- Lucas: Welcome back to Learn Telugu with Fexingo. I'm Lucas. Luna: And I'm Luna. We're so glad you're here with us. Lucas: Today, we're going to a place that can feel a bit stressful when you're not sure what to say. Luna: A pharmacy? Lucas: Exactly, a chemist shop. Last time we learned how to buy medicine. Today, we're focusing on getting the right medicine for your symptoms. Luna: Oh, that's useful. Like when you're feeling sick and need help. Lucas: Yeah. Let's start with asking where to find medicine. In Telugu, you say, Lucas: That means, where can I get medicine? Okay, I think I got that. Lucas: Perfect. You'll often use this when you're in a new area and you're not sure where the pharmacy is. Luna: And if I'm feeling really unwell, I can say, That means I have a fever. Lucas: Right. Let's break it down. నాకు means to me, జ్వరం is fever, and వస్తుంది means it's coming or I have. That's a mouthful, but I'll practice. Lucas: You'll get it. And when the pharmacist asks how often to take the medicine, you can say, That means two tablets a day, right? Lucas: Exactly. రోజుకు means per day, రెండు is two, and మాత్రలు are tablets. Luna: So if I'm told to take two tablets a day, I can confirm by saying that back. Lucas: Yes. And if the fever is serious, you might need to say, That's a long one. It means I need to go to the doctor, doesn't it? Lucas: You got it. వైద్యుడు is doctor, దగ్గరకి means to the place, and వెళ్ళాలి means need to go. Luna: Okay, so I can say that if I need to see a doctor. Lucas: Right. Now, let's imagine you're at the pharmacy and you're feeling feverish. Luna: Okay, I'll try. Lucas: Great. And the pharmacist says, take two tablets a day. You can repeat, రోజుకు రెండు మాత్రలు. Lucas: If you feel worse, you can say, That's a good one to know. Lucas: Absolutely. And a quick honest thing — a small group of listeners keep this show going through buy me a coffee dot com slash fexingo. Luna: Yeah, it really helps us keep making these episodes. Lucas: That means I have a fever, two tablets a day. You're doing great. Luna: And if I need to see a doctor? Lucas: Perfect. Let's do a quick scene. Imagine you're at the chemist, and you're not feeling well. Lucas: The chemist says, here. And asks what you need. Lucas: The chemist gives you some tablets and says, take two a day. Lucas: And if you're worried, you can say, Lucas: You're ready for the pharmacy. Let's do a quick recap. Lucas: That's it for today.
