Speaker 3: Before we get to doctor Casey Sacks, though.
• 1:58
Speaker 5: Minteoriologist Brian he who's joined us right now, can we
• 2:01
Speaker 5: just end this once and for all that I am
• 2:03
Speaker 5: because I got the window, and it is still pouring
• 2:07
Speaker 5: down snow here in Charles.
• 2:08
Speaker 6: It is, and a lot of this is it's partial
• 2:11
Speaker 6: upslope snow. But we also have an Arctic air mass
• 2:14
Speaker 6: that's actually moving in, moving back in. It was here
• 2:17
Speaker 6: on Friday. That's when we were so cold here on Saturday.
• 2:21
Speaker 6: And then essentially that warm wedge was not it's not
• 2:24
Speaker 6: a warm wedge, it was a it was a warm
• 2:26
Speaker 6: u haul that came in and push all that cold
• 2:30
Speaker 6: to the north. But now it's moving back in. And
• 2:34
Speaker 6: we also have a Lake effect snow band that is
• 2:36
Speaker 6: coming off of Lake Michigan right now and it's across
• 2:39
Speaker 6: parts of Indiana and I do see that impacting us
• 2:42
Speaker 6: later today and so that later on this morning into
• 2:45
  Speaker 6: the midday.
• 2:46
Speaker 2: So we've got we've just got to watch.
• 2:48
Speaker 6: I think we could probably get another inch to maybe
• 2:51
Speaker 6: half inch to an inch of snow for the rest
• 2:53
  Speaker 6: of the day.
• 2:53
Speaker 5: All right, So I'm just gonna go ahead and uh
• 2:56
Speaker 5: and hit the elephant in the room. Yeah, all right,
• 2:58
Speaker 5: what happened with the fore with the snow.
• 3:00
Speaker 6: Depths with so we absolutely what you have to consider
• 3:06
Speaker 6: is what are the all the all the possibilities we
• 3:09
Speaker 6: could have had snow. It could have been eight to
• 3:10
Speaker 6: ten inchesworth of snow, but instead we had the warm air,
• 3:15
Speaker 6: which actually, just so you know, we have not had
• 3:19
Speaker 6: the warm wedge. As I said, turned to the warm
• 3:21
Speaker 6: u haul. This was this was massive. We've not had
• 3:25
Speaker 6: an overrunning event where it is this large and this widespread.
• 3:29
Speaker 6: This magnitude normally is very confined to west Virginia and
• 3:35
Speaker 6: southeast Kentucky. But the warm air made its way all
• 3:39
Speaker 6: the way into southern Ohio. And that was because the
• 3:43
Speaker 6: storm system itself strengthened as it came across the Tennessee Valley,
• 3:50
Speaker 6: and as it strengthened, that area of real pressure was
• 3:52
Speaker 6: then drawing massive amounts of moisture up out of the gulf.
• 3:55
Speaker 6: And then as it came up, it just kept on.
• 3:57
Speaker 6: It became what is called what is called a Miller B.
• 4:02
Speaker 6: And that is again that is it. It is really loud.
• 4:06
Speaker 6: I know it shouldn't what happened. It is a Miller
• 4:09
Speaker 6: B type scenario. And that is just a classification with
• 4:13
Speaker 6: the storm system. The one that's possible for this weekend
• 4:16
Speaker 6: is Miller A and that one normally wouldn't bring us snow.
• 4:20
Speaker 6: But the storm system becomes a nor'easter so much further south.
• 4:23
Speaker 6: But the potential is for that to happen, that it
• 4:26
Speaker 6: would bring the massive artic carry mass all the way
• 4:29
Speaker 6: down to the Gulf coast.
• 4:31
Speaker 2: And that's this coming weekend.
• 4:32
Speaker 6: So this is this is a We're in a very
• 4:34
Speaker 6: different pattern. And I've not seen a storm system like
• 4:36
Speaker 6: what we just had ever is in my fourteen years here.
• 4:40
Speaker 5: And you told me earlier that we set records for
• 4:43
Speaker 5: rainfall amount in certain areas yesterday.
• 4:45
Speaker 6: Yesterday we in Clarksburg, in Parkersburg, in Elkins, Charleston, all
• 4:51
Speaker 6: these places record rain and we're looking at the rain
• 4:55
Speaker 6: totals right around two inches on average. But yeah, we
• 5:00
Speaker 6: broke records yesterday for the amount of rain that we had.
• 5:03
Speaker 6: And that's why we had the flooding, flooding on the
• 5:05
Speaker 6: Coal River and everything because of the massive amount of rain.
• 5:09
Speaker 6: And here's what this is what I'm really afraid of,
• 5:12
Speaker 6: and it directly impacts me. When we melt all this off,
• 5:18
Speaker 6: it's got to go somewhere, these rivers when we melt
• 5:21
Speaker 6: this off, I'm not excited about this at all. It's
• 5:25
Speaker 6: someone who lives on a boat, right because the ground
• 5:28
Speaker 6: is solidly frozen. But when we melt all this off,
• 5:32
Speaker 6: it is straight. Runoff goes straight in the rivers. The
• 5:36
Speaker 6: rivers at some point in the first part of February
• 5:39
Speaker 6: are going to come up.
• 5:41
Speaker 5: And this is one of the only times that I
• 5:43
Speaker 5: can think of in some memory that all fifty five
• 5:47
Speaker 5: counties canceled classes today. I mean, that doesn't happen very often.
• 5:51
Speaker 6: It's very rare. It happened back in twenty sixteen. We
• 5:56
Speaker 6: had all fifty five counties, and I said, our friend Logan.
• 6:00
Speaker 6: He was like, you can't say that all the school's
• 6:02
Speaker 6: gonna be closed on Monday. I said, no, no, no, I
• 6:05
Speaker 6: know what kind of system we're gonna have. Even if
• 6:07
Speaker 6: it's not gonna be all snow, the ice, everything else,
• 6:09
Speaker 6: We're closing all fifty five counties, and all southern Ohio
• 6:12
Speaker 6: is closed, All of eastern Kentucky is closed. Essentially, any
• 6:16
Speaker 6: school system around here is closed. Most city halls are closed,
• 6:19
Speaker 6: courthouses are clothes. Got a text from our good friend
• 6:21
Speaker 6: Joe Stephen, city of Nitro they closed up, and garbage
• 6:24
Speaker 6: services are delayed and so on and so forth. You know,
• 6:27
Speaker 6: I know everybody likes what they like, but as somebody
• 6:30
Speaker 6: who does not like winter. I'm just like, I just
• 6:32
Speaker 6: I hope you all got what you want. But I listen,
• 6:36
Speaker 6: I used I showed you some of the forecast models
• 6:38
Speaker 6: stuff for this weekend. I mean, but I don't want
• 6:41
Speaker 6: any more of this. I want some time.
• 6:43
Speaker 5: What is the I mean, we don't want to get
• 6:45
Speaker 5: ahead of ourselves, right, But you're saying that for this
• 6:47
Speaker 5: weekend we could be looking at another round.
• 6:49
Speaker 6: Yeah, the European forecast model. And I'm not here's the
• 6:52
Speaker 6: I'm not even post. Let's get through this, do you know?
• 6:55
Speaker 6: Do you know this would go gangbusters online and it's
• 6:58
Speaker 6: I've already seen it being posted online. But I want
• 7:02
Speaker 6: I'm gonna wait at least maybe even late tonight, maybe tomorrow.
• 7:05
Speaker 6: I'm afraid if this, if this comes if this comes true,
• 7:08
Speaker 6: that's more than what we got in some places in
• 7:11
  Speaker 6: Superstorm Sandy.
• 7:13
Speaker 5: Okay, So which model Because we hear the American, we
• 7:16
Speaker 5: hear the European. There's all these different model which model
• 7:19
Speaker 5: actually quote unquote one out in the storm.
• 7:22
Speaker 6: So the European model one out? Now I could go back,
• 7:27
Speaker 6: I can go back and look specifically. Okay, but the
• 7:29
Speaker 6: European the European for the most part, is the one
• 7:32
Speaker 6: that did win. You also had the German model. If
• 7:36
Speaker 6: German model actually did pretty good, it did actually very
• 7:39
Speaker 6: good because it kept it kept the snow totals across
• 7:43
Speaker 6: our region actually in check. And it may have been
• 7:47
Speaker 6: just a couple of inches over, but it still was
• 7:51
Speaker 6: really good. Matter of fact, actually I showed a couple
• 7:54
Speaker 6: of people some of the ice potential totals that were
• 7:57
Speaker 6: coming through, and I was like, oh my gosh, and
• 8:00
Speaker 6: lo and behold look what we got. I mean we
• 8:01
Speaker 6: had we had about a quarter inch for the most part.
• 8:04
Speaker 6: You get in southern West Virginia down to the Greenbrier
• 8:07
Speaker 6: Valley the quarter to like four tenths of an inch
• 8:10
Speaker 6: in some spots. But still the most power outages are
• 8:14
Speaker 6: here in Kanon County. The entire state Kindar County fourteen
• 8:17
Speaker 6: than six hundred customers without power.
• 8:20
Speaker 5: Well, and the roads are passable on the interstates, but
• 8:23
Speaker 5: the side streets and the back roads are just are
• 8:25
Speaker 5: still horrible and they're gonna they're going to remain that
• 8:27
Speaker 5: way for a while.
• 8:28
Speaker 6: They're passable, but they're still not good. Yeah, but yeah,
• 8:32
Speaker 6: if you're just so you know, and this is in
• 8:34
Speaker 6: talking with with with the mayor, with Mayor Amy Goodwin
• 8:38
Speaker 6: last week, you know, we were talking about the snow
• 8:41
Speaker 6: potential and she goes, Briana, don't want ice, and I said, well,
• 8:45
Speaker 6: the problem is that's the potential too if that, you know,
• 8:47
Speaker 6: if the wedge wins out. But I said, she ges,
• 8:50
Speaker 6: that's my biggest fear. And I said, I know, because
• 8:53
Speaker 6: the problem is going to be the cold this week.
• 8:55
Speaker 6: And I said, what he is here will be here
• 8:58
Speaker 6: for a solid week. And I said that Canal City Flats.
• 9:02
  Speaker 2: They're there. It's all eyes. Uh, I mean it's we
• 9:05
Speaker 2: all know this is ice everywhere.
• 9:06
Speaker 6: Yeah, but this is the I feel bad for the
• 9:09
Speaker 6: road crews that are out there there. They were going,
• 9:12
Speaker 6: everybody was State City, County, Uh, you know, all the
• 9:16
Speaker 6: everybody was going. They were trying to get the slush
• 9:20
Speaker 6: away from the roads as best they could trying. But
• 9:23
Speaker 6: the problem is obviously we got down you know, the
• 9:25
Speaker 6: teens and such overnight and we're not going to get
• 9:27
Speaker 6: out of the teens today. Uh, maybe up to twenty,
• 9:30
Speaker 6: but you know, we go tonight down to the single
• 9:32
Speaker 6: digits and and and the numbers for the next uh,
• 9:35
Speaker 6: for the next five days listens to tonight eight Wednesday morning,
• 9:41
Speaker 6: seven Thursday morning, two on Friday morning, one below on
• 9:44
Speaker 6: Saturday morning, and then three below on Sunday, and by
• 9:48
  Speaker 6: Monday we maybe.
• 9:49
Speaker 2: Get to thirty three degrees.
• 9:51
Speaker 6: Maybe, but maybe because if the European forecast model wins
• 9:54
Speaker 6: out as what it's showing right now, we got a
• 9:57
Speaker 6: gangbuster snowstorm coming this weekend.
• 10:00
Speaker 5: Just get through this one.
• 10:00
  Speaker 2: I know exactly.
• 10:01
Speaker 6: It's what what the main message is this, it is
• 10:05
Speaker 6: going to it is going to be very cold. If
• 10:08
Speaker 6: more power outages happen or infrastructure issues go on, this
• 10:13
Speaker 6: cold could be deadly in some very very rare cases. Okay,
• 10:18
Speaker 6: So if your neighbor is doesn't have is all electric,
• 10:23
Speaker 6: they don't have gas, or they don't have a you know,
• 10:25
Speaker 6: wood burning stove, help them out.
• 10:28
Speaker 5: Yeah, all right, hang out with me here one second.
• 10:30
Speaker 5: You're welcome to I mean, you had other things to do,
• 10:32
Speaker 5: but your I have nothing to do. We'll watch your maps.
• 10:35
Speaker 5: Let's bring a doctor, Casey Sacks a bridge Valley. Good morning,
• 10:39
Speaker 5: doctor Sachs, welcome to the show.
• 10:41
Speaker 7: Good morning. How are you doing today, Dave?
• 10:43
Speaker 5: You get to hang out a little bit with Brian
• 10:45
Speaker 5: Hughes a little bit. I hope that's okay.
• 10:47
Speaker 7: Well, Hi, Brian Hughes, Well.
• 10:49
Speaker 2: Good morning to you. I hope you're enjoying this cold
• 10:51
Speaker 2: weather at home. I'm assuming I suspect I.
• 10:55
Speaker 7: May be developing an allergy to the cold.
• 10:58
  Speaker 2: We all have.
• 10:59
Speaker 5: And this is somebody who's from Colorado originally he did.
• 11:01
Speaker 5: Just keep that in mind. So no classes today, right.
• 11:05
Speaker 7: No classes today. It's really a bummer because we were
• 11:08
Speaker 7: supposed to have our white coat ceremony for our new
• 11:11
Speaker 7: nurses tonight. We'll have to reschedule it.
• 11:13
Speaker 5: Okay, all right, So have we rescheduled it yet or
• 11:16
Speaker 5: are you going to have to get us a time
• 11:17
  Speaker 5: on that.
• 11:18
Speaker 7: I'll have to get you a time. I spent my
• 11:20
Speaker 7: being a message this morning, but I think he may
• 11:22
Speaker 7: be playing in the snow with his dogs.
• 11:24
Speaker 5: I got it, all right. So you've been all around
• 11:26
Speaker 5: the country talking about the good things going on at
• 11:27
Speaker 5: Bridge Valley. You told me you spoke at a big
• 11:30
Speaker 5: conference talk about that.
• 11:32
Speaker 7: Yeah, it was actually in London.
• 11:34
Speaker 5: Wow. Okay, the one in England, not the one in
• 11:38
Speaker 5: and the other side of Knawa County.
• 11:40
Speaker 7: That's right, the one in England.
• 11:41
  Speaker 5: Okay.
• 11:43
Speaker 7: So the conference is called bet Be Ett. It's an
• 11:46
Speaker 7: education technology conference. They had thirty eight thousand attendees this year,
• 11:51
Speaker 7: and the Texas Education Foundation paid for a group of
• 11:55
Speaker 7: US to go to represent the United States, and they
• 11:58
Speaker 7: wanted a community college president as part of the delegation,
• 12:01
Speaker 7: and so they chose Bridge Valley because of the great
• 12:04
Speaker 7: work that's happening right here in the valley with workforce development.
• 12:08
Speaker 7: They were so interested to talk about how we talk
• 12:11
Speaker 7: to employers to make sure that the things that we're
• 12:13
Speaker 7: teaching in the classroom align with what our employers actually need.
• 12:16
  Speaker 5: That's great that I mean that. I said that you're
• 12:19
Speaker 5: going across the country, but in this case, you went
• 12:21
  Speaker 5: across the pond.
• 12:22
Speaker 3: That's pretty good, Sun I did.
• 12:24
Speaker 7: It was really amazing. And you know, we sort of
• 12:27
Speaker 7: take it for granted because it's just how we do
• 12:29
Speaker 7: things at Bridge Valley. But when you start to hear
• 12:32
Speaker 7: people from all over the world say how do your
• 12:35
Speaker 7: faculty do that? And what's going on? And that's that
• 12:38
Speaker 7: it's really special. It's so fun to get to brag
• 12:41
Speaker 7: about West Virginia like that.
• 12:43
Speaker 5: And you've been out to talk a little bit about
• 12:45
  Speaker 5: AI as well.
• 12:47
Speaker 7: I have so a big part of the ed Tech
• 12:49
Speaker 7: conference is thinking through how does artificial intelligence change teaching
• 12:54
Speaker 7: and learning? And I think the big message is that
• 12:57
Speaker 7: it's changing lots of jobs and so if when our
• 13:01
Speaker 7: role is to listen to employers and to be responsive
• 13:03
Speaker 7: to what employers need, part of that is how do
• 13:07
Speaker 7: we help the workforce of tomorrow understand how to use
• 13:10
Speaker 7: this new technology in a variety of ways. Manufacturing is
• 13:13
Speaker 7: changing because of AI and robotics, So really thinking through
• 13:18
Speaker 7: how does that work and what do companies want and
• 13:20
Speaker 7: do they want it right now or do they want
• 13:21
Speaker 7: it ten years from now are things that our faculty
• 13:24
Speaker 7: are really grappling with and trying to figure out how
• 13:27
Speaker 7: to put into their classrooms.
• 13:29
Speaker 5: Talk to doctor Casey Sachs Abridge Value the Dave Island
• 13:31
Speaker 5: Show on five Adieline brought to you part by Morgan
• 13:33
Speaker 5: and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Before we let
• 13:36
Speaker 5: you go, last time you're on, you talked about adults
• 13:38
Speaker 5: going back to school. What can you tell us about that?
• 13:42
Speaker 7: Yeah, So we actually recently got a grant with the
• 13:45
Speaker 7: Lumina Foundation to really dig into Internet data. It turns
• 13:50
Speaker 7: out anything you search on the Internet becomes part of
• 13:53
Speaker 7: a database that you can mine, and so the Lumina
• 13:56
Speaker 7: Foundation is helping us figure out how to mine the
• 13:59
Speaker 7: internet to find out who are the adults in our
• 14:02
Speaker 7: region who are interested in going back to school and
• 14:04
Speaker 7: how do we more intentionally target them. So we're working
• 14:07
Speaker 7: on this great project and hopefully if you're an adult
• 14:10
Speaker 7: listening and you've googled at some point, hey, I'm thinking
• 14:13
Speaker 7: about changing jobs or going back to school and what
• 14:17
Speaker 7: might I want to do? That that means that you're
• 14:20
Speaker 7: someone who we can more intentionally target and help make
• 14:22
Speaker 7: sure you find the right program at Bridge Valley, Doctor.
• 14:25
  Speaker 3: Keasey Saxonbridge Valley.
• 14:26
Speaker 5: Always a pleasure to have you on the show, and
• 14:29
Speaker 5: be safe out there and we'll talk soon. Thanks a lot,

• 17:40
Speaker 5: this morning as well. Tell me about about the services
• 17:44
Speaker 5: that that you folks will be offering.
• 17:46
Speaker 11: Yeah, so, we're a nonprofit financial counseling, education, and advocacy organization.
• 17:52
Speaker 11: There actually was a similar organization a few years back
• 17:55
Speaker 11: in you're all's area. But our chapter, the midd Ohio
• 17:58
Speaker 11: Valley is kind of seeing that there is a major
• 18:03
Speaker 11: need in and around the entire state of West Virginia,
• 18:06
Speaker 11: but specifically we know Kanall County being probably the most populated,
• 18:11
Speaker 11: that we really can fill much of the financial needs
• 18:15
Speaker 11: of families and individuals that are struggling. You know, the
• 18:18
Speaker 11: cost of things are going up all around us, and
• 18:21
Speaker 11: salaries aren't keeping up and what better way than to
• 18:25
Speaker 11: have somebody who can advocate for you, who can provide
• 18:28
Speaker 11: you with some tools and resources in a very non
• 18:30
Speaker 11: judgmental way, and guide you through any challenge that you
• 18:34
Speaker 11: might be facing or goal that you're looking to achieve financially.
• 18:37
Speaker 5: And what are some of those things that you commonly
• 18:40
Speaker 5: hear from people when they come to you for your services.
• 18:43
Speaker 11: So most often it's that they've run out of months before,
• 18:47
Speaker 11: or they've run out of money before the month is up, right,
• 18:49
Speaker 11: so they're just overwhelmed.
• 18:52
Speaker 5: Like at the old country song. The old country song
• 18:54
Speaker 5: was there's not enough month at the end of the
• 18:57
Speaker 5: money or something like that.
• 18:58
Speaker 11: Yes, yes, and it's very true for so many people.
• 19:03
Speaker 11: And you know they're doing good work, they are looking
• 19:07
Speaker 11: at all ways that they can make extra money, and
• 19:11
Speaker 11: yet it still sometimes seems that it's hard to find
• 19:14
Speaker 11: your way out. We can really sit down with our
• 19:18
Speaker 11: families and individuals and help them kind of from the
• 19:21
Speaker 11: outside looking in, map a plan to get them out
• 19:25
Speaker 11: of debt. Maybe they're overwhelmed with credit card debt that
• 19:29
Speaker 11: you know, they can't even really look back and see, well,
• 19:31
Speaker 11: where did this start from. It happens a little over
• 19:34
Speaker 11: time and so we can really help them just find
• 19:39
Speaker 11: a solution. We actually work with many of the major
• 19:42
Speaker 11: credit card companies to have agreed upon from the very start,
• 19:47
Speaker 11: lowered interest rates, lowered minimum payments to help somebody see
• 19:51
Speaker 11: themselves out of debt in three to five years. It's
• 19:54
Speaker 11: a wonderful plan that you know, you just need an
• 19:58
Speaker 11: agency such as ourselves to help help you through that.
• 20:02
Speaker 11: So we you know that and many other cases housing situations,
• 20:06
Speaker 11: delinquent housing. We're a HUD certified Housing counseling agent and
• 20:10
Speaker 11: we can guide people through a goal that they're looking
• 20:13
Speaker 11: to become a homeowner or to preserve their home ownership.
• 20:17
Speaker 6: When you talk about the counseling, credit, counseling things of
• 20:20
Speaker 6: this nature, is it is it any way classified you know,
• 20:25
Speaker 6: if in your future as similar to a bankruptcy or
• 20:28
Speaker 6: is this something that doesn't have an impact on your
• 20:31
Speaker 6: credit only obviously improving over time, But is it any
• 20:34
Speaker 6: way similar to that?
• 20:37
Speaker 11: It is the alternative to bankruptcy. It is going to
• 20:40
Speaker 11: preserve your credit. It now you often depending upon you know,
• 20:45
Speaker 11: what kind of advice we're getting or if you're entering
• 20:47
Speaker 11: into that that repayment plan, debt management plan, closing an
• 20:51
Speaker 11: account has a little effect on your credit in the beginning,
• 20:55
Speaker 11: but as we continue to make your monthly payments on
• 20:57
Speaker 11: your behalf, then you're going to see the things actually
• 21:01
Speaker 11: get back on track. Especially for somebody who's fallen behind
• 21:04
Speaker 11: already on their payments to their credit card companies, We're
• 21:08
Speaker 11: going to get them back on track. We're going to
• 21:11
Speaker 11: help them rebuild that credit rating and within a few
• 21:15
Speaker 11: months even see that credit score improve well beyond any
• 21:19
Speaker 11: small hit that closing a credit line has. Does have
• 21:23
Speaker 11: an effect on a credit score, but it's nothing in
• 21:26
Speaker 11: comparison to what a bankruptcy is going to do, And
• 21:29
Speaker 11: a bankruptcy is going to hurt credit for ten years.
• 21:33
Speaker 11: It can be much harder to rebuild after a bankruptcy.
• 21:36
Speaker 5: Now, where are you physically going to be located here?
• 21:40
Speaker 11: We are physically located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Do have
• 21:44
Speaker 11: a part time office in Jackson County in Ripley, West Virginia,
• 21:48
Speaker 11: and we hope to soon have a physical location in Charleston.
• 21:53
Speaker 11: Much of what we'll do will be in virtual sense
• 21:56
Speaker 11: or visiting the area, partnering with some local social service
• 22:01
Speaker 11: organizations to offer some in person education and again, we're
• 22:07
Speaker 11: we're hopeful and even have some talks in the works
• 22:11
Speaker 11: to have a part time physical location until eventually having
• 22:14
  Speaker 11: our own space.
• 22:16
Speaker 5: All right, where can people learn more? Do you have
• 22:18

• 23:22
Speaker 5: The snow continuing to fall here in the Charles'nry, but
• 23:25
Speaker 5: it should be wrapping up at some point sometime.
• 23:29
Speaker 6: It looks like, Yeah, what I'm looking at more than anything,
• 23:32
Speaker 6: is that we're gonna have We're gonna have off and
• 23:34
Speaker 6: on flurries all day long and even into this evening
• 23:36
Speaker 6: and tonight, but that all wraps up as we go
• 23:39
Speaker 6: into the daytime hours.
• 23:40
Speaker 2: All the moisture is scoured out.
• 23:41
Speaker 6: But the most of the moisture that we're going to
• 23:43
Speaker 6: get today is all coming off of the Lake Michigan.
• 23:46
Speaker 6: So we're seeing that influence from Lake Michigan late. You know,
• 23:50
Speaker 6: to think, and I know this is crazy sometimes to
• 23:53
Speaker 6: think about this, but you know, we have lake effects
• 23:56
Speaker 6: snow that is absolutely impacting our region and it's going
• 23:59
Speaker 6: to get uh for the rest of the day, and
• 24:02
Speaker 6: then as we head into Tuesday. Uh, Tuesday afternoon could
• 24:05
Speaker 6: have getten like little dusting of snow. But Wednesday night
• 24:08
Speaker 6: into Thursday, that's another little round of snow. Could be
• 24:11
Speaker 6: a dusting to an inch and maybe two to three
• 24:13
Speaker 6: inches of the mountains of West Virginia. And then we're
• 24:16
Speaker 6: obviously watching what's happening this weekend. And when I say
• 24:19
Speaker 6: what's happening this weekend, uh, just looking at the latest.
• 24:23
Speaker 6: So the AI version, speaking of AI, you know we
• 24:26
Speaker 6: were with Bridge Valley just a bit earlier. The AI
• 24:29
Speaker 6: version of this forecast model is showing that, you know,
• 24:31
Speaker 6: we we could have going into this weekend, h some
• 24:36
Speaker 6: big snow across the mountains of West Virginia, maybe even
• 24:39
Speaker 6: down here into the canalbackay.
• 24:40
Speaker 5: But primarily at this point we look at it, it's cold,
• 24:43
Speaker 5: well primarily we're looking at easter here.
• 24:44
Speaker 6: Yeah, primarily looking EASi here. But but as we saw,
• 24:47
Speaker 6: things can change exactly. That's the thing. We're going to
• 24:49
Speaker 6: continue to look at it. But the AI version of
• 24:51
Speaker 6: the forecast model has been actually outperforming the standard model,
• 24:54
Speaker 6: and it's still also showing snow as we head into
• 24:57
  Speaker 6: this weekend.
• 24:58
Speaker 5: All right, I'm gonna have I know you're going to
• 24:59
Speaker 5: make it appear on Talk Lane today. I'm going to
• 25:01
Speaker 5: have you back this afternoon after two because normally I
• 25:04

• 25:06
Speaker 5: being closed around the state of West Virginia. I figure
• 25:09
Speaker 5: we got Mayor Brian Hughes so you can come on
• 25:11
  Speaker 5: the show.
• 25:12
Speaker 2: With h Now that people thought I was running for me, Yeah,
• 25:14

• 25:15
Speaker 3: I just thought i'd throw you about it.
• 25:17
  Speaker 2: Now I won't. I won't run against her.
• 25:18
Speaker 5: Okay, but she's already said this is going to be
• 25:21

Speaker 3: He's going to be doing.
• 29:38
Speaker 5: He's gonna be doing other things with us, including a
• 29:39
Speaker 5: lot of sales stuff and you know, different promotion kind
• 29:42
Speaker 5: of stuff. And of course he's still going to continue,
• 29:44
Speaker 5: uh to be the director of the Regatta, working with
• 29:46
Speaker 5: Mayor A Goodwin on the regatta. So it just so
• 29:49
Speaker 5: happens that we had, you know, this snowpocalypse or whatever
• 29:53
Speaker 5: you want to call it, when he officially doesn't even
• 29:56
Speaker 5: start here till next week.
• 29:57
Speaker 15: Do you know director of the Regatta wants really year
• 30:01
  Speaker 15: two thousand.
• 30:02
  Speaker 5: Okay.
• 30:02
Speaker 15: They had gone broke the year before, and I showed
• 30:06
Speaker 15: a profit in ninety six thousand, okay, and gave the
• 30:09
Speaker 15: city back the fifty thousand that they put in it.
• 30:14
Speaker 15: I couldn't get along with Nelson Jones.
• 30:16
Speaker 5: Okay, that didn't work. Okay, all right?
• 30:18
Speaker 3: Did you have fun?
• 30:20
  Speaker 7: Yeah?
• 30:20
Speaker 15: I had fun. I put some of my own money
• 30:22
Speaker 15: in it. I sponsored an event.
• 30:25
Speaker 5: And that's one of the things about the regatta, Danny
• 30:27
Speaker 5: and you and I have talked about this in the past,
• 30:28
Speaker 5: and when when Mayor Goodwin ran on, one of the
• 30:31
Speaker 5: things was she wanted to, you know, hopefully bring the
• 30:33
Speaker 5: regatta back. The regatta went away because you can correct
• 30:39
Speaker 5: me if I'm wrong, because a lot of the major
• 30:40
Speaker 5: sponsorship when we couldn't get won, yeah, and so can
• 30:45
Speaker 5: we get Bud Wiser couldn't get it out, and so
• 30:47
Speaker 5: that's why, you know, when the mayor brought it back,
• 30:50
Speaker 5: you know, one of the main I mean, she had
• 30:52
Speaker 5: an incredible team around her to do it.
• 30:53
  Speaker 3: Not just her.
• 30:54
Speaker 5: She'll be the first that meant that, but Brian Hughes
• 30:56
Speaker 5: was a big part of that.
• 30:57
Speaker 15: She had the American rescue plan.
• 30:59
Speaker 5: Yeah, didn't hurt. Yeah, it didn't hurt, and now it's
• 31:03
Speaker 5: it's good. Over the next I guess probably the next
• 31:05
Speaker 5: month or two, they'll probably announce who the entertainment is
• 31:08
Speaker 5: going to be for the regatta. And look, everybody wants
• 31:12
Speaker 5: it to be like it used to be ten days
• 31:13
Speaker 5: or whatever. That's just that's simply not feasible, you know,
• 31:16
Speaker 5: it's just simply not feasible. No, we all used to
• 31:18
Speaker 5: want to look back at things, we talked. We spent
• 31:20
Speaker 5: a lot of time in the last couple of months
• 31:21
Speaker 5: on the show Danny talking about the about the town Center,
• 31:24
Speaker 5: and everybody wants it, you know, like it used to be.
• 31:26
Speaker 5: It's just not gonna happen.
• 31:27
Speaker 15: I was the one to cut it from ten to four, okay,
• 31:30
Speaker 15: and in ninety nine it was ten in two thousand
• 31:34
Speaker 15: and four, and the reason is because you had to remember,
• 31:39
Speaker 15: Charleston was losing population. Just it just wasn't working well.
• 31:44
Speaker 5: And I think too, and the mayor talks about this
• 31:45
Speaker 5: a lot, Danny, is the fact that you know, I
• 31:47
Speaker 5: don't think maybe people realize what a what a heavy
• 31:51
Speaker 5: lift that is for the city workers too. Yeah, you know,
• 31:54
  Speaker 5: I mean, and that's and that's a lot of overtime
• 31:56
Speaker 5: and you know, things of that nature. And and for
• 31:58
Speaker 5: not just about the pay, it's it's about the time
• 32:01
Speaker 5: away from their families and so on, and so it's
• 32:04
  Speaker 5: a it's it's a I mean, they're happy to do it,
• 32:06
Speaker 5: but it's a lot easier on them if they cut
• 32:09
Speaker 5: it back to you know.
• 32:09
Speaker 15: And it's exciting. It's an exciting every few days.
• 32:12
Speaker 5: Are you a winter kind of guy? I know you
• 32:14
Speaker 5: were complaining a little bit because you haven't been able
• 32:16
Speaker 5: to get to the y to work out. But do
• 32:18
  Speaker 5: you like wintertime?
• 32:20
  Speaker 15: Not really?
• 32:20
Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm not a fan. No, it's why you spend
• 32:22
Speaker 5: that time in California.
• 32:24
Speaker 15: Right, Well, California is different. It's noting like Florida or
• 32:28
Speaker 15: South Carolina. What's so different about it? It's not it's
• 32:31
Speaker 15: not hot hot. I guess if you go to Palm
• 32:34
Speaker 15: Springs it would be, right. But where I am, the
• 32:37
Speaker 15: wind's always blowing seventy degrees and it's just beautiful.
• 32:43
Speaker 5: My god, that sounds so good right now? Yeah, And
• 32:45
Speaker 5: it's as somebody who cannot stand winter, that sounds really good,
• 32:50
  Speaker 5: right yeah?
• 32:51
Speaker 15: And now overnight, you know, like I'm sure it's forty
• 32:57
  Speaker 15: degrees last night.
• 32:59
Speaker 5: But still that's white jacket weather.
• 33:01
Speaker 15: That's like right now because six o'clock in the morning,
• 33:05
  Speaker 15: sixth forty.
• 33:06
Speaker 5: Yeah. So yeah, So what's the latest with the book.
• 33:11
  Speaker 15: Well, it's selling, okay, selling, well, I mean we're I'm
• 33:15
Speaker 15: changing printers. Yeah, and we're going to have it done
• 33:20
Speaker 15: locally here and instead of being thirty six ninety five
• 33:25
Speaker 15: because they Paul Metto raised the price on us, we're
• 33:29
Speaker 15: gonna have it done by West Virginia Books, which is
• 33:32
Speaker 15: on the West side. Okay, it'll be a paperback edition
• 33:36
Speaker 15: and it'll be twenty four ninety five Okay.
• 33:39
Speaker 5: And where will it be available, Well, I don't know yet,
• 33:42
  Speaker 5: you don't know.
• 33:42
Speaker 15: That'll be up to Bill.
• 33:44
Speaker 5: Okay, I got you. I want to go national here
• 33:47
Speaker 5: for a moment and I want to talk to you
• 33:49
Speaker 5: about Minneapolis. And I know I saw something that you posted,
• 33:54
Speaker 5: Danny on social media where you and I'm paraphrasing here,
• 33:57
Speaker 5: but you pretty much said that the the news depresses
• 34:02
Speaker 5: you these days, you find yourself watching more sports documentaries.
• 34:06
Speaker 15: Well, I also said there's some egregious Fourth Amendment violations
• 34:11
Speaker 15: going on up there.
• 34:13
  Speaker 5: Okay, and.
• 34:17
Speaker 15: The which I believe everybody's entitled to process, whether it's
• 34:23
Speaker 15: civil or criminal. They're entitled to process, and they're not
• 34:28
Speaker 15: getting up there. They're they're knocking down doors without what
• 34:33
Speaker 15: They're knocking down doors without knocking on the doors, right,
• 34:37
Speaker 15: they're just knock and bringing people out in their boxers
• 34:41
Speaker 15: and you know, in the zero.
• 34:43
Speaker 5: Well, and I think sometimes an I'm no constitutional expert
• 34:47
Speaker 5: by any stretch of the imagination, Danny, but uh, some
• 34:50
Speaker 5: some of the arguments that you get from people online
• 34:53
Speaker 5: or whatever. They'll say something like, well, these people are illegal,
• 34:56
Speaker 5: they don't have rights.
• 34:58
  Speaker 3: Actually they do.
• 35:00
Speaker 5: They did once they're on It doesn't matter whether they're here,
• 35:02
Speaker 5: and we can like it or not like it. But
• 35:04
Speaker 5: the fact is that once they are on American property,
• 35:08
Speaker 5: they do have rights and they are protected by the Constitution,
• 35:10
Speaker 5: whether they are a citizen or not.
• 35:12
Speaker 15: And not only that, some of the people that are
• 35:14
Speaker 15: taking in are naturalized or maybe born citizens. And the
• 35:20
Speaker 15: conservative editorial board of the Wall Street Journal has come
• 35:25
Speaker 15: out and pretty well said in their document and their
• 35:29
Speaker 15: lead editorial this morning, it's time for.
• 35:32
Speaker 5: ICE to get out of Minneapolis. And what we saw,
• 35:35
Speaker 5: if I am correct, with the situation over the weekend,
• 35:37
Speaker 5: this was not ICE. This was Border Patrol, which are
• 35:40
Speaker 5: two different organizations. Sure, yeah, okay, it was border control.
• 35:45
Speaker 5: But I mean, and look, I you know, we were
• 35:47
Speaker 5: in our meeting. We have every morning to talk about
• 35:50
Speaker 5: what we're gonna talk about other different talk shows.
• 35:52
  Speaker 1: Today, It's like I.
• 35:55
Speaker 5: Think TJ said it best, and during our meeting today
• 35:57
Speaker 5: he said, you know, I don't know that it's that
• 35:59
Speaker 5: it We should be editorializing right now because we don't
• 36:02
Speaker 5: know all the facts of what happened up there the
• 36:04
Speaker 5: other day over the weekend with this most regent, most
• 36:07
Speaker 5: recent one. This was a military veteran that was killed. Yeah,
• 36:13
Speaker 5: registered nurse, an intensive care nurse. Yes, yes, I'm sorry,
• 36:18
Speaker 5: that's a veterans administration. Yeah, And we don't know exactly
• 36:22
Speaker 5: what he was doing. He had he had a legal
• 36:27
Speaker 5: permit to carry his weapon.
• 36:28
Speaker 15: He had a gun that was not being it was
• 36:31
Speaker 15: not in his hand, he was not threatening anybody with it.
• 36:34
Speaker 15: He had one hand on a lady who had been peppers.
• 36:37
Speaker 15: He was trying to help her. In his other hand,
• 36:40
Speaker 15: he had his phone and they shot him ten times.
• 36:44
Speaker 5: Congratulations, And this obviously bothers.
• 36:48
Speaker 15: You and Stephen Miller and that Christy nom call him
• 36:52
Speaker 15: a domestic terrorist as they did that lady in the car.
• 36:56
Speaker 5: Right, do you think that there are similarities between the
• 36:59
Speaker 5: two situations? Betwe the lady, because here here's the way
• 37:01
Speaker 5: I look at it, and I'll editor realize a little.
• 37:03
Speaker 5: This is just me being, you know, one thousand miles
• 37:06
Speaker 5: away or whatever. I could see hear me out on this.
• 37:10
Speaker 5: I could see where in the with the situation with
• 37:13
Speaker 5: the lady that was killed, I could see where you
• 37:16
Speaker 5: could make the argument that she was in a car,
• 37:19
Speaker 5: it was a it was a target. I could see
• 37:22
Speaker 5: the argument. Don't necessarily buy into it, but I could
• 37:25
Speaker 5: see the argument there. Okay, it's hard for me to
• 37:30
Speaker 5: justify this. Now. People will say, well, if you are
• 37:33
Speaker 5: impeding with a legal proceeding of any kind and you
• 37:37
Speaker 5: deserve what you get, are going to justify or whatever
• 37:40
  Speaker 5: you're taking that?
• 37:42
Speaker 15: Well, she was leaving. I don't know as much about
• 37:46
Speaker 15: that one as I do the other one. But she
• 37:51
Speaker 15: was leaving, she was pulling away. And did they have
• 37:55
Speaker 15: to kill her? Was it necessary? An angle from one angle,
• 38:01
Speaker 15: was she's shooting her? I don't know, But the other
• 38:05
Speaker 15: one is not even close.
• 38:06
Speaker 5: I'm gonna give you a quote here, and this was
• 38:10
Speaker 5: a quote from truth Social from President Trump he had
• 38:14
Speaker 5: a gun. Only criminals carry guns on our streets. We
• 38:18
Speaker 5: need law and order. Thank you for your attention to
• 38:20
Speaker 5: this matter of President Donald J. Trump.
• 38:22
Speaker 15: The only criminals carry guns?
• 38:24
Speaker 5: Where's the NRA on this?
• 38:26
  Speaker 3: They're upset?
• 38:27
Speaker 15: They are right, Well, let's get so are the gun
• 38:29
  Speaker 15: owners of America.
• 38:30
Speaker 5: And they should be because we've preached this narrative and
• 38:34
Speaker 5: I agree with it. I agree with the wholeheartedly that
• 38:38
Speaker 5: I'm a second amendmic guy. Okay, but we've preached this narrative.
• 38:42
Speaker 5: Then we've said that if we take the guns, only
• 38:45
Speaker 5: criminals will have guns. And they said that for years,
• 38:48
Speaker 5: and Obama's coming for your guns and so on and
• 38:50
Speaker 5: so forth. Based on that statement there, it doesn't sound
• 38:54
Speaker 5: like Obama's coming for your guns.
• 38:56
Speaker 15: There are people that are and for your guns. If
• 39:01
Speaker 15: he'd had his power, Mayor Bloomberg, he would have come.
• 39:05
Speaker 15: He would have absolutely confiscate your guns, all of them.
• 39:08
Speaker 15: And that was his feeling. It's just his Otherwise, he's
• 39:13
Speaker 15: the best mayor in New York, said since since Lagordia.
• 39:18
Speaker 15: But when it comes to that, he was just out
• 39:21
Speaker 15: out of his leg. But I'm very upset about this
• 39:28
Speaker 15: and this business about asking people for their papers. We
• 39:36
Speaker 15: had that happen in this you know, before World War Two.
• 39:40
Speaker 15: It was in German place called Germany. You know, let
• 39:43
Speaker 15: me see your papers.
• 39:44
Speaker 5: I don't know if you heard me tell the story
• 39:47
Speaker 5: last week or not, Danny of what happened to my niece.
• 39:50
Speaker 5: My niece lives in Wyoming County, young lady, she's nineteen,
• 39:54
Speaker 5: and she was pulled over by by ICE agents. They
• 39:57
Speaker 5: identified themselves as ICE agents, surrounded her car, black vans, masks,
• 40:02
Speaker 5: the whole deal. And this was in Oceana, in Wyoming
• 40:05
Speaker 5: count And she was she pulled over and they identified
• 40:11
Speaker 5: themselves as Ice, asked her where she was going, what
• 40:14
Speaker 5: she was doing? Uh, where she had been? And and
• 40:19
Speaker 5: and again there's no way I can say this make
• 40:21
Speaker 5: it sound politically correct, you know. They people have said
• 40:25
  Speaker 5: that it's a war on on Latino's the Spanish. She's
• 40:28
Speaker 5: the whitest girl you've ever seen her in She's so white,
• 40:30
  Speaker 5: she's porcelain, and she's got.
• 40:32
  Speaker 3: Bright red hair.
• 40:33
Speaker 5: And they never told her why they were pulling her over.
• 40:38
Speaker 5: And she wasn't speeding, she wasn't on her phone or neath.
• 40:41
Speaker 5: They they pulled her over and and and and asked
• 40:44
Speaker 5: her where she was going, what she was doing, put
• 40:46
Speaker 5: a flashlight in the back seat, and then she she
• 40:51
Speaker 5: did say that they that they weren't necessarily mean about it,
• 40:54
Speaker 5: but they were stirring about it. Let me tell you,
• 40:56
Speaker 5: and I'm just like what.
• 40:57
Speaker 15: You do not have to answer to the kind of questions.
• 41:02
Speaker 15: You do not have to answer this kind of question.
• 41:04
Speaker 15: If you're walking down the street and a police officer
• 41:08
Speaker 15: asked you for your ID, unless he has what's called
• 41:12
Speaker 15: reasonable artic, you will suspicion that are crimes afoot. You
• 41:18
Speaker 15: do not have to give him your ID.
• 41:20
  Speaker 7: Now.
• 41:20
Speaker 15: The one thing you do have to do if a
• 41:23
Speaker 15: policeman pulls you over and tell she get out of
• 41:26
Speaker 15: your car, you have to get out of your Okay,
• 41:28
Speaker 15: but I mean in the Pennsylvania I can quote your cases.
• 41:31
Speaker 5: Yeah, in her but in her situation, they you know,
• 41:34
Speaker 5: I mean, she's a nineteen year old kid, and she complied,
• 41:37
Speaker 5: you know, she did what they asked. But then they
• 41:39
Speaker 5: let her go. They said, okay, you're free to go.
• 41:40
Speaker 5: And well, she never found out why they pulled her over.
• 41:44
Speaker 5: I mean, other than the fact maybe she had a
• 41:46
Speaker 5: car that was similar to one they were looking for,
• 41:48
Speaker 5: which I mean Okay, I get that, but just you know,
• 41:51
Speaker 5: put yourself in her position, you know, being nineteen years old, and.
• 41:56
Speaker 15: They were up here.
• 41:56
Speaker 5: Yeah, all ICE is everywhere here. Yeah, I mean we
• 41:59
Speaker 5: saw the you know well, you talked about it last week.
• 42:01
Speaker 15: Yeah, they were on the roof at Rio Grandi, on
• 42:05
Speaker 15: the roof. That's the building I used to own.
• 42:08
Speaker 5: Yeah. Tex says, No, she wasn't driving away. Her little
• 42:12
Speaker 5: girlfriend told her drive, baby, drive. I'm talking about the
• 42:16
Speaker 5: situation with the with the lady in Minnesota.
• 42:19
Speaker 15: Okay, all right, good, good point. But where was the
• 42:22
Speaker 15: ICE agent? Was he in the way of the car?
• 42:27
Speaker 15: And that is the that is what. If he wasn't
• 42:31
Speaker 15: in the way of the car, he had no business
• 42:33
Speaker 15: shooting her because all she was doing was driving away.
• 42:36
Speaker 15: If he was in the way of the car and
• 42:38
Speaker 15: she was trying to run him over, well and he's
• 42:43
  Speaker 15: got a defense.
• 42:44
Speaker 5: Texas pretty interesting that everyone is chestpoundingly demanding the release
• 42:48
Speaker 5: of all the names of the Epstein files, and yet
• 42:50
Speaker 5: at the same time, these very same people are bending
• 42:52
Speaker 5: over backwards and encouraging violence to make sure that ICE
• 42:55
Speaker 5: cannot apprehend illegal child sex abusers and traffickers. That's interesting.
• 43:00
Speaker 5: Waltz Fry and Ellison are milking this insanity for every
• 43:04
Speaker 5: despicable evil point they can get. Tell them to tone
• 43:06
Speaker 5: down the rh rhetoric and tell people to stop.
• 43:09
Speaker 15: And do you know what the political what the president
• 43:12
Speaker 15: has done here by sending ice into Minneapolis like that,
• 43:17
Speaker 15: he has taken the narrative away from the nine billion
• 43:24
Speaker 15: dollars that was stolen up there. When was the last
• 43:29
Speaker 15: time you heard about that? You know what I'm talking
• 43:30
  Speaker 15: about with Somalia.
• 43:34
  Speaker 16: And.
• 43:35
Speaker 15: You don't even hear about that.
• 43:37
  Speaker 5: Now.
• 43:37
  Speaker 15: Now you're hearing about a nurse, a v. A. Narth
• 43:42
Speaker 15: being shot ten times ten in the streets from Minneapolis.
• 43:49
Speaker 15: He had a phone in one hand and he was
• 43:52
Speaker 15: helping a woman that had been pepper spray with another Texas.
• 43:56
Speaker 5: In twenty ten, the Obama administration sued Arizona over its
• 43:59
Speaker 5: contra reversial immigration law SB ten seventy, arguing that violated
• 44:03
Speaker 5: the Constitution's supremacy clause by infringing on federal authority over
• 44:07
Speaker 5: immigration policy. But Department of Justice argue the law created
• 44:10
Speaker 5: an independent, restrictive immigration scheme that conflicted with federal government
• 44:15
Speaker 5: that set the president for Mississippi.
• 44:17
Speaker 15: I think that that the Supreme Court has changed since then,
• 44:23
Speaker 15: and I think that the States might have more rights now.
• 44:27
Speaker 15: I'm not sure. I'm not sure if there have any
• 44:30
Speaker 15: subsequent cases. Maybe the the I remember that case, but

  Speaker 5: I don't think he wasn't illegal.
• 47:35
  Speaker 16: I don't think he was.
• 47:36
Speaker 15: I think he was an Afghan national that had come
• 47:41
Speaker 15: here because he had been an interpreter for US during
• 47:45
  Speaker 15: the war.
• 47:46
Speaker 19: Yeah, TJ you went to weigh in on that he
• 47:48
Speaker 19: was here. I legally, the administration had granted him asylum.
• 47:52
Speaker 19: He was here, as the mayor said, because of his
• 47:54
Speaker 19: works as an interpreter. I believe that the CIA may
• 47:57
Speaker 19: may have been a different agency. But he was here
• 47:59
Speaker 19: in the country legally, all.
• 48:01
Speaker 15: Right now, But I gotta get the point. I'll give
• 48:04
Speaker 15: you one totally. On the other side, I don't know
• 48:08
Speaker 15: how long it's been. Could have been fifteen, twenty years ago.
• 48:12
Speaker 15: I don't remember. Maybe somebody out there does. San Francisco
• 48:18
Speaker 15: there was an illegal, multi criminal in jail in San Francisco,
• 48:26
Speaker 15: and Ice put a hold on him and asked him,
• 48:30
Speaker 15: asked that let us let us have him when he
• 48:32
Speaker 15: gets out. Of course, San Francisco is not going to cooperate.
• 48:36
Speaker 15: And he got out and killed a woman. Yeah, so
• 48:41
Speaker 15: that's the other side of the art.
• 48:42
Speaker 5: There's always another side, Yeah, text says Donald Trump has
• 48:45
Speaker 5: already said take all their guns and sort of out
• 48:47
  Speaker 5: later says a text. I don't.
• 48:49
Speaker 3: I don't you know he did, did you?
• 48:51
  Speaker 7: Actually?
• 48:52
Speaker 5: I wasn't gonna argue with the textas and I didn't know.
• 48:55
Speaker 15: That it was an offhanded to Mark remark. He was
• 48:58
Speaker 15: at a meeting and he was just being himself. I
• 49:01
Speaker 15: don't think he actually meant it. But I don't know
• 49:03
Speaker 15: what he means. I mean Trump, I don't know that.
• 49:05
Speaker 5: Trump knows what he means Texas. So Trump actually said
• 49:08
Speaker 5: only criminals have gun? Sounds like the Night of Long
• 49:10
Speaker 5: Knives is starting, says a texture. Text says, and just
• 49:14
Speaker 5: like I said, why are you hearing about nothing but
• 49:16
Speaker 5: Minneapolis now? Because they're milking this for everything they can,
• 49:20
Speaker 5: Just like twenty twenty, these insane rioters have set up
• 49:22
Speaker 5: no go zones that have called for the deaths of
• 49:24
Speaker 5: ice agents. Enough is enough?
• 49:29
Speaker 3: Can you repeat that?
• 49:30
Speaker 5: And like I said, this is textra And like I said,
• 49:33
Speaker 5: why are you hearing about nothing but Minneapolis now? Because
• 49:35
Speaker 5: they're milking this for everything they can, just like twenty twenty.
• 49:39
Speaker 5: These insane rioters have set up no go zones and
• 49:42
Speaker 5: have called for the deaths of ice agents. Enough is enough?
• 49:47
Speaker 15: They would be the people in Minneapolis that are demonstrating,
• 49:51
Speaker 15: yes should we should they not be allowed to?
• 49:55
Speaker 5: Well, I don't think anybody has a problem with people demonstrating.
• 49:58
Speaker 5: Oh I think they do, David, But well, people do.
• 50:00
Speaker 5: But I but I do think that if you are
• 50:02
Speaker 5: calling for the death of ice agents.
• 50:05
  Speaker 3: No, I don't.
• 50:05
  Speaker 5: I don't go along.
• 50:06
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 50:07
Speaker 16: I know, of course not.
• 50:08
Speaker 5: I don't think you go along with anybody. Ryan, Do
• 50:10
Speaker 5: we have a we have a call? Or okay, I'm sorry,
• 50:12
Speaker 5: we have a call. Let's go to the phones. Uh,

• 50:20
Speaker 20: go ahead? Oh okay, I didn't get a chance to
• 50:23

• 50:28
Speaker 5: Yes, sir, Well, we lost don.
• 50:33
Speaker 3: We established that it was Don in tornado. Then we
• 50:35
Speaker 3: lost like a thud.
• 50:36
Speaker 5: Maybe maybe Donn is in a tornado. You know, you
• 50:38
Speaker 5: may have a minute if you want to try to
• 50:41
Speaker 5: call back, you can try to call back. We lost you,
• 50:43
Speaker 5: We lost you there, but uh, you know, I think
• 50:46
Speaker 5: that nobody has a problem with protesting, But when you
• 50:50
Speaker 5: crossed the line, and I've said I've been very consistent
• 50:53
Speaker 5: about this when it came to riots in any city
• 50:56
Speaker 5: over George Floyd or the La riots in the early knighties,
• 50:59
Speaker 5: once you cross the line, when you.
• 51:00
  Speaker 3: Start breaking up.
• 51:01
Speaker 5: And by the way, January sixth was the same thing. No,
• 51:05
Speaker 5: you know you've crossed the line. Do we have Don back?
• 51:07
  Speaker 4: All right?
• 51:08
Speaker 5: We got Don Don You got about a minute, go ahead?
• 51:11
Speaker 20: Okay. Well, in the first place, you were talking about
• 51:13
Speaker 20: once you become once you set foot on the soil,
• 51:16
Speaker 20: you got certain rights. Well, then Obama claimed he deported
• 51:22
Speaker 20: so many people by them just stepping over into the
• 51:24
Speaker 20: United States and then he would deport them back. So
• 51:26
Speaker 20: apparently that is legal to do. Another thing. I want
• 51:30
Speaker 20: somebody to explain to me if they can, and if
• 51:34
Speaker 20: they can explain it to me, I'll be good with it.
• 51:37
Speaker 20: What's the difference between this shooting in Minneapolis this time
• 51:41
Speaker 20: then the shooting of an on armed protester on January
• 51:45
Speaker 20: sixth by the name of Ashley BABBITTT I mean Michael
• 51:49
Speaker 20: Bird got a medal from the president for killing her.
• 51:52
Speaker 5: Right okay, all right, Danny want to respond to that.

Speaker 15: Well, look, she was settled. Her family got a fire
• 52:00
