- 0:02Speaker 1: In a beautiful kingdom surrounded by tall green mountains. Princess
- 0:06Speaker 1: Barbie was getting ready for the most important night of
- 0:09Speaker 1: the year, the Star Festival. Barbie looked in her grand mirror.
- 0:16Speaker 1: She was wearing a magnificent sparkling pink dress. It was
- 0:20Speaker 1: covered in tiny silver crystals that shined like real stars.
- 0:25Speaker 1: She wore a delicate crystal crown on her head. She
- 0:29Speaker 1: looked absolutely perfect. I am ready, Barbie smiled. She walked
- 0:35Speaker 1: carefully out of the castle, walking down the stone path
- 0:39Speaker 1: toward the Grand Village Square, where the music was already playing.
- 0:43Speaker 1: But as she walked past the royal gardens, she heard
- 0:47Speaker 1: a soft sad sound. Someone was crying. Barbie stopped and listened.
- 0:53Speaker 1: She walked toward the rose bushes and found a little
- 0:56Speaker 1: girl in a simple brown dress. The little girl was
- 1:00Speaker 1: crying and pointing at a beautiful white kitten that was
- 1:03Speaker 1: stuck high up in a very thorny tree. Please help,
- 1:08Speaker 1: the little girl cried, My kitten is too scared to
- 1:11Speaker 1: come down. Barbie looked at the thorny tree. Then she
- 1:16Speaker 1: looked at her perfect, sparkling pink dress. She knew that
- 1:21Speaker 1: if she climbed that tree, her beautiful dress would get ruined,
- 1:25Speaker 1: she would not look perfect for the Grand Star Festival.
- 1:30Speaker 1: But Princess Barbi had a very kind heart. She knew
- 1:34Speaker 1: what a real princess had to do. Do not worry,
- 1:38Speaker 1: Barbie said warmly, I will bring your friend down. Barbie
- 1:43Speaker 1: reached up into the branches. The thorns pulled and scratched
- 1:47Speaker 1: at her beautiful dress. Ryep. A large piece of the
- 1:52Speaker 1: sparkling pink fabric tore near the bottom. The shiny silver
- 1:57Speaker 1: crystals fell into the dark mud. Barbie did not stop.
- 2:02Speaker 1: She reached higher and gently picked up the scared little kitten.
- 2:07Speaker 1: She held it safely against her chest and climbed down,
- 2:10Speaker 1: getting mud on her white shoes. She handed the purring
- 2:14Speaker 1: kitten back to the happy little girl. Thank you, Princess.
- 2:19Speaker 1: The little girl hugged Barbie tightly, leaving a dusty mark
- 2:23Speaker 1: on the pink dress. Barbie smiled, but as the little
- 2:28Speaker 1: girl ran home, Barbie looked down at herself. Her dress
- 2:32Speaker 1: was torn, her shoes were muddy, her perfect crystal crown
- 2:37Speaker 1: was crooked. A heavy sad feeling filled her chest. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: cannot go to the Star Festival looking like this, she thought,
- 2:46Speaker 1: everyone will laugh at me. I do not look like
- 2:50Speaker 1: a princess anymore. A tear rolled down Barbie's cheek. Just then,
- 2:56Speaker 1: the wise Queen walked into the garden. She looked at
- 2:59Speaker 1: the torn dress, the muddy shoes, and Barbie's sad face.
- 3:04Speaker 1: My beautiful daughter, the Queen said, softly, lifting Barbie's chin,
- 3:09Speaker 1: Why are you crying? Look at my dress? Barbie whispered,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I ruined it to save a little kitten. I cannot
- 3:19Speaker 1: go to the ball. I am not a beautiful princess tonight,
- 3:24Speaker 1: the Queen smiled a proud, warm smile. She placed her
- 3:28Speaker 1: hand over Barbie's heart. Barbie, the Queen said gently, A
- 3:34Speaker 1: beautiful dress can be bought in a store, but a beautiful,
- 3:38Speaker 1: brave and kind heart cannot be bought anywhere in the world. Tonight,
- 3:44Speaker 1: by helping that little girl, you showed everyone what true
- 3:47Speaker 1: royalty is. You have never looked more beautiful than you do.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Right now, Barbie wiped her tears. She understood she did
- 3:57Speaker 1: not need a perfect dress to be valued. Princess Barbi
- 4:02Speaker 1: walked into the Star Festival with her torn dress and
- 4:05Speaker 1: muddy shoes. She held her head high and smiled a bright,
- 4:10Speaker 1: confident smile. And when the people in the Kingdom heard
- 4:14Speaker 1: what she had done. They did not see a messy dress.
- 4:18Speaker 1: They saw the bravest, kindest and most beautiful princess in
- 4:22Speaker 1: the whole world.
