  Speaker 2: and your focus and your purpose, then you can go

  Speaker 2: on about your business. Then when the distraction comes, you

  Speaker 2: can catch yourself. Now. Don't mean you ain't gonna fall

  Speaker 2: privy or fall prey to some of your distractions, because

  Speaker 2: you will, but you will have a goal in mind

  Speaker 2: and aspiration that makes you go. Hold on, man, I

  Speaker 2: got to stay focused here because what I really want

  Speaker 2: while I'm really trying to go the thing that I'm

  Speaker 2: really after, this new little thing that's being introduced, this

  Speaker 2: you forget something, if you politely ask the person behind you, hey, man,

  Speaker 2: hold my place? Most people say, fine, Ye'll go ahead,

  Speaker 2: and when you come back, they don't have a problem.

  Speaker 2: See your problem is is you want to get out

  Speaker 2: the line, go do something, then come back and just

  Speaker 2: get up in the line further up than you work

  Speaker 2: or cut somebody. Now you got a problem because see

  Speaker 2: But see the thing with God is God don't do that.

  Speaker 2: your place. When you make a mistake and you fall

  Speaker 2: off the line, God holds your place. But if you

  Speaker 2: ain't got no dreams aspiration, if you ain't got no place,

  Speaker 2: a place for you, but you gotta come to it.

  Speaker 2: See some people, Well, here's what I'm saying. If you

  Speaker 2: got a goal of aspiration to dream and you fall

  Speaker 2: off track momentarily, you can get back to that because

  Speaker 2: God knows where you left off. Now you may have

  Speaker 2: to accomplish a few more things since you stopped for

  Speaker 2: a long period of time, but God knows where you

  Speaker 2: left off. You can get back on track. I look, man,

  Speaker 2: this dream of being on TV since I was a kid,

  Speaker 2: and it got off track. Now it got off track.

  Speaker 2: I just kept it as one of the dreams. And

  Speaker 2: in some real dog moments when it looked like it

  Speaker 2: wasn't gonna happen, all I was hanging on to is

  Speaker 2: just the hope that one day it could. But that's

  Speaker 2: what faith is really about. Faith is the belief in
• 3:48
  Speaker 2: things that you cannot see. But faith gives you the
• 3:52
  Speaker 2: confidence to keep hoping. Man, Sometimes it just keep hope alive.

  Speaker 2: Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson say it, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man,

  Speaker 2: it's just the hope. I was hanging on a hope.

  Speaker 2: And I'm talking about when it got real ugly and

  Speaker 2: funky out there for me, when it looked like I

  Speaker 2: wasn't gonna ever make it, and all of the facts

  Speaker 2: was in and everything pointed in the direction you not

  Speaker 2: gonna make it. You done really messed up this time.

  Speaker 2: Then I sat there and I just hung on to

  Speaker 2: the hope. But man, that's what I'm saying. If you

  Speaker 2: got a dream on aspiration or vision or something, when

  Speaker 2: you fall off track and you wanna go get back

  Speaker 2: in line, God holds your place. He knew I was

  Speaker 2: off tracking, out of line, but he said, okay, here's

  Speaker 2: where we stopped. You wanna be on TV. Now, when

  Speaker 2: you get it together and you quit tripping, and you
• 4:46
  Speaker 2: come and your turn to me, I'm gonna hold your place,
• 4:48
  Speaker 2: put you back in line. Then we're gonna finish the journey.

  Speaker 2: That took me a lot longer to get here than
• 4:53
  Speaker 2: I wanted to. But then it was necessary because I
• 4:56
  Speaker 2: needed all of them mishaps to happen to me along
• 4:58
  Speaker 2: the way. So when I got on the radio one day,

  Speaker 2: which I did not see coming, Steve Harvey got a
• 5:03
  Speaker 2: radio show, y'all. That's why I say it every day. See,

  Speaker 2: because of this radio show that I didn't see coming.

  Speaker 2: Now I have stories to tell, and I can tell
• 5:12
  Speaker 2: you about me better than I can tell you about anybody.

  Speaker 2: And I done been through enough whereas relatable, where enough

  Speaker 2: people can go mad that happened to me. Appreciate you
• 5:22
  Speaker 2: saying that that's what it was for. See, I get

  Speaker 2: it now. See at the time, though I didn't like
• 5:27
  Speaker 2: what was happening to me. At the time, I was

  Speaker 2: really in total disagreement with God on a lot of

  Speaker 2: stuff he was pulling off on me. But in essence,

  Speaker 2: I was really pulling it off on myself. But through
• 5:39
  Speaker 2: his grace and mercy, he kept me through all of
• 5:41
  Speaker 2: my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations, all
• 5:46
  Speaker 2: my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out there
• 5:51
  Speaker 2: and did wrong. He forgave me, He said, because man,
• 5:55
  Speaker 2: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
• 5:58
  Speaker 2: for you that is going to be far and above.

  Speaker 2: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
• 6:06
  Speaker 2: I did. I just got sick of me, good and

  Speaker 2: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.

  Speaker 2: And then God started working and here I am today.

  Speaker 2: Now he threw with me. Yet Nope, have I arrived yet? Nope?

  Speaker 2: But guess what the journey is cool? And then you
• 6:25
  Speaker 2: know what I found out. That's kind of what it's
• 6:27
  Speaker 2: like in life. If you done walked off the cliff
• 6:31
  Speaker 2: in life and you ain't got no God in your life,

  Speaker 2: it's like not having a parachute. You step off the
• 6:38
  Speaker 2: cliff and you just free falling. We all now, that

  Speaker 2: fag gets you closer to the grave, right see, we
• 6:44
  Speaker 2: all heading to the grave from the moment we're born.

  Speaker 2: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is

  Speaker 2: when you step off the cliff and you got God

  Speaker 2: here a parachute. You still going down, but it's a

  Speaker 2: nice ride. You guide and you glide, and you so

  Speaker 2: you enjoy. You look around, you're smiling, You're meeting other

  Speaker 2: people along the way. You're floating over here to ski

  Speaker 2: a little while. You over there at the beach for

  Speaker 2: a little while. You mess around over here, you get
• 7:12
  Speaker 2: to go out the country a little bit on your
• 7:14
  Speaker 2: parachuting and all that, and God just helps you. Your

  Speaker 2: descent appear more like a rise, and the more like
• 7:20
  Speaker 2: a euphoric fall, instead of not having no God in
• 7:24
  Speaker 2: your life and you just walking off that cliff every day,
• 7:28
  Speaker 2: free falling. Ain't got no cord, You steady pulling, you
• 7:32
  Speaker 2: hollering the whole way because you to mess around with yourself,
• 7:35
  Speaker 2: and ain't let God come into your life and provide
• 7:38
  Speaker 2: a parachute for you. I would rather have a parachute
• 7:42
  Speaker 2: since I got to jump every day than to not
• 7:44
  Speaker 2: have one. God has been like a parachute for me.

  Speaker 2: Ask me where that came from. I can't tell you,

  Speaker 2: But like I always say, most good things that happen
