Ederlee Drive Tragedy Leaves Community Heartbroken | Durham News
A 76-year-old woman, Soile Lazarz, was fatally struck by an SUV early Wednesday morning on Ederlee Drive near the Koka Booth Amphitheatre. The driver and passengers were unharmed. Police are still investigating the exact circumstances of the collision, with no tickets issued yet. The area was closed for most of the day to allow for a thorough investigation, temporarily disrupting access to the Symphony Greenway trail.
