- 0:00laced up. Let's go! It's time for Banter with
- 0:04the Boys. Welcome back to Banter with the Boys.
- 0:14This is Gridiron Updates tent talk episode. Not
- 0:20ready, man. Did it pop out of socket? No. Get
- 0:23that guy in the blue tent. We're back. Roberto.
- 0:26That's what we talk about. We gotta add you to
- 0:28the injury list. I'm always available. Always
- 0:33available. That's Roberto, of course. Next to
- 0:36him, we got our guest, Denver Bronco fan, Nathan
- 0:40in the house. What's up? There's a wave for you.
- 0:43Non -YouTube. Orange Crush. Is that his nickname?
- 0:48Orange Crush. Don't tempt me with nicknames.
- 0:52I might make them stick. Okay, Flock Doc. No,
- 0:55not me. That's Flock Doc. What's up, Flock Doc?
- 0:59We're ready to talk some tent. That's right.
- 1:03Yeah. Yeah. Nice. Information. Good call. That's
- 1:05right. Good call. We don't have to do it if it's
- 1:07not the full word. That's right. That's right.
- 1:09Kev behind the camera, get everything done for
- 1:11us as always. Thanks, Kev. Anyway, let's get
- 1:16right into some injuries. Nathan, how this works.
- 1:18I don't know. I kind of just go down the list.
- 1:20And if there's anything that jumps out at anybody,
- 1:23just kind of, you know, sprinkle something in
- 1:25there. You know what I mean? Yeah. First on the
- 1:28list here, Debo Samuel, hamstring. He might miss
- 1:31a few weeks already in a depleted receiver room
- 1:34just on this season. So no good there. Jennings
- 1:39back from the Vikes trade. Sorry. Well, they
- 1:42lost Ricky Purcell, too. Wow. Yeah. That's all
- 1:45right. They got Mike Evans being a stutter. Yeah,
- 1:48that's interesting. You're saying you think.
- 1:50The Vikings goes over there. Yeah, Vikings. They
- 1:52were talking about it. Because he's very frustrated
- 1:55right now. Yeah, and apparently he was annoyed
- 1:59with K .O. Cedar in the game or something. Well,
- 2:01the question that people kept asking me, and
- 2:03maybe Rob can help with this, was why did they
- 2:05activate our healthy scratch Odell Beckham? Well,
- 2:09they didn't know if Jefferson was going to play.
- 2:11But also, then somebody else can't take him off
- 2:15of the practice squad, right? No, Practice Scott's
- 2:18wide open. Right, but he's saying once you activate
- 2:21him, then healthy scratch him, but then nobody
- 2:23can take him because he's activated. I don't
- 2:25think anyone's knocking on the door that hard
- 2:27for him. Right, but it also shows, hey, I want
- 2:31to use you eventually. So that might, I don't
- 2:33know, it just ties in. He's all go together.
- 2:36Exactly, but I mean, just on tape, though, I
- 2:38don't think Jennings has been playing bad. I
- 2:40think just Kyler's just been, all his misses
- 2:43are when Jennings is open. That's where I think
- 2:47Jennings is frustrated at. He's putting in the
- 2:49work. You could see definitely last game he did
- 2:52check out towards the end on the run blocking
- 2:54a little bit. I think Paul Churchill had a little
- 2:57comment on a video of it. But I think he's just
- 3:01frustrated not seeing the ball. You don't get
- 3:02paid that much money. But you're thinking. Possibility.
- 3:07You never know. Not with OBJ like Nathan was
- 3:11saying that now we have some depth still. Right,
- 3:14and they worked out Juju Smith -Schuster apparently
- 3:16the other day, too. Yeah, haven't heard that
- 3:18name before. But you know what? Might as well
- 3:20bring Tyreek in for a workout. That's all I'm
- 3:23saying. Might as well. Might as well. See where
- 3:27that – his leg's still there and where it's at.
- 3:32Anyway, Javon Hargrave, he's done for the year
- 3:35with another injury. Man, the Packers just continue
- 3:38to get decimated defensively. So it's just like
- 3:41– Pam Cooper. Just don't even rush Micah Parsons
- 3:44back at this point. Now, I will say, I mean,
- 3:46big win for them this past weekend. Huge, huge,
- 3:48huge win. I feel like the game would have been
- 3:50slightly different with a Caleb Williams in the
- 3:52game. Oh, yeah. But, I mean, that's a big win
- 3:55for them and kind of at least gives them some
- 3:57confidence, puts them back into that NFC North
- 4:00conversation because, no offense, knock on wood
- 4:03here. Hey, the Vikes could still absolutely go
- 4:07back the other direction. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm
- 4:09just saying. Another wild comment. So in 2002,
- 4:15I was a cheerleader security guard, and we were
- 4:176 -0, and I'd have to sit underneath, 6 -0, 6
- 4:20-0. Guess what happened after that? They were
- 4:230 -6. So, hey, it could absolutely go back the
- 4:27other way. So the Packers, again, getting a division
- 4:29win against arguably the team that I would imagine
- 4:32would. be the most likely to challenge the Vikings
- 4:35at this point and the Bears. So it's like, okay.
- 4:37So, I don't know. Another huge loss for that
- 4:40Packers defense. Trevion Henderson, high ankle
- 4:43sprain. Another running back room that's, you
- 4:47know, a little banged up. We'll talk about Philadelphia's
- 4:50running back room here coming up. Actually, we'll
- 4:52just talk about it now since I brought it up.
- 4:54Will Shipley, you know, he goes down. But Saquon
- 4:58could be back this week. If he's not, I mean,
- 5:01the Eagles aren't. They're in trouble offensively
- 5:03right now, and that run game just doesn't exist
- 5:05at all without Saquon in the game. Plus, that
- 5:08O -line is absolutely... Frankenstein together
- 5:11at this point. So I, man, trade and just, and
- 5:16he didn't play this week, right? But it's going
- 5:19to play next week. Yeah. He's expected. Yeah.
- 5:21He was talking about it. Yeah. He was in concussion
- 5:23protocol this week, but he's likely, if he clears
- 5:27is likely going to be starting at center and
- 5:29then we're going to get Venga back over guard
- 5:31while we're here with the flock doc. Oh, Lamar
- 5:37Jackson. What is it? Oh, yeah, I was going to
- 5:39bring this up earlier. He's playing. Yeah, Vegas
- 5:41says he's playing. Yeah, I already got him in
- 5:43my fantasy lineup. I'm holding off right now
- 5:45because he still has an out -designator, so I
- 5:49have him on my IR spot. Well, tomorrow's the
- 5:52day, right? So if he plays tomorrow, I mean,
- 5:54practice. Yeah. Well, even if he doesn't practice,
- 5:58if he practices on Friday, he's going to go.
- 6:02They'll probably just ease him in through things
- 6:05and do walk -throughs. I mean, my sources say
- 6:07that he... Could have played last week if he
- 6:09needed him. He was that close. Yeah. Sources.
- 6:14Sources. Sources. Yeah. Lamar's going to play
- 6:17this week. Sources. Against the Browns? Division
- 6:20game? Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. Right on. Yeah. Right.
- 6:24Right. Which we'll talk about that game actually
- 6:26coming up in our week six preview and picks episodes.
- 6:28Don't forget to check that out, by the way, after
- 6:30our, usually it's released after 10 talk. Oh.
- 6:33Oh. Oh. Oh. And you set it up. I know. Because
- 6:39I wasn't going to say it. I know. Like, my brain
- 6:42had to say it. I don't know. We'll talk about
- 6:43it afterwards. All right. Yeah. If I show up
- 6:47to week six Preview and Picks episode with a
- 6:49black eye, you know who it came from. Flock Doc.
- 6:53Yeah, the Flock Doc. Flock off. Anyway, all right.
- 6:59Where was I? Here. Oh, okay. T .J. Hawkinson,
- 7:01he entered concussion protocol. You know, so
- 7:03Kyler Murray's safety blanket, no good. We need
- 7:06him. But Bartholomew stepped up. Not we. The
- 7:09Vikings need him. What's, Ben, your check? There
- 7:14it is. Yeah, sure. The other tight end. So we'll
- 7:17see. David Montgomery, he went down with a groin
- 7:21injury and could miss a couple weeks. That's
- 7:23bad news for the Texans. That's really bad news
- 7:26because their bad running game just got worse.
- 7:29Right. Correct. He only had week one, though.
- 7:31Yeah, he did look pretty bad the last couple
- 7:34weeks. Correct. But that's another identity thing.
- 7:36They're a defensive team. They need to run the
- 7:38ball. For sure. So that's why they traded for
- 7:41a receiver this week. Wait, that was in the news?
- 7:46Yeah. It's coming in the news. We'll talk about
- 7:50that. That was weird. Lions linebacker Devin
- 7:55White, he went down with a broken forearm. That
- 7:58will require surgery. Lions also just lost a
- 8:01tight end with some sort of knee injury too.
- 8:03I forgot who that was. Relevant. If it was same
- 8:08Laporta, it would be right. It wasn't Laporta.
- 8:10It wasn't Laporta. Some guy in the practice squad.
- 8:13No, it was like a number two guy. Pretty sure.
- 8:17He's a blocking guy. It's debatable. I know.
- 8:19We don't know yet. I clearly know. Okay, we talked
- 8:22to Flock Doc about Lamar Jackson. Yep. Okay,
- 8:24Hanex Jr., I mean, his ribs, we clearly saw a
- 8:30difference in that offense when Tua came in to
- 8:33try to save the day. I mean, for three plays.
- 8:36We got to give it to a little bit of grace. For
- 8:39sure, coming in cold sitting the entire game.
- 8:41You know what I mean? And again, we gave Kyle
- 8:43Hamilton his flowers in the last episode. Is
- 8:46it his front side ribs or backside? I feel like
- 8:49it's backside. Yeah, he got blindsided. Yeah.
- 8:52Clean hit. Yeah, clean hit. He just got absolutely
- 8:55destroyed. Great blocking by the tight end and
- 8:56Bijan, actually. But it does. He was the one
- 8:59that caused it. He actually took out the blocker.
- 9:01But it does feel like the way he was playing,
- 9:03like Atlanta needs to have him in there. He was
- 9:05playing well, well enough to win that game. Yeah,
- 9:08you saw his expression at the end of the game
- 9:09with the towel on his head. Yeah. He just didn't
- 9:12even want to say a word. No, no. Nobody was,
- 9:14too. Nobody went over and talked to him at all.
- 9:17Oh, God. Anyway, apparently Caleb Williams is
- 9:20close. He could return this week. And if it's
- 9:23not this week, then it should absolutely be next
- 9:25week. So Caleb Williams is very close. That's
- 9:28bad news for the NFC North. Okay. some news we'll
- 9:32talk about Marvin Harrison right away traded
- 9:34to the Texans but we didn't really know that
- 9:36right off the bat it was just reported that I
- 9:39don't know if I've seen that before where it's
- 9:42been reported like hey he's traded but nobody
- 9:45effing knows where and like for me if Schefter
- 9:48doesn't come out and say where he's traded to
- 9:49then I guess it just hasn't happened yet yeah
- 9:51some intern you know there was some strategy
- 9:54maybe they're trying to find a mole Well, I mean,
- 9:59there's got to be one out there. Scapegoat. But
- 10:03there's that. He gets to reunite with C .J. Stroud.
- 10:06Does that spark anything for you guys? Or it's
- 10:09like, wow, wait and see. I mean, you saw the
- 10:12preseason stuff. He looked really bad. He needs
- 10:15his confidence back. And that might change the
- 10:17scenery. The quarterback he's familiar with,
- 10:20maybe he can spark something. But that's such
- 10:23a different offensive. I mean, obviously it's
- 10:25a different offensive scheme from Arizona to
- 10:27Texas. But, again, defensive team, their identity
- 10:31is running the football. And then C .J. Stroud
- 10:33should be making, like, big plays. to like keep
- 10:37drives alive or try to put points on the board
- 10:39and then continue to just run the football. And
- 10:42that's not where Marvin Harrison Jr. excels at.
- 10:45Like he needs to run a lot of routes. He needs
- 10:48to see a lot of balls thrown his way in order
- 10:50to be successful. And that's just not what that
- 10:53offense is. Well, maybe if he's not the number
- 10:55one, right? So he goes over there and they put
- 10:57him in the slot. They put him on the backside.
- 10:59He's not the focus. Sure. Maybe. Yeah. Because
- 11:03I mean, that was a lot of pressure, your dad.
- 11:04And then you also. You went through a couple
- 11:06of different offensive coordinators and head
- 11:08coaches. And he's a big body receiver, too, so
- 11:12it's like that second option. Should be a red
- 11:13zone throw. Yeah, you should be doing that. Texans
- 11:16always did that West Coast offense boot stuff.
- 11:18Just get out the ball to him. Give me a seven
- 11:20-yard something. You just need one catch. One
- 11:23catch to turn the vibe. That's all it takes.
- 11:26Just like you. Just one catch. One catch. Oh,
- 11:30my God. Right on. All right. Former Vikings.
- 11:36assistant head coach, Matt Patin, hired in Dallas
- 11:41as a senior defensive assistant. As it seems,
- 11:44Jerry Jones is a little concerned maybe about
- 11:48his young defensive coordinator play caller,
- 11:51but he's going to change it. I think he could.
- 11:55I think he could. That's weird. I don't know.
- 11:58It's weird that this was such big news to me.
- 12:03But I just feel like it was worth mentioning
- 12:05because we could see a change there, to be honest.
- 12:07I don't know. It's a step in the wrong direction
- 12:10for the defensive coordinator. He's probably
- 12:12going to lose his job at the end of the year.
- 12:14Ravens went through something similar a couple
- 12:16of years ago with Zach Orr when he took over
- 12:18as defensive coordinator, and things just weren't
- 12:21working out. So they brought in the old defensive
- 12:23coordinator just to be like, hey, you're going
- 12:26to just be a consultant. Hopefully help him figure
- 12:31it out, but it's probably too late at this point.
- 12:35Yep, writing's on the wall. Help me move into
- 12:36your office. Here's a box. All right, let's talk
- 12:41about some of these coaching blunders here. I
- 12:43want to save the commanders for last because
- 12:45that's interesting. Just real quick, I mean,
- 12:48we already kind of touched on the Seattle thing
- 12:50a little bit with McDonald. Internet's viewing
- 12:54it as a coaching blunder. We're all kind of like,
- 12:57well, it's... We agree with what he said, kind
- 13:00of came out and said it. I was just being aggressive.
- 13:02You're running back. You got to hold on to the
- 13:03ball. It is what it is, you know. It just sucks
- 13:06that the momentum has truly changed so far in
- 13:09one direction. You want to talk about Nick, don't
- 13:11you? What? Nick's coming up. Nick's coming up.
- 13:14And then the Chargers failed fourth and one.
- 13:16You said you would have went for it, you know,
- 13:18being up in that situation. Yeah, I don't listen.
- 13:22Yeah, I don't necessarily mind it. That one is
- 13:25one that you could just go either way on. Just
- 13:27like, well, if they get it, then he looks like
- 13:29a genius. If he punts and the defense holds,
- 13:31you're like, yep, smart play rather than going
- 13:33for it. It's like the hindsight thing. It's the
- 13:37analytics thing where we get too deep in the
- 13:39analytics, but then the analytics are usually
- 13:40right. So it's a lose -lose no matter what you
- 13:45do. Right on, right on. Yes, let's talk about
- 13:49the Knicks thing, the Eagles game. Is that the
- 13:52Nick thing you're talking about? Yeah, yeah.
- 13:54Yeah. So, I mean, do you want to bring it in?
- 13:56Just kick it out of the end zone, obviously.
- 13:57The problem's solved there in that scenario.
- 13:59Well, to me, I thought it was funny because just
- 14:04the other week, you had almost the exact opposite
- 14:06thing with Dallas and Baltimore. And Baltimore
- 14:10had a timeout, and then you decide to kick it
- 14:13out of the end zone. That's the difference, though,
- 14:15is the timeout. But if you think, I think. I
- 14:21actually don't mind the decision to kick it because
- 14:24their punt coverage team failed is really what
- 14:30it boils down to. Because if they were successful
- 14:34and... held like held him to like even even the
- 14:3930 you still would have milked off like four
- 14:41or five seconds like i understand the logic of
- 14:45caught like making him return take time off the
- 14:47clock and then that it was just that punk coverage
- 14:50just absolutely atrocious i don't kick off coverage
- 14:55yeah the kickoff coverage i don't mind the decision
- 14:58i thought it was fine I'm kicking out the back
- 15:01of the end zone. That's it. Just with no timeout.
- 15:03I think that's the difference between the two.
- 15:06I mean, trust your players. Sometimes as a coach,
- 15:09you want to know if they've been playing well.
- 15:12But I guess then that leads into the next one
- 15:15as the Washington Commanders game. Oh, my God.
- 15:16If you want to go there and set that up there.
- 15:19How do you feel? It's actually not even started
- 15:23at the end of it. It's the Washington losing
- 15:28the ball. fumbling and then the Giants getting
- 15:31the ball back in field goal range. Scataboo trying
- 15:36to get another yard set up the kicker from the
- 15:40right angle wherever you want punch out Washington
- 15:43getting the ball back going down 45 seconds.
- 15:48We'll say running clock. Yeah, go from there
- 15:50coach. What are you doing there in that scenario
- 15:52moving with a purpose okay i mean after every
- 15:59single play there was no sense of urgency in
- 16:02the in the slightest from my quarterback i mean
- 16:05that'd be the that'd be where i'm the most frustrated
- 16:07actually for me in the headset you're telling
- 16:10them no timeouts this is what we're doing this
- 16:12is this is the hash mark we want to go on the
- 16:15last conversation you have with them is we're
- 16:17running this play and then this play and then
- 16:19we'll find out you know what i mean and go from
- 16:21there and that's where you have hand signals
- 16:22or whatever you're doing the quick quick stuff,
- 16:24but they have headsets, so you just tell them.
- 16:26I mean, I don't understand that. And then the
- 16:29exact last play, I mean... What was the call
- 16:33there? Like, was it a throw it out of bounds?
- 16:37I don't know. I think it was supposed to be a
- 16:41throw it out of bounds. Be like, hey, if there's
- 16:45a quick out that's there, hit it. If not, it
- 16:48should just be dirt it, right? That's probably
- 16:50what the intention was. But then I think Jaden
- 16:56Daniels was trying to make a big play. Do you
- 16:58think he knew he had a timeout? No. He's going
- 17:02for that Hail Mary again. Yeah. But there's still
- 17:05at least enough. I felt like there could have
- 17:08been enough time to at least try to clock it
- 17:10with a second or two. Well, didn't they have
- 17:13a clock management like a week before, too? Yes.
- 17:16Yeah. Someone on the radio was like, he should
- 17:21have got fired then. Yeah. Because it was like,
- 17:25so the play before. It wasn't even cold, please.
- 17:28Yeah. For one. Yeah. Yeah. So the clock, the
- 17:32clock is running at that point. But with 40 some
- 17:36seconds left. Yeah. So you've got time. A minute
- 17:42left. You've got time for like. two or three
- 17:45plays. Or just kick the field goal. It's overtime.
- 17:49The clock doesn't matter. If you kick the field
- 17:51goal, the game's over. That 35 seconds doesn't
- 17:54matter. I don't know what we're doing, people.
- 18:01I'm just an idiot down talking about football
- 18:03in the basement. I think I figured that out.
- 18:07It just felt like a lack of planning for that
- 18:10game situation. Almost nobody knew. What to do
- 18:15in that situation? Like, I don't know. And a
- 18:17lack of, to your point, also a lack of urgency
- 18:20because it didn't seem like Jaden Daniels knew
- 18:22that he needed to get his butt off the ground.
- 18:24He laid there like he was on vacation. That's
- 18:26what I mean. I just, that, that's what had me
- 18:30frustrated. His elbow hurt. Hey, it probably
- 18:33does. It probably does. The pills wore off. He's
- 18:37got to take more. The end of the game. What else
- 18:39do we got here? Do we want to touch into the
- 18:42Cooper Cup catch? Yeah, do your first down there.
- 18:45Like everyone's kind of been, this is one of
- 18:48the big debates so far on the internet this week.
- 18:51It was like, did he get the first down or not?
- 18:54When's the ball officially out? And I think if
- 18:57we pull up the first photo, Kevin, so this is
- 19:00the best angle. So the rule in the NFL book is
- 19:02when the full ball is outside the white line
- 19:06is officially when it's dead, right? Full ball.
- 19:09Full ball. So right here in this picture, would
- 19:12we all somewhat agree that the ball looks like
- 19:14it's fully out? Yeah, because the edge of the
- 19:16ball right there by his thumb. If you notice,
- 19:19look at Cooper Cupp's back or his left hand.
- 19:23Looks like it's on the ball right now. Left hand's
- 19:26on the ball. Alright, so let's remember that
- 19:30left hand on the back of the ball. If we move
- 19:31it to the replay now here, slow it down here.
- 19:35At what point do you say that the ball is...
- 19:38Get the wheel out. All right, where's that backhand
- 19:41touch that ball if we pause it? Out of bounds.
- 19:47Right there. All right, so that's where in that
- 19:49picture we said there was out of bounds from
- 19:51that angle. All right, if we go back to the beginning
- 19:53of this bit, so on that side angle, and pause
- 19:57it right about, all right. Now, a little back
- 20:03if we can get it. Now, see when his hand touches
- 20:09the ball? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So if we took that
- 20:12picture in relation to the photo. where we've
- 20:15all decided that was officially out of bounds
- 20:17when his back of his hand is on it. If we look
- 20:20at the video, that looks like it's way past first
- 20:23down. Yeah, correct. I thought it was a first
- 20:27down in real life while watching the game. So
- 20:30that's my view of it. I don't know if anyone
- 20:32else sees anything different on that aspect of
- 20:35it. So that's how I guess, if I'm going to relate
- 20:38it to the rules with that good angle of the photo
- 20:40and determining where it's out of bounds. How
- 20:43do we get more camera angles? I don't know. How
- 20:46does the NFL get more camera angles? Why do you
- 20:48keep bringing up the left hand? What's the deal
- 20:50with the left hand? We'll just give you a reference
- 20:51from the video. So if you can go, all right,
- 20:54where is Cooper Cup's left hand? The ball is
- 20:57definitely out of bounds. So that would be the
- 21:00out of bounds part, right about there. So you're
- 21:02saying, okay, and the ball is completely over
- 21:05the line. It looks like it's out of bounds right
- 21:07there. So your argument is the ball is like half
- 21:09out of bounds as it's crossing the first down.
- 21:11So if you look right now, his hand is on the
- 21:14back of the ball. and that reference. That's
- 21:18got to be pretty close to being the first down
- 21:20versus super short. I guess that's my view of
- 21:25how I view that call for the internet. Talk some
- 21:30crap to me if you think different. I thought
- 21:33he had it. I think you presented a pretty good
- 21:37argument. When's the meeting with the shield?
- 21:42Right on. We've got to get these refs going here.
- 21:45That's on you. That's a whole different conversation.
- 21:49You don't have it on here, but the game last
- 21:52night with that amazing kicker. Oh, yeah. He
- 21:57got released today. Meevis? No, not Meevis. Meevis.
- 22:05Dang it, butthead. Yeah. Anyway. Yeah, what a
- 22:12game that was last night, too, in general. Josh
- 22:15Allen, I feel like, is usually on the losing
- 22:17end of some of those. Yeah, usually. What did
- 22:20I say in the chat last night? I feel like I said,
- 22:22like, but Josh Allen can usually win these games
- 22:26in the regular season, but you should. Yeah,
- 22:28you were saying that he should lose these now
- 22:31so that way he wins them in the postseason. Right,
- 22:34because usually he wins these games. It was some
- 22:37haiku that we were trying to figure out. I don't
- 22:41know. I don't know. It was good to see Josh Allen
- 22:43for him get one of these. But, again, it's just
- 22:48we know where he can take the bills. We've seen
- 22:51it so many times. So we already know. We won't
- 22:53even beat the dead horse. We know what he's got
- 22:55to do. He's got to get to the Super Bowl. Anyway,
- 22:58but I did put in here, too. I don't know if there's
- 23:00going to be any sort of punishment for this at
- 23:03all. But Rams offensive tackle, Aleric Jackson,
- 23:08punched Bradley Chubb. Kind of like at the center
- 23:12field. I'm sure there's going to be. Did you
- 23:15see it? No, I didn't see that. But I think something's
- 23:18going to happen because Dre Greenlaw got suspended
- 23:20for a game for headbutting. Yeah, that's right.
- 23:23Which was wild to see. Yeah. I like it. Headbutting
- 23:29people? No. Before we end the tent talk episode,
- 23:34the same three teams remain undefeated. Chiefs
- 23:38coming off of bye. So according to... Doc Flock
- 23:41over here, they're going to win this week, no
- 23:44problem. I can't even remember who they play,
- 23:46but it doesn't matter. Yeah, it's a W. It doesn't
- 23:48matter who they play. Vikings are winning this
- 23:50week, too. Yep. Vikings don't play this week.
- 23:52That's the point. That's why it's a W. The Chiefs
- 23:55are going to overuse Walker. He's going to get
- 23:57hurt again. Are the Niners on by this week, too,
- 24:00I feel like? No. Who do they play? Oh, they do
- 24:02play. Who do they play? Oh, yeah, the Commanders,
- 24:06duh. We talked about that in the recap episode.
- 24:11So we all anticipate they win that game and stay
- 24:13undefeated this week as well. So we'll see, I
- 24:17guess. That's all I got. Is there any other injuries
- 24:20or news that we missed on your thing here? No.
- 24:24No, no good. What about you, Roberto? I probably
- 24:27had a list a little bit ago. Just looking at
- 24:29what we talked about. Samuels, Shipley, Penix,
- 24:33Montgomery, Henderson. in junkins injury um sanders
- 24:39too so uh picking up um jerry mclaughlin uh fantasy
- 24:45impact right there available hawkins and we talked
- 24:48about the injury to uh braylon cooks also another
- 24:52guy just because debo's picked up so you might
- 24:55see a couple of the his snaps caught up but uh
- 24:59i think it was by week cincinnati detroit miami
- 25:02minnesota Okay, right on. That's your fantasy
- 25:05minute. Right on, right on. So Miami won't win
- 25:08a game this week either. Right on. All right.
- 25:12Well, with that, you got anything, any little
- 25:15tidbits you want to throw out there? I guess
- 25:17the only thing from injury, the Broncos play
- 25:19on Thursday against Seattle, and Sertain is out
- 25:22for two weeks, and Moss is still out for one
- 25:24more game. So top two corners, JSN is going to
- 25:27try to cook right away. 100 % it is. So that'll
- 25:30be a tough game. Right on, right on. Well, we'll
- 25:33get you. Don't forget to check out our preview
- 25:35in week six preview and picks episode because
- 25:38we'll get Nathan's take on that Broncos and Seattle
- 25:42game. The deep dive. Before we close out that
- 25:44episode. So don't forget to check that out if
- 25:46you are curious. With that, thanks for being
- 25:50here tonight in general, helping us out, Nathan.
- 25:52Thank you. Really appreciate your input here.
- 25:55Roberto right next to me. I already know. There
- 25:58it is. Jake. Yo. Top of the evening to you, sir.
