- 1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:02,720 It's still prudent to be damaged in the... 2 00:00:02,720 --> 00:00:12,920 What now me? 3 00:00:12,920 --> 00:00:17,120 Welcome everybody! 4 00:00:17,120 --> 00:00:20,400 Welcome to this week's Nisvisto Robo Show. 5 00:00:20,400 --> 00:00:24,360 October 8, 1969, from October 8, 2026. 6 00:00:24,360 --> 00:00:27,120 This year WWE Money in the Bank. 7 00:00:27,120 --> 00:00:33,720 Preview and predictions edition of S on Team View. 8 00:00:33,720 --> 00:00:36,720 I am one having to show I am Jeff Peck. 9 00:00:36,720 --> 00:00:40,720 Joining every single week my host along with Dr. Franklin. 10 00:00:40,720 --> 00:00:47,320 Dr. Tre, would you rather win Money in the Bank or punch someone in the head, my friend? 11 00:00:47,320 --> 00:00:50,120 Ooh, that depends on my mood swing. 12 00:00:50,120 --> 00:00:54,920 So I have a contract, I have a contract for a title shot whenever I want. 13 00:00:54,920 --> 00:00:58,720 Or I have the opportunity to kick somebody in the head whenever I want. 14 00:00:58,720 --> 00:01:01,120 Is that why is that where we're laying down here? 15 00:01:01,120 --> 00:01:03,720 I might go punch in the head. 16 00:01:03,720 --> 00:01:05,720 I might go that way. 17 00:01:05,720 --> 00:01:09,720 Just frustrations sometimes overwaid joy. 18 00:01:09,720 --> 00:01:14,920 So the fact that at any point I can just say, "Alright, get down. 19 00:01:14,920 --> 00:01:15,920 I got kick in the head. 20 00:01:15,920 --> 00:01:19,320 Like at any point in my life, I might go that way." 21 00:01:19,320 --> 00:01:21,320 Hey, I think most people probably would. 22 00:01:21,320 --> 00:01:23,320 Dr. Tre, quite honestly. 23 00:01:23,320 --> 00:01:28,420 So that has been something that has been torn with a good friend of ours, the one and only 24 00:01:28,420 --> 00:01:35,820 Cody Rhodes, as of late on Smackdown as this past Friday, Dr. Tre, he chose revenge over 25 00:01:35,820 --> 00:01:41,720 Money in the Bank as Randy Orton caused him to miss out on his opportunity to reclaim 26 00:01:41,720 --> 00:01:44,920 the WWE Championship. 27 00:01:44,920 --> 00:01:49,020 Cody Rhodes had Kevin Owens beat in and he was second away from qualifying for Money in the 28 00:01:49,020 --> 00:01:50,020 Bank. 29 00:01:50,020 --> 00:01:52,420 Randy Orton pulled the referee out and stopped the count. 30 00:01:52,420 --> 00:01:57,020 Cody had a chance to get back into the match but instead he became fixated on trying to 31 00:01:57,020 --> 00:01:58,020 punt Orton. 32 00:01:58,020 --> 00:02:01,180 We've heard him last of late saying he's not going to miss this time. 33 00:02:01,180 --> 00:02:05,060 That distraction ultimately helped Kevin Owens qualify as Johnny Gargano took Cody Rhodes 34 00:02:05,060 --> 00:02:06,060 out. 35 00:02:06,060 --> 00:02:09,980 Johnny Gargano gets back into the ring, gets a stunner, 1, 2, 3, Kevin Owens qualifies for 36 00:02:09,980 --> 00:02:11,060 Money in the Bank. 37 00:02:11,060 --> 00:02:14,820 The most interesting part was not simply Orton costing Cody the match. 38 00:02:14,820 --> 00:02:18,940 Cody chose revenge over the opportunity sitting directly in front of him. 39 00:02:18,940 --> 00:02:22,300 If WWE is trying to show Orton getting inside Cody's head, this is probably the clear 40 00:02:22,300 --> 00:02:24,020 example yet. 41 00:02:24,020 --> 00:02:28,020 Now with Owens entering Money in the Bank, while Cody is left with nothing except an escalating 42 00:02:28,020 --> 00:02:30,540 obsession with Randy Orton. 43 00:02:30,540 --> 00:02:33,740 Bottom line Dr. Troy Randi Orton did not just cost Cody a Money in the Bank shot. 44 00:02:33,740 --> 00:02:36,340 He got Cody to cost himself. 45 00:02:36,340 --> 00:02:41,140 So I ask you this, is Cody Rhodes becoming more interesting because Randy Orton is bringing 46 00:02:41,140 --> 00:02:43,740 out a darker side of him? 47 00:02:43,740 --> 00:02:51,300 Yeah, I mean it's anytime we see different layers in a character. 48 00:02:51,300 --> 00:02:53,940 It makes it more interesting. 49 00:02:53,940 --> 00:02:55,500 And we've seen hints of this. 50 00:02:55,500 --> 00:03:00,900 You go back to when Rhodes and Owens were feuding a couple of years ago. 51 00:03:00,900 --> 00:03:03,740 When Owens would tell him, you can't pull the trigger. 52 00:03:03,740 --> 00:03:10,660 This has been kind of on that back burner of the Cody character for a couple of years 53 00:03:10,660 --> 00:03:11,660 now. 54 00:03:11,660 --> 00:03:18,140 And this rivalry with Orton, it goes back to WrestleMania, but this rivalry with Orton 55 00:03:18,140 --> 00:03:23,660 and Randy getting into his head is kind of pulling all that stuff out, which then makes people 56 00:03:23,660 --> 00:03:27,060 get excited because we are going to get the Cody heel turn or we're going to get home 57 00:03:27,060 --> 00:03:30,420 lander Cody or whatever people want to call it. 58 00:03:30,420 --> 00:03:36,060 But it does make the character a little bit more than just vanilla clean cut, guy in a 59 00:03:36,060 --> 00:03:40,380 nice suit, being the good guy, QB1, placating to the crowd. 60 00:03:40,380 --> 00:03:43,900 It does pull those extra layers out and that's what we're always kind of here for when it 61 00:03:43,900 --> 00:03:45,820 comes to wrestling characters. 62 00:03:45,820 --> 00:03:51,380 What I really like as of late Dr. Trey is I'm enjoying the writing for a lot of the stuff 63 00:03:51,380 --> 00:03:57,220 WWE is doing right now and I feel like they're not getting enough credit for it because I 64 00:03:57,220 --> 00:03:58,220 do. 65 00:03:58,220 --> 00:04:02,300 There are certainly some holes in some of the major storylines right now which I will get 66 00:04:02,300 --> 00:04:07,420 to my thoughts on the Bloodline 946 stuff, specifically and more specifically would include 67 00:04:07,420 --> 00:04:08,980 Solosakowa. 68 00:04:08,980 --> 00:04:14,540 But stuff like this, like you're watching Smackdown and the World Championship title picture 69 00:04:14,540 --> 00:04:16,540 is a lot of fun to watch. 70 00:04:16,540 --> 00:04:21,340 This stuff with Cody Rhodes is a lot of fun to watch. 71 00:04:21,340 --> 00:04:27,300 The writing has been very good lately and I don't think the general population has caught 72 00:04:27,300 --> 00:04:32,980 on yet maybe because there's been some trepidation of how bad WWE has been at points during this 73 00:04:32,980 --> 00:04:33,980 most recent stretch. 74 00:04:33,980 --> 00:04:38,540 I would say for like the last year it hasn't been some of their best writing when it comes 75 00:04:38,540 --> 00:04:40,300 from a creative standpoint. 76 00:04:40,300 --> 00:04:45,780 But I'm enjoying it and I like this layer of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton that I didn't 77 00:04:45,780 --> 00:04:51,220 foresee coming really when we entered this past year. 78 00:04:51,220 --> 00:04:55,940 You know one thing that you and I have always talked about is when there's competition it 79 00:04:55,940 --> 00:05:01,780 kind of brings up the best in WWE and there was a lull there for a couple of years where 80 00:05:01,780 --> 00:05:07,140 AEW wasn't painting on all sill when there's in WWE kind of coasted for lack of a return 81 00:05:07,140 --> 00:05:11,340 because they didn't feel the burn they didn't feel the pressure and I really think the last 82 00:05:11,340 --> 00:05:17,380 year that AEW has come on strong it's made WWE step their game up and there your other 83 00:05:17,380 --> 00:05:20,180 is some trepidation is kind of like us. 84 00:05:20,180 --> 00:05:24,580 Why do you think why are we not predicting AEW pay per view because AEW was so bad for 85 00:05:24,580 --> 00:05:30,020 so long it took us out of the market and just get excited about talking about it. 86 00:05:30,020 --> 00:05:34,540 And I think there's a lot of fans that got burnt by WWE when they crossed over and WWE got 87 00:05:34,540 --> 00:05:40,100 kind of lazy for lack of a better term that they really haven't caught on to the writing 88 00:05:40,100 --> 00:05:45,580 it's in a lot of it is like as you're getting back into WWE you're not catching the nuances 89 00:05:45,580 --> 00:05:50,060 of the storyline like one of my favorite things you know was that Cody interview with Michael 90 00:05:50,060 --> 00:05:55,500 Cole where they filmed it afterwards where Cody did the whisper into Michael Cole's ear 91 00:05:55,500 --> 00:06:00,620 but you know it's that Cody character where on screen you know when they lights are on 92 00:06:00,620 --> 00:06:05,900 he's playing you know the typical good guy but then you get those other little Easter egg 93 00:06:05,900 --> 00:06:10,620 layers where you're like oh this is a different version of it. 94 00:06:10,620 --> 00:06:15,660 The Smackdown writing's been so good with the punk Sammy KO storyline this Randy Orton 95 00:06:15,660 --> 00:06:20,020 Cody Rose storyline like the stuff on Ross been really good the women's division has been 96 00:06:20,020 --> 00:06:24,020 pretty good like it's been so I just wish they could find like one or two guys would be 97 00:06:24,020 --> 00:06:27,060 like hey you get your guys's job is to write the tag team division. 98 00:06:27,060 --> 00:06:30,100 Don't worry about anything else just fix the tag team division. 99 00:06:30,100 --> 00:06:33,460 Will let everybody else handle the men's and women's division. 100 00:06:33,460 --> 00:06:35,780 You two guys just fix the tag team division. 101 00:06:35,780 --> 00:06:41,300 Yeah I mean that would be something that I would certainly get totally behind absolutely 102 00:06:41,300 --> 00:06:44,900 knowing how my feelings are when it comes to the tag team division but yeah I just think 103 00:06:44,900 --> 00:06:50,260 that there's a lot of good writing right now it's exciting to watch and Smackdown to me 104 00:06:50,260 --> 00:06:55,820 in general has been obviously one of the better shows maybe the better show in WWE 105 00:06:55,820 --> 00:07:00,820 right now though I don't think Rose too far behind I'm looking at the feud here with Cody 106 00:07:00,820 --> 00:07:05,380 Dr. Trey does this feud eventually need Cody to cross a line that he cannot take back for 107 00:07:05,380 --> 00:07:07,900 his character development. 108 00:07:07,900 --> 00:07:12,980 I don't think it does I just think at some point you need to see Cody have that killer instinct 109 00:07:12,980 --> 00:07:17,180 like that that ability to pull the trigger and I don't think pulling the trigger necessarily 110 00:07:17,180 --> 00:07:23,980 means you know going above and like going too far I mean we've seen Cody cheat to win matches 111 00:07:23,980 --> 00:07:29,500 over this run in the last three years so it's in there. 112 00:07:29,500 --> 00:07:34,220 You just I think it's like it's kind of refreshing to see that this you know this clean cut you 113 00:07:34,220 --> 00:07:40,460 know blue eye blonde hair baby face can have an edge you know if they decide to pull the 114 00:07:40,460 --> 00:07:45,500 trigger and push him over that line and make him turn heal at some point you know it is 115 00:07:45,500 --> 00:07:49,900 what it is but they don't really need him in that role right now like you just need to 116 00:07:49,900 --> 00:07:55,740 see that Cody Rose can go to a dark place when he needs to win when the fire is really really 117 00:07:55,740 --> 00:08:01,180 hot he needs to kind of stand you know stand there and soak in the fire and come out stronger 118 00:08:01,180 --> 00:08:02,180 the other side. 119 00:08:02,180 --> 00:08:05,940 Yeah it's exciting it's I think it's really good character development for Cody because 120 00:08:05,940 --> 00:08:09,500 I think he was getting stagnant he was just becoming your white meat baby face that kind 121 00:08:09,500 --> 00:08:15,620 of gets boring it was very much John Cena ask and now we're seeing some some different 122 00:08:15,620 --> 00:08:19,860 you know he's a guy that has a ton of range and I'm glad that they're not boxing him into 123 00:08:19,860 --> 00:08:25,820 that John Cena whole by any means switching gears over to the raw brand doctor trade you've 124 00:08:25,820 --> 00:08:30,140 got another great storyline that that we've been talking about for weeks is the bloodline 125 00:08:30,140 --> 00:08:35,980 and the nine four six and this past Monday Roman Reigns brought Solus a coa back in there 126 00:08:35,980 --> 00:08:41,860 so we will get a six man tag team match that I think has a a I think this is what's got 127 00:08:41,860 --> 00:08:46,700 a catapult survivor series war games on Monday coming out of money in the bank I think 128 00:08:46,700 --> 00:08:51,500 whatever we see take place whether it is solo and Jacob about to turning on the bloodline 129 00:08:51,500 --> 00:08:58,420 or solo turning on his brothers and joining the nine four six this is where it begins to 130 00:08:58,420 --> 00:09:04,820 get really interesting for what I would assume to be a strong build for survivor series 131 00:09:04,820 --> 00:09:10,820 war games I for see us having one more person added to the nine four six maybe it's Jacob 132 00:09:10,820 --> 00:09:16,500 maybe it's solo and then you've got the the four guys Royce Lucien Price Bronco Neymar 133 00:09:16,500 --> 00:09:22,120 along with Jada Parker teaming with the bloodline of Jimmy J I think Naomi is going to be 134 00:09:22,120 --> 00:09:28,620 at there's some rumbling to about her return whether solos involved into that mix or Jacob 135 00:09:28,620 --> 00:09:33,900 and then Roman Reigns so it's either solo or Jacob is going to be paired up here with 136 00:09:33,900 --> 00:09:38,860 the nine four six in my opinion but going back to what we saw this past Monday the nine 137 00:09:38,860 --> 00:09:43,060 four six is war with the bloodline escalated again after Jacob about to was taken out by 138 00:09:43,060 --> 00:09:47,780 Jada Parker's SUV last week Roman Reigns confronted the uses about how badly the family had 139 00:09:47,780 --> 00:09:51,620 been losing control the situation called them the captains widened they make the call 140 00:09:51,620 --> 00:09:55,500 why did Jacob do it he's just a soldier which again makes me think that he's the one that's 141 00:09:55,500 --> 00:09:59,620 joining the nine four six and appears made the bloodline versus the nine four six official 142 00:09:59,620 --> 00:10:03,380 for next week Jimmy and J assume the Roma will be teaming with them but Roman revealed 143 00:10:03,380 --> 00:10:08,100 a returning solos echo instead it is solos first TV appearance since the nine four six 144 00:10:08,100 --> 00:10:13,060 abducted him back on September 21st so while all this matters you've got so many usos 145 00:10:13,060 --> 00:10:16,980 they spent years on opposite sides of the family story now a common enemy is forcing them 146 00:10:16,980 --> 00:10:21,580 back together Roman choosing solo rather than himself is interesting to as he tried to 147 00:10:21,580 --> 00:10:26,540 restore order without personally stepping into the fight if this alliance holds WB suddenly 148 00:10:26,540 --> 00:10:31,220 has to begins of a very different bloodline heading towards the fall bottom line in this 149 00:10:31,220 --> 00:10:34,420 all you got the nine four six they may have finally created the one thing nobody else 150 00:10:34,420 --> 00:10:39,880 could a reason for solos echo and the usos to fight on the same side again so dr. 151 00:10:39,880 --> 00:10:44,500 try I ask you this question is this only a temperature against the nine four six or 152 00:10:44,500 --> 00:10:53,140 the beginning of a real bloodline reunion I don't know what to do with a full fleshy 153 00:10:53,140 --> 00:10:58,300 union because I still go back to like they really had something going with solo when 154 00:10:58,300 --> 00:11:02,260 cell was coming down to the crowd doing the pupus and all that stuff like the crowd was 155 00:11:02,260 --> 00:11:07,220 really into that and I think they know they have something there when they're ready to pull 156 00:11:07,220 --> 00:11:14,300 that trigger so I'm gonna air on the side of it's kind of a temporary thing but I'm with 157 00:11:14,300 --> 00:11:19,460 you I do think that somehow Jacob ends up with the nine four six and the four shadowing 158 00:11:19,460 --> 00:11:24,060 has been there for it to happen because as much as I like Royce keys like even in the 159 00:11:24,060 --> 00:11:27,300 even when they were ball on Smackdown and he was talking to Jacob backstage he was still 160 00:11:27,300 --> 00:11:33,540 like he always looked up to Jacob so it makes sense for Jacob to be the unhinged crazy leader 161 00:11:33,540 --> 00:11:39,780 of nine four six and then you know whether it's the bloodline Roman and solo against them 162 00:11:39,780 --> 00:11:46,980 right now or you know some kind of you know other mixed motion in sense I just don't think 163 00:11:46,980 --> 00:11:50,900 I think solo at some point you know like the solos the guy that took out Roman with the 164 00:11:50,900 --> 00:11:55,380 Simone spike not too long ago and really didn't get Roman still really hasn't got his come 165 00:11:55,380 --> 00:12:01,660 up and on solo for doing that so at some point that alliance is going to have to end because 166 00:12:01,660 --> 00:12:06,020 solo's got a challenge Roman for the top spot in the in the bloodline or in the family 167 00:12:06,020 --> 00:12:07,020 as well. 168 00:12:07,020 --> 00:12:10,500 See and that's the part I was going to bring up because that is the problem I'm having 169 00:12:10,500 --> 00:12:16,820 right now is is the solos a koapart because they ran that angle several weeks ago what 170 00:12:16,820 --> 00:12:20,580 almost like eight weeks ago coming out of Somerslam where solo was supposed to acknowledge 171 00:12:20,580 --> 00:12:26,100 Roman rejoin them and then says no pairs up with with LA night and then you would figure we're 172 00:12:26,100 --> 00:12:31,780 off to the races and then they added the nine four six to this entire mix that to me is with 173 00:12:31,780 --> 00:12:38,380 all I know disrespect but it's going to come off as disrespect very a W-ish where like it's 174 00:12:38,380 --> 00:12:42,580 wait what how did we get here why are they doing this now wasn't it that long ago he turned 175 00:12:42,580 --> 00:12:48,100 his back on them and now he's he's okay they're back together like how are we doing this so 176 00:12:48,100 --> 00:12:57,220 that's the part where it's like I don't know not my favorite thing in regards to this so yeah 177 00:12:57,220 --> 00:13:01,140 I mean there's a couple of there's there's a couple of storylines going on where they've got 178 00:13:01,140 --> 00:13:07,700 kind of big holes in them where I'm like it's kind of like there's it's a little bit Vince in a way 179 00:13:07,700 --> 00:13:12,900 where it's like you know Vince always had that had the mindset that wrestling fans had short-term 180 00:13:12,900 --> 00:13:20,420 memory and reality wrestling fans have maybe the longest memory of any fandom out there and it's 181 00:13:20,420 --> 00:13:25,860 like like you said the thing was so that was like well wait you all just treat him like you know 182 00:13:25,860 --> 00:13:31,940 like a slave for lack of a term eight weeks ago they didn't basically made him kiss the feet of 183 00:13:31,940 --> 00:13:36,340 Roman Reigns in a lot of ways but then you know he turned against you and then you went back and 184 00:13:36,340 --> 00:13:43,940 forth to the Usos against him and LA night but now all's forgiven you know Becky Lynch was talking trash 185 00:13:43,940 --> 00:13:50,100 about the audience in her few with AJ Lee goes away it comes back and then like everything's fine you 186 00:13:50,100 --> 00:13:57,860 got Johnny Gargato laid on boxes for almost a year and then there's no real reason he's playing 187 00:13:57,860 --> 00:14:04,340 either a why he was on the boxes or be just the fact that CM Punk gave a title shot and now we're 188 00:14:04,340 --> 00:14:09,620 back to Johnny wrestling like it's like that nine months did not excuse five minutes like there there are 189 00:14:09,620 --> 00:14:16,180 some kind of weird holes in some of these storylines the writing in each particular storyline has 190 00:14:16,180 --> 00:14:22,340 been really what well done but when we have these things this is what you and I raved about triple H 191 00:14:22,340 --> 00:14:28,020 back when triple H took over as he was tightening up or you know getting getting rid of the loose threads 192 00:14:28,020 --> 00:14:33,300 in some of the older storylines and some of the current ones and right now it's like wait that's a big 193 00:14:33,300 --> 00:14:38,340 hole that still needs to get filled somehow and I'm sure they will at some point because people like us 194 00:14:38,340 --> 00:14:43,940 complain about and then I'm sure they'll do like some throw a throw away line in their mind to 195 00:14:43,940 --> 00:14:51,700 address it but it's like no no no if you want us to be a storyline based wrestling show you need to 196 00:14:51,700 --> 00:14:59,620 make sure that your storyline has all their eyes dotted and teased crossed as we go forward otherwise 197 00:14:59,620 --> 00:15:04,420 you do end up in those AEW plot holes where you're like okay I thought those guys hate each other 198 00:15:04,420 --> 00:15:08,980 wait they're now wait they're a bad guy now when it happened like you get those kind of moments but 199 00:15:08,980 --> 00:15:13,860 the wrestling's fantastic so that makes up for you yes yeah no I I hear you and I agree with you 200 00:15:13,860 --> 00:15:18,180 completely and that's the thing where that part of the storyline I'm I'm just not the biggest fan 201 00:15:18,180 --> 00:15:24,580 of and that makes me believe that there were some changes made storyline wise like that maybe they 202 00:15:24,580 --> 00:15:31,540 decided to go off in this direction of the 946 developing this new group having OTM come in there all 203 00:15:31,540 --> 00:15:37,220 three members of OTM join up with Royce Keyes make him heal because he was a baby face at summer slam 204 00:15:37,220 --> 00:15:45,300 teaming with LA Knight and and solos a koa against the bloodline and then now he's the bad guy 205 00:15:45,300 --> 00:15:50,260 and the bloodlines the good guy I mean there was a period of time coming out of summer slam that 206 00:15:50,260 --> 00:15:55,620 there were reports that Roman was a full-fledged heal well Roman's not a full-fledged heal if the 946 207 00:15:55,620 --> 00:16:01,620 are the heals in this entire thing so and then the Jacob storylines very interesting 208 00:16:01,620 --> 00:16:08,900 it leads me to believe dr. Tray that maybe things got moved up or there was a direction change 209 00:16:08,900 --> 00:16:14,580 because that's the only thing I could think of because it was a ball of your yarn to where we got 210 00:16:14,580 --> 00:16:18,420 for the storyline to kick off and there's obviously still some stuff that people like you and I 211 00:16:18,420 --> 00:16:24,020 are hung up on but for the most part if you remove that I think everybody's like really sinking their 212 00:16:24,020 --> 00:16:30,020 teeth into how good of a storyline this has been yeah I mean even the storyline wise you look at go like 213 00:16:30,020 --> 00:16:34,660 well Jacob lost the matches to Roma which is why he had to acknowledge him as a tribal chief and 214 00:16:34,660 --> 00:16:40,180 join the bloodline but now he could jump back out well then why did he have to join the begin with 215 00:16:40,180 --> 00:16:45,140 like it was there are some things in there where you're like well why was he like is it just he 216 00:16:45,140 --> 00:16:52,260 was just trying to infiltrate the bloodline to get to this point but you know I just I just hope at 217 00:16:52,260 --> 00:16:57,380 some point whether it's a Michael calls sit down interview or something when this stuff starts to 218 00:16:57,380 --> 00:17:04,100 flesh itself out more we get some we get some sand to to fill in the holes you know we get some dirt 219 00:17:04,100 --> 00:17:07,860 to fill in the holes to kind of makes where this all makes sense because you know for me I'm like 220 00:17:07,860 --> 00:17:12,340 I said I'm one of those guys I want my storyline to kind of make sense and have a good progression and 221 00:17:13,060 --> 00:17:19,620 if you fill it in I'm fine with it but don't leave a big gaping hole and just walk around it and 222 00:17:19,620 --> 00:17:25,540 have us pretend like it's not really there yeah no I agree it I would have thought that when they did 223 00:17:25,540 --> 00:17:34,420 the Jacob Roman storyline that this was supposed to be um happening come like WrestleMania but I 224 00:17:34,420 --> 00:17:41,060 think that they have bigger plans for WrestleMania and Saudi Arabia where they want to do Jacob and 225 00:17:41,060 --> 00:17:48,260 Roman maybe come rumble because I could see Jacob turns let's say at this Mondays Raw he returns and 226 00:17:48,260 --> 00:17:52,820 you know it's revealed as a leader of 946 and then I think they're going to keep Roman out of the 227 00:17:52,820 --> 00:17:58,260 storyline for a while because Roman needs to get ready for the crown jewel match in early November 228 00:17:58,260 --> 00:18:04,900 if they end up going to that show in Saudi Arabia and then you're building towards war games 229 00:18:04,900 --> 00:18:09,300 and then you don't have anything I don't believe there's any oh you've wrestled Paloosa in Australia 230 00:18:09,300 --> 00:18:13,700 so maybe they could do Jacob versus Roman there because I would imagine they'd want Roman there but 231 00:18:13,700 --> 00:18:20,420 that this to me just feels like a royal rumble match up between the both of them yeah but the other 232 00:18:20,420 --> 00:18:28,180 thing about that is you know like this would be Jacob's third shot of Roman and do you have Jacob 233 00:18:28,180 --> 00:18:33,780 lose three in a row to Roman and that's that to me also is because then you're kind of well we've 234 00:18:33,780 --> 00:18:38,100 made you're not afraid of putting the title on people as a blade right that is true but you know 235 00:18:38,100 --> 00:18:42,180 I mean if you're putting the title on Jacob but you know if you do it a rumble I mean you only have at 236 00:18:42,180 --> 00:18:46,980 that point 60 days to get it off of them to get it back on Roman if you want to do Roman in 237 00:18:46,980 --> 00:18:52,340 a Hobo a WrestleMania hey what would they do with Cody had an intermania they put the title on 238 00:18:52,340 --> 00:18:58,340 Drew and we were all like what are the how are they going with this yes true I mean it it but I 239 00:18:58,340 --> 00:19:03,860 just don't see them doing a Roman Jacob rematch on raw three weeks later to put think the belt off of 240 00:19:04,500 --> 00:19:08,340 and but then again I saw a great interview with John Cena somebody asked John Cena about the money 241 00:19:08,340 --> 00:19:12,660 the bank match with LA night and Roman reigns and if he thinks they could pull the trigger and put the 242 00:19:12,660 --> 00:19:20,500 the belt on LA night he was like this current leadership group is more open to listening to the 243 00:19:20,500 --> 00:19:25,860 audience and making quick decisions and quick adjustments and it may even happen during a match at 244 00:19:25,860 --> 00:19:30,180 times where they'll like right and you know they'll ring into the referee and they'll say hey 245 00:19:30,180 --> 00:19:32,660 tell the guys we're switching that we're switching it we're going the other way 246 00:19:33,460 --> 00:19:38,740 just because the crowds that's how the crowd feels so you're right they could they could put the 247 00:19:38,740 --> 00:19:44,260 belt on Jacob at Royal Rumble and then turn around and have Roman take it away a month later heading 248 00:19:44,260 --> 00:19:48,500 into WrestleMania yeah no I could totally see it right now the way things are going I think you know 249 00:19:48,500 --> 00:19:52,660 there's a little bit of a hot potato going on smack down right now with the world title and that makes 250 00:19:52,660 --> 00:19:58,500 things very interesting very exciting from a fan standpoint um Dr. Tre last question here 251 00:19:58,500 --> 00:20:02,660 just putting solo back besides Jimmy and Jay making more important again after months of being 252 00:20:02,660 --> 00:20:05,460 isolated um 253 00:20:05,460 --> 00:20:17,460 no I don't like that's a good question because to me I wanted to see solo on his own I wanted him to 254 00:20:17,460 --> 00:20:23,940 kind of do his own thing see how the crowd responded to him see if it worked and now it may be 255 00:20:23,940 --> 00:20:28,660 solo is back in the family but he's rebellious solo like you see it you'll see him behind the 256 00:20:28,660 --> 00:20:33,380 yourselves mocking them or something and then it says we like well Roman brought me back so I'm 257 00:20:33,380 --> 00:20:39,140 untouchable you know like that kind of attitude and that might be more fun but otherwise to me it 258 00:20:39,140 --> 00:20:43,620 feels like the same thing they did with Jay Jay was the top guy on raw Jay was getting all the all the 259 00:20:43,620 --> 00:20:48,660 love Roman comes back and now he's back in attack team with his brother and it kind of in a sense 260 00:20:48,660 --> 00:20:53,460 is minimized everything he's done the last two years so I just think you have to be careful 261 00:20:54,180 --> 00:20:59,220 putting somebody like solo back in with the bloodline and push him down to be in the fourth guy in 262 00:20:59,220 --> 00:21:05,700 the group because you know I mean the guy was moving merchandise with his pew-pew shirts just 263 00:21:05,700 --> 00:21:13,220 new a month ago so I'm just really really like cautious about this pairing because I really want to 264 00:21:13,220 --> 00:21:17,940 see what solo could do on his own it's interesting it is very very interesting and it's funny that 265 00:21:17,940 --> 00:21:22,020 they're saving it for after money the bank and not at money the bank so that kind of tells you 266 00:21:22,020 --> 00:21:26,260 that I think that this is going to be a major storyline when we sit down here next week to recap money 267 00:21:26,260 --> 00:21:33,220 the bank as well as look back at last week's edition of Monday Night Raw. Dr. Tres switching gears over 268 00:21:33,220 --> 00:21:39,540 to AEW we had Will Ospreay at AW Grand Slam France he retained the AW World Championship against 269 00:21:39,540 --> 00:21:44,580 Kazuchko Akata Ospreay spent years chasing Akata and carrying the history of the rivalry from New Japan 270 00:21:44,580 --> 00:21:50,580 he survived the rainmaker and finally put Akata away with the hit and blade this matters to Will 271 00:21:50,580 --> 00:21:56,100 Ospreay because he beat John Moxley at all out that was very very important beating Akata may have 272 00:21:56,100 --> 00:22:02,020 meant even more to his story of who Ospreay has become these are two wrestlers Moxley and Akata 273 00:22:02,020 --> 00:22:06,500 who represented obstacles from different errors of his career and Ospreay has now beaten both as 274 00:22:06,500 --> 00:22:11,540 AW World Champion AW is increasingly presenting the promotion around Ospreay rather than simply 275 00:22:11,540 --> 00:22:16,420 featuring him as one of the several elite wrestlers the question always is where does this go Ospreay 276 00:22:16,420 --> 00:22:22,020 now head towards Russell Dream in the clockwork carnage World Championship match the question is no 277 00:22:22,020 --> 00:22:27,380 longer whether he can be AW's top star it is whether the title reign can become the defining run of 278 00:22:27,380 --> 00:22:33,220 his career bottom line Ospreay beating Akata feels like the final piece of AW officially making him the 279 00:22:33,220 --> 00:22:39,780 center piece of the company so I ask you this Dr. Tres has Will Ospreay now and questionally become 280 00:22:39,780 --> 00:22:49,380 AW's ace I'll say on the baby face side I still feel like he's the guy we're building around he's the 281 00:22:49,380 --> 00:22:56,020 direction the company wants to go I will say when you have an MJF on your roster you know at any time 282 00:22:56,020 --> 00:23:01,940 you can switch to MJF and go a different route you still have Mox you still have Swarve you still 283 00:23:01,940 --> 00:23:08,420 have Kenny you still have Joe so there's a really really good upper crust of the card to kind of 284 00:23:09,220 --> 00:23:14,100 fill in if you need to but I do think the direction they're going is like hey we're building it around this 285 00:23:14,100 --> 00:23:21,140 handsome European guy that the crowd loves ladies love you can put them on the posters you can 286 00:23:21,140 --> 00:23:25,780 put them on TV like that's the kind of baby face you want to build around I do think that's kind of 287 00:23:25,780 --> 00:23:31,300 the direction they're headed yeah no I agree with it as well I've really really enjoyed Will Ospreay's 288 00:23:31,300 --> 00:23:36,500 booking since becoming AW World Champion and I think it's a blueprint to to help him make a star 289 00:23:37,140 --> 00:23:41,380 and I think Will Ospreay is in line right now for for maybe being the wrestler of the year in 290 00:23:41,380 --> 00:23:46,580 2026's we'll be looking at that and like I don't know eight to nine weeks from now which is absurd to say 291 00:23:46,580 --> 00:23:52,900 so Dr. Trash you what does AW need to do next to keep this championship rain feeling this important 292 00:23:52,900 --> 00:24:00,260 create some doubt like I don't know if you're heading into that match with Okada like I didn't 293 00:24:00,260 --> 00:24:05,220 really feel like the title is in danger you know and if you're building this guy up you have to create 294 00:24:05,220 --> 00:24:10,980 obstacles for him to overcome that seem insurmountable at times so you know like the match with 295 00:24:10,980 --> 00:24:17,460 Moxley everybody got involved so at times in that match you felt like it was in doubt but you know 296 00:24:17,460 --> 00:24:22,660 the match with Okada and the Don Calis family doesn't really get involved and I'm like no there needs 297 00:24:22,660 --> 00:24:29,940 to be elements of danger to the success of this title run like you need some kind of story there 298 00:24:29,940 --> 00:24:36,420 it cannot always just be two great wrestlers going ahead to head sometimes you need a reason for the 299 00:24:36,420 --> 00:24:41,540 anyway where's your like the Cody stuff you need a reason for the baby face to change you need a 300 00:24:41,540 --> 00:24:47,700 reason for the baby face to adapt and survive and move forward otherwise you end up in like super 301 00:24:47,700 --> 00:24:53,700 scene about an airbag is bored with it so there needs to be some risk added into this title run 302 00:24:53,700 --> 00:25:01,620 now this six person clockwork carnage match is that because it's always an excuse to kind of pull 303 00:25:01,620 --> 00:25:06,820 the title off the champ and put it on somebody else that the champ really taking the loss but when it 304 00:25:06,820 --> 00:25:12,020 comes to one on one stuff we need some storyline we need some deepness we need some some doubt 305 00:25:12,020 --> 00:25:17,780 to can he survive this upcoming match because the story is telling us it's at risk and I think 306 00:25:17,780 --> 00:25:23,860 that's the one thing he's lacked with baby face champions over the last four years is they don't 307 00:25:23,860 --> 00:25:28,260 really ever feel like they're at risk and when they lose you're like what like Joe beating Hangman 308 00:25:28,260 --> 00:25:33,460 page no none of us picked that one it just kind of came out of that field it's like you need some 309 00:25:33,460 --> 00:25:38,580 stories so that way when something like that happens it makes sense to the audience and doesn't 310 00:25:38,580 --> 00:25:43,780 discourage us from watching no I'm with you I think that makes a ton of sense because the last 311 00:25:43,780 --> 00:25:50,180 thing that you do is you if you lose the viewers trust it affects how they view what you're putting out 312 00:25:50,180 --> 00:25:55,860 on television each and every week so it's extremely important that you you don't lose that trust from 313 00:25:55,860 --> 00:26:01,220 your viewers right now and the way that they're building up will us brain and and making this important 314 00:26:01,220 --> 00:26:07,540 is is going to be very very important for like a better terms but I would say like what is it now 315 00:26:07,540 --> 00:26:12,740 almost two months in to his world championship reign I love the way that they're booking will 316 00:26:12,740 --> 00:26:21,380 us probably he went from like like badass heel assassin to goofy baby face to like badass baby face 317 00:26:21,380 --> 00:26:25,780 and that's what they needed I love that they're like kind of leaning a little bit more into him being 318 00:26:25,780 --> 00:26:31,860 the ace of the company versus just another world champion so I hope this run continues and I look 319 00:26:31,860 --> 00:26:36,900 forward to this clockwork carnage match it's it's a little convoluted to understand but once you 320 00:26:36,900 --> 00:26:41,380 kind of take a good look at it's like okay this could be this could be interesting this could be 321 00:26:41,380 --> 00:26:47,860 interesting I'm laughing because did I was not once begging for the the scramble match to come back 322 00:26:47,860 --> 00:26:53,220 to Smackdown yeah then this is it basically it's elements of it's a lot of elements of the old scramble 323 00:26:53,220 --> 00:26:58,100 match so I'm like oh well maybe maybe WWE doesn't listen to so much but a WWE might be tight you know 324 00:26:58,100 --> 00:27:02,900 might be listening in every so often into our show yeah they got to be doing something that like it 325 00:27:02,900 --> 00:27:07,300 makes it I mean put a match up on YouTube or something so I could find out how this actually 326 00:27:07,300 --> 00:27:11,460 works because that's like the worst thing that could happen is like wait how am I following this so 327 00:27:11,460 --> 00:27:17,060 you go from clockwork carnage to money in the bank which is this Saturday from the Smoothie King 328 00:27:17,060 --> 00:27:21,300 Center New Orleans Louisiana doctorate we certainly know how that match goes it's a latter match with 329 00:27:21,300 --> 00:27:25,860 a briefcase on the top you get the briefcase you can cash in the championship at any given time 330 00:27:25,860 --> 00:27:30,260 throughout the year for a championship title shot on the men's and women's side even though 331 00:27:30,260 --> 00:27:36,340 that has been cashed in the past on the United States championship at one time which made no sense 332 00:27:36,340 --> 00:27:40,260 to me and all in Ethan Page's trying to do it on the inner compiled championship which with all do 333 00:27:40,260 --> 00:27:44,420 respect to those mid to your titles it's like I don't know if that pays as well as the world championship 334 00:27:44,420 --> 00:27:49,940 but nonetheless here we go money the bank streams Saturday at six Eastern three Pacific on ESPN 335 00:27:49,940 --> 00:27:56,420 unlimited or you could also watch it on Disney plus like I do WWE currently has five matches 336 00:27:56,420 --> 00:28:01,380 and out's included in two loaded money the bank ladder matches. Raw's biggest stories all feed 337 00:28:01,380 --> 00:28:05,140 directly into this card you got Roman Reigns versus LA Knight Stephanie Falker taking on both 338 00:28:05,140 --> 00:28:10,500 live Morgan and Becky Lynch and Oba Femi finally getting Branson Reed one on one. Let's look at the 339 00:28:10,500 --> 00:28:15,220 the full card here Dr. Trey we've got Oba Femi versus Branson Reed why this match matters you've 340 00:28:15,220 --> 00:28:20,260 got Reed in the vision repeatedly targeting Oba Oba finally gets Reed one on one after weeks of 341 00:28:20,260 --> 00:28:26,740 attack and tax and chaos if Oba sees if WWE sees Oba as a future center priest this is exactly the 342 00:28:26,740 --> 00:28:32,340 kind of match he should win decisively so Dr. Trey let's start with you who do you like in this one 343 00:28:32,340 --> 00:28:38,740 Oba Femi or Branson Reed well I've come to learn based on the last size event when we all said that 344 00:28:38,740 --> 00:28:45,300 Bron breaker really needs a win and he didn't get it that I'm not Oba is my new Brock Lesnar I'm not 345 00:28:45,300 --> 00:28:51,300 picking against Oba again until they prove me wrong so I'm taking Oba in this one I am taking Oba 346 00:28:51,300 --> 00:28:57,460 Femi as well so Oba Femi defeating Branson Reigns how we see it next match you're Stephanie Valkour 347 00:28:57,460 --> 00:29:01,860 defending the women's world championship against Becky Lynch and live Morgan of our 348 00:29:01,860 --> 00:29:06,580 Coral regain the championship from Morgan and Chilli with Becky serving as special guest referee 349 00:29:06,580 --> 00:29:10,740 both Morgan Lynch demanded a title shot their number one contenders match broke down on raw this 350 00:29:10,740 --> 00:29:15,380 past money and Valkour responded by asking to face both women in a triple threat match at money 351 00:29:15,380 --> 00:29:20,900 in the bank Dr. Trey I've had a tough one with this one but I feel like Liv Morgan retains the 352 00:29:20,900 --> 00:29:26,020 championship I think they just wanted to drop the title the Stephanie and Chilli to like basically 353 00:29:26,020 --> 00:29:30,740 give her that moment I don't foresee it being a long reign and I think Liv holding the championship 354 00:29:30,740 --> 00:29:35,460 while this feud with the two other women the baby faces and Palkour and Becky Lynch makes things 355 00:29:35,460 --> 00:29:39,060 more interesting so I'm going to take Liv Morgan to retain and become women's world champion again 356 00:29:39,060 --> 00:29:44,900 yeah I'm actually agree with you on this one I also don't know how I also know Stephanie is 357 00:29:44,900 --> 00:29:50,580 a hundred percent I think she might be about like 85 but the way she's dressed like when she came 358 00:29:50,580 --> 00:29:55,540 out like that oversized t-shirt and some like is she not does she not feel a hundred percent like 359 00:29:55,540 --> 00:30:02,740 that's typically not what women in WWE wear at any given time so I'm taking Liv as well 360 00:30:02,740 --> 00:30:07,940 I think like you said the title is just more about just where she was at the timing and everything else 361 00:30:07,940 --> 00:30:13,620 I think they move back to Liv as well all right so there you go both of us taking Liv Morgan 362 00:30:13,620 --> 00:30:20,340 let's get to the women's money the bank ladder match you've got JCJ versus Tiffany Stratton versus 363 00:30:20,340 --> 00:30:26,900 Lash legend Roxanne Perez Sol Rook and Lola Vice this field feels designed to create or reestablish 364 00:30:26,900 --> 00:30:33,060 a major player I think the establishment would be JC Lash Roxanne Sol and Lola a major player 365 00:30:33,060 --> 00:30:38,900 reestablishing would be Tiffany Tiffany Tiffany obviously has experience with winning money the 366 00:30:38,900 --> 00:30:43,860 bank can do for her Roxanne Sol Lola Lash and JC could all use the brief space as the biggest 367 00:30:43,860 --> 00:30:48,420 singles accomplishment of their WWE career Dr. Tray that should be a fun one who do you like in this 368 00:30:48,420 --> 00:30:55,940 match yeah so in all honesty I really have not given a ton of thought these matches because I've just 369 00:30:55,940 --> 00:30:59,460 been so busy with everything else in my life and all these are big store lines I was like 370 00:30:59,460 --> 00:31:06,740 damn this is like booking for WrestleMania season almost in a way so I'm picking off what I would do 371 00:31:06,740 --> 00:31:13,060 as far as a writer I'm picking Roxanne because if I pick Liv to get that title back Roxanne has the 372 00:31:13,060 --> 00:31:20,260 IC title Roxanne holding the money in the bank briefcase creates tension with Liv and Rock Hell because 373 00:31:20,260 --> 00:31:26,020 apparently you can cash in on either one of them and then if the judgment day turns against Roxanne 374 00:31:26,020 --> 00:31:31,620 prior to WrestleMania then you you Roxanne and Liv at WrestleMania and Bank Roxanne the 375 00:31:31,620 --> 00:31:36,180 Super Over Babyface so I'm taking Roxanne Perez because that's how I would write it if it was up to me 376 00:31:36,180 --> 00:31:41,620 yeah that's really interesting I have felt like up until you gave me your response that this is 377 00:31:41,620 --> 00:31:46,580 this match is being set up to like make Chelsea Green Paranoid I think a lot of people would point 378 00:31:46,580 --> 00:31:51,860 towards like maybe Tiffany Stratton in that and I think eventually Tiffany does turn on Chelsea 379 00:31:51,860 --> 00:31:58,020 but I don't think it's gonna be in the way of of caching the championship in so while I like 380 00:31:58,020 --> 00:32:07,060 your Roxanne Perez prediction a lot I'm actually gonna go with Lash Legend I think WWE see something 381 00:32:07,060 --> 00:32:15,460 in her they like her as an established star and I could see Lash Legend having a big 2027 she's 382 00:32:15,460 --> 00:32:20,020 one of the types that maybe didn't correlate well into the NXT brand but on the main roster she has 383 00:32:20,020 --> 00:32:24,900 really done a good job as someone that can be a major player and she's gotten so much better in the ring 384 00:32:24,900 --> 00:32:30,340 just like her fiancee Trick Williams has so I'm taking Lash Legend Dr. Trey is taking Roxanne 385 00:32:30,340 --> 00:32:36,340 Perez next match here is Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight 386 00:32:36,340 --> 00:32:40,020 has spent weeks telling Roman that he could beat him without the bloodline protecting him 387 00:32:40,020 --> 00:32:45,220 Roman spent raw managing the family crisis with a 946 but delivery put Solosako into next week's 388 00:32:45,220 --> 00:32:50,340 fight instead of stepping in himself that gives WWE a believable distraction without needing to make 389 00:32:50,340 --> 00:32:57,620 Knight feel secondary Dr. Trey you went first in the last one to me this is Roman Reigns so I'm 390 00:32:57,620 --> 00:33:04,020 taking Roman Reigns to retain yeah it's it's hard because I mean I'm sure you're kind of with 391 00:33:04,020 --> 00:33:08,900 me there's a part of it that really wants them to pull the trigger on LA Knight just because to shake 392 00:33:08,900 --> 00:33:15,540 things up on raw even more like we saw them doing on Smackdown but just like I said with Oba in my 393 00:33:15,540 --> 00:33:22,500 Brock comparison Roman's and I think like you basically have to shock me to pick against Roman Reigns 394 00:33:22,500 --> 00:33:28,180 so I am taking Roman Reigns to win this thing will all come to head with Roman and Oba fight because 395 00:33:28,180 --> 00:33:32,740 then I'll have to pick against one of them but right now I'm just on that it doesn't make sense to 396 00:33:32,740 --> 00:33:37,300 pick against Roman so I'll take Roman with the win yes really both of us taking Roman Reigns to get 397 00:33:37,300 --> 00:33:44,180 the victory here Dr. Trey and finally the men's money in the bank ladder match you've got CM Punk 398 00:33:44,180 --> 00:33:50,580 versus Kevin Owens versus Trick Williams versus Penta Javon Evans, Braun Breaker and Braun Breaker 399 00:33:50,580 --> 00:33:55,460 all in the men's money the bank ladder match this is the deepest match on the card Punk holding the 400 00:33:55,460 --> 00:33:59,380 briefcase would immediately put pressure on Sammy Zane Owens winning would keep him tied directly 401 00:33:59,380 --> 00:34:04,660 to the WWE Championship picture Braun Breaker winning could be the moment WWE officially launches him 402 00:34:04,660 --> 00:34:09,540 into the World title scene while Trick Williams Penta Javon Evans winning could instantly elevate 403 00:34:09,540 --> 00:34:15,380 someone into a completely different position Dr. Trey this is a this is a tough one to call so let's 404 00:34:15,380 --> 00:34:21,940 start with you my friend who do you like in this one I'm going with Punk just because I think it's 405 00:34:21,940 --> 00:34:27,300 the paranoid the Sammy paranoid about everybody out to get him is a lot more fun 406 00:34:28,180 --> 00:34:33,460 than maybe the Braun Breaker one to me what I think would be an obvious choice in a lot of ways but 407 00:34:33,460 --> 00:34:38,820 given the way the storylines are set up right now with the bloodline tied up with 946 it doesn't 408 00:34:38,820 --> 00:34:44,020 feel like the right time to pull the trigger on Braun Breaker and to me it came down to Punk 409 00:34:44,020 --> 00:34:50,260 Owens and I'm just going to take Punk because I think Punk holding the belt holds that paranoia over Sammy 410 00:34:50,260 --> 00:34:57,700 and then he can actually just like do the right thing and call his shot and call his match 411 00:34:57,700 --> 00:35:02,180 instead of trying to like the running cash in type things so I'll take Punk to win and hold 412 00:35:02,180 --> 00:35:06,900 mine the bank briefcase I'm going to take Kevin Owens I'm going to take Kevin Owens to win the 413 00:35:06,900 --> 00:35:13,140 briefcase I think him winning the championship over Sammy Zane is very plausible wouldn't be shocked 414 00:35:13,140 --> 00:35:19,780 if it happens sooner rather than later but I think like I feel like with the women's money the 415 00:35:19,780 --> 00:35:25,620 bank ladder match I think that this stays on the Smackdown side and I don't foresee them making 416 00:35:25,620 --> 00:35:30,660 trick pentadjavon Evans or Braun Breaker world champion anytime soon so I feel like it's going 417 00:35:30,660 --> 00:35:34,260 to happen to be more of an established star in Dodge Trea went with CM Punk so I'm going to go with 418 00:35:34,260 --> 00:35:40,740 Kevin Owens and those are our predictions for the men's money in the bank ladder match and we 419 00:35:40,740 --> 00:35:47,460 will recap and review everything all on next week's edition of SRTU with that said let's get a couple 420 00:35:47,460 --> 00:35:51,060 00:37:33,780 I think those are very very pure words that everybody should take into account and think about 439 00:37:33,780 --> 00:37:38,740 in their everyday life so without being said that is the
