Speaker 1: deserve to get four in the College Football Playoff, but

Speaker 1: Football Playoff and possibly make a run. I think this

Speaker 1: is a team that's been overlooked all season, haven't got

Speaker 1: a whole lot of national notoriety, and so I like

Speaker 1: the Cyclones. We're going to talk more about that as

Speaker 1: we get going in the next couple of weeks. Both

Speaker 1: the Tigers that once least the Ones I like to watch,

Speaker 1: LSU and Clemson rolled last week. LSU's defense stepped up

Speaker 1: and really shut down Arkansas, which I was impressed with.

Speaker 1: The LSU defense is fascinating to me. It's changed dramatically

Speaker 1: as the season has gone on. You know, we opened

Speaker 1: up the season in Las Vegas. We're hoping Harold Perkins

Speaker 1: watched over the last few years. Last year he wasn't great,

Speaker 1: but that first year he was incredible. Well now he's gone,

Speaker 1: and so they really had to reshuffle and be find

Speaker 1: after that first USC game when they gave up all

Speaker 1: and so we just kind of thought, and this LSU

Speaker 1: team may not be that good. But what we're starting

Speaker 1: to see now is that defense with weeks and how

Speaker 1: they've shifted around it. You know, they've got the new

Speaker 1: defensive coordinator in there is really starting to take shape

Speaker 1: hot and then he's really struggled as the season's drawn on.

Speaker 1: hell out of the ball and that's causing a problem

Speaker 1: for most of the teams that they've got. But they've

Speaker 1: also got one of the top defenses in the country.

Speaker 1: you really got to be thinking about that. We make

Speaker 1: the right higher when we brought Vinables in here, because

Speaker 1: the only showcase game we've seen all season was really

Speaker 1: they're the super conferences. Well, the problem is, if you

Speaker 1: much depth away from these SEC teams as players don't

Speaker 1: want to sit the bench and they'll transfer, or they'll

Speaker 1: transfer even within conference that now as you start rolling

Speaker 1: through the season. It may not just be injuries that

Speaker 1: are causing issues. It could be the fact that your

Speaker 1: depth chart's just not that good and not what you're

Speaker 1: teams are really cannibalizing themselves. And I don't think it's over.

Speaker 1: I mean, you look at LSU and A and M

Speaker 1: are going to play Saturday, both of them undefeated and

Speaker 1: SEC play. And if you would have told me, hey,

Speaker 1: those two teams are going to be leading the SEC

Speaker 1: team I think is not perfect. They're not They're flawed,

Speaker 1: even though we've seen some really good football from them,

Speaker 1: And so I wouldn't go so far as to say

Speaker 1: that it's an easy run for them all the way

Speaker 1: out and you know, is LSU good enough to keep

Speaker 1: We thought Texas was unbeatable. I think Texas is still

Speaker 1: really good, number one defense in the country. I still

Speaker 1: think they're physical, I think they tackle well, I think

Speaker 1: they offensively. They've got all the tools there. It's just

Speaker 1: a matter if they can get it going. And let's

Speaker 1: not forget that losing to Georgia in that game was

Speaker 1: a tough spot. They have not played well nor have

Speaker 1: they covered the game after red River in seven out

Speaker 1: of the last eight years, and so that was a

Speaker 1: hard spot for them to try to get up for Oklahoma,

Speaker 1: even though it was a very one sided matchup, and

Speaker 1: then turn around and play Georgia the following week. You

Speaker 1: knew that was going to be a flat spot. Even

Speaker 1: if it wasn't a flat spot, I almost think that

Speaker 1: game was a little bit too big for that Texas

Speaker 1: team with all the celebrities there, everything that was going on,

Speaker 1: and it showed because they did not look like they

Speaker 1: were ready to play. Georgia looked like the team that,
