- 0:08Speaker 1: Is it candle and vice, or sugar and spice?
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's Naughty But Nice with Rob. Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Welcome to the Naughty But Nice Show. I'm your host,
- 0:19Speaker 2: Rob Shooter, with a little bit of a cold today.
- 0:22Speaker 2: So if you hear a little scratch in my voice,
- 0:25Speaker 2: I've not been up all night dancing. It sounds like
- 0:27Speaker 2: I've been up all night smoking Marlboro Lights and drinking whiskey.
- 0:31Speaker 2: That's not true. I was in bed at like nine o'clock.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Don't worry, it sounds worse than it feels, but bear
- 0:37Speaker 2: with us today. Thankfully, we have the golden voice, our
- 0:40Speaker 2: dear friend Mark Lupo. Are you there, Lupes?
- 0:44Speaker 1: Lupi Lewis here.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Hey, Rob. Hey, Lupi, lots of talking today because I
- 0:48Speaker 2: don't know if I'm going to get through this. I will.
- 0:50Speaker 2: You will. You've got my back. Okay, let's jump in.
- 0:53Speaker 2: What time is it, my friends? It is tea time.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Heartbreaking story at the top of the show. Chadlow's daughter, Fiona,
- 1:01Speaker 2: has died recently. At just 13 years old, the family
- 1:05Speaker 2: is devastated. Actor Chad Lowe is mourning the devastating loss
- 1:11Speaker 2: of his 13-year-old daughter, Fiona. The Life Goes On star,
- 1:15Speaker 2: he is 58, and his wife, Kim, confirmed that Fiona
- 1:20Speaker 2: died on Tuesday, describing their daughter as smart, creative, and
- 1:25Speaker 2: someone who loved to dance. Her grandfather has since put
- 1:29Speaker 2: out a beautiful statement too, saying she was the light
- 1:32Speaker 2: of our lives. Fiona was one of the couple's three daughters.
- 1:36Speaker 2: They had three daughters, Mabel, who is 17, Nixie, who
- 1:40Speaker 2: is 10. So she was the middle daughter. Chad is
- 1:43Speaker 2: the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe. And the family
- 1:47Speaker 2: asked for prayers and privacy, directing anyone struggling with mental
- 1:51Speaker 2: health to a suicide and crisis lifeline. That's the tell here.
- 1:57Speaker 2: They have not announced the cause of death. That is theirs. However,
- 2:03Speaker 2: they have said, if you know anybody or if you
- 2:06Speaker 2: are struggling, if you are thinking about suicide, if you
- 2:10Speaker 2: are in crisis, please reach out to 988, which is
- 2:15Speaker 2: a suicide and crisis lifeline. Just heartbreaking. Mark, just heartbreaking.
- 2:22Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's truly heartbreaking. And, you know, I think the family
- 2:25Speaker 1: deserves exactly what they're asking for, which is compassion and
- 2:27Speaker 1: privacy as they navigate this difficult time. And it's nice
- 2:31Speaker 1: that they shared that while they didn't give the cause
- 2:33Speaker 1: of death, they alluded to the fact that she, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 1: committed suicide. And it makes you wonder, you know, at 13,
- 2:39Speaker 1: what is going on? And, you know, with digital technology
- 2:43Speaker 1: and cell phones and everything else that goes along with
- 2:46Speaker 1: being a teen in this time, It's scary to be
- 2:50Speaker 1: a parent right now.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the bigger discussion here. We are going to
- 2:54Speaker 2: give them the privacy that they have asked for. But
- 2:56Speaker 2: I think a bigger story that we can talk about
- 3:00Speaker 2: is just the pressures on young kids. You don't have
- 3:03Speaker 2: to be in Hollywood. Your dad does not have to
- 3:05Speaker 2: be on TV famous for this to really, really strike home.
- 3:10Speaker 2: It's an epidemic. And I think social media has to
- 3:13Speaker 2: be looked at. I can't imagine... When I was 13
- 3:17Speaker 2: years old, having a Twitter account, having a Facebook page,
- 3:21Speaker 2: the pressure. It's really rough, isn't it? Going to school.
- 3:25Speaker 2: It's so hard. You have mostly, I hope, these lovely
- 3:29Speaker 2: lives at home where hopefully you are loved. And then
- 3:32Speaker 2: you're thrown out the front door and people didn't love
- 3:34Speaker 2: me at school and I couldn't understand why. Because at home,
- 3:38Speaker 2: everybody adored me. I was a prince and I just
- 3:41Speaker 2: could not understand the disconnect. And I wanted to say
- 3:44Speaker 2: to all the people that were mean to me, do
- 3:47Speaker 2: you not know that I'm really lovely? Everybody in my
- 3:50Speaker 2: house loves me. What's wrong with all you? And it
- 3:53Speaker 2: had to teach me life lessons, which I think is
- 3:56Speaker 2: a really good thing. Not everybody in life is going
- 3:59Speaker 2: to love you as much as your mommy Doris. That
- 4:01Speaker 2: is just not going to be the case. So you
- 4:03Speaker 2: have to learn to deal with different people. However, the
- 4:07Speaker 2: pressures on social media, the pressures on Facebook, on Instagram,
- 4:13Speaker 2: everybody wants more followers. Rumors spread like wildfire. We're going
- 4:18Speaker 2: to find out what was going on here. Rob Lowe,
- 4:21Speaker 2: who we all know has rushed to his brother's side.
- 4:25Speaker 2: They're really, really close. I thought there might be some
- 4:29Speaker 2: conflict there because Rob's a movie star. Chad, we don't
- 4:32Speaker 2: hear about as much. He is a working actor, successful,
- 4:37Speaker 2: not maybe the level of fame of his brother, but
- 4:40Speaker 2: makes a good living. But my sources tell me he
- 4:43Speaker 2: was perfectly happy with his piece of the pie. He
- 4:45Speaker 2: was a family man. He loved being with his kids.
- 4:48Speaker 2: He liked to work. to provide, to pay the bills,
- 4:52Speaker 2: but he didn't have that drive in you that you
- 4:55Speaker 2: need to be a superstar. You have to be almost
- 4:58Speaker 2: a little bit obsessed with fame and fortune and success.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And that's just not in celebrity, too. If you think
- 5:06Speaker 2: about your office or your shop or wherever you work,
- 5:08Speaker 2: the people that really are the ones that rise to
- 5:11Speaker 2: the top are the ones that just do nothing but work. Like,
- 5:15Speaker 2: they put in the effort. I don't want to be
- 5:18Speaker 2: the boss. I don't like being the boss. And so
- 5:21Speaker 2: I like my piece of the pie. This story, absolutely heartbreaking. Mark,
- 5:27Speaker 2: it feels like a little bit of an epidemic at
- 5:30Speaker 2: the moment. We're seeing Teresa Giudice's daughter, Melinda, have a meltdown. Melania.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Melania is her name. Having a meltdown at the airport.
- 5:40Speaker 2: We're seeing other Bravo stars in trouble. Obviously, Presley Guber
- 5:46Speaker 2: is someone we're talking about. Hayden Panettiere, who was a
- 5:49Speaker 2: child star. I think we have to start really looking
- 5:52Speaker 2: at this business, at show business, and saying, is it
- 5:56Speaker 2: really a healthy place for kids?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Truly. And I, you know, a quick Google search, I
- 6:01Speaker 1: can see that the family was closed. They, they, you know,
- 6:04Speaker 1: and it's her, you know, she becomes a product of
- 6:07Speaker 1: this public nature.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And so people comment on their pictures and say whatever
- 6:12Speaker 1: they want and any kind of hot topic issue. I've
- 6:15Speaker 1: noticed social media and people are just so horrible to
- 6:18Speaker 1: each other and are the nastiest things and there's no
- 6:21Speaker 1: stopping it. And it's just endless, endless abuse.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, the genie's out of the bottle. The hate genie
- 6:29Speaker 2: is out of the bottle. And we can't put it
- 6:31Speaker 2: back in. As you all know, I have a new
- 6:33Speaker 2: novel coming out in December. And it's a little bit controversial.
- 6:37Speaker 2: The beginning of the novel is controversial. Then it's actually
- 6:40Speaker 2: really just a beautiful story about somebody who becomes the
- 6:43Speaker 2: queen who should never have been queen. It's very much
- 6:47Speaker 2: like The Princess Diaries. This is just somebody... who wasn't
- 6:50Speaker 2: prepared to be queen. It's fun to see this young
- 6:52Speaker 2: person adapt into that role. And she does so beautifully.
- 6:55Speaker 2: And there's a very, very nice ending. However, a lot
- 6:58Speaker 2: of people are taking away the one controversial setup. And
- 7:02Speaker 2: they're sending me DMs and messages that are so hateful.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I am a grown ass man. I have done this
- 7:13Speaker 2: a long time. I've had people make fun of me
- 7:16Speaker 2: for years. I'm pretty well defended. I can't imagine being
- 7:20Speaker 2: a 13-year-old young person, young girl, still trying to figure
- 7:25Speaker 2: out who you are in life and getting these type
- 7:29Speaker 2: of messages. Be careful what you say out there. It
- 7:32Speaker 2: can really, really make a difference. The good news, though,
- 7:37Speaker 2: there is a silver lining here. If you say something nice,
- 7:41Speaker 2: that can make a difference, too. So we're all focusing
- 7:44Speaker 2: on our bad words, on our bad behavior, and how
- 7:46Speaker 2: upsetting and almost... how tragic it can potentially be. Think
- 7:50Speaker 2: what a nice word can do. Let's think about that today.
- 7:53Speaker 2: We're not going to have a poll of the day.
- 7:56Speaker 2: We don't do polls on subjects like this. Okay, moving along,
- 7:59Speaker 2: we've got some breaking Harry and Meghan news. What are
- 8:02Speaker 2: they up to?
- 8:03Speaker 1: We do, and I want to let you know that
- 8:05Speaker 1: I have a slight eye roll as I deliver this story.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan have blasted reckless paparazzi spotted outside Archie
- 8:14Speaker 1: and Elizabeth's school. Let me explain. So they have condemned
- 8:18Speaker 1: photographers spotted monitoring the grounds of their children's British school.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Two international paparazzi were circling the perimeter and looking into
- 8:25Speaker 1: the grounds attended by the kids. And the family has
- 8:28Speaker 1: branded the behavior as extraordinarily reckless and unacceptable intrusion into
- 8:34Speaker 1: their privacy. The incident comes just weeks after Archie and
- 8:38Speaker 1: Libet switched schools following security concerns surrounding their original commute.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And police have identified the photographers working for an unnamed
- 8:46Speaker 1: European press agency. Rob, what do you think?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Give me the eye roll first, Mark. Why is there
- 8:52Speaker 2: an eye roll to this story? Because I want to
- 8:54Speaker 2: be clear to everybody here. I don't want you getting
- 8:55Speaker 2: any nasty DMs here. we support these children's privacy. We
- 8:59Speaker 2: are not saying that they are public figures. So Mark's
- 9:02Speaker 2: not rolling his eyes at that. Explain why you are
- 9:04Speaker 2: rolling your eyes.
- 9:05Speaker 1: No, first, yes, I want to make that clear. I
- 9:07Speaker 1: am 100% of course supportive of the kids' privacy and
- 9:11Speaker 1: no one should be following kids, photographing kids, looking into
- 9:14Speaker 1: the window. It's creepy and weird. But however, if you're
- 9:18Speaker 1: going to build a brand around your family and you're
- 9:20Speaker 1: going to put your kids on social media constantly and
- 9:23Speaker 1: then post photographs of where you are so people can
- 9:26Speaker 1: piece this together, You've built a brand that people want
- 9:29Speaker 1: to now follow. We want to see what this friction,
- 9:32Speaker 1: this controversy is about security. And so I think you
- 9:35Speaker 1: invite this into your life more than you're not.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a tricky one here, isn't it? Because in Britain,
- 9:42Speaker 2: a lot of people are pushing back saying this is
- 9:45Speaker 2: all part of getting their government-funded, state-funded, taxpayer-funded security back.
- 9:52Speaker 2: And this is another example. Remember when they were in
- 9:55Speaker 2: New York without their kids a few years ago, and
- 9:58Speaker 2: they claimed the paparazzi were chasing them. them around the
- 10:00Speaker 2: streets and it got so dangerous they had to get
- 10:04Speaker 2: out of an suv with security guards and a professional
- 10:08Speaker 2: driver and get into a yellow cab and then everybody
- 10:11Speaker 2: was scratching their heads because we're like we live in
- 10:14Speaker 2: new york there are cameras everywhere if there is a
- 10:17Speaker 2: car chase up 10th avenue I will see it on
- 10:20Speaker 2: New York One. They will be on it in a minute.
- 10:23Speaker 2: There was no actual footage of this. So I think
- 10:27Speaker 2: Meghan and Harry are the boy and the girl who
- 10:29Speaker 2: have cried wolf. Now, I'm not saying that this incident
- 10:33Speaker 2: at the school didn't happen. I think it's very, very dodgy.
- 10:35Speaker 2: And I'm totally against it. And international paparazzi, when you're
- 10:40Speaker 2: in Britain, when you're in a country, you have to
- 10:42Speaker 2: play by the country's rules. In Britain, this is illegal.
- 10:47Speaker 2: After Princess Diana's death, the rules were changed. When Harry
- 10:51Speaker 2: and William were little, they would leave their private school,
- 10:54Speaker 2: they would leave Eton every day, and there would be
- 10:56Speaker 2: photographers waiting for them outside the school. That has changed
- 11:00Speaker 2: after the death of Princess Diana. That is not allowed,
- 11:03Speaker 2: and you get in big trouble. And I don't care
- 11:05Speaker 2: if you're from France or Germany, where, of Timbuktu. If
- 11:08Speaker 2: you're in Britain, you have to play by the British rules.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And so, ironically, the country that Harry and Meghan claimed
- 11:15Speaker 2: they were chased out of by photographers is going to
- 11:18Speaker 2: protect them or protect their children much more than what
- 11:23Speaker 2: they would have had in America. In America, Mark, you've
- 11:27Speaker 2: worked at the weekly magazines. You were at Us Weekly
- 11:30Speaker 2: for quite a while. We do run photographs of children.
- 11:33Speaker 2: In Britain, you have to pixelate their faces. You are
- 11:37Speaker 2: not allowed... to publish a photograph of a child in
- 11:40Speaker 2: Britain without the parents' permission. So ironically here, they're in
- 11:45Speaker 2: a very safe place. This has been caught. Had they
- 11:49Speaker 2: been in Montecito, those international photographers would have taken the
- 11:53Speaker 2: picture and they would have printed them. Where Meghan has
- 11:56Speaker 2: a big problem, Mark, and you are so right about this,
- 11:59Speaker 2: they have courted this sort of attention. She's constantly putting
- 12:03Speaker 2: up pictures of the back of their heads. Which is
- 12:07Speaker 2: the opposite that I would advise them to do. Any
- 12:11Speaker 2: PR professional would say, this is tricky. However, if you
- 12:15Speaker 2: release one picture of your kids, then that's it. Their
- 12:18Speaker 2: face is out there. This is the policy that William
- 12:22Speaker 2: and Catherine have adopted. They will give you limited access
- 12:27Speaker 2: to their children. And what that does is it lowers
- 12:29Speaker 2: the price of paparazzi pictures because we've seen them. We
- 12:33Speaker 2: know what George, we know what Charlotte, we know what
- 12:37Speaker 2: that naughty little Louis, my favourite, we know what he
- 12:39Speaker 2: looks like. And so I think Meghan and Harry should
- 12:42Speaker 2: really have a sit down and think about this. And
- 12:44Speaker 2: if they are manipulating this to get that taxpayer... Money,
- 12:49Speaker 2: shame on them. Okay, moving along. Pete Davidson has revealed
- 12:52Speaker 2: a shocking drug use before he went to rehab. So
- 12:57Speaker 2: I think we all knew that Pete was smoking weed.
- 13:00Speaker 2: What we did not know was how much other drugs
- 13:03Speaker 2: he was doing too. He did a huge interview with Variety,
- 13:05Speaker 2: talked about ketamine, acid, mushrooms, whippets, and smoking marijuana all day.
- 13:11Speaker 2: He said he got scared because he didn't feel high.
- 13:15Speaker 2: In fact, he felt high when he wasn't high. He
- 13:18Speaker 2: was high so often that that became the norm. I
- 13:21Speaker 2: have a little bit of insight on this. When he
- 13:23Speaker 2: was dating Ariana Grande, they moved into the building that
- 13:28Speaker 2: I live in. And I remember one day walking out
- 13:31Speaker 2: the building, Marge, and there were so many photographers. And
- 13:34Speaker 2: I said, boy, the Naughty But Nice show has exploded.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Look at all this intent. It was not for me.
- 13:40Speaker 2: It was Pete and Ariana. There were lots of rumors
- 13:44Speaker 2: within the building, building staff. that there was stuff going
- 13:47Speaker 2: on in that apartment and smells coming out from under
- 13:50Speaker 2: the door. And now we know, we're not saying this
- 13:52Speaker 2: was Ariana, but now we know, Pete, this is so,
- 13:56Speaker 2: so alarming. He's sober now. He's drug-free now. And so,
- 14:01Speaker 2: fingers crossed. Was this shocking to you, Mark, or did
- 14:02Speaker 2: you pretty much say, hmm, it tracks?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's kind of sad, actually. You know,
- 14:07Speaker 1: he made this career out of, or in the last
- 14:10Speaker 1: few years, about joking about his people he dated and
- 14:13Speaker 1: the drugs and everything else. And it kind of, put
- 14:16Speaker 1: him in this place of like, we kind of looked
- 14:18Speaker 1: at him like that. Like you're kind of just a
- 14:19Speaker 1: guy that gets high and parties and it's not as
- 14:22Speaker 1: so serious as we, you know, would like him to be.
- 14:24Speaker 1: And so I think it's sad. He created this kind of,
- 14:26Speaker 1: this chaos has become normal in his life. And that's
- 14:29Speaker 1: what he kind of just was. And so it's, you know,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I'm happy he came to a point where he realized
- 14:34Speaker 1: this is not working. And I do think he deserves
- 14:36Speaker 1: respect in the professional world because he is really talented
- 14:39Speaker 1: and charming. And he, you know, he's worked really hard.
- 14:42Speaker 2: The amount of self-loathing that, that really famous people have
- 14:45Speaker 2: is astonishing. That's why drugs are so tied into the
- 14:50Speaker 2: entertainment business. My question to Pete, and I've been interviewing him,
- 14:54Speaker 2: was what did Kim say about this? Like, we know
- 14:56Speaker 2: that Kim does not tolerate this. You don't look like
- 14:58Speaker 2: Kim Kardashian if you drink. I mean, she is totally
- 15:02Speaker 2: devoted to being Kim 24-7, and they did date a while,
- 15:07Speaker 2: and I'd be interested in knowing that dynamic, or obviously
- 15:11Speaker 2: to the dynamic... with Ariana Grande. I just can't imagine
- 15:16Speaker 2: Mark me finding this attractive. Maybe a glass of champagne,
- 15:20Speaker 2: maybe a little bit of naughtiness on a Saturday night,
- 15:24Speaker 2: but somebody that lives, wakes up and does drugs, does
- 15:27Speaker 2: them all day long. My heart breaks, but that is
- 15:30Speaker 2: not the boyfriend for me.
- 15:31Speaker 1: No, it's definitely not. But I will note that people
- 15:34Speaker 1: like him and Ariana have found themselves in these chaotic
- 15:37Speaker 1: situations quite frequently, you know, Kanye and ariana the list
- 15:41Speaker 1: of people that she's you know recently courted and so
- 15:43Speaker 1: it's not a total shock um but it is like
- 15:46Speaker 1: to your point kim is sober she's not playing around
- 15:48Speaker 1: she's a business person and ariana is not well we
- 15:51Speaker 1: know this.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah you're absolutely right okay we're gonna take
- 15:56Speaker 2: a quick break and we will be right back welcome
- 16:00Speaker 2: back to the naughty but nice jam your hair is
- 16:03Speaker 2: troubleshooting with our dear friend Mark, my voice is holding up.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I do find it a little raspy, but we're going
- 16:08Speaker 2: to get through this. Hey, let's get to the polls.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Last show we talked about, Matthew Perry spent $ 7 million
- 16:16Speaker 2: trying to get sober. His sister has revealed this in
- 16:19Speaker 2: a new documentary. I think it's on Netflix. Should the
- 16:22Speaker 2: family be talking? Matthew was a very private person, Mark.
- 16:27Speaker 2: He did not like this sort of gossip, this type
- 16:30Speaker 2: of information out there. Now that he's passed, I think
- 16:33Speaker 2: the family would say, the sister would say, if we
- 16:35Speaker 2: can help one person, it is worth it. We do
- 16:38Speaker 2: not want him to die in vain. And also, too,
- 16:41Speaker 2: and I think this is important, the period at the
- 16:44Speaker 2: end of the sentence at Matthew is his death, his drugs.
- 16:47Speaker 2: They want to change that dialogue. And if you watch
- 16:49Speaker 2: this documentary, obviously drugs and his death are a big
- 16:52Speaker 2: part of it. But there's also a lot of joy.
- 16:54Speaker 2: There's a lot of balance in this documentary. But should
- 16:57Speaker 2: the family be talking? Ooh, 60% said no. This is
- 17:01Speaker 2: not to be told. Hey, we don't have a poll today,
- 17:05Speaker 2: so normally I remind you now, don't forget to vote
- 17:07Speaker 2: on today's poll, but we don't have one today, so
- 17:09Speaker 2: we'll go straight into a nicest of the day.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Oh, this is a doubleheader, Rob. Taylor Swift has scored
- 17:19Speaker 1: huge VMA sales after appearing on the show, but Stevie
- 17:24Speaker 1: Wonder is a surprise story. Taylor is enjoying these massive sales, sirs,
- 17:29Speaker 1: following the VMAs, but the life of a showgirl, that's
- 17:32Speaker 1: the album she's put out, is expected to sell at
- 17:35Speaker 1: least 150,000 copies. But this weekend's surprise winner may be
- 17:39Speaker 1: Stevie Wonder. The music legend released a four-song EP celebrating
- 17:43Speaker 1: the 50th anniversary of his Songs in the Key of Life,
- 17:48Speaker 1: which is now short to number three on iTunes charts.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yeah, totally.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Ah!
- 17:52Speaker 2: I'm by Stevie Wonder this week. I love you. I
- 17:54Speaker 2: love you. But Stevie Wonder, I'm listening to you. Our
- 17:57Speaker 2: nicest of the day. And now I noticed today, naughty, naughty, naughty.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Dakota Johnson appears to lose her patience without Hathaway on
- 18:04Speaker 2: the red carpet. This video has made me giggle so
- 18:06Speaker 2: many times. So at the red carpet for the movie Verity,
- 18:10Speaker 2: which I think is a Colleen Hoover book. I love
- 18:12Speaker 2: her books. And so she's posing with Josh Hartnett, still
- 18:15Speaker 2: a very good looking man. heavily pregnant Anne Hathaway. And
- 18:19Speaker 2: the photographers are getting a little bit excited. This happens.
- 18:22Speaker 2: We've walked a million carpets, Mark. Anne takes charge. She's
- 18:25Speaker 2: a bossy bitch. So Anne decides to tell all the
- 18:29Speaker 2: other actors what they're going to do. And they're going
- 18:31Speaker 2: to start on the left and slowly look to the
- 18:34Speaker 2: right so everybody can get their shot. You want a
- 18:37Speaker 2: shot of you looking right into the camera. So Anne,
- 18:40Speaker 2: I think, was quite helpful. Although, where was the publicist?
- 18:43Speaker 2: There should have been somebody there doing this. Right. And
- 18:46Speaker 2: Dakota was not happy about this at all. And she responded,
- 18:49Speaker 2: then I am going to leave. So Anne said, quote,
- 18:53Speaker 2: we're going to start from the left. And they all
- 18:55Speaker 2: looked at Anne like, who are you, bossy boots? And
- 18:57Speaker 2: then Dakota, under a breath, said, then I'm going to leave. Oh,
- 19:00Speaker 2: it makes me laugh. Mark, they know what it is.
- 19:04Speaker 2: They've done a million of these red carpets. It's part
- 19:06Speaker 2: of the job. I love recording this show. I hate
- 19:10Speaker 2: the technical aspects of it. It's part of the job.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Learn it. You've got to do it. You should be
- 19:17Speaker 2: so lucky. There's going to come a day when maybe
- 19:19Speaker 2: photographers don't want to take your picture. And then let's
- 19:22Speaker 2: see how much you miss them. Our naughtiest of the day.
- 19:27Speaker 2: A bratty, bratty celebrity moment. Let's end with a moment
- 19:31Speaker 2: of rub. You're going to rub, you're going to rub,
- 19:32Speaker 2: you're going to rub. Laugh out loud every single day.
- 19:35Speaker 2: So life is so serious. You don't have to be though.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Every day, find something to make you laugh. Not a
- 19:42Speaker 2: polite smile, not a little chuckle, but a real laugh.
- 19:45Speaker 2: The kind of laugh you know. It It makes your
- 19:47Speaker 2: stomach hurt. And for a moment, you forget everything else
- 19:50Speaker 2: that you've been worrying about. So I call up friends
- 19:52Speaker 2: when I want to laugh. I've got some friends who
- 19:54Speaker 2: are very, very funny. I watch something ridiculous on YouTube.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It's normally a doggy video. I tell a terrible joke.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I can laugh at myself. I'm always tripping over. So
- 20:03Speaker 2: joy doesn't have to be these big moments, big life-changing moments.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Sometimes it just sneaks through, but you've got to recognise it.
- 20:11Speaker 2: So laugh today. Laugh loud. Laugh every day. And you're
- 20:15Speaker 2: not going to solve everything. You won't. But you might
- 20:17Speaker 2: make yourself feel a little lighter along the way. Mark,
- 20:22Speaker 2: we are full of joy. No, you are a happy guy.
- 20:24Speaker 2: There are things that come along that make us sad.
- 20:28Speaker 2: But our level of happiness is pretty high. And that's
- 20:31Speaker 2: because we notice it. Notice the happy in your life.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I promise if you look hard enough, something today will
- 20:39Speaker 2: happen that will make you happy and maybe even make
- 20:42Speaker 2: you laugh. Hey, that is it for today. Thank you
- 20:45Speaker 2: so much for listening to The Naughty But Nice with
