- 0:00Speaker 1: Three days you need to Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,
- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome to a brand new one just after six o'clock. Here,
- 0:06Speaker 1: Happy Wednesday. Ricky's Got those three things? Presented by Mark
- 0:10Speaker 1: Spain Real Estate. What's Happened in Ricky?
- 0:12Speaker 2: The TV show Jury Duty has been renewed for season three.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Season two debuted earlier this year with Nashville and Anthony
- 0:19Speaker 2: Norman as the latest unsuspecting lead. The whole idea around
- 0:23Speaker 2: the show, in case you don't know, is that one
- 0:24Speaker 2: person doesn't realize that where they're at is not a
- 0:28Speaker 2: real place. First, it was actual jury Duty. Last year
- 0:31Speaker 2: it was a company retreat where the one guy, Anthony
- 0:35Speaker 2: had no idea that this was all fake and completely
- 0:38Speaker 2: playing out the way that they wanted to.
- 0:42Speaker 3: So now we're gonna have a season three. We don't
- 0:44Speaker 3: know if the.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Same creative team is going to be behind this one
- 0:47Speaker 2: as they were for season one and season two, but
- 0:50Speaker 2: we're gonna get a different scenario. We just don't know
- 0:52Speaker 2: what it is. I don't know where they're gonna go
- 0:55Speaker 2: from here. I was shocked if we came up with
- 0:57Speaker 2: company retreat. Seasons one and two of are streaming on
- 1:01Speaker 2: Amazon Prime Video. If you want to check them out.
- 1:03Speaker 3: NES has launched.
- 1:05Speaker 2: A new mobile app. The app is pretty cool. Actually,
- 1:09Speaker 2: I never thought I'd say anything cool about a NES honestly,
- 1:11Speaker 2: but it has the same features as the my account
- 1:14Speaker 2: page online, So when you go to a nespower dot com,
- 1:17Speaker 2: everything that you have there will be in the app.
- 1:20Speaker 2: That means that customers can pay bills, check account details,
- 1:23Speaker 2: and most importantly, you can get outages updated right from
- 1:27Speaker 2: your phone, which is the biggest deal.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Out of all of this.
- 1:31Speaker 2: The new app is supposed to be all about convenience
- 1:33Speaker 2: and ease, which is something a lot of customers question
- 1:36Speaker 2: when it comes to NEES, especially after the most recent
- 1:38Speaker 2: power outages in January that left thousands tens of thousands
- 1:42Speaker 2: of people without power. So this will be a nice
- 1:45Speaker 2: and easier way for you to actually check out your
- 1:48Speaker 2: power outages in your area, which I love personally as
- 1:52Speaker 2: someone who has a NES and seven to eleven is
- 1:55Speaker 2: doing a Slurpy Happy Hour this summer.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I love this. There's Slurpy Cappy.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Hour is giving rewards members a dollar slurpee every day
- 2:05Speaker 2: from three to six pm at participating seven elevens Speedways
- 2:09Speaker 2: and Stripe locations. The promotion is gonna run through August
- 2:12Speaker 2: twenty fifth, so it's all summer long that you can.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Get these slurpees for a dollar. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and
- 2:18Speaker 3: those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I like it, I like the affordability factor, but that
- 2:22Speaker 1: seems like too many slurpees.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Nobody should be having a slurpy every day, right, Kevin?
- 2:25Speaker 3: Why are you such a buzzkill? Slurpees are delightful and
- 2:29Speaker 3: we have but few things in.
- 2:31Speaker 2: This world that still make us happy. Let us have
- 2:34Speaker 2: the dollar slurpees.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Don't have a slurpey every day, everybody.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Thanks Ricky, having if you want to and tell Kevin
- 2:40Speaker 2: to go to help.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah, your best life, but also take care of yourself.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Alex ward Ta gets on the way for.
- 2:46Speaker 4: The first caller, Ricky Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Taylor Swift.
- 2:53Speaker 1: It's the River saying good morning to Denise Lafayette.
- 2:56Speaker 3: How are you, Denise? I am so good right now.
- 3:00Speaker 2: You were very excited the second we said anything on
- 3:03Speaker 2: the phone.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I was standing right by.
- 3:06Speaker 3: She was ready for the queue to call.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I'm assuming you're just a really big Alex Warren fan.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I am so are my kids.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we were talking about this yesterday. My daughter
- 3:16Speaker 1: is nine years old. Huge Alex Warren fans. Kids love
- 3:19Speaker 1: him and we love that.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I'm excited.
- 3:23Speaker 5: No, I thought for sure that you were excited to
- 3:25Speaker 5: talk to us.
- 3:26Speaker 4: I'm always excited to talk to you guys.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Good answer, answer, Zach was gonna make you say that,
- 3:32Speaker 3: whether I'd like it or not.
- 3:35Speaker 2: We're excited for you because you are indeed the first
- 3:38Speaker 2: color of the day on one of seven five the river.
- 3:41Speaker 2: You're getting these tickets to see Alex Warren a Bridge
- 3:43Speaker 2: Son Arena on.
- 3:43Speaker 3: May twenty fifth.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, congratulations. I did hear a child in the background
- 3:48Speaker 1: a second ago. What are you guys doing right now?
- 3:51Speaker 3: Well, we're sitting on the side of the road so
- 3:52Speaker 3: I can make a song call.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Oh no, I hope that they're not like, are you
- 3:56Speaker 2: on the way to school?
- 3:57Speaker 3: Are you gonna be late for school? It's so early.
- 3:59Speaker 2: No, they're not gonna be like Okay, okay, just making
- 4:02Speaker 2: you're saying so early. You don't know what the line
- 4:04Speaker 2: looks like to drop these kids off.
- 4:06Speaker 3: You don't know where they go? Yeah, I guess I
- 4:07Speaker 3: don't know any school.
- 4:08Speaker 1: We'll start before seven am, though you don't know nothing.
- 4:11Speaker 2: They drop off at a sitters house and get on
- 4:14Speaker 2: the bus and then they go and I have to
- 4:16Speaker 2: be at work at seven fifteen.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Okay, So he's actually the one that's gonna be late.
- 4:20Speaker 2: So we're just gonna go ahead and put you on
- 4:22Speaker 2: hole for one second so we can get your info,
- 4:24Speaker 2: and then we're gonna let you go.
- 4:25Speaker 3: So that you can get to work on time.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Okay, thank you, congratulations, and I'm glad.
- 4:30Speaker 3: You pulled over to the side of the road. Safety first,
- 4:32Speaker 3: We talk about that all the time.
- 4:33Speaker 2: We want to make sure that you're safe when you're
- 4:34Speaker 2: calling us.
- 4:35Speaker 3: You guys are so old. Why coming from down who
- 4:39Speaker 3: will crash his car eight times in a year? Yeah,
- 4:43Speaker 3: it's fine, Jack. How is being safe an old person thing?
- 4:46Speaker 3: What do you even mean? Make sure you pull over?
- 4:49Speaker 3: Old keV Okay be here tomorrow for more of these tickets.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Alex Morren tickets same time tomorrow.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Five the River.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Kevin is about to tell us his cat sob story.
- 5:04Speaker 3: On one of seven five the River.
- 5:05Speaker 2: He's got a neighbor with a cat, Mister Migi, best
- 5:08Speaker 2: name ever I love it. And mister Miogi likes to
- 5:11Speaker 2: wander on over into his house. His kids love him,
- 5:14Speaker 2: so they let.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Him right on in.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Obviously, you and Ali are not big fans of that,
- 5:18Speaker 2: but you let it happen anyways because you're like, well,
- 5:20Speaker 2: what am I gonna do? They're just gonna keep doing
- 5:22Speaker 2: it anyway. But you said there is a development in
- 5:24Speaker 2: this story, Yeah, there is.
- 5:26Speaker 3: First of all, I'm not a huge cat person, but
- 5:28Speaker 3: I do think.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Mister Miyagi is very cute. Mister Migi is nice. I
- 5:31Speaker 1: think mister Migi is.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Just an outside cat.
- 5:33Speaker 1: He never goes in our neighbor's house, like he has
- 5:35Speaker 1: a litter box in their garage or something, and he
- 5:36Speaker 1: just wanders the neighborhood. So our house has sort of
- 5:39Speaker 1: become his house. I tell my kids not to feed
- 5:42Speaker 1: mister Miaogi because once you feed them, they never stop
- 5:44Speaker 1: coming back. And now the update he brought us a
- 5:46Speaker 1: dead bird?
- 5:48Speaker 3: What oh? That means that he loves you guys. I
- 5:51Speaker 3: guess I don't like that. At first, I didn't know.
- 5:53Speaker 1: If it was a gift or a threat. But the
- 5:55Speaker 1: more I it's a gift, I think it is a gift.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But I think he brought it to your front door. Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 1: the spot that he always sits and me ows.
- 6:04Speaker 6: Uh.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yesterday I was in our house and I looked out
- 6:07Speaker 1: the window and I saw a dead bird sitting right
- 6:08Speaker 1: where he always sits.
- 6:09Speaker 2: That's really sweet. It's obviously sad for the bird. We're
- 6:13Speaker 2: not happy about you know, what happened to the bird.
- 6:15Speaker 2: But that's the cycle of life. Yeah, and this is
- 6:17Speaker 2: like actually supposed to mean that you're part of their family,
- 6:20Speaker 2: Like it's a positive thing when a cat brings you
- 6:23Speaker 2: a dead animal.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I don't want to be part of this family. I
- 6:25Speaker 3: don't want him to be part of our family. I
- 6:28Speaker 3: get him out of the house too late. Yeah, that's
- 6:30Speaker 3: now your cat, mister Miogi. Is your cat really sweet?
- 6:35Speaker 3: It's not sweet, it's gross.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Dogs trust and that means that it's like a predatory
- 6:39Speaker 2: like instinct thing. So they're they're trying to make sure
- 6:43Speaker 2: that you're like safe and cozy and know that you're protected.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Thanks, mister, I've always wanted a dead bird. I feel great.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I feel sick.
- 6:51Speaker 2: You are now mister Megi's family. His old family means
- 6:54Speaker 2: nothing anymore. He's forgotten about them. You might as well
- 6:57Speaker 2: just adopt him now and just accept to your feet.
- 7:01Speaker 3: You should be honored. Yeah, I'm not.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I don't this is this is phenomenal.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Do you know what kind of cat he is? Uh?
- 7:12Speaker 3: A murderous one. I don't know. He's gray.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Okay, that is not helpful, yeah at all. Well he's
- 7:18Speaker 2: your cat now.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Okay, all right, I was hoping maybe it was go to.
- 7:22Speaker 2: The vet, make sure he's got all his shots, put
- 7:27Speaker 2: him where he's at at all time.
- 7:30Speaker 3: For something happens to mister, how are you gonna know?
- 7:32Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm not doing any of that. He's
- 7:34Speaker 3: not our cat, but your cat. You'd be so sad
- 7:37Speaker 3: if something happened to him, My kids would be.
- 7:40Speaker 2: But I your bad cat dad.
- 7:43Speaker 3: It might be the one that does the bad thing
- 7:45Speaker 3: to him. But thank you guys for your updates to
- 7:46Speaker 3: help here with mister or a fake cat Dad.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I'm actually going to petition that you don't have this
- 7:52Speaker 2: cat anymore. I'm going to have somebody else adopted.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Give us a call if you have any tips or
- 7:56Speaker 1: how I can get this cat out of our house
- 7:58Speaker 1: because I don't want him. Three things as We're so
- 8:02Speaker 1: happy you're here starting your Wednesday with us. Thank you
- 8:05Speaker 1: so much, Rick, He's got those three things. Presented by
- 8:07Speaker 1: Mark Spain real Estate.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Laverne High School was placed under lockdown after a second
- 8:12Speaker 2: reported threat yesterday. The high school was placed on a
- 8:15Speaker 2: secure hold while law enforcement conducted their investigation.
- 8:19Speaker 3: They resumed classes.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Around ten thirty am after a thorough sweep of the campus.
- 8:23Speaker 2: On Monday, though, at least six Tennessee school campuses, including
- 8:27Speaker 2: Laverne High School, were placed on lockdown after bomb threats
- 8:30Speaker 2: were reported against the schools. The threats redeemed uncredible after
- 8:34Speaker 2: an investigation, but the Tennessee Department of Safety has released
- 8:38Speaker 2: a statement where in part they explained that every report
- 8:41Speaker 2: will be taken seriously and fully investigated to ensure safety,
- 8:45Speaker 2: as that remains their top priority. Obviously, really scary stuff.
- 8:49Speaker 2: We're hoping that this stops. We don't know exactly who
- 8:53Speaker 2: is setting in these bomb threats as of right now,
- 8:56Speaker 2: but they are looking for the suspects as that is
- 8:58Speaker 2: a crime, so they're doing their best to figure out
- 9:01Speaker 2: who is the culprit for all of this. Singer Ray
- 9:05Speaker 2: has landed her first major acting role. She is going
- 9:09Speaker 2: to be part of the London set crime film lineage
- 9:13Speaker 2: The movie follows a former prisoner who was pulled back
- 9:16Speaker 2: into the criminal underworld in London after their release.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Raised and some acting before.
- 9:21Speaker 2: She appeared as herself in Netflix's Black Rabbit last year,
- 9:25Speaker 2: so she kind of knows the drill here, but this
- 9:26Speaker 2: is her first big major role, so bit congrats to her.
- 9:30Speaker 3: I'm excited to see where this goes for her. I
- 9:32Speaker 3: watched Black Rabbit. I didn't realize that was ray crazy. Aw,
- 9:35Speaker 3: there you go and TikTok.
- 9:37Speaker 2: They're trying to convince you to pour a can of
- 9:39Speaker 2: tomato soup into your yellow cake batter YEP.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Tomato soup cake.
- 9:44Speaker 2: It's been a thing that's actually been around for about
- 9:46Speaker 2: a century. It first appeared in cookbooks in the late
- 9:49Speaker 2: nineteen twenties, but it's making a resurgence right now. So
- 9:52Speaker 2: despite the name, the cake doesn't really taste like tomatoes.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It's more like a pumpkin bread or spice cake, they say,
- 9:59Speaker 2: and it's usually topped with cream, cheese frosting. The soup
- 10:02Speaker 2: adds moisture and acidity, and they say, like I said,
- 10:05Speaker 2: it tastes more like spices than it tastes like tomato.
- 10:08Speaker 2: But it's something that everybody is doing now. They're trying
- 10:11Speaker 2: to convince everyone to start doing it. Try it for yourself.
- 10:14Speaker 2: If it sounds interesting, if you like to bake, see
- 10:16Speaker 2: what it's like. I'm just completely turned off by the
- 10:18Speaker 2: idea of tomato soup.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I would try it. I think that sounds good.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Okay, Murky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 10:26Speaker 2: need to.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Know to each their own. Yum yum, I want it.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Here's Ella Langley. We are getting back into the music.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Taylor Swift, Beaber Somber all the Way plus effect zax facts.
- 10:36Speaker 3: We are learning together.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Next class is in Sessions sax Facts, brought to you
- 10:42Speaker 4: by Mark Spain Real.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Estate on the River.
- 10:46Speaker 5: You guys, if you're trying to unlock or lock your car,
- 10:48Speaker 5: did you know if you put the keyfop underneath your chin,
- 10:50Speaker 5: it can actually like make the distance longer.
- 10:53Speaker 3: I don't like the idea of that. I feel like
- 10:54Speaker 3: that's doing something weird in my brain.
- 10:55Speaker 5: So apparently, like all of the water and the electrical
- 10:59Speaker 5: conductivity of your skull actually makes it like a passive antenna,
- 11:02Speaker 5: so it makes it like further distance that you can
- 11:05Speaker 5: unlock your car.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I don't want to use my skull for nothing. But
- 11:07Speaker 2: what it's supposed to be used for. I'm just gonna
- 11:09Speaker 2: go ahead and say that.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Now, if you're in the target parking lot and you
- 11:12Speaker 5: want to unlock the car, put it underneath your chin.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I know somebody that does this all the time.
- 11:17Speaker 1: He's always putting his key pop up to his chin,
- 11:19Speaker 1: and it drives me crazy every time it works.
- 11:21Speaker 3: I don't like it. I have a few questions about that. Friend. Yeah,
- 11:24Speaker 3: and there's your fact of the day.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yes, Ricky, the answer is yes, I see.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning.
- 11:33Speaker 2: On I want to know the most millennial thing about you,
- 11:38Speaker 2: whether you are a millennial or maybe you just gen
- 11:41Speaker 2: z and hate millennials. We want to know the most
- 11:43Speaker 2: millennial thing about you.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Mine might be my the music that I listened to,
- 11:47Speaker 1: like I have playlists on my phone, like I still
- 11:50Speaker 1: stuff from high school.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I still am living in
- 11:52Speaker 3: my warp tour days. That such good song. I know,
- 11:56Speaker 3: I get it. I totally understand six.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Three, seven, nine. Most millennial thing about you? We want
- 12:04Speaker 1: to hear it and we'll share more of ours next
- 12:05Speaker 1: on the.
- 12:06Speaker 4: River Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning on
- 12:11Speaker 4: the river.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You're asking the question this morning, what is the most
- 12:14Speaker 1: millennial thing about you?
- 12:15Speaker 3: It's one oh seven five the river.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Kaitlin is in Nashville right now, she's on the line, Kaitlin,
- 12:20Speaker 1: what is it for you?
- 12:21Speaker 2: My skinny jeans and my tank top.
- 12:23Speaker 6: Under all my t shirts.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Not the tank top. That was such a thing. We
- 12:28Speaker 3: knew how to layer as millennial. So'll do it.
- 12:31Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Actually right now, I have a tank top on under
- 12:34Speaker 3: my shirt right now.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I loved and it pokes out at the bottom. Is
- 12:37Speaker 2: it a different color and pokes out at the bottom?
- 12:39Speaker 1: Sure?
- 12:39Speaker 3: Is green top and green on bottom. I'm got to
- 12:42Speaker 3: keep the color. Show love that.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I kind of feel like, I mean, did you grow
- 12:45Speaker 1: up in the nineties?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Is that a nineties look?
- 12:47Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 12:48Speaker 2: Well ninety six. But my mom kept me in the
- 12:51Speaker 2: real in the real genre. She wanted to make sure
- 12:53Speaker 2: I was raised right.
- 12:54Speaker 3: So definitely, I've been to Wark Tour.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, like you mentioned, yep.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I love it. So you're it's coming back. It's coming back.
- 13:01Speaker 3: The lightering of the tank tops and everything like that.
- 13:03Speaker 3: It's a thing. Now.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I'm seeing gen Z wear it and thinking that they
- 13:07Speaker 2: invented this.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Oh they think we did this. Caitlin, thank you for
- 13:12Speaker 3: calling this morning. We hope you have a great day.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Thanks so much, you get to bye.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I think it's so funny, like the nineties look is
- 13:19Speaker 1: officially back, and you know they say that fashion is like,
- 13:23Speaker 1: you know, cyclical, yep, but.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I don't remember in the nineties, we weren't dressing like
- 13:26Speaker 3: it was the sixties. True, you know, I will.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Say the only thing that I don't want to come
- 13:31Speaker 5: back is like the under high eyeliner.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Please do not bring that back. I like that look.
- 13:36Speaker 3: I'm I'm kind of okay with it. No, don't do it.
- 13:38Speaker 2: But when it comes to the most millennial thing about you,
- 13:41Speaker 2: Kevin already said his. I would say that my most
- 13:44Speaker 2: millennial thing is that big purchases.
- 13:47Speaker 3: I need to use my computer for like my phone
- 13:50Speaker 3: is for social media things like that.
- 13:52Speaker 2: But when I'm buying clothes or I'm buying a plane
- 13:55Speaker 2: ticket somewhere, I.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Have to open up my laptop and use my laptop.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I mean, honestly say, I feel like it's easier that way.
- 14:02Speaker 2: It makes SENSEI it makes sense in my head that way,
- 14:05Speaker 2: because that's just always how it's been.
- 14:07Speaker 3: You never used to like buy big things on your phone.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I think you're right.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I've never booked a plane ticket on my phone exactly.
- 14:14Speaker 3: That's only for computers.
- 14:15Speaker 2: The other thing that's very millennial about me that I
- 14:18Speaker 2: just started to kind of break myself out of is
- 14:21Speaker 2: when I'm texting and I'm typing to somebody and I
- 14:23Speaker 2: type something wrong, I type another message with the star
- 14:27Speaker 2: and the correction.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Oh, but you can't get it direct yourself. Yeah, but
- 14:31Speaker 3: you can edit the message now.
- 14:32Speaker 2: And I've just started to edit the message instead of
- 14:35Speaker 2: sending another text message with the correction.
- 14:37Speaker 1: You know, and this is I guess only iPhones, But
- 14:39Speaker 1: if you edit your text message, they can see what
- 14:41Speaker 1: your original one still was.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Yes, you can hold down on.
- 14:44Speaker 2: It and see that essentially the same thing as what
- 14:46Speaker 2: we used to do by just sending another message.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the correct wording. What's the most millennial thing
- 14:53Speaker 3: about you? Six one, five, seven, three seven nine.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky, Zach
- 14:59Speaker 4: and Meno.
- 15:00Speaker 3: In the morning, we've.
- 15:02Speaker 2: All shared our very deep millennial things that we just
- 15:05Speaker 2: can't give up.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Keana and Nashville. What is it for you?
- 15:09Speaker 1: For me?
- 15:10Speaker 3: It's gonna be my book of CDs. Oh my god,
- 15:13Speaker 3: you still have it in your car? I do still
- 15:17Speaker 3: have it.
- 15:18Speaker 6: I'm still trying to find a CD player to play them.
- 15:20Speaker 3: But I still have two full books of CDs good nomena.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm obsessed with that.
- 15:27Speaker 1: I might be dating myself here. I don't know if
- 15:29Speaker 1: you guys are quite as old as I am. But
- 15:32Speaker 1: did you ever have to get out of the car
- 15:33Speaker 1: and put CDs in the trunk?
- 15:35Speaker 3: Yeah? My car, my first car did have that. Okay,
- 15:38Speaker 3: uh huh, my very first car. It had not a
- 15:40Speaker 3: whole stack.
- 15:41Speaker 6: My mom's car did.
- 15:43Speaker 3: But no, my first car actually had a CD player.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Oh bro, you knew what you wanted.
- 15:47Speaker 2: You were like it better have a CD player right
- 15:49Speaker 2: up front, ready for all of my stacks of CDs
- 15:52Speaker 2: for my book. Oh my god, I have such a
- 15:54Speaker 2: thrill thinking about that. Like when you would get in
- 15:56Speaker 2: the car with your friends and be like, all right,
- 15:58Speaker 2: pick a CD and hand them your book and then.
- 16:00Speaker 3: To flip through.
- 16:01Speaker 2: And all of your mixtapes never made any sense because
- 16:04Speaker 2: the names had they meant nothing.
- 16:08Speaker 3: But you knew every song much every so much.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Did you ever spend like like an hour and a
- 16:16Speaker 1: half downloading like one Lincoln Parks song from lime Wire.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, I am the miss lime Wire. I love it. Keana,
- 16:28Speaker 3: thank you so much for calling in this morning.
- 16:31Speaker 1: All right, thank you Miss lime Wires.
- 16:34Speaker 3: She's awesome.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Oh the way that my mom would get so upset
- 16:38Speaker 2: with me when I would use lime Wire because it
- 16:40Speaker 2: always just infected your computer all the viruses every time.
- 16:44Speaker 2: But you were like, if I could just get a
- 16:46Speaker 2: few months out of this, yeah, I don't care that
- 16:48Speaker 2: it completely crashes the computer.
- 16:52Speaker 3: The Game of the Day is coming up next.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Thomas Rhett and Nile Horn together win those tickets within
- 16:58Speaker 1: minutes on the.
- 16:58Speaker 4: River, Great Zach and Mano in the morning on the
- 17:04Speaker 4: River Manos Game of.
- 17:05Speaker 3: The Day on one O seven five the River.

- 17:30Speaker 1: We are good. We're having a nice fun morning over here.
- 17:33Speaker 1: What do you up to on your way to work.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Are you at work?
- 17:36Speaker 2: I just trot my kids off and I'm about to
- 17:37Speaker 2: log into work.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I hope it's a good day for you. You need to
- 17:40Speaker 1: get three out of five of these, right. I don't
- 17:42Speaker 1: know if these are gonna be harder or easier. I
- 17:45Speaker 1: guess it just depends on the person and your wheelhouse.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You know, your age and all that stuff. But are
- 17:50Speaker 1: you ready to play the game?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, it starts right now. You got to
- 17:56Speaker 3: finish out the pair.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Here the duo and a fill in the blank magicians
- 18:00Speaker 1: Penn and.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Heller. Correct, Penn and Teller. I had no idea what
- 18:06Speaker 3: that was good for you, Kristen.
- 18:09Speaker 1: A classic Jane Austen novel. This is throwing it back
- 18:13Speaker 1: pride and.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Pice, nice prejudice, nice.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Job, sweet treat brand, Ben and Jerry.
- 18:26Speaker 3: That's how it's done.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Congratulations, your honest Thomas htt and Nile Horn, thank.
- 18:31Speaker 3: You so much, no problem. Congratulations are winning perfect pair.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I think it's a better name, but I think it's
- 18:36Speaker 2: a better name.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I do like the name exactly. I'm sure. Hey on
- 18:43Speaker 3: the line, Christy, we're gonna get your invoke.
- 18:45Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Oh you put her on hold before I could give
- 18:47Speaker 3: her the rest of her questions. I snuck in their
- 18:49Speaker 3: real fast and I'll ask you, guys, I knew you
- 18:52Speaker 3: were just good end.
- 18:53Speaker 1: I'm asking us an old Nickelodeon duo Wren and Stimpy
- 18:58Speaker 1: all right, a part of NBC's must ce TV lineup,
- 19:01Speaker 1: Will and Grace.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Thank Yeah, came around the playing the same game.
- 19:07Speaker 1: It's called pair pressure Tomorrow repair, same time for the
- 19:11Speaker 1: same tickets either perfect hare Three things you need to
- 19:16Speaker 1: know after eight o'clock here on this Wednesday morning. Thank
- 19:19Speaker 1: you for starting your day with us. Ricky's got those
- 19:20Speaker 1: Three things? Presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are being sued by real
- 19:26Speaker 2: cops over their movie The Rip being too realistic. So
- 19:29Speaker 2: the officers who filed a defamation lawsuit are Miami Dave sergeants.
- 19:34Speaker 2: They claim that the movie borrows heavily from a real
- 19:37Speaker 2: twenty sixteen drug case where police found more than twenty
- 19:41Speaker 2: one million dollars in a Miami area home.
- 19:44Speaker 3: They say specific details.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Of the film make it seem like the fictional characters
- 19:47Speaker 2: are based off of them. Specifically, they went so far
- 19:51Speaker 2: as to say that the portrayal has damaged their personal
- 19:54Speaker 2: and professional reputations, even though their names are not.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Used in this film whatsoever.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Both Betafleck and Damon's production company argues that the rip
- 20:03Speaker 2: is very clearly fictional. It even has a disclaimer that
- 20:07Speaker 2: says that it does not portray real people. An attorney
- 20:10Speaker 2: for the company declined any further comment because obviously it's
- 20:13Speaker 2: so going to court. The officers are seeking unspecified damages
- 20:17Speaker 2: of public retraction.
- 20:19Speaker 3: And legal feasts. I insane is that.
- 20:22Speaker 2: If you saw the rip, you know, it's kind of
- 20:25Speaker 2: a wild story. It seems like it could be possible.
- 20:28Speaker 3: But it's very clearly fake. So I don't know how
- 20:32Speaker 3: this is going to go, but I'll keep you updated.
- 20:33Speaker 3: People have sued for less. Anybody can just do this.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I could say like Magic MIC's about me, and I
- 20:39Speaker 1: could sue Channing Tatum damage jury.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Will you never believe that, but go for it, Kevin.
- 20:47Speaker 3: The parking debate.
- 20:48Speaker 2: In twelve South continues after residents and businesses shared their
- 20:52Speaker 2: concerns with the Metro Parking and Traffic Commission.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Some business owners so that the.
- 20:56Speaker 2: New resident only parking restrictions are hurting customers andmployees, but
- 21:01Speaker 2: the neighbors are arguing that you know, tourists are just
- 21:03Speaker 2: getting out of hand.
- 21:04Speaker 3: There's no parking in twelve South. Twelve South is insane right.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Now finding a spot can be a huge challenge, and
- 21:11Speaker 2: now that there's a more resident only and time limited
- 21:15Speaker 2: paid parking, businesses are saying it's harder and harder for
- 21:18Speaker 2: their customers to basically leave satisfied, you know, or even
- 21:21Speaker 2: to come to them.
- 21:22Speaker 3: It's a deterrent for a lot of them.
- 21:24Speaker 2: The Metro Traffic and Parking Commission is considering adding two
- 21:28Speaker 2: hour parking.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Spots, a long twelve Avenue South, a.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Rideshare pickup drop off zone, and new loading zones in
- 21:35Speaker 2: order to try and help. We'll see where that goes.
- 21:37Speaker 2: They have deferred the Combo for another sixty days and
- 21:41Speaker 2: Halo Top. They have announced a new spoon that will
- 21:45Speaker 2: silence your phone while you eat Their new silent a
- 21:49Speaker 2: La Mode phone or spoon. It hooks up to your
- 21:52Speaker 2: phone and it knows when you are eating ice cream,
- 21:55Speaker 2: so it can silence your calls, texts and notifications so
- 21:59Speaker 2: you don't have any interruptions that you.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Have to worry about.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Wait. I love that this spoon launches online tomorrow for
- 22:05Speaker 2: four dollars and ninety cents, which is a nod to
- 22:08Speaker 2: their calorie count of most of their pipes. So if
- 22:11Speaker 2: you want to buy one, tomorrow's your day. I'm Ricky Sanchez,
- 22:14Speaker 2: and those are the three things you.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Need to do.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on the
- 22:20Speaker 4: River Taylor.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It's one O seven five the river. Ricky's getting married
- 22:24Speaker 1: very very soon. We're in like full on wedding mode here,
- 22:27Speaker 1: a little bit mode, less.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Than a month away.
- 22:29Speaker 1: She's got some drama with her wedding dress, and god,
- 22:31Speaker 1: I feel bad for you.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I'm I'm happy that somebody feels bad for me, because
- 22:35Speaker 2: apparently Zach doesn't feel bad.
- 22:36Speaker 3: I don't at all.
- 22:37Speaker 2: But I bought a wedding dress online because we're eloping
- 22:40Speaker 2: and we're doing this as cheap as humanly possible.
- 22:43Speaker 3: It's a whole vibe here. Okay. I went to Timu.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Okay, I went to Asos and I found a very
- 22:49Speaker 2: nice dress on Aso's for a very reasonable price. And
- 22:51Speaker 2: I was hyped about it because I have a whole
- 22:53Speaker 2: vision for it. I'm gonna kind of be diying this thing.
- 22:56Speaker 2: But first I needed to get it tailored. I can't
- 22:58Speaker 2: hem dresses or anything like that. And your girl's four
- 23:01Speaker 2: eleven dresses are made for giraffes.
- 23:03Speaker 3: So I needed to go and yet it tailored. I
- 23:07Speaker 3: went to the tailor.
- 23:08Speaker 2: They figured out, you know, how much they needed to
- 23:10Speaker 2: hem off, which was a foot they need to take
- 23:12Speaker 2: a foot off this dress. But there was also little
- 23:14Speaker 2: areas that they needed to take in and things like that.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I was very excited. I was like, this is gonna
- 23:18Speaker 2: be so perfect once it's done. In that session, the
- 23:22Speaker 2: person who was taking down all the information got black
- 23:25Speaker 2: pen on my white wedding dress okay, And I was like, oh,
- 23:31Speaker 2: this is gonna be an interesting conversation. I had pointed
- 23:35Speaker 2: it out to her. She said, no problem, I'm going
- 23:37Speaker 2: to get it taken out. I don't worry about it.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I've got you kind of thing. So I was like, Okay, hoping.
- 23:41Speaker 3: For the best here.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I really don't expect this to come out, but I
- 23:45Speaker 2: hope for the best. I went to go pick it
- 23:47Speaker 2: up yesterday, and when I picked it up, I had
- 23:49Speaker 2: mentioned it to the girl who I was checking out
- 23:51Speaker 2: with different girl and I said, oh, could did you
- 23:54Speaker 2: guys get the pen mark out of it? And she
- 23:56Speaker 2: went oh, the pen mark. It was never written on
- 24:00Speaker 2: the sheet what to take the pen mark out of
- 24:02Speaker 2: the dress, so the original person never actually wrote down
- 24:06Speaker 2: that anything had happened.
- 24:07Speaker 1: So did you specify yesterday with this other person, like, yes,
- 24:10Speaker 1: your people put it like I didn't bring it in
- 24:13Speaker 1: with penn on it.
- 24:14Speaker 3: They did it here.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Yes, Because I was like, you better not be charging
- 24:17Speaker 2: me to try and get this taken out, right, So
- 24:19Speaker 2: I mentioned to her last time I was here, when
- 24:22Speaker 2: I came to get the alterations, someone accidentally got pen
- 24:25Speaker 2: mark on it, and she said, oh, let me take
- 24:28Speaker 2: this back. I'll try to get it taken out for
- 24:30Speaker 2: you right now. She got a decent amount taken out.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Whole thing wasn't taken out. Though there's still pen mark
- 24:36Speaker 2: on my dress. I'm gonna be okay because it's more
- 24:39Speaker 2: like on the inside of the dress. I think I'm
- 24:42Speaker 2: gonna survive. It's gonna be all right. But they did
- 24:44Speaker 2: not offer me a discount. They did not say sorry,
- 24:47Speaker 2: oh no, no, no, nothing, nothing.
- 24:50Speaker 3: They had me pay full price and didn't say a word,
- 24:54Speaker 3: just let it go okay.
- 24:55Speaker 5: So unfortunately, I was originally like on the plan of like, oh,
- 24:59Speaker 5: you bought a cheap dress.
- 25:00Speaker 3: It's nothing to do with where I bought it from.
- 25:02Speaker 3: They ruined it, so they should have to pay for it.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It drives me crazy that this person that marked it
- 25:09Speaker 1: up in the first place just forgot about it the
- 25:11Speaker 1: second you walked out the door and didn't even try,
- 25:13Speaker 1: didn't write it down.
- 25:14Speaker 2: My assumption isn't even that she forgot about it because
- 25:17Speaker 2: she panicked she knew that she did wrong. My assumption
- 25:20Speaker 2: is she didn't want to get in trouble because you
- 25:22Speaker 2: should never have an actual regular ballpoint pen near anything
- 25:28Speaker 2: that's fabric that you're working on. And she just completely
- 25:31Speaker 2: forgot And I know that it was an accident.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I didn't get mad at her.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I was like, I understand you didn't mean to do this,
- 25:36Speaker 2: but yes, if you can get it out, please, And
- 25:39Speaker 2: I think she just didn't write down because she didn't
- 25:41Speaker 2: want to get in trouble.
- 25:41Speaker 3: What's your course of action at this point?
- 25:43Speaker 6: Do you?
- 25:44Speaker 2: I feel like I didn't do the right thing by
- 25:47Speaker 2: I guess advocating more for myself than getting a discount,
- 25:51Speaker 2: because I brought it up to them that they did wrong.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I said, hey, you guys said that you were going
- 25:55Speaker 2: to get.
- 25:55Speaker 3: This taken out. They tried to get it taken out.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Not all of it came out. You go back today,
- 26:00Speaker 3: I mean I can go back today. We will go
- 26:02Speaker 3: back today. I want to make sure that you get
- 26:06Speaker 3: it for free.
- 26:07Speaker 2: But part of me let it go because I don't.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Want any stress with this wedding. Sure, I want it
- 26:12Speaker 3: to be chill.
- 26:12Speaker 2: That's the whole reason why we're elping is to keep
- 26:14Speaker 2: it calm, keep it chill, keep it.
- 26:16Speaker 3: No problems whatsoever. So I God, now I was trying to.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Just stay calm and let it go. I'm venting about
- 26:22Speaker 2: it right now, and I want to let it go,
- 26:24Speaker 2: but I kind of feel like I didn't do the
- 26:26Speaker 2: right thing for my cellar.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Have a wicked good summer.
- 26:30Speaker 6: On the ever, here's the next word in our.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Wicked long sentence. Yeah, we started doing this Monday morning.
- 26:36Speaker 3: We've been given words three times a day.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Eight forty is your first time every day to get
- 26:41Speaker 1: one of these words, and Ricky's got it for you.
- 26:43Speaker 3: It's a short one. Today. The word is on. That
- 26:47Speaker 3: is your word today, on, on and again.
- 26:49Speaker 1: You're doing this for a trip to New York to
- 26:51Speaker 1: see arian A Grande plus. While you're there, we'll give
- 26:53Speaker 1: you tickets to see Wicked on Broadway. You got to
- 26:55Speaker 1: get all these words. Three times a day. We're giving
- 26:59Speaker 1: you words. So like we said, eight forty, twelve forty
- 27:02Speaker 1: and four forty and again your word today on on, keep.
- 27:07Speaker 4: Track of every word.
- 27:09Speaker 1: So when one O the River, its time for the
- 27:12Speaker 1: daily double tap.
- 27:13Speaker 3: It's one O seven five the River. Every day. About
- 27:15Speaker 3: this time, we play some audio from a video. This
- 27:17Speaker 3: is a local one. Ricky found this.
- 27:19Speaker 1: It's about businesses popping up all over the place in Nashville,
- 27:22Speaker 1: and there's just a few, a few key elements that
- 27:24Speaker 1: they're overlooking.
- 27:25Speaker 2: It's just insane the way that these businesses are operating
- 27:28Speaker 2: right now.
- 27:29Speaker 3: And I get it, you're just trying to find prime
- 27:31Speaker 3: real estate.
- 27:31Speaker 2: But like my god, you all ignore the signs.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Here we go here it is.
- 27:36Speaker 6: Wait wait, wait, wait, so that there's no parking whatsoever.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Well, I've heard enough. Let's put this business right here.
- 27:47Speaker 6: Yeah, what'sh Just roll on the same page. People will
- 27:52Speaker 6: be drunk leaving right and getting in their cars. Oh yeah, okay, Well,
- 27:57Speaker 6: let's definitely put this right next to the busiest, most
- 28:01Speaker 6: dangerous road in all of Nashville. Oh, pedestrians jaywalk here
- 28:08Speaker 6: just on a regular basis at any time of the day.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Oh, let's put this business right here. Yeah, pretty much everything.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Why are we ignoring these things? I don't know. I
- 28:20Speaker 3: don't know. Its crazy to me. And like I said,
- 28:23Speaker 3: I get it. You're just trying to find prime real
- 28:25Speaker 3: estate as a business. You're like, all right, main road
- 28:27Speaker 3: people are gonna see me. But like, my god, where
- 28:30Speaker 3: do you want me to park?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Man?
- 28:32Speaker 3: How do you want me to get to your establishment?
- 28:34Speaker 1: I mean, it's parking, just not like baked into the plans.
- 28:37Speaker 1: When you're opening a new business, there should be some
- 28:39Speaker 1: element of parking.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know how it works. It's
- 28:43Speaker 3: above our pay ground. Don't have businesses. We don't know nothing.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It's frustrating for us as consumers exactly.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on the River
