gave me, you know. Verma Doll
- 42:17Speaker 2: looked down and said, what is this ghetto ship that
- 42:19Speaker 2: you this ship was getto You said, you ain't say
- 42:23Speaker 2: my lamentations. You ain't throwing no rohit. Why Jarada.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Get to and and and they people pay for you
- 42:34Speaker 1: saw what he did to the other nigga, dark Lin
- 42:37Speaker 1: baked Potato.
- 42:39Speaker 3: But whenever, whenever, he so like Grenier is so cool
- 42:45Speaker 3: because homegirl, as soon as she was she's like, that's
- 42:47Speaker 3: she said, okay, because I already donecause the way she
- 42:50Speaker 3: said it was hilarious to me. She said, I have
- 42:56Speaker 3: nothing else to tell you. The dragon he speaks.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Given this speech basically about y'all finna.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Die, I got no tips for you, Good luck to you,
- 43:12Speaker 2: see you later.
- 43:13Speaker 4: But that's it. It wasn't like that at first. When
- 43:15Speaker 4: they're up there, she's like, we're gonna go see this dragon.
- 43:18Speaker 4: You know, what are you trying to get to ride it?
- 43:21Speaker 4: She gets down there. It's like y'all for.
- 43:24Speaker 1: While she was up there, she was telling them, Oh,
- 43:26Speaker 1: you know, it's a noble cause. And she says, but
- 43:29Speaker 1: you know, come back from this. That was her last words,
- 43:32Speaker 1: and she said, now let's go see Verber.
- 43:34Speaker 2: Yo, Like, if someone gives me that speech and that
- 43:37Speaker 2: says you might not make it, now let's go see it.
- 43:40Speaker 1: It's just like, thank you for basically.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Telling me I'm about to be gone, like it's a
- 43:44Speaker 2: rap for me. It was clear as a rat for me.
- 43:46Speaker 2: And then what you said portion just remind me of
- 43:48Speaker 2: the other thing I wanted to mention about knowing it
- 43:51Speaker 2: this was cruel.
- 43:52Speaker 1: It's just like like she knew it was a long shote.
- 43:53Speaker 1: She knows it was the cruel.
- 43:54Speaker 2: You know how you always explain to us that when
- 43:56Speaker 2: the Masons tell the stories about what has happened, it
- 43:59Speaker 2: always differs and people got different opinions and bias and whatnot.
- 44:03Speaker 2: I can see this becoming a story about oh, we're
- 44:06Speaker 2: near her saying all the bastards and all the would
- 44:08Speaker 2: be challengers down there to get flamed.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Up, just so you did.
- 44:15Speaker 2: For the sole purpose though not because she was trying
- 44:18Speaker 2: to find a writer. I could see a Mason saying,
- 44:20Speaker 2: for the sole purpose of getting rid of all challenges,
- 44:23Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like they will say some
- 44:24Speaker 2: ship like that, like, yo, we're nearer the cruel. She
- 44:27Speaker 2: ran down there, She ran them down there and blew
- 44:29Speaker 2: them up, you know what I mean. Like I can't
- 44:30Speaker 2: see someone making.
- 44:31Speaker 4: That the story you can kill two birds with one stone, fair,
- 44:34Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Like, Jace, don't be mad.
- 44:38Speaker 1: She got rid of them for me. You can't be
- 44:41Speaker 1: mad Jase.
- 44:42Speaker 3: It's funny because he was noticeably absent, Like it was
- 44:45Speaker 3: right near and the other current Dragon writers. So it's
- 44:47Speaker 3: Beyla and Adam, and it was like, but Jase was
- 44:51Speaker 3: noticeably absent and crying yeah.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Over here drafting an angry manifesto about then like why
- 45:00Speaker 2: he's anyways, only damon, we're here. This never happened anyways,
- 45:11Speaker 2: so like so, but the I also like the for me,
- 45:14Speaker 2: like the.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Whole arrangement of it all, like the calling for the
- 45:19Speaker 3: people to come like Sneaki and stuff like that, like
- 45:22Speaker 3: and from King's landing and then like bringing them all
- 45:27Speaker 3: to one place, giving them that speech.
- 45:28Speaker 4: All that.
- 45:29Speaker 3: It felt very much like put yourself in a place
- 45:32Speaker 3: of like a like the beginning of a like fantasy
- 45:36Speaker 3: book where like the common person finds out that they're
- 45:40Speaker 3: going to be a dragon writer. Like, this feels like
- 45:42Speaker 3: a fantasy story, like if you're a main like you're
- 45:44Speaker 3: having your main character moment, you're getting chosen by a dragon.
- 45:48Speaker 1: It's all.
- 45:48Speaker 3: It feels like something something that you would feel like
- 45:50Speaker 3: you would see in any fantasy story. So they have
- 45:54Speaker 3: this queen suddenly talk to you like it's your first
- 45:57Speaker 3: time in a castle, your first time talking to nobility,
- 46:00Speaker 3: you probably, And then the queen talks to you about
- 46:02Speaker 3: writing a dragon. You're probably. They were probably all hype
- 46:05Speaker 3: and excited. And then they walk into the actual chamber
- 46:08Speaker 3: of the dragon and they she's interacting well with him,
- 46:13Speaker 3: so they think, maybe I have a chance.
- 46:17Speaker 1: She walked them into Jurassic Park. They it was a horror.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Every flame.
- 46:26Speaker 3: It was a fantasy origin story to horror movie so quick.
- 46:31Speaker 4: But it's also like it's Georgia R. Martin's typical thing
- 46:34Speaker 4: because it's like, imagine, you know, the pulling of EXCaliber,
- 46:38Speaker 4: a bunch of people line up and pull for a scaliber,
- 46:40Speaker 4: But in Georgia R. Martin version, when you don't pull
- 46:43Speaker 4: it out, you turn the stone. You know. It's just
- 46:45Speaker 4: that's the difference here. It's like you fail, you die,
- 46:48Speaker 4: you know, and then the one person pulls out, you know,
- 46:50Speaker 4: or two people pull out dragons out of this. But
- 46:53Speaker 4: back to that point, like the whole you know, ren
- 46:56Speaker 4: Errator crew is it's tomato tomatow at this point, whether
- 46:59Speaker 4: or not you you know, send them all down there
- 47:01Speaker 4: to eliminature competition, or you send them down there to
- 47:03Speaker 4: find two dragons. You've sent them all down there, and
- 47:06Speaker 4: the majority of those people died and the majority of
- 47:08Speaker 4: you have families, et cetera. Which word is going to
- 47:11Speaker 4: get back? You know, that's it's yeah, they're gonna be
- 47:14Speaker 4: repercussions for this, just like you did great PR last episode.
- 47:18Speaker 4: Now your PR you know, they over your tear down
- 47:20Speaker 4: the drop in the streets and when they get this
- 47:23Speaker 4: drop about how you cook these niggas, you know, supreme
- 47:26Speaker 4: make up as hot in the streets anymore, You're.
- 47:28Speaker 3: Right, Is it gonna be about how they got cooked?
- 47:30Speaker 3: Or is it gonna be about how she gave common
- 47:32Speaker 3: folk the ability to claim a dragon?
- 47:35Speaker 1: It could bet.
- 47:39Speaker 4: You gotta get out there. You gotta get them out there.
- 47:42Speaker 4: On the you know some of them and that ship.
- 47:45Speaker 4: But I do want to say that, like for sure
- 47:47Speaker 4: you mentioned the sound design and everything, and two things
- 47:50Speaker 4: about that. One, I have to say that vermonitor is
- 47:53Speaker 4: even mo petty or I guess more hungry than was right,
- 47:59Speaker 4: because see the would just put that, Yeah, he's much bigger,
- 48:02Speaker 4: so because he's gonna cook the niggas and just bounce
- 48:04Speaker 4: like right, I'm good this niggas cooked niggas and then
- 48:09Speaker 4: ate them. And what I also loved about that was
- 48:12Speaker 4: and I'm watching the scene and these niggas are freemen.
- 48:14Speaker 4: I'm my nigga. Just shut the fuck up. And the
- 48:16Speaker 4: Berman throw was just shutting the focus. You like them
- 48:19Speaker 4: on fire and they'd be like.
- 48:22Speaker 9: And it goes silent like the South again with pure perfection.
- 48:28Speaker 9: Because that scene was like you don't even have to watch,
- 48:31Speaker 9: you just hear it and he terrified.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it was given quiet place. I loved it.
- 48:35Speaker 2: It was just like, dude, I felt terrified for them,
- 48:40Speaker 2: like y'all are going And to your point, man, the
- 48:42Speaker 2: death was ridiculous, like people who got who would even
- 48:45Speaker 2: get flamed and it just got knocked off the platform
- 48:48Speaker 2: and you know, bang back broken type ship like crazy,
- 48:52Speaker 2: and and then.
- 48:53Speaker 4: That nigga intentionally was knocking niggas off, all y'all niggas.
- 48:58Speaker 2: That's why I'm so cold. He was intentional. Vermit Thor
- 49:01Speaker 2: was intentional about it. And then I really really actually,
- 49:04Speaker 2: I'm sorry, it's morbid, but I enjoyed.
- 49:05Speaker 1: How he ate them niggas. That was on Flames. He
- 49:07Speaker 1: did the whole schmores on the nigga.
- 49:10Speaker 2: And like you could see the person in golf in
- 49:12Speaker 2: Flames going down vermon Thor's throat, Like I was like,
- 49:15Speaker 2: this is incredible.
- 49:16Speaker 1: That's what I said. I ain't never seen no ship
- 49:19Speaker 1: like this. I love this show so, oh my god,
- 49:21Speaker 1: I love the show.
- 49:21Speaker 4: Yeah. No, that those shots of verm like you were
- 49:23Speaker 4: talking about the Jurassic part shot when the cameras moving
- 49:26Speaker 4: all around and he's much behind the boulder. It's just
- 49:30Speaker 4: some amazing photography on this show right now.
- 49:33Speaker 2: And understanding the scale of which, like when they said dragon,
- 49:37Speaker 2: my god, again we were talking about the show Pony
- 49:39Speaker 2: Dragon when we're talking about a real life, real ass dragon.
- 49:44Speaker 4: Right like, looks good. That's you know what I mean?
- 49:53Speaker 3: Girl, We can be we can be a little too
- 49:56Speaker 3: hard on Grandma said.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Not too much on said I get you, but when
- 50:01Speaker 4: new shining, Yeah, when you Hotland rolled up, you gotta
- 50:05Speaker 4: let it know.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Now you're sounding like Circe's prophecy, like you know, like
- 50:10Speaker 3: a new queen will come to take your place.
- 50:12Speaker 4: And.
- 50:14Speaker 1: That's how it be.
- 50:15Speaker 2: And I'm sorry, we'll be I go back to dragon design.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Vegar is an ugly bitch.
- 50:19Speaker 4: I'm sorry, sorry, And they like that beat up Godzilla
- 50:24Speaker 4: from the Matthew Broder movie.
- 50:30Speaker 2: And I'm like, how vermon Throt came out the darkness
- 50:32Speaker 2: like you justified you just heard it.
- 50:35Speaker 1: You couldn't see nothing, and then just the outline like
- 50:39Speaker 1: oh my god, like.
- 50:40Speaker 3: That was y'all are coming for Vegar's face card and saying.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Card never denies, but by guard has a rush card.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Okay, decline, there's nothing going on there. Okay, not a
- 50:56Speaker 2: damn thing.
- 50:57Speaker 4: It could even smoke. Wait pretty year, like Vagar is
- 51:01Speaker 4: definitely the uggiest of the dragon I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
- 51:04Speaker 4: Like I don't get it, ain't even close like that.
- 51:09Speaker 4: Nigga's not in the contest, like he is not made.
- 51:12Speaker 1: If you stay at home, you're done, you're done.
- 51:16Speaker 4: You better hope for a fairy godmother to come around
- 51:18Speaker 4: and pitch your your sisters is over at the ball.
- 51:28Speaker 1: You ain't no money.
- 51:32Speaker 4: You got, you got tears swabbing the dicks like your
- 51:35Speaker 4: sisters at the ball.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Damon this nigga. Never leave in Hary like.
- 51:48Speaker 4: Nigga Luisa's many never said you're finna die here, and
- 51:54Speaker 4: I'm just believing in only ten episodes. Never leave, You're
- 52:00Speaker 4: gonna die like an eight eight year old man.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Because and the reason.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Other I mean for clear reasons, but also he does
- 52:09Speaker 2: every time we see him something like he's doing something
- 52:12Speaker 2: in real life that he falls into a dream. Is
- 52:14Speaker 2: this niggas just in a constant dream state like he's
- 52:17Speaker 2: he could just be sitting on a rock somewhere and Correxis.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Is just poking him like Nigga, you gonna wait, nothing
- 52:25Speaker 1: could be happening right now. And I mean like he
- 52:26Speaker 1: just is just done.
- 52:29Speaker 2: I like that he got what he deserved in terms
- 52:31Speaker 2: of how he was treated this episode. When it comes
- 52:33Speaker 2: to young Oscar Tully.
- 52:36Speaker 4: My nig for his Oscar the side, I've got the
- 52:40Speaker 4: grouch that Nigga's side eyes.
- 52:45Speaker 1: All day. Oscar the way he big bro, Damon, he
- 52:50Speaker 1: said you sure about that? Do you feel in charge?
- 52:54Speaker 1: Do you want this army?
- 52:56Speaker 2: Or notes the power lie every in the room and
- 53:03Speaker 2: Damon never really seems to learn.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Where does the power? So you can bluster all you want, Damon,
- 53:11Speaker 3: but where does the power actually lie?
- 53:13Speaker 4: Mm hm?
- 53:14Speaker 3: And you talking about being king consour and everyone being like, sir,
- 53:20Speaker 3: you just can't wait to be king all day, We're not.
- 53:22Speaker 3: We're not here for that. We're right now.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Showing him about all these titles. Don't fucking matter, guy,
- 53:28Speaker 1: because we don't like you, they said. We do not
- 53:31Speaker 1: fuck with you musically, we don't. I don't look like you.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I have no love for you. Like they said that
- 53:36Speaker 1: to him thirty fucking times over and over again.
- 53:38Speaker 2: They said that he made the queen look weak, You
- 53:41Speaker 2: made the queen you You fucked up my brand, understand
- 53:45Speaker 2: and like we we are followers, we are supporters.
- 53:48Speaker 1: You're not part of the swifties right now, you're not
- 53:52Speaker 1: part of them.
- 53:52Speaker 3: No friendship race slip for you, like nothing at all.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Ben, You said it earlier when you was just like
- 53:58Speaker 1: how Grover or te me not growing?
- 54:00Speaker 2: But Oscar he understands how to or maybe you said
- 54:04Speaker 2: that Portia too, just he understands how to lead, like
- 54:06Speaker 2: he understands like how to make happen. And the fact
- 54:09Speaker 2: that all this time Damon was playing him like oh
- 54:13Speaker 2: you don't know shit, oh you young, Oh you just.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Told you that, and Oscar played him like a fucking fiddle.
- 54:18Speaker 6: M M.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Like the whole he was like, okay, because remember he
- 54:21Speaker 2: was even talking back to Damian, you know, when they
- 54:23Speaker 2: was in the room by themselves, he was like, well,
- 54:24Speaker 2: remember you said that, you know, I don't know shit.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Remember you said this, Remember you said that, you know
- 54:27Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like he was using his own words
- 54:29Speaker 2: against him, And.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Then in front of the river Lords, he was just like, yeah,
- 54:32Speaker 1: you know, like he was. He was playing his hand
- 54:34Speaker 1: very well.
- 54:36Speaker 4: He had the big joker yeah, because I mean the
- 54:39Speaker 4: big joker right there, because he told him, my man,
- 54:41Speaker 4: oh yeah, you know you are my dude. You know
- 54:43Speaker 4: you gotta serve me. Get on your knees, put your
- 54:44Speaker 4: sword out, but to get served.
- 54:51Speaker 2: But you know what I mean, he understands. He he
- 54:54Speaker 2: because he was raised right. He understands the power. He said,
- 54:57Speaker 2: what the power likes. He understands the power to tradition
- 54:59Speaker 2: and the power how to rally the people with him,
- 55:03Speaker 2: with for or against someone.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Right, So just that whole thing was massiful.
- 55:07Speaker 2: That whole conversation was massful, just the way Oscar positioned
- 55:10Speaker 2: himself and just said, look, this is what I believe
- 55:12Speaker 2: we're gonna We're gonna.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Be Loyaltyraneerer and her consort.
- 55:16Speaker 2: However, KMA, some things gotta be some grievance CITs gotta
- 55:20Speaker 2: be corrected, some grave erors gotta be corrected. And Damon
- 55:24Speaker 2: was Damon had nothing once again, another person with no moves.
- 55:28Speaker 1: What was you gonna do?
- 55:29Speaker 3: Is this the first time we've seen Damon have to
- 55:32Speaker 3: actually move the consequences of his actions? Mmmm, like being
- 55:39Speaker 3: held a task and accountable for his actions.
- 55:42Speaker 1: That's actually a good question.
- 55:44Speaker 4: Well, I think he's being held this whole season, but
- 55:46Speaker 4: this is the culmination of it.
- 55:48Speaker 3: But it's like directly like.
- 55:52Speaker 2: In this moment, you gotta you gotta go fix this
- 55:54Speaker 2: right now, manifestation of everything coming to the head.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Yeah, you're I think you're right, Porsche. I I never
- 56:03Speaker 1: seen this before.
- 56:06Speaker 4: Also, in that dream that was that was he looked
- 56:14Speaker 4: and like I say, he looked pretty vital even with
- 56:17Speaker 4: like you think, yeah, like you know, like lost or
- 56:21Speaker 4: something I don't know, Like he just looked.
- 56:23Speaker 3: More like I think he was more animated like when
- 56:26Speaker 3: he was more last season. He was like more like
- 56:31Speaker 3: because he's because he's his dream self here.
- 56:34Speaker 4: Like he was straight up like, yeah, it was good.
- 56:39Speaker 3: The face that's scared day like he like, you know,
- 56:42Speaker 3: like the Damon. But Damon HLDs in his head about
- 56:44Speaker 3: like where his brother ended up, like how he fell apart.
- 56:46Speaker 3: He has that that also has the brother energy that
- 56:50Speaker 3: he grew up with, so he has that's Dave.
- 56:54Speaker 2: And in the dream, Ben vinceris is something you said
- 56:57Speaker 2: last week which was just about like the weight of
- 56:59Speaker 2: the crown and how that crushes you and how Aimen
- 57:03Speaker 2: was physically crushing Agon, you know, with the rate of
- 57:05Speaker 2: the crown and all that stuff, and and Visariah's Ripisa.
- 57:07Speaker 2: He says, the weight of the crown will crushing you know.
- 57:09Speaker 2: He never even wanted it, and Damon, you've wanted it
- 57:12Speaker 2: this whole time. You still want it, right, like you know,
- 57:15Speaker 2: is it worth it?
- 57:16Speaker 1: All right?
- 57:17Speaker 2: And these these dreams and these these visions like besides
- 57:23Speaker 2: this being probably the first time like he's getting the
- 57:25Speaker 2: consequence of his actions.
- 57:26Speaker 1: At what point does he wake up.
- 57:30Speaker 3: I just enjoyed the juxtaposition of the crushing the crown
- 57:35Speaker 3: crushing people and it crushing like damon and the weight
- 57:37Speaker 3: of it like in his mind of does he actually
- 57:39Speaker 3: want it, and then immediately panning over to the crown
- 57:42Speaker 3: crushing someone else, which is agon like, and him being
- 57:47Speaker 3: in a crushed position because his brother also wanted the
- 57:50Speaker 3: crown like that whole like they're the crushing is mirrored,
- 57:54Speaker 3: and yeah, one generation removed like.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Right right after the other.
- 57:58Speaker 2: I have a question too out the crown, and I
- 58:01Speaker 2: could be tripping, but when they zoomed in a little
- 58:03Speaker 2: bit on a crown, was it facing on the wolf side?
- 58:06Speaker 4: Like?
- 58:06Speaker 2: It looked like it was facing on a dire wolf side, cause,
- 58:08Speaker 2: you know how like the crown, I believe the crown
- 58:09Speaker 2: had the sigils of all the different houses or.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Something like that.
- 58:11Speaker 2: It looked like an outline of a wolf. I could
- 58:13Speaker 2: have been making that up, but it just felt like
- 58:17Speaker 2: that's what I seen. I don't know, leave that for
- 58:20Speaker 2: the side I have.
- 58:20Speaker 3: To look at, because I know for Sara's crown is
- 58:23Speaker 3: a very particular crown, okay, and I remember things about
- 58:27Speaker 3: it and I forget them, but I will say that
- 58:30Speaker 3: there were multiple things that were in this episode that
- 58:35Speaker 3: reminded me of like again, we still haven't seen the
- 58:40Speaker 3: Starks enter the fight yet, and.
- 58:42Speaker 1: There were bears the gray Beard sorry, go ahead.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Where they kept because like Rickord, Sir Rickard, Rickard is
- 58:50Speaker 3: a name that's typically held in the North. So whenever
- 58:53Speaker 3: they talked, whenever we and we have spoken about this yet,
- 58:55Speaker 3: but Alison her like night she called them sir Rickard,
- 58:59Speaker 3: and I'm like, is he from the North? Over here
- 59:01Speaker 3: defending Agon's claim? And then I had to look it
- 59:04Speaker 3: up and I was like, okay, no, because it's typically
- 59:06Speaker 3: a northern name and maybe his family came from the
- 59:09Speaker 3: North or whatever, but it's not initially like he's not
- 59:11Speaker 3: from the North.
- 59:14Speaker 4: George, Yeah, like you call that George, but rick heard
- 59:19Speaker 4: is George.
- 59:22Speaker 3: He shows him up. That actor shows up on so
- 59:23Speaker 3: many stuff.
- 59:24Speaker 4: I keep forgetting that's the first time I seen him
- 59:27Speaker 4: my day. I ret because I'm like, George, I was confused, perfect.
- 59:33Speaker 3: But go off on that, but yeah, there might be
- 59:35Speaker 3: something in that the woolside showing and also like Rickord,
- 59:39Speaker 3: like being in the same episode, like about this, I
- 59:41Speaker 3: hope like some kind of like notes about the starts
- 59:45Speaker 3: being miring at some point.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Basically, and that's why I thought I saw what I saw.
- 59:51Speaker 4: But whatever, And on that mirroring, let's talk about Alison
- 59:55Speaker 4: and her going to swim in.
- 59:57Speaker 1: The her mental breakdown and her also.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: And also you know, her getting swim up in something,
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: you know, get purified in that water, and then and
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: then cutting to the Rainier. Yeah, like you know we've
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: talked before that they're you know, her love for Nier
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: might be deeper than just a sisterly love and might
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: be you know, more of a you know, wanted to
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: get up in them guts love and romantic guts, you know,
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: if she's swimming up in them, you know, dreaming of
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: Vernier and then we cut the Vernier.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's a it's a very complicated love.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Like I absolutely think it's beyond just friendship. And we've
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: seen this telegraph since they was kids, right, Like, it's
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: so complicated just in the fact of what they're both
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: fighting against, what they both fight for and with. You
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: know that they both have have similar battles against patriarchy,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: they both have similar battles against themselves, battles with their
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: own family, you know, skin folk and kin folk type ship,
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: like it's it's insane, and you know, Allison, Allison didn't
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: a really pertinent line this episode.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: She said nothing is clean here, you know, and then the.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Rats walking around eating dirt and shit is dirty old,
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: you know, and you know, she got everything everything's wrong.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: I didn't mention. I didn't mentioned this last week. But
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: when she got cut, I really thought that was a
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: mirror of Visara's, you know, and his little injury, and
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: then it growing into something much worse. It could be so,
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: but I think her getting out of the castle is
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: going to prevent that from happening. I think that's probably.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: I don't even I don't think Alison is having a
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: mental breakdown as much as Allison is just realizing what
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: is up against her, especially in that castle.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: So she's like, can you just not realizing this?
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: It's it's getting worse. Like with Damon, everything gets progressively worse,
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: you know, And so now it's like I've got nothing.
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: I can't bring my handmad it, I can't bring a retinue.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: I can only bring this one cat. And then I
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: gotta go, and you know I need I gotta go
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: eat praying love out here and try to figure this
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: shit out, because you know she didn't read.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: She told her record they ain't never going home. He
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: was like, god damn.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: He was like, I was releasing the castle, you know,
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: my bed at night.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: He was like for really, like I guess he was like, lady,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: you are in a you are in an e or situation.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: We are not even doing a full tent experience.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Not a cabin neary a fire like. And she was
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: she contributing to that. She was just like, I'm gonna
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: lay here.
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: You know, this has to be bringing out them tents
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: and have rooms in them, like on.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: My big ass room.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Yeah, they was in the They was in the low
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Born tents for sure. Well I wasn't here last week,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: But like that was fucking surprising to me. About the
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: whole thing with the sun. I was just like, you
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: got another sun where you know, the one that is
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: back in old town or whatever, and that's the one
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: y'all said that now his drink he got, well, is
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: it really ready or it's just like it just decided
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: this it's mad young, right, so it just started flying.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: It's probably if it's if it's ritable, then it's probably
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: like the size of Bayla's dragon.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, so it might could do something.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: It's a it's a dragon. Bayla's dragon is still a problem.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: It might not be a problem with Bag, but it's
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: a problem to anybody running around them.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, okay, cool, cool, cool, it's a problem.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: I like the symbolism that you mentioned though, for been
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: about like where housing is internally and like the cut
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: and like having to get away from like the impurities
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: of the castolic it's dirt is everything is dirty here,
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: and then like her like living like a small folk,
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: and then the like irony of her trying to live
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: like a small folk after she just came from being
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: attacked by.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: The small folk for the entire Now that's a good. Yeah,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: that's a good.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: And I also like it because she still sees herself
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: as right. That was interesting.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: She still mild.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: But again to me, it's not that wild because Ranera
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: is just as problematic when it comes down to it, like,
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: if you are willing to use dragons at this level,
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: then you are willing to do anything. And Allison, you know,
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: it's just out here. Like both of them, Vania has
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: a complex. Allison has a complex of being denied. Vaniera
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: has a Massia complex. Allison has a complex of feeling like,
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: you know, she's just as worthy as for sure. Yeah yeah,
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: but but Vaniera is in denial that she's like following
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: this Massiah comflix. She's really like, I'm getting right.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: And she is, though, but like we have proof on paper.
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: That she is right, No, we don't. What we have
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: is somebody telling her a story that you should be
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: queen and our line should be you know, because we
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: have to eventually stop the white walkers. That's why she
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: does everything she's doing because of this story.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: It was pronounced across the kingdom. It wasn't like it was.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: That's small.
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: Once again, again, I go back to what happens. It
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: doesn't matter. I don't give a damn man, woman child.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: When somebody says you're gonna be king, somebody else would say,
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: fuck that, nigga, you know what I mean. So it's
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: how you react to that once it goes down, and
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: how she reacted to that once it goes down is interesting.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: I just don't like it's all natural to like inheritance
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: of a big seat, like it's.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: Gonna like this is all what they're gonna be drama if.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: Your seat you're gonna go with them all guns. You're
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: not gonna come with them with.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: Like you got. Well, look at look at people like hers.
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: People challenge her seat, and she blew them niggas up
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: in the crypt. She made moves. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: It was like moves like I'm just saying, like it
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: looks good right now. That's what I keep saying. Everything
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: in an error does. That's why everybody cheers for her.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: But I'm looking ahead and we're gonna see a whole
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: fucking nuclear bombs and you know, blowing up your Orshima, Nagasaki,
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: New York City. You know you said everywhere.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Else in a second, Well, in your own logic, you
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: don't think that was wrong that Circe blew up a
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: step full of other people, including the challengers.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: You don't think that that looks crazy too, I.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: Sirs, And in the end we saw what happened to sirs.
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: You know what I mean. That's what I'm saying. Ranera
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: is going and and Ranera's going down the same path
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: that the Naras went down. It sounds good, but you
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: got to listen to what they're saying. Ranera said, let
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: me finish the Narra said, I'm going to break the wheel.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: That sounded great when we were watching it, But then
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: what does that mean, you know, she says, I will
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: do anything to get this thrown back. What does that mean.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: I just think that we went into this knowing what's
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: going to be a tragedy, and so yeah.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: I don't think I don't think a lot of people
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: know that. I think a lot of people because that's
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: something that's very people don't appreciate media like that, and
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: because ninety nine percent of stories told in media are comedies,
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: are in the comedic forum, like we talked about last week,
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: I don't think people realize what a tragedy means, you know,
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: in terms of storytelling that is going to end on
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: a download, because people don't see that it's so rare.
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: Like I've talked about on the show, the Infinity War
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: is one of the only ones that I can think
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: of a modern times and that has endiame. So it's
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: really even not a tragedy, but to see is something
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: that ends where where the heat, where our protagonist fails
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: is something we don't see often, but where if it's
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: a tragedy where the protagonist is actually the villain, we
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: don't see that as that much either. That was Infinity War.
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: The protagonist was the villain of the story. He won,
- 1:07:39Speaker 4: but what he won was the destruction of the universe.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I do agree that we.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Don't, at least in mainstream media, we keep something vermitthro
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: keeps cutting Nummi's wires.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: You don't like, he came for her face car and
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: she's like, I'm gonna play with me today, not today.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: I do agree Ben that in general media, mainstream media,
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: that we don't see that a lot on a larger scale,
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: not to say, because there are stories out there that
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: are absolute stategies, but maybe on the largest scale where
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: the most people see. You're right that we don't see
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: a lot, So people may not be in tune that
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: that's what's happening. However, also people do understand, like what
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: happens when the family feuds, right, and multiple stories, you know,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: any story you could think of from from time memorial,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: when it becomes an in fighting situation, it ends up
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: a tragedy like and it ends up nobody winning. So
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: I would I wouldn't doubt that people know where this
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: could potentially lead to.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Do they want it to go down that path?
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: No?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: But I'm also not going to doubt that the audience
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: everyone watching is.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Going to be like you say, everyone, but I think
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: a lot of people don't. And I think a lot
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: of people just like it's the same thing, because that
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: was the thing. That's when people watching Thrones people were
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: so surprised by the Narest's term, while the Naris term
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: was well beyond the appointment let me got let me
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: finish the shits. Like I said that, I know it's
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: not well ritten. It was very rush, but it was
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: if George R. Martin ever finishes these books, is gonna
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: end with the near burning up ship because she said
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: she's gonna do that from the jump. You know, she
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: never denied that, and her actions all the way leading
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: up to that were always mier versions of that.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say, and I don't think sounds like
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: you're saying that, like the primary audience is expecting Lion
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: King when this is all set up for Hamlet.
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: People were happened that. Like people are like talking about
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: how it's gonna end with John Snow and the Nars
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: having kids and their little.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Dragon of Icy fire fandom, But that's also the Song
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: of Ice and Fire fandom. Because they've been doing that
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: theories for years and years and years before the show
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: ever had come out, put together two plus four and
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: then they had like pictured us out in the way
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: the man stream.
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: But no, but that's that.
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: Is the fandom mainstream. And then what I'm saying is
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: people don't get like that. The Narses not on that path,
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: you know. And just like Vanera is not on that
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: path where it's gonna be some yay piece in it.
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: You know, that's not the endings.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: It's gonna be handled. It's not going to be Lionking. No,
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: And people, yeah, like the actual story that linking is
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: based on tragedy m liking itself, and people.
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: Yeah, people think it's all you know. And that's what
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: I'm saying because people are trained, and because people are
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: trained to follow a protagonist as a hero, you know.
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: And I keep saying that, and people would just you know,
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: I keep making this point because it's a very important
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: point that I feel like people are just mining. And also,
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: like y'all say, because y'all want the cyber romer and
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: people are blood thirsty, there's the other side of it
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: where people like seeing the drama and action.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: That's why I watch it because I like, I like.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: Dragon seeing cooking niggas, But I also know on the
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: large scale, when they start cooking niggas, that's you know.
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: That's why I always say, Biggie, small folk, you know,
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: Shorty got lo lo lo fo, you know loo gotta
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: watch out for them, and you know that nobody.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: The fun thing is that, like with that consideration, we
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: also have small folks writing dragons. So what happens when
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: you're talking about power? What happens when the small person
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: has the power of a nuclear warhead?
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: And you hammer is a problem fan that Nigga is
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: about that. I told you that Nigga's like a world
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: wife out here, Okay, you know, like if you're willing
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: to leave your vife like that, you're willing to do
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: a lot of shit.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, he could be a problem.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: I don't trust Olf in the sense that he's an oaf,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: like just yeah, he don't have no real skills besides
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: one of his mouth. So granted, you can pobby teach
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: someone you know, how to train your dragon in ten days,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: but it's also just like.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Y, I don't know what you're doing.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Like he like you saw even him, he was like
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: on a bull, like he was like the ball over Kingsland,
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: like that shit looked like I don't know, I just don't.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: I don't trust his abilities right, And then like and
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: also I don't know if he's he not brave at
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: least from what I've seen, he's not brave.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Can he man up? Possibly?
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Is he actual brave person who can fight on behalf
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: of in the name of Raniera?
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I could see that happening with Hugh, not so much
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: with all for Hugh, I would just.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: Want to name the fact that Homeboy was the only
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: person that we saw stand up to the dragon and
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: be like, you can't kill me. I'm a bad bitch.
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: But he's he His initial thing was like I'm ready
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: to die anyway, take me right, And then after it,
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: after the dragon kept waiting, he was like, wait a minute,
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: you can't kill me. I'm a bad Yeah. I got
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: this about that change over in like confidence and like
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: vermin thor like like recognizing like him in that way
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: and bermonthor being that big dragon in the way that
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: he is, and like bowing to or like cowing to Hugh. Yes,
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: I think that the way that he has been set
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: up Off so far in his story because wasn't he
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: the one? It wasn't Off. It was him who snatched
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: groceries from somebody as trying to come back. Ye, we
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: know it's not like he's not just an honorable condom man.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Like it's more to him than like the little like
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: family man storyline that we've gotten so far. And the
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: fact that like the reason that he named and having
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: his mother and how he always resented her. There's something
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: under the like layers with you that I'm you know,
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: try I don't and with Vermin Thor especially a little bit,
- 1:13:13Speaker 3: I'm like, why did Vermitthor choose him? What was it
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: that Vermo saw in him?
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: And what is that saw a nigga who's ready to
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: you know, burn niggas and he's like, this is what
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: I'm down to. Yeah, he's like, this is the niggas
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: that're gonna get me the most niggas, So let's go.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: Uh before we go, we didn't mention the Aimen Aimen
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: you know, upgraded Damon, but he the main things he does,
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: he sends the frat guard.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: To the wall.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I gotta talk about that. The black man's
- 1:13:47Speaker 4: hand for the white man's crime like that brother didn't
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: do ship. He wasn't even in the last episode and
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: the Wall.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: They said that they was part of the riots. So
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: they they he was why did he say so we didn't.
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: Sit but we didn't. We didn't see the full riot though,
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: because you know the one of the one of them,
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: the white one, is when he chopped the handoff and
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: started to ride off.
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: In the front.
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: Okay, so that's how the right like, that's why I
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: got accused for that. We didn't see the full right,
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: We didn't see what because like in the books, you
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: do hear a bit more about what the King's guard
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: were up to against a small folk. Whenever Helene and
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna get there.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Was a reason why they showed.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: That was the reason why they showed us because it's
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: technically inconsequentials, but they showed us that whole situation with
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: them getting the boot to the wall. And also like
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: the fact that like Aiman, unlike Agon is not going
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: to just string them up, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Like on a like the difference in the.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Brothers send them out personally gonna.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: Like you're gonna go serve the kingdom, but away from here.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: And then also what was my thought about like things
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: that were not quite picking. Oh, I also want to
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: note how the small Council for a amond Is or
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: Agon Smoke Council currently under Amland is working in a
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: way that is clearly conspiring against him because whenever the
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: first thing that we noticed of this is whenever, like
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: Lord Laris is staring out at these guys getting pooled
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: to go to the wall or whatever, and the council
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: member whose name I have not bothered to learn because
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: I I forgot.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: Sorry, I'm sorry to see that man.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: But whenever he like goes he walks up to Laris
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: and he's like, I got word that there's a new
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Dragon writer. And Larius is like interested, but also like
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: you can see him weighing, what does.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: That calculating what he's yeah, because he's like, one.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: Why did you come to meet with this? Why didn't
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: you go straight to aimage yourself. Two it's this reliable
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: information in the first place, because I know how I
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: get my whispers on reg basis, I don't know if
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: I can trust you for whatever you're trying to pedal
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: to me right now. Three, this what is the power
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: play that I can play here, what can I do
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: with this? And in their conversation we get to the
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: point where we're understanding that this council member has less
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: faith in Aimened than he has and Lord Laris and
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: moving things, and he's willing for Lord Laris to be
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: like and it's the thing, It's like we can't as
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: an audience. It's like, is it that this council member
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: is afraid to step to aim And with knowledge, like
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: he's afraid of what the consequences will be, how aim
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: And will react to him with this knowledge? Or is
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: he actually playing a game where he's like, I don't
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: want him to be aware of things I know.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with you. Porta. And the councilman name
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: is Lord Jasper and another guy.
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: That's funny because and I don't like what you're saying,
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: because I was trying to figure out was Laris like
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: playing his mind a bit, because he was just like
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: like when he asked him, well, who who gave you
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: this information?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: How do you find out about this?
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: And Jasper was like, well, my cousin sister's baby father,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: nail Tech told me right.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: And when that happened, I was just like, he's trying
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: to make him seem like.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: He's an idiot, right when this is important information and
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Laris could probably spin it some other way like Lara's.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: I think people recognize where you said, where does the
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: power lie? Like who's actually holding the strings and holding
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: and at least in the back, who's holding the reins right,
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: like who's really.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Making moves happen? And they all recognize.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: They're not saying it, but they recognize and they do
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: agree with Alison even though they played her that you
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: can't aim In is too wild. Aim as a wild boy,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: like he's he's about destruction at the end of the
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: day and this is not gonna go good for anybody,
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: and he needs to be curved. So there is to
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: your point, there is a lot of conspiring going on
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: within the Small Council.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Absolutely absolutely, and.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: I think whenever we see the scene of so like
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: so there's that's one conspired conspiratorial thing. The second sports
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: is spiritual that within this episode was how the Grand
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: Master was talking to Lord Laris and not with Aimond
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: about Agon's like guess like his routine, like how they're
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: trying to get him back into his like shape breaking
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: be part of the Council and Larry's was like he
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: has to be ready soon and that is after he
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: got the information about there being a new dragon. Writer, Yeah,
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: so there is again like why is the Grand Measter
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: Like is it from the ginness of his heart that
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: he's like I just want Agon to heal and I
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: know Aimon would kill him as soon as possible, or
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: is there actual conspiratorial Like I think that Laris is
- 1:18:42Speaker 3: doing what's needed for the throne, and I would trust
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: the work of the Council under Agon more than I
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: do under Aimen's and the same I'm working for. So
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: again conspiracy who the conspira against Aimen? And what does
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: Aimon have in place for his counsel not being on
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: his side, because I don't know if Aimon it's planning
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: and plotting in that way. And we see it come
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: to a head when Homeboy like flies over King's landing,
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: we hear those dragon sounds the rest of the count
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: I think that Amon clocked the rest of the council
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: just makes surprise, yep, to hear dragon. He's a surprise
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: to hear dragon. But the council is not surprised to
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: hear a dragon's flying around King's landing. That's not Agon
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: or any of the other Targarians currently in King's landing.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: So I think this is the first time Aimened is
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: getting clued in possibly that the Council is not for him,
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: and he's gonna move accordingly with the clues that he's starting.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: To pick up.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: Well, his according move to this time was he to
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: turn the fuck around, because when he rolled, when he
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: tried to pull up on dragons on and saw them
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: extra dragons, he said, oh no, he wasn't ready for that.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: So I think it's exactly what you're saying, like the
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: pieces is coming together real fast, and it's like, oh
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: wait a minute. And also, where the fuck is Otto
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: don't Chris Jenner?
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Where is he.
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: Out with the other son? He's about to come back
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: with that dragon?
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Is he gonna come out back next episode?
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: If not, yeah, i'd probably say next episode?
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, all right, is there anything else for this
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: episode that we haven't talked about? A god becoming vicarious,
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: all this stuff?
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: All right? We got one more episode?
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: Mm hm.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: Portia.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: You had said early on you were just like they
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: could potentially do this whole story and like one more
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: season or season and a half some shit like that.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: We're not gonna say we got to see a big
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: death tomorrow, not tomorrow, but next week.
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: Let's wait, wait, let's not do that. People are already
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: accusing us of too much, you know, leaning from the books.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: That's like to be fair what they have said.
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: Up.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: I thought there would be somewhere. I thought they would
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: give us a big death this final.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Episode today or the next or the next final episode.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: I thought this season not that to give us like
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: a big death turn. But they really slowed stuff down
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: in a way that I really am not sure what.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: We potentially could get next week. I know, like in
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: my brain, like three episodes ago, like if they can't
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: moving at a regular pace, we can get to a
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: major death. We're not moving at that pace down we
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: may not get that. We may not get that major
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: death into the end of next season. And that's not
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: even the end.
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: Of the story.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: So damn. Okay, So we're back where we started. Basically,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: we're still in Haronhall. Thank you.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: Uh all right, So I don't know what's about to
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: happen next week, but I know that we will be
