Speaker 3: The Seattle Kracket didn't let a slow start on Thursday
0:27
Speaker 3: derail their plans to victory in Game one of the
0:30
Speaker 3: Lane Lambert Erap. After getting out shot seventeen to five
0:34
Speaker 3: and going to the dressing room tied at one after one,
0:37
Speaker 3: the Kraken struck early in the second and third and
0:40
Speaker 3: limited Anaheim to just nineteen more shots on their way
0:44
Speaker 3: to a three to one win, the first under their
0:47
Speaker 3: brand new bench boss. Tonight, Seattle closes out their two
0:50
Speaker 3: game season opening homestand against the Vegas Golden Knights.
0:54
Speaker 4: Who have found their offensive touch early.
0:56
Speaker 1: And offen in this young season.
0:58
Speaker 3: Good evening, Ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back inside of

1:10
Speaker 3: Show served up by Frostbrow Course Light Choose chill out,
1:14
Speaker 3: not the start.
1:15
Speaker 1: Seattle would want.
1:16
Speaker 3: Every player in that locker room, Lane Lambert will tell
1:19
Speaker 3: you if not how they wanted to kick off the season.
1:22
Speaker 3: But they found their stride, they settled things down, got
1:25
Speaker 3: back to a disciplined style that Lane Lambert is trying
1:29
Speaker 3: to install here all their way to a three to
1:31
Speaker 3: one victory.
1:31
Speaker 5: Yeah.
1:32
Speaker 6: I agree. I think that getting that first goal was huge,
1:34
Speaker 6: but then things did drop off after that, and the
1:37
Speaker 6: discipline was a huge part, not just know in the
1:40
Speaker 6: first period, but over the course of the game, only
1:42
Speaker 6: giving Anaheim one power play opportunity.
1:45
Speaker 3: First season opening win in Cracking history. Vince Dunn scoring
1:49
Speaker 3: the Krakens first goal of the season now in consecutive years.
1:53
Speaker 3: Mason Marshman also scoring his first goal as a member
1:57
Speaker 3: of the Seattle Crack And I talked to We talked
1:58
Speaker 3: to Lane Lambert and he said that when everything's going right,
2:02
Speaker 3: the last two periods is what you're going to see
2:05
Speaker 3: more often than not out of this team.
2:07
Speaker 4: Yeah.
2:07
Speaker 6: Absolutely, And I think that's what you're trying to do
2:09
Speaker 6: is set yourself up for that second half of the game.
2:12
Speaker 6: You don't want to be digging yourself out of a
2:13
Speaker 6: hole in that last period. Although the crack and sure
2:16
Speaker 6: did a lot of it last season and they did it well,
2:18
Speaker 6: but ideally you don't put yourself in that position. And
2:20
Speaker 6: I think that's Lane Lambert structure. On the other side
2:23
Speaker 6: of the red line.
2:24
Speaker 3: This is a Vegas Golden Knights team that is one
2:26
Speaker 3: zero and one early on here in this season, as
2:30
Speaker 3: they have outscored their opponents nine to eight in those games.
2:34
Speaker 3: But it's been the play of Pablo Doorfeev, who leads
2:37
Speaker 3: the NHL in both goals and power play goals, Jack
2:41
Speaker 3: Michael leading the NHL early in points so far.
2:44
Speaker 4: This season that have led the way.
2:45
Speaker 6: Yeah, in the case of Dori fee have four goals
2:48
Speaker 6: so far in two games, and three of those have
2:50
Speaker 6: been on the power play. Certainly that'll play into tonight's
2:52
Speaker 6: game as far as the key goes a Jack Keel
2:54
Speaker 6: doing Jack Eichel things obviously a big part of that
2:57
Speaker 6: power play as well, but he's been shot out of
2:59
Speaker 6: the canon here in the first couple game one.
3:01
Speaker 3: Of four between these two expansion cousins cracking two three and.
3:05
Speaker 1: One in their last six overall.
3:08
Speaker 4: Against the Vegas Golden Knights.
3:09

6:31
Speaker 12: Glad you're with us. Back to the course light landing
6:33
Speaker 12: in section twenty here at Climbate Pledge Arena with a
6:36
Speaker 12: Kraken coming in with a one nzero record, this being
6:38
Speaker 12: game two of two on the home stand, Vegas is
6:42
Speaker 12: one zero and one, the Kraken trying to hand them
6:45
Speaker 12: their first regulation loss of the season. They are right
6:48
Speaker 12: now in the middle of a three game road trip,
6:50
Speaker 12: this being game two of that. As far as matters
6:53
Speaker 12: for this save me and the Kraken aiming for their
6:55
Speaker 12: first two to oh start in franchise history, and it
6:59
Speaker 12: could be a tough challehead important because also the next
7:02
Speaker 12: six games are on the road, and you talk about
7:05
Speaker 12: a gauntlin facing this team beginning this next week with
7:08
Speaker 12: six games in ten days. First off, it begins with Montreal,
7:12
Speaker 12: then Ottawa, then Toronto, then Philadelphia, Washington in the mix
7:16
Speaker 12: and Winnipeg as well. All but one team on that
7:20
Speaker 12: road trip made the Stanley Cup Playoffs, So for the Kraken,
7:23
Speaker 12: they could really use some solid footing after they get
7:26
Speaker 12: done with this game and this next road trip as well,
7:29
Speaker 12: and they're gonna face a Vegas team also through four
7:32
Speaker 12: years as pretty much add their number. The Crack at
7:35
Speaker 12: Emmy for just their fourth win in sixteen games head
7:39
Speaker 12: to head dating back to twenty twenty one twenty two.
7:42
Speaker 12: Last season, Vegas taking two of three the Crack and
7:45
Speaker 12: winning the only matchup here in Seattle that was a
7:48
Speaker 12: four to three win back in the eighth of November,
7:51
Speaker 12: and coming in here these two teams will get to
7:53
Speaker 12: know each other quite a bit. First of four matchups
7:56
Speaker 12: ahead the Krack and have two here in Seattle, Vegas
7:59
Speaker 12: has two back at Team Mobile Arena, and seven of
8:01
Speaker 12: the last nine meetings, by the way, the Cracket have
8:04
Speaker 12: been held to three goals or less head ahead against Vegas,
8:06
Speaker 12: so they're looking for ways they can generate offense against
8:10
Speaker 12: a team that has been very, very tough, not just
8:12
Speaker 12: also physically but also stature wise, one of the heavier
8:15
Speaker 12: teams in the NHL Year by year, two nights ago.
8:19
Speaker 12: Back here on opening night the Krack and holding a
8:22
Speaker 12: tight lead against the Anaheim Ducks and looking for a
8:24
Speaker 12: way right here to break on through even more Seattle
8:29
Speaker 12: once again, what's.
8:31
Speaker 13: On the pressure in front? Yes, Sharon mccab the insurance goal,
8:43
Speaker 13: More Seattle. HiT's a three to one cracket lead, fifteen
8:48
Speaker 13: thirty five left in.
8:50
Speaker 6: The third well, a fantastic zone entry by Seattle is
8:53
Speaker 6: they got that puck cross ice. Everybody dumps it into
8:56
Speaker 6: the far corner, but heres gets to win first. Just
8:59
Speaker 6: a chalk of puck up to the further event mcken
9:02
Speaker 6: gets that chuck close, tough shelf plucker side three one Cracking.
9:07
Speaker 12: And that goal leaving Jared mckinn now within one point
9:10
Speaker 12: of reaching four hundred in his NHL career, and that
9:14
Speaker 12: goal also effectively putting the game out of reach. And
9:17
Speaker 12: what was a three to one win over the Anaheim
9:19
Speaker 12: Ducks to cap off the first win on opening night
9:23
Speaker 12: in Cracking history, and they hope that win can certainly
9:26
Speaker 12: be a tone setter. Vince Dunn scored the first goal
9:29
Speaker 12: of the contest and the young season in period one,
9:32
Speaker 12: Mason Marshman breaking a one to one tie in the
9:35
Speaker 12: second and then McCann's goal that you just heard helping
9:38
Speaker 12: put matters away. But Joey to Core was far and
9:40
Speaker 12: away the rock star of that evening, thirty five saves
9:43
Speaker 12: on thirty six shots.
9:44
Speaker 1: His busy at frame period.
9:46
Speaker 12: One of the Ducks had a ton of pressure and
9:48
Speaker 12: puck possession as well, the Core turning in sixteen saves
9:52
Speaker 12: on seventeen shots to keep the game tied at one,
9:54
Speaker 12: but also helping him cracking discipline. They only took one
9:58
Speaker 12: penalty and the penalty killed, helping kill matters off. Matter
10:01
Speaker 12: of fact, Ryan Lindgren set up on a breakaway from
10:04
Speaker 12: Jamie Alexiak, who bursted right out of the box. Lindgren
10:07
Speaker 12: was stopped by the Kraken, helping with that penalty kill
10:10
Speaker 12: turn the tide for the game from that point on.
10:14
Speaker 12: In between then and now, did we have a historical
10:18
Speaker 12: night in the city of Seattle. It was in the
10:20
Speaker 12: baseball side last evening for Game five with the American
10:23
Speaker 12: League Championship Series Mariners and Detroit Tigers. Several Kraken were
10:28
Speaker 12: at the game, including Ty Carcier, Joey Decord, Ryan Lindgren,
10:32
Speaker 12: Jared McCann and Moore. In case you're living under a rock, Well,
10:36
Speaker 12: the Mariners won in fifteen innings, three to two over
10:40
Speaker 12: the Tigers, includes in their first trip to the Alcs
10:44
Speaker 12: in twenty four years, in the game that many will
10:46
Speaker 12: be talking about forever and ever after that, it was
10:50
Speaker 12: time to pop bottles for a champagne celebration in the
10:52
Speaker 12: Mariners clubhouse with Josh Naylor donning a krack in third jersey.
10:57
Speaker 12: And here's Naylor on the significance where in that jersey
11:01
Speaker 12: all across wall to wall with champagne spray it all
11:04
Speaker 12: over the place.
11:05
Speaker 14: Yeah, it's awesome, and we shout out to them for
11:07
Speaker 14: coming to the game too, supporting us.
11:09
Speaker 15: It was.
11:10
Speaker 1: It was so great to see them in the crowd.
11:11
Speaker 14: And uh, you know it's cool when teams, you know,
11:14
Speaker 14: represent other teams in their own city.
11:17
Speaker 1: No secret.
11:17
Speaker 12: Josh Naylor is a hockey fan, matter of fact, it
11:20
Speaker 12: was part of his youth growing up as well. So
11:22
Speaker 12: for the kracking, well deserved recognition, and Ryan Lindgren returned
11:26
Speaker 12: the favor about the Mariners earlier this morning.
11:29
Speaker 5: You can see, you know, other teams root for us,
11:31
Speaker 5: and we root for the other teams and you know,
11:34
Speaker 5: same goes for the fans, So yeah, it's really cool
11:37
Speaker 5: for him to say. And you know, we know that
11:40
Speaker 5: they support us too, and I think that that makes
11:43
Speaker 5: it exciting for the whole city and you know, definitely
11:46
Speaker 5: the guys playing.
11:46
Speaker 15: The games too.
11:47
Speaker 12: It's what makes this sports town so special because emotions
11:51
Speaker 12: tend to intersect when you consider the Kraken, the Mariners,
11:54
Speaker 12: the Seahawks, the Huskies, the Sounders, the Storm, the rain,
11:57
Speaker 12: et cetera, et cetera. So for the Crack, we're trying
12:00
Speaker 12: to keep the good vibes going here for this game
12:03
Speaker 12: tonight against the Golden Knights. Our cracking story lines first up,
12:06
Speaker 12: beginning with physical play. Thursday, they had the hit category
12:09
Speaker 12: lead over Anaheim, laying in forty eight hits. Yep, you
12:13
Speaker 12: heard that correct, forty eight hits. A matter of fact,
12:16
Speaker 12: block shots wasn't even close, cracking twenty six ducks was seven.
12:20
Speaker 12: So the question bears, can the Kraken clog the middle
12:23
Speaker 12: of the ice and win physical battles against a very
12:26
Speaker 12: rugged and heavy Vegas team And that could put a
12:28
Speaker 12: lot of attention maybe on guys that could log a
12:31
Speaker 12: ton of ice time in the back end like Ryan Lindgren,
12:34
Speaker 12: Adam Larson and others. And here's lin Gren on how
12:37
Speaker 12: the Cracking can answer the call physically for this game.
12:41
Speaker 5: No, they got a good plan to you know, high
12:43
Speaker 5: skilled guys and you know guys that are that are
12:46
Speaker 5: physical and you know, getting on the foe check. So yeah,
12:50
Speaker 5: it's gonna be a tough game, a good test for
12:51
Speaker 5: us tonight, and yeah, we're all excited for it through
12:54
Speaker 5: obviously an Akaba hockey team and should be a good challenge.
12:58
Speaker 12: Our second storyline focus this is on a former Golden Knight,
13:01
Speaker 12: Chandler Stevenson.
13:02
Speaker 1: In his line.
13:03
Speaker 12: He's facing his former Vegas team as well, but was
13:06
Speaker 12: spectacular in the faceoff circle, winning thirteen of twenty faceoffs,
13:10
Speaker 12: best on the Crack and Thursday his linemates me some
13:14
Speaker 12: Marchman scoring in his Cracking debut and his big frame.
13:17
Speaker 12: You could think Taylor made for these kind of games
13:19
Speaker 12: against Vegas and Ryan Winterton making the Big Club here
13:22
Speaker 12: for the first time for opening Night in his career.
13:25
Speaker 12: Didn't score on Thursday, but had five hits as well
13:28
Speaker 12: and one takeaway, so he brings a physical ledge the
13:31
Speaker 12: Kraken can certainly use against Vegas.
13:33
Speaker 1: Our final storyline.
13:34
Speaker 12: Joey Decord gets his second start of the season all
13:37
Speaker 12: time against Vegas two and two, but with a terrific
13:40
Speaker 12: nine two six save for sent Engine. He's looking to
13:42
Speaker 12: build on the opening night win on Thursday. The injury
13:46
Speaker 12: update Capocaco out six weeks broken hand ailment, Riker Evans
13:50
Speaker 12: out six to eight weeks upper body as well.
13:53
Speaker 1: Both are on injury reserve.
13:55
Speaker 12: We'll come back in a bit and take a look
13:56

16:22
Speaker 12: Benton with you back by the Corps Light landing in
16:24
Speaker 12: section twenty. Here at Climbing Pledgerina, let's talk Golden Knights
16:28
Speaker 12: ninth NHL season.
16:29
Speaker 1: Can you believe it?
16:30
Speaker 12: And they have one Stanley Cup, two trips of the
16:33
Speaker 12: Cup Final and only miss the playoffs one time, So
16:36
Speaker 12: giving credit that's how you spell success, coming right out
16:38
Speaker 12: of the box. Now in their fourth year with head
16:41
Speaker 12: coach Bruce Cassidy a part of their brand firepower up
16:45
Speaker 12: and down their lineup.
16:46
Speaker 1: It can be frightening Mitch Marner.
16:47
Speaker 12: They got him July first trade from Toronto, Jack Eichel
16:51
Speaker 12: setting a massive eight year extension ninety four point campaign
16:54
Speaker 12: as well last year. Padl doro Feev beginning this season
16:57
Speaker 12: red hot four goals in two games. He had a
17:00
Speaker 12: career high thirty five as well this last season. Toomas Hurtle,
17:04
Speaker 12: he is their third line center. He had thirty two
17:06
Speaker 12: goals and Mark Stone no surprise about a point per
17:10
Speaker 12: game as well last year for Vegas. But defense can
17:13
Speaker 12: be their big question mark. They have no Alex Patraangolo
17:16
Speaker 12: here for the entire season, out with a hip injury,
17:18
Speaker 12: and Noahanna Finn reportedly did not make the trip injured
17:22
Speaker 12: in their season opening shootout loss to Los Angeles. Plus
17:26
Speaker 12: they lost Nick Keg and replacing him with an old
17:29
Speaker 12: friend here of the Kraken defenseman Jeremy Lozon, who is
17:32
Speaker 12: now on their blue line. Vegas last game won in
17:36
Speaker 12: San Jose four to three in overtime, in a game
17:38
Speaker 12: that Alex Nadelkovich would love to forget. For San Jose,
17:42
Speaker 12: two massive mistake coals cost him as Vegas got their
17:45
Speaker 12: offense from Brett Howden, Dori Fayev, Jack Eichel who tied it,
17:49
Speaker 12: and then Riley spitting an OT winner with Nadolkovich.
17:52
Speaker 1: Missplaying the puck in that game.
17:54
Speaker 12: So after this evening for Vegas, ron Nick Calgary for
17:58
Speaker 12: game three of three on the trip their back home
18:00
Speaker 12: five days from now against Boston to open a three
18:03
Speaker 12: game homestand your Vegas story lines first up, begin with
18:07
Speaker 12: stopping Jack Eigel. He's got size deaf playmaking, touch and production,
18:12
Speaker 12: and against the krack In he has given them fits
18:15
Speaker 12: fifteen points in eleven games and so far hottest player
18:18
Speaker 12: here to start this season in the NHL with six
18:20
Speaker 12: points in his first two games. Second storyline stopping Mitch Marner.
18:25
Speaker 12: That's been a tough ask for virtually every game against
18:29
Speaker 12: the Kraken. Of course, Vegas got him from the Bit
18:32
Speaker 12: and the Big Fish Bend this last summer during the
18:35
Speaker 12: free agency in Hanstole period.
18:37
Speaker 1: He has started out as Ekl's.
18:38
Speaker 12: Linemate and through two games two assists, but against the
18:41
Speaker 12: Kraken fifteen points in eight games lifetime, he is going
18:45
Speaker 12: to be a tough assignment here to keep a hold
18:47
Speaker 12: of bets. They're more from Vegas and Shay Theodore, a
18:50
Speaker 12: one time Seattle Thunderbirds, shared more on what he wants
18:54
Speaker 12: clean up defensively coming off the game against San Jose.
18:57
Speaker 19: I think overall, just taking taking six to the net.
19:00
Speaker 19: You know, there's a couple of goals that we'd like back,
19:02
Speaker 19: you know, from last game.
19:03
Speaker 1: But you know, I think that's.
19:04
Speaker 19: Something that we're trying to, you know, clean up. Obviously,
19:07
Speaker 19: it's early in the season, so you know, watching a
19:09
Speaker 19: lot of video on it. But just I think, you know,
19:11
Speaker 19: time six up around the net should be a.
19:13
Speaker 12: Good starting for Theodore, he said coming back here also
19:16
Speaker 12: never get sold previously again playing for the Seattle Thunderbirds
19:20
Speaker 12: not too far away from here at Eccesso show, Weares Center,
19:23
Speaker 12: welcome back after this and go back upstairs, Everett and
19:26
Speaker 12: now they got your three keys after this and you're

21:45
Speaker 3: opening homestand before they hit the road for twelve days
21:49
Speaker 3: and six games out east with a brief little stop
21:53
Speaker 3: in ball me Winnipeg, Manitoba. So before coming back home
21:57
Speaker 3: to begin a very tough stretch end of Jay, end
22:00
Speaker 3: of October into November. This your pregame show served up
22:03
Speaker 3: by Frostbrow, Course, Light, Juice, Jill on the Global Credit
22:06
Speaker 3: Union and Crack at Audio Network. Aw three to one
22:08
Speaker 3: win for Seattle over Anaheim two nights ago. Trying to
22:12
Speaker 3: remain perfect against a pretty offensively gifted team early on
22:17
Speaker 3: here in the Vegas Golden Knights, I have an idea
22:20
Speaker 3: of what a couple of your keys.
22:21
Speaker 1: May be, but I'm not gonna spoil it.
22:24
Speaker 3: How can the Kraken get two points on the board
22:27
Speaker 3: heading out east tonight?
22:28
Speaker 6: Well it was pretty easier right then, because I just
22:29
Speaker 6: had to look at the first game and say what
22:31
Speaker 6: went well from that game, Rinse and repeat. Let's start
22:34
Speaker 6: with activating the demon and transition. Vegas's defensive structure will
22:38
Speaker 6: crack if you apply this kind of pressure. That pressure
22:40
Speaker 6: comes from cracking d men, jumping into rushes, and driving
22:44
Speaker 6: the play in the puck towards the Vegas net. This
22:46
Speaker 6: one to two punch from the blue line will keep
22:48
Speaker 6: Vegas on their heels. Secondly, clamp down on special teams.
22:53
Speaker 6: The Vegas power play looks strong. After two games. They
22:56
Speaker 6: went three for ten in those two games where if
22:58
Speaker 6: my mouth is correct thirty percent like the win against Anaheim,
23:02
Speaker 6: Seattle will need to be disciplined to limit the number
23:04
Speaker 6: of odd man chances Vegas gets, and then third demand
23:08
Speaker 6: a strong goal to performance. Joey to Cour played well
23:11
Speaker 6: in Game one. He'll be relied on once at once
23:14
Speaker 6: again to make some big saves. But I think I
23:16
Speaker 6: think he might see a few more Grade eight chances
23:18
Speaker 6: tonight where he'll need to come up with key saves
23:21
Speaker 6: at key moments. If Seattle can limit those high danger chances,
23:25
Speaker 6: maintain gap control and four shots to the outside, they'll
23:28
Speaker 6: limit the offensive threat Vegas can bring. It'll be two
23:32
Speaker 6: weeks before these fans can come see some crack and
23:34
Speaker 6: hockey here at CPA. If the Kraken can activate their
23:37
Speaker 6: demon and transitions, limit power play opportunities for Vegas, and
23:41
Speaker 6: get a top performance from their netminder Joey to Cord,
23:45
Speaker 6: the Kraken will do what they've never done before in
23:47
Speaker 6: franchise history and start the season two and zero.
23:50
Speaker 3: And the Kraken have had some success against Vegas in
23:53
Speaker 3: recent meetings, two three and one in their last six,
23:57
Speaker 3: averaging two point five goals against our goals four per
23:59
Speaker 3: game and going twenty one and a half percent on
24:02
Speaker 3: the power play compared to one to eight and zero
24:04
Speaker 3: in the first nine meetings, allowing forty three goals in
24:08
Speaker 3: that time. So for the Seattle Crack, if you're right,
24:11
Speaker 3: a lot of what they want to do here tonight
24:14
Speaker 3: to beat Vegas is gonna have to be centered around discipline,
24:18
Speaker 3: around that structured game. But I mean, you can't stop
24:22
Speaker 3: Jack Eichel and apparently Pablodor.
24:23
Speaker 1: Fiam as well.
24:24
Speaker 6: You can only hope to maybe slow them down.
24:27
Speaker 1: Some kid named Marner that.
24:29
Speaker 3: Was their big offseason acquisition for a Vegas Golden Knights
24:33
Speaker 3: team that now going into year nine, have only missed
24:36
Speaker 3: the playoffs once. They've been to the Cup final twice.
24:39
Speaker 3: They've won a Cup as well. And this is a
24:42
Speaker 3: Vegas team that shows no signs of slowing down.
24:45
Speaker 6: Oh absolutely, And I think that you know the names
24:47
Speaker 6: you mentioned, if you round out, that's most of their
24:50
Speaker 6: top two lines. If you can match their top two
24:52
Speaker 6: lines like for like, you're not giving them anything. You know,
24:56
Speaker 6: you know, you end up basically evening out the end
24:59
Speaker 6: of the game. Didn't to become lines three and four.
25:01
Speaker 6: It's gonna become what I mentioned there, and he's the
25:03
Speaker 6: defense been getting it done. Can Dune jump into the play.
25:06
Speaker 6: Can Montour jump into play and have a positive effect
25:09
Speaker 6: effect offensively without hurting the team defensively.
25:12
Speaker 4: Last one here for you, partner.
25:13
Speaker 3: The Kracken had some good performances from newcomers in that
25:16
Speaker 3: opening game. Mason Marshmith scored his first goal as a
25:19
Speaker 3: member of the crack and Ryan Lindgren was in the
25:22
Speaker 3: mix as well. Ryan Winterton had some good flashes also.
25:25
Speaker 3: A lot of those off season acquisitions or in the
25:29
Speaker 3: case of a Ryan Winterton, young guys making their first
25:32
Speaker 3: season opening roster helped lead the crackt in that.
25:35
Speaker 4: Win as well.
25:36
Speaker 6: Yeah, and I think a guy like Winterton, he's thinking
25:38
Speaker 6: that he's gonna be that power winner. He's gonna have
25:40
Speaker 6: to have that mindset. I don't care where in this
25:42
Speaker 6: lineup structure you are. If he's playing every shift where
25:45
Speaker 6: I'm gonna finish every check, I'm gonna win my board battles,
25:48
Speaker 6: I'm gonna go hard to the net, and the offensive
25:50
Speaker 6: of good things will happen and coaches will notice that
25:52
Speaker 6: he's gonna keep that up. And I agree with the
25:54
Speaker 6: other two as well, the one I want to put
25:56
Speaker 6: up from last game is Josh Bahur Oh. Yes, I
25:58
Speaker 6: thought he had a fantastic game. He's gonna bring that
26:00
Speaker 6: again here tonight. Very physical game. Not that he's normally
26:04
Speaker 6: not physical. I just think he'd amped it up a
26:05
Speaker 6: little bit. Bananahan game.
26:07
Speaker 3: You know who else brings it every night or does
26:09
Speaker 3: it very physical, doesn't really care where in the lineup
26:12
Speaker 3: be played. Mike Mike Betton down at the cores Light
26:15
Speaker 3: landing section twenty finally dried out from last night.
26:18
Speaker 1: He was in the locker.

Speaker 12: more with head coach Lane Lambert standing mind whatever it
28:51
Speaker 12: fits you.
28:53
Speaker 24: We're back with Cracken Head coach Lane Lambert. Congratulations on
28:56
Speaker 24: your first win as head coach of the Kracking Just
28:59
Speaker 24: take us through that sixty minute performance you mentioned after
29:02
Speaker 24: the game the team got better, You liked it as.
29:04
Speaker 4: It went on.
29:05
Speaker 24: What are your overall thoughts on that performance the other night.
29:08
Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I thought, again, we had.
29:11
Speaker 24: A slow start.
29:13
Speaker 25: You know, for whatever reason, can maybe pinpoint two or
29:17
Speaker 25: three things whatever, but we just weren't executing. And so
29:21
Speaker 25: our goaltender played very well for us when he had
29:24
Speaker 25: to early on, and I thought as the game went on,
29:27
Speaker 25: we settled in a little bit better. We were more
29:30
Speaker 25: sound defensively, we were making some plays, and you know,
29:33
Speaker 25: the last half of the game, I thought we I
29:35
Speaker 25: thought we took over the game in the last half
29:37
Speaker 25: and that was a nice sign, good, good thing to see.
29:40
Speaker 25: And the other thing that I enjoyed about the game
29:43
Speaker 25: was that when we did get the lead, you know,
29:44
Speaker 25: we didn't sit back. We kept on our toes and
29:46
Speaker 25: we kept pressing forward. So we had some pretty good
29:49
Speaker 25: opportunities to make it four and five one.
29:51
Speaker 24: In those situations going into the second period, those intermission adjustments.
29:56
Speaker 18: Is this.
29:58
Speaker 24: A coach to playerversation? Do you let the guys kind
30:01
Speaker 24: of figure it out? How do you manage those situations
30:05
Speaker 24: when you're down a goal, down a couple of goals,
30:07
Speaker 24: you didn't play your best period. How do you manage
30:10
Speaker 24: that message from one period to the next.
30:13
Speaker 25: Well, I mean, if you're talking about in between the
30:15
Speaker 25: first and second period. It was just clear we just
30:17
Speaker 25: weren't you know. It wasn't anything to do with you know,
30:21
Speaker 25: systematical stuff. It was execution which created opportunities for them.
30:25
Speaker 25: I think they did a pretty good job of talking
30:27
Speaker 25: amongst themselves. Obviously I tried to calm them down, which,
30:32
Speaker 25: you know, which I thought I felt was important. There
30:35
Speaker 25: was no point in going in there and you know,
30:38
Speaker 25: giving them more stress, you know. But then from there
30:42
Speaker 25: I thought we made some pretty decent adjustments.
30:45
Speaker 12: After that's Lane Lambert and we'll come back in a
30:48
Speaker 12: bit with your lineups. And you're listening to the Global
