- 0:03in the peptide world, like it's all over the place.
- 0:05You can't get away from it.
- 0:06And most people don't even understand what a peptide is.
- 0:09They're hearing this buzzword all over the place.
- 0:12And now we're seeing the cosmetics industry is starting to, you know, peptide infusion.
- 0:17I mean, down there is AN1, you know, they've got their big patent or whatever with the O101, or OS01, they've got like the skin therapy form of that.
- 0:25They're down there.
- 0:25I just walked by there just to get here, you know, but yeah, I mean, dude, peptides are all the rage.
- 0:29And honestly, as I spoke about this morning, and I'll just tell you right now,
- 0:33They've become mainstream consciousness for one specific reason.
- 0:36A lot of people won't talk about this because it's a taboo subject, but it's due to vaccine injury.
- 0:40So many people are injured.
- 0:42I would argue there's two other reasons.
- 0:44Go ahead.
- 0:44That's the biggest one.
- 0:45I agree.
- 0:46Obviously, metabolic dysregulation and insulin resistance is a major thing.
- 0:49But that's what really catapulted them into mainstream consciousness, where people are looking for alternative forms of healing.
- 0:55I agree with that.
- 0:56And I agree that peptides became a big thing.
- 0:58Yeah.
- 1:00Yeah.
- 1:01It's all from since 2023 and on.
- 1:03And as you know, because we've talked about it, but like my book came out and again, no coincidences, but it came out literally on February 1st, 2023.
- 1:11That's amazing.
- 1:12And it exploded on Amazon because, like, it was the first.
- 1:14Because everybody was looking for it.
- 1:15Yeah, exactly.
- 1:16I mean, and now, subsequently, there's been some amazing books written.
- 1:19And, you know, shout out to all the authors that have written other follow-up books and stuff like that.
- 1:22I have a book on GLP-1 peptides coming.
- 1:24It's almost done.
- 1:25It's probably within a couple of months.
- 1:26Second reason peptides have become a big deal.
- 1:27Yeah.
- 1:28Exactly.
- 1:29And we'll talk about that.
- 1:30But like, unfortunately, as you know, most of the media on GLPs is negative.
- 1:35Correct.
- 1:35And it should be the opposite.
- 1:36And we talked about that this morning because like the two stage and three stage and not to just rabbit hole and not talk about other stuff.
- 1:43But these are life altering transformative drugs if used in a clinically precise dose.
- 1:48Correct.
- 1:49And as you know, it has to be microdosed.
- 1:50And there's all sorts of things.
- 1:52You know, I even have the Ten Commandments or GLP ones that we could talk about.
- 1:55But I mean, the truth is, is that most people do them incorrectly, Mark, because the doctors that are prescribing them to them are looking to make a quick tower.
- 2:04And they start high, go higher, you know, saturate obviously the manufacturer's pockets, the provider has to get paid, and then of course the pharmacy rep that comes in and pushes them.
- 2:13And then as you know now, the big deal is
- 2:16For two years, they couldn't make them fast enough, so they gave compounders the ability to do emergency use, and now they're pulling that out of the compounders' hands.
- 2:23Which gets to the third reason why I think peptides have become such a big conversation, and that is the FDA stepping in and actually starting to make a scuttlebutt about it.
- 2:31And literally as of in that same thing in September of 2023, they said these 27, you know, most used, most source, most known or well-known peptides are now in classification B, which means may cause harm or not shown to be clinically efficacious, which, you know, and I know is a total lie.
- 2:47I mean, absolute total lie.
- 2:48And again, why are they doing that?
- 2:50Because they cannot control from a patent standpoint, the actual manufacturing and the money making, which with GLPs, they can.
- 2:56Well, and peptides actually compete with pharma.
- 2:59100%.
- 2:59Sorry.
- 2:59That's kind of what we're really talking about here.
- 3:01Of course.
- 3:02and they wouldn't compete with pharma pharma could actually patent them and sell them right but which is the reason to regulate them because then pharma will patent them 100 pharma will sell them and then profit from them i don't know if they can because i mean they will list the glps and they will with the other ones i mean i think right now and this is just my personal opinion and i've been using for the record for the audience i've been using peptides since literally 2004 so it's been my 21st year i tell a lot of people that and they're like what you know
- 3:26I mean, it was like back then it was just like when I was using therapeutic testosterone and you were learning your way on how to use, you know, TRT, TOT, whatever you want to call it.
- 3:34We were using, you know, everybody was crowdsourcing like these other things.
- 3:38And Ipamorelin came out in 2004 and we're like, oh, this is something you use along with testosterone and you get better fat loss and better muscle building.
- 3:45Right.
- 3:45So obviously things have transpired and we move now into where people are using GLPs for all the amazing reasons that we talk about.
- 3:52Yeah.
- 3:53But the truth, the real truth is, is that most people do not use GLPs correctly.
- 3:59Big Pharma wants people to continually use them incorrectly because then they continually make money, right?
- 4:04Because people are sicker, fatter, more inflamed, more depressed, all these other things.
- 4:08And they never end up finding out that you could use GLP for the exact opposite reasons and still get much better results.
- 4:14Well, and part of the issue, I think GLPs are a great way for a person to support behavioral changes.
- 4:21100%.
- 4:22The problem is we're not using GLPs as a way to support behavioral changes.
- 4:26We're using it as a cheat code.
- 4:27Exactly.
- 4:28Exactly.
- 4:28And I literally just watched a staff member of ours who's been on what was trisepatide, I think is what she's been on, which is a GLP-1 agonist, right?
- 4:38GLP-2, yeah.
- 4:38Exactly.
- 4:39And she's been on trisepatide for nearly a year.
- 4:41Mm-hmm.
- 4:42And I'm like, you can't even think straight.
- 4:44Like you're so undernourished.
- 4:47Like you don't eat food, but you still drink alcohol.
- 4:50Yeah, I mean, exactly.
- 4:51You'll have a bite of lasagna at dinner and two drinks.
- 4:55And it's like, and that's your definition of weight loss.
- 4:56I'm like, or it also means that you probably lost 40% of your muscle mass over the last 12 months.
- 5:02There's four things that people have to do when you use a GLP-1, and these are non-negotiable, and the smart doctors that understand this, and thankfully there are some out there, say that it's malpractice if you don't offer this to your patients.
- 5:13But number one is you absolutely have to eat enough protein.
- 5:18So you've got and by enough protein.
- 5:20Tell us.
- 5:20Yeah, I'll explain it exactly.
- 5:22I mean, the clinical statement would be enough to support your actual lean body mass.
- 5:27But most people don't know what that means because they can't configure how many pounds of muscle they have in their body, especially if they're metabolically deranged.
- 5:33If we could approximate a gram of protein for each body weight.
- 5:35The answer is your goal body weight.
- 5:37One gram per pound for goal body weight.
- 5:39So if you're 300 pounds and you're a woman and you should be 140 pounds, then obviously your grams of protein is 140.
- 5:45But as you said, most people are protein malnourished.
- 5:47The second thing is, and this is I think the biggest thing, is if you start a GLP-1 peptide, because they're so profound in the ability to lose fat and of course lean tissue, if you're not hormonally optimized, you're on the wrong path.
- 5:59And so, so many of these people see doctors.
- 6:02Dr. Justin Marchegiani Exactly.
- 6:03So many of them do not see doctors that know how to hormonally optimize them.
- 6:07As you know, Mark, most of them don't even know they're not hormonally optimized.
- 6:10They don't know they have a hormone deficiency.
- 6:12So that's already now down the second path.
- 6:14You're you're you're doomed with those two things not met.
- 6:17The three and four is number three is are you weight training?
- 6:20Are you doing bone bearing resistance training?
- 6:22If you're not doing weight training, you're going to lose muscle again.
- 6:25Then the number four is, are you living insulin control?
- 6:28Because if you're not living insulin controlled, like you said, you're eating pizza, you're drinking alcohol, you're not changing your dietary strategy.
- 6:35And so all of those things lead up to hormonal loss, muscle loss, dysregulation, thyroid dysregulation, hair loss.
- 6:44I mean, did you hear all these stories, all these lawsuits, there's massive lawsuits.
- 6:47You know, they're already in category class action lawsuits where they're going after Lily.
- 6:52They're going after not Manjaro, but what's the company?
- 6:57The company that makes those epic, whatever.
- 6:59I can't think of them right now.
- 7:00But both of those two are the biggest primary and they're all going to get thrown out because once they have actual medical licensed people as the, you know, in cross-examination, they're going to be like, all of this stuff is written.
- 7:12on the actual contraindications of what you must do, but nobody follows it because like you said, we live in an easy button world now.
- 7:19Nobody wants to do the work.
- 7:20They want the cheat code.
- 7:22A man is truly thriving when he's becoming better than he was yesterday.
- 7:25100%.
- 7:25And peptides are a hack for that.
- 7:27Yes.
- 7:27Particularly, you mentioned Deepa Moreland, but Tessa Moreland, CJC, all of these other types of peptides that when used correctly,
- 7:35are increasing muscle muscle produces greater levels of testosterone testosterone produces greater levels of achievement like all of these things work together and you're the peptide guy yep so i'm i'm a i'm a peptide guy i i'll say i probably play in it compared to you sure but i i will say like this particular finger like i literally cut the top of my finger off the day before easter jesus and was in the er and everything else because it wouldn't stop bleeding like you can't even tell which finger it is that's incredible um it's a month
- 8:03That's awesome.
- 8:04You know, and it's funny because like people don't think like part of it is like, well, that's just, I mean, I'm the Wolverine, right?
- 8:09Like I just heal so fast.
- 8:10But it also means that the minute I came back from the hospital, I also did a DHKCU.
- 8:14Exactly.
- 8:15Mixed with a BPC-157, right?
- 8:17Little TB-500.
- 8:18Like got it all injected and was like, okay, let's grow a finger back.
- 8:22And I did like in no time flat.
- 8:24It's just back.
- 8:24You can't even tell that anything was wrong with it.
- 8:26And it was like, I mean, I've got a hangnail here, but, but aside from that, it's like, you can't even tell anything.
- 8:31And peptides are a way that we can optimize.
- 8:35Yes.
- 8:36And, and for me, like I use peptides, not because it's, you know, some weird cheat code, not because I'm trying to replace an actual good behavior, but to enhance what I'm already doing.
- 8:46To slow down your aging process.
- 8:47I mean, I mean, they're they're they're incredible, man.
- 8:50I mean, like, it's funny because you talk about that, like and for me and you, it's nothing.
- 8:54Right.
- 8:54But for 80 percent of the public, they have no idea.
- 8:56What were those letters?
- 8:58They have no idea that we live in a world where we heal six to ten times faster than they do.
- 9:04They have no idea that we live in a world where we literally can inject three times a week GLP-3 or retitutide, whatever you want to call it, and be leaner, more metabolically active, have better energy, have less brain fog, have absolutely no food noise, completely control our appetite, fast for 20, 24 hours, whatever we need to do.
- 9:23I mean, that's the world we're in now.
- 9:25I mean, the world is separated with like those who have the awareness or the knowledge, the gnosis, and those that don't.
- 9:30I watch how someone like you or me or my dad or someone who I know, and like I've got several friends that are deep into peptides.
- 9:37Yeah, yeah.
- 9:38And it's like, but it almost becomes this little bro network where everybody shares what they're doing because they're like, well, what have you been doing?
- 9:43Well, I've been doing this.
- 9:44Oh, I'll have to try that.
- 9:45That's literally what it is.
- 9:46Because it's this trial and error kind of thing, and we're injecting, you know, whatever.
- 9:50But it's funny to me.
- 9:51Like I live in a high-rise building downtown, and a buddy of mine that lives a few floors up calls me one day, dude, like I've got this pain in my elbow, like I'm just having this issue.
- 9:59He's right.
- 9:59What do I do?
- 10:00Blah, blah, blah.
- 10:01Like, it didn't even dawn on me.
- 10:02Like, is there a peptide that I can be doing?
- 10:03I'm like, well, I'm out of town right now, buddy.
- 10:05But do me a favor.
- 10:06I'll call the front desk, have him send you up to my place.
- 10:08Go in the fridge.
- 10:09There's a little vial.
- 10:09It's blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 10:11That's awesome.
- 10:11But then you're like, wait a minute.
- 10:12I don't know if he can actually do this.
- 10:14He can, because he actually uses peptides.
- 10:15He just didn't have what I suggested.
- 10:18And he's like, all right.
- 10:20And he's like, are you sure?
- 10:21Dude, like.
- 10:22Yeah, yeah.
- 10:23next day he's thank you so much i'm like and he's like i'll pay you i'm like i don't care about money like that's not the case like i'm just glad you got it it's like but it almost like we've got these little magic potions in the refrigerator that the rest of the world doesn't understand like this is like harry potter crap it is harry potter dude that we've got this stuff that we're like living these weird immortal lives literally because we just understand you know micro protein
