Speaker 1: Welcome to another edition at the Startum Situm Show. It
0:14
Speaker 1: is a Friday. You hear all that bass. My name
0:16
Speaker 1: is Marcus Grant. That guy's name is Michael Floyd. We're
0:19
Speaker 1: here to talk to me about Starts and Sits, sort
0:21
Speaker 1: of like it says in the title right there. Of course,
0:23
Speaker 1: Michael F. Florio rights these Stardom sent them column every
0:26
Speaker 1: single week. You can find that at NFL dot com
0:28
Speaker 1: slash Starts and Sits. We're gonna talk about a whole lot, obviously,
0:33
Speaker 1: with who's up who's down for the week. We're gonna
0:35
Speaker 1: tell you who's gonna pile up the points. We're gonna
0:37
Speaker 1: recap our favorite fantasy performances of the season so far
0:40
Speaker 1: and talk about what it might mean for the future.
0:43
Speaker 1: But we gotta start with some bad news. Florio. News
0:47
Speaker 1: broke on Friday morning that Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is
0:52
Speaker 1: out for the season. Suffered a torn ligament in his wrist,
0:55
Speaker 1: and coach Zach Taylor says it will require surgeries. So Burrow,
1:00
Speaker 1: you can add him to the list of top flight
1:02
Speaker 1: quarterbacks that have gone down for the remainder of the season.
1:06
Speaker 1: Let's just start, though, first with what this means for
1:08
Speaker 1: the rest of the Bengals. I mean Jamar Chase, te
1:10
Speaker 1: Higgins when he's healthy, Tyler Boyd, all those guys, how
1:13
Speaker 1: does it affect them not having Joey Burrow.
1:16
Speaker 2: I think Jamar Chase remains in play because he's such
1:19
Speaker 2: a big play upside. He cut the touchdown last night,
1:22
Speaker 2: but he's a boomer bust option. Like remember the first
1:25
Speaker 2: month when Joe Burrow was hurt. He had like a
1:27
Speaker 2: big game or two and then a couple of really
1:29
Speaker 2: down games. That's kind of what I think his season
1:31
Speaker 2: might look like to me. I think Joe Mixon is
1:33
Speaker 2: the big Now there's no big winner here. They're all losers.
1:36
Speaker 2: But I think he's the one that will be okay
1:38
Speaker 2: the most because they're probably gonna try to run the
1:40
Speaker 2: ball and throw a lot of dump offs to him.
1:42
Speaker 2: Those secondary options like t Higgins, Tyler Boyd, we've been streaming,
1:46
Speaker 2: like Irwin and Hudson Higgins. Maybe the rest I think
1:50
Speaker 2: you have to pull out of her lineup.
1:51
Speaker 1: It's gonna be really, really hard to trust anybody. We
1:54
Speaker 1: saw on Thursday nights Trenton Irwin did a lot of targets,
1:57
Speaker 1: but that felt more like a Jake Brown throwing to
2:01
Speaker 1: the guy that he's worked with in practice. I don't
2:04
Speaker 1: know that that's a thing that you can count on
2:05
Speaker 1: week to week. Definitely a big downgrade for everybody across
2:09
Speaker 1: the Bengals offense. Meanwhile, streaming options, I mean, if you've
2:13
Speaker 1: got Joe Burrow, that's what you're doing. There's nobody else
2:15
Speaker 1: out there that you can count on every single week
2:17
Speaker 1: that's going to give you opportunity. Guys that are out there.
2:20
Speaker 1: Check see if Matthew Stafford is there, Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield.
2:24
Speaker 1: These are a few guys that have some decent schedules
2:26
Speaker 1: down the stretch that you can plug into your lineup
2:29
Speaker 1: and maybe get some decent fantasy production out of him.
2:31
Speaker 1: But it's tough, man.
2:33
Speaker 2: You also could try, like a lot of quarterbacks have
2:35
Speaker 2: broke out as of late, like Brock Perdy, the Pastora
2:38
Speaker 2: and Josh Dobbs, So there could be teams out there
2:40
Speaker 2: that have two good quarterbacks. Maybe you try to swing
2:43
Speaker 2: the trade for their second quarterback or something like that.
2:45
Speaker 1: So it is the disappointing end to what was a
2:48
Speaker 1: really frustrating season for Joe Burrow, started with the calf injury,
2:52
Speaker 1: ends it with the wrist injury. Seems like a way
2:55
Speaker 1: to go to transition into our start quarterbacks for Week eleven.
2:59
Speaker 1: We know that Joe Burrow has already played, Lamark Jackson's
3:02
Speaker 1: already played.
3:03
Speaker 2: Who else is on your start sit list? I wrote
3:05
Speaker 2: about like seven quarterbacks this week. So the ones that
3:07
Speaker 2: are here are Jared Goff, c J. Stroud, Sam Hall,
3:11
Speaker 2: who's been playing great. Kyler Murray is back, and so
3:14
Speaker 2: is the Pastronaut the sis, Trevor Lawrence. I basically have
3:18
Speaker 2: said to sit him on every show I've been on,
3:20
Speaker 2: the Gino Smith, Baker Mayfield, and Matthew Stafford. He's back,
3:24
Speaker 2: but I would still have him hit.
3:26
Speaker 1: The bench, all right, So those are the quarterbacks that
3:29
Speaker 1: he's got overall. Let's dive into some individually, because Joshua
3:35
Speaker 1: Dobbs has been pretty lights out so far this season.
3:37
Speaker 1: But the Broncos defense has been better this year or recently,
3:42
Speaker 1: I should say, not overall this year. But you still
3:45
Speaker 1: are believing in the Pastronaut.
3:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, because as good as their secondary has been, the
3:50
Speaker 2: Broncos still struggle against the run a bit, and the
3:53
Speaker 2: Pastornaut as like, yeah, he's the passionate, but he runs
3:56
Speaker 2: so efficiently at least of Russ one rushing touchdown in
4:00
Speaker 2: four straight games, and since Week two he has topped
4:03
Speaker 2: forty rushing yards seven times. To put that into perspective,
4:06
Speaker 2: forty rushing yards in fantasy is equivalent to one hundred
4:10
Speaker 2: passing yards. So he's giving you a floor right there
4:13
Speaker 2: with a rushing touchdown of about ten points per week.
4:16
Speaker 2: So to me a top three runner in yards and
4:19
Speaker 2: touchdowns amongst quarterbacks, that's enough to get him in play.
4:21
Speaker 2: But then the Broncos, they've been playing better, but they
4:24
Speaker 2: still on the year have allowed four hundred yards per game,
4:27
Speaker 2: and the they might have Justin Jefferson back this week
4:30
Speaker 2: as well.
4:31
Speaker 1: The bar four rushing success for quarterbacks against the Broncos
4:35
Speaker 1: pretty low. The high man this year Patrick Mahomes with
4:38
Speaker 1: thirty one yards against that Denver defense on the ground.
4:42
Speaker 1: Sam Howell Howlitzer, the guy who came into Week eleven
4:46
Speaker 1: as the passing leader across the NFL. He's got the Giants.
4:50
Speaker 1: I don't know they really need to say more, but
4:52
Speaker 1: I'm gonna turned it over to you to say more. Giants.
4:55
Speaker 2: You saw what Dak Prescott and the Cowboys did to
4:58
Speaker 2: them last year, but like Mark Is said, Sam Hall
5:01
Speaker 2: has just been productive regardless of who the matchup has
5:04
Speaker 2: been against. This year, he leads the league in passing
5:08
Speaker 2: yards and was fourth in passing touchdowns. Please get Eric
5:11
Speaker 2: Banemy a head coaching job asap. But since Week two
5:16
Speaker 2: he scored at least seventeen in all but two games
5:18
Speaker 2: and three times top twenty four fantasy points for a quarterback.
5:21
Speaker 2: That is a very safe floor and a high ceiling.
5:24
Speaker 2: And he was a QB two on a lot of
5:25
Speaker 2: people's teams. Now you could just get him back into
5:27
Speaker 2: your starting lineup weekly.
5:29
Speaker 1: I mean, I know we didn't really know what to
5:31
Speaker 1: expect from the Commanders, but Sam Hall has exceeded whatever
5:34
Speaker 1: expectations we may have had. From the quarterbacks to the
5:38
Speaker 1: wide receivers, they look at the start since for this week,
5:41
Speaker 1: who do you have?
5:43
Speaker 2: If anyone plays for the Texans and you have them
5:45
Speaker 2: on your fantasy team, you should probably try to get
5:47
Speaker 2: them in your starting lineup. It's just as Texans wide
5:49
Speaker 2: receivers Terry McLaurin, because he gets the Giants, he's automatic
5:53
Speaker 2: against them. Jordan Addison in a good matchup, He's just
5:57
Speaker 2: been playing great football. Rashi Rice and a great, and
6:00
Speaker 2: then the sits Adam Thielen because Cowboys Gabe Davis gets
6:04
Speaker 2: put in clamps when he plays the Jets George Pickens
6:07
Speaker 2: because Kenny Pickett is his quarterback. And Calvin Ridley. I
6:10
Speaker 2: know the Titans used man and people are getting excited
6:13
Speaker 2: for that, but the Titans secondary has actually been pretty
6:16
Speaker 2: stingy as of late. So I would try to sit
6:18
Speaker 2: Calvin Ridley.
6:19
Speaker 1: All right, Calvin Ridley continue what has been a disappointing,
6:21
Speaker 1: frustrating season for him. Let's talk Jordan Addison because you
6:25
Speaker 1: like the quarterback. You like Josh Dobbs, so it sort
6:28
Speaker 1: of makes sense that you'd like the guy who's been,
6:29
Speaker 1: at least for the last few weeks, the number one
6:31
Speaker 1: receiver there in Minnesota.
6:33
Speaker 2: And Addison, for a rookie, brings such a safe floor.
6:36
Speaker 2: He has one game this year where he didn't score
6:38
Speaker 2: a fantasy point. In every other game he has top
6:40
Speaker 2: double digits, and he has hit sixteen five times over
6:45
Speaker 2: twenty one twice in the last month. He has a
6:47
Speaker 2: quarterback that is thriving. But what really excites me is
6:51
Speaker 2: he is the highest passer rating amongst all wide receivers
6:54
Speaker 2: in the NFL when targeted against zone coverage. The Broncos
6:58
Speaker 2: run zone coverage seventy five of the time, that is
7:00
Speaker 2: higher than league average. So the safe floor, the high
7:04
Speaker 2: ceiling success against the zone all reasons why I feel
7:07
Speaker 2: very good about Jordan Addison.
7:09
Speaker 1: So Jordan Addison still in our good graces. On the
7:12
Speaker 1: other side, Adam Thielen been a good start to the season,
7:16
Speaker 1: but lately we've hit a bit of a rough patch
7:18
Speaker 1: and the matchup doesn't look too good.
7:20
Speaker 2: This week we go from the receiver that replaced steel
7:22
Speaker 2: In in Minnesota to feel in himself, but I will
7:26
Speaker 2: be sitting him. I will say the change in play
7:29
Speaker 2: caller there back to Frank Reich does have me questioning
7:32
Speaker 2: this one a little bit because Dealen was much better
7:34
Speaker 2: when Frank Reich was calling plays. But the Cowboys are
7:37
Speaker 2: still such a scary matchup. They've allowed these second fewest
7:41
Speaker 2: yards to receivers them in. The Jets are the only
7:43
Speaker 2: teams to allow less than eight thousand yards too wide
7:46
Speaker 2: receivers this season, but they have been really stingy to
7:49
Speaker 2: slot receivers. They've allowed these second lowest completion percentage on
7:52
Speaker 2: passes two slot receivers. That's about where Delan runs two
7:56
Speaker 2: thirds of his routes, and like you were saying on
7:58
Speaker 2: Fantasy Live, with no one else really getting going there
8:01
Speaker 2: in this passing attack or in this offense as a whole,
8:04
Speaker 2: the Cowboys can kind of just focus on taking.
8:06
Speaker 1: Adam Deeling away. I think that's going to be the thing,
8:08
Speaker 1: is make Bryce Young go other places to try to
8:11
Speaker 1: beat you. And so far guys like DJ Chark, like
8:15
Speaker 1: Jonathan Mingo haven't shown that they could get it done offensively,
8:18
Speaker 1: so it could be tough sledding for Adam feeling coming out.
8:22
Speaker 1: We got running backs and tight ends. Plus we take
8:24
Speaker 1: a trip to Club Dumb, stick around for more stardom.
8:27
Speaker 1: Sit them, start sitting running backs for week eleven.
8:35
Speaker 2: Go Taquon Barkley's still in play because of the volume
8:38
Speaker 2: that he gets. Tony Pollard. It is now or never.
8:41
Speaker 2: Brian Robinson Junior, the only running back to be the
8:44
Speaker 2: RB one multiple weeks this season, could make it three
8:47
Speaker 2: this week. Darryl Henderson Junior last week, you could use him,
8:50
Speaker 2: but you should get him in your starting lineup and
8:52
Speaker 2: then some sits. I'm taking a bold call here. I
8:55
Speaker 2: think you should try to get away from Rashad White
8:57
Speaker 2: only if you have another option you feel good about
8:59
Speaker 2: Jane Cook both Bears running backs because of the Lions,
9:03
Speaker 2: and then Alexander Madison looking like he has a chance
9:06
Speaker 2: to suit up this week. Whether or not he does,
9:08
Speaker 2: I would plan on getting him out of your starting
9:10
Speaker 2: lineup right now.
9:11
Speaker 1: Madison still in concussion protocol, but Listen is questionable for
9:14
Speaker 1: the week, so we'll see if he gets on the field.
9:16
Speaker 1: All right, Tony Pollard, we got our hurts broke last week.
9:20
Speaker 1: Are we ready to get our hearts broken again this week?
9:23
Speaker 2: Yeah?
9:23
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I'm ready to get hurt again.
9:25
Speaker 2: And I keep saying if Tony Pollard disappoints this week,
9:28
Speaker 2: we can have a serious conversation if it is time
9:31
Speaker 2: to just pull him out of your starting lineup. But
9:33
Speaker 2: there's no way I could take him out this week.
9:36
Speaker 2: The Carolina Panthers are the best possible matchup for a
9:39
Speaker 2: running backs. They've allowed the most touchdowns, the fifth most yards,
9:42
Speaker 2: the most fantasy points, and unlike the Giants, they're a
9:46
Speaker 2: little bit tougher against the past, they'd run zone coverage
9:49
Speaker 2: a whole bunch. Dak's been better this year against man
9:51
Speaker 2: than zone.
9:52
Speaker 1: So maybe, just maybe, we don't.
9:54
Speaker 2: Get Dak going for four hundred yards and a billion touchdowns,
9:57
Speaker 2: maybe he has no choice but to get his RB
10:00
Speaker 2: one involved.
10:01
Speaker 1: I mean, I want to believe that the Cowboys have
10:03
Speaker 1: heard all the chatter and they're going to try and
10:05
Speaker 1: get Pollard into the end zone. But I'd still in
10:07
Speaker 1: deeper league start Rigo Daudell because that could happen too.
10:10
Speaker 1: At this point. James Cook. We keep trying to make
10:14
Speaker 1: Fetch happy with James Cook, and I don't think he
10:17
Speaker 1: has a fumbling problem because look the fumble he had
10:19
Speaker 1: on Monday night. That was the first fumble he'd had
10:22
Speaker 1: since his first fumble in his very first carry in
10:24
Speaker 1: his very first game. It's not like he's a fumbler.
10:27
Speaker 1: But you he's not getting the fantasy points that we
10:30
Speaker 1: want and he's playing the Jets. It's all seems bad.
10:32
Speaker 1: He is a coach issue. And I know the Bills
10:34
Speaker 1: have a new OC trust me. I know, but Joe
10:38
Speaker 1: Brady in his career in Carolina like to use one
10:41
Speaker 1: running back. But until we see that, I think we
10:44
Speaker 1: need to take a wait and see approach when it
10:45
Speaker 1: comes to James Cook. Because Latavious Murray has been heavily
10:49
Speaker 1: involved he's getting the work near the goal line, and
10:51
Speaker 1: if it's not going to the Tavius Murray, it's still
10:54
Speaker 1: going to Josh Allen. That whole run listing that doesn't
10:56
Speaker 1: apply near the goal line. Sean McDermott came out and
10:59
Speaker 1: said Leonard Fournette could be activated this week, and then
11:03
Speaker 1: it's against the Jets. They've allowed three point six yards
11:05
Speaker 1: per carried to back since Week six, the six fewest
11:08
Speaker 1: receiving yards in that span, just three touchdowns. They shut
11:11
Speaker 1: down James Cook in week one when he was getting
11:13
Speaker 1: more of the percentage of the work than he's getting now.
11:16
Speaker 1: Maybe Joe Brady is what James Cook needs to get
11:19
Speaker 1: set free and be the lead back here. But I
11:21
Speaker 1: want to take away and see approach before I just
11:23
Speaker 1: keep plugging him in my line up. I feel every
11:25
Speaker 1: little bit of that, But I have a league where
11:26
Speaker 1: I have to start James Cook, and so I'm just
11:27
Speaker 1: gonna hold my nose and hopefully this works out. You
11:30
Speaker 1: we'll find out for sure. Let's get over to the
11:33
Speaker 1: tight ends, which for all to talk about Joe Burrow
11:37
Speaker 1: and losing him, we have also lost Mark Andrews for
11:39
Speaker 1: the rest of the season. Sadly as well with an
11:41
Speaker 1: ankle injury. He's already played. But in terms of guys
11:44
Speaker 1: who are playing, who are you starting and who are
11:46
Speaker 1: you sitting?
11:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe try if you get picked up one of
11:48
Speaker 2: these tight ends, try to trade him to the Andrews guy,
11:50
Speaker 2: because all of these guys were available on waivers a
11:52
Speaker 2: few weeks ago. Dalon Kinkaid must start tight end. Trey
11:55
Speaker 2: Bryde must start tight end. Dalon Schultz has really worked
11:58
Speaker 2: his way to be a player you want to each
12:00
Speaker 2: and every week. I feel the same way about Jake
12:02
Speaker 2: Ferguson and Cole Comett. All of those guys just keep
12:05
Speaker 2: riding with them. I'm sitting Evan Ingram this week because
12:08
Speaker 2: the Titans Kate is a good streaming option when he
12:12
Speaker 2: has a good matchup the forty nine ers or anything
12:14
Speaker 2: but that. And then Gerald Everett, he's just splitting too
12:17
Speaker 2: much time with Donald Parham, so I would go and
12:20
Speaker 2: get him out of your lineup as well.
12:22
Speaker 1: Donald Parham, man, dude has been. Anybody who has Gerald
12:25
Speaker 1: Everett gets a little bit queasy when they hear the
12:28
Speaker 1: name Donald Parham. That's all I know. The Mighty met
12:31
Speaker 1: Kate m e t who has been very quietly and
12:34
Speaker 1: very good consistent receiving option for the Bears, and he's
12:37
Speaker 1: getting his original starting quarterback back. Central high scoring matchup
12:41
Speaker 1: against the Lions seems like a lot to like here
12:43
Speaker 1: the Mighty Met I thought you were going for.
12:45
Speaker 2: Like a New York Mets fan, Metropolitans, cole Comett is
12:49
Speaker 2: definitely in play. Like marcut said, he's getting Justin Fields back,
12:52
Speaker 2: which naturally just gives him a big boost. But since
12:56
Speaker 2: Week four, even when Justin Fields has been out, he
12:58
Speaker 2: has scored more than nine fantasy points in five of
13:01
Speaker 2: seven games. Four times in that span it's been at
13:03
Speaker 2: least fifteen and as high as twenty seven point six.
13:07
Speaker 2: That is a very high ceiling for a tight end.
13:10
Speaker 2: That is a safe floor for a tight end, and
13:12
Speaker 2: it only gets elevated with Justin Fields back. Plus the Lions,
13:16
Speaker 2: for as good as they've been against the run, they
13:17
Speaker 2: struggled a bit against the pass, and they really have
13:20
Speaker 2: struggled against tight ends. They're in the top ten and
13:22
Speaker 2: fantasy points allowed to the position. So get Cole Comett
13:25
Speaker 2: in your lineup this week.
13:26
Speaker 1: Cole Comet playing pretty well, especially relative to the rest
13:29
Speaker 1: of the fantasy tight ends. Evan Ingram has been a
13:33
Speaker 1: top ten tight end despite not having any touchdowns. You
13:37
Speaker 1: I know you don't like Trevor Lawrence. This week seems
13:39
Speaker 1: like you were sort of out on Ingram as well.
13:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, and this is a little bit harder to pull
13:43
Speaker 2: him than it would be Lawrence. But if you have
13:45
Speaker 2: another tight end, and I just listed a whole bunch
13:47
Speaker 2: of them that were available not that long ago that
13:49
Speaker 2: you could have picked up, go with the other option.
13:52
Speaker 2: The reason is Evan Ingram was shut down last week.
13:55
Speaker 2: Four catches for twelve yards. Very tough matchup against the
13:58
Speaker 2: forty nine ers. On the year, the Tennessee Titans have
14:01
Speaker 2: allowed the same number of yards to tight ends as
14:03
Speaker 2: the forty nine Ers have. They are the only team
14:06
Speaker 2: in the league to not allow a touchdown two way
14:09
Speaker 2: tight end. And Evan Ingram not only does he not
14:11
Speaker 2: have a touchdown this year, he has gone thirteen straight
14:14
Speaker 2: games without a touchdown. So if he doesn't get on
14:17
Speaker 2: the yardage might not be there. You're probably looking at
14:19
Speaker 2: single digits for Evan Ingram.
14:21
Speaker 1: That's been it too. It's a lot of short throws.
14:23
Speaker 1: He's not necessarily picking up yards in chunks, and he's
14:25
Speaker 1: not finding then end zone, it makes it hard to
14:27
Speaker 1: consistently be a top ten tight end time. Now for
14:31
Speaker 1: Cliff dur we got the guys that we guarantee you're
14:34
Speaker 1: gonna score you at least twenty five Fantasy points, and
14:37
Speaker 1: you make this. At the beginning of the season, this
14:40
Speaker 1: wouldn't have seemed bold, but here in week eleven, this
14:43
Speaker 1: seems kind of like a bold call.
14:45
Speaker 2: Not only am I thinking that Devonte Adams is going
14:48
Speaker 2: to eat this week, I'm thinking that people should be
14:50
Speaker 2: trying to trade for Devonte Adams right now. I understand
14:53
Speaker 2: the production hasn't been Devonte like as of late, but
14:57
Speaker 2: in three games with Aid and O'Connell this year, his
14:59
Speaker 2: targets share is around thirty percent and two of them
15:01
Speaker 2: and around fifty percent in the third. It's just the
15:04
Speaker 2: last two weeks they didn't have to throw the ball
15:07
Speaker 2: at all. Against the Giants, who they blew out, and
15:09
Speaker 2: then against the Jets, he was shadowed by Sauce Gardner
15:12
Speaker 2: and DJ Reed, tough competition, still at a tone of volume,
15:15
Speaker 2: still put up around fifteen Fantasy points. That is a
15:18
Speaker 2: good day considering who the opponent is. Now he gets
15:21
Speaker 2: the Dolphins, who allow a lot more production to receivers
15:24
Speaker 2: and they're going to put up plenty of points. The
15:26
Speaker 2: Raiders will be in ketchup mode. I think DeVante could
15:29
Speaker 2: see like fifteen targets this week when they have to
15:31
Speaker 2: throw this much from your lips to the fantasy god's ears.
15:34
Speaker 2: On the other side, I am going with a little
15:36
Speaker 2: bit of low hanging fruit because it tastes just as
15:38
Speaker 2: good as the stuff at the top of the.
15:39
Speaker 1: Tree and you don't have to work as hard to
15:40
Speaker 1: get it. Tyreek Hill, who has been balling out, and
15:43
Speaker 1: part of this is because it's Tyreek Hill. Part of
15:45
Speaker 1: this is because of the matchup against the Raiders. I
15:48
Speaker 1: thought it was interesting doing some research this week, seeing
15:50
Speaker 1: the Raiders have a top ten passing defense, then looking
15:53
Speaker 1: at the quarterbacks they've played. They had the Broncos at
15:55
Speaker 1: the start of the year when they couldn't figure things out.
15:57
Speaker 1: They've had Chimmy Pickett, They've had Jordan Love mac Jones.
16:01
Speaker 1: They had Tyson Baigit who they lost to. They had
16:05
Speaker 1: both Tommy DeVito and Zach Wilson. They have played some
16:09
Speaker 1: really bad quarterbacks. Tua is not one of those I
16:13
Speaker 1: expect who is gonna have a big day. I expect
16:15
Speaker 1: Tyreek Hill is going to eat and have twenty five
16:17
Speaker 1: or more Fantasy points. Speaking of a big performances still
16:21
Speaker 1: to come, We're going over our favorite fantasy performances of
16:24
Speaker 1: the season, telling you those folks can win you a
16:27
Speaker 1: championship in Fantasy. Stick around for more of the stardhom
16:30
Speaker 1: Situm show. Time to welcome, as we always do. At
16:38
Speaker 1: this point of the show, Lakwan Jones back to wearing
16:41
Speaker 1: the loud shirts like you and Jason mccordy have been
16:44
Speaker 1: going shopping.
16:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, you reinspired me man. I had to bring them
16:47
Speaker 3: back and I got the chain this week.
16:48
Speaker 1: So it's you're wearing like regular T shirts and I'm like,
16:51
Speaker 1: I don't know who this man is normal like Palmer,
16:54
Speaker 1: Like I don't know this man. I'm sorry to this man.
16:58
Speaker 1: Who we are not sorry to though, are a lot
16:59
Speaker 1: of guys who had big Fantasy performances during the season.
17:02
Speaker 1: A segment let to call put the team on my
17:04
Speaker 1: back though no Greg Jennings, no broken legs, but a
17:08
Speaker 1: lot of guys who did put the team on their backs.
17:11
Speaker 1: Of Florio, who was one of your favorite big time
17:14
Speaker 1: Fantasy performances of the season.
17:16
Speaker 2: Jamiir Gibbs Week seven against the Ravens twenty seven point
17:20
Speaker 2: six Fantasy points. And up until that point, we were
17:24
Speaker 2: very worried about Jamiir Gibbs and I had a lot
17:27
Speaker 2: invested in him. I was talking him up as a
17:28
Speaker 2: potential league winner, have him on a bunch of teams
17:31
Speaker 2: and Marcus. I think that was the first week we
17:33
Speaker 2: did Marcus Grant's three wishes on Fantasy Live, and I
17:36
Speaker 2: was like begging, like, please, let this be the Jamiir
17:38
Speaker 2: Gibbs breakout week. It happened. And then even better than
17:42
Speaker 2: that was last week seeing Gibbs and Montgomery coexist. They
17:45
Speaker 2: both scored touchdowns, they were both heavily involved. It looks
17:49
Speaker 2: like to me like you could just start both of
17:51
Speaker 2: the lines backs moving forward. And I still think Gibbs
17:54
Speaker 2: brings some league winning upside, but so does David Montgomery
17:57
Speaker 2: in this offense.
17:57
Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, LaQuan, this is like one of the
17:59
Speaker 1: few opportunities were like a guy, you know, maybe he
18:01
Speaker 1: gets a secondary role, who's it's a primary role. So
18:05
Speaker 1: I mean, are you confident that Jamiir Gibbs is the
18:07
Speaker 1: guy now that we thought he was going to be.
18:09
Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I mean you got to be confident
18:11
Speaker 3: in him just putting him in starting line. I'm like,
18:13
Speaker 3: I believe him and Monty work a great one two punch.
18:16
Speaker 3: Like they're both top three right now in rushing yards
18:18
Speaker 3: for a game. So like that's something you want to see,
18:20
Speaker 3: Like back in the day when we're starting Nick Chubb
18:22
Speaker 3: and Cream Hunt at the same time. Like these guys
18:25
Speaker 3: are just going to be elite for the rest of
18:26
Speaker 3: the season.
18:27
Speaker 1: Like Peter Butter and Chocolate. I'm glad that Dan Campbell
18:29
Speaker 1: decided we can finally put those two things together. It's amazing.
18:32
Speaker 1: I mean, shout out to the Lions though, for actually
18:34
Speaker 1: sticking with Jamiir Gibbs even after David Montgomery came back,
18:37
Speaker 1: because we were worried that it might go back the
18:39
Speaker 1: other way. Meanwhile, q raheem Mostert. Look, at some point
18:44
Speaker 1: the season, we're calling him raehe must start.
18:46
Speaker 2: Yeah.
18:46
Speaker 1: Maybe big performances like he had against the Panthers had
18:49
Speaker 1: something to do with it. Yeah.
18:50
Speaker 3: He simply does not get enough love, man, I mean, before, during,
18:54
Speaker 3: or after. The rookie Devon a Chan I mean most
18:56
Speaker 3: of remains a solid running back. I mean he's put
18:59
Speaker 3: the team on his back in Week six, like we
19:00
Speaker 3: saw with al Chan, and he finished RB one that
19:04
Speaker 3: week and he had three touchdowns. I mean without the
19:06
Speaker 3: rookie man, Mostart has held down the four with this
19:09
Speaker 3: Dolphins run game. I mean even dating back to last season,
19:12
Speaker 3: I mean since twenty twenty two, the dude's top five
19:14
Speaker 3: and touchdowns, yards per carry, rushes of ten plus yards,
19:18
Speaker 3: Like the dude is just simply explosive man, and like
19:21
Speaker 3: he's currently leaning the league and yards for Kerry rushing touchdowns,
19:24
Speaker 3: like the list goes on how explosive he is, and
19:26
Speaker 3: like he's going to carry a lot of teams to
19:28
Speaker 3: the fantasy playoffs and maybe even beyond.
19:31
Speaker 1: So Flora, we just talked about the Lions backfield with
19:34
Speaker 1: Gibbs and Montgomery. Can we get something similar in Miami
19:37
Speaker 1: with Devon ahchan expected back.
19:39
Speaker 2: I think so, because yes, like that was the week
19:43
Speaker 2: that Raheem most finishes the RB one. It's not even
19:46
Speaker 2: his highest scoring game of this season, because there was
19:48
Speaker 2: a game where ah Chan and Moster are both top
19:51
Speaker 2: forty five Fantasy points. I think they can coexist. His
19:55
Speaker 2: floor gets lowered a bit. The upside is still sky
19:58
Speaker 2: high though, because he is so explosive. One long run
20:01
Speaker 2: could be a.
20:01
Speaker 1: Huge day for either of those backs. So for me,
20:03
Speaker 1: I'm looking at Adam Thielen because we didn't expect anything
20:06
Speaker 1: from Adam Thielen. Week one, he gave us three points,
20:08
Speaker 1: like okay, whatever, we two twenty points. You're like, all right,
20:10
Speaker 1: that was interesting. Week three he went for a buck
20:13
Speaker 1: forty five and a touchdown against the Seahawks, thirty one
20:16
Speaker 1: and a half fantasy points, and at that point we
20:18
Speaker 1: were like, oh, we need to pay attention to Adam Feelin.
20:22
Speaker 1: It's been great for the first half of the season,
20:23
Speaker 1: but LQ, the last couple of weeks have not been
20:25
Speaker 1: so good. Is it about time to maybe jump off
20:28
Speaker 1: the theling bandwagon. I don't know.
20:30
Speaker 3: I might be jumping back on with Frank REI cale
20:32
Speaker 3: in the plays because I mean, before he gave way
20:35
Speaker 3: the play calling, Adam Delan was a top ten wide
20:38
Speaker 3: receiver and it's like crazy to say, but the volume
20:41
Speaker 3: is there, and I think it's going to remain consistent.
20:43
Speaker 3: If Frank right is going to be making these calls.
20:46
Speaker 1: Well, we'll see what happens. As you mentioned, Frank Reich
20:49
Speaker 1: taking over the play calling duties. Can that bring fling
20:51
Speaker 1: back after a bit of a slump. Let's go back
20:53
Speaker 1: around again, because Floria, you're looking at the guy who
20:57
Speaker 1: right now looks like the offensive rookie of the year,
20:59
Speaker 1: both in fantasy and in the real NFL.
21:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he's locked up the real life award already.
21:05
Speaker 1: CJ.
21:05
Speaker 2: Stroud And Week nine, he went out and had the
21:09
Speaker 2: best game of any quarterback has had this season forty
21:12
Speaker 2: one point eight fantasy points. The only other quarterbacks to
21:15
Speaker 2: top thirty five in a game this year is Josh Allen.
21:17
Speaker 2: But it was the best game ever in NFL history
21:21
Speaker 2: by a rookie quarterback. Most passing yards in a game
21:24
Speaker 2: by a rookie, most passing touchdowns. No rookie quarterback I
21:27
Speaker 2: ever had a game with four hundred yards and four touchdowns.
21:30
Speaker 2: He threw for four seventy and five in the history
21:33
Speaker 2: of the NFL. Ben Roethlisberger is the only other quarterback
21:36
Speaker 2: to do that in a game. His story performance across
21:39
Speaker 2: the board.
21:40
Speaker 1: So I mean, look, I don't know how much Dynasty
21:43
Speaker 1: you play. You play a little bit of dynasty? Is
21:45
Speaker 1: he is? He the number one dynasty quarterback.
21:47
Speaker 3: Right He's locked that up a while ago. I mean,
21:49
Speaker 3: this dude's just breaking records like it's nothing. And like, honestly,
21:53
Speaker 3: if I had to pick a secondary team to be
21:55
Speaker 3: a fan of, c J. Stroud has definitely made me
21:57
Speaker 3: a Texans fan now because like he's just going out
21:59
Speaker 3: there doing amazing things. It's like must watch TV right
22:03
Speaker 3: now for cjhrout.
22:04
Speaker 2: So he's surpassed Mahomes.
22:06
Speaker 1: Oh my god.
22:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, he is that guy, man, he is that guy.
22:10
Speaker 1: Spice bring meat, all right, Keenan Allen. He's near the
22:15
Speaker 1: top of my list of wide receivers we take for granted,
22:17
Speaker 1: and I think this show he's shown us why.
22:18
Speaker 3: I mean, look, not only is he putting the team
22:20
Speaker 3: on his back, he's putting my fantasy roster on his
22:22
Speaker 3: back as well, man, because the dude put up forty
22:25
Speaker 3: fantasy points in Week ten versus the Lions. He had
22:27
Speaker 3: one hundred and seventy five receiving yards in two touchdowns.
22:30
Speaker 3: This is his second game this season with one hundred
22:33
Speaker 3: and seventy five plus receiving yards. He's currently the wide
22:35
Speaker 3: receiver two behind Tyreek Hill, and he's always been one
22:38
Speaker 3: of the best wide receiver twos that you can kind
22:40
Speaker 3: of match up and pair with the elite talent in
22:43
Speaker 3: the first round, and he's not showing any signs of
22:45
Speaker 3: slowing down. He's still going out there and making the
22:47
Speaker 3: big plays. And even dating that the last season, if
22:50
Speaker 3: the season started in week eleven after your turn back
22:52
Speaker 3: from the handstring, he finished as the wide receiver three.
22:55
Speaker 3: And we keep on just missing out on Keenan Allen.
22:58
Speaker 3: He's gonna lead a lot of Tea to the championship
23:01
Speaker 3: this year.
23:01
Speaker 1: I really think he is. So if you got him,
23:03
Speaker 1: hold on to him because he could really carry you far.
23:06
Speaker 1: Getting short on time, we want to talk about Dak
23:07
Speaker 1: Prescott as we wrap things up here, because early in
23:10
Speaker 1: the season he had some turnovers, had that awful game
23:12
Speaker 1: against the forty nine ers. People panicked over the last
23:15
Speaker 1: month he is the QB one, but Week ten really
23:17
Speaker 1: stood out, and yes it was against the Giants, still
23:20
Speaker 1: nearly thirty eight fantasy points. Spread the ball around, getting
23:24
Speaker 1: CD Lamb, Michael Gallup, Brandon Cooks all involved. And you
23:27
Speaker 1: look at the schedule down the stretch for Dak Prescott,
23:30
Speaker 1: a lot of games either against good matchups like Washington
23:32
Speaker 1: and Carolina or games that are potentially high scoring like
23:35
Speaker 1: the Eagles. The Bills, the Dolphins, and the Lions in
23:38
Speaker 1: Championship week, So where you might have thought of Dak
23:41
Speaker 1: Prescott as kind of a high end QB two, he
23:43
Speaker 1: could be the guy that maybe leads you to a
23:45
Speaker 1: fantasy championship when it's all said and done. Pretty much
23:49
Speaker 1: that'll do it. But before we get out of here,
23:51
Speaker 1: want to give a shout out to our own Jack Deam,
23:54
Speaker 1: who is leaving us for bigger and better things. It's
23:56
Speaker 1: been amazing he's been running the show for the last month.
23:59
Speaker 1: I don't know how to feel is lately we've had
24:01
Speaker 1: folks who use us as a stepping stone. So like,
24:03
Speaker 1: on the one hand, I'm sad that, you know, people
24:05
Speaker 1: keep getting asked from our show, but on the other hand,
24:07
Speaker 1: they're going off to bigger and better things. So we're excited. Jack.
24:09
Speaker 1: We appreciate everything you've added to this show. A guy
24:12
Speaker 1: who went from being just a digital media specialist to
24:15
Speaker 1: actually producing and directing his own show here, which does
24:18
Speaker 1: not happen very often. So certainly glad to have known,
24:22
Speaker 1: yet to have worked with you. Excited to see what's
24:25
Speaker 1: coming next for Jack, but we're certainly going to miss
24:27
Speaker 1: you around here.
24:28
Speaker 2: One less Mac Miller fan in the building now.
24:32
Speaker 1: And Mac Miller fans like in my heart is just
24:34
Speaker 1: getting ripped apart that you should take this personally. That's
24:37
Speaker 1: all I know about it. But in the meantime, that'll
24:39
Speaker 1: do it for this edition of the Start of the
24:41
Speaker 1: Suit of a Show. We appreciate you hanging out with us.
24:43
Speaker 1: It's always for the Kwan Jones for Michael F. Floya,
24:45
Speaker 1: I am Marcus Grant. Thanks for checking us out and
24:47
Speaker 1: joy Week ever eleven everybody. I will talk to you
24:50
Speaker 1: again real soon.
25:02
Speaker 2: In doing
