- Chandler: Welcome back to Run After Cast, the college football podcast. Back with another predictions and pick'em episode for you guys. So we're just gonna roll straight into it, but first to recap our format, We're gonna go through each game. I'm gonna list the two teams playing. I'm gonna have them guess the over-unders and the lines. I'm gonna tell them what they really were, and then we're gonna go into our score prediction and what we think's gonna happen in the game. So for the first matchup, we have Miami versus Stanford on Friday night. Brian, what do we think the line and the over and under is? Ryan: think Miami is going to be twenty three points, and I think the overunder is fifty two points. Chandler: Okay. Aaron? Aaron: I have Miami at thirty with the overunder at fifty. Chandler: Okay. So I think Aaron takes the over under and Ryan takes the line. The line is twenty four and a half Miami's way and the overunder is forty eight and a half. So Ryan, Ryan: Right. Chandler: what do we think the score prediction's gonna be? Ryan: I think Miami's gonna win like forty eight to nine. Aaron: And I've got Miami at 38-14. And my game, the way I have this, I I know mine seems closer than it probably is gonna be, but I'm taking to account that Miami's going for a run. So I think they let off the breaks fourth quarter. That's where the points come in. I think we're probably looking at Stanford sitting at like three to seven for the first three quarters. And then we'll see. the fourteen, either the second touchdown or anything in the fourth quarter, I think Ments is just too good at throwing into tight windows. And w he's got, you know, Malachi Tony and Cooper Barquette back there to throw to. So that's just gonna be a lot to spread with a strong running back. That's there's not an easy option for Stanford's defense to play against there. Ryan: Yep, same. I don't think Stanford's very good. I think Mark Fletcher, Malchi Tony are too good, and I'm excited to see Darien Minsa play at a better ACC team rather than Duke. Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: Yeah, I'm excited to see Derriminsa play. There's a lot of preseason hype on him. I have the score being forty one to eleven. Ryan: Hmm? How are they gonna get eleven points? A safety? Aaron: So we're all we're all pretty close. Yeah. Chandler: Twelve. Twelve. Not eleven. So forty one to twelve is my final score, Miami winning. So next we have Indiana North Texas. So Aaron, take us away on this one. What do you think the over under in the line's gonna be? Aaron: Got Indiana as a 40 point favorite with the over-under being 45. Ryan: Okay. I think Indiana more like fifty and then let's say over under fifty five. Chandler: Okay, we swapped this time. Aaron has Aaron: Ha ha ha. Chandler: Aaron has the the line pretty nailed down and Ryan is exactly on the overunder. So the line is Indiana forty and a half and the over under is fifty five and a half. So it's perfect. So Aaron, Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: what you got for your score prediction? Aaron: I have this similar scenario as Miami Stanford. I have it 35-10 Indiana's way. I think we're going to see a little bit of first quarter, second quarter with a little bit of time to adjust to new players. And I so I just think we're going to just see a couple missed cues early on that might bobble some big plays. And then they're going to tighten back up and be ready to roll. Ryan: I think it's gonna be fifty-five to ten. I think Indiana with Kurt Signetti, They're always so disciplined where I don't even think they're gonna have very many stakes, but I think North Texas might sneak one in the end. But even last year, Signetti would leave Fernando in the entire game. So I think he's just gonna leave the guys in, they're gonna wrap a score. Chandler: Okay. I think similarly, I think that North Texas stays out of the end zone though. I think it's fifty one to nine. I'm excited to see the Hoosiers again. I think Christianetti's in a position to where you can't doubt him until he proves otherwise. I think he's he's done it. He's taken two teams to the playoff and won one national championship. So until further notice, I have faith in the old Signetti. So give me Indiana Aaron: I completely agree with you. Ryan: G P, G P Chandler: fifty one to nine. Okay. Now we're going to Alabama and East Carolina. Ryan, since you're an Auburn fan, kick us off. What you got the line and the overunder being? This is Ryan's first upset of the week. Ryan: Okay. I think I know I hate Alabama, whatever. No no no. Alabama Aaron: Yeah. Ryan: probably went I think the line is gonna be like like Alabama by thirty five and the over under like fifty five. Chandler: Okay, Aaron? Aaron: I got Alabama 30 point favorite with over under 50.5. Chandler: Okay. Alabama's line is twenty eight and a half. And the over under is fifty two and a half. So y'all are pretty split there again. I mean y'all are y'all are Aaron: Mm-hmm. Chandler: y'all are trading blows here. This is gonna be a a a long fight. Aaron: It's gonna be tight. Yeah. Chandler: So what do you think your score prediction's gonna be, Brian? Ryan: Mm. I think Alabama's gonna win forty two to twelve to thirteen. Aaron: That's very funny. I have at forty two to ten. So Chandler: Okay. Ryan: I'm excited to see Keelan Russell. I don't really know how great he is and see if Ryan Williams sucks again this year. And maybe see if Ryan Grubb can run the ball on a terrible team like ECU because he couldn't run the ball on anyone last year. So if he can't do it on them, he's not doing it. Aaron: Yeah, I feel like the score could be higher, but I like forty-two's not slouch at all. But I do think we're gonna see first half missed cues on throwing with some receiver route timing issues on the throws, just because how late Keelon was made starter. So just getting those reps in early on, I think, will set them. So just a couple like either forward passes or some just some blown routes that we'll see. Ryan: I will say though, Keelan's been the starter. They just were doing the whole it's a battle. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Aaron: Yeah, yeah, I I I assume so too. Yeah. Chandler: So I think again, Eastern Carolina's not getting in the end zone. Give me Eastern Carolina nine, Alabama forty eight. So now we go to the most competitive game of the weekend. We have Ohio State and Ball State. Aaron, let's hear your first upset of the week. Aaron: First upset. No, I couldn't do that to ya. my line is Ohio being a 50-point favorite with the over-under being 59.5. Ryan: Okay, Chandler: Ohio State, not Ohio. We're not the Bobcats. Ryan: I know this one. It's fifty point five, 'cause someone keeps slipping it, and Aaron: Ha ha. Ryan: they'll probably get like two field goals. Fifty six and a half. I've got fifty five and a half or fifty point five and fifty six point five. Chandler: Ding ding ding ding. It's exactly fifty and a half and the over under is fifty six and a half. Aaron: I see. My hurt shoulder keeping me out of the gym. Put me at a disadvantage. Ryan: Sorry, Aaron. He he talks too much. He talks too much. He talks too much. Chandler: There is one more on this list that Ryan will know. Not Aaron: Yeah. Ryan: Yeah. Chandler: giving it away, but there is one more. So Ryan, what do you think the score is gonna be? Aaron, Ryan: I think Aaron went. Aaron went. Chandler: what do you think the score's Aaron: Yep. Chandler: gonna Aaron: So I've got Ohio State at forty nine to nine. I I think this is a quiet game for Ball State. Chandler: So you have ball state covering. Interessante. Aaron: I do have ball state covering. Ryan: gonna go Aaron: Just barely. Ryan: I'm gonna go sixty to thirteen. Ball state covers. I think that hefty Righty from Ball State sneaks in there for one. He's gonna he's gonna kinda topple over somebody for one touchdown, maybe a second stringer. Chandler: He is five ten, two hundred and fifty pounds. The guy is a unit. Yeah. So Ryan: Mm-hmm. It's insane. He's like the old hefty Aaron: That's a tank. Yeah. Ryan: lefty, but he's a righty. Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: They're they're not getting in the end zone. Give me six points. ball state, six. Give me Ohio State. Mm. Fifty five. Fifty five to six. Ball state Ball State Ryan: See I like six points. That was the whole thing I based my spread off was they get six Aaron: I do. Chandler: does cover though. Fifty five to six. Ryan: I like the six, that's good. Chandler: Okay, now we go to Ryan's neck of the woods. Go Auburn Baylor. I think this is my most excited game I'm w I'm looking forward to, other than Louisville Aaron: It's gonna be a good one. Chandler: and Alt Miss. Ryan: This is obviously my highest game as well, obviously. is it me? Am I up? Chandler: Yep, you're up. Take it away. Aaron: You're up? Ryan: Okay. I think the line's seven and a half because someone told me that. But I don't know the overunder, but I'm going to say like sixty. Aaron: That makes me feel good because I have the the line at seven and a half for Auburn and the Ryan: Okay. Okay. Aaron: over-under at fifty-two point five. Chandler: Okay. It is seven and a half and it is fifty eight and a half is your Aaron: Oof. Chandler: overunder. Aaron: I'm light this week. Ryan: Okay, I think this is so disrespectful. I think Baylor's not that good. They are a medium of the road team, like a six out of ten, where they're good enough to kind of be a tester, but then they're not good enough to actually compete. I think if we are who we say we are, which Golish always says be who you say you are, then I think we should win 48 to 13. This is not gonna be a high scoring game. They're not gonna score a lot of points on Durkin. Our offense is like if we can score enough points. To show that we're dominant, but they're not gonna score on us like a lot. Chandler: This would be an insane clip. If for some reason it's like Aaron: Yes. Chandler: a overtime like 1818. Aaron: Yep. I'm Ryan: That would be crazy. Aaron: gonna say what Ryan, you may need to close your ears here for this next part because I do have this game as a potential upset. Not for Auburn's abilities, Ryan. Don't shoot me. No, I I think there's some extra factors here that Golish is in to play a win for momentum. I think Aranda is playing for his job this season at Baylor, and So that's bringing some energy as well as it's a neutral sight game. And I think that hurts Auburn more than it hurts Baylor because Baylor's been in a rough spot. I don't think their home crowd is going to be as strong. Auburn always shows up. So not having it at home, I think, is something that's gonna be a little bit of a disadvantage for Auburn. I think it stays close. I have the over or the final score as 28-24, but Auburn takes it. Ryan: Okay. Chandler: that happens, Auburn's gonna have a long season. Aaron: It will be a long season. Ryan: yeah, we're screwed. Aaron: Yep. Chandler: I have a I have Yeah. Ryan: If that happens, we're screwed. We have to show that we're dominant this game. Chandler: I think Auburn handles it. I I mean I joked with Ryan. I think th this spread is so tight, gotta be because of, you know, factors like DJ Lagway coming in and having a a revamped time, a new fresh start and all the like like Ryan said, the coach playing for their job. I I can't see this game being close even on a neutral site. I think this game's gonna be like a I would almost say I'm gonna say forty one to Forty one thirteen. Yeah. Ryan: Okay, so you're around where I was. Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: I think Auburn beats the breaks off of Baylor. I d I Yes. Aaron: I I think it I think there's a potential. There there's Ryan: We should. Aaron: it's either gonna go either Lagway has a hell of a game and he shows up, he punishes it. I just can't see Baylor's line surviving all four quarters though to to keep him flowing. Chandler: this line being so tight is so is is unbelievably disrespectful. I know Auburn Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: has been in a bad spot the past couple years, but it's Aaron: Baylor. Sorry, Baylor. Ryan: Baylor. Baylor. They had Sawyer Chandler: Yeah. Baylor guys. Ryan: Robinson and Trig last year and we still kind of dominated the score even though the game wasn't as clear cut as it should have been. It was a little tighter than the score showed. But if we're Chandler: With the vanilla offense. Ryan: Yeah, with nothing. Chandler: Okay, so next we have Georgia and Tennessee State. Aaron: So I have the line here as Georgia, or I have Georgia as a 48 point favorite, with the overunder being 58.5. Ryan: I mean I didn't even Tennessee had a Tennessee State. Let's say Georgia by fifty and let's do a little six thing here again, like I did with Ball State and let's do fifty six. Chandler: Okay. It is Georgia by forty six and a half and over under fifty six and a half. See you right there. Aaron: Ooh. Chandler: We gotta keep throwing out these half numbers. There's a lot of halves. Aaron: Yep. Chandler: Y'all are missing the halves. Ryan: That's true. I I'm missing the halves. Chandler: Y'all are missing the halves. So, Ryan, what do we think scores gonna be? You're gonna have to do a lot of cutting when I'm going back and forth here. Aaron, Aaron: yep. So I Ryan: It's okay. Chandler: what do you think the score's gonna be? Aaron: I got it at forty eight to ten, Georgia, all day. My explanation here in my notes is it's Georgia. That's it. Ryan: I think it's gonna be fifty five to nothing. Chandler: Georgia winning fifty one to six. And I'm coming up with these numbers on the fly. I d I didn't think about these in advance, so I'm just I'm letting my heart speak to me here. So you know, it's good. It's good. Good. Exactly. And Aaron: Yeah. Ryan: I am too I'm I'm coming in blind to get a pure gut reaction like the fans are right now watching. You better not be on SPN and if you are put your phone down, fans. Chandler: Exactly. All the fans playing along with us on the drive to work, do not have your phone open on ESPN scrolling and beating us on the guesses. Focus on the Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: road and guess along with us. Okay. Next up we have Oregon and Boise State and Air I'm not gonna kick to Aaron because Aaron had it last time because I'm a good host and I pay attention to the order. Ryan, take it away. Ryan: Ooh, well, Oregon, Dante Moore. You know, I think a lot of people would Chandler: Here we go. Ryan: say it's a blowout. I'm gonna say, like let's do twenty four and a half. It'll be like the win, but it's like closer than it should be. And then it's like defense is optional. Let's do fifty three points. Aaron: it it's crazy how close we get on this. I have at Oregon as a twenty four point favorite at fifty five point five is the over under. Chandler: Holly dude. I mean I think I have two Vegas riders with me. So we Aaron: Ha ha ha. Chandler: have Oregon at twenty four and a half, so Ryan smacked it on the nose. And Aaron: Ooh, right on the nose. Chandler: Oregon's over or the overunder is fifty one and a half. Aaron: so tighter. Chandler: Yes. So Ryan: I think Oregon, Dante Moore thrives on bad teams. You know, he might fart in the huddle a little, like he's his teammate said. I think they're gonna win by about twenty. Chandler: Oops. Ryan: So let's give it let's do thirty-three to thir thirty five to thirteen. Oregon winning. Aaron: I have this as a stealthy potential upset here. I think Boise State is a team that gets to Oregon. I think a I after the Ash and Gente year two years ago, where they drove that game really close. Oregon came out on top, but right at the end. I think they don't have Ash and Genty here on Boise State, but Boise State can be scrappy. And I think they have got some fire in them. I think O Oregon might be a little high on the what Nick Saban called the rat poison of the hype. And I think Boise State gets in here sneaky. I don't think it's enough for them to pull off the upset here on mine. I have organ taking it 31 to 24, but it is a clincher at the end. I think it is way Ryan: You know, Aaron? Aaron: tighter than it should be. Ryan: I like that. I actually really like that. for my Oregon opinion. I Aaron: Yeah. Ryan: really like that. But also you said there's four upsets and we haven't really had one. Does this count as like it's a close? Okay, that's a okay, okay, okay. Aaron: I've had this is this is number two for me. Yeah. Chandler: He's giving the two potentials, yeah. He's playing it safe and conservative. And also Oregon fans, I don't I don't side with you Aaron: Yeah. No, I have one that's hard. Yeah. Chandler: very much because you know, Ohio State and Oregon fans, you know, they butt heads a little bit, but disregard what these two fellows are saying here. Aaron: Ha ha ha. Chandler: Give me thirty eight to nine, you guys handle business, you take care of it. You might have a slow start, everybody does, week one, but you're gonna take care of business. There's not gonna be a point in the game where we think they're gonna lose. So Ryan: No, no, no. They're gonna handle business. Aaron: What Ryan: I I literally said it was like thirty five to thirteen. Chandler: No no no. This guy right here said that it was it was a stealthy game and it's not gonna be. They're not playing at the blue field. Aaron: Listeners, Ryan: I I like it though. Aaron: come back Monday to the short and comment. Aaron was right. when the game turns out the way I see it. If Chandler: Okay. Aaron: not, don't comment. Don't come back. Chandler: We'll block you. Okay, so Texas and Texas State. A little in state rivalry. The game that's gonna be on Hallmark Plus. What do we have it at, Aaron? Aaron: So I got the line as a thirty-two point five favorite for Texas with the over-underband fifty-five point five. Ryan: Hmm. You know when he initially said that, I was also thinking thirty two point five. I think Texas State's kinda terrible. let's go for the over under forty five. Chandler: Okay. This line the over under is gonna shock you when I tell you the line. The line is twenty nine and a half. Okay. The overunder is fifty nine and a half. So they have Texas State putting up some points. Aaron: Whoa. That makes Ryan: See, I just don't think that's gonna happen. I think Texas's defense is too good and Texas State sucks really bad, so I don't think they're gonna put up that many points. Let's say Texas win Chandler: They have them putting up some points. Ryan: Yeah, apparently they're gonna put a bunch of points. I think Texas wins this game like forty two to seventeen. Clears them. I don't know why they think this is gonna be so close. Or Aaron: See, Ryan: so many points. Aaron: I have this game as closer. And I I think I'm putting my numbers down that Arch Manning might come out a little rusty after last season. We're not going to see him at the peak we saw him, just because I think he's going to warm back up. He seems like a guy who, as he gets reps, he gets more consistent. So I think week one, yeah, he's he's gonna be a little off what we what we've seen from last season's end. And I have some mistakes on defense making this game 31 to 24. Or I'm sorry, Chandler: Mm. Aaron: 35 to 21. It's it's tighter than Chandler: That's tight. Okay. Ryan: Wait, that's still pretty close. Aaron: it should be, but something in my gut's telling me that. Ryan: I'm also very excited to see Cam Coleman thrive at a real offense. Hopefully with Arch kinda. Yeah, even if he comes out slow, Arch firing a little bit, Ryan Wingo there. We wanna see some Cam Coleman. I miss Cam Coleman. Chandler: I got I got thirty seven to twelve here. Not a lot of teams I'm I'm giving I Aaron: I think that's that's a safe Ryan: I like it. Aaron: choice. Like Ryan: That is. Chandler: I'm I'm I'm not giving a lot of touchdowns to these teams. You know, they don't come for free. Okay. And they have a great defensive line. Colin Simmons gonna handle business. Okay. Aaron: yeah. Ryan: He will, he will. He's gonna get back there too. Chandler: Now this is the game of Saturday, I would argue. LSU LSU Clemson. Ryan: What is it? Is it my turn? Chandler: It is Ryan's turn, and this is why Ryan: Okay. Chandler: I I I'm glad it shook out this way because I'm so excited to hear what Ryan's line's gonna say. I'm gonna guess. Ryan: I think the line's gonna I think the line's gonna be LSU twenty eight and a half and the over under fifty. Aaron: I have a very different take here. I have the line at ten point five for LSU with the over Chandler: Hold on, pause. What'd you just say the line was Ryan: Twenty eight and a half for LSU. Chandler: Okay. So I just wanted to make Aaron: And I ha Chandler: sure I heard that right. Aaron: and I have it at ten and a half LSU over under fifty eight point. Chandler: Okay. The line is Ryan: What's the what's the actual one? Chandler: ten. The line is ten. Aaron: Woo. Chandler: And the over under is fifty and a half. Ryan: Yeah, good one. LSU, Aaron: Whoa, low. Ryan: I actually think is super good. I know some people aren't super high on Sam Levitt. I actually think they're gonna hone in Sam Levitt and he's gonna be really great. Also, Clemson's terrible. I know they had the two years with Aaron: Yeah. Ryan: Trevor Lawrence, but other than that, I don't know why people act like they're a good football team. I think LSU might want a hundred to nothing, but Lane will calm it down a little. Let's say 100 nothing, LSU. And I don't like LSU. I don't want them to be Aaron: See Yeah. Ryan: good. Aaron: I gotta go on the Chandler: Give LCU covering. Aaron: Yeah. I have LSU as my villain of the season, unnecessarily, just just an unforced error on them. Them and Texas Tech, I feel like I'm gonna root against all season just because of behavior. But I can see a world where Clemson has had its struggles, but defensively, they've been tight. And my thing is if the defense in these early quarter, like first quarter, early second quarter, is getting penetration and hitting Levit, I think it can rattle. And I think if he gets rattled, it might really slow LSU's offensive capabilities. I think they'll be okay on defense. But Clemson has been known for the sneaky deep ball. They have good routes over the top and the far ends. So I think that can be something where they can catch him sleeping a couple times. I think it's gonna be close. However, I don't I even though it is a potential upset, it's one of the four for me. this one I think sticks with LSU 3528. Chandler: I got LSU thirty one seventeen. I think if this was at Clemson, I'd have a different score. I think it'd be a little tighter. I LSU wins both ways, by more than a touchdown. But I think thirty one seventeen, I think again, 'cause week one is gonna be I think it's gonna be a a little bit of a defensive battle early, and then things will start shaking out. So I don't think it's gonna be a super, super high scoring game, and that's why I think Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: the line's a little tighter. as far as the over under goes. But I think thirty one seventeen. Aaron: I'm shocked to see him as a 10.5 Ryan: Lane's an op Aaron: or what was it? Was Chandler: Ten. Aaron: ten. I'm shocked to see a 10 point. It feels like it should be up in the twenties for LSU for all we've seen, but I I feel better that I was right on that, like closer on the low end. Ryan: Yeah, Chandler: Okay. Ryan: I think Lane is an offensive minded guy, even if Clemson's solid on defense, I think Sam Levitt's almost gonna be more honed in. A lot of the Arizona State stuff last year, he kinda looked like a twenty nineteen Vonex where he was like young and he would kinda have frantic stuff and make like the play of his life, and it just quite wouldn't work, it's an incompletion or an interception. But he would have like the best play ever, like get out of something crazy. So I think that if he's a little bit more calm, That Lane's gonna have go, you know. We might have a Jackson Dart too here and I love me some Jackson Dart. Aaron: I I agree. I I just think that's where if Clemson gets in there and rattles him, they can pull it off. Ryan: That's true, that's true. Aaron: But they have to I think Clemson has to have a great game and LSU has to have a bad game. Chandler: Okay. The Cheese Kurds are coming to Notre Dame. We have Wisconsin and Notre Dame on Sunday night at six thirty. The weekend continues into Monday with college football games. So what do we have Wisconsin and Notre Dame at? Aaron: I got the line for Notre Dame being a 21.5 favorite, and the over-under being 50.5. Ryan: Okay, give me Notre Dame seventeen and a half and give me Wascomps or give me the over under for fifty two. Chandler: line is twenty and a half and the over under is forty seven and a half. Aaron: We're pretty split. We're pretty close. Chandler: So w w what you got what you got the score being? Aaron: So I have this one just Notre Dame takes care of business forty two ten. Notre Dame all day. Ryan: Yeah, I think Notre Dame, they're they're my most improved team going into this year. I actually think they're Aaron: It's true. Ryan: solid. I think the little holes that they had on defense have gotten filled in through the transfer portal. I think that second year CJ Carr and an upgraded receiving quarter, even with Jeremia Love leaving, I think they're gonna be pretty good. I mean, Wisconsin's not a pushover, but they're not very good. So let's have thirty five seventeen. Chandler: forty one seventeen. I think Notre Dame hand Ryan: I like that. Chandler: in Wisconsin's gonna win. Just kidding. I have Ryan: Ha ha. Chandler: Notre Dame winning forty one seventeen. I think it's gonna be fine. I love whi the state of Wisconsin. I love the cheese curds. I love the the food near Madison, Wisconsin. But I just I need the football team to be a little better before I start pulling their way. Aaron: Yeah. Ryan: Same. I miss when they would just run down your throat. Chandler: So until that happens, give me Notre Dame. Okay, we have Louisville, Louisville versus Old Miss. Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: On six thirty, Sunday night. Ryan: I think I know this one. I think someone said it was like seven points. So I'm gonna say seven. And I think the overunder is gonna be like really high. Let's say like sixty. Aaron: I have line as ten point five all miss with fifty two point five as the over under. Chandler: The line is six and a half old miss Aaron: Ooh. Chandler: and fifty five and a half over under. Ryan: I think this is besides Auburn, this is such a disrespectful overunder that they think this is gonna be close game. I even though Lane left, I don't think that like Pete Golding is that bad of a coach. They did very well in the playoffs last year. They still have Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacey. I think they're gonna put up an offensive master class, especially on Louisville, a low tier ACC team. And I think it's going to be. Forty two to twenty one. Forty nine to twenty one. Aaron: See, this is my sneaky upset of week one. This is for me, I think Louisville wants it. I think Ole Miss is gonna play well, but I think we're gonna see a little bit of offseason transition with them of just coming out, getting their bearings, everybody kind of getting on the same page from coaching to players. And I I think Louisville takes him late. I think this game goes into overtime with Louisville taking it thirty one twenty four. Ryan: Wow, this would be the craziest ending ever. Chandler: That'd be phenomenal clip. Ryan: That would be insane. Aaron: And also, it's old miss. So fuck Chandler: Hueso, hueso, hueso. Ryan: I kn I know you hate on miss. I know you hate on mess. Dude, but they're out for blood. They're out for blus they're out for blood this Aaron: I listen, Ryan: year. Aaron: I will say it's gotten the closest thing I've ever felt to sympathy for Ole Miss through all they went through at the end of last season. But I'm not gonna hope for them to win. Chandler: Thirty one twenty four, same score, different outcome. Ole Miss takes it. Aaron: It's fair. I just don't like it. Chandler: Okay. Ryan: You didn't see me close. Chandler: I do. I think Lincoln Keenholz is my guy. He's gonna be slanging that thing around, baby. Ryan: Dude, Aaron: Ha ha. Ryan: linging keyholes is awful. Chandler: No, that's so that's such a bad take. He wasn't he wasn't a starting Ryan: Dude, he's not that good. He's not that good. Aaron: It is. Chandler: quarterback at Ohio State, yes, but he has the tools to do it. He can do it. Ryan: He was there for eight years. She didn't start over Kyle McCord. Chandler: Hey, hey, hey, hey. All this tenacity and hate cannot go towards me in Ohio State. All right. Lincoln King Notes is gonna have a great game. Ryan: It's not at you, it's at Lincoln Kehole's. There's a reason Aaron: Yeah, sin it's an all miss. Ryan: he's not there. There's a reason he's not there. There's a reason Brian Hartley didn't bring him to South Florida. Chandler: Tomato tomato. Give me Lincoln Keen old sober Ashton Daniels. Okay. Moving forward we have SMU versus Florida State on Monday night Ryan: Is this on me? Chandler: at six thirty. Aaron: No, I'm up on this one, I think. I have this one surprisingly close for both these teams, with the line being 4.5 towards SMU with the over-under at 50.5. Ryan: Okay, that's oddly close. I don't think it's gonna be that close. Give me an SMU by ten and fifty over under. Chandler: SMU by three Aaron: Whoo. Chandler: over under fifty two and a half. Aaron: They are seeing this is very tight. This Chandler: This I am excited to watch this game on T V. Aaron: excited's a weird word. I think it's gonna Chandler: I'm excited. And you'll know very quickly why I think so. Aaron: I think this is gonna be sloppy ball. I I have this one. wait, no. Wait. Yeah, Ryan, you're up. Ryan: I mean, I don't think SMU's good. I always think they inflate them a little bit. But I think they're towards the upper of the ACC. I don't think Florida State's very good. They looked very vulnerable last week against New Mexico State. And I also think SMU does have a lot of hype. I think they take this game pretty easily. FSU does run the ball very well, so if they can handle that a little bit, I think That they'll be good. I'm gonna say SMU wins twenty eight to seventeen. Aaron: see, I've got this relatively close to you. I have it as 2821. I think this is a sloppy game of football. I think we're gonna see some rumblings and some tumblins. And I just don't see this as pretty. I will say, sometimes a sloppy game of football is fun to watch. And I think this one's gonna be a game of turnovers, and we're gonna see a lot of them. And just blown plays. Ryan: Yeah. Aaron: Sorry, FSU. You you deserve better. Ryan: Yeah, I'm sorry, FCU. I mean, you gotta have hope every year, but one more time this might not be it for you. Aaron: Maybe next year. Ryan: Maybe next year. Again. Chandler: Give me FSU thirty one twenty four. Aaron: you have this as an upset. Ryan: You know, you know I don't hate that 'cause I don't really care. Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. Chandler: FSU thirty one twenty four. Ash and Daniels builds upon last week. Wasn't the greatest, but he had his flashes. He play he didn't play too bad. I gave him about, you know, a C minus. He's gonna step it up to about a a B minus and he's gonna win the game thirty one twenty four. Ryan: Settler. Chandler: And la last but not least, the team that I left off on accident pre show and Aaron caught me. we have Mississippi State and Louisiana Monroe to end us off. So what do we think, Aaron? Aaron: Well, I mean Miss Faith Mississippi State's got this. I I as much as we have our questions for the season, I don't have a question about this game. I have the line at twenty eight points for Mississippi State and the over under at fifty eight point five. Ryan: Okay, let's go Mississippi State thirteen and a half. And let's have the over under at sixty. Chandler: Thirteen and a half. Aaron: You can't my apology about what I said about Auburn. Ryan: What's the actual what's the actual line? Chandler: Thirteen and a half. Ryan: Fine, like twenty one and a half? Is that better? Sorry, okay. Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: no no no we're locking in thirteen and a half. The line is twenty eight and a half and the over under is fifty four and a half. Apparently he thinks he's playing another SEC team over here, you know, maybe Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: a little Arkansas action. Or Aaron: Hey, Arkansas gives us a run for the money. Ryan: Excited to watch Camario. Aaron: I am too. I am too. Yeah. Chandler: thirteen and a half That's so disrespectful, Aaron. I'm so sorry. That that that handle business by less than two touchdowns? Ryan: Well, I think they take I think they handle business though. I think they handle business. I think they win I think they win by twenty. I was trying to get I feel like Vegas doesn't like I feel like Vegas doesn't think you're good, but I believe in you. Aaron: Hey. Yeah, that's I was gonna say, if this was any other team, Vegas would be against us. However, yeah. Chandler: They had a like a they had a raffle of who wants Ryan: I'm a believer. Chandler: to play the game against Mississippi State of Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: just their city population. Aaron: Yeah. Ryan: Are you serious? Do they actually? I would have entered. That would have been fun. Aaron: No. No. I can't see this one being close. I like all the questions about Mississippi State, they just have to really show up. And as long as they keep Chandler: Yeah. Aaron: the ball on their side of the line, like they don't turn it over every play, this game should come out to forty two fourteen. And I like fourteen I think is generous. I'm giving myself some some coping for Saturday here, just in case it goes a different way. Ryan: Yeah, I think you'll handle business. Give me thirty four seventeen. Aaron: Ooh You chose violence this week. Ryan: That's n no no. I No, no, no, no, no, no. I think Chandler: That's so crazy. Ryan: you go in hand of alright. I'm not trying to make this like a bad alright. Chandler: Think you handle business? Aaron: No, it's fair. Chandler: Give me Louisiana Monroe twenty-one to seventeen. Look, thirty-eight to nine. Aaron: No. Now Ryan: Alright. Alright. See, that's not nice. Okay. Kelly Chandler: Mississippi State. Ryan: Jones, pick six. Aaron: I could see I Chandler: That's I don't mind that. Aaron: could see that. But Ryan: Might be some Kelly Jones. Chandler: Okay. Aaron: we we struggled last season against some of our openers, so here's hoping. Chandler: So that wraps up our predictions. We had thirteen for you. Ryan: Woohoo. Chandler: We're going through we're gonna wa we're gonna keep an eye on all thirteen of those games and of course all the other games going on throughout the weekend. Just because there's so many, I don't think it's fair that we pick out a couple that we're gonna have reviewed for on the Monday episode. I think we're gonna watch and as things happen, as highlights occur, as upsets occur, as closer games than we thought occur, we'll come back on Monday's episode and we'll have a breakdown, a more in depth breakdown of a c a handful of games for you guys. So be sure to tune in for that. And until then, Ryan and I are gonna be working, mainly Ryan, on getting all these short form clips out for all the lines we just talked about. We're gonna put those all over social media. So be sure to engage with those. Leave a comment on those of how bad they were, how wrong the lines were, and how Baylor upset Auburn, according to Aaron's guess. And Boise State. Aaron: Disrespect Ryan: And shout Aaron: for disrespect this year. Ryan: out Will. And shout Chandler: And Boise State, yes. Ryan: out Georgia Tech and Will. Chandler: And shout out Georgia Tech, Colorado. We think Georgia Tech's gonna handle business. Aaron: All day. No question. Ryan: They with one of the most known logos in college football and they wear it with pride. She knows she does. She's from Chandler: Until next time. Ryan: Canada. Bye bye. Chandler: She's from Canada.
