- 0:00Speaker 1: He knows his why around all this.
- 0:03Speaker 2: It's the Mark Simone Show on seven tenor.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Well, hey it's Wednesday, the big game Tonight game four
- 0:14Speaker 3: Madison Square Garden. Now that's tonight messager, and then it's
- 0:19Speaker 3: back to Texas for Saturday. Right. I don't understand the
- 0:24Speaker 3: way they do the schedule for these NBA Championships. Why
- 0:27Speaker 3: they have to have three days in between a game.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Why they just play every night? I don't know. I
- 0:31Speaker 3: have no idea, But so they'll play, well, no matter
- 0:36Speaker 3: what happens tonight, they'll play Saturday in Texas, and then
- 0:40Speaker 3: it's another game in Texas and then eventually they come
- 0:43Speaker 3: back to New York. We don't want to have to
- 0:45Speaker 3: go seven games. We'd like them to wrap it up
- 0:47Speaker 3: and win the thing. But I would imagine if you're
- 0:50Speaker 3: the NBA or the television networks, you wouldn't mind having
- 0:54Speaker 3: to go seven games. There's a lot of money to
- 0:56Speaker 3: be made. City in New York makes about one hundred
- 0:58Speaker 3: million on each game. All together that made a thing,
- 1:02Speaker 3: estimating about five hundred million have been made in New
- 1:05Speaker 3: York City off the knicks, off the spending, restaurants, hotels, merchandising,
- 1:11Speaker 3: all that sort of stuff. So the game is tonight
- 1:14Speaker 3: eight thirty. Again, they got that frozen zone. I don't
- 1:17Speaker 3: know why they're doing this. They're going to have the
- 1:19Speaker 3: Presidential frozen Zone. So from like five blocks in every
- 1:22Speaker 3: direction of the garden, no one's allowed in without a
- 1:25Speaker 3: ticket or a reservation at a restaurant or something like that. So, hey,
- 1:31Speaker 3: a great woman died. Billy Tish Wilma Tish. She was
- 1:35Speaker 3: the wife of Lawrence Tish Larry Tish. Remember the two
- 1:38Speaker 3: Tish brothers, Bob and Larry Tish, the guys that built
- 1:42Speaker 3: the empire, formed everything. They're both dead. Bob Tish's widow,
- 1:49Speaker 3: Joan Tish, died a few years ago. But Billy Tish
- 1:53Speaker 3: the last of that generation, ninety eight years old and
- 1:56Speaker 3: one of the greatest philanthropists in New York. You know,
- 1:59Speaker 3: you see the Tish name all over the place and
- 2:01Speaker 3: buildings and museums and hospitals. Very very generous. They had
- 2:06Speaker 3: a lot of children. She had a lot of children,
- 2:09Speaker 3: and then also she has fourteen grandchildren. One of them
- 2:13Speaker 3: is the police Commissioner Jessica Tish. This is her grandmother
- 2:17Speaker 3: that passed away. She had fifteen great grandchildren, but a
- 2:23Speaker 3: great woman, did a lot of good for New York City. Hey,
- 2:28Speaker 3: Scott Paley, I think they ought to bring him back,
- 2:32Speaker 3: not to sixty minutes. CPS should give this guy a series.
- 2:36Speaker 3: He has become great after being fired. He is the
- 2:40Speaker 3: most hysterical thing to watch. He's just this big, pompous blowhard.
- 2:46Speaker 3: They should just put him on every night and have
- 2:48Speaker 3: somebody interview him. These interviews are hysterical watching him talk
- 2:53Speaker 3: about how he saved Private Ryan, how he was a
- 2:56Speaker 3: war hero. I was in combat for this country, meant
- 3:01Speaker 3: two seconds there as a reporter, heavily guarded by truth,
- 3:05Speaker 3: these pompous statements, it's an amazing thing. I mean, I've
- 3:11Speaker 3: seen a lot of idiots in the broadcasting business, but
- 3:14Speaker 3: nothing quite like this guy. I mean, if you think
- 3:17Speaker 3: about what happened, A big, huge, enormous corporation bought CBS.
- 3:23Speaker 3: They bought it, they own it. They put a new
- 3:26Speaker 3: person in charge of sixteen minutes, and this pampas idiot
- 3:30Speaker 3: goes storming in there. You cannot do this, I'm Scott Pelly.
- 3:34Speaker 3: And he actually said to the guy, why would you
- 3:37Speaker 3: take this job when you're not welcome here? He's the
- 3:42Speaker 3: new owner. He owns the place. This guy's the new boss.
- 3:45Speaker 3: He's your boss. So of course they fired him. Actually
- 3:48Speaker 3: they didn't fire him instantly. The next day he did
- 3:51Speaker 3: this in front of everybody. The next day they offered
- 3:54Speaker 3: to meet with him, Come meet with us in private,
- 3:57Speaker 3: and let's work this out. You know. They tried to
- 3:59Speaker 3: save him. So he came and they met in private,
- 4:02Speaker 3: and he told them off again. You must get out immediately.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I'm Scott Pelly, you cannot touch. Of course they had
- 4:11Speaker 3: to fire him. What else are you gonna do? They
- 4:14Speaker 3: fired Tanya Simon. She was the executive producer of Sixteen Minutes.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Her father had been Bob Simon. You remember Bob Simon,
- 4:23Speaker 3: the great reporter and correspondent for years on sixteen Minutes.
- 4:26Speaker 3: So in these interviews he's great. Scott Pelly is I
- 4:29Speaker 3: thought Tanya Simon, because of her family history, was untouchable.
- 4:35Speaker 3: What employee is untouchable? Why would you be untouchable? I
- 4:39Speaker 3: mean maybe if you were on the air and you
- 4:42Speaker 3: had the biggest ratings in the history of the world,
- 4:45Speaker 3: maybe you were untouchable. But even then you're not. Remember
- 4:49Speaker 3: Howard stern On WNBC years million years ago, he had
- 4:53Speaker 3: the biggest ratings ever in history, beyond anything else anybody
- 5:00Speaker 3: ever had. He was totally dominated, the biggest ratings on earth.
- 5:04Speaker 3: The whole station WNBC, all their revenue was from him.
- 5:09Speaker 3: How you going to fire a guy like that? Well,
- 5:10Speaker 3: one day the chairman of RCA, which was then the
- 5:14Speaker 3: parent company, is listening and he hears lesbian dial He
- 5:18Speaker 3: hears something so disgusting he calls in. Grant Tinker, president
- 5:24Speaker 3: of NBC which owned WNBC, said, Dot the hell is this?
- 5:28Speaker 3: This is We can't have this on it. We're a
- 5:29Speaker 3: public company. Get this off the air. So Grant Tinker
- 5:33Speaker 3: goes to WNBC. He says, take that off the air,
- 5:36Speaker 3: and they explain to him it's he's ninety eight percent
- 5:40Speaker 3: of our revenue. He's got the biggest ratings, a thousand
- 5:42Speaker 3: times bigger than anybody's ere. We don't care where a
- 5:45Speaker 3: major public company of billions of dollars at stake, we
- 5:48Speaker 3: don't care about the one hundred million this guy brings in.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Get him off the air. So he was fired. Nobody's untouchable.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Nobody's but Scott Pelly. Somebody put there. Get a little
- 5:58Speaker 3: collage of some of his pompous moments and he would
- 6:01Speaker 3: go on the air and he had Trump derangement syndrome.
- 6:05Speaker 3: He would declare Trump is the worst.
- 6:08Speaker 4: Is it appropriate to ask whether the president is having
- 6:12Speaker 4: difficulty with rationality? And the president can't seem to get
- 6:15Speaker 4: out of his own way because of his PENSIONT for falsehoods?
- 6:18Speaker 3: Yeah, rationality. Listen, the guy exaggerates, he's a salesman. He
- 6:24Speaker 3: can be, you know, a big mouth. He can get
- 6:29Speaker 3: a little rough and tough with his comments. Sometimes rationality,
- 6:33Speaker 3: I don't know. The guy's pretty rational. Built a massive
- 6:36Speaker 3: international empire.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Is it appropriate to ask whether the president is having
- 6:41Speaker 4: difficulty with rationality?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:44Speaker 3: I think for you, Yeah, it's approbate with the hell
- 6:46Speaker 3: are you to.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Ask president can't seem to get out of his own
- 6:48Speaker 4: way because of his PENSIONT for falsehoods Now?
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, I mean, of course he lies now
- 6:55Speaker 3: and then he's a big businessman, he's a politician. But
- 6:58Speaker 3: you just had for four years Joe by and who
- 7:00Speaker 3: was the biggest liar in the history of American politics,
- 7:03Speaker 3: and you never said a word. You kept quiet the
- 7:05Speaker 3: whole time.
- 7:06Speaker 4: It's too soon to tell how serious President Trump is
- 7:10Speaker 4: in defiance of the Constitution.
- 7:14Speaker 3: He's defying the Constitution. I'm Scott Pelly. So but if
- 7:19Speaker 3: you can't go watch this. He does a New York
- 7:21Speaker 3: Times interview. It's about a half hour long. Every inch
- 7:24Speaker 3: of it is so laughable. I was in combat for
- 7:29Speaker 3: this country. No, you weren't. Never in combat. Who is
- 7:35Speaker 3: President Trump to talk? I was in combat? Who is
- 7:37Speaker 3: he to talk? He got a bullet in the head,
- 7:39Speaker 3: he had the top of his ear taken off by it.
- 7:41Speaker 3: He was shot at. Give me times he's been shot at.
- 7:44Speaker 3: There's been a three assassination attempts, a fourth one with
- 7:47Speaker 3: a bomb. Who the hell are you to talk, Scott Pelly?
- 7:51Speaker 3: You could see the job offers are not exactly pouring
- 7:54Speaker 3: in for Scott Pelly. But if I was seriously, I would,
- 8:00Speaker 3: if I were a network, I would hire this guy
- 8:02Speaker 3: and just have that woman interview him every night so
- 8:05Speaker 3: he could make these pompous declarations. You know one thing
- 8:09Speaker 3: about he's Ted Baxter times a million. At least Ted
- 8:12Speaker 3: Baxter had a sense of humor. At least he was cute.
- 8:15Speaker 3: This guy. Hey, the Carmelo Anthony case confusing to a
- 8:21Speaker 3: lot of people because it's not the famous Carmelo Anthony.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It's a kid named Carmelo Anthony spelled differently, but it was.
- 8:29Speaker 3: He's seventeen and he brings a knife to a high
- 8:33Speaker 3: school game, and I don't. He gets a fight with
- 8:35Speaker 3: a guy and kills him. He just stabs him. He
- 8:37Speaker 3: just kills him. It's open and shut murder. He goes
- 8:42Speaker 3: into court with absolutely no defense, there was no defense
- 8:45Speaker 3: of any kind. Jury comes back in two hours and
- 8:48Speaker 3: convicts him. I mean, there was no way not to
- 8:51Speaker 3: convict him. It was an open and shut case. It's
- 8:53Speaker 3: a definite conviction. Now, he said, trying to play the
- 8:56Speaker 3: race card. He's trying to know all this stuff. It
- 8:58Speaker 3: was just out and out murder, just murder. There's nothing
- 9:02Speaker 3: they can do. He will go to jail forever and ever. Well,
- 9:06Speaker 3: he's only seventeen. He could possibly get out at some point.
- 9:09Speaker 3: But you know, if he's lucky, you'll get some kind
- 9:12Speaker 3: of an Andrew Cuomo governor who changes the parole board
- 9:15Speaker 3: to let everybody out. But terrible, terrible case. Hey, Tom
- 9:21Speaker 3: Holman in a feud with Governor hokel. Crazy Governor Hokeel.
- 9:28Speaker 3: The target Homan's target right now are not just any
- 9:32Speaker 3: illegal migrant, but illegal migrants who are committing crimes, who
- 9:35Speaker 3: are criminals, who are gang members, who are robbers, who
- 9:38Speaker 3: are muggers, who are rapists. That's who he's going after.
- 9:43Speaker 3: So many of them end up in jail at some point.
- 9:46Speaker 3: And what they do in both places. You take Nassau County,
- 9:49Speaker 3: where you got like Bruce Blakeman, a very smart, common
- 9:53Speaker 3: sense county executive. They cooperate with ICE. We've just picked
- 9:58Speaker 3: up an illegal alien who's a dangerous gang member, criminal,
- 10:00Speaker 3: We've got them in prison. Come pick them up, and
- 10:03Speaker 3: they go to the prison, and they take them out
- 10:04Speaker 3: of there and take them to their detention center. And
- 10:08Speaker 3: Blakeman cooperates with ICE. That's why you see no problems
- 10:12Speaker 3: in NASA County. Nothing goes wrong there. They cooperate with ICE.
- 10:15Speaker 3: They lend ICE detectives, local police whatever they need, lend
- 10:19Speaker 3: them offices, they lend them jail cells if they need them.
- 10:22Speaker 3: That's the way you do it. Local signs legislation that
- 10:28Speaker 3: Holman cannot come into any jail, he can't arrest anybody
- 10:31Speaker 3: in jail. So he announces he's gonna send in more
- 10:36Speaker 3: ICE agents than you've ever seen anywhere. He's going to
- 10:38Speaker 3: just send thousands of ICE agents in here, because if
- 10:41Speaker 3: he can't go into jail and arrest, you know, if
- 10:43Speaker 3: you want to pick them up in jail, you send
- 10:45Speaker 3: two guys. They take his handcuffs off and put their
- 10:49Speaker 3: handcuffs on, and they take them away and then clean
- 10:53Speaker 3: and easy. If you can't arrest them in jail, you're
- 10:56Speaker 3: gonna have to arrest them on the street in their house,
- 10:58Speaker 3: which means you're going to need twenty agents surrounding the
- 11:01Speaker 3: house to get him out of there. It gets messy.
- 11:04Speaker 3: But Holman, he's never had a deal with, is a
- 11:08Speaker 3: wacko governor, and.
- 11:09Speaker 5: We got Rikers Island in New York City. I don't
- 11:11Speaker 5: agree with Mayor Adams to get back into Rucker's Island. Now,
- 11:14Speaker 5: if you truly believe we have a right to arrest
- 11:16Speaker 5: and deport criminals, they're in the country legally doing Why
- 11:20Speaker 5: am I loft out of Rucker's Island? Why did you
- 11:22Speaker 5: keep releasing to the street.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's ridiculous at Mike, Mayor Adams, Boy, do we
- 11:26Speaker 3: miss that guy? Do you ever think you'd miss him
- 11:29Speaker 3: so much? Mayor Adams had an agreement with Homan. You
- 11:31Speaker 3: can come into the jails take him from there. That way,
- 11:34Speaker 3: there's no mess on the street, much easier to do so.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Had a terrible situation. Actually, the Central Park horse just
- 11:42Speaker 3: drops dead in the street. Now, from what we hear,
- 11:44Speaker 3: the horse was not abused or anything like that, but
- 11:48Speaker 3: it was just a terrible situation. Horse fell down in
- 11:50Speaker 3: a minute.
- 11:51Speaker 5: What did you do when that horse fell down?
- 11:53Speaker 3: I just come out. I tried to take it out
- 11:55Speaker 3: and make him horse free to get up, and he
- 11:58Speaker 3: died in a two second. Okay, that's the guy, the owner.
- 12:01Speaker 3: He sounds like a nice, responsible guy. But I don't know.
- 12:06Speaker 3: There's too many horses in Central Park. It's too many
- 12:08Speaker 3: of these horses cut it down. I mean, it wasn't
- 12:12Speaker 3: a particularly hot day yesterday, but that can happen. The
- 12:16Speaker 3: one thing you got to get rid of are these
- 12:18Speaker 3: petty cabs. These petty cabs, and they should not be
- 12:22Speaker 3: allowed in the street. They should not be allowed in
- 12:23Speaker 3: the streets. They should not be allowed in the park,
- 12:27Speaker 3: they should not be allowed in this country. They're absolutely disgusting.
- 12:30Speaker 3: It's one thing to be a horse. You hear the
- 12:32Speaker 3: clip clop of the horse and you see the beautiful
- 12:36Speaker 3: horse in front of Here's something romantic about that. It's
- 12:38Speaker 3: something very picturesque. But the petty cab, it's a filthy,
- 12:43Speaker 3: disgusting metal metal thing. You're sitting in with a illegal
- 12:46Speaker 3: alien peddling, and he's got this boombox blasting ridiculous music
- 12:51Speaker 3: so loud. I mean, it's the stupidest thing in the world.
- 12:55Speaker 3: The guy peddling as fast as he can and they
- 12:57Speaker 3: rob people. They get these tourists in there who aren't
- 13:01Speaker 3: clear on the price. Next thing you know, they try
- 13:02Speaker 3: to get out. It's one hundred and fifty dollars, the
- 13:04Speaker 3: illegal alien threatening to kill them if they don't pay it.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Get rid of all these petty cabs. How can we
- 13:10Speaker 3: have them because of a sleezeball politicians that allow this,
- 13:15Speaker 3: this apparently a petticab, a union association that makes massive donations.
- 13:20Speaker 3: But get rid of all of them. So, as I said,
- 13:24Speaker 3: Game four is tonight. Got to stop with the orange
- 13:30Speaker 3: and the blue bagels. Hey, today's were delicious. They were
- 13:32Speaker 3: from Liberty Bagels. We have these big begel buffets, but
- 13:36Speaker 3: they're orange and blue. It tastes great, but you have
- 13:38Speaker 3: to close your eyes when you eat because when you're
- 13:40Speaker 3: eating a blue bagel, I don't know, just it doesn't
- 13:42Speaker 3: look right. Anyway, we'll take some calls. Next eight hundred
- 13:45Speaker 3: three to two one zero seven ten is the number
- 13:48Speaker 3: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Mark simone
- 13:53Speaker 3: on sevent ten. Hey, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred
- 14:00Speaker 3: three two one zero seven ten is the number eight
- 14:03Speaker 3: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Let's go to
- 14:06Speaker 3: John in Florida. John, how you doing?
- 14:10Speaker 2: Nope?
- 14:11Speaker 3: Wait a minute, Johnny there? Hello, Yes, go ahead.
- 14:15Speaker 6: John, All right, this is John. I'm calling them. Talk
- 14:20Speaker 6: about the Kalstinians and then the Nette. Yeah, who them
- 14:25Speaker 6: having a bit of a whip. Yes, well, that went
- 14:29Speaker 6: on before twenty twenty three. Of course, a monster be
- 14:33Speaker 6: formed in the first first place. I mean, Israel was
- 14:38Speaker 6: encroaching on Palestinian Papa Lean, arresting innocent Palestinians long before
- 14:45Speaker 6: October seventh. And yes, you guys hardly ever talked about that.
- 14:50Speaker 3: I mean, the one reason we don't like to talk
- 14:52Speaker 3: about it because it's not it's not true.
- 14:54Speaker 6: They have to get along.
- 14:55Speaker 3: And yeah, well, if those Palestinians were stopped running these
- 14:59Speaker 3: holid that October seventh, it's better if we just talk
- 15:03Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 15:05Speaker 6: All right, Thanks for.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Great Thanks for slowing us up here. Let's go to
- 15:12Speaker 3: Colin in Morristown. Colin, how you doing.
- 15:16Speaker 6: Good?
- 15:17Speaker 7: I'm doing great, Mark, longtime listener, a big fan of
- 15:19Speaker 7: w OR got a quick comment and then a question.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 15:23Speaker 7: Comment is the I've been a.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Fan of you and a w R forever.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Big butt is coming, Yes, but pardon what's the butt?
- 15:36Speaker 7: The butt is?
- 15:37Speaker 2: How in the world could w O R bring on
- 15:40Speaker 2: Curtis after he helped even a little bit get Mundani
- 15:43Speaker 2: in place.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Well, that's be a good point, As our friend Mike
- 15:47Speaker 3: Wallace would say, it does not have the added benefit
- 15:50Speaker 3: of being true. Curtis had nothing to do with Mom
- 15:52Speaker 3: Donnie getting in. Had Curtis never been in the race,
- 15:55Speaker 3: if he gave every single voter he got to Cuomo,
- 15:58Speaker 3: Cuomo was still like eight point short. Cuomo had absolutely
- 16:03Speaker 3: no shot at all. People hate Cuomo so much. If
- 16:07Speaker 3: Cuomo had not gotten in the race, you would have
- 16:10Speaker 3: had a different Democratic nominee. You would have had Brad Landers,
- 16:13Speaker 3: somebody else. Cuomo jumps into the primary, hands it to
- 16:16Speaker 3: Mom Donnie by completely screwing up the apartment. Cuomo was
- 16:19Speaker 3: the worst candidate ever, the worst debater ever, never had
- 16:23Speaker 3: a shot.
- 16:25Speaker 6: But Curtis didn't a contributor all TOI getting in there.
- 16:29Speaker 8: Don't not at all.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Take every again, this is simple math. Take every single
- 16:35Speaker 3: vote that Curtis got, give it to Cuomo. He was
- 16:38Speaker 3: still eight points short. Now, remember, okay, Cuomo had no
- 16:44Speaker 3: chance to begin with. As you got into the election,
- 16:47Speaker 3: he had the biggest push anybody in the history of
- 16:50Speaker 3: politics has ever had.
- 16:52Speaker 2: You.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Remember, he had everybody on the air day and night
- 16:54Speaker 3: telling you to vote for him, even the President United States,
- 16:57Speaker 3: everybody telling you to vote for him. He still didn't.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I'm close. He had no shot. Had he stayed out
- 17:03Speaker 3: of this, out of know the Curtis would have won.
- 17:05Speaker 3: But you would have had a different Democratic nominee. You
- 17:08Speaker 3: probably would have had Brad Lander, one of those kind
- 17:11Speaker 3: of guys, and it would have been totally different. Cuomo
- 17:16Speaker 3: was the worst nightmare in the mayoral race. Had he
- 17:19Speaker 3: stayed out of it, everything would have changed. Let's go
- 17:22Speaker 3: to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich how you doing wealk?
- 17:25Speaker 2: You were one thousand percent right on that Curtis call
- 17:28Speaker 2: right there, and the guy before that been watching way
- 17:30Speaker 2: too much lamestream media. I just finished cooking breakfast for
- 17:33Speaker 2: my wife's Patriot Club. It's a bunch of women, Dan,
- 17:36Speaker 2: you were conservatives, and they're very disappointed that Lindja Graham
- 17:39Speaker 2: got voted in again. And they're very disappointed that this
- 17:42Speaker 2: ever became the governor.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Haley, why do you have to cook breakfast for these
- 17:47Speaker 3: clucking hens?
- 17:49Speaker 2: Well because I got a big blackstone griddle and I
- 17:53Speaker 2: can cook all the baker and the eggs. And you know,
- 17:55Speaker 2: I'm proud of him because they get involved and they
- 17:57Speaker 2: eat meat and they eat eggs and sitting around eating
- 18:00Speaker 2: fruit and yoga and stuff like that. But it's a
- 18:02Speaker 2: nice group of women that follow around to see my band.
- 18:06Speaker 2: But they call themselves the Patriot Girls of the Patriot
- 18:09Speaker 2: Club down here a murder beach. But they're very disappointed
- 18:12Speaker 2: got in again.
- 18:13Speaker 3: They look like the Golden Girls. They look like the
- 18:15Speaker 3: Golden Girls.
- 18:16Speaker 6: A little no, not yet, no yet.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Okay, all right, thanks for calling. Let's go to uh
- 18:24Speaker 3: Chris in Westchester. Chris. How you doing?
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:28Speaker 8: Hi, Mark, you know.
- 18:32Speaker 3: You sound like you're inside a sofa.
- 18:33Speaker 8: Okay, can you hear me?
- 18:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good.
- 18:36Speaker 8: Okay, Sorry, Graham. Platner's detractors are working so hard, uh,
- 18:42Speaker 8: you know, to turn everyone against him, and nothing seems
- 18:44Speaker 8: to work. You know, they use women. He uh, he's
- 18:48Speaker 8: just got two. He sets texts and everything.
- 18:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Remember it's crazy Maine, which, like for mine, has been
- 18:54Speaker 3: taken over by a million left wing cooks that moved there.
- 18:58Speaker 3: You know, it doesn't take a lot of people to
- 19:00Speaker 3: changed the vote of Maine. It's a very small population there.
- 19:03Speaker 8: So oh well, I just wondered why they don't point
- 19:06Speaker 8: out that he sit on Reddit he claimed that blacks
- 19:08Speaker 8: never kipped, and.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Well, people point and people have been pointing out all
- 19:12Speaker 3: this stuff all over the place. Everybody's been pointing it out.
- 19:15Speaker 3: That's how you heard about it. Yeah, everybody's been pointing
- 19:19Speaker 3: that out. That's how you know about it. Let's go
- 19:21Speaker 3: to uh Vincent and Brooklyn Vincent, how you doing?
- 19:25Speaker 7: Good morning, Vincent?
- 19:27Speaker 3: Was I was at the Great Italian restaurant, probably the
- 19:30Speaker 3: best one in New York, Nicola's last night.
- 19:33Speaker 7: Oh good.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Every everybody was talking about you. Wow, I'm all big,
- 19:38Speaker 3: fancy yours.
- 19:40Speaker 7: I'm I'm glad, I'm glad they like what I have
- 19:43Speaker 7: to say. The problem with Maine. Maine is basically a
- 19:46Speaker 7: welfare state. Most of the people up there are on
- 19:50Speaker 7: on the dole. It's really a poor state and there's
- 19:52Speaker 7: not much opportunity unless you're going to be a fisherman market.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Well you remember it. Maine is like Vermont now in
- 19:58Speaker 3: that got taken over a million is a pending on millions.
- 20:01Speaker 3: But a lot of people moved there from Brooklyn, from
- 20:03Speaker 3: New York, from Massachusetts, from Cambridge. A lot of liberals
- 20:06Speaker 3: up there in now contry.
- 20:07Speaker 7: Well, good for them, because I don't like the cold.
- 20:09Speaker 7: I mean Boston. One time I tried to go in
- 20:13Speaker 7: the water off the coast of Boston. I forget where
- 20:17Speaker 7: it was, and it was in the middle of the summer,
- 20:19Speaker 7: and I said never again, because it was like fifty degrees.
- 20:23Speaker 3: You need you were out in the water. Yeah, sure,
- 20:26Speaker 3: well you making a deposit? What were you doing out there?
- 20:30Speaker 7: Uh? What a was I doing up there?
- 20:32Speaker 3: You don't have to say?
- 20:34Speaker 7: All right, Mark, I feel vindicated today because Liz Pek
- 20:38Speaker 7: earlier repeated what I had said about the Strait of
- 20:42Speaker 7: Hormo's oil problem. And also, unfortunately John Bolton was vindicated
- 20:48Speaker 7: yesterday when Trump had to go back and reattack Iran
- 20:53Speaker 7: because they knocked down one of our helicopters and the
- 20:57Speaker 7: problem with these people were bad actors like that. Uh,
- 21:03Speaker 7: you can't go you you have to go better than
- 21:06Speaker 7: tips for tack. The old saying is that you give
- 21:08Speaker 7: a bum an inch, they'll take a yard. You give
- 21:13Speaker 7: them a tow, they'll take a foot. These people a
- 21:17Speaker 7: bad act this period. And that's all I want to say.
- 21:20Speaker 3: All right, Well, watch tonight. I think you'll see a big, big, big,
- 21:24Speaker 3: massive attack.
- 21:25Speaker 7: Right, let's see it. Let's let's see this guy's light off.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Oh, actually, you've got to wait till after the game.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Don't do it. Okay, don't do that, don't know. I
- 21:32Speaker 3: hope he doesn't do it during the game. He'll have
- 21:34Speaker 3: to do it in the middle of the night.
- 21:36Speaker 7: Well, I hope he does it after the game. As
- 21:37Speaker 7: you say, I hope he does it right when the
- 21:40Speaker 7: eleven o'clock Who's comes on?
- 21:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 21:42Speaker 3: All right, Vincent, thanks for calling. Uh oh, when we
- 21:44Speaker 3: come back, and Coulter will be with us next. Lots
- 21:47Speaker 3: to talk to her about coming up on seven to
- 21:50Speaker 3: ten wo.
- 21:51Speaker 5: Rr Simon Show Live from the WR Life Back Studio.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Well culture, the great columnist, the best selling author, and
- 22:03Speaker 3: hey check out her Rumble channel. It's and Culter at
- 22:06Speaker 3: rumble a lot of good stuff there, and make sure
- 22:08Speaker 3: you follow her on Twitter and substacks. You've got the
- 22:10Speaker 3: podcasts and interviews and all sorts of stuff there and
- 22:13Speaker 3: culter dot substack dot com and culter.
- 22:17Speaker 1: How you doing fantastic? How are you, Mark Simone?
- 22:20Speaker 3: I'm good? What'd you think all those primaries last night? Platina?
- 22:24Speaker 3: Did you think you'd win that big?
- 22:28Speaker 6: I guess yep?
- 22:34Speaker 3: Are you there?
- 22:36Speaker 1: You hear me?
- 22:36Speaker 3: Yeah? You keep cutting out? Try it again?
- 22:41Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 22:42Speaker 3: Much better?
- 22:43Speaker 1: Goodness? I'm sorry, uh as he was the only one
- 22:48Speaker 1: on the ballot. I guess we'll see what to say,
- 22:51Speaker 1: even though you're probably going to yell at me. What
- 22:56Speaker 1: what's odd about what they're going after Planner for? And
- 22:59Speaker 1: is interesting how the media the New York Times, MSNBC,
- 23:03Speaker 1: and CNN are heavily covering the negative things about Platiner,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and of all the things he's done, those two are
- 23:12Speaker 1: the ones I'd defend him on the most. I think
- 23:14Speaker 1: he's done other bad things, but the media doesn't care
- 23:17Speaker 1: the absolutely awful thing he said about that American soldier
- 23:22Speaker 1: being shot when he was trying to distract and rescue
- 23:26Speaker 1: his mates. And I'll tweet it when we get out.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I'm sure you know what it is. But the sneering
- 23:32Speaker 1: thing of this idiot should have died. Oh you never.
- 23:37Speaker 1: And there's a video of this by being shot. I
- 23:40Speaker 1: he lost a leg. I mean it was a horrible leg.
- 23:42Speaker 1: That was a horrible thing. Can you hear me?
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:46Speaker 3: You keep cutting out it a little bit. So, hey,
- 23:49Speaker 3: los Angeles, are we supposed to believe that these election
- 23:52Speaker 3: results are legitimate? And Los Angeles?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Can I call you back?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:55Speaker 3: Call us right back. Yeah, you keep cutting out, call
- 23:58Speaker 3: us right back. We'll get her back and try it again.
- 24:02Speaker 3: In case nobody was following this, Platner won big seventy
- 24:06Speaker 3: five percent of the vote. But again, yeah, she's right.
- 24:10Speaker 3: There wasn't really an opponent. And in La Pratt was ahead,
- 24:16Speaker 3: doing great in the voting when everybody came out to vote,
- 24:19Speaker 3: he was doing great. Then the writings start and all
- 24:22Speaker 3: of a sudden, nothing and the other woman is surging.
- 24:25Speaker 3: The woman is surging like crazy. Nobody's falling for it
- 24:28Speaker 3: for a second. Is that her? Yes, let's get her
- 24:32Speaker 3: on the air. We'll talk to Ann Culter again, get
- 24:36Speaker 3: her back and see if this is better. Got her anyway?
- 24:42Speaker 3: And culture are you there.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Yes, I think this is your end. Can you hear me?
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah? You sound better now. So we're talking about Los Angeles.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I talk on this phone every day. I never cut out. No,
- 24:52Speaker 1: I haven't finished with Maine.
- 24:54Speaker 6: Oh.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I do not believe that anyone thought that was a
- 24:58Speaker 1: Nazi tattoo. I've looked it up online on Reddit, on
- 25:05Speaker 1: Reddit threads with people saying, hey, I've had this tattoo.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I warned it forever, and for seven years no one
- 25:11Speaker 1: ever mentioned this. My cousin said, hey, you know that's
- 25:13Speaker 1: what Nazis were. It's a skull and crossbones.
- 25:16Speaker 6: You would think that the SWASTI cut it's the tattoo.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You can look it up, but you have to do
- 25:21Speaker 1: research to find out the matter with this tattoo.
- 25:24Speaker 3: It is actually a division of the SS that ran
- 25:27Speaker 3: the death cancer. It's their tattoo.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I know when you have to do research to
- 25:31Speaker 1: say that there's something the matter with that tattoo. And
- 25:35Speaker 1: then as for the way he treats his girlfriend's ye, okay,
- 25:38Speaker 1: he was a jerk, but these were voluntary, consensual arrangements.
- 25:44Speaker 1: You know, you can leave. I have very little sympathy
- 25:48Speaker 1: for particularly, I mean a lot a lot of it
- 25:50Speaker 1: is things I wouldn't put up with. So, okay, okay,
- 25:54Speaker 1: he grabs your arms, he locks you in a room
- 25:56Speaker 1: and says, calm down, so you leave. You're done with him.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And there were probably some warning signs before that, But
- 26:02Speaker 1: the sexual harassment and the Nazi thing are the least
- 26:05Speaker 1: offensive things he's done, and those are the only ones
- 26:08Speaker 1: the media are talking about.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Now, the Republicans have been claiming all that we
- 26:12Speaker 3: got more dirt on him if he gets it, we
- 26:14Speaker 3: got so much dirt out. Well, let's see if they
- 26:16Speaker 3: actually do. Let's see.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I hate when Republicans do that. They raise expectations so high.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I mean, I do think this guy is a little
- 26:24Speaker 1: bit of a nut, and Susan Collins has pulled a
- 26:26Speaker 1: rabbit out of the hat before I am. Although it's
- 26:29Speaker 1: so weird that to the left, this is the strange
- 26:33Speaker 1: thing about it. The media, the Democrats, the James Carvills
- 26:36Speaker 1: are yes, but it doesn't matter. He could be you know,
- 26:40Speaker 1: Hitler himself. We've got to defeat Susan Colin. Susan Colin,
- 26:47Speaker 1: Jesus the most liberal of all the Repulicans. I mean,
- 26:50Speaker 1: it's weird that you and I are even supporting her,
- 26:53Speaker 1: But I do for one reason, and one reason only.
- 26:56Speaker 1: She voted for Kavanaugh and she voted against any coney Bear,
- 27:00Speaker 1: so I'm for both of those votes.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Hey what about LA though? Are we supposed to believe
- 27:03Speaker 3: these write in votes? It's statistically impossible. What's happening in
- 27:07Speaker 3: these writings?
- 27:08Speaker 1: No, it's it's outrageous. I've talked about this in my
- 27:12Speaker 1: sub set this week that the thing about California, I mean, everyone,
- 27:17Speaker 1: The New York Times, Nate Silver, They're all saying third
- 27:20Speaker 1: world countries with millions of people can report their results
- 27:24Speaker 1: the next day. This is this is an example of
- 27:26Speaker 1: a failed state. It's embarrassing. Get your act together. Okay,
- 27:30Speaker 1: So why have Republicans never pushed California's to get its
- 27:33Speaker 1: act together, or to prevent the cheating before it happens,
- 27:37Speaker 1: or prevent it after it happens in the counting room.
- 27:41Speaker 1: It's because it's a one party state. Republicans don't compete
- 27:45Speaker 1: in California, which is why number one the popular vote
- 27:51Speaker 1: is totally completely irrelevant. We know they're cheating like madd
- 27:54Speaker 1: in California. Who cares it's Democrat versus Democrat Republicans aren't
- 27:58Speaker 1: even paying attention. So the entire popular vote advantage that
- 28:02Speaker 1: Democrats get, for example in twenty sixteen and twenty twenty,
- 28:07Speaker 1: it is entirely out of California. So you know, if
- 28:12Speaker 1: they want to go to a popular vote, fine, we're
- 28:14Speaker 1: gonna have We're gonna have vote watchers and counters and
- 28:17Speaker 1: clean up that voting system in California so they won't
- 28:21Speaker 1: just keep manufacturing votes. But no, of course, it's it's fake.
- 28:25Speaker 1: There are million ways to cheat. It's the entire system
- 28:29Speaker 1: that was set up by Gavin Newsom and the Democratic
- 28:32Speaker 1: legislature in Flora, in California, and once the election is run,
- 28:36Speaker 1: it's a little tough to do anything about it. But
- 28:39Speaker 1: I the nation's attention on what Newsom has done, and
- 28:43Speaker 1: as n A. Silver calls, it turned it into a
- 28:45Speaker 1: failed state.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah, well what about Hilton? Steve Hilton, does he have
- 28:50Speaker 3: any chance to win?
- 28:52Speaker 7: Yes?
- 28:53Speaker 1: Also talked about this in my sub stack. The great
- 28:56Speaker 1: thing I've pictures of the woman who may Savelifornia. Sergei Brinn,
- 29:01Speaker 1: the co founder of Google, happens to be dating a
- 29:05Speaker 1: MAGA influencer and she's a lovely gal. Uh So, suddenly
- 29:11Speaker 1: Sergi Brnn, who has been a big lefty based on
- 29:14Speaker 1: his donations and you know, wild support for the stat
- 29:17Speaker 1: and opposition to Trump. No, suddenly he's giving to the RNC,
- 29:21Speaker 1: taking his girlfriend to mar A Lago in the White
- 29:24Speaker 1: House and he donated I don't know what it was,
- 29:27Speaker 1: something like fifty million to Steve Hilton. So maybe he
- 29:30Speaker 1: can employ the the Vogue watcher very good to really
- 29:34Speaker 1: review those ballots.
- 29:35Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, you know I really love now is Scott Pelly.
- 29:39Speaker 3: They should just put him on the air and have
- 29:40Speaker 3: people interview him. What a populard.
- 29:46Speaker 1: You. I like the same thing as Mark Simone.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I love when he says I was in combat for
- 29:53Speaker 3: this country.
- 29:58Speaker 1: No, they really could not have gotten less appealing person
- 30:01Speaker 1: to make their their baby seal. And oh mean Barry
- 30:06Speaker 1: Weise getting rid of this fabulous journalist. No, he has
- 30:10Speaker 1: always been a pompous ass. I checked my columns I
- 30:13Speaker 1: have written about him, making fun of him. One time,
- 30:18Speaker 1: he very bravely on sixty Minutes called Trump a felon,
- 30:22Speaker 1: and the entire MSM went nuts with his bravery calling
- 30:26Speaker 1: miss Sellen. So you do quick next to search everybody's
- 30:29Speaker 1: called them a felon.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Yeah, but the new boss takes over and he stands
- 30:34Speaker 3: up in front of the whole town hall. He actually
- 30:36Speaker 3: said to him, why would you take this job when
- 30:38Speaker 3: you know you're not welcome?
- 30:44Speaker 1: That things got Pelly, No, I agree. We need we
- 30:50Speaker 1: need a lot of pompous interviews with him so that
- 30:54Speaker 1: people anyone who had doubts about you know, Barry Weiss
- 30:57Speaker 1: taking over or well we'll he' Scott Pelly and they go,
- 31:00Speaker 1: oh my gosh, thank you have and she's taken over.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yeah, so and apparently she'll take over CNN at some point. Hey,
- 31:07Speaker 3: and she's not a Republican conservative, she's a liberal.
- 31:11Speaker 1: She's no I know, it's like another Susan Collins thing. Yeah,
- 31:16Speaker 1: you're not totally down with you know, ilhan Omar and
- 31:19Speaker 1: suddenly you're a fire, fire breathing light winger.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, everybody follow and culture on Twitter, follow, sign
- 31:27Speaker 3: up for her substack. It's great stuff on substack. And
