Latest / The Paul Barron Crypto Show / Apple Declares WAR!🔥Trump & Fortnite Unite?🚨Yat Siu INTERVIEW

- 0:07Speaker 1: A lot is happening around the Apple ecosystem Fortnite, along
- 0:11Speaker 1: with many other things. Today we wanted to break down
- 0:13Speaker 1: all of this and how it's affecting crypto. My name
- 0:15Speaker 1: is Paul Berre. Welcome back into tech bath. Let's get
- 0:17Speaker 1: into it today. And of course, as you guys know,
- 0:19Speaker 1: we've had Yatsu from Animoka Brands on before and he
- 0:23Speaker 1: gave us some predictions. I want to show you the
- 0:25Speaker 1: video that kind of showcases what's happening now in the market.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 0:29Speaker 2: So why are we super bullish this year about gaming?
- 0:31Speaker 2: And so come back to the end of the year
- 0:33Speaker 2: and see if I'm right or wrong. One of them
- 0:34Speaker 2: is a launch of a Nintendo switch to and the
- 0:36Speaker 2: bigger event. If there's one game where the narrative of crypto, tokens,
- 0:41Speaker 2: meme coins, and set of games can come together, it
- 0:44Speaker 2: definitely would be GTA.
- 0:45Speaker 1: What the video game maker reported it's fourth quarter results
- 0:48Speaker 1: after the bill the stock we mentioned it's up sixty
- 0:51Speaker 1: percent year on year, But.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Everybody's focused on grand theft dollar six that out of
- 0:54Speaker 3: butt that seems like an am Well, it's pretty short delay.
- 0:57Speaker 3: It's less than six months. Rockstar Games is trying to
- 1:00Speaker 3: create the best thing anyone's ever seen in entertainment. That's
- 1:04Speaker 3: a tall order. We just launched the second trailer to
- 1:07Speaker 3: four hundred and seventy five million views in twenty four hours,
- 1:10Speaker 3: setting a new record the last record.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Have you played with it? Have you seen it? Is
- 1:17Speaker 4: it done? You don't still render? And how much of
- 1:21Speaker 4: these stays on the console?
- 1:23Speaker 3: Well, mobile is a fast growing part of our business.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And I know he's out there on the road out there,
- 1:29Speaker 1: so yeah too. We appreciate you jumping in today.
- 1:31Speaker 4: No, thank you for having me. It's always a pleasure
- 1:33Speaker 4: to be in your show.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You clearly outlined that the likelihood is the preparation for AI.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Are you still in this camp? Is that this is
- 1:42Speaker 1: the way it's going to happen six months? Do you
- 1:44Speaker 1: think they'll delay again? What are your thoughts?
- 1:46Speaker 5: So you know how these funny means out there people
- 1:48Speaker 5: are talking about how you know sort of a Jesus
- 1:51Speaker 5: will come to Earth before before the GTA would launch. However,
- 1:55Speaker 5: I don't actually think they'll delay it much much longer.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Part of the reason is it's this commercial as well.
- 2:00Speaker 5: I mean, at the end of the day, this is
- 2:02Speaker 5: probably one of the maybe the most delayed game in
- 2:05Speaker 5: history and terms of anticipation as well. But there is
- 2:08Speaker 5: something telling, which is the fact that people are still
- 2:10Speaker 5: buying GTA five, right so, and we shouldn't discount the
- 2:14Speaker 5: fact that the hype for GTA six is actually helping
- 2:17Speaker 5: GTA five as well, right so, so it's not like
- 2:19Speaker 5: they're like, oh, my goodness, you know, we need a
- 2:21Speaker 5: lunch this thing right now.
- 2:22Speaker 4: So the anticipation exactly, the anticipation is strong.
- 2:25Speaker 5: But the other thing is, you know, to straus Stelling's
- 2:27Speaker 5: point and the requirement of the quality of the game,
- 2:31Speaker 5: every every version of GTA has essentially surpassed its predecessor.
- 2:35Speaker 5: And with AI, I mean, that's the other thing. You know,
- 2:38Speaker 5: we know that Take two has taken out specific patents
- 2:40Speaker 5: around around around essentially AI in particular for GTA. So
- 2:45Speaker 5: we're going to see some very cool, interesting things and
- 2:47Speaker 5: if there's one company that can pull it off with
- 2:49Speaker 5: the audience and with the revenue size, because one of
- 2:51Speaker 5: the one of the problems that we've had in gaming
- 2:53Speaker 5: AI broadly is the cost of running it and and
- 2:57Speaker 5: so you need a game that's got enough heft in size.
- 3:00Speaker 5: And then there's the other thing, which is that you know,
- 3:02Speaker 5: GTA six will probably push pricing closer to one hundred dollars,
- 3:06Speaker 5: maybe even more, depending what's happening. Right When we first
- 3:09Speaker 5: spoke about it at your show, Nintendo Switch two wasn't
- 3:13Speaker 5: really part of the major narrative yet because Mario Kart,
- 3:17Speaker 5: you know, we didn't expect that Marinkart was going to
- 3:19Speaker 5: charge ninety dollars for the physical copy and the switch.
- 3:24Speaker 5: The switch to sold out right it's completely sold out.
- 3:27Speaker 5: So it just kind of indicates that I think there's
- 3:29Speaker 5: probably a lot more price flexibility than the market things,
- 3:31Speaker 5: which means that if you're launching GTA six next year, maybe.
- 3:35Speaker 4: You could go on ten hundred and twenty. I don't know,
- 3:37Speaker 4: but it's bush.
- 3:38Speaker 1: The big news of course this week right now is
- 3:40Speaker 1: the continued battle between Fortnite and Apple. Apple Akin has
- 3:45Speaker 1: blocked Fortnite's submission so they can't release to the US
- 3:48Speaker 1: App Store or the Epic Game Store for iOS in
- 3:51Speaker 1: the European Union. So this is an issue right now
- 3:54Speaker 1: when you look at that, including a lot of things
- 3:57Speaker 1: that are happening right now, these are games that are
- 4:00Speaker 1: actually kind of hijacking the Fortnite concept inside the Apple
- 4:04Speaker 1: App Store, which are basically kind of fake Fortnite games,
- 4:08Speaker 1: but Apple is approving those kinds of submissions. What do
- 4:12Speaker 1: you make of all of this issue that Fortnite and
- 4:14Speaker 1: Apple are into right now?
- 4:16Speaker 5: First of all, you know, Tim Sweetey and Epic is
- 4:20Speaker 5: doing the good fight. And in a way you probably
- 4:23Speaker 5: might recall our own story.
- 4:24Speaker 4: You know, we got.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Completely platformed by Apple, but we're much smaller company back
- 4:27Speaker 5: in the day.
- 4:28Speaker 4: We're talking about twenty twelve, and.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I think it's just you know, it's like it's like
- 4:33Speaker 5: you upset the king, so the king basically does things
- 4:37Speaker 5: that kings do.
- 4:38Speaker 4: And I think this is part of the issue.
- 4:39Speaker 5: And even after this judgment, right, just imagine, right, just
- 4:42Speaker 5: even after this judgment and where the judge was like, hey,
- 4:46Speaker 5: this is contempt of court, you've got to open up.
- 4:48Speaker 5: So then they ended up opening up the payment rails.
- 4:50Speaker 5: And you know, we experimented on this, right, so we
- 4:52Speaker 5: had one of our studios with Crazy Events Heroes put
- 4:55Speaker 5: them essentially a payment system, you know, circumventing the thirty percent,
- 5:00Speaker 5: you know, because apparently it's allowed now using the Tower
- 5:03Speaker 5: token as a way to sort of purchase you know,
- 5:05Speaker 5: basically and use it inside the game, and lo and
- 5:07Speaker 5: behold it was approved. So obviously that works, right, But
- 5:10Speaker 5: of course the reason why that happened is because of Epic.
- 5:13Speaker 5: It is unfortunately, you know, I wouldn't say it's necessarily
- 5:16Speaker 5: even just a business decision, and sometimes it's also a
- 5:18Speaker 5: very human decision, like we can't necessarily think of it
- 5:20Speaker 5: just purely as this. You know, it's like it feels personal,
- 5:23Speaker 5: you know what I mean? So it probably is personal
- 5:25Speaker 5: in some ways. From from an Apple from an Apple perspective,
- 5:28Speaker 5: Do I think that Fortnite is going to be permanently banned?
- 5:32Speaker 5: And no, I don't think so because obviously eventually that
- 5:35Speaker 5: after release it. But are they going to make it painful?
- 5:37Speaker 4: I think so?
- 5:38Speaker 5: But I'd be interested to see to the extent that
- 5:40Speaker 5: Epic is willing to share, Like what are the reasons
- 5:43Speaker 5: they give, you know, like what violations of the App
- 5:45Speaker 5: Store have you done here?
- 5:46Speaker 4: Or what issues do you have there?
- 5:47Speaker 5: So they'll find many reasons to delay when you think
- 5:49Speaker 5: about the sec before with tokens.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So they put up a rule, does it have to
- 5:54Speaker 4: make sense? Not entirely?
- 5:56Speaker 5: Do most people comply even though it doesn't make sense? Yes,
- 5:59Speaker 5: because they obviously be in the good graces and you
- 6:01Speaker 5: kind of have the situation as well. Except the only
- 6:03Speaker 5: thing is that the Apple regulator so to speak, in
- 6:06Speaker 5: the App Store is not independent, right It is obviously
- 6:08Speaker 5: very much acting in self interest, which is why I
- 6:11Speaker 5: think this whole thing about antitrust is becoming so much
- 6:14Speaker 5: more relevant when it comes to the App Store because
- 6:16Speaker 5: it's not independent.
- 6:17Speaker 1: The review team should be free to kind of review
- 6:20Speaker 1: all the submitted apps promptly kind of and then give
- 6:23Speaker 1: them at least some sort of alignment as what's happening
- 6:26Speaker 1: other than being weaponized by senior management, which to your point,
- 6:29Speaker 1: it looks like it's happening right now. This was another
- 6:32Speaker 1: issue right here that I think is it may affect
- 6:35Speaker 1: more than Fortnite. And this is kind of interesting because
- 6:38Speaker 1: I want to showcase something. This of course, was an
- 6:40Speaker 1: example of transactions in this app. You'll see that little
- 6:44Speaker 1: if you're watching on the audio side, jump over to YouTube,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but you'll see that little notice there. And then now
- 6:50Speaker 1: what's happening is this is going further into making it
- 6:53Speaker 1: even more scary when someone's getting ready to make a purchase.
- 6:57Speaker 1: So that just seems demonic to me. When you look
- 6:59Speaker 1: at how Apple is putting these brands in these labels
- 7:04Speaker 1: on apps. Do you think, yeah, su, that Apple is
- 7:07Speaker 1: ever going to kind of get over this.
- 7:09Speaker 5: No, yeah, I don't think Apple itself is going to
- 7:12Speaker 5: get over this, because it's it's you know, on the platform.
- 7:15Speaker 4: They're going to set the rules.
- 7:17Speaker 5: So now they're saying, well, we'll open it up, but
- 7:18Speaker 5: we're going to give warnings that we think are appropriate.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Right And by the way, this is this is what
- 7:23Speaker 4: Facebook did much earlier.
- 7:25Speaker 5: If you basically click through on Facebook, it says, oh,
- 7:28Speaker 5: you're leaving Facebook, well, just beware of all the phishing
- 7:32Speaker 5: and the scams and all the problems that you might
- 7:34Speaker 5: have because the internet is a scary place, right.
- 7:37Speaker 4: I mean, that's basically what they're doing.
- 7:39Speaker 5: You also have to be very very skilled at behavioral science,
- 7:43Speaker 5: basically marketing psychology at work.
- 7:45Speaker 4: One could argue it's a kind of market manipulation.
- 7:48Speaker 5: You know, behavioral science has not yet found its way
- 7:51Speaker 5: into regulation.
- 7:52Speaker 4: It doesn't exist, right, So I don't.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Think this is going to be something that will change
- 7:57Speaker 5: anytime soon, except if the user behavior starts to be
- 8:00Speaker 5: custom to it. And I would argue that there's a
- 8:02Speaker 5: very strong incentive, right, which is to say, hey, look,
- 8:05Speaker 5: you know what if I do it outside of the
- 8:07Speaker 5: App Store, I'm going to end up I'm going to
- 8:10Speaker 5: end up paying less or I get other benefits for it.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Then that's an incentive and eventually you'll trust that as well. Like,
- 8:16Speaker 5: for instance, you know, if I if I were able
- 8:18Speaker 5: to purchase something on Amazon, you know, and it's a
- 8:21Speaker 5: exertain link, you know, do you does it user care that?
- 8:23Speaker 5: Oh he's going to a third party site that's dangerous,
- 8:26Speaker 5: that's called Amazon.
- 8:27Speaker 4: No, it's gonna be okay because he trusts Amazon already.
- 8:30Speaker 5: So I think, I think it won't work for everything,
- 8:32Speaker 5: but it will work obviously for it will work obviously
- 8:35Speaker 5: for the smaller companies as a way to distract them,
- 8:37Speaker 5: because detract them because obviously people will will be scared
- 8:41Speaker 5: of that.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, how many companies with animoca right now from the
- 8:44Speaker 1: app side of things, are you guys building within the
- 8:47Speaker 1: Apple ecosystem?
- 8:49Speaker 5: You know, I would say probably easily fifty to sixty companies.
- 8:52Speaker 4: So we have five hundred seventy three portfolios.
- 8:54Speaker 5: But you know, so let's call it roughly ten percent
- 8:56Speaker 5: of them are doing stuff on the app store, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 5: like the open seas and so on. They have obviously,
- 9:00Speaker 5: you know they've got like marketplaces. Now, do they have
- 9:03Speaker 5: the kid to do more of them want to do
- 9:06Speaker 5: in the epistore? Yes, But you know, when the rules
- 9:08Speaker 5: continue to be traconian, it's kind of not worth their effort.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Right because it's a little bit like a waste of time.
- 9:14Speaker 5: And a lot more people do stuff on Google because
- 9:16Speaker 5: of the ability to sideload, and so that's that's something
- 9:20Speaker 5: that that because Google can't stop that, right and and
- 9:23Speaker 5: Google has been in essence a lot more open and
- 9:27Speaker 5: flexible around that in comparison to Apple.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to jump to the clip about Fortnite
- 9:32Speaker 1: and the release that they were getting ready to drop,
- 9:35Speaker 1: because this gets back to the whole strategy around this,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and this of course was Darth Vader AI. We'll kind
- 9:41Speaker 1: of bring this back home here in a second, but
- 9:42Speaker 1: let me play this clip.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Darth Vader choders e.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Wait, can you hear me?
- 9:49Speaker 4: Hold while to talk?
- 9:50Speaker 6: Hello, speak plainly, nick a thirty. Let this victory resonate
- 9:55Speaker 6: across the metaverse.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Right, come on, drop alike to respect Darth.
- 9:58Speaker 6: Vader Ninja, your fascination with fleeting trends is curious a transformation.
- 10:07Speaker 6: Show me you can control that power. The force requires
- 10:10Speaker 6: more than mere screaming.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Are you allowed to see any bad words?
- 10:14Speaker 6: I am allowed to speak the truth. Ev I simply
- 10:17Speaker 6: choose not to wallow in crude expressions.
- 10:19Speaker 4: What freaking fucking food is that doth made? Tell me freaking.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Fucking does not become a common thug?
- 10:31Speaker 3: Made him sweat?
- 10:33Speaker 1: All right, So that's a good a good dabble into AI.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Can you imagine? Yeah, so what that's gonna look like
- 10:38Speaker 1: at g D A six.
- 10:39Speaker 5: It's gonna be crazy, it's gonna be amazing, it's gonna
- 10:42Speaker 5: be super exciting.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Yeah, I have a deal.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It's been a big deal for Apple to go in
- 10:46Speaker 1: and kind of put a little bit of a body
- 10:47Speaker 1: check on Fortnite with this release.
- 10:49Speaker 5: And again, this is the whole point, which is that,
- 10:51Speaker 5: you know, do we think objectively that the release that
- 10:56Speaker 5: this is something that would be harmful to the Apple
- 10:58Speaker 5: user or that would be detracting to the experience, And
- 11:01Speaker 5: the answer is of course no, right, I mean, people
- 11:03Speaker 5: love it profanity aside, which obviously they patch that up
- 11:07Speaker 5: right because they oh shit, actually, Darth Vader can square
- 11:09Speaker 5: an issue here.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Right, So basically they patched it up, but there's a
- 11:14Speaker 4: lot of fun in there. People don't take that seriously.
- 11:16Speaker 5: They're just more like, Wow, this is exciting, and it
- 11:18Speaker 5: kind of shows where's going and expect us to happen
- 11:20Speaker 5: with NPCs and game characters and all sorts of stuff.
- 11:23Speaker 4: And I think it kind of goes counter to sort.
- 11:26Speaker 5: Of what Apple is all about, which is they're supposed
- 11:28Speaker 5: to allow for experiences that delight to you, and these
- 11:30Speaker 5: are experiences that delight to you.
- 11:32Speaker 4: And they're blocking it.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Why not because it's in the best interest of the user,
- 11:37Speaker 5: but because it's basically in the supposed best interests of Apple,
- 11:41Speaker 5: which I would argue is not true because apple best
- 11:45Speaker 5: interest is customers.
- 11:46Speaker 4: So instead it's in the.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Interest of the king, as in he doesn't like it,
- 11:49Speaker 5: or you know, the management doesn't like it, and they
- 11:52Speaker 5: want to basically bring epic to heal. But I think
- 11:54Speaker 5: when you keep these practices up, eventually you will lose
- 11:57Speaker 5: market share if there's a better alternative. And I think
- 11:59Speaker 5: this is really I would say Apple do just doesn't
- 12:02Speaker 5: need to be careful about this because you know, when
- 12:04Speaker 5: the judgment came out and you know Apple was in
- 12:06Speaker 5: contempt of court, and you know, to circumvent to thirty percent.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Was there anyone that came to Apple's.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Defense, newbody, Yeah, crickets.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Crickets, absolutely right. And this is, by the way, how
- 12:19Speaker 5: empire is crumbled. And if you think of Apple like
- 12:21Speaker 5: a nation, as I sometimes sort of think of it,
- 12:23Speaker 5: it's kind of the beginning where it starts to lose
- 12:27Speaker 5: sort of people's uh sort of you know love. Remember
- 12:29Speaker 5: people loved Apple, right, I mean they were passionate about it.
- 12:32Speaker 5: And there was nobody who's on the app store who's
- 12:34Speaker 5: an Apple loyal Apple user saying damn go pay your
- 12:37Speaker 5: thirty percent.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Just shut up, none of that.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And now you know, with Solana Seeker getting ready to launch,
- 12:43Speaker 1: if we actually see a cryptophone coming out that's getting
- 12:46Speaker 1: ready to pop out there, it could be announced, you know,
- 12:48Speaker 1: here on Monday at the Solona event in New York.
- 12:51Speaker 1: But last thing I want to hit on, because you
- 12:53Speaker 1: hit I think a bullseye in the point that maybe
- 12:56Speaker 1: Apple has overstepped the boundary. I want to play one
- 12:59Speaker 1: more clip for you before I let you go see
- 13:01Speaker 1: what you think about this. Let's go to this one.
- 13:03Speaker 7: Sure, I had a little problem with Tim Cook yesterday
- 13:06Speaker 7: I said to him, Kimy and my friend I feated
- 13:08Speaker 7: you very good. You're coming here with five hundred billion doils.
- 13:10Speaker 7: But now I hear you're building all over India. I
- 13:12Speaker 7: don't want your building in India, Jim, I said, Jim, Look,
- 13:14Speaker 7: we've feared you really good. We put up with all
- 13:17Speaker 7: the plants that you're built in China. We're not interested
- 13:20Speaker 7: in your building in India.
- 13:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 13:22Speaker 1: So now you've got the potus going head to head
- 13:25Speaker 1: with the CEO of Apple and saying, listen, you're already
- 13:28Speaker 1: starting to shortchange. So is Apple getting rug pulled here?
- 13:32Speaker 1: You know, in a big way across a lot of
- 13:34Speaker 1: different areas.
- 13:37Speaker 5: So first of all, I would say Apple is getting
- 13:39Speaker 5: pulled everywhere. Of course, it's also a little bit of
- 13:42Speaker 5: question of vulnerabilities. Right, So take a look at someone
- 13:45Speaker 5: like Tesla. I mean, how many of the stuff. Of course,
- 13:47Speaker 5: Tesla produces a ton in you know, or in video.
- 13:50Speaker 5: These companies, of course, they produced stuff in America, but
- 13:53Speaker 5: they also produce a lot of stuff outside, right, I mean,
- 13:55Speaker 5: you know, whether it's chips or these things, they're not
- 13:57Speaker 5: all made in America.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Right, But what do they have?
- 14:00Speaker 5: They've got goodwill amongst the main communities of people that
- 14:03Speaker 5: are there, and so you deal with them. Apple's lost
- 14:05Speaker 5: that going after Apple for this is more than just hey,
- 14:11Speaker 5: we want you to build more in the US.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Sure.
- 14:13Speaker 5: I mean you know they won't be able to build
- 14:16Speaker 5: the manufacturing capabilities in the US as quickly as it
- 14:18Speaker 5: can elsewhere. I mean, remember, Tim Cook is a supply
- 14:21Speaker 5: chain guy. He was brought in this role because he
- 14:24Speaker 5: really understood the mechanics and logistics. So he knows the
- 14:26Speaker 5: realities of the fact that you can't do this overnight.
- 14:29Speaker 5: That's not to say that he won't invest in it,
- 14:31Speaker 5: is to say that realistically, you know, he can't do
- 14:34Speaker 5: this overnight. He has to find out the alternatives. But
- 14:37Speaker 5: what he has lost is sort of the diplomatic part
- 14:40Speaker 5: in terms of being able to sort of negotiate something
- 14:43Speaker 5: at least for now that he doesn't become a target
- 14:45Speaker 5: and Apple is not considered as America's good guy for
- 14:48Speaker 5: the time being, and therefore they could pick him an
- 14:51Speaker 5: easy target. Trump is also going to go after the
- 14:53Speaker 5: ones that he can go after that the ones that
- 14:57Speaker 5: are let's call it somewhat vulnerable to him US. It
- 15:00Speaker 5: is the richest company in America. You know, Apple should
- 15:03Speaker 5: have built an ecosystem fund. They should be funding stuff
- 15:06Speaker 5: up throughout America. Like if you're not, if you can't
- 15:08Speaker 5: put your manufacturing in America, at least freaking build schools
- 15:11Speaker 5: and help others and and like you know, put out
- 15:13Speaker 5: like a like a you know fund app store developers
- 15:16Speaker 5: and ecosystem you know, before they did their cash dividendy
- 15:19Speaker 5: imagine it took like five or ten percent of that
- 15:21Speaker 5: cash and made a seed and app ecosystem fund. You know,
- 15:25Speaker 5: all these developers would love them, and they would come
- 15:28Speaker 5: to the defense and they would support them.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Right, so they've completely missed that. They didn't understand it.
- 15:32Speaker 5: By the way, that's kind of why Animoca has over
- 15:34Speaker 5: five hundred seventy three portfolio companies and invest the process
- 15:37Speaker 5: because we believe in this idea of you know, sustainability
- 15:41Speaker 5: as an ecosystem. You know, we were willing to pay
- 15:43Speaker 5: thirty percent to the app store because that thirty percent
- 15:45Speaker 5: providers as value. We would have come to Apple's defense
- 15:48Speaker 5: and now nobody's coming.
- 15:49Speaker 4: For their defense.
- 15:50Speaker 5: And so it's a wake up call Apple. Apple needs
- 15:52Speaker 5: to understand they need to invest in their ecosystem.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Well, I hope that this is going to happen, and
- 15:56Speaker 1: we'll see if if Apple is going to be able
- 15:59Speaker 1: to weather this storm in the very near future. Yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 1: of course, we'll get you back on the show as
- 16:04Speaker 1: things start to heat up in this space, because obviously
- 16:05Speaker 1: we're going to see a gaming Bowl run. I think
- 16:07Speaker 1: not yet, but soon, I start.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Coming soon where where yeah, we're putting, we're putting, We're
- 16:13Speaker 5: putting our money where our mouth is on this one.
- 16:15Speaker 4: We believe that gaming will.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Have a pretty big, pretty big run, you know, because
- 16:20Speaker 5: of what's happening is switch pricing correction. I mean, and
- 16:22Speaker 5: of course GTA six. You know, one of the big
- 16:25Speaker 5: things that people just don't sometimes understand is that tokens
- 16:27Speaker 5: in particular are actually reflections of market pricing, just like
- 16:31Speaker 5: stocks and commodities, right, And so if the sentiment of
- 16:34Speaker 5: a sector goes up, so do the tokens, And so
- 16:38Speaker 5: we think the sentiment will actually increase partially because of pricing.
- 16:41Speaker 5: The other thing that a lot of people don't appreciate
- 16:43Speaker 5: is that gaming hasn't had price inflation for basically like
- 16:48Speaker 5: ten plus years. I mean, that's a crazy thing, right. Meanwhile,
- 16:51Speaker 5: as a money printer has just gone endlessly and cause
- 16:55Speaker 5: inflation everywhere. Gaming hasn't and so you know, I think
- 16:58Speaker 5: we're going to see all of that correct dover with
- 17:00Speaker 5: the next twelve months.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, listen, it's been great having you on the show.
