- 1:05Speaker 1: Setups beautiful, thank you.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Absolutely look at this setup.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Good looking set up right here, good looking.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Bunch good look an Italian bunch show. I love that,
- 1:17Speaker 3: I love the horn, I got mess with the bull.
- 1:21Speaker 3: You get the horns the Italian So tell me, gentlemen,
- 1:28Speaker 3: tell everybody about yourselves and what you guys do you
- 1:31Speaker 3: they are? They are a YouTube sensation and uh an
- 1:34Speaker 3: instagram sensation. So and that guy said two for the
- 1:38Speaker 3: price of one, tell us about it.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Oh, thank you. I mean we've been doing the full
- 1:42Speaker 1: time content now, uh, full time. Six months after leaving
- 1:45Speaker 1: the Union, we were more or less New York Union guys.
- 1:47Speaker 1: We got in during the pandemic. So I started making
- 1:49Speaker 1: my first video as a joke. Father got involved. Two
- 1:53Speaker 1: years later, Nikki ended up getting involved in now Together
- 1:55Speaker 1: as a family. You know, where we're putting out content
- 1:58Speaker 1: that I think people are liking and they're seeing a
- 2:00Speaker 1: little bit more about us in our families.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah, what kind of content do we put now?
- 2:04Speaker 1: That's good. Our content is very very uh it's not
- 2:06Speaker 1: in a box, right. So we do some Italian American content.
- 2:09Speaker 1: We do a lot of New York comedy. We do
- 2:11Speaker 1: a lot of just shot comedy because our sense a
- 2:13Speaker 1: humor is just like it's funny, you know. We do
- 2:15Speaker 1: a lot of stuff we do a lot of videos
- 2:18Speaker 1: busting my dad's bulls. Then we'll switch it up and
- 2:20Speaker 1: even do videos of him cooking. So it's like we
- 2:22Speaker 1: just constantly switch up our content.
- 2:24Speaker 3: So it's like the day in the life. This is
- 2:25Speaker 3: a day long anyway, bust dad's bulls, doing content, and Dad,
- 2:31Speaker 3: I understand, is a very good cook. And you guys
- 2:34Speaker 3: are filming, filming a lot of his cooking and a
- 2:38Speaker 3: lot of his recipes.
- 2:40Speaker 1: I feel banned. We didn't even cook. I wish we
- 2:42Speaker 1: could have put in sample.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I know usually they don't come hand to hand.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, no, it's not a good look on our part.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Ye know, he's an insane cook, unreal, like doesn't do
- 2:56Speaker 1: any of his's old school. He's from that clothe where
- 2:58Speaker 1: nothing's measured. Seah little it is. I put that.
- 3:01Speaker 3: I just know that's a true cook recipes. I don't
- 3:05Speaker 3: cook with any recipes. I don't cook with like a
- 3:08Speaker 3: pinch here, a pinch there. That's how Italians cooked. That's
- 3:11Speaker 3: how true Italians cook.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Right, absolutely, A pincher a punch do you guys cook? Yeah,
- 3:19Speaker 1: we're learning, but like we're not that confident yet, but
- 3:22Speaker 1: we're getting there. Like I'm learning how to make the sores. Like,
- 3:24Speaker 1: we could probably try some colleges to some vegetables. You
- 3:27Speaker 1: know we've grilled before. I make a really good scrambled egg.
- 3:30Speaker 1: That's my specialty. But how freaking hard is it?
- 3:32Speaker 3: If we're being honest, you know what jo your child's side.
- 3:35Speaker 3: If you could poach an egg, you could cook anything. True. Yes,
- 3:39Speaker 3: it's the hardest thing to do with egg and to
- 3:41Speaker 3: cook eggs? It is. So who's the better cook in
- 3:44Speaker 3: the family? Is it your dad? Is it your mom?
- 3:46Speaker 1: I think you listen, my mother is great, right, but
- 3:48Speaker 1: my father he just has it, you know, someone just
- 3:51Speaker 1: got something. He's just got like no one he has
- 3:53Speaker 1: like that. He has such a passion for cooking. And
- 3:56Speaker 1: it's funny because it's almos stressful when we go out
- 3:58Speaker 1: to eat, because it's like, you know, he's not going
- 3:59Speaker 1: to be that in wherever we go because he's such
- 4:01Speaker 1: a good cook, you know what I mean. And he
- 4:03Speaker 1: learned from my grandma over the years. My grandmother she
- 4:06Speaker 1: was the best cook in the world too, and she
- 4:08Speaker 1: used to make lasagna up until she was ninety five
- 4:10Speaker 1: years old. She would make the panel lasagna every Christmas.
- 4:13Speaker 1: She was the best she's one hundred and one, one
- 4:15Speaker 1: hundred and one May fifteen, should one hundred and two.
- 4:17Speaker 3: She still it's amazing Italy is.
- 4:20Speaker 1: From she's so it's actually funny. I wish she was
- 4:23Speaker 1: from Italy. She's not. Her parents are from Italy. Where
- 4:26Speaker 1: are they from? Different? I think they're I think they're
- 4:28Speaker 1: from Genoaa. We're like four different types of time where
- 4:31Speaker 1: you're Sicilian, Nopoli, don general, calibrace or something, calibra, something
- 4:38Speaker 1: like that.
- 4:38Speaker 3: You don't know where you're from.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I know two or three out of four. Yeah, Sicilian, Yes, Sicilian?
- 4:45Speaker 3: Your Sicilian. That's it. You know that right once you're Sicilian?
- 4:48Speaker 3: Your Sicilian. Yes, I'm Sicilian solid well seventy five percent,
- 4:53Speaker 3: but I'm Sicilian. That's it. Yeah, that's all.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I gotta ask, what's the whole like beef with the
- 4:58Speaker 1: Sicilian and the Italian and then not and then it's
- 5:00Speaker 1: like you're Sicilian. Like I've heard that, Yeah, so many people.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Well, because you know, it's it's it's they are different,
- 5:05Speaker 3: they're different dialects. It's like the North and the South, right,
- 5:09Speaker 3: So it's kind of like that, that's what it is.
- 5:11Speaker 3: And Sicilian Sicily was the area of the We were
- 5:17Speaker 3: like the slaves. Yes we're all the Yes we were.
- 5:21Speaker 3: We were the slaves of Italy and all the kings
- 5:24Speaker 3: and queens used to come there for for for a vacation.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Basically with Sicily was like the vacation area for the
- 5:30Speaker 3: wealthy and the rich. Yeah, so you know, and we
- 5:34Speaker 3: are so yeah. So that's kind of like our dialect
- 5:37Speaker 3: is completely different. I know, when somebody speaks and you
- 5:39Speaker 3: speaking Sicilian or Northern speaking, let's say, from northern Italy
- 5:43Speaker 3: from Lovely Donald Calibre and not Calibrets or general from Genoa,
- 5:48Speaker 3: the dialect sounds completely different.
- 5:51Speaker 1: That makes sense too, because I feel like a lot
- 5:53Speaker 1: of people who are Sicilians say like the North always
- 5:55Speaker 1: looks down on the Cicilian. That's it's true, you know
- 5:57Speaker 1: what I mean. And that with that, I didn't even
- 5:59Speaker 1: know that history. So that makes was like in the north, right.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Rome is the is the mecca. That's like, that's like
- 6:03Speaker 3: there there, that was, That's like there was the center
- 6:06Speaker 3: of the universe at that time. So when you when
- 6:08Speaker 3: I when I went to Italy and I went to
- 6:09Speaker 3: Rome and I told them I was I said I
- 6:12Speaker 3: was from Sicily. They were like, oh, they looked at
- 6:15Speaker 3: me like I was a disgrace. Yeah, still till this day.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we've never been to Italy.
- 6:21Speaker 3: It's beautiful, girl friend, It's beautiful there.
- 6:26Speaker 1: She brought it back possible. She bought from Positano. It
- 6:30Speaker 1: looks hand craft.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Everything is is fresh, everything is is handmade, everything, everything
- 6:36Speaker 3: is slower there. There's they have a siesta time in
- 6:39Speaker 3: the middle of the day.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Like for them, like lunch is like our dinner, Like
- 6:43Speaker 1: lunch is their big meal. That's that's love that bring
- 6:46Speaker 1: that to.
- 6:46Speaker 3: New because everybody here was so fast, right, isn't it crazy?
- 6:52Speaker 1: But I hear that in Italy that like the fish
- 6:55Speaker 1: out of is like the freshest fish you're going to get.
- 6:57Speaker 1: And I hear that Italian American dishes on like like
- 7:00Speaker 1: if you go to Italy, they're not serving like like
- 7:02Speaker 1: chicken palms and like frog with marinata source. They're doing
- 7:06Speaker 1: with just a little lemon. Apparently.
- 7:07Speaker 3: What's funny in Italy is that when especially as Americans Italians,
- 7:11Speaker 3: when we go to Italy. I found this to be
- 7:13Speaker 3: true is when I went to a restaurant there, they
- 7:15Speaker 3: order everything in courses and the portions are smaller like
- 7:18Speaker 3: when we go to eat, we think, well, like we
- 7:20Speaker 3: want it all, just bring it to the table, right,
- 7:22Speaker 3: that's how we are there. It's everything is smaller portions
- 7:26Speaker 3: and it's it's not as as as zuber and a
- 7:30Speaker 3: is like we have it here. Yeah, that's what it is.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I think I've seen something recently, didn't Italy. Wasn't Italy
- 7:35Speaker 1: like the first country to ban like lab meat, like
- 7:39Speaker 1: processed lag grown meat. Yeah, they stand that recently.
- 7:43Speaker 3: No, well, I mean everything that was fresh.
- 7:45Speaker 1: That's why what way way lack and something. Everything is
- 7:50Speaker 1: processed like Italy. You just gotta go in Italy like
- 7:53Speaker 1: they're people ninety five years old and they're moving like
- 7:55Speaker 1: they're twenty five.
- 7:56Speaker 3: They're the oldest population. Yeah, they have one of the
- 7:59Speaker 3: oldest populations in Italy.
- 8:00Speaker 1: That's true.
- 8:01Speaker 3: That is true. And you guys got to get over
- 8:02Speaker 3: there now now that you have to learn your heritage.
- 8:05Speaker 3: You have to get over there with such fake Italian.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Your parents don't speak.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I don't speak it. My grandma spoke it, but she
- 8:11Speaker 1: she's more like to mension now, so she does. She
- 8:13Speaker 1: can't really teach us now and we never learned growing up.
- 8:15Speaker 3: So that's gotta be on your bucket list. You gotta
- 8:18Speaker 3: do that. But now you have you have what they
- 8:20Speaker 3: have those what you will call it the Rosetta.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Stone, the phone.
- 8:24Speaker 3: But you have to go to Italy and I think
- 8:27Speaker 3: to learn to speak if you want there to learn
- 8:30Speaker 3: spending time there is where you're going to.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Learn how to speak Italian. I just can't wait to go.
- 8:34Speaker 1: It just looks so beautiful. I take my fault. My
- 8:36Speaker 1: parents never been either. I got to bring It's a
- 8:40Speaker 1: lot of walking.
- 8:41Speaker 3: There is a lot of walking. There is a lot
- 8:43Speaker 3: of picture picture the Godfather going up Italy, going up
- 8:49Speaker 3: the mountains with the donkey. That's what it's like. Yeah,
- 8:52Speaker 3: it is, but but it's but the food is excellent.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I don't think I've ever eaten anything in Italy that
- 8:58Speaker 3: I didn't like. There was There wasn't like a bad
- 9:01Speaker 3: dish that I had there.
- 9:02Speaker 1: What was your favorite dish when you were there? Question?
- 9:04Speaker 1: So many?
- 9:07Speaker 3: I mean, I mean obviously all the fresh pasta. You know,
- 9:10Speaker 3: I had this squidding pasca in in Florence. That was wonderful.
- 9:14Speaker 3: That was great, And every every part of Italy just
- 9:17Speaker 3: has a different kind of eclectic like uh you know,
- 9:21Speaker 3: uh cuisine. So it's all different. You know. They have
- 9:24Speaker 3: their own specialty and their own certain areas and certain
- 9:26Speaker 3: vegetables grow in certain areas, certain spices, you know, so
- 9:29Speaker 3: it's different, you know, different fishes. Yeah, yes, yes, So
- 9:35Speaker 3: you guys are gonna have to go there. Maybe you
- 9:37Speaker 3: can start a cooking show there.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I would love that. So beautiful, like the scenery there,
- 9:41Speaker 1: everything we got to get there. Yeah, we're fucking Staten Island.
- 9:44Speaker 1: That we're on an island that you can't go in
- 9:46Speaker 1: the water, going to water.
- 9:49Speaker 3: We definitely don't want to eat dishes.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Imagine might I see tomorrow.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I've never left Staten Island. Have you been in anyplace else?
- 9:56Speaker 3: What's that?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we've traveled, like we went to the dr Jamaica
- 10:00Speaker 1: can't coom when we were younger, Montreal, Montreal, like we traveled.
- 10:03Speaker 1: We never really went to Europe like. It was always
- 10:05Speaker 1: almost like like around like either like Middle America or
- 10:08Speaker 1: South America. It was never like Europe, like I want
- 10:10Speaker 1: to go to Europe and just experience.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Everything, you know, and it's it's an experience.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, my girl went. I was so jealous.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Do you have a girlfriend too? No, I'm single, So
- 10:19Speaker 3: do you think you guys, do you think that? So
- 10:21Speaker 3: let me ask you a question. You have to date
- 10:22Speaker 3: the same girl?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Now, we never dated the same girl.
- 10:26Speaker 3: But did you ever to play a trick on them
- 10:28Speaker 3: and go out with another girl?
- 10:31Speaker 1: We use the twin card like when we were younger kids,
- 10:33Speaker 1: like in school obviously in classes and once or twice.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Do you think they could tell you apart?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Probably now? Yeah? Probably?
- 10:40Speaker 3: Now?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, we have different tattoos now right, he's got like
- 10:43Speaker 1: an extra saw. Okay, we got a few scollars and stuff.
- 10:46Speaker 1: But back in like in high school, it was hard
- 10:48Speaker 1: because it's like we had the same haircut, really no tattoos,
- 10:51Speaker 1: like you know what. It was like basically like the
- 10:52Speaker 1: teachers would get confused too.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Did you go to Catholic school?
- 10:55Speaker 1: Now? I went to public school the whole lives. Yeah,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I can't do the Catholic I couldn't. Wait, I couldn't
- 10:59Speaker 1: do the uniform through the uniform.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Is your family very religious?
- 11:03Speaker 1: So we're Catholic, but like we're not. We don't go
- 11:05Speaker 1: to church every Sunday and stuff like you know, like
- 11:07Speaker 1: we did we had confirmation, we had a communion and everything,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but uh, liked of we believe more like praying than
- 11:12Speaker 1: having to go to church like every Sunday. Yeah, we
- 11:14Speaker 1: got to go back though, got to go back.
- 11:16Speaker 3: So you don't feel like going to church is part
- 11:18Speaker 3: of being Italian.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I mean it definitely, it definitely is. I really we
- 11:21Speaker 1: should probably what it is because like a lot of
- 11:23Speaker 1: friends of ours, they have that true you know what
- 11:25Speaker 1: it is our family, like we were kind of an American family.
- 11:28Speaker 1: We're not like so consistent on every Sunday it's a
- 11:30Speaker 1: family dinner. Like we have a small family. So it's
- 11:32Speaker 1: that we never got together with like twenty people never
- 11:35Speaker 1: went to church, woke up or we're going to church.
- 11:37Speaker 1: You know, we never grew up with those like traditions,
- 11:39Speaker 1: but I definitely see them. We definitely got to get
- 11:41Speaker 1: more involved. Clearly we're missing out.
- 11:44Speaker 3: You know maybe when you guys have kids, that's what yeah, right,
- 11:48Speaker 3: because do you think you guys would be like living
- 11:51Speaker 3: near each other when you get married.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Definitely, Well we actually raised your kids together. We were
- 11:55Speaker 1: born on ash Wednesday, right, we were born were born
- 11:57Speaker 1: on Wednesday. I remember my mom. Yeah, look at us. Now.
- 12:01Speaker 1: It turned out we did absolutely never got years. It's
- 12:05Speaker 1: so bad, but uh yeah, I think so when we
- 12:08Speaker 1: when we grow up. We always wanted to have like
- 12:10Speaker 1: the spots together next to our neighbors something. What we
- 12:13Speaker 1: want to we'd like I plan for years is like
- 12:15Speaker 1: we want to get like our first house together and
- 12:17Speaker 1: just get like a fucking nuts house, like a man cave,
- 12:20Speaker 1: you know, like twin things. The giants man cave do
- 12:22Speaker 1: not bother.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Me and that's and that's it, just just just man cave.
- 12:26Speaker 3: How'd your girlfriend gonna feel about that?
- 12:28Speaker 1: Great point? My girlfriend I already lived with us, so Gianna,
- 12:32Speaker 1: it's so funny. Gianna. I met through my mother. My
- 12:35Speaker 1: mom worked with Gianna at the jewlry store. So when
- 12:37Speaker 1: I told people by dating my mom's friend, They're like,
- 12:39Speaker 1: had to fuck old? How old is? She's younger to me?
- 12:41Speaker 1: So it was hysterical how it well works, Like my
- 12:44Speaker 1: mom was the ultimate wingman. And now Gianna like we like,
- 12:47Speaker 1: I live with her, So it's like, I know what
- 12:48Speaker 1: it is. I love living with her already and Nikki does,
- 12:51Speaker 1: like we all enjoy living with each other, so that's
- 12:53Speaker 1: not going to be a problem.
- 12:54Speaker 3: So you live at.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Home, Yeah, we live at home. Yeah, we both live
- 12:56Speaker 1: at home. Yeah. Now you know, with the prices I'm
- 12:59Speaker 1: not buying a for a couple of years, you know
- 13:01Speaker 1: what I mean. And I feel like you're calling families
- 13:03Speaker 1: like they like as much as like how arrogant farmers
- 13:06Speaker 1: could be, Like you don't go to Warrior. They don't
- 13:08Speaker 1: want you to leave.
- 13:08Speaker 3: No, we don't want that's true. We don't want you
- 13:10Speaker 3: to leave. We want you to stay.
- 13:12Speaker 1: And like we contributed to it's just like right now,
- 13:14Speaker 1: you know, and everything that we got going on, it's
- 13:16Speaker 1: it's like the perfect fit. But you know, in a
- 13:17Speaker 1: couple of years, we're definitely gonna you know, move out,
- 13:20Speaker 1: but we're not rushing it because it's just we love
- 13:23Speaker 1: the house. I hear the same advice from everybody to say, literally,
- 13:26Speaker 1: stay at home as long as you can. Everyone that
- 13:28Speaker 1: moved out and as older tells us, stay at home
- 13:30Speaker 1: as long as you can.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Well, now, the twenties is like our is. The authority
- 13:36Speaker 3: of my thirties is like your forties, and my twenties
- 13:40Speaker 3: is like your thirties. That's what that's all the difference
- 13:43Speaker 3: in the generation. So I mean, you want to build
- 13:45Speaker 3: your brand now, of course, right, So you want to
- 13:48Speaker 3: if you want to get that old go andd you
- 13:49Speaker 3: guys have any contracts with anybody like you're doing on
- 13:52Speaker 3: your page. I mean know you like, are you advertising
- 13:55Speaker 3: for people on on Instagram?
- 13:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we do a lot of We do a
- 13:58Speaker 1: lot of brand deals. We work with a lot of
- 14:00Speaker 1: brands and it varies. We do some like Mama Pop
- 14:02Speaker 1: Shops from Staten Island from Jersey. Then we do like
- 14:05Speaker 1: a Popeyes deal or whatever the case. So but for
- 14:08Speaker 1: the most part, like we kind of we don't really
- 14:10Speaker 1: have like a set and stone like manager or agency
- 14:12Speaker 1: that we're working with. We kind of work with a
- 14:14Speaker 1: bunch of people, you know, and we sell. We broke
- 14:16Speaker 1: our own deals, like we negotiate. We broke everything. We
- 14:19Speaker 1: do everything more or less ourselves. And Danielle chat to Danielle.
- 14:22Speaker 1: She's helped us recent shout out to Danielle. Danielle, daniel
- 14:26Speaker 1: it's very nice.
- 14:27Speaker 3: That's how I got introduced to the both of you.
- 14:29Speaker 3: We love Danielle.
- 14:30Speaker 1: What do we meet? Like three weeks ago we.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Met at at the Lift.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It was three weeks, three weeks.
- 14:35Speaker 3: And then and just came out on on Netflix like
- 14:38Speaker 3: two days after we were there. We saw it.
- 14:40Speaker 1: You know, it's so funny. So many people see me
- 14:41Speaker 1: in the gym because I posted yeah version, people are like, oh,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I was looking for you in the movie. I was like,
- 14:46Speaker 1: we weren't in the fucking movie. We just have to premier, Like,
- 14:50Speaker 1: oh I thought you were in the movie. No, was
- 14:51Speaker 1: it in the movie. Movie could have been there. We
- 14:55Speaker 1: gave them some good promo because people were in the
- 14:57Speaker 1: movie were looking for us.
- 14:58Speaker 3: So that's true. Some free promos promo, welcome Kevivin, thank
- 15:03Speaker 3: us Kevin.
- 15:05Speaker 1: That was that was that was beautiful? Was that Lincoln Center?
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it was beautiful. It was a great it was
- 15:11Speaker 3: It was a fun premiere. Had a good time, right.
- 15:14Speaker 3: So yeah, So I was there with the with the
- 15:16Speaker 3: director that he's got up and coming director now. So
- 15:19Speaker 3: that's hopefully he's going to be in having some having
- 15:23Speaker 3: a deal with with Kevin's company soon. So I can't
- 15:27Speaker 3: talk about it, yeah, but I could say a little bit.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I hope that works out well, we hope.
- 15:31Speaker 3: So it's been you know, it takes a lot of
- 15:33Speaker 3: it takes a lot of time in Hollywood. It's not
- 15:35Speaker 3: it's not something that happens overnight. You know, There's been
- 15:37Speaker 3: projects on the table that have happened for it's cold
- 15:40Speaker 3: it could be for ten years, you know, and then
- 15:43Speaker 3: all of a sudden they just make decide to make
- 15:44Speaker 3: the movie. Well they have a whole they or they
- 15:46Speaker 3: go to a whole different direction, or another studio might
- 15:49Speaker 3: take it over. So yeah, so it's it's time. It's patients.
- 15:53Speaker 3: You know, the production side of Hollywood is crazy rough. Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 3: I mean, it's it's you have to be patient.
- 16:01Speaker 1: We've never even been to l A. Yeah, we've never
- 16:02Speaker 1: been to California.
- 16:03Speaker 3: You're not missing right now. The more I think more
- 16:06Speaker 3: creative people here in New York, I think we're more creative.
- 16:09Speaker 3: I think that we're more eclectic people here. What it is,
- 16:13Speaker 3: I can't and we want to work. The people there
- 16:15Speaker 3: don't work.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Bagels situation, We're going to California, New York, bagels, pizzazz.
- 16:21Speaker 3: You know why because it's the water. You know that
- 16:24Speaker 3: that's because we have the best water system.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Literally, people were trying to taking water to Florida and
- 16:30Speaker 3: restaurants down to Florida and selling them. But it's a
- 16:33Speaker 3: federal offense. You're not supposed to be doing that. But
- 16:36Speaker 3: it's because of the water makes everything taste better.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He worked in the water department that was the union
- 16:40Speaker 1: job we did.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Yeah, great job.
- 16:44Speaker 1: After two years, year and a half, year and a half,
- 16:47Speaker 1: no more water. But I'll tell you the quality is
- 16:50Speaker 1: fantastic and you.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Kept it good. They were there.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean.
- 16:59Speaker 3: And so done working for the city.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Now, yeah we left. We actually did resign five six
- 17:04Speaker 1: months ago. I know obviously all the union guys you know,
- 17:09Speaker 1: we had. It was a tough decision for us because
- 17:11Speaker 1: it's like we landed a great job and then like
- 17:14Speaker 1: this this took off. So it was like we were
- 17:16Speaker 1: missing opportunities with the union because we couldn't do our
- 17:19Speaker 1: which was our side hustle at the time, which was
- 17:21Speaker 1: the videos. We would have to plan like one event
- 17:23Speaker 1: like a month in advance when we both had the
- 17:25Speaker 1: same schedule, and we were like, we just keep missing windows.
- 17:27Speaker 1: We got to take this sleep now, so tell.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Me how your take off. So, like you get up
- 17:30Speaker 3: in the morning, so what is so? What is it?
- 17:32Speaker 3: What is it day? What does the day look like.
- 17:34Speaker 1: For you to I gotta tell you what right, since
- 17:37Speaker 1: like this it is a weird thing being in like
- 17:38Speaker 1: the video world because it's like you're you could make
- 17:41Speaker 1: amounts of money in such short times and so significantly
- 17:44Speaker 1: and it's like, all right, then you feel so unfulfilled
- 17:46Speaker 1: for the rest of the day. But typically wake up
- 17:48Speaker 1: cup of coffee, uh black, okay, right, you know, gotta
- 17:53Speaker 1: get weird, and then normally right to the gym and
- 17:55Speaker 1: Nikki go to the gym. We trained either box do
- 17:57Speaker 1: jiu jitsu, or we lift weights, and after that we're
- 18:01Speaker 1: focused on making a video part.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Of your videos in the gym.
- 18:04Speaker 1: To be honest, we don't. We wanted to incorporate more
- 18:07Speaker 1: content like that this year, but we don't really incorporate that.
- 18:10Speaker 1: We haven't and but yeah, we're eventually going to get
- 18:12Speaker 1: into like more of like the fitness realm or whatever.
- 18:14Speaker 1: But as of right now, our did like we'll wake
- 18:17Speaker 1: up coffee, Jim do a skit, uh either email players,
- 18:21Speaker 1: try to reach out to brands, see what's on the table,
- 18:23Speaker 1: what leads we got, and uh, we kind of just
- 18:25Speaker 1: play it day by day because sometimes we'll be busy
- 18:27Speaker 1: as fuck for like four days and then we'll have
- 18:29Speaker 1: two or three days where we could sit back and
- 18:30Speaker 1: like reflect. So our schedules still we're still learning, Like
- 18:33Speaker 1: our schedule is not setting stone at all. You know,
- 18:36Speaker 1: we definitely want to get like our own office space eventually,
- 18:38Speaker 1: just so we could like you know, have our own
- 18:40Speaker 1: spot to be like this is where we're working, you
- 18:42Speaker 1: know what I mean. Sometimes we can't get shit done
- 18:43Speaker 1: in the house, right, it's not even a house. That's
- 18:45Speaker 1: probably why. But like.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Maybe you want to think about moving out here.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Yeah, an environmental change is always good, you know what
- 18:53Speaker 1: I mean, even if I'm creating the city one day.
- 18:54Speaker 1: It's like we used to work here. I used to
- 18:56Speaker 1: work here fucking years. And sometimes you get a little lazier.
- 18:59Speaker 1: In the content world, you can get comb quick, people
- 19:02Speaker 1: get comport yourself, and you know, we we work. We
- 19:05Speaker 1: just want to work constantly. Nothing's ever good enough. This
- 19:07Speaker 1: video did a million. Let's doing tomorrow that does two million?
- 19:10Speaker 1: You know, you can never see enough views and ship?
- 19:14Speaker 3: What is what was what is your What was your
- 19:16Speaker 3: best video that you think that you did?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Great? Great? Great question. So there's ones that like did
- 19:21Speaker 1: more views, and then there's ones that like were really influential,
- 19:24Speaker 1: you know, like the Tommy Cutlets ones we did started
- 19:27Speaker 1: the Tommy Cutlets name the Mariners video I did a
- 19:30Speaker 1: few years ago. You did a few one TikTok I
- 19:31Speaker 1: did like twelve fifteen mil. Yeah, yeah, did not enough
- 19:34Speaker 1: source with dad, so many like little clips, like little
- 19:38Speaker 1: one line is that I think I'm one of my
- 19:40Speaker 1: fun I'm one of our funniest videos. I think is
- 19:42Speaker 1: the Scottidel's one. Yeah, Scottidell's Yeah, scoppy, yeah, you know
- 19:45Speaker 1: Scottidel's right. The fact, Yeah, we did it with Frank.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You know the Food Boss. You have to see the
- 19:50Speaker 1: Food Boss. Yes, Frank, it's Frank and us have been
- 19:53Speaker 1: neighbors for twenty years, ironically hysterical. It was his birthday party.
- 19:57Speaker 1: We did the Scottidel's. We whacked them on the table
- 19:59Speaker 1: and my dad I had sixty too, so we couldn't
- 20:01Speaker 1: get there. So he was just yeah, I put it up.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But it's a ready there. It's just great. It's great.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But uh, it's so many videos, so many fun we're
- 20:09Speaker 1: doing so many because we're posting every day. It's like
- 20:10Speaker 1: I can't even think.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Now that So the brand, so the brands are finding you.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Then basically for.
- 20:16Speaker 1: The most part, they'll reach out. There's some brands that
- 20:18Speaker 1: we've reached out to and then we've you know, done
- 20:20Speaker 1: deals that way. But for the most part they reach
- 20:22Speaker 1: out to us.
- 20:23Speaker 3: They're they're rear current with you.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Some some of them are some of them like we
- 20:26Speaker 1: did a few like monthly partnerships one, some of them
- 20:28Speaker 1: are one and done. It all kind of depends, you know,
- 20:30Speaker 1: but uh yeah, we're always we would love the long
- 20:33Speaker 1: term like relationships with a brand. You know, as of
- 20:36Speaker 1: right now it's been more short term every few months
- 20:37Speaker 1: or one or two videos, but definitely open to long
- 20:40Speaker 1: term partnerships.
- 20:40Speaker 3: And you see this as gonna as something that is
- 20:43Speaker 3: going to grow for you.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You feel like that's good for you definitely.
- 20:47Speaker 3: So what's your next what's your next goals after this?
- 20:49Speaker 1: So there's a lot like first and foremost, this is
- 20:51Speaker 1: new year. We wanted to kind of start implementing newer content.
- 20:54Speaker 1: We wanted to start focusing on more long form content
- 20:56Speaker 1: as well, and my demonetization aspect, because we're making money
- 21:00Speaker 1: off brand deals little merch, but we're lacking a lot
- 21:02Speaker 1: on monetization alone, so we want to obviously expand our knowledge.
- 21:06Speaker 1: We got to learn every.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Fund ye are you posting on YouTube too?
- 21:09Speaker 1: YouTube? Where we are posting on YouTube every day. We
- 21:11Speaker 1: are yet to crack the code. It's still slowly building
- 21:14Speaker 1: up YouTube still every day We'll post everything. It's what everything.
- 21:17Speaker 1: If it doesn't hit, you just keep posting. It will
- 21:18Speaker 1: eventually hit. But I'll tell you what, Like, the goal
- 21:20Speaker 1: right now is sick, be as seen as possible, get
- 21:22Speaker 1: as many eyes on us and our father and just
- 21:24Speaker 1: our overall image. Build it up until hopefully when our
- 21:27Speaker 1: show comes out, hopefully it's sooner than fucking later. The
- 21:29Speaker 1: show that we filmed, uh, would give us a lot
- 21:32Speaker 1: of new eyes. And we're hoping where we could take
- 21:34Speaker 1: that step and be in there, even reality TV show World.
- 21:36Speaker 1: We also have done a bunch of little acting gigs
- 21:38Speaker 1: as well. So films are calling. I believe great writers.
- 21:41Speaker 1: We love that you want to write. Do you want
- 21:44Speaker 1: to write a film? Yes? Like big goal, since maybe
- 21:46Speaker 1: we could write a film. I would love hysterical films, like.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the three of us could rule the world.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah, hell yeah we could. We could write. We could
- 21:54Speaker 1: write some funny. I didn't even go crazy, but yeah
- 21:58Speaker 1: it's crazy. So like ever since high school, me, my
- 22:00Speaker 1: brother and my best one of my best friends, Pete,
- 22:02Speaker 1: we've always said, like he's he's in law school, he's
- 22:04Speaker 1: a better be a lawyer. And we're doing this and
- 22:05Speaker 1: We're like, eventually, by the time we're like twenty five thirty,
- 22:08Speaker 1: we're gonna do like what Seth Rogan and James Franco
- 22:10Speaker 1: did when they all came together and made all these movies.
- 22:12Speaker 1: And we want to just do like write our own scripts,
- 22:14Speaker 1: like we want to be like the next Scorsese Tarantino
- 22:17Speaker 1: movie guys, because that's literally we're like movie nerds, Like
- 22:19Speaker 1: that's all we do is watch movies, and we just
- 22:21Speaker 1: want to like write our own shit and just put
- 22:23Speaker 1: it out there.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Do you like funny movies?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Do you like love funny movie? We also we work
- 22:27Speaker 1: with these kids from Boston Prejuto, Poppy and Tommy Guarino.
- 22:30Speaker 1: They do like these Deli skits and we do a
- 22:32Speaker 1: lot of shit with them. And yes, it's at more
- 22:34Speaker 1: comedy based, like we want to do like we see
- 22:36Speaker 1: ourselves in like that Sandler, Rob Schneider, Kevin James Spade
- 22:39Speaker 1: thing too, as well as the more serious like we
- 22:42Speaker 1: personally like not like we think that we we are
- 22:44Speaker 1: one dimensional and we have a lot to offer, whether
- 22:47Speaker 1: it's serious comedy. We just test ourselves, fucking see.
- 22:50Speaker 3: What you tested ourselves every day?
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty much trying comingy out. Yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, no,
- 22:56Speaker 1: it's amazing.
- 22:58Speaker 3: So you want to write scripts, have any ideas for
- 23:00Speaker 3: any scripts right now? Anything that's just so good ideas.
- 23:04Speaker 1: There's definitely some ideas like that. There's my cousin who
- 23:07Speaker 1: passed a couple of years ago. We definitely want to
- 23:09Speaker 1: write like a movie like depicting his life because he
- 23:12Speaker 1: was like the most legendary person of all time. Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: it was like unreal. A few like we've touched on subjects.
- 23:17Speaker 1: My buddy PE's always flowing the idea of this this
- 23:19Speaker 1: one script he has, you know, and then there's like
- 23:22Speaker 1: we we it's like so hard because it's so hard
- 23:24Speaker 1: to start. We feel like in the scripts it's like
- 23:26Speaker 1: we don't know where to start. It's funny, but uh,
- 23:29Speaker 1: it's tough. It's a tough one man.
- 23:31Speaker 3: It's hard to It's hard. You gotta get an idea
- 23:34Speaker 3: and then you gotta write. But the hardest part is
- 23:36Speaker 3: writing it. So maybe get someone else to write it
- 23:39Speaker 3: for you.
- 23:39Speaker 1: That's the thing. Though. We're both excellent writers. Like I
- 23:42Speaker 1: was always good in school at writing, just writing and history.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Sucked at math, sucked at science, just writing and history,
- 23:48Speaker 1: and like it sucked.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Yeah, on account and I'm not. I'm good at it,
- 23:51Speaker 3: but but like trick.
- 23:53Speaker 1: You don't know geometry and ship they put me in statistics,
- 23:58Speaker 1: but what the fuck with statistics? What am I?
- 24:00Speaker 3: But that would that you wouldn't need to know that
- 24:01Speaker 3: for YouTube and algorithms solid maybe that would have helped
- 24:06Speaker 3: them videos, right, terrible.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I'm terrible, But yeah, we're great, really are good writers.
- 24:12Speaker 1: And it's always came like so easy to us. Like
- 24:14Speaker 1: I remember in high school, you take the sa ts.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I wrote my sat SA in like eleven minutes, like
- 24:18Speaker 1: it just it comes easy to us. But it's like
- 24:20Speaker 1: we haven't really took the time to sit there and
- 24:22Speaker 1: like figure out what we want the movie to be
- 24:24Speaker 1: about and start yet. I guess it's because we've been busy.
- 24:26Speaker 1: We're so short still, we've just been doing it six
- 24:28Speaker 1: months full time. But we definitely have to take the
- 24:30Speaker 1: time eventually to sit down and write something. And your
- 24:33Speaker 1: dad's doing a full time Yeah, he's about to retire
- 24:35Speaker 1: from his city job, and probably the next couple of months,
- 24:38Speaker 1: I would say, definitely within this this year, and hopefully
- 24:41Speaker 1: if it's up to him, if he wants to do
- 24:42Speaker 1: it full time. We're more than happy. If he wants
- 24:44Speaker 1: to just relax and do his thing, you can do
- 24:46Speaker 1: whatever he wants to do. You know, they're from a
- 24:47Speaker 1: different cloth though, because like we could be like, yeah, dad,
- 24:49Speaker 1: we got this brand deal. It's like five thousand, Like
- 24:51Speaker 1: all right, oh dad, look we just got sent two
- 24:54Speaker 1: free bottles of olive oil. It's like, see this is
- 24:56Speaker 1: we gotta be doing more of them. He loves the
- 25:00Speaker 1: free products, like he's not used to it right now,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you know, He's like it's free, fuck it, you know
- 25:04Speaker 1: what I mean. So he loves getting products and ship
- 25:06Speaker 1: So it's great to see him like we actually brought him.
- 25:09Speaker 1: We went to the premiere for the About My Father movie,
- 25:11Speaker 1: for Sebastian and de Niro's movie. So it's like my
- 25:14Speaker 1: dad met de Niro, met Sebastian met Chaz, like he
- 25:17Speaker 1: met all his idols. So like us being able to
- 25:18Speaker 1: do that for him is just great. It's priceless.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Yeah, how was that movie?
- 25:22Speaker 1: I was good? Yeah, it was sick. We went in
- 25:23Speaker 1: the we met Sam Rockwell, Andrew Schultz, I met Uh.
- 25:27Speaker 1: It was so many people we never thought we'd be
- 25:29Speaker 1: in a room with four or five years ago because
- 25:31Speaker 1: we were two assholes from sett Island we were in
- 25:33Speaker 1: a room with so it was very exciting.
- 25:35Speaker 3: That was amazing. Yeah, and you got and you went
- 25:38Speaker 3: to the movie and went to the left like we.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Went the lift. It was awesome too. Oh my god. Yeah,
- 25:42Speaker 1: that was a great. It was a great premiere.
- 25:43Speaker 3: What are the premiers besides those?
- 25:45Speaker 1: And one more? We went to Ray Romano made a
- 25:47Speaker 1: movie called Somewhere Queens and that was about We went
- 25:51Speaker 1: like a year and a half ago. That was the
- 25:52Speaker 1: first one we ever went to. And we met Ray.
- 25:54Speaker 1: It was cool. We met who's the Roseburn? Rosebyrn Roseburn
- 25:59Speaker 1: was there. She was like sweetest. She didn't know it's cute. Yeah,
- 26:01Speaker 1: Like I was like, yeah, rose Burn, but uh, we've
- 26:04Speaker 1: seen her. She came up to me, She's like, are
- 26:05Speaker 1: these waters? She's like, could you just take these? I'm like,
- 26:07Speaker 1: I don't work here, but I think you could just
- 26:08Speaker 1: take You could just take whatever you want. You guys
- 26:10Speaker 1: work because we had a suit on, but like I
- 26:12Speaker 1: didn't really know because it was my first premiere. I
- 26:14Speaker 1: didn't know what it was all inclusive, you know, And
- 26:16Speaker 1: she just came up to I'm like, you could take
- 26:17Speaker 1: whatever you want. I think you know, hopefully I don't
- 26:19Speaker 1: judge you, but she was cool. It's so cool being
- 26:21Speaker 1: in these because you're like, you know, like you see
- 26:23Speaker 1: these people, You're like, what's really the difference between me
- 26:25Speaker 1: and them? You know what I mean? That's how I
- 26:27Speaker 1: see it. I'm like, I could do what they're fucking doing.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Of course you can.
- 26:30Speaker 1: You know what I mean, you totally could do what
- 26:31Speaker 1: that doing. We have a dynamic, I said.
- 26:34Speaker 3: There's a dynamic. You guys are funny. You're Italian, you know,
- 26:38Speaker 3: from New York. It's the whole shick, it's the whole thing.
- 26:41Speaker 1: People love that, Like if you're not from New York,
- 26:43Speaker 1: every other state they love the New York like, just
- 26:46Speaker 1: find it funny. They find it's so funny.
- 26:47Speaker 3: It's great because they don't get it. People don't get if.
- 26:49Speaker 1: After you get the New Yorkers who are like, oh,
- 26:51Speaker 1: you're not really from New York, you're from stan Island,
- 26:53Speaker 1: It's like, what are you saying?
- 26:56Speaker 3: The real Italians are still up from Brooklyn and Staten
- 26:59Speaker 3: Island and that's where they're from. There's nobody, there's no
- 27:02Speaker 3: there's no real pizzerias anymore left in the city. True, true,
- 27:05Speaker 3: it's sad, but it's true.
