- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Hello, Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Shove. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: Rob Shooter. Every Thursday, we're joined by a handsome friend,
- 0:21Speaker 1: marky Looper. Look at you giggling the way? Hey Mark,
- 0:23Speaker 1: how are you darling better now that we're together? Oh
- 0:27Speaker 1: it's a creepy but I do love it Mark all
- 0:30Speaker 1: the time. Big hair today, Mark again, I'm liking it.
- 0:34Speaker 1: You look like you've got a little bit of a haircut.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It's shaved at the side. Yeah, I gotta cut last night? Nice?
- 0:40Speaker 1: Is it because you're going on a date? We ask
- 0:42Speaker 1: you this every week. I'm still waiting. Yeah, it's going on.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's like we Punzel in that castle of yours. You've
- 0:49Speaker 1: got to grow your hair so somebody can crawl up
- 0:52Speaker 1: it into the tower. What's happening? It's the pandemic man
- 0:57Speaker 1: who wants to make out during the pandemic. I don't
- 1:00Speaker 1: want to do I barely want to touch my cart
- 1:03Speaker 1: in the supermarket, let alone kiss somebody. And it's terrible. Although,
- 1:07Speaker 1: fingers cross, the vaccines do seem to be coming, So
- 1:10Speaker 1: fingers cross, let's get to some gossip. What we're good
- 1:12Speaker 1: at around here? What time is it? My friend? It
- 1:15Speaker 1: is Ariana Grande could perform with the Weekend at the
- 1:20Speaker 1: Super Bowler. So fans are going nuts that Arianna Grande
- 1:24Speaker 1: could be joining the Weekend to perform at the halftime show,
- 1:28Speaker 1: which I believe is next week. I know nothing about football,
- 1:31Speaker 1: but I do have a good halftime show. So the
- 1:34Speaker 1: ramblings of this possible collaboration started on social media, where
- 1:38Speaker 1: everything starts. After the Weekend a nance that he's dropping
- 1:42Speaker 1: an album before the big game. The album includes a
- 1:46Speaker 1: song that he did with Arianna Grandi called Love Me Harder.
- 1:50Speaker 1: People on Twitter are going nuts at the thought of
- 1:52Speaker 1: the possibility. One person roads, what no way, I'm so excited.
- 1:57Speaker 1: This cannot be a joke. Another some road, this is
- 2:00Speaker 1: very smart. They have to give it together. She sings
- 2:03Speaker 1: the hook and there's no way he can perform the
- 2:06Speaker 1: song without the hook. So last November, Pepsi announced The
- 2:10Speaker 1: Weekend would be headlining the halftime show and that game
- 2:15Speaker 1: takes place on February seventh. For should I say, Mark,
- 2:18Speaker 1: The concert takes place on February seven. Do you like
- 2:22Speaker 1: these two together? Mark? Rob? You know I'm a big
- 2:25Speaker 1: Weekend fair to see him in Madison's for a garden
- 2:28Speaker 1: a few years. It's it's a great concept, but I
- 2:30Speaker 1: have to say he makes stoner music, you know, like
- 2:32Speaker 1: everyone is baked out. So I'm thinking with Arianna joining him,
- 2:36Speaker 1: shall bring the young girls'll bring the gaze, Sh'll bring
- 2:39Speaker 1: the pop. So I think there's a little bit of
- 2:40Speaker 1: everything for everyone at the at the show, because I
- 2:43Speaker 1: don't see him just doing this by himself. Yeah, he
- 2:46Speaker 1: does about twelve thirteen minutes. It is such a production.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've been at a few of these. I know it's
- 2:50Speaker 1: not crazy. It's such a waste of a ticket if
- 2:52Speaker 1: you're a football fan. Let me apologize right now. I
- 2:54Speaker 1: shouldn't have been there, and I might have not even
- 2:57Speaker 1: seen the second half of the game. I know I
- 3:00Speaker 1: left after the show. I know I saw Madonna terrible.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I like the concert, I can watching my TV, and
- 3:07Speaker 1: I like the commercials. I'd rather watch it on TV
- 3:09Speaker 1: than actually see in the stadium. I know, I'm not
- 3:13Speaker 1: sure about the weekend. I do like some of his songs,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and I all that seventies stuff he's doing. At the
- 3:17Speaker 1: moment when he changed his face or pretended to change
- 3:21Speaker 1: his face, that got on my nerves a little bit.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I'm a big fan of Ariana grand days, though, I
- 3:25Speaker 1: think I think the problem for him might be she
- 3:28Speaker 1: might be better. You never have Mark. This is a
- 3:32Speaker 1: lesson for you. You never have somebody on your show
- 3:35Speaker 1: who is better than you, because then it becomes their show.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Like Ariana Grandy would not be welcome on this podcast.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I'm not saying you're less than her, Mark, but do
- 3:45Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like, should you be concerned
- 3:47Speaker 1: about that in life? For you? Well, listen, I mean
- 3:50Speaker 1: I totally agree. I come here, I come on the
- 3:52Speaker 1: show knowing that you were the star. I take the
- 3:54Speaker 1: second spot, and you know we brought her okay with that,
- 3:57Speaker 1: So I think the weekend has to be and we're
- 3:59Speaker 1: looking for whoever he brings on my upshadow him. I know,
- 4:03Speaker 1: is it wild to think about that? In life? Do
- 4:06Speaker 1: you sit around yourself? And actually, as silly as I
- 4:08Speaker 1: am about this, I love excellence and Mark, you are excellent.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I like having really really smart, good people around me.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I always have. When I was little at school, all
- 4:18Speaker 1: my friends with the smarty pants. My sister Christine, oh,
- 4:20Speaker 1: she hung out with terrible people so she felt smarter. Well,
- 4:24Speaker 1: Christine had to be the pretty girl in her group.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I'm quite happy. This sounds nuts, I know, because I
- 4:29Speaker 1: talk so much, but I'm quite happy being the second banana.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You don't believe me, do you? Mark? I'm having a
- 4:36Speaker 1: hard time imagining. There have you ever we've been at
- 4:39Speaker 1: together where I've I've hid in the corner? Mark, noever never.
- 4:44Speaker 1: You know, it's funny because you can be really really
- 4:46Speaker 1: like outgoing and in fine and wild, and then you
- 4:49Speaker 1: have moments where you're shy and you're not so much
- 4:51Speaker 1: because you also are focused your your reporter, You're looking,
- 4:54Speaker 1: You're you're taking notes, You're you're you know, you're watching.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So you always have a second thing going on. I know,
- 5:00Speaker 1: to be given by secrets away look at you. I've
- 5:02Speaker 1: always nosed around the room. Sometimes it comes across like
- 5:05Speaker 1: I'm not that interested in conversation because I'm always nosing around.
- 5:09Speaker 1: My eyes are always not looking for who's better. That's
- 5:12Speaker 1: not the truth, because friends doing that. It's awful. But
- 5:14Speaker 1: I do love a good story. And if I see
- 5:17Speaker 1: something that could potentially be a celebrity story, oh I
- 5:20Speaker 1: dropped you in a minute like a hot potato and
- 5:22Speaker 1: run across the bar. I mean, it's terrible, isn't it? Okay? Mark. Oh,
- 5:26Speaker 1: this brings us nearly forgot. This brings us to our
- 5:28Speaker 1: pole question of the day, who would you rather see
- 5:32Speaker 1: at the super Bowl? You've got to pick one the
- 5:34Speaker 1: Weekend or Arianna grand Dates. A cheeky question, but I'm
- 5:39Speaker 1: dying to know if you could pick one, if you
- 5:41Speaker 1: were the booker of the super Bowl halftime show, who
- 5:44Speaker 1: would you pick? Go vote on at a page at
- 5:47Speaker 1: Naughty and Ice. Rob facebook page is Naughty Gossip and
- 5:51Speaker 1: to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Loopy, what
- 5:55Speaker 1: are you working on? Let's take a left turn here
- 5:58Speaker 1: to Kelly Clarkson's ongoing divorce drama. So the drama between
- 6:03Speaker 1: Kelly Clarkson and her estranged husband, Brandon black Stock is
- 6:08Speaker 1: just getting started, So Robin new legal documents. Black Stock
- 6:12Speaker 1: has responded to the talk show hosts previous legal docs
- 6:15Speaker 1: where she claimed his talent agency defrauded her of millions
- 6:19Speaker 1: of dollars. Now, Rob, the agency, which is run by
- 6:23Speaker 1: Brandon's father, had denied these allegations, in which Clarkson claimed
- 6:27Speaker 1: they were violating California labor Code in charged exorbitant commission fees. Rob,
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm kind of surprised that this is all going down
- 6:35Speaker 1: because Kelly Clarkson is such a lovely, bubbly personality, and
- 6:39Speaker 1: you know, up until now, we thought this couple was
- 6:42Speaker 1: going to be, you know, forever and ever. To see
- 6:45Speaker 1: this kind of spill out, what do you are you
- 6:47Speaker 1: surprised to hear? This? Absolutely shocked all that. I'm not
- 6:50Speaker 1: shocked that sometimes the shading us happens even with people
- 6:54Speaker 1: you love. We've worked in this business, Landmark a very
- 6:57Speaker 1: long time. When you meet people's managers, even if it's
- 7:00Speaker 1: their husband, it doesn't always mean it's kosher. In fact,
- 7:04Speaker 1: some of the most shady business relationships I've seen in
- 7:08Speaker 1: show business have come from a partner. I know, it's wild,
- 7:12Speaker 1: isn't it. When I worked with Jessica Simpson, Joe Simpson
- 7:15Speaker 1: was not a good manager her dad, but you were
- 7:18Speaker 1: not going to win. It was her dad, so she's
- 7:19Speaker 1: fired him now. But there was a time when Joe
- 7:23Speaker 1: had literally an iron luck on Jessica. You couldn't get
- 7:26Speaker 1: to her unless you went through him. What about you, Mark,
- 7:29Speaker 1: You've you've met a lot of celebrities, You've you've interacted
- 7:31Speaker 1: with their publicists, their managers. This isn't that uncommon? Unfortunately, Yeah,
- 7:36Speaker 1: it's hard to kind of see this happen. But I
- 7:38Speaker 1: actually interviewed Matthew Knowles not too long ago and seemed
- 7:41Speaker 1: kind of Beyonce. Everybody Beyonce. Beyonce his father, he was
- 7:44Speaker 1: he was really big involved in Destiny's Chility. He was
- 7:47Speaker 1: their manager and he also managed Beyonce's career, and then
- 7:50Speaker 1: at some point Beyonce separated from him, and it was
- 7:53Speaker 1: a pretty big story. And well, I think he has
- 7:55Speaker 1: a hard time acknowledging that that he got fired. That's
- 7:58Speaker 1: the that's the truth. You know, new things do happen.
- 8:02Speaker 1: So going back to Kelly's story, So Kelly's father and
- 8:04Speaker 1: his and his agency, they're arguing that they're not subject
- 8:08Speaker 1: to regulation under the Talent Agency's Act because they did
- 8:11Speaker 1: not perform their duties in California, and they deny that
- 8:15Speaker 1: Kelly is entitled to any relief whatsoever. But Rob Kelly
- 8:19Speaker 1: is even clapping back to this. She released a statement
- 8:22Speaker 1: via her attorney into e t She said, we stand
- 8:25Speaker 1: by our allegations and we look forward to trying the
- 8:28Speaker 1: case before the Labor Commissioner in August. So this seems
- 8:32Speaker 1: like it's a it's gonna be a long time before
- 8:34Speaker 1: it gets resolved. I think you're right, and it seems
- 8:36Speaker 1: to be like a technicality, were you licensed to be
- 8:38Speaker 1: my agent in California or not? But it's it's bigger
- 8:42Speaker 1: than that. This is this is getting nasty. These families. Oh,
- 8:45Speaker 1: it's going to get awful and they shared children. Hey,
- 8:48Speaker 1: we wish you the best on this one. But the laws,
- 8:50Speaker 1: the law. The law is the law. Moving a long
- 8:54Speaker 1: jelly for talent from and SINC recalls being put in
- 8:57Speaker 1: the friend zone by Pink, so we wouldn't dated Pink,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and he said he was cool actually with being put
- 9:03Speaker 1: in the friend zone by her. There's nothing wrong with that.
- 9:06Speaker 1: He went on to say, I'm actually okay with rejection.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I mean I was in end Sink and got rejected
- 9:11Speaker 1: a lot out. I mean that isn't exactly true. End
- 9:15Speaker 1: Sinks made hundreds of millions of dollars. If that's rejection,
- 9:19Speaker 1: give some to me. I'll be the guy in the
- 9:21Speaker 1: sink in the background that can't dance for all that money.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I don't need to be just in okay. He went
- 9:26Speaker 1: on to say that he asked her out a few
- 9:28Speaker 1: times and it did go out, but he just guesses
- 9:31Speaker 1: that he's not her type, they're still friends. Mark, Have
- 9:34Speaker 1: you ever been put in the friends zone by somebody
- 9:37Speaker 1: you had little cushion? Yeah, I've definitely been put in
- 9:40Speaker 1: the friend zone, and I've definitely put guys the friend
- 9:43Speaker 1: zone and it's never fun. But sometimes you just have
- 9:46Speaker 1: to do that because what else you're gonna do? You know,
- 9:49Speaker 1: you have to be honest, and it just gets awkward.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Are you good at putting somebody in a friend zone?
- 9:54Speaker 1: And so if somebody was a little too kissy, touchy
- 9:57Speaker 1: feely with you and clearly thought you were just delicious,
- 10:01Speaker 1: how would you calm them down? I did it recently.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I always default to like, oh, you know, I'm just
- 10:06Speaker 1: not in the very place to the date, or I'm
- 10:08Speaker 1: just I'm just not feeling great right now, and it
- 10:11Speaker 1: just kind of ends it. It's it's a very final
- 10:14Speaker 1: kind of a statement. Yeah, so you're very clear about this.
- 10:17Speaker 1: It's not confusing when you put somebody in that friend zone,
- 10:20Speaker 1: there's not a second chance. Well rather, I mean, you've
- 10:23Speaker 1: been married for do you ever get hit on at
- 10:28Speaker 1: the bar? And that's horrible? It's people have terrible taste.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I think I don't put it out there very much either.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Like when you meet me at as ridiculous as I am,
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm not particularly sexy, Like I don't think people ever
- 10:43Speaker 1: look across the bar and said, oh, look at him
- 10:46Speaker 1: using sex appeal. I mean, excuse me that you see
- 10:50Speaker 1: yourself on Wendy Williams a few years ago. People are
- 10:54Speaker 1: leaving you. I've never had any such thing, you know.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I lost sixty pods and all Wendy wanted to talk
- 10:59Speaker 1: about on the show. She threw out the script, Mark,
- 11:01Speaker 1: We're meant to talk about the royals and all this
- 11:03Speaker 1: other stuff. She's so fabulous. She knows the story that
- 11:06Speaker 1: she thought that was more interesting than anything we could
- 11:09Speaker 1: gossip about celebrities. I love her. What's going on with
- 11:12Speaker 1: Lindsay Lohan? This story? Mark hmm, I love the story.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So Lindsay Lohan asked a fan to takedown a viral
- 11:19Speaker 1: video of her sharing some advice via cameo. Let me
- 11:23Speaker 1: explain what's going on? So Lindsay Lohan asked the TikTok
- 11:26Speaker 1: user to take down a now viral video that the
- 11:28Speaker 1: actress created for a college student who asked her to
- 11:31Speaker 1: help her come out to her parents. So this girl,
- 11:34Speaker 1: Alana on TikTok told her fans, guys, I think I
- 11:38Speaker 1: want to have I want to come out to my
- 11:40Speaker 1: parents soon. I'm going to ask Lindsay Lohan to tell
- 11:43Speaker 1: my parents for me. Now. Lindsay responded to the request
- 11:47Speaker 1: and actually asked Alana. She told Alanna, Hey, it's Lindsay Lohan.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I know that you're about to take a very big
- 11:53Speaker 1: step in your life, um and telling your parents who
- 11:56Speaker 1: you truly are and what you want them to accept
- 11:58Speaker 1: of view, and at think you should do it yourself.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Now I agree with that. I think it's a really,
- 12:03Speaker 1: really lovely advice. It's good advice. I think Lindsay has
- 12:07Speaker 1: the wherewithal to know that this is a big moment
- 12:09Speaker 1: and she doesn't need to be involved in they're coming out,
- 12:11Speaker 1: but she can be supportive behind the scenes. Well, the
- 12:14Speaker 1: TikTok user ended up posting the video of Lindsey sharing
- 12:17Speaker 1: that advice and uh and also at the same time
- 12:21Speaker 1: came out to her parents because she was afraid they
- 12:23Speaker 1: would see it on the internet. Well, Lindsay was not
- 12:26Speaker 1: thrilled that the video made its way to the internet.
- 12:29Speaker 1: She asked Alana to take it down. Rob I can
- 12:33Speaker 1: understand that Lindsay wanted that to be private, but I
- 12:36Speaker 1: don't think it shows her in a bad light. If anything,
- 12:38Speaker 1: I think it shows that she's compassionate and she has empathy.
- 12:41Speaker 1: What do you think? Many things about this story of fascinating.
- 12:43Speaker 1: First of all, we should get out the way that
- 12:44Speaker 1: a Lana did come out to her parents. Congratulations and
- 12:47Speaker 1: they took it well, so that's all good news. But
- 12:49Speaker 1: Lindsay here, don't take the stand. This is the nicest
- 12:52Speaker 1: and the most together I've seen you in. Yes, I
- 12:54Speaker 1: think it's really responsible. You can't come out for somebody else,
- 12:58Speaker 1: you can support them, you can hold that hand. We
- 13:00Speaker 1: should point out to Mark that she didn't exactly do
- 13:03Speaker 1: this video from the Goodness of her Heart cameo is
- 13:07Speaker 1: a paid video. It's a paid endorsement. So you pay
- 13:11Speaker 1: Lindsay a couple of hundred dollars and she will record
- 13:14Speaker 1: anything you want. Basically, have you heard of this cameo thing.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Our friend Garrett, who co hosts on Mondays, is going
- 13:21Speaker 1: to be with us tomorrow and Corey's officer, Garrett's jumping
- 13:23Speaker 1: in Garrett's on cameo and I think for fifty dollars
- 13:26Speaker 1: Garrett will record a message for you, Garrett, try to
- 13:29Speaker 1: get me to sign up. Nobody would want a message
- 13:32Speaker 1: from me. I mean, who would pay to hear me
- 13:34Speaker 1: say anything? Would you ever sign up? Or have you
- 13:36Speaker 1: ever bought a cameo? I was actually producing the website
- 13:40Speaker 1: the other day. There's people from our walks of life. Yes,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you can get one like they have one for charity,
- 13:45Speaker 1: which is kind of course. So the bigger the stars
- 13:47Speaker 1: will need their their time and it will go to
- 13:50Speaker 1: a good cause. But the lower end, people like you're
- 13:52Speaker 1: saying it will be like ten dollars, fifteen dollars, carrib
- 13:55Speaker 1: Carol Baskins on it from Tiger King. It was fun
- 13:59Speaker 1: a lot of the house where's there something? Who's the
- 14:03Speaker 1: most expensive house? Five? I did a little research. Guess
- 14:05Speaker 1: who wants the most amount of money to do a
- 14:07Speaker 1: message from the housewives. It's not that big a surprise.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I don't know. Bethany Frankel, Bethany frank I think it's
- 14:16Speaker 1: like seven hundred dollars, don't quote me on that, but
- 14:18Speaker 1: definitely it's not fifty. It's not fifty. Quickly before we
- 14:21Speaker 1: go to break, it's been revealed that Jailo was almost
- 14:24Speaker 1: never cast in the wedding planner before Jennifer, they wanted
- 14:27Speaker 1: mini driver. I don't know Jennifer love HWard, Sarah Michelle Gella.
- 14:32Speaker 1: The director said he just didn't think Jaylo was right
- 14:34Speaker 1: for the party, thought she was too tough. But get this,
- 14:37Speaker 1: Jennifer was so tough. She persisted and she finally ended
- 14:40Speaker 1: up having a lunch with the director. Over lunch, she
- 14:43Speaker 1: hypnotized him and got the role moral here. When people
- 14:47Speaker 1: say no, give it another try, send another email, do
- 14:50Speaker 1: another call. We don't want to be annoying, but at
- 14:53Speaker 1: the same time, we want to get the gig. So
- 14:56Speaker 1: don't worry if you push your head, We're going to
- 14:59Speaker 1: push her head right to after we take this quick break,
- 15:04Speaker 1: welcome back to They're not even my Joe. I'm rob

- 16:00Speaker 1: ever showed off her new her new look, her new haircut.
- 16:04Speaker 1: She is now back on the set of the Morning Show.
- 16:07Speaker 1: She showed a snap with her hairstylist, Chris McMillan, and
- 16:11Speaker 1: in the pic, her hair looks more blonde than ever,
- 16:14Speaker 1: Rob do you like Jennifer Andison more blonde or more brunette.
- 16:18Speaker 1: We've got the picture upon Naughty gossip dot com if
- 16:20Speaker 1: you want to check it out. I don't want Jen's
- 16:22Speaker 1: hair to ever change that Rachel do that she's had
- 16:25Speaker 1: for twenty years. I love Jenny as she is. She
- 16:29Speaker 1: never ages, she never changes. I don't want it to change.
- 16:32Speaker 1: She's almost like she won't like this comparison, but it's
- 16:34Speaker 1: said with love. She's a big mac wherever you go
- 16:37Speaker 1: in the world, it's exactly the same. You're gonna have
- 16:39Speaker 1: a big Mac in Tokyo, Paris, London, New York. It's
- 16:42Speaker 1: the same big Mac. That's gentleman. I think that's part
- 16:45Speaker 1: of the reason I love her. She's almost like comfort food,
- 16:48Speaker 1: Like she's just exactly the second. Her weight doesn't change,
- 16:51Speaker 1: she doesn't get any wrinkles, her hair doesn't change. Really,
- 16:54Speaker 1: her costume of fashion doesn't change, even she's always in
- 16:56Speaker 1: that black dress. What do you think? Are you ready
- 16:59Speaker 1: for a change? I looked like the Jen big Mac comparison.
- 17:04Speaker 1: It's just it's a Campbell suit. You were just comforted
- 17:07Speaker 1: by it. Yes, Oh, it's just delicious. Wherever you are,
- 17:09Speaker 1: you know it's gonna be there for you. It's always
- 17:11Speaker 1: going to taste good. I know. Oh, Jen, you're the
- 17:14Speaker 1: nicest of the day and now and naughtiest of the day.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Nor Massimo, Laurie Laughlin's husband, has lost his bid to
- 17:22Speaker 1: leave prison early and finish his term at home, so
- 17:26Speaker 1: his attorneys trying to spring him out of jail, saying
- 17:29Speaker 1: he'd been in quarantine ever since entering prison about three
- 17:33Speaker 1: months ago. Now he wants to get out early because
- 17:36Speaker 1: of the quarantine and the prison. You know, basically he
- 17:38Speaker 1: doesn't want to be in prison? Who does? But I
- 17:41Speaker 1: get it? Who does? So this has been denied. He
- 17:44Speaker 1: cannot get out. I think this makes him look terrible. Mark.
- 17:48Speaker 1: It's only five months. Yes, that sounds like a lot
- 17:51Speaker 1: of time, but he did some pretty bad things. I
- 17:53Speaker 1: would shut up and suck it up for five months.
- 17:56Speaker 1: What he's already two three months in. You've only got
- 17:59Speaker 1: another eight weeks. Wouldn't you just shut up? Mark? Or
- 18:02Speaker 1: would you fight like a dog to get out? Oh?
- 18:04Speaker 1: My god, Mask, please just shut up? Stop to stop it.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Get you some moisturizers. Don't worry. When you get out,
- 18:12Speaker 1: we'll make you beautiful again. Stop it. And now it's
- 18:16Speaker 1: time for a moment of rub. You get rub what
- 18:20Speaker 1: you get? Mark? You gotta rob. We haven't spoke about Doris,
- 18:23Speaker 1: your mom. This show is How is Doris? Her birthday
- 18:25Speaker 1: is on February one. I'm going home to see her
- 18:28Speaker 1: this weekend. Pass your regards, we do. We'll give her
- 18:31Speaker 1: a shout A text me the morning, so I'll give
- 18:34Speaker 1: her a little bit of a shatter. Does Doris still
- 18:36Speaker 1: listen to the show every day or just Thursdays. I
- 18:39Speaker 1: think Thursdays, but maybe here and there too. That's horrible.
- 18:42Speaker 1: What about Jonathan, you brother, your cute brother. Does he
- 18:45Speaker 1: listen at all now or not? Just thy it's maybe
- 18:47Speaker 1: every other Thursday. I'm concerning. He has like electricity over
- 18:50Speaker 1: there in that hippy town. I don't know what's going on.
- 18:52Speaker 1: We've got to get it together. Let's have a moment
- 18:55Speaker 1: of rob The truth is you are good enough. That's
- 19:00Speaker 1: the truth. You are good enough. Don't let yourself be
- 19:03Speaker 1: reduced to the things that you don't like about yourself,
- 19:05Speaker 1: and stop thinking that you're not good enough. You really
- 19:08Speaker 1: are good enough. Mark the day that I discovered that
- 19:12Speaker 1: was a liberating day. I'm good enough. I'm not great,
- 19:15Speaker 1: I'm not terrible. I'm not the best, I'm not the worst.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I'm good enough. Well, I think that's why your show
- 19:21Speaker 1: and why you work so well as because you just
- 19:23Speaker 1: have confidence and you just you just go for it
- 19:25Speaker 1: and you don't you know. I think when people wait
- 19:27Speaker 1: to be good enough, and they they're always waiting and
- 19:29Speaker 1: waiting and waiting, it never comes. And you and you
- 19:31Speaker 1: are the perfect example of someone who just went for it.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And somebody too that has average talent, like I'm not
- 19:37Speaker 1: that brilliant, I'm not, and that Stephen Calberta and not
- 19:40Speaker 1: Jimmy Fallon. They're really talented people. I know I'm good enough,
- 19:45Speaker 1: but when you look around, don't put too much pressure
- 19:48Speaker 1: on yourself. You don't have to be Shakespeare to write
- 19:52Speaker 1: a column, you don't. You don't have to be Mariah
- 19:55Speaker 1: Carey to sing a song. You don't. And so look
- 19:58Speaker 1: around and stop judge yourself against the best, yourself against
- 20:03Speaker 1: the people that are really average, but they're really successful.
- 20:07Speaker 1: There's a lot of really average people. Look around your office,
- 20:09Speaker 1: look around your life, Mark, Are there not more average
- 20:13Speaker 1: people in your life than super talented people? Be honest,
- 20:17Speaker 1: I mean, if we're being honest, yes, a average When
- 20:21Speaker 1: I look around my office, Sorry, everybody listening, including myself,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm good enough. I'm average. I'm not terrible, but I'm
- 20:29Speaker 1: not the best. And you know what that is just fine,
- 20:32Speaker 1: it's better than that. It's liberating. Hey, that's it for today, Loopie.
- 20:36Speaker 1: We love having you every Thursday. Thank you for listening
- 20:39Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and Mark show.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Look at that a production of I Heart Radio. Don't
- 20:44Speaker 1: forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast,
- 20:48Speaker 1: or wherever you listen. Leave us a review if you can.
- 20:50Speaker 1: I remember, if you're going to a naughty you've got that.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Everybody starting but ice with Ra Ra
