- 0:20Speaker 2: M hmmm, mm hmmmmm.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Make yourself comfortable and close your eyes. Take a deep
- 0:34breath in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe
- 0:40out through your mouth. Again, Deep breath in, and slowly
- 0:49and gently breathe out through your mouth. One more time.
- 0:57Deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe out through
- 1:03your mouth. Just relax and let your breathing come back
- 1:08to its normal rhythm. Now, imagine that you are in
- 1:14a beautiful, lush green meadow, and there are flowers growing
- 1:18all around the edges of this lovely field. Part of
- 1:23it have very long grass, and it's blowing in the
- 1:26gentle breeze. And here you are safe, You are loved,
- 1:34and you are protected. Always look around you. What else
- 1:40can you see? Take a good look around you. You
- 1:47hear rustling in the long grass, and you wonder what
- 1:51is it. You peer up ahead of you and say
- 1:55to yourself, No, it can't be, can it. Bounding towards
- 2:01you through the long grass is Simon, the little black
- 2:05pug dog you met last time you were here, But
- 2:08he looks a little bit bigger this time though. He
- 2:11dashes up to you and he leaps into the air
- 2:13and lands on top of you. He is so excited
- 2:15to see you again. His little tail is waggling like crazy.
- 2:20He is so happy to see you, and you are
- 2:22delighted to see him. He settled down and asks how
- 2:27you are. He tells you that it's nearly Christmas a
- 2:31public palace, and he asks you if you would like
- 2:35to come again. Well, of course you would, he says.
- 2:40All the other puppies remember you from last time you
- 2:42visited them, and they can't stop asking about you and
- 2:45can't wait to see you again. Just then you hear
- 2:50another voice, and this one you do recognize. It's Simon's mum, Violet,
- 2:55looking for him again. Oh there you are, Simon, she says.
- 3:01She sees you and gives you a great big brain
- 3:03and says, oh hello again. Have you come to stay
- 3:07with us? You feel something in your pocket and pull
- 3:12it out. It's an invitation to spend Christmas a puppy
- 3:17palace with the King and Queen and all of the
- 3:18other puppies and their families. The King and Queen have
- 3:23already spoken to your parents and guardians, and they have
- 3:26agreed that you can spend Christmas with them if you wish.
- 3:31You are thrilled at this because you know that a
- 3:35Puppy Palace, their Christmas is a week earlier than yours,
- 3:39so you could have two Christmases if you want to. Well,
- 3:45of course you say yes, who wouldn't want to have
- 3:47two Christmases. In the envelope there is magic puppy dust.
- 3:55It's very silky and very sparkly, and Violet tells you
- 3:59that all you have to do is throw it in
- 4:01the air and within the blink of an eye you'll
- 4:04be straight back at Puppy Palace. So you grab a
- 4:08great big pinch of the magic puppy dust and sprinkle
- 4:11it all over you, Simon and Violet and puff. You
- 4:14find yourself back in the field with Violet and Simon,
- 4:19but this time there are fairy lights everywhere. They're in
- 4:24the trees, they're in the bushes that are all over
- 4:27the white wooden fence, and on the gate there is
- 4:30a huge sign in twinkling lights saying welcome to Puppy Palace,
- 4:35Winter Wonderland. You're back again. Violet opens the gate and
- 4:41you all trot through it. What you see on the
- 4:46other side is absolutely amazing. You see the very large
- 4:52castle with the many turrets, and the whole place is
- 4:55still painted white with big black spots all over the boat,
- 5:00but this time the palace is covered with thousands of
- 5:04sparkling lights in many different colors, and lots and lots
- 5:09and lots of snow. You once again follow the pathway
- 5:16to the palace up to the most amazingly large doors,
- 5:20the biggest you've ever seen. They are enormous, and again
- 5:26they are still white with black spots, but there is
- 5:34the most amazing wreath hanging on each door. The big
- 5:39doors open up for you as if by magic, and
- 5:43when you step through the other side, you see what
- 5:46looks like a gigantic house of fun. You see a
- 5:50majestic scene of bright colors everywhere. There are lots of dazzling,
- 5:56colorful lights all over the place. Every door that you
- 6:00see has wreaths on them, and each one is different,
- 6:04but they are very shiny and very sparkly. The snow
- 6:09is all around you, and it's still snowing even now.
- 6:14You see dogs made of snow with big, brightly colored
- 6:18scarves on them. They even have pieces of coal for
- 6:21their noses. Some of them even have hats on, and
- 6:26some of them look as if they are smoking the pipe.
- 6:29They're look ever so funny. There are fireflies in jars
- 6:35hanging in all of the trees. Oh, it looks so wonderful.
- 6:40There are candy canes dangling in the trees, with lots
- 6:42of doggy trees too. There are bright red Christmas stockings
- 6:47hanging all over the place. You see many brightly lit
- 6:52reindeers standing in the snow, and they too shine so
- 6:55brightly with all of the twinkling lights all over them.
- 7:00The Christmas trees are amazing. There are many of them,
- 7:05but there is one that is the biggest of them all.
- 7:09It has a beautiful star shaped lights hanging all over it.
- 7:14There are glass bulbul decorations all shaped like little dogs.
- 7:18In fact, there is a bable for every kind of
- 7:21dog that there is. It's filled with treats for everyone,
- 7:26and it looks so beautiful with the snow gently falling
- 7:30down on it. Suddenly there is a rush of commotion
- 7:36and many puppies come rushing towards you. The pups recognize you,
- 7:40They jump all over you, giving you hundreds of puppy kisses,
- 7:44and each one of them is wearing their winter outfits
- 7:46and they look ever sup porch I still keep them
- 7:49nice and warm and snuggling, and it's like a riot
- 7:52of color everywhere. Simon introduces you to his best friend,
- 7:59who is called Noel. Noel is a huge Saint Bernard.
- 8:05He is giannormous, and you think it looks kind of
- 8:09funny really, as Simon is a tiny pug dog and
- 8:13his best friend Noel is a giant Saint Bernard, he
- 8:17makes Simon look very small. Indeed, Simon and Noel are
- 8:23wearing matching jumpers with a big doggy Santa Pause on them.
- 8:28They've got little lights on them too, and they sparkle.
- 8:32Santa Paus is a doggy version of your Santa. Simon
- 8:39tells you that it is winter Wonderland at the Palace now,
- 8:43with lots of new things to explore since your last visit.
- 8:47It's Christmas here and they have gone all out to
- 8:51make it fantastic, and you think it really does look fantastic.
- 8:58Simon begins to tell you what you think they have.
- 9:01The Olympic sized swimming pool has been converted into a
- 9:05huge ice rink and they've been playing ice hockey on it. Also,
- 9:11when they were not playing ice hockey, they've been skating,
- 9:14you know, ice skating like tau Valentin, but not quite
- 9:19as good as them, but nearly. He tells you they
- 9:23have a bob sligh that goes all the way around
- 9:26the palace. They have a giant ski slope with dogs
- 9:30on skis, which is very funny to watch as they
- 9:33have two paws on each ski and they wobble a
- 9:35lot and they fall off a lot too. Simon says
- 9:40that you can even join in with the annual Hide
- 9:43and Sneak Championship if you like, and it is just
- 9:48like Hide and Seek, but in the snow. How cool
- 9:51is that sneaking around? Wow, there are so many different
- 9:59things for you all to do, so for a few moments,
- 10:03join in with all the puppies and have some fun.
- 10:07Maybe you can do the bob sleigh or the ice hockey,
- 10:11maybe you can do all of them. So go and
- 10:14have some fun with Simon and his best friend Noel.
- 10:19Speaker 2: M hm.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Hm m hm.
- 10:26Speaker 2: M hm h m hm hm hm.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Back and.
- 11:58Speaker 3: A boot boot boot back.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Wow, that was such fun. But now it's time to
- 13:15return to the castle for the big Christmas feast. You
- 13:20enter the Great Hall and see the King hands the
- 13:24German Shepherd and Queen Penelope the poodle sitting on their
- 13:29thrones at the head of the great table. The table
- 13:34is laid with the biggest feast you have ever seen.
- 13:39There is all the food you could ever wish to eat.
- 13:43There is an enormous turkey, a big joint of ham,
- 13:47and a piece of roast beef so big looks like
- 13:50a size of a cow. There is every vegetable known
- 13:55to dog, and there are vegetarian and vegan options available to.
- 14:03Speaker 4: You.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Wonder what earth there will be for pudding and if
- 14:07you can even fit it into your belly. There is
- 14:12lots of laughter all around the table as you sit
- 14:14down on your chair. Everyone is having so much fun.
- 14:19There is even a puppy choir singing jingle bells at
- 14:23the top of the room. So enjoy your food and
- 14:26have fun. Wow, that was a lot of food to eat.
- 15:31He didn't think you'd eat that much, did you, But
- 15:35you did. Now it's time for roasting marshmallows on the
- 15:40big open fire. So you and the puppies all sit
- 15:45with your marshmallows on a big silver fork, chatting and
- 15:49having fun and watching them roast. And it smells delicious.
- 15:56After you've eaten your marshmallows. Simon says, there's a little
- 16:00surprise for you. He tells you that with all the
- 16:05leftover food that no one can eat, you're all going
- 16:08to have a food fight. Oh my goodness, me wow,
- 16:15the food fight. This is so cool. You all rush
- 16:20the table and grab whatever food you can and start
- 16:23throwing it at each other. You're laughing so much that
- 16:27your sides head just a little bit. The food flies
- 16:34backwards and forwards, hits people on the noses, on their ears,
- 16:40and it plops down on the heads. This is so
- 16:44much fun. You, Simon and Noel are covered with gravy, potatoes, peas,
- 17:00and everything else, and you.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Just squeal with laughter. You've never had so much fun.
- 17:07This is an amazing place to be. Then Violet steps
- 17:13in to calm you all down and gently tells you
- 17:17that you all have to get cleaned up because it's
- 17:20really time for bed now, So off you all go
- 17:24to have a wash and put on your clean pjs.
- 17:30Violet sees that the three of you are really tired
- 17:32now and leads you into another very large room. This
- 17:37is the room which has the biggest dog bed you.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Have ever seen. It is the size of a small house.
- 17:45Oh my, it's made of the softest fair and has
- 17:50the biggest, squishiest cushions made of feathers for you to
- 17:55lie down on. Just before you climb into bed, Violet
- 18:01says there is a gift for each of you, and
- 18:05then she hands them to you. Your gift has brightly
- 18:09colored wrapping paper and is tired with silver tinsel. Wow,
- 18:15what is it? What is the beautiful gift they have
- 18:19given to you? You feel so very happy now you
- 18:41know you truly have really beautiful and kind friends. You
- 18:47are so grateful for them being in your life, and
- 18:51you give a great, big sigh of happiness. The three
- 18:56of you try to climb in the big bed with Noel,
- 19:00but because he is so big, there's no room for
- 19:04you and Simon. Besides, Simon whispers to you that although
- 19:09he loves Noel, his best friend, so very much, he
- 19:13does snow really loudly. See you and Simon get into
- 19:18your own smaller bed. You close your eyes and you
- 19:23snuggle down to sleep. You take a big, deep breath
- 19:29and sign it out because you are so very happy,
- 19:34so happy to be with Simon his best friend, Noel,
- 19:39so happy to be with these beautiful puppies, these wonderful
- 19:44puppies with very big brown eyes, and they're just filled
- 19:47full of love, so happy to have met all of
- 19:52the other lovely puppies. And this has been the best
- 19:57Christmas ever. So snuggle off next assignment and breathe in
- 20:04gently as you slowly drift into the most peaceful night's sleep.
- 20:12Good night, sleep tight, oh and Happy Christmas.
