- 2:03Speaker 1: I'm excited. I'm acclamating it. So thank you in advances. Now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I just have to warn everybody my energy is a
- 2:11Speaker 1: little low tonight because my husband, her freaking husband. My husband.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Oh I love don't get me wrong, we love him
- 2:19Speaker 1: very much. He traveled yet again.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He got his big ol' tixis body on a plane,
- 2:27Speaker 1: went to Boston, and the day before he comes home
- 2:31Speaker 1: he texts me yet again.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Every time.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm getting sick, every time, every every time time he travels,
- 2:39Speaker 1: literally every time.
- 2:40Speaker 2: It's always at the end of his trip.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yep.
- 2:42Speaker 2: He'll message you late at night, I'm getting sick, I know.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And then he brings that crud home to me, and
- 2:48Speaker 1: then within four days or whatever, you're still getting sick,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and so I'm starting to get sick.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Plus, I'm just over it with sister wives. I'm stas.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So if I'm a little weird or if I just
- 3:02Speaker 1: don't get that is why. If I'm just I ain't
- 3:06Speaker 1: got nothing for these people. Not over it, nothing, Any
- 3:09Speaker 1: takeaway from you after watching the final tell all, my friend.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I mean, I got two takeaways. Okay, one, I'm also
- 3:15Speaker 2: over it. I'm so tired of it. After this tell all,
- 3:17Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't remember anything. I don't know what
- 3:20Speaker 2: y'all are saying. I don't care what y'all are saying.
- 3:23Speaker 2: My second takeaway is that it's too much Cody and Robin. Yeah,
- 3:27Speaker 2: like so many clips of Cody and Robin. I'm like,
- 3:29Speaker 2: I don't care about these people. I don't care about
- 3:32Speaker 2: your dumb love story.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Your sex before marriage.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Lightning bolts, and your pussies.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I don't care about that.
- 3:38Speaker 2: I don't give it.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I know nobody does. No, that's your thought. Yes, I
- 3:43Speaker 1: think we all agree. I think we can go sign
- 3:46Speaker 1: on that one. My thought is just I need a break.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I just need a break. I think next week, if
- 3:52Speaker 1: we could just take a week off, sounds great before
- 3:54Speaker 1: we dive right back into rewind and I know, welcome
- 3:58Speaker 1: to Plaid phill is coming back? When is that again?
- 4:00Speaker 2: July July something? July eighteenth, twenty is?
- 4:04Speaker 1: I thought it was like in the beginning of July.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I don't tell July, like we're still commiserating as to
- 4:09Speaker 1: whether we're going to watch that, so before we start
- 4:11Speaker 1: watching anything new and covering the old stuff too, Like,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I just need a week, yeah, to take a break,
- 4:17Speaker 1: to get into coffin with some of those little brown
- 4:20Speaker 1: kids and just just have a moment to myself in
- 4:23Speaker 1: the dark. That is what I need. I think that's fair, Okay,
- 4:27Speaker 1: And so next week we are not going to be here,
- 4:29Speaker 1: but we're going to be continuing to put content up
- 4:33Speaker 1: on our Patreon. See if you still want to hear
- 4:35Speaker 1: from us even though we take a one week break
- 4:37Speaker 1: after this week, make sure to subscribe to our Patreon,
- 4:41Speaker 1: please and thank you. All right, well, take it away
- 4:43Speaker 1: for this final recap of season nineteen, episode twenty nine,
- 4:49Speaker 1: twenty nine.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Wow, absolutely insane, way too long for a season in
- 4:54Speaker 2: my opinion. But we start off wrapping up the conversation
- 4:58Speaker 2: from last week about the freak and luggage Rag who
- 5:01Speaker 2: Cares and Robin getting her needs met aka her box it,
- 5:07Speaker 2: And then we talk about Cody and his obsession with
- 5:11Speaker 2: appearances and people looking good who cares, which we talked
- 5:15Speaker 2: about a lot.
- 5:16Speaker 1: We had already talked about this to death, I mean
- 5:19Speaker 1: to my death in a coughin I'm dead.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Like we're talking about the camping story again and showing
- 5:24Speaker 2: the clip of Christine in the U haul with David
- 5:26Speaker 2: talking about the camps we.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Had already seen. First of all, we saw it the
- 5:30Speaker 1: first time they aired it hut out, and then we.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Saw it the second time during the tail all the
- 5:33Speaker 3: year we played it, Yeah, and now we got to
- 5:35Speaker 3: watch it again.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and now we have to talk about it again
- 5:38Speaker 2: about how Cody is self centered and he only cares
- 5:41Speaker 2: about appearances.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yes we know, duh, Yes we know. Tell me something
- 5:44Speaker 1: I haven't heard it.
- 5:45Speaker 2: The only thing that was interesting about this was that
- 5:48Speaker 2: Robin with her hard jaw, is denying the camping story
- 5:51Speaker 2: even though it's literally on film.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Doesn't she know that it's on film? Doesn't know that
- 5:58Speaker 1: Hunter was getting upset because no, he was helping. Doesn't
- 6:01Speaker 1: she know that there is footage of her putting on
- 6:05Speaker 1: her beat makeup and getting herself together out in Big
- 6:09Speaker 1: Bear or whatever.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I don't recall, gosh, I don't recall I remember pitching in.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I'm sure I pitched in, though I like cooked her something.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I took turns cooking. I did my fair share. They're
- 6:21Speaker 2: just poking fun at me. That's not true, she says, yes,
- 6:24Speaker 2: when it's on film. I'm just like, why aren't we
- 6:26Speaker 2: calling her out?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Like why would it cost you production to just roll
- 6:29Speaker 1: the tape? I wunder and just roll the damp tape.
- 6:32Speaker 2: They show it in the clip like they show like
- 6:35Speaker 2: a montage to us. I don't think they showed it
- 6:37Speaker 2: to them.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Watch the clips.
- 6:38Speaker 2: She won't.
- 6:39Speaker 1: So maybe Sukie could have said something like, well, if
- 6:41Speaker 1: you had watched the clip, then we just showed you
- 6:42Speaker 1: you would have saw yourself put in the makeup on.
- 6:45Speaker 2: She would have just said some shit like oh, they
- 6:47Speaker 2: edited it, they edited it out. I was actually helping,
- 6:50Speaker 2: like she probably would have just made it up. I'm
- 6:52Speaker 2: just like Robin.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Lies on lies on lies on lies.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I mean, why can't would it kill you to tell
- 6:57Speaker 2: the truth once in your life.
- 6:59Speaker 1: She doesn't know how, No, she is not in her No.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Not at all. And then we have David on the
- 7:05Speaker 2: couch for some reason talking about polygamy, talking about how
- 7:08Speaker 2: it's all about control, how he apparently dated other ex
- 7:12Speaker 2: polygamous women and the men just completely ruined them. But
- 7:15Speaker 2: thank god for.
- 7:16Speaker 1: CHRISTINEO Diamond in the Rough. Yeah, that was a little
- 7:20Speaker 1: bit of an ify commentary a lot of women in general.
- 7:24Speaker 1: But I mean he does have family members, sisters, yeah,
- 7:27Speaker 1: specifically who are in or were in polygamy, so he
- 7:30Speaker 1: did have some observations. But yeah, it sucks. Polygamy is
- 7:34Speaker 1: terrible to women, polygamy is terrible for children, and he
- 7:37Speaker 1: knows it and he's seen it firsthand.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I would like to hear those comments from the women, though,
- 7:41Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like David's the one that's
- 7:43Speaker 2: articulating it. But I'm like Christine, like you have said
- 7:46Speaker 2: a million times on our episodes, like Christine was the
- 7:48Speaker 2: one championing polygamy and advocating for it and these earlier
- 7:53Speaker 2: seasons like it'd be cool she just said, Yeah, I
- 7:55Speaker 2: realized that polygamy is actually fucking bad for women. Yeah,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and not empowering at all. And really awful.
- 8:00Speaker 1: That's a really good point because we do see Christine
- 8:04Speaker 1: advocating for herself and calling things out in the relationship
- 8:08Speaker 1: with Cody and within the family structure, but like, she's
- 8:11Speaker 1: really not commenting a lot on polygamy in general or
- 8:14Speaker 1: the religion in general, even though she has left it.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I don't know if she believes anymore. I don't know
- 8:19Speaker 1: what the status of her faith is. It would be
- 8:21Speaker 1: great if we could get something from her on that.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But no, but no, but alass nothing for us Raccoons,
- 8:29Speaker 1: the dubut nothing at all, the faithful fans of this
- 8:33Speaker 1: freaking show. Maybe it'll be in her book, which we're
- 8:35Speaker 1: gonna have to buy for thirty four dollars inflation.
- 8:38Speaker 2: That's not even written by her, I.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Know, it's totally AI chat GPT.
- 8:44Speaker 2: And then we talk about Cody putting himself first, like
- 8:47Speaker 2: we didn't already know that, and we have Mary defending
- 8:50Speaker 2: the fact that.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I'm ending this season hating Mary again. Oh my god, Mary,
- 8:57Speaker 1: I thought you were worthying of. No. I thought you
- 8:59Speaker 1: were trying to show up for women. I thought you
- 9:01Speaker 1: were doing some motivational speaking for women to encourage them
- 9:04Speaker 1: to better their lives. And this is what you're giving us. Well, yeah,
- 9:07Speaker 1: of course he puts himself first, but so do I,
- 9:10Speaker 1: so does everybody every once in a while. Oh my god,
- 9:13Speaker 1: miss me.
- 9:13Speaker 2: With that, she feels like she's the worst. It kind
- 9:16Speaker 2: of feels like she thinks that she's being so profound
- 9:19Speaker 2: by saying that. No, I see all sides of it.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and so diploma.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Everyone can be kind of selfish. Sometimes it's like, no,
- 9:25Speaker 2: it's not what we're saying. We're saying that Cody objectively
- 9:28Speaker 2: always puts himself first.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was, as a matter of fact, abusive
- 9:33Speaker 1: to his wives. Yeah, at least on television, we saw
- 9:36Speaker 1: him be verbally and emotionally abusive to his wives and
- 9:39Speaker 1: to his children. Hello. And so if you want to
- 9:41Speaker 1: be some sort of paragon of values and what women
- 9:44Speaker 1: should be doing in terms of advocating for themselves, then
- 9:47Speaker 1: call the crap out honestly.
- 9:49Speaker 2: But she can't do.
- 9:50Speaker 1: It, which is why I don't trust her. Me neither,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and that she's worthied of.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I don't think so talk about trusting how she said
- 9:56Speaker 2: last episode, I don't know who to trust. I can't
- 9:58Speaker 2: trust you.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Everybody can trust her, God, nobody can trust her.
- 10:01Speaker 2: And then we have Christine saying that she was never
- 10:04Speaker 2: really respected from Cody or by Cody as a wife,
- 10:08Speaker 2: as a mother, as a person, and Cody was calling
- 10:10Speaker 2: her a shitter wife instead of sister shy.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That's a crazy Was that a joke? I don't think
- 10:20Speaker 1: is he walking around calling them sh It's kind of funny,
- 10:26Speaker 1: but terrible, very bad. But do we think that back
- 10:30Speaker 1: in the day, like during Lehigh and certainly in the
- 10:33Speaker 1: beginning when they moved to Vegas, that Cody really didn't
- 10:37Speaker 1: value her for being a mom and taking care of
- 10:40Speaker 1: all of his whole mess of kids.
- 10:42Speaker 2: It's hard to say, because I feel like if Cody
- 10:45Speaker 2: was the same person that we see now back then,
- 10:48Speaker 2: even slightly, I could see him not really respecting her.
- 10:51Speaker 2: But like, at the same time, I wonder if Christine's
- 10:54Speaker 2: just painting it bad because like their whole marriage was bad.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Maybe that's the case. But at the same time, Christine
- 11:02Speaker 2: was the basement wife, so maybe she wasn't really respected
- 11:05Speaker 2: because she was the one stuck in the basement and
- 11:08Speaker 2: forced to take care of all the kids and homeschool
- 11:11Speaker 2: them and everything.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I just I find it kind
- 11:15Speaker 1: of hard to believe that he never valued her, or
- 11:18Speaker 1: that he never worked for the family and worked to
- 11:20Speaker 1: please his wives. I think once Robin entered the scene,
- 11:24Speaker 1: that is when everything shifted. Yeah, that is when things
- 11:26Speaker 1: got bad, and all of the marriage is zilla except
- 11:28Speaker 1: for Robinson.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, agreed. And then the last part of this section
- 11:32Speaker 2: was Cody talking about how he was mean to the
- 11:35Speaker 2: og wives only as a reaction to them being did
- 11:39Speaker 2: not believe it was Counterpunchy was.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Saying that like that it was reactive abuse, Like I'm
- 11:48Speaker 1: being abused by these women who were trashing me on TV,
- 11:52Speaker 1: and so of course I'm going to react to that.
- 11:54Speaker 2: No, you're the one.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Who did the knife and the kidneys. Christine is sitting
- 11:58Speaker 1: there peaceible, saying nothing, and you're the one screaming.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah, we saw all.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Of those meetings you had with her at the big
- 12:04Speaker 1: Mormon conference table negotiating your divorce. She was eminently respectful.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Yep.
- 12:09Speaker 1: She didn't ask for hardly anything but what she put
- 12:11Speaker 1: into her own house in order to leave. Like, what
- 12:14Speaker 1: are you talking about the only person who started the
- 12:16Speaker 1: campaign against the wives and the kids who you called
- 12:20Speaker 1: assholes by Yeah, how you called your son's assholes and
- 12:24Speaker 1: you've called out Maddie, that's you. Yeah, none of that
- 12:27Speaker 1: was reactive. I just couldn't believe it. And I think
- 12:29Speaker 1: Robin said something somewhere in this episode as well, like
- 12:33Speaker 1: that her family was taken from her. Yes, I'm like
- 12:37Speaker 1: that the family and the dream was taken from you. No,
- 12:41Speaker 1: you destroyed it. You had a hand in dismantling it.
- 12:45Speaker 1: But the language that they used to describe what's happened
- 12:49Speaker 1: when we've all seen it is just so wild and
- 12:52Speaker 1: disturbing to me.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Oh, they're like straight up delusional. Like when he's saying this,
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'm like, are you for real right now? Like that's
- 12:59Speaker 2: how you person this situation? Like are we gonna forget
- 13:02Speaker 2: about the fact that you told Christine that she was
- 13:04Speaker 2: repulsive when she ate nachos and that you were never
- 13:06Speaker 2: physically attracted to her and that you didn't want to
- 13:08Speaker 2: have any intimacy with her whatsoever. But that's not mean.
- 13:12Speaker 2: That's just you telling her the truth that you're gonna
- 13:15Speaker 2: cut off an intimate marriage with her, and then she
- 13:17Speaker 2: leaves you, and that's mean. So now it justifies you
- 13:21Speaker 2: screaming at her and saying all this bullshit for the
- 13:23Speaker 2: last couple of seasons, and I think Robin said at
- 13:26Speaker 2: some point, like, you know, I feel like really bad
- 13:29Speaker 2: because the world only gets to see this one version
- 13:31Speaker 2: of Cody, which is this mean version, and it's the
- 13:34Speaker 2: worst version of him, you know, but he's actually like
- 13:36Speaker 2: a good guy though, right, Like okay, miss me with that.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Well, I think she was trying to say that for
- 13:43Speaker 1: the last three to four years specifically, like this version
- 13:47Speaker 1: of Cody has been like who people have been seeing,
- 13:50Speaker 1: but that that's not who he is. Like he's the
- 13:52Speaker 1: Cody from way back in the day. Sure now emerging
- 13:55Speaker 1: from his angry season, his mannosphere hate, and he's starting
- 14:00Speaker 1: to be happy again. So but I'm just like, yeah, no, yeah, whatever.
- 14:04Speaker 1: He's always been problematic, and.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I feel like somebody talked to him. I feel like
- 14:09Speaker 2: somebody in production talked to him about how he came
- 14:11Speaker 2: off the last couple of seasons. Was like, dude, they
- 14:14Speaker 2: pulled a scandalal and like, hey, we have to rehab
- 14:16Speaker 2: your image a little bit, right, right, let's kind of
- 14:18Speaker 2: turn the tide so that way people stop hating you
- 14:21Speaker 2: because you're actually insane. But I don't know, I just
- 14:25Speaker 2: couldn't believe he said that. I was really mean because
- 14:27Speaker 2: they were mean to me.
- 14:28Speaker 1: For he and Janelle is the Ariana Maddox in this
- 14:31Speaker 1: scenario because she's just like, I just don't care, like
- 14:34Speaker 1: at all, don't I'm just gonna walk out in this
- 14:36Speaker 1: entire situation. I'm not going to comment on it. Like whatever,
- 14:39Speaker 1: they can do, whatever they want to do. I'm over
- 14:41Speaker 1: here living my best life with my farm on farmers
- 14:44Speaker 1: only dot com or whatever, and I'm good, yes, And
- 14:46Speaker 1: I'm a sexual earth mama girl, I'm a Taurus. Has
- 14:50Speaker 1: she been watching us?
- 14:51Speaker 2: I feel like watching I kind of felt like.
- 14:54Speaker 1: It, and we have been out here saying that she
- 14:57Speaker 1: does give some sensual sl and she's got that Taurus
- 15:01Speaker 1: sensuality governed by venus. Yeah I get it. Oh yeah,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I get what she was putting down.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I loved that She's like, I'm a Taurus. I'm an
- 15:08Speaker 2: earth mama. I love everything earthy food, one sex. I'm like, yes, girl,
- 15:13Speaker 2: me more. Oh my god, find yourself a real man.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Get your back blown out.
- 15:18Speaker 1: And she's talking about watching her kids who are married
- 15:21Speaker 1: and the relationships that they have and how the husbands
- 15:25Speaker 1: and she must be referring to Caleb. How Caleb dotes
- 15:28Speaker 1: on Maddie and how they're so connected, and she's like,
- 15:30Speaker 1: you know, maybe I'm ready for a relationship like that.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I would love to see that me too. I would
- 15:35Speaker 2: love to see Janelle's dating journey instead of talking about
- 15:40Speaker 2: Cody and Robin and when they first met, because that's
- 15:42Speaker 2: the next clip that we get to where we go
- 15:45Speaker 2: to that stupid date in the addict of Josephine's Beastroom, right,
- 15:50Speaker 2: and Cody and Robin are recounting their love story and
- 15:53Speaker 2: the lightning bolts that they felt in both of their
- 15:55Speaker 2: pussies and now they just fell for each other instantly.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Cody starts crying watching the clip back.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I hate him so much. I feel like he's performative emotions. Yes,
- 16:07Speaker 1: oh my god.
- 16:08Speaker 2: I was just like, I feel like he does that
- 16:10Speaker 2: just so maybe we think that he's a human being
- 16:13Speaker 2: right with feelings. I think so, And I'm like, I don't.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I don't think of you as a human being. I
- 16:19Speaker 2: think you're a demon possessed, balding, saggy balls.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Piece of shit, a piece of shit.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Leyton Topin's homosexual.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Maybe probably end when we talk about it, because he
- 16:31Speaker 1: referred to it as his sexuality. I don't want to
- 16:34Speaker 1: talk about my sexuality.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Ain't nobody talking about his sexuality when you're talking about
- 16:38Speaker 3: your sexual experience. I caught that you're the one who
- 16:40Speaker 3: said you had them. And when he comes back the
- 16:43Speaker 3: next day, I guess, presumably to talk to Suki. Yeah,
- 16:45Speaker 3: all of a sudden about his sexuality and it was
- 16:47Speaker 3: a dangerous unsafe topic to discuss, Like, why is this
- 16:51Speaker 3: so unsafe.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Because you had a homosexual experience.
- 16:54Speaker 1: And he did say that they thought his high school
- 16:57Speaker 1: friends thought he was not just gay flamboyantly gay, flamboyantly
- 17:03Speaker 1: gay in high school.
- 17:04Speaker 2: That means Robin probably pigs him. I've been saying I.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Feel and there's no shame in that. And if they
- 17:10Speaker 1: like that, I love that great, I guess. But yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 1: I was just like, oh, that was an interesting turn
- 17:15Speaker 1: of phrase.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I saw that I heard.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I was like, did you pick up on that?
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yes, I'm like you gay. And we've had several people
- 17:22Speaker 2: comment on YouTube saying the same thing that they think
- 17:24Speaker 2: Cody's gay.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Okay, I mean a little bit around the edges.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, at the very least bisex sicoal, Yeah, a
- 17:31Speaker 2: little bi curious. Sure, I don't know, but he's taught
- 17:34Speaker 2: he talks about in this clip at Josephine's Bistro, back
- 17:38Speaker 2: to how he told Robin like within a month of
- 17:41Speaker 2: dating about his college gay sex experience because she was
- 17:45Speaker 2: so trustworthy and she what did he say? Laid him
- 17:50Speaker 2: down in a rose garden of trust.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I immediately started drawing up merch on our canva. Did
- 17:58Speaker 1: you see it?
- 17:58Speaker 2: I saw it.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It's a big at raccoon in the rose garden and
- 18:01Speaker 1: it's the rose Garden of trash, Like we need that shirt.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I hate it so much for real. Yeah, So I
- 18:10Speaker 1: just thought that he was being so ridiculous, and I
- 18:15Speaker 1: think Janelle addresses it in this episode when she talks
- 18:18Speaker 1: about how extra he's being. Why, Like, what's he getting
- 18:22Speaker 1: out of talking about these subjects? Like previously, he never
- 18:26Speaker 1: wanted to talk about sex, never want to talk about money,
- 18:28Speaker 1: But here he is talking about both of these things,
- 18:31Speaker 1: and for what reason? To show us just how much
- 18:34Speaker 1: he loves Robin and how real their union is, therefore
- 18:38Speaker 1: maybe validating why he threw his entire rest of his
- 18:41Speaker 1: family away. Yep, that makes sense to me.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Oh, I think Janelle's clocking him every time she makes
- 18:47Speaker 2: a comment. I feel like she's right on the nose,
- 18:49Speaker 2: because I think she said something like he says all
- 18:52Speaker 2: of this shit about how Robin was safe and how
- 18:54Speaker 2: the OG three were not safe and he couldn't be
- 18:57Speaker 2: vulnerable with them because they were so unsafe, and how
- 19:00Speaker 2: it was all bullshit that he's just making up because
- 19:02Speaker 2: he's just trying to justify all the reasons why Robin
- 19:05Speaker 2: is so perfect. And I thought that was kind of
- 19:07Speaker 2: an interesting like phrase, because maybe Cody doesn't think Robin's
- 19:13Speaker 2: like super perfect, but she's the only one that's left.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm conflicted on that because I do
- 19:20Speaker 1: think he is one hundred percent sprung for her. Yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 1: I think he is in love with her, but I
- 19:26Speaker 1: don't necessarily buy into their meat cute and how that
- 19:31Speaker 1: went down. And furthermore, like somebody correct me if I'm wrong,
- 19:33Speaker 1: I could a swore in season one, which we have
- 19:36Speaker 1: covered in our rewind like Mary was the one who
- 19:39Speaker 1: said and like Cody and Mary talked about the fact
- 19:41Speaker 1: that Mary introduced Robin to Cody and yeah, my friends,
- 19:46Speaker 1: and I thought that I thought that that was established,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and now we have Mary saying I never introduced them.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's like people are just making that up
- 19:54Speaker 2: in the Twitter sphere, and I'm like, what do you mean.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Absolutely not it.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I feel like you asked about it. Yeah. Well, and
- 19:59Speaker 2: it's like the the way that they're recounting it is
- 20:01Speaker 2: so weird. Like Cody talks about his lightning bolt and
- 20:03Speaker 2: his pussy when he saw Robin at church, but they
- 20:07Speaker 2: didn't actually meet. They just saw each other from like
- 20:10Speaker 2: opposite side of the room.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And then and he stared at her like in a
- 20:14Speaker 1: trance with a heart on, like just watching her, a
- 20:18Speaker 1: little noodle on, just watching her, and she was looking
- 20:21Speaker 1: at him, and then she had to look away because
- 20:23Speaker 1: he was being a pred and that was scary.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yeah, And so they didn't actually talk. Yeah, that's when
- 20:29Speaker 1: apparently Robin got her lightning bolt, and clearly Cody got his.
- 20:34Speaker 1: But it wasn't until some other time when him and
- 20:37Speaker 1: Mary were in a car and they were on the
- 20:39Speaker 1: side of the road or something like that, Robin and
- 20:42Speaker 1: her cousin and her cousin's husband or something.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Something like that. But then they said that they met
- 20:47Speaker 2: at a dance.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Well, I mean, but they were talking on the side
- 20:50Speaker 1: of the road, and Cody's like, yeah, I didn't really
- 20:53Speaker 1: speak to her because I was a little bit embarrassed.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Completely was in a trance because of her beauty. I
- 20:57Speaker 1: was dissociating it was in the fifth dimension with you
- 21:00Speaker 1: because of the beauty of it at all. So I
- 21:02Speaker 1: didn't say anything. And then at some other point there
- 21:05Speaker 1: was a church.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Dance that they all went to.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Is anybody else curious, like what kind of music they're
- 21:11Speaker 1: listening to? You at a Mormon church dance?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Mormon hymns?
- 21:16Speaker 1: No Mormons have him of course? Oh yeah, okay, but
- 21:20Speaker 1: like really what kind of means?
- 21:21Speaker 2: I don't know, because.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Then he goes on to like quote the dance by
- 21:25Speaker 1: Garth Brooks at some point like maybe it.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Was Oh yeah, I was just trying to envision it.
- 21:29Speaker 1: It was very strange.
- 21:31Speaker 2: The kids bought version of Garth Brooks song.
- 21:33Speaker 1: But like, also, did Cody say at one point like
- 21:36Speaker 1: Robin actually gave him the ick because she was married,
- 21:40Speaker 1: oh yeah and had divorced. Like he was not interested
- 21:44Speaker 1: in the least adag Yeah, I thought, he said. And
- 21:49Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, so now what about what you said
- 21:52Speaker 1: all those seasons ago? Is all of that just a lie?
- 21:54Speaker 1: Or are you lying now? Make it makes sense.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I mean, all of it I think is a lie
- 21:58Speaker 2: because they, like Christine said, they were so in love
- 22:00Speaker 2: they had to hide it. So what else were they hiding?
- 22:03Speaker 2: And then they had this long courtship of a year,
- 22:06Speaker 2: which Janelle comments on, and this is where she says,
- 22:08Speaker 2: we've seen it already in the brevious, that if she
- 22:11Speaker 2: had a year long courtship with Cody, she probably wouldn't
- 22:14Speaker 2: have married him, and that a married man having a
- 22:17Speaker 2: year long courtship is not necessarily appropriate. But they still
- 22:20Speaker 2: did it anyway, and Christine even makes the assumption like, well,
- 22:24Speaker 2: what else were they doing? He was very comfortable at
- 22:27Speaker 2: her house, even in her bedroom, and so maybe they
- 22:29Speaker 2: fucked before marriage. I'm paraphrasing, but it's basically what Christine said.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So where do we land with that? Do we think
- 22:36Speaker 1: that they were sexually intimate before they actually had this ceremony? Yes,
- 22:40Speaker 1: because when they panned to Robin and Suki has the
- 22:43Speaker 1: nerve to ask her whether she had sex before marriage
- 22:45Speaker 1: with Cody, Yeah, Rob is like, absolutely not. I mean,
- 22:48Speaker 1: all we did was church kiss. There was nothing there.
- 22:52Speaker 2: She's such a liar, I don't know.
- 22:53Speaker 1: She seemed kind of convincing to me. Like she was
- 22:55Speaker 1: so taken aback that anybody would ever question that. But
- 22:58Speaker 1: then I go back through the rolodex of my mind
- 23:01Speaker 1: to season one during the wedding where she and Cody
- 23:05Speaker 1: pick out the wedding dress and pretend that she's going
- 23:08Speaker 1: to go shopping with the other wives, and everything is
- 23:11Speaker 1: a lie.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Yep, So I think she was lying.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Yeah. And her engagement photo with Cody, like she is,
- 23:17Speaker 1: she got that pushing it up against that nck. She
- 23:20Speaker 1: pressed into the neck of that man as if they
- 23:24Speaker 1: were acquainted one with the.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Other, And Christine says that too. She's like they were
- 23:28Speaker 2: awfully comfy in their engagement photos. So yeah, I think
- 23:32Speaker 2: Robin has just been saying that lie for the what
- 23:35Speaker 2: last twelve thirteen years that they've been together, So I
- 23:38Speaker 2: think she's good at lying it. But they one hundred
- 23:41Speaker 2: percent we're fucking before marriage, right.
- 23:44Speaker 1: And this is where Christine I think is right and
- 23:47Speaker 1: is very believable when she's like they have to hide it,
- 23:50Speaker 1: and she has said in the past during these tellaws
- 23:53Speaker 1: that yeah, Cody I think fell in love yeah, and
- 23:56Speaker 1: did not really know what that felt like until he
- 23:58Speaker 1: met Robin. But because they were in the family that
- 24:02Speaker 1: they were in and now they had a television show
- 24:04Speaker 1: on top of that, they had to hide it. But
- 24:07Speaker 1: that's a lie. Yeah, And you didn't tell the truth
- 24:10Speaker 1: about the scope and the scale of your feelings, and
- 24:12Speaker 1: you led me on and then you turned off the
- 24:14Speaker 1: intimacy and you didn't respect the things that I was
- 24:16Speaker 1: bringing it into the family, And that's a lie. So
- 24:20Speaker 1: it's just betrayal after betrayal after betrayal. But exactly Cody
- 24:24Speaker 1: and Robin cannot not just acknowledge that. They can't even
- 24:28Speaker 1: admit that, No, they can't even approach admitting to that.
- 24:31Speaker 2: No. In fact, Cody talks about all of this stuff
- 24:34Speaker 2: we're saying as just being internet bs that everybody's saying
- 24:38Speaker 2: that we had the intentions of only being together as
- 24:40Speaker 2: just a bunch of drama. There was no real intent
- 24:45Speaker 2: to do that or just to be with each other.
- 24:47Speaker 2: But we fell in love. And then he goes on
- 24:49Speaker 2: to say that polygamy doesn't work if you actually fall
- 24:53Speaker 2: in love, and he fell in love hard, and so
- 24:55Speaker 2: it's like he's admitting it without really admitting it, and
- 24:59Speaker 2: that's what's so annoying about it, Like, why, yeah, you
- 25:01Speaker 2: just say that you fell out of love the second
- 25:04Speaker 2: you met Robin. With all the other wives, you could
- 25:07Speaker 2: have released them back then, but you wanted the money,
- 25:10Speaker 2: you wanted the show, you wanted the big houses in
- 25:12Speaker 2: the cul de Sac, and you, I guess you tried
- 25:14Speaker 2: to make it work, but like you didn't know.
- 25:17Speaker 1: And he can't admit that it was Robin that changed everything.
- 25:20Speaker 1: And so this is why he says something like, well,
- 25:22Speaker 1: with Mary, it did start off as a love match
- 25:26Speaker 1: and a love connection, and it was very sweet and romantic,
- 25:29Speaker 1: but it died by like a thousand paper cuts or
- 25:31Speaker 1: whatever you set like something like again shifting the blame
- 25:34Speaker 1: back onto them. But really he's blaming Mary and their
- 25:37Speaker 1: behavior for the reason that their marriage didn't work, and
- 25:39Speaker 1: not Robin. And that's where he needs to be honest
- 25:42Speaker 1: and truthful, and honestly, I wouldn't care, Like if you
- 25:44Speaker 1: just came out and said, yeah, it was a thunderbolt
- 25:47Speaker 1: ride him a pussy yeah, And I just I could
- 25:49Speaker 1: not I could not even consider my other wives the
- 25:52Speaker 1: same anymore, Like everything changed on that day. Like if
- 25:56Speaker 1: you could admit that, I could accept that, and I
- 25:58Speaker 1: think for the other women and the kids could act.
- 26:00Speaker 1: But it's the fact that you just lie over and
- 26:04Speaker 1: over and over again, and you have the temerity to
- 26:07Speaker 1: do so while there is a visual record of you
- 26:10Speaker 1: doing the things you said you didn't do. It's crazy,
- 26:12Speaker 1: it's so, it's crazy making. It's a gas lighting, all yes.
- 26:17Speaker 2: With Robin. It's like, why don't you just say it,
- 26:19Speaker 2: Why don't you just say that you knew you had
- 26:21Speaker 2: him ninety nine percent of the time and that you
- 26:23Speaker 2: understand why the other women felt like they were abandoned,
- 26:27Speaker 2: Like you just don't care. You only care about your money.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Do you think like that would make you look worse
- 26:32Speaker 1: than what you're doing in order to cover up the
- 26:34Speaker 1: fact that he was with you all the time, which
- 26:36Speaker 1: everybody already knows. Right, It's the thing, It doesn't make
- 26:39Speaker 1: any sense.
- 26:40Speaker 2: It's like, I don't understand how they think, Like I
- 26:43Speaker 2: wonder if they actually believe all the lies that they're saying,
- 26:46Speaker 2: If they're like so in denial about the fact that
- 26:48Speaker 2: they just fell in love with each other, you think
- 26:50Speaker 2: they're just lying.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I think they know that they're lying. Yes, then what
- 26:53Speaker 1: and nobody's stopping them? And that's the thing they can
- 26:56Speaker 1: do that with impunity. Nobody's rolling the tapes so Kia's
- 26:59Speaker 1: not call them about Sukiana hasn't even watched the seasons, right,
- 27:03Speaker 1: she didn't even know that Cody was a wrestler or
- 27:05Speaker 1: like what kind of athletics he did. Like, there's a
- 27:07Speaker 1: lot of things that she just doesn't know in the
- 27:10Speaker 1: in the canon of Sister Wives, and so she can't
- 27:12Speaker 1: retort with something salient and say, well, what about this?
- 27:15Speaker 1: What about that? And so nobody ever does. And you
- 27:17Speaker 1: even hear him at the end of this episode telling
- 27:20Speaker 1: everybody to turn off the cameras, cut the camera.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I know.
- 27:23Speaker 1: So is he in charge of production? Why is production
- 27:26Speaker 1: just doing what the fuck Cody's telling them to do.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Why doesn't anybody push back? Because I'm telling you right now,
- 27:32Speaker 1: this is all he has, sister does all Cody and
- 27:36Speaker 1: Robin have? Sure, so you could absolutely push back. Why
- 27:40Speaker 1: aren't we doing that? I thought we got a new
- 27:42Speaker 1: production house or like a new person in charge of
- 27:44Speaker 1: the production house. It's like, where is the change? Why
- 27:47Speaker 1: are we continuing to coddle this man? And he was
- 27:51Speaker 1: triggering me, Beatrice with the way he was looking at Sukian. Oh,
- 27:55Speaker 1: there is something about it that reminded me of my
- 27:58Speaker 1: abusive father. Just like the he slows down and turns
- 28:02Speaker 1: and very threateningly looks at her and says, I'm not
- 28:06Speaker 1: talking about that anymore. Yeah, I'm just like, there is
- 28:10Speaker 1: a verbal threat, yep, and it's menacing to me. And
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm sure that he wasn't physically threatening her in the moment,
- 28:18Speaker 1: But I wonder about how he conducts himself behind the scenes.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, in his various marriages and even with Robin,
- 28:25Speaker 1: I'm like, you're scary. There's parts of you that are
- 28:27Speaker 1: scaring me.
- 28:29Speaker 2: It's really freaking weird that production and Suki are like
- 28:34Speaker 2: I don't want to say that they're scared of him,
- 28:36Speaker 2: but they just placate him a lot. And I'm like,
- 28:38Speaker 2: why aren't we buying him? Like why are we even
- 28:40Speaker 2: allowing him to say I'm not going to answer that
- 28:43Speaker 2: or not going to talk about that. If he wants
- 28:45Speaker 2: to get up off set and leave and not get
- 28:48Speaker 2: paid for two other tellols let him fucking go because
- 28:51Speaker 2: I don't show his character. I don't know why we
- 28:53Speaker 2: have to like keep him on or like try and
- 28:57Speaker 2: be nice and say thank you for your account on
- 29:00Speaker 2: ability when he gave absolutely none.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Like, honestly, where's the value added? With Cody and Robin
- 29:06Speaker 1: because they don't tell the truth. They just obstruct and obfuscate,
- 29:11Speaker 1: like they screw up the timeline. They confuse the audience
- 29:14Speaker 1: because they're telling us that something didn't happen that we
- 29:17Speaker 1: already watched happen. And so what are they actually adding
- 29:21Speaker 1: to the story of Sister Wives at this point? Why
- 29:24Speaker 1: couldn't we just get rid of them or have them
- 29:27Speaker 1: be friends of like they do on the Bravo shows
- 29:29Speaker 1: and the Real Housewives. Robin can be a friend of
- 29:32Speaker 1: no one, Cody can be a friend of I don't know.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Is there a kid there's still who is she be
- 29:38Speaker 1: a friend of Mary's. Yes, he can travel to Parawan
- 29:40Speaker 1: every once in a while, and we can see what's
- 29:42Speaker 1: going on with Cody. But like they do not have
- 29:44Speaker 1: to be major cast members in the show. Get rid
- 29:47Speaker 1: of them.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I know. It's so weird. And I noticed his comment
- 29:50Speaker 2: at the end where he's like, cut the cameras, and
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'm like, are you just saying that to feel like
- 29:54Speaker 2: you're a big man, like you're the director, but you
- 29:57Speaker 2: actually aren't, like nobody's listening to you.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Well, they did, they cut the They do listen to
- 30:01Speaker 1: him and that's the question. Why why they do though, well,
- 30:04Speaker 1: and you know that they do because they don't challenge
- 30:07Speaker 1: him ever. And he is so puffed up with the
- 30:10Speaker 1: power of that he understands. Ain't nobody going to be
- 30:12Speaker 1: pushing him around. He can get away with whatever he
- 30:15Speaker 1: can try and front with Suki like this, and nobody's
- 30:20Speaker 1: going to do anything about it, And so he does it.
- 30:23Speaker 1: He doesn't have moral character, He doesn't have virtue in
- 30:26Speaker 1: my personal opinion, to talk to a woman like that
- 30:30Speaker 1: and to stare at a woman like that, to lean forward.
- 30:34Speaker 1: And he did it last year. He did and nobody
- 30:36Speaker 1: talked to him last year when he did it.
- 30:38Speaker 2: No, I know he's comfortable to just do.
- 30:39Speaker 1: It again this year. Oh my God, give me five
- 30:41Speaker 1: minutes with that small little man. Give me five.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Minutes with that small little bab you would be I.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Will teach him a lesson. I will teach that man
- 30:50Speaker 1: a lesson. I wouldn't be scared to do so. God,
- 30:53Speaker 1: And I just feel it's on the tip of Suki's tongue.
- 30:57Speaker 1: But she's a smart woman. I actually went on her
- 30:59Speaker 1: Instagram to because I wanted to see if there was
- 31:02Speaker 1: any new posts from her, because she hadn't posted pretty
- 31:06Speaker 1: much at all through thee she got so much hate, right,
- 31:09Speaker 1: but there were a couple of clips from her interview
- 31:11Speaker 1: with Sarah Frasier, and then there were people on the
- 31:14Speaker 1: posts just kind of slamming her, like why didn't you
- 31:17Speaker 1: ask her? Why didn't you ask them the questions? Why
- 31:20Speaker 1: don't you know what you're talking about? And I just
- 31:22Speaker 1: left her a message and said, hey, I think you
- 31:24Speaker 1: did a good job. I know it must have been
- 31:26Speaker 1: very difficult to have to finesse this interview employee strategy
- 31:32Speaker 1: just to get them to say anything like you did
- 31:34Speaker 1: a good job and thank you very much, because I
- 31:36Speaker 1: just feel like, what a thankless job Suki has.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I mean really though, And like I'm of two minds
- 31:42Speaker 2: with Suki. It's like I get that you have to
- 31:44Speaker 2: tread lightly with these narcissistic demons like Robin and Cody,
- 31:48Speaker 2: I understand, And like maybe she's held to a certain
- 31:53Speaker 2: contract with production too, like maybe they're like you can't
- 31:55Speaker 2: ask him certain things or you can't do these kinds
- 31:57Speaker 2: of things. I get that it's difficult. Well, it's just
- 32:00Speaker 2: so fucking frustrating to watch it, and I just don't
- 32:03Speaker 2: understand why Production does this, and like, why we are
- 32:06Speaker 2: being so kind to Cody and Robin, Like when everyone
- 32:09Speaker 2: in the entire world hates them, like every single I
- 32:12Speaker 2: don't think there's anybody that's like, you know what, I
- 32:14Speaker 2: think Rabbit's a good person.
- 32:15Speaker 1: And yeah, and they're hated bulls. Yeah, and their actions
- 32:18Speaker 1: have they become hatterable people. Right, It's not like we
- 32:21Speaker 1: hate them in a vacuum. It's they've done terrible, despicable things.
- 32:25Speaker 2: That we're not addressing to their family, and.
- 32:27Speaker 1: We're just not able to talk about any of it.
- 32:29Speaker 1: And if we do, they're just gonna lie about it
- 32:31Speaker 1: and we're not going to challenge them.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy. Well, and it's like with Cody getting
- 32:36Speaker 2: mad at Suki for asking him about his homosexuality, and like,
- 32:39Speaker 2: you're the one that problems up, dude. I think you're
- 32:41Speaker 2: the one that talked about your college gay sex experience, right, didn't.
- 32:44Speaker 1: He gets so angry because he frames it as some
- 32:47Speaker 1: sort of a trap, like she was asking inappropriate questions
- 32:51Speaker 1: and he was so kind to be generous and give
- 32:54Speaker 1: her some information, but like she kept pressing it and
- 32:56Speaker 1: he's really angry about it. I'm just like, get over yourself, dude, Honest,
- 33:00Speaker 1: you're the one who's mentioned before that you had a
- 33:03Speaker 1: pre marital relationship in college or whatever. Did he even
- 33:05Speaker 1: go to college? Did he go to college? Maybe associates, okay,
- 33:09Speaker 1: but whatever. But you're the one who've already entered into
- 33:12Speaker 1: evidence that bit of information.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:15Speaker 1: So I don't know why you're so upset about it.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I don't understand it. You're the one that brought out
- 33:19Speaker 2: the story, but then you don't want people to ask
- 33:21Speaker 2: you about it.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Maybe because if we dig a little deeper, maybe we
- 33:23Speaker 1: can find out who it was that you actually had
- 33:26Speaker 1: a pre marital affair with. And what if it's a bead,
- 33:28Speaker 1: it probably it probably is juice.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I would love to know.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Good.
- 33:34Speaker 2: You imagine if Harry actually is a man out there
- 33:37Speaker 2: that like fucked Cody Brown, he's just like sitting on
- 33:39Speaker 2: that secret, just waiting for the perfect time to talk
- 33:43Speaker 2: about it. I would love that.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Yeah. I would love it as well. And it would
- 33:48Speaker 1: be perfect karma for him because I do believe that
- 33:51Speaker 1: he never told Christine and Janelle about that pre marital
- 33:55Speaker 1: affair because it was an ego thing, like he didn't
- 33:59Speaker 1: want to bring shame upon himself or show himself to
- 34:03Speaker 1: Janelle and Christine as if he didn't have the appropriate
- 34:05Speaker 1: Mormon values, right, So that's why he didn't.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Do it well. And it would make sense because Janelle
- 34:10Speaker 2: and Christine were like pretty heavy in the faith, I mean,
- 34:12Speaker 2: not that.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Mary was married before those well yeah, and she had
- 34:15Speaker 1: gotten a deep dick in from from Mary's brother. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 1: she really.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Would have been fine with yeah, but that's it was
- 34:23Speaker 2: kind of interesting that he says this, and he's like, oh,
- 34:25Speaker 2: I didn't tell the otherwise because they weren't safe. Because
- 34:27Speaker 2: Christine talks about how she felt like that was a
- 34:30Speaker 2: big betrayal, like just another one to add to the list,
- 34:33Speaker 2: because apparently after twenty seven years of marriage, like I
- 34:36Speaker 2: was just not safe, Like I don't know what I
- 34:39Speaker 2: did to not be safe. And it's just like, well,
- 34:40Speaker 2: Cody didn't love you, Like that's just what it is.
- 34:44Speaker 1: He didn't care, he didn't care about and he neglected you.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Ye.
- 34:48Speaker 1: By the time we meet you Christine in season one,
- 34:51Speaker 1: he's neglecting you and he's not sharing about you at all.
- 34:54Speaker 1: And maybe he was a great husband before, but we
- 34:56Speaker 1: just never saw this is the only relationship we've ever seen.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Even then, I questioned how good he was because he
- 35:02Speaker 2: was like the first guy she was ever really with,
- 35:04Speaker 2: so she didn't have any other frame of reference. He
- 35:07Speaker 2: probably was doing the absolute bare minimum. I thought it
- 35:09Speaker 2: were fine, yep, and it's sad. And then we get
- 35:12Speaker 2: to the last clip of the episode, which is about
- 35:15Speaker 2: the Sedona marriage retreat, and then Suki asks the dumb
- 35:19Speaker 2: fucking question, the dumbest question to ask you.
- 35:24Speaker 1: No, First, she asked, Christine, are you happier now or
- 35:27Speaker 1: were you happier then in the season that you went
- 35:30Speaker 1: to Sedona and had to get in your circle and
- 35:32Speaker 1: tell everybody that you were completely disconnected from her husband
- 35:36Speaker 1: and unloved truly, like, are you happier now? Obviously? Yes,
- 35:41Speaker 1: I'm happier now. I'm monogamous and married to David. He
- 35:44Speaker 1: breaks my back, he blows my back out. He blows
- 35:47Speaker 1: my backout. Sorry, I'm tired, he blows my back out.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I'm financially independent. I have like four homes or would
- 35:54Speaker 1: have I lost forty pounds, I'm in great shape and
- 35:59Speaker 1: I'm in my life. I got a titty tattoo. That's
- 36:01Speaker 1: a dumb question, Suki.
- 36:03Speaker 2: So I'm just like, why are we even asking, right?
- 36:05Speaker 2: So stupid to like waste the last like twenty minutes
- 36:08Speaker 2: of the episode, like, are you happy we live polygamy again? Janelle?
- 36:11Speaker 2: Are you open to polygamy? Mary? Are you open to polygamy?
- 36:16Speaker 1: We've already asked good questions.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Robin, are you open tot polygamy? Right? And it's like
- 36:20Speaker 2: all the same answers that we've already said, Like Mary
- 36:23Speaker 2: will never do it again because she's gonna be monogamous.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Although she believes that polygamy can work in the right situation.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Yep. Janelle says she's kind of open to it, but
- 36:31Speaker 2: then she looks at her monogamous you know kids and
- 36:35Speaker 2: their marriages, and it's like, oh, yeah, maybe I want that. Yeah,
- 36:38Speaker 2: maybe I want one man to give me a dig down,
- 36:40Speaker 2: right and only that. And then Robin is like, well,
- 36:44Speaker 2: I'll only do it if I get a crazy guarantee
- 36:46Speaker 2: that it'll work, and then I can siphon all of
- 36:48Speaker 2: the money for my other sister wives and they will
- 36:50Speaker 2: not complain about it, and only if Cody's okay with it,
- 36:53Speaker 2: but he's not okay.
- 36:54Speaker 1: With it, and only if Sister Wives is canceled, unless
- 36:58Speaker 1: Cody considers getting another wife, because if they give us
- 37:02Speaker 1: an ultimatum, then we'll absolutely do it, yeah, or we'll
- 37:04Speaker 1: end up on marriage boot.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Camp exactly, Like could you imagine?
- 37:08Speaker 1: I would love it.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I would love that they still do that. I would
- 37:11Speaker 2: actually watch that.
- 37:12Speaker 1: If it was Cody, we would recap it. He would
- 37:15Speaker 1: all be in the dumpster together, be so good.
- 37:18Speaker 2: And then Cody talks about they talk about like if
- 37:20Speaker 2: Cody and Robin ever break up, that they would never
- 37:24Speaker 2: speak badly of each other because they have so much
- 37:26Speaker 2: deep love for each other.
- 37:27Speaker 1: She would throw him under the bus in a hot minute.
- 37:31Speaker 1: That's like, look what she did to her first husband.
- 37:33Speaker 2: She would take all of your kids and leave. And honestly,
- 37:37Speaker 2: I kind of want that to happen me too. I
- 37:40Speaker 2: don't want to.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Just sit there in Flagstaff in shock, Oh my god,
- 37:45Speaker 1: having lost everything, that big ugly new mansion foreclosed ponds,
- 37:49Speaker 1: Rob skipping out of town with some new aub daddy.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Who you got? You got? Nobody be calling it Mary
- 37:56Speaker 1: in parauad You're dating into Bud and marry so awesome.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Mary would take him back in a heartbeat.
- 38:02Speaker 1: As of this filming of this, tell all, I kind
- 38:05Speaker 1: of feel like she would.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Dude, if Robin left him and he had nobody else,
- 38:09Speaker 2: and no young girl wants to fuck that guy. He
- 38:12Speaker 2: would totally go to Mary, and Mary be like, oh
- 38:14Speaker 2: my god, I've been waiting for this day. Mm hmm,
- 38:17Speaker 2: am I worthy?
- 38:18Speaker 1: Now, Yeah, I.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Don't want to like shit all over Mary, but like
- 38:21Speaker 2: I do this epic of her, I'm just like, I'm
- 38:24Speaker 2: so tired of her defending.
- 38:26Speaker 1: She could have done it so much differently.
- 38:28Speaker 2: She's like trying to like position herself as like, oh,
- 38:31Speaker 2: I'm just like being nice and like I'm being the
- 38:34Speaker 2: bigger person by not talking badly. It's like, but we
- 38:37Speaker 2: want you to talk badly.
- 38:38Speaker 1: We need truth tellers. We need people to expose the hypocrisy.
- 38:42Speaker 1: We need you to be honest. It's very, very important
- 38:45Speaker 1: that you are. But let's keep in mind again we
- 38:47Speaker 1: say that this was filmed in October of last year,
- 38:51Speaker 1: and I think what we had one month of episodes
- 38:54Speaker 1: that were out by that point. Yeah, So when Mary's
- 38:56Speaker 1: filming this, she hasn't seen the entire season like the
- 39:00Speaker 1: rest of us have seen, so she doesn't see all
- 39:02Speaker 1: the other things that Cody has said, to include calling
- 39:05Speaker 1: Jen and her friends bitches and such, which made her
- 39:09Speaker 1: very upset. So maybe that will be the impetus for
- 39:14Speaker 1: us to get like a different Mary with a little
- 39:16Speaker 1: bit of fire in truth Telling for season twenty. But
- 39:19Speaker 1: I highly doubt it because she disappoints us season after
- 39:22Speaker 1: season after season, and I think it's okay to call
- 39:25Speaker 1: it out. Mary, you can do so much better, and
- 39:27Speaker 1: you should.
- 39:29Speaker 2: And the other layer to that is like, maybe she
- 39:31Speaker 2: just needs to get her back.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Look, maybe she needs to meet like a real man,
- 39:36Speaker 1: a good man, good somebody who takes care of her,
- 39:40Speaker 1: puts her first, and she can see what that life
- 39:43Speaker 1: is really like, because did she ever have that with Cody. Yes,
- 39:47Speaker 1: they had young love, maybe they were their first loves,
- 39:50Speaker 1: but she's probably never had that kind of a relationship
- 39:54Speaker 1: that so many of us have been able to enjoy.
- 39:57Speaker 1: So I do think that would in a moment change
- 39:59Speaker 1: her parents.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Oh definitely, because she says in this episode it's been
- 40:03Speaker 2: a very very very very long time since she's gotten
- 40:07Speaker 2: a good deep dicken, And so I'm like, maybe you
- 40:09Speaker 2: need that, because maybe you'll see the light and you'll
- 40:12Speaker 2: realize that simping over Cody Brown is not the.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Look, not at all.
- 40:17Speaker 2: And I guess that's kind of how we ended the
- 40:19Speaker 2: episode with Sukie thanking everybody for their time, and she
- 40:24Speaker 2: really hopes that one day we could do it all
- 40:26Speaker 2: on the same couch with everybody in the same room,
- 40:29Speaker 2: and Cody's like, that's never gonna happen because I'm the director.
- 40:33Speaker 2: And then she thanks Cody for his vulnerability and his
- 40:36Speaker 2: honesty and his accountability, and that shit pisses me off
- 40:40Speaker 2: because I'm like, what honesty? What accountability? He hasn't been
- 40:43Speaker 2: accountable for literally anything, literally, and the.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Name one thing that he was actually accountable for in
- 40:48Speaker 1: this tale all.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Like, I guess he admitted to actually loving Mary back
- 40:53Speaker 2: in the day and he actually did love the OG three,
- 40:57Speaker 2: but that's literally it. Oh And I forgot to mention
- 41:00Speaker 2: that when she asks them, would they do it all
- 41:03Speaker 2: over again?
- 41:04Speaker 1: Right?
- 41:04Speaker 2: Would they do polygamy all over again? Yeah? And Cody
- 41:07Speaker 2: says no. Yeah, he says no, even if I went
- 41:11Speaker 2: back in time, I still wouldn't do it again.
- 41:13Speaker 1: That was wild because I thought when he was saying no,
- 41:16Speaker 1: he was saying I wouldn't do it now, yeah, like
- 41:19Speaker 1: it would never be a polygamist again because I've already
- 41:21Speaker 1: failed it that But like he did say that he
- 41:25Speaker 1: wouldn't do it all over again, didn't.
- 41:27Speaker 2: He Yes, he said I would not do it over again.
- 41:29Speaker 2: And then he backtracks and he's like, but I mean,
- 41:32Speaker 2: I'm grateful for my kids and the experience that I had,
- 41:34Speaker 2: but like, I still would never do it again. And
- 41:36Speaker 2: then he literally calls it a waste of time, Like, okay,
- 41:41Speaker 2: but everybody else is mean though, right when you're talking
- 41:44Speaker 2: about your eighteen children and how that was a waste
- 41:47Speaker 2: of time and how this family that you created with
- 41:51Speaker 2: your sperm and everything was a waste of time and
- 41:54Speaker 2: you wouldn't do it over again.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Well, he was just being reactive. Yeah, we can't blame
- 41:58Speaker 1: him for.
- 41:58Speaker 2: That reactionary abuse because he's a trauma victim.
- 42:01Speaker 1: That's right. Handle him with kid gloves, very gentle with
- 42:06Speaker 1: Cody Brown.
- 42:08Speaker 2: I hate him, man, I hate him and his goblin
- 42:11Speaker 2: wife and I hate them.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I just hate like on our planet right now, just
- 42:17Speaker 1: people getting away with so much horseship, I know, being
- 42:21Speaker 1: like absolute bastards and demons on the planet, and it's
- 42:25Speaker 1: like unchecked, there's no accountability, and I'm like, this is
- 42:28Speaker 1: just metastasized in the form of Cody Brown just getting
- 42:32Speaker 1: away with it and prospering, even though he's a wicked
- 42:36Speaker 1: person and he's treated people deplorably. It's like David crying
- 42:40Speaker 1: out to God, Why Father, Why do the wicked prosper?
- 42:43Speaker 1: And then here I am struggling in the wilderness. That's
- 42:46Speaker 1: how I feel.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Why does coldy Why do they.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Get to prosper? I don't understand. But God is in
- 42:53Speaker 1: charge of all that. Vengeance is mine saith, the lore.
- 42:56Speaker 2: And they don't deserve it, so it will come.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Yes, there's universal checks and balances in play at all times,
- 43:05Speaker 1: so I'm just not going to be upset about it anymore.
- 43:08Speaker 1: I'm going to take this summer off yep with the
- 43:10Speaker 1: rest of you raccoons, enjoy myself. I'm not gonna worry
- 43:13Speaker 1: about these people. You know, it's been ten months that
- 43:17Speaker 1: we've been doing.
- 43:17Speaker 2: This ten ten months, and this season ten months.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Oh did you start in September? I think we did September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June. Bitch, bitch, June, bitch.
- 43:33Speaker 2: This is ridiculous. Ten months with a month long hiatus
- 43:36Speaker 2: in the middle of this season was absolutely way too long.
- 43:40Speaker 2: If season twenty is another thirty episodes. I'm going to scream.
- 43:44Speaker 1: But yeah, I will be very upset. I'm going to scream,
- 43:47Speaker 1: and it's not because we know it's going to be bad,
- 43:49Speaker 1: and it is because they're going to give us nothing
- 43:51Speaker 1: and we already know about Coyote passic. There's nothing new
- 43:53Speaker 1: under the sun that you could give us. But it's
- 43:55Speaker 1: because they will be enriched yep by thirty episodes worth
- 43:59Speaker 1: of content.
- 44:00Speaker 2: And that's the thing. I wish we knew how much
- 44:02Speaker 2: they got paid per episode because I'm just like really
- 44:05Speaker 2: waiting for their inevitable foreclosure and they're inevitable bankruptcy because
- 44:10Speaker 2: these two jobless losers are just using sister wives yep
- 44:15Speaker 2: to pay for their mortgage.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Yes, after they, in my opinion, stole all the money
- 44:19Speaker 1: out of the family LLC YEP and stole away with
- 44:22Speaker 1: it so they could have all their tacky assets.
- 44:25Speaker 2: And I'm sorry, I love the OG three, but like,
- 44:27Speaker 2: these OG three are not suing him for every fucking
- 44:30Speaker 2: penny that he stole from them.
- 44:32Speaker 1: I don't understand. Yeah, it's not right. And then we
- 44:34Speaker 1: have Christine though ye who does currently have an active lawsuit,
- 44:38Speaker 1: and she will get access to those financial records. I
- 44:41Speaker 1: would imagine her attorney's going to have to figure out
- 44:44Speaker 1: how much Cody's making every year, and then she's going
- 44:47Speaker 1: to be able to figure out her child support from that.
- 44:49Speaker 1: But I don't think we're going to be privy to
- 44:51Speaker 1: that information.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Wish we could be.
- 44:55Speaker 2: I wish.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Yeah, So this is it, This is it. This is
- 44:59Speaker 1: the end, my friend, we made. Wow, God put me
- 45:04Speaker 1: out of my misery. Dude, stick a fore me so
- 45:08Speaker 1: over it. But you know what, I've enjoyed recapping it
- 45:10Speaker 1: with you.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Me too.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I've enjoyed meeting with y'all every week and talking about
- 45:16Speaker 1: the Sister Wives. And believe me when I say we're
- 45:19Speaker 1: going to continue our conversation on Sister Wives. We're going
- 45:22Speaker 1: to pick up in season six of Sister Wives to
- 45:25Speaker 1: do our rewinds. Not next week, but we'll start it
- 45:28Speaker 1: the week after that, and we will continue to have
- 45:30Speaker 1: our conversation owns about what we're going to be watching
- 45:33Speaker 1: this summer because there are some options. People did write
- 45:36Speaker 1: in with their opinions with a lot of them, so
- 45:39Speaker 1: a lot of opinions, and so we're considering all of that.
- 45:42Speaker 1: But right now, like you, we just need a break
- 45:45Speaker 1: from this horseship. Take a nap, that's absolutely right in
- 45:48Speaker 1: a coffin. Yeah, take a nap in a coffin. Well,
- 45:50Speaker 1: is there anything else that we need to say to
- 45:52Speaker 1: these beautiful raccoons before we get up on ada here bhs?
- 45:56Speaker 2: Well, if you love our podcast, please go to your
- 45:59Speaker 2: favorite podcast pop formal. Leave us a glowing five star review.

- 46:15Speaker 1: as well, so definitely join us there and to keep
- 46:18Speaker 1: the party going. We'll be back the week after that
