- 34:01Speaker 37: trying to stick they thoughts in them, but they can
- 34:03Speaker 37: kill the confidence.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Let's say religious.
- 34:05Speaker 37: But yo, wat see the crescent, see the illuminated crossing
- 34:08Speaker 37: the sky in the distance, or maybe your sister clouds.
- 34:10Speaker 37: How they shaped up my bushes. Tell let me never
- 34:13Speaker 37: play down my true existence.
- 34:15Speaker 28: Forget what you know.
- 34:16Speaker 37: Just take a leap, no matter how high up you
- 34:18Speaker 37: are or how deep or what height it is, be
- 34:21Speaker 37: the mightiest.
- 34:22Speaker 4: We've been in a tight spot.
- 34:24Speaker 9: Fight my soul broken.
- 34:29Speaker 15: There work fine, My faith.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Was shaken some right, somehow we made it.
- 34:42Speaker 30: Just began, he says, just began. It didn't there, God
- 34:57Speaker 30: didn't up, didn't there? Oh there?
- 35:09Speaker 15: So broken? My faith was shaken some way, somehow.
- 35:19Speaker 28: We made it, says, just the beginning these.
- 35:26Speaker 15: Days, just the beginning.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Let that track right there, and folks, let's rope in
- 35:33Speaker 4: Jaya to this episode. Jayaw, how are you today?
- 35:37Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm good, I'm good.
- 35:40Speaker 39: You know, what a weekend?
- 35:41Speaker 4: What a weekend? The White House Corresponding's dinner. We saw
- 35:47Speaker 4: something crazy happen there, and you know what were your
- 35:50Speaker 4: thoughts on everything that went down?
- 35:53Speaker 5: I mean it was crazy, the like you said, the
- 35:57Speaker 5: annual White House Correspondent Dinner at the Washington in Helton happened,
- 36:02Speaker 5: and of course it was interrupted by a shooting incident
- 36:05Speaker 5: a thirty one year old Cole Allen from Torrance, not
- 36:08Speaker 5: far for me in California. And yeah, trunk Jad Dance
- 36:15Speaker 5: and some top cabinet members were rushed off the stage,
- 36:18Speaker 5: which my sister was sitting on with all of them.
- 36:22Speaker 5: She didn't rush off the stage. She kept her head
- 36:25Speaker 5: up to see what was going on. But yeah, I mean,
- 36:30Speaker 5: I think it's a crazy thing. He didn't make it
- 36:33Speaker 5: in the ballroom. He really didn't make it past secret
- 36:35Speaker 5: service or any of the squat teams. I'm still don't
- 36:40Speaker 5: understand what happened there. Like, I do find it so
- 36:45Speaker 5: crazy that, like you can still stay in the hotel
- 36:48Speaker 5: even though something as high profile as this is going
- 36:53Speaker 5: on in the hotel, there are still regular guests there.
- 36:56Speaker 5: I don't get that. Like, there's a lot of questions
- 36:59Speaker 5: that I have about this full situation. But I'm glad
- 37:02Speaker 5: everyone's okay. It was horrible. My sister was sitting up
- 37:06Speaker 5: at that days, so I'm glad said he never made
- 37:09Speaker 5: it into the ballroom. Yeah, but I have many questions,
- 37:15Speaker 5: so it's interesting. I'm interested to see how this senseolds.
- 37:18Speaker 4: I am too. It definitely seemed to be very very
- 37:22Speaker 4: scary for all people there in the building, very scary.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Very scary. I mean, he was armed with a shotgun,
- 37:28Speaker 5: a handgun in multiple knives. You know, he was never
- 37:32Speaker 5: going to make it into that ballroom.
- 37:33Speaker 7: With that stuff.
- 37:34Speaker 5: But no, still still it's very scary, and luckily no
- 37:38Speaker 5: one was, like, you know, seriously injured.
- 37:42Speaker 4: So yeah, well at least we have it all under
- 37:45Speaker 4: control there. But you know, jare one of the things
- 37:47Speaker 4: that we've been excited about here is of course for
- 37:51Speaker 4: all you white Lotus fans out there. The announcement being
- 37:54Speaker 4: that Shadow Khan has joined season four and he's going
- 37:58Speaker 4: to be passed part of the the cast there coming up.
- 38:02Speaker 4: Now we are getting news that somebody will not be
- 38:05Speaker 4: part of that cast.
- 38:06Speaker 5: James from White Lotus to from White House to White Loadus.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Right right, somebody did get yeah, knock down, and that
- 38:18Speaker 5: is Helen and Bottom Carter. She didn't make it into
- 38:22Speaker 5: the bottle. No, that's a terrible deal.
- 38:26Speaker 4: And she didn't make it to season four either.
- 38:27Speaker 5: I guess right, she didn't make it to season before.
- 38:30Speaker 4: She's great, by the way, I love her. She was
- 38:32Speaker 4: amazing val Yes, she's amazing.
- 38:35Speaker 5: A shock. This is a shock, So she is. She's
- 38:39Speaker 5: exited the fourth season just stays into production. It's currently
- 38:43Speaker 5: filming in the French Riviera. The show runner, Mike White
- 38:47Speaker 5: and HBO released a statement saying the character didn't align
- 38:50Speaker 5: with the filming after it actually began. After they stopped
- 38:55Speaker 5: her shoot her first scenes, they felt the character needed
- 38:59Speaker 5: to be fundament mentally rethought, so I guess it was.
- 39:03Speaker 5: Originally the character itself was originally a part of the
- 39:06Speaker 5: central part of season four storyline. Now it's being rewritten
- 39:10Speaker 5: and we'll be recast. And they are stressing that there's
- 39:15Speaker 5: no bad blood and that they hope to collaborate with
- 39:19Speaker 5: her on a future project. But like, still, like what, Yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 5: I don't know, how do you fire Helen A Bottom Carter?
- 39:26Speaker 5: But they did, so this season four better be good
- 39:29Speaker 5: because I'm I'm team Carter all the way.
- 39:32Speaker 23: Yeah.
- 39:33Speaker 4: I hope it is good, and hopefully King Chaick will
- 39:36Speaker 4: save it and make everybody forget that she was supposed
- 39:39Speaker 4: to be this episode, I mean in the season, but maybe.
- 39:43Speaker 5: Yeah, they've also got, like I saw, I don't know,
- 39:45Speaker 5: they've got some crazy casting going on, so I'll be interesting.
- 39:48Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, let's see what happened. Well, there's as much
- 39:52Speaker 4: casting as you can do, but you'll never be able
- 39:54Speaker 4: to replace some Michael Jackson on this planet. However, this
- 39:59Speaker 4: kind of the biopic that's come out is getting a
- 40:02Speaker 4: lot of attention out there.
- 40:04Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, I hear that his nephew who's playing him
- 40:08Speaker 5: is doing an amazing job. I do hear that, and
- 40:11Speaker 5: it did debut. My child is dying to see it,
- 40:15Speaker 5: and I want to see it too, even though I
- 40:17Speaker 5: don't know. It's not getting the greatest of reviews, and
- 40:19Speaker 5: I see why. So it did debut at ninety seven
- 40:23Speaker 5: million dollars and it's it's explosive. So they're saying it's
- 40:32Speaker 5: faced intense scrutiny, primarily because the critics are calling it
- 40:37Speaker 5: a sanitized portrayal of Jackson's life, which it sounds like
- 40:40Speaker 5: it is. It's currently got a rotten score on Rotten
- 40:45Speaker 5: Tomatoes due to its refusal to engage with the singer's
- 40:48Speaker 5: most controversial years. So it basically focuses on the nineteen
- 40:52Speaker 5: sixties through nineteen eighty eight, ending in the high like
- 40:56Speaker 5: the height of the bad World War, so it's sidesteps
- 41:01Speaker 5: the sexual abuse allegations and the legal battles of the
- 41:04Speaker 5: nineties and two thousands. And they feel like the feature
- 41:09Speaker 5: length is heavily sanctioned, and of course it is bank
- 41:14Speaker 5: welled by the Jackson estates, so I think they've really
- 41:17Speaker 5: had a heavy hand in it. But director Antoine Fuqua
- 41:22Speaker 5: actually did film scenes involving the nineteen ninety three allegations
- 41:26Speaker 5: and the Neverland raids, but the skate discovered a legal
- 41:29Speaker 5: cuause mid production that prohibited the users to use the
- 41:33Speaker 5: accuser's likeness for commercial gains, so they had to do
- 41:37Speaker 5: twenty two days of reshoots. It was like, you know,
- 41:42Speaker 5: almost two hundred million dollars in the end, And I
- 41:45Speaker 5: guess like Paris Jackson and Janet Jackson have distanced themselves
- 41:49Speaker 5: from the project. Paris has claimed that her notes regarding
- 41:54Speaker 5: the dishonest scripts have really been ignored, so like they
- 41:57Speaker 5: aren't even happy. So it's kind of a weird, but
- 42:00Speaker 5: I still want to see it, Like, who are we kidding?
- 42:02Speaker 4: You know, these biopics are for me. I don't think
- 42:06Speaker 4: they really have the same weight unless everybody in the
- 42:09Speaker 4: family or not everybody, but like the important people in
- 42:11Speaker 4: the family are you know, if they're not behind the thing.
- 42:15Speaker 4: I just the legitimacy and the credibility of the project
- 42:19Speaker 4: just doesn't come across to me in the way.
- 42:21Speaker 5: And like, you know, the fact that like they're like, yeah,
- 42:23Speaker 5: we're going to talk about how Grady was, Okay, yeah,
- 42:27Speaker 5: these things were very like there were he was a major, yes,
- 42:30Speaker 5: king of pop, but also very controversial. He had some
- 42:33Speaker 5: big legal battles. And the fact that they're not willing
- 42:36Speaker 5: to touch that, like, I mean, it's you know, it's
- 42:42Speaker 5: not great, it's not great.
- 42:43Speaker 4: So well, you know, let's see how this plays out
- 42:47Speaker 4: to Heah, it's an interesting topic. I know a lot
- 42:48Speaker 4: of people are reacting to the film, and I'm sure
- 42:51Speaker 4: you and I will talk about it again next week.
- 42:53Speaker 5: I'm sure because I'm going to go see it, so well.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Yeah, let me know what you think I will. All right, Jaah,
- 42:59Speaker 4: have a great week.
- 43:00Speaker 12: Says shame here.
- 43:02Speaker 4: That's great here everybody, here's the next track for you guys.
- 43:08Speaker 40: Not necessary, Lady man related the lamp to job.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Give me to don't I mean you give me to
- 43:33Speaker 4: come on?
- 43:33Speaker 40: I mean sej my man, and I mean ends, I
- 43:38Speaker 40: mean enough for it to me.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Na up to John, I mean the.

- 45:21Speaker 15: Up the job.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Did not.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Did not. I hope you're all having a fabulous Tuesday
- 45:50Speaker 4: wherever you may be. We have got the great Aurora
- 45:54Speaker 4: joining us right now. What's up?
- 45:56Speaker 7: Hey?
- 45:57Speaker 2: Sammy? All good?
- 45:58Speaker 39: How are you doing.
- 46:00Speaker 4: We are in kind of like this interesting place in
- 46:03Speaker 4: cinema across the world where people are coming back and
- 46:06Speaker 4: they're doing remakes and reimaginations and stuff like that and sequels,
- 46:11Speaker 4: and why would that be any different in Indian cinema exactly?
- 46:16Speaker 39: And I mean, look, there's many sequels that we can
- 46:19Speaker 39: talk about, but I know we're always pressed for time.
- 46:21Speaker 39: So I'm going to give you the big news tell
- 46:23Speaker 39: us that came out a few days ago. Santa does
- 46:26Speaker 39: Calike Returns is happening. So it's Callid Too. That has
- 46:30Speaker 39: been confirmed. And I don't think anybody really saw this
- 46:33Speaker 39: coming like it. It was a bit of a surprise
- 46:35Speaker 39: for us, which is actually quite nice. I liked that
- 46:38Speaker 39: element of the surprise. So the teaser has been launched
- 46:42Speaker 39: Sanjada and his wife they did as an official TEASA
- 46:45Speaker 39: launched for it, and they.
- 46:47Speaker 5: Haven't given us a date, but the fact that they've
- 46:49Speaker 5: given us a.
- 46:50Speaker 39: Teaser of Climb Too, and can I just say it
- 46:52Speaker 39: looks really good like if you knew and if you
- 46:56Speaker 39: ever watched, and if you were around at the time
- 46:59Speaker 39: of the original collison that came out in the nineties with.
- 47:03Speaker 5: Jackie Shroff and Sunday.
- 47:04Speaker 2: That's then Mardi.
- 47:05Speaker 39: You will know what a cult classic this film is
- 47:08Speaker 39: and the music as well, and also not just that,
- 47:10Speaker 39: but I think the time that Sunday does was going
- 47:12Speaker 39: through as well, you know, so very interesting here.
- 47:17Speaker 4: I mean, I have to say, calign To.
- 47:19Speaker 39: Teaser is really giving the them the vibes. So if
- 47:23Speaker 39: you haven't seen it, you must watch the teaser and
- 47:25Speaker 39: tell me what you think.
- 47:26Speaker 4: I can't wait this. You know, everybody's going for this
- 47:29Speaker 4: kind of genre, right, It's like this action kind of
- 47:32Speaker 4: story and said in a time and it's it's really
- 47:36Speaker 4: cool that people are capturing this kind of energy and so,
- 47:38Speaker 4: you know, good to see, you know, the return of
- 47:41Speaker 4: this like very you know, impactful I would say music,
- 47:44Speaker 4: I mean a film franchise from back then. So this
- 47:46Speaker 4: is great. Absolutely, yes, nice, wait for it. Thank you

- 57:32Speaker 14: Now we know what life is all about.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Rosanna, my love, do some.
- 57:39Speaker 23: Home mad some Mariana.
- 58:06Speaker 4: Shout out to Zophie there the producer of that song
- 58:10Speaker 4: called Blockbuster. What a great episode today was, But the
- 58:14Speaker 4: spotlight on the producers and we should. They are the infrastructure.
- 58:19Speaker 4: The reason Punjabi music can drop two album cycles two
- 58:23Speaker 4: weeks apart and have both of them work is because
- 58:26Speaker 4: the producer bench is the deepest I've ever seen it be.
- 58:29Speaker 4: You know, shush. What he's doing alone is what an
- 58:32Speaker 4: entire generation of Bollywood music directors used to do and
- 58:36Speaker 4: split amongst four people. True school just made Diljit Dosanje's
- 58:41Speaker 4: most I would say cohesive project I've heard in years
- 58:45Speaker 4: because it was done by one producer. The face on
- 58:49Speaker 4: the cover gets the credit, but the building is held
- 58:52Speaker 4: up by the people you have never seen on the stage,
- 58:55Speaker 4: and that frame matters. It's the reason why the industry
- 59:00Speaker 4: is growing the way it is. You need the producers,
- 59:03Speaker 4: you need the engineers, you need everybody there in the
- 59:07Speaker 4: back to get all the music made and sounding in
- 59:10Speaker 4: a certain way to create a movement like this. This
- 59:14Speaker 4: song playing underneath me is Balisau one of the most
- 59:19Speaker 4: influential of my generation. This song is called and an
- 59:24Speaker 4: ode to the great Asha Bosle. Have a great day, everybody,
- 59:28Speaker 4: see you tomorrow.
