- 0:00Speaker 1: WKBN.
- 0:01Speaker 2: 4.06 in the afternoon, NewsRadio 570. I'm glad it's Friday.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I'm really looking forward to the weekend. Get a little
- 0:10Speaker 2: R & R, a little rest. Friday, May 8th, it's, what,
- 0:14Speaker 2: 56 degrees, another cloudy overcast, a damp day in my
- 0:18Speaker 2: neck of the woods. NewsRadio 570. All right, Bubba Ganoush,
- 0:21Speaker 2: what was the intelligent point you wanted to make?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Intelligent?
- 0:25Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 0:26Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I got plenty of intelligent points.
- 0:29Speaker 5: Yeah, well... Try to come up with just one.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Okay. Let me think.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 0:35Speaker 4: I'll tell you what.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Oh, what I was trying to tell you is when
- 0:40Speaker 1: you're dealing with these people, you can't count on this.
- 0:44Speaker 1: You know, he's going to have to blow the hell
- 0:45Speaker 1: out of them because they're going to say, well, we'll
- 0:48Speaker 1: agree to this and they'll all postpone. And what they're
- 0:50Speaker 1: trying to do is get the Democrats to win because
- 0:53Speaker 1: then they can go to them and say, hey, give
- 0:55Speaker 1: us 1.5 trillion. You know what I mean? So they're
- 1:00Speaker 1: going to try to delay, delay, delay, delay. And you
- 1:02Speaker 1: heard that before. You heard that from other people.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:05Speaker 1: And by the way, if you read the Koran, if
- 1:09Speaker 1: I make an agreement, say I'm Islam, and I make
- 1:12Speaker 1: an agreement with Ron Verb, who's Christian, right? Guess what?
- 1:16Speaker 1: I don't have to honor the agreement. In the Koran,
- 1:19Speaker 1: it says you don't have to honor any agreement with
- 1:23Speaker 1: anybody unless they're Islam, because you're an infidel.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29Speaker 1: If you're not Islam, you're an infidel, and you don't
- 1:31Speaker 1: have to agree. You don't have to honor the agreement. Now,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I read that in 96, and that's why I tell people, man,
- 1:36Speaker 1: this is not a religion. It's a movement. It's not
- 1:40Speaker 1: a religion.
- 1:41Speaker 5: It's a movement.
- 1:42Speaker 1: And that's why women who are like, oh, yeah, then
- 1:45Speaker 1: I'm like, you're nuts. Sharia law and what they do
- 1:48Speaker 1: with women over there, and they're all motivated.
- 1:52Speaker 5: You're nuts.
- 1:53Speaker 1: You know what I mean? I tell the women, I said,
- 1:54Speaker 1: you got your head out right. You know what I mean?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Don't you agree? You see what they do with the women?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 5: I get it.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I just would like to see some type of resolution come.
- 2:06Speaker 2: You can't be there.
- 2:07Speaker 1: The only thing I know, Ron, blow the hell out
- 2:10Speaker 1: of them. Yeah.
- 2:10Speaker 5: Okay. Well, we shall see. We shall see. All right.
- 2:13Speaker 5: It's Bubba Ganoush. You're on air.
- 2:16Speaker 6: There are so many topics that we could touch today,
- 2:18Speaker 6: and I don't know where to start. Local, state, national, global.
- 2:23Speaker 6: Now we've got extraterrestrial, so you pick.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Where you want to begin. I want to cover them all.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Start with local.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Local. Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 6: The turnout, everything, primaries. I'm just going to see where
- 2:33Speaker 6: the chips land. You know, election is done. We'll see
- 2:36Speaker 6: where everything goes.
- 2:38Speaker 2: They say in our community here in Mahoney County, we
- 2:41Speaker 2: had a higher than normal turnout. So there was some
- 2:44Speaker 2: good news. I don't know about the state, but a
- 2:47Speaker 2: higher than a better turnout than in the past, but
- 2:50Speaker 2: still low compared to how many people have the ability
- 2:53Speaker 2: to vote.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 6: And I, We have an open primary. If you go in,
- 2:58Speaker 6: you say if you want a Democrat or a Republican ballot.
- 3:01Speaker 6: So I could have, I guess, just grabbed a Democrat
- 3:03Speaker 6: ballot and voted for everybody who I thought would eventually lose.
- 3:06Speaker 6: I don't know how many people would have done that,
- 3:09Speaker 6: but we'll see. We'll see what happens. This is why
- 3:12Speaker 6: we have primaries. We'll see what happens at the end
- 3:14Speaker 6: of the day, who actually gets elected and then what
- 3:17Speaker 6: they actually do. So time will tell. That's on the
- 3:19Speaker 6: local level. I don't have too much to say about that.
- 3:21Speaker 6: We'll see. On the state level... You know, Vivek, I
- 3:25Speaker 6: hope he does very well. Do you happen to hear
- 3:28Speaker 6: about his proposal for consolidating the universities in Ohio also?
- 3:34Speaker 5: Tell me about it.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Well, that's good.
- 3:37Speaker 6: I don't really know too much about it. But, you know,
- 3:40Speaker 6: just like people talk about here consolidating our public schools
- 3:44Speaker 6: because we've got too many of them in too many jurisdictions,
- 3:46Speaker 6: too many superintendents, too many of this, too many of that.
- 3:49Speaker 6: There's just too many universities in the state of Ohio
- 3:52Speaker 6: where we could have more basically branch campuses of Ohio State,
- 3:56Speaker 6: branch campus of Cincinnati, branch campus of Youngstown State, some
- 4:01Speaker 6: of the smaller schools. I don't know if that's a
- 4:02Speaker 6: good stance right now because a lot of these people, places,
- 4:06Speaker 6: you know, employ a lot of people. But at the
- 4:09Speaker 6: end of the day, he's probably right. You need to
- 4:10Speaker 6: cut a lot of these jobs that are, you know,
- 4:12Speaker 6: state funded if you're going to get rid of property taxes.
- 4:18Speaker 6: in the state of Ohio, or if you're going to
- 4:19Speaker 6: get rid of income tax. But, you know, I don't
- 4:24Speaker 6: know where it's going to go with that. It's just confusing,
- 4:26Speaker 6: and I haven't really heard too much about it other
- 4:28Speaker 6: than the blurb I saw. I didn't know if you
- 4:30Speaker 6: knew anything about it.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I have heard very little about it, but I saw
- 4:38Speaker 2: him talking the other day. It's not like he's talking
- 4:40Speaker 2: about closing down Youngstown State or the University of Akron.
- 4:45Speaker 5: I just..
- 4:47Speaker 2: Don't know what he would want to consolidate. I mean,
- 4:50Speaker 2: a lot of this stuff is easier said than it
- 4:53Speaker 2: is done.
- 4:53Speaker 5: I mean, it's... We.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Need a long runway to even get any of that accomplished.
- 5:00Speaker 6: That's one thing. And again, we'll see. There's a lot
- 5:03Speaker 6: that can happen until November. I mean, a whole lot.
- 5:05Speaker 6: We all know that. But obviously, I hope he does well.
- 5:08Speaker 6: I hope he wins. Amy Acton is just... I mean,
- 5:10Speaker 6: we could talk ad nauseum about how terrible that would
- 5:13Speaker 6: be on a state level. On a national level, I
- 5:17Speaker 6: tell you what, the Democrat, what happened in Virginia with
- 5:20Speaker 6: their state Supreme Court knocking down that gerrymandering, you know,
- 5:25Speaker 6: they were going to have a supermajority Democrat-run state. So
- 5:29Speaker 6: if that gets blocked now, we can actually go back
- 5:32Speaker 6: to normalcy there. What happened with that Supreme Court decision
- 5:36Speaker 6: last week, Louisiana, Clay, that you can't base congressional districts
- 5:41Speaker 6: off of, you know, skin color?
- 5:43Speaker 7: Yes.
- 5:44Speaker 6: That's a big change. Obviously, I want the SAVE Act.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I want you to be a U.S. citizen to vote.
- 5:49Speaker 6: But it also helps if they're not just picking and
- 5:52Speaker 6: choosing all these congressional districts for the Democrats to just win.
- 5:56Speaker 6: They don't need to have a message. They just need
- 5:58Speaker 6: to have the votes in the certain areas to get
- 6:00Speaker 6: the congressional seats. So that's a big thing moving forward.
- 6:06Speaker 6: On a global level, obviously everything with Iran... The 10-year
- 6:12Speaker 6: Treasury rates touched 4.5%, and then boom, we hear, oh, there's...
- 6:17Speaker 6: I can't even keep track of what the deal even
- 6:19Speaker 6: was the other day, because I'm so immune to it.
- 6:22Speaker 6: I'm so numb to this happened. We are ushering ships out.
- 6:26Speaker 6: Then we're not. We got attacked. Our destroyers, three of them,
- 6:30Speaker 6: shot down. They were just love taps. I don't know
- 6:32Speaker 6: what to even think anymore about that. But, I mean...
- 6:38Speaker 6: Has anything changed day to day? But every time that
- 6:40Speaker 6: 10-year treasury is 4.5%, something, in quotes, happens as a deal,
- 6:45Speaker 6: and it just gets pushed off to another day. I
- 6:48Speaker 6: can't keep track anymore. It's hard to even really want
- 6:51Speaker 6: to pay attention. I mean, our country's at war with
- 6:54Speaker 6: another nation, and I almost am at the point now
- 6:56Speaker 6: where it's like, I don't even need the information because
- 6:59Speaker 6: it's going to change two days later.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Right.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's so in flux and you don't know. You've been told, well,
- 7:05Speaker 2: they want a deal. They want to make a deal.
- 7:07Speaker 2: They want to make a deal. They being Iran. I've
- 7:09Speaker 2: been hearing that for weeks. Well, where's the deal? I'm
- 7:12Speaker 2: just saying that. You keep telling me they want to
- 7:14Speaker 2: make a deal. If they want to make a deal,
- 7:16Speaker 2: what seems to be the issue or the problem? I mean,
- 7:21Speaker 2: how much is talk and talk is cheap. Deeds are precious.
- 7:24Speaker 2: That's all I'm here to say. I mean, obviously, they
- 7:27Speaker 2: can't control a straight. Obviously, Where is the deal? If
- 7:35Speaker 2: they want to make a deal, I don't get it.
- 7:37Speaker 2: There's no doubt in my mind. I mean, I can
- 7:39Speaker 2: sit back and say there's no doubt in my mind
- 7:41Speaker 2: the U.S. military has devastated them, absolutely devastated them, and
- 7:47Speaker 2: their economy. I don't think they're sitting with a good
- 7:49Speaker 2: hand of.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Cards, do you?
- 7:52Speaker 6: Not at all, but they have all the time in
- 7:54Speaker 6: the world to try to wait this out because they're
- 7:57Speaker 6: ruled with an iron fist. We have elections in November.
- 8:00Speaker 6: So what's our greatest weapon in the whole entire everything?
- 8:04Speaker 6: It's not the bunker buster. It's not anything else. It's
- 8:06Speaker 6: the U.S. dollar. And that's the next biggest thing I'll
- 8:09Speaker 6: just touch base on real quick. Markup for the Clarity
- 8:12Speaker 6: Act is on Monday. They're hoping to put this through
- 8:15Speaker 6: the Senate and have it on Trump's desk to be
- 8:18Speaker 6: signed on the 4th of July. And I know nobody
- 8:22Speaker 6: knows anything about it. But this is the next greatest
- 8:25Speaker 6: weapon that the United States of America has to push
- 8:28Speaker 6: our dollar even further out into the world. If you
- 8:31Speaker 6: were in Iran right now, and side note, have you
- 8:34Speaker 6: seen any videos from Iran? You know, no Snapchat, no Instagram,
- 8:37Speaker 6: no Facebook, no X. Nobody there can send out any
- 8:40Speaker 6: videos because they don't even have Internet. Their currency is
- 8:42Speaker 6: completely decimated. If those people could get the U.S. dollar
- 8:47Speaker 6: and hold on to it, they would do that in
- 8:50Speaker 6: an absolute heartbeat. So what the Genius Act last year
- 8:54Speaker 6: and the Clarity Act that hopefully will go through on
- 8:56Speaker 6: July 4th is to allow anybody in the entire world
- 9:00Speaker 6: to hold a digital U.S. dollar on their phone. Which,
- 9:03Speaker 6: what does that mean? They're backed by treasuries. What are treasuries?
- 9:07Speaker 6: They're U.S.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Debt.
- 9:08Speaker 6: We talk about the debt all the time. It's $ 40 trillion.
- 9:11Speaker 6: It's going to go to $ 45, $ 50, and keep going
- 9:14Speaker 6: forever because countries don't default on their currency. They print more.
- 9:19Speaker 6: So that's what we're going to do. And we're going
- 9:21Speaker 6: to send our dollars throughout the whole entire world. And
- 9:24Speaker 6: that's the next step. And that's coming, hopefully, July 4th.
- 9:28Speaker 6: It's going to totally change everything. The reason it's not
- 9:30Speaker 6: gone through is because big banks have been fighting it
- 9:33Speaker 6: for the last year. Right now, when you fit your
- 9:36Speaker 6: money in a checking account, you get, what, 0.05% interest
- 9:40Speaker 6: with a stable coin where you can have your dollar
- 9:42Speaker 6: in a digital checking account, basically. That's going to pay 4.5%.
- 9:47Speaker 6: And guess what? Those issuers can then give you 2.5%.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Big banks bought it. The whole reason this hasn't gone
- 9:54Speaker 6: through and we're not able to disperse the dollar more
- 9:56Speaker 6: throughout the whole entire world is because big banks are afraid.
- 10:00Speaker 6: of capital risk so they finally have just given up
- 10:04Speaker 6: there's a whole lot of nuances that i won't go
- 10:06Speaker 6: into but that's the new greatest weapon that the united
- 10:08Speaker 6: states is going to have moving forward now Everybody talks
- 10:11Speaker 6: about the AI stocks and how much they've gone up.
- 10:14Speaker 6: It is absolutely mind-boggling. They go up 15% a day.
- 10:18Speaker 6: I wish I would have bought more. I wish I
- 10:20Speaker 6: would have bought call options on all of them. But
- 10:22Speaker 6: everybody who calls and talks about AI, I wonder how
- 10:26Speaker 6: many people are actually using it and how many people
- 10:29Speaker 6: are using it like Google search. You can write an
- 10:32Speaker 6: email now on your Gmail and hit the little magic
- 10:34Speaker 6: wand and it makes your email look fantastic. I think
- 10:37Speaker 6: it's a horrible thing because now I don't know if
- 10:39Speaker 6: I'm talking to somebody who's educated, somebody who's lazy. You
- 10:42Speaker 6: hit the little magic button and it makes your email
- 10:44Speaker 6: sound fantastic. But I will tell you, most people aren't
- 10:47Speaker 6: using AI in any way, shape, or form to the
- 10:50Speaker 6: capacity which it could.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Be used for.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Everybody's talking about interest rates are too high. I think
- 10:55Speaker 6: Ted's completely wrong. I think interest rates probably need to
- 10:58Speaker 6: go up. The new Fed chairman who's coming in in
- 11:00Speaker 6: a couple weeks, I don't think he's going to lower
- 11:02Speaker 6: interest rates. He's probably not going to do a darn
- 11:04Speaker 6: thing before the midterms because he doesn't want to look political.
- 11:07Speaker 6: But AI is going to do so much for so
- 11:12Speaker 6: many people and at the same time so much to
- 11:15Speaker 6: hurt people. If you're 20 years old in college and
- 11:18Speaker 6: you want to be a lawyer, well, I can go
- 11:21Speaker 6: on AI right now and pretty much write what most
- 11:24Speaker 6: people in a law degree can do. Now, I don't
- 11:26Speaker 6: have 30 years of bench experience. Yeah, if you can
- 11:29Speaker 6: graduate with 30 years of law experience, well, you'll probably
- 11:31Speaker 6: do pretty well. But these law firms, I don't see
- 11:34Speaker 6: them hiring as many people when AI does just as much.
- 11:37Speaker 6: I don't see a lot of these jobs going forward.
- 11:40Speaker 6: I've done things with AI that are just mind-boggling. I
- 11:43Speaker 6: had to sell raffle tickets. I didn't really want to
- 11:45Speaker 6: do it. I went on to AI. It took me
- 11:47Speaker 6: about an hour to actually build it. I made a
- 11:49Speaker 6: website that linked to a PayPal account so I could
- 11:52Speaker 6: just text people the link. They put in how many
- 11:54Speaker 6: tickets they want, and it sends me the money. I
- 11:57Speaker 6: made a bot that will actually go on and trade
- 12:00Speaker 6: stocks for me, and I get an update at the
- 12:02Speaker 6: end of the day what it did. The things that
- 12:04Speaker 6: you can actually do now are just, it blows your mind,
- 12:07Speaker 6: and most people aren't even using it in the right way.
- 12:10Speaker 6: So much is going to change. So much is what's
- 12:12Speaker 6: going on in Iran right now. The amount of AI
- 12:15Speaker 6: we're using there, the amount of information not only to
- 12:18Speaker 6: win the battlefield, but how much we're learning to help
- 12:20Speaker 6: prevent hopefully never having a war with China or anybody else.
- 12:24Speaker 6: But we're going to be light years ahead of everything.
- 12:27Speaker 6: The stock market could go up one day and go
- 12:29Speaker 6: down the next day, but if you look at some
- 12:31Speaker 6: of these companies, they're just going through the roof. A
- 12:35Speaker 6: lot of it makes no sense to me, but I
- 12:37Speaker 6: don't know, are we in just a new technological revolution
- 12:40Speaker 6: that all these companies are eventually going to be worth
- 12:42Speaker 6: $ 10 trillion? I have no clue. Are they going to
- 12:45Speaker 6: be worth $ 20 trillion? If we keep printing more money,
- 12:48Speaker 6: the numbers don't really matter as much anymore because your
- 12:50Speaker 6: dollar's worth less. I have no clue. And now today...
- 12:54Speaker 6: You see the White House release all this UFO information.
- 12:58Speaker 6: I'm looking at some of them like that looks like
- 13:00Speaker 6: a lightning bug going across the top of the ocean.
- 13:02Speaker 6: That's not a UFO to me. And then I look
- 13:04Speaker 6: at some of these other pictures. I'm like, well, what
- 13:06Speaker 6: the heck is that? But now I don't even know
- 13:09Speaker 6: what to necessarily trust because AI is so good. I
- 13:13Speaker 6: don't know if that image is just some generated AI.
- 13:16Speaker 6: And if it's the AI I can use, what the
- 13:18Speaker 6: heck is the AI the government can use? It's hard
- 13:20Speaker 6: to believe anything anymore.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Yeah, AI, I think.
- 13:25Speaker 2: A lot of people use it as far as search
- 13:27Speaker 2: engines go and use AI in that sense. But I
- 13:30Speaker 2: think there's a learning curve, Alec, when it comes to
- 13:33Speaker 2: fully understanding AI and using it as effectively as you
- 13:36Speaker 2: and a lot of people do.
- 13:37Speaker 5: There's a learning curve.
- 13:38Speaker 6: You are absolutely right.
- 13:39Speaker 5: But let me put it this way.
- 13:40Speaker 1: How do you get good at AI?
- 13:42Speaker 6: How do you get good at golf? You keep practicing.
- 13:44Speaker 6: It's the same thing with AI. You've got to keep
- 13:46Speaker 6: using it, and you just keep getting better and better
- 13:48Speaker 6: at it.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Right, but once more and more people do that, I mean,
- 13:52Speaker 2: there's a learning curve. I think it's going to be huge.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I think it's just going to be phenomenal. And what
- 14:00Speaker 2: I'm seeing is, and I say this often, they say
- 14:02Speaker 2: within three years, you could have 50% fewer white-collar jobs
- 14:06Speaker 2: than you have right now in three years or less.
- 14:10Speaker 6: I'll tell you one of the big concerns I had
- 14:12Speaker 6: with AI and actually your show, Ron, because everybody who
- 14:16Speaker 6: typically calls in, if you listen to the first hour,
- 14:18Speaker 6: I mean, those people are on all the time. You
- 14:20Speaker 6: could literally take their voices and make an AI from it,
- 14:25Speaker 6: and I could do whatever I want with it. So
- 14:26Speaker 6: I actually looked into it, and I pretty much made
- 14:29Speaker 6: an audio book. I cloned my voice with AI, and
- 14:33Speaker 6: thank goodness that there are actually some safeguards. I read
- 14:36Speaker 6: for about a half an hour. It recorded my voice,
- 14:39Speaker 6: and I put in a whole text, about 20 minutes
- 14:43Speaker 6: of text. And it read it to me like you
- 14:46Speaker 6: wouldn't know it was me talking or the AI. And
- 14:48Speaker 6: I never said any of these words. But thankfully, after
- 14:51Speaker 6: I did the recording, you got to go through click, click, click.
- 14:54Speaker 6: I'm not going to use this in this way, this way,
- 14:56Speaker 6: that way, which anybody could just say, of course. But
- 14:59Speaker 6: then thankfully, after you put in your voice, they have
- 15:02Speaker 6: you put a readout that you have to read back
- 15:05Speaker 6: to confirm it's your voice. So nobody can record Ted
- 15:09Speaker 6: the Conservative or J.J., and just make their voice cloned.
- 15:13Speaker 1: On your show.
- 15:14Speaker 6: So it's actually a very good safeguard that I was
- 15:16Speaker 6: curious about and always wondered, because eventually, once this keeps
- 15:20Speaker 6: going and people get better at it and understand it,
- 15:23Speaker 6: you're going to get a lot of nefarious people that
- 15:25Speaker 6: could use this in the very wrong way.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Amen to that.
- 15:28Speaker 2: They say that it will get to the point where
- 15:30Speaker 2: you won't believe what you see because you won't know
- 15:31Speaker 2: if it's real or fake.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Thank you, Alec. Appreciate it. Back after this. The 0570 WKVN. Well,
- 15:38Speaker 5: here you go. Let's see.
- 15:39Speaker 2: It says Democrat turnout rebounds in Ohio's 2026 primary election.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Democrat turnout in Ohio's May 5th, 2026 election was higher
- 15:51Speaker 2: than it was in 2018 election. Well, Republican turnout was
- 15:55Speaker 2: slightly lower. This is a sharp reversal from 2022 when
- 15:59Speaker 2: Ohioans requested nearly twice as many Republican ballots as Democrat ones.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Isn't that interesting? So Democrat turnout in Ohio was higher
- 16:12Speaker 2: than in 2018, while Republican turnout was slightly lower. When
- 16:18Speaker 2: Ohioans were accosted nearly twice as many Republican ballots. All right. So, well,
- 16:24Speaker 2: you've got to get Republicans to turn out in the
- 16:27Speaker 2: general election. I mean, Republicans have got to turn out.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Then we say, well, it's hard to get them to
- 16:33Speaker 2: turn out if Trump isn't on the ballot. There's... Trump
- 16:37Speaker 2: doesn't have to be on the ballots. But certainly, where
- 16:41Speaker 2: you go as far as midterms, that is very much
- 16:44Speaker 2: on the ballots. And where the state of Ohio goes,
- 16:46Speaker 2: it's unbelievable to me that Amy Acton, who quit as
- 16:50Speaker 2: the state's doctor, who couldn't take the pressure and couldn't
- 16:54Speaker 2: take the criticism, she quit. And now she says she
- 16:58Speaker 2: wants to be the governor? And I just shake my head.
- 17:02Speaker 2: It's like, really? And... you just sit back and go,
- 17:07Speaker 2: what the hell is going on? So Republicans got to
- 17:10Speaker 2: get out. You got to have a decent turnout.
- 17:12Speaker 5: You're on the air.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Hey, Ron.
- 17:16Speaker 8: You know, interesting point on Amy Acton, that there couldn't
- 17:18Speaker 8: have been an Amy Acton's career if Mike DeWine hadn't
- 17:21Speaker 8: appointed her. And she was known as an Obama campaign organizer.
- 17:27Speaker 8: And that just makes me scratch my head whenever we
- 17:30Speaker 8: are growing and growing future Democrat governors within the Republican Party.
- 17:35Speaker 5: But..
- 17:37Speaker 8: The reason I called is I wanted to share with you,
- 17:39Speaker 8: because you do a great job of interacting with local politicians,
- 17:43Speaker 8: that I found a website called freedomindex.us, and it ranks
- 17:49Speaker 8: state representatives based on conservative votes and how they did.
- 17:54Speaker 8: Very concise, very brief, to the point. And Tex Fisher
- 17:59Speaker 8: got a 78%, which is okay, I guess, on his
- 18:04Speaker 8: conservative vote. But what was concerning is, out of 19 issues,
- 18:10Speaker 8: he was absent. It said no vote cast 47% of
- 18:13Speaker 8: the time. Now, I don't know if those were votes
- 18:17Speaker 8: that went up before he was elected. He's been in
- 18:19Speaker 8: there for a little while. But I find it very odd,
- 18:24Speaker 8: and if he's listening or somebody on his staff, I
- 18:26Speaker 8: would love for him to call in and say, is
- 18:29Speaker 8: that data correct, that you were absent 47% of the
- 18:32Speaker 8: time on some critical votes? And I didn't know if
- 18:36Speaker 8: you had anything to add to that or not or
- 18:37Speaker 8: if that had come up before in other conversations or not.
- 18:41Speaker 2: No, it's news to me. I mean, if any of
- 18:44Speaker 2: it's accurate, I mean, it's news to me. It depends,
- 18:46Speaker 2: like you said, on the time frame. So, no, I
- 18:51Speaker 2: have absolutely no clue.
- 18:54Speaker 8: Yeah, maybe we give them the benefit of the doubt, but.
- 18:56Speaker 7: It's free at index.us.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Stand by. I'll come back to you in a minute.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Let me get my headlines out of the way. You
- 19:03Speaker 2: can finish your thoughts. Call us in line.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Stand by. Ron Furb from the Kingdom of Mahoning. News
- 19:07Speaker 5: Radio 570. WKVN. All right, let me go back and
- 19:12Speaker 5: pick it up with your comments. News Radio 570.
- 19:15Speaker 8: Hello?
- 19:17Speaker 4: Yes, yes.
- 19:18Speaker 8: I was talking about Tex Fisher and some of the
- 19:20Speaker 8: missing votes on this website called... It's called freedomindex.us. And
- 19:27Speaker 8: there were some critical ones here, some missed opportunities, assuming
- 19:31Speaker 8: that he was in office and that he didn't vote 47%
- 19:34Speaker 8: of the time. One of them was holding the EPA's
- 19:37Speaker 8: final rule on carbon emissions. And obviously, conservatives would say, yes,
- 19:43Speaker 8: we want to halt that. Stop the EPA from all
- 19:46Speaker 8: of this carbon emission nonsense that's driving to price of
- 19:50Speaker 8: vehicles through the roof and all the green energy that
- 19:53Speaker 8: came out of Biden and Obama. He didn't show up
- 19:57Speaker 8: for that vote or didn't cast a vote. There was
- 20:00Speaker 8: also a ban on non-citizen campaign contributions, no vote cast.
- 20:05Speaker 8: also a ban on sex mutilation of children that we
- 20:09Speaker 8: needed him there, no vote cast, and.
- 20:13Speaker 6: A few others.
- 20:14Speaker 8: So I won't go through them all, but I think
- 20:17Speaker 8: it's worth asking him the question. And you did a
- 20:20Speaker 8: masterful job whenever he was pushing legislation through about Ohio
- 20:25Speaker 8: State games and the time, and he was running for
- 20:28Speaker 8: class clown of the Ohio representatives, evidently, with the unkept
- 20:33Speaker 8: hair and the clown nose on his face.
- 20:35Speaker 6: And I thought that was the.
- 20:36Speaker 8: Best 15 minutes of radio in your career when you
- 20:38Speaker 8: took him to task for that. So I just wanted
- 20:41Speaker 8: to see if you knew anything about it and maybe
- 20:44Speaker 8: have the listeners do what I did. I called his
- 20:47Speaker 8: office to ask, hey, can you explain this? Maybe there's
- 20:50Speaker 8: an explanation for it, but it would be great if
- 20:53Speaker 8: he were to call into the Ron Verb Show and
- 20:55Speaker 8: give an explanation. Again, it's freedomindex.us. put in text fisher
- 21:00Speaker 8: and it shows his voting record on the key votes
- 21:04Speaker 8: and he was missing for forty seven percent of them
- 21:07Speaker 8: and he even missed even.
- 21:08Speaker 7: Voted in uh..
- 21:09Speaker 8: The opposite way we needed them to vote on some
- 21:11Speaker 8: other votes i mean i guess if i was in
- 21:14Speaker 8: school and brought home a report card and said hey
- 21:16Speaker 8: mom i got a seventy eight percent that she wouldn't
- 21:19Speaker 8: be proud uh... so even when he shows up he's
- 21:22Speaker 8: not doing so good so i think voters in the
- 21:25Speaker 8: valley need to keep an eye on this to uh..
- 21:28Speaker 5: Hold him accountable If it's accurate. All right.
- 21:31Speaker 8: If it's accurate.
- 21:32Speaker 5: There you go. Agreed. Thank you. NewsRadio 570, Dodie Caryon,
- 21:35Speaker 5: you're on the air.
- 21:38Speaker 8: Hey, Ron.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Yeah, listening all week and over the past week and everything.
- 21:47Speaker 4: And then speaking to my phone today, and Harry Truman
- 21:54Speaker 4: was born on this day. And Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
- 21:59Speaker 4: was born on this date. A couple of older guys
- 22:03Speaker 4: who had a lot of distrust for the Islamists and
- 22:10Speaker 4: didn't like the Nazis and didn't like the communists. Now...
- 22:15Speaker 4: Today we have a lot of popular people who kind
- 22:20Speaker 4: of side with the Islamists, side with the Marxists. Even
- 22:26Speaker 4: that show you guys have in the morning, as I
- 22:30Speaker 4: was clicking through, they were talking about the red-green alliance
- 22:34Speaker 4: between the communists and the Islamists from Cuba to all
- 22:40Speaker 4: over the world. We know about... South America and their
- 22:45Speaker 4: ties to the Islamists and their ties with the liberation
- 22:51Speaker 4: theology and the Catholic Church that was down there and
- 22:56Speaker 4: the Marxists. We're all in cahoots together. And now we have... These,
- 23:04Speaker 4: I don't.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Know, podcasters, influencers, Megyn Kelly, who you might remember her, Ron,
- 23:12Speaker 3: from the debate with Donald Trump in 2016, how nice
- 23:18Speaker 3: she was to Donald Trump then, and basically how nice
- 23:22Speaker 3: she is now, because I think she's the same person.
- 23:25Speaker 4: And if anybody took five seconds... to take their phone
- 23:30Speaker 4: out of their pocket, stop gambling on their phone, and
- 23:33Speaker 4: look at Megyn Kelly. They can see all the times
- 23:36Speaker 4: she was on the Tower of Stern and what a
- 23:39Speaker 4: classy lady she really is. She's one. We're worried about
- 23:46Speaker 4: people not voting and everything, and we get all these
- 23:49Speaker 4: messages floating around from I don't know, insane people who
- 23:54Speaker 4: are being scratched and mutilated by demons, like Tucker Katarlson. But,
- 24:01Speaker 4: you know, he's the guy... Wait, he's the guy who
- 24:04Speaker 4: takes money from Islamists? I don't understand, you know, why
- 24:11Speaker 4: this following is happening, but... You know, it's like Marjorie
- 24:16Speaker 4: Taylor Greene. Oh, Marjorie Taylor Greene, you've got to listen
- 24:18Speaker 4: to her. She's traipsing around with this entourage of Epstein victims,
- 24:24Speaker 4: which any person of goodwill feels bad for the Epstein victims,
- 24:31Speaker 4: and they should get their justice. But why doesn't Marjorie
- 24:34Speaker 4: Taylor Greene take these young ladies to the police station?
- 24:38Speaker 4: Why doesn't she take them to a lawyer to get
- 24:40Speaker 4: something done? No, it's just making a show of it,
- 24:44Speaker 4: and I guess she's just getting clickbait like all the
- 24:47Speaker 4: other ones, the ones who don't like the Christian Zionists
- 24:54Speaker 4: more than anyone else. And we wonder why we're not
- 24:59Speaker 4: getting a voter turnout. We're a little bit splintered. We're
- 25:03Speaker 4: a little bit fractured. And if you're listening to these people,
- 25:08Speaker 4: and if you actually pay attention to what they say, oh,
- 25:12Speaker 4: like what the New York Times did? Hey, Tucker Katarlson,
- 25:16Speaker 4: you said this. Those words have never left my lips. Oops,
- 25:20Speaker 4: let's play you saying it. I don't know what we're doing.
- 25:26Speaker 3: I don't know what we're doing here.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Freedom of speech is one thing. Alex Jones, his whole
- 25:32Speaker 4: career was kept in one place. I used to listen
- 25:35Speaker 4: to him for the three-quarters of a mile that you
- 25:39Speaker 4: could get him out of the station in Meadville. And
- 25:42Speaker 4: I listened to it for the entertainment value. Because the
- 25:46Speaker 4: guy's insane. And now he's part of the group, I guess.
- 25:54Speaker 4: And we're supposed to listen to him. And I'm going,
- 25:58Speaker 4: what happened? People who said things like all of these
- 26:01Speaker 4: morons say... were kept in their place. They had free speech,
- 26:06Speaker 4: because Ron always talks about that we have free speech here,
- 26:09Speaker 4: and that's great.
- 26:10Speaker 3: And we should.
- 26:11Speaker 4: We have to. It's part of our Constitution. Except, like
- 26:15Speaker 4: Richard the pharmacist, or Diamond Dave, or the old-timer, or
- 26:19Speaker 4: whoever it is that says, hey, yeah, these people need
- 26:26Speaker 4: to be settled down, because you keep saying these things.
- 26:30Speaker 4: It's like the Democrats..
- 26:32Speaker 5: Well, no, sit tight for a second.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson has got a huge following as far as
- 26:39Speaker 2: his YouTube channel and what he's doing. So does Megyn Kelly.
- 26:44Speaker 2: A lot of the criticism of them is simply because
- 26:47Speaker 2: they have expressed concern over the influence of the Israeli-funded lobbyists,
- 26:53Speaker 2: and their criticism basically is how influential another country is
- 26:58Speaker 2: on our government and how much money they pump into
- 27:01Speaker 2: campaigns to try to destroy people who do not support that,
- 27:04Speaker 2: who do not take those contributions. Marjorie Taylor Greene being
- 27:08Speaker 2: one of them, Massey being another one of them. I mean,
- 27:13Speaker 2: people would probably look at Massey and say they agree
- 27:15Speaker 2: with most of the stuff that he does. Massey's the
- 27:17Speaker 2: only one that I can think of off the top
- 27:19Speaker 2: of my head that is against all foreign aid. We're
- 27:22Speaker 2: a country that's $ 40 trillion in debt, and he's been
- 27:26Speaker 2: against foreign aid, all foreign aid. Why are we giving
- 27:28Speaker 2: billions of dollars to Israel and Egypt and everyone else?
- 27:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:36Speaker 2: I mean, so Massey's targeted in this congressional race, I
- 27:41Speaker 2: think he's in Kentucky, where he's targeted there with huge
- 27:46Speaker 2: millions of dollars pouring in to try to get rid
- 27:49Speaker 2: of him because he doesn't take these contributions from the
- 27:54Speaker 2: Israeli PAC.
- 27:56Speaker 5: But you just said that because..
- 27:59Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 28:00Speaker 7: So..
- 28:02Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson and these people are expressing their opinions. Keep
- 28:05Speaker 2: in mind, Tucker Carlson was on stage endorsing Trump, and
- 28:09Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Greene was one of his earliest supporters. As
- 28:12Speaker 2: you're talking, Trump's got a lot of qualities about him
- 28:15Speaker 2: that are not admirable. I mean, his attacks the other day,
- 28:19Speaker 2: his attack on Bill Maher, some of the stuff that
- 28:22Speaker 2: he was saying about Bill Maher, I just thought was
- 28:25Speaker 2: uncalled for. The stuff that he says about low IQ
- 28:28Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson and Marjorie.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Well, he hung up. I don't know. He hung up.
- 28:33Speaker 2: And Marjorie Taylor Greene, some of this stuff just is
- 28:37Speaker 2: totally uncalled for. So I don't know what the motivation
- 28:41Speaker 2: of Trump is on some of this stuff. You have
- 28:45Speaker 2: a right to question these things and be concerned about
- 28:48Speaker 2: the influence of foreign money and lobbyists on decisions your
- 28:52Speaker 2: country is making. And if you express concern over that,
- 28:55Speaker 2: as Massey does, and Marjorie Taylor Greene did, I mean,
- 29:00Speaker 2: Trump turned on Trump turned on these people because they
- 29:04Speaker 2: they did not agree with him on the Epstein situation.
- 29:08Speaker 2: I mean, when you bring this stuff up, I sit
- 29:10Speaker 2: back and sit back and take a look. Well, Trump
- 29:13Speaker 2: was all about releasing all the Epstein files.
- 29:17Speaker 5: And then.
- 29:19Speaker 2: For some reason, he he did a 180. Are you
- 29:23Speaker 2: still talking about that? That's old news. When he told
- 29:27Speaker 2: that reporter, he did a complete 180. Well, people are saying, well,
- 29:29Speaker 2: wait a minute. We voted for him because there's a
- 29:32Speaker 2: double standard of justice here. These files should be released
- 29:35Speaker 2: and people have a right to know. And some people say, well,
- 29:39Speaker 2: this could hurt somebody.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Of my friends. We don't care.
- 29:44Speaker 2: People are more concerned about the victims and people are
- 29:47Speaker 2: more concerned about the double standard of justice. And they're saying,
- 29:52Speaker 2: why did you change all of a sudden on these
- 29:56Speaker 2: Epstein files? then people are saying, well, what happened here?
- 30:01Speaker 2: You were against regime change and getting bogged down in
- 30:04Speaker 2: these situations in the Middle East, and all of a
- 30:06Speaker 2: sudden you're engaged in this situation with Iran. And how
- 30:14Speaker 2: much of that was influenced by Israel? So they attack
- 30:19Speaker 2: these people because they're asking, These questions, I'm all for
- 30:24Speaker 2: people asking questions. I'm not, I didn't support Joe Biden
- 30:27Speaker 2: attacking people asking questions about COVID or the vaccine or
- 30:32Speaker 2: its origins. I want to go back to those days where, well,
- 30:36Speaker 2: we can't, where they'd go to the social media outlets
- 30:39Speaker 2: and try to ban people from expressing their thoughts and
- 30:41Speaker 2: their opinions because it didn't agree with the administration's thoughts
- 30:46Speaker 2: and opinions. Well, I didn't like it then and I
- 30:48Speaker 2: don't like it anymore if Trump's trying to do it.
- 30:53Speaker 2: And there's many people that are Trump supporters. I mean,
- 30:55Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene being two of them, and
- 30:58Speaker 2: he just attacks them and belittles them like that because
- 31:01Speaker 2: they disagree with him on Epstein and they disagree with
- 31:04Speaker 2: him on this war. Doesn't matter that they agree with
- 31:07Speaker 2: him on 98% of the other stuff he's doing, but
- 31:10Speaker 2: because of those two issues now, they're low IQ and
- 31:12Speaker 2: he insults them like that. Well, I think that turns
- 31:14Speaker 2: a lot of people off. And I think it turns
- 31:17Speaker 2: a lot of his voters off. And you do the
- 31:20Speaker 2: same thing against Massey and Kentucky. to where you're endorsing
- 31:27Speaker 2: the guy running against him. And Massey didn't take any
- 31:31Speaker 2: money from the Israeli lobbyist and has a very conservative
- 31:36Speaker 2: voting record. I mean, it's bizarre when you see him
- 31:42Speaker 2: sometimes turn on some of his best supporters. I mean,
- 31:47Speaker 2: it's hard to justify any of that. So there are
- 31:52Speaker 2: people that ask those questions. Why the 180 on Epstein?
- 31:55Speaker 2: Why the 180 on the Middle East situation? Why the
- 32:02Speaker 2: 180 on Marjorie Tedder Green was there for you from
- 32:04Speaker 2: day one and campaigning for you? Now she's a traitor.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Tucker was there working for you. Now he's low IQ.
- 32:12Speaker 2: And I'm trying to think of the other ones. I mean,
- 32:14Speaker 2: there's nothing about that that I think is admirable. You
- 32:18Speaker 2: have a right to disagree with the guy on these issues.
- 32:22Speaker 2: and still like his presidency overall. I don't think any
- 32:26Speaker 2: one of those people would vote for Kamala Harris or
- 32:28Speaker 2: the Democrat. I think Massey's a pretty impressive figure in Congress.
- 32:35Speaker 2: I hope he wins re-election when you see that much
- 32:39Speaker 2: money pouring into that district to try to defeat a guy.
- 32:44Speaker 2: I wish Marjorie Taylor Greene would not have resigned. I
- 32:46Speaker 2: wish she would have finished out her term, and quite frankly,
- 32:48Speaker 2: I wish she would have run for re-election. I understand
- 32:52Speaker 2: she was concerned for her safety. And so there are
- 32:56Speaker 2: many thoughts that you could have about that situation. And
- 33:03Speaker 2: I don't find anything admirable about Trump doing that kind
- 33:06Speaker 2: of stuff against those people, any of them.
- 33:08Speaker 5: You're on the air.
- 33:11Speaker 7: My psychiatrist said if I ever feel lonely and depressed
- 33:14Speaker 7: to call this number.
- 33:15Speaker 5: Yes, Dr. Verb here. I'm here for you if you're
- 33:18Speaker 5: lonely and depressed. Advice to the lovelorn as well.
- 33:22Speaker 7: Well, he said you'll realize that it could get worse.
- 33:27Speaker 5: Absolutely. When you're done talking to me, you'll realize how
- 33:30Speaker 5: lucky you got it.
- 33:31Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I am.
- 33:33Speaker 7: Hey, was that Jake that was talking?
- 33:36Speaker 4: Yes.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yes.
- 33:38Speaker 7: Yeah, I saw the thing on Tucker where they're interviewing him,
- 33:43Speaker 7: and they showed him a clip of him saying something,
- 33:46Speaker 7: and he just completely lied about it.
- 33:48Speaker 4: I don't remember saying that.
- 33:50Speaker 7: That never came out of my mouth. I think that was,
- 33:54Speaker 7: Tucker went off the rails a little bit somewhere along
- 33:57Speaker 7: the line, I think.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Well, he just disagrees with some of the stuff that
- 34:02Speaker 5: Trump was doing.
- 34:04Speaker 7: I know, but they showed, you know, unless it's AI
- 34:07Speaker 7: video of him saying stuff, they showed like a couple
- 34:10Speaker 7: clips and he denied saying that. So I don't know
- 34:14Speaker 7: if he thinks that, you know, AI is going to
- 34:16Speaker 7: cover for him or what.
- 34:18Speaker 5: No, I don't know.
- 34:18Speaker 2: I must confess I haven't seen it. And I don't
- 34:21Speaker 2: know what's– that's one of the biggest problems with AI.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I would have to see it to see if it's
- 34:27Speaker 2: for real. But they say AI will reach a point
- 34:31Speaker 2: where you won't be able to believe what you see.
- 34:33Speaker 2: And we shall see if that's the case. And things
- 34:36Speaker 2: can be taken out of context. So I don't know.
- 34:39Speaker 2: I haven't seen that particular situation. But I think Tucker
- 34:42Speaker 2: Carlson is a smart person, and I think he has–
- 34:46Speaker 2: a lot of insight into things. And I think Trump
- 34:49Speaker 2: attacking him speaks poorly of Trump or attacking Marjorie Taylor green.
- 34:55Speaker 5: What are you doing?
- 34:55Speaker 2: Attacking your earliest supporters that help you get elected because
- 35:00Speaker 2: they disagree with you on Epstein. Listen, I I'm against
- 35:03Speaker 2: the double standard of justice.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Aren't you?
- 35:05Speaker 2: I think everything with Epstein should be released. And he
- 35:09Speaker 2: reversed himself. I mean, one day in a blink of
- 35:12Speaker 2: an eye, remember is, Oh, that's old news. What are
- 35:14Speaker 2: you talking about that before? I mean, he totally changed
- 35:18Speaker 2: on that, and he totally changed on his situation in
- 35:20Speaker 2: the Middle East. I'm against regime changes and forever wars
- 35:25Speaker 2: in the Middle East and that kind of stuff. And
- 35:27Speaker 2: a lot of people are saying, did he do this,
- 35:29Speaker 2: or was he directed this way as a result of
- 35:32Speaker 2: the influence of Israel?
- 35:33Speaker 5: Well, it's okay to ask those questions. It's not a sin.
- 35:36Speaker 6: Right.
- 35:37Speaker 7: But, I mean, Trump, it goes back to the walking
- 35:40Speaker 7: a mile in his shoes. I mean, he grew up
- 35:43Speaker 7: in a totally different world.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Stand by, stand by. It's the unknown caller. I'll be
- 35:47Speaker 2: back with him in a minute. It's a 452. Ron
- 35:50Speaker 2: Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoney on another overcast day
- 35:53Speaker 2: and 54 degrees.
- 35:55Speaker 5: To listen now, 570 WKBN. All right, back to it.
- 36:00Speaker 5: Go ahead with your comments.
- 36:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I was talking about, you know, walking a mile
- 36:06Speaker 7: in Donald Trump's shoe. I mean, he grew up in
- 36:08Speaker 7: the real estate jungle, so there's probably people coming after
- 36:11Speaker 7: him all the time. So he had to, like, learn
- 36:13Speaker 7: a defensive mechanism, so that's probably what happened to him. But, hey,
- 36:19Speaker 7: John Arnold's show last night was great. I thought I
- 36:23Speaker 7: was very interested in that show.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I think it's a really good, interesting program. He's always
- 36:29Speaker 2: wanted to start his own hedge fund. That's what he's doing,
- 36:33Speaker 2: and it doesn't launch, I think, until May 15th, and
- 36:37Speaker 2: only 100 people will be in it. There's financial criteria
- 36:40Speaker 2: to get in it, so it eliminates..
- 36:43Speaker 7: I heard the criteria. I will not be one of
- 36:45Speaker 7: the 100.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:48Speaker 7: But on the AI subject, though, he was saying that, yeah,
- 36:51Speaker 7: there's not going to be any... No need to go
- 36:54Speaker 7: to college because AI is going to take all the
- 36:56Speaker 7: mental jobs. But a great point he made was the
- 36:59Speaker 7: fact that, you know, all these people going to be
- 37:01Speaker 7: plumbers and welders and stuff, who's going to pay them?
- 37:05Speaker 4: Because nobody's working.
- 37:06Speaker 7: So his bleak observation of the next 10 years where...
- 37:12Speaker 7: you know, the economy is going to go flat, was
- 37:15Speaker 7: kind of terrifying.
- 37:16Speaker 2: No, he said he expressed genuine concern, just as Elon
- 37:20Speaker 2: Musk has, over what AI can do to the..
- 37:27Speaker 5: The economy.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Well, they say within three years, 50% of the white-collar
- 37:31Speaker 2: jobs will go away to AI. You lost 9,000 or
- 37:33Speaker 2: 10,000 the other day with Meta. Facebook wiped out 9,000
- 37:38Speaker 2: or 10,000 jobs replaced by AI. And what they're saying
- 37:42Speaker 2: is in three years, 50% of white-collar jobs will be gone. Okay,
- 37:46Speaker 2: so now the argument is what are all those people
- 37:49Speaker 2: supposed to do? They're pretty decent jobs, probably making a
- 37:52Speaker 2: good buck. How are they going to survive and survive?
- 37:56Speaker 2: John's basically was saying about the trickle-down effect. If that
- 38:00Speaker 2: person doesn't have money, then they're not building a new home.
- 38:03Speaker 2: They're not renovating the bathroom.
- 38:05Speaker 5: And what have you.
- 38:07Speaker 7: Yeah, which I thought was a great point. But AI,
- 38:11Speaker 7: how about Alec? Was that really him that called in
- 38:14Speaker 7: today or no?
- 38:14Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 38:15Speaker 5: I don't know. That's a good question, but..
- 38:19Speaker 2: That's why you said, well, this deal with Tucker, that's
- 38:22Speaker 2: the problem they say with AI. You won't know what
- 38:25Speaker 2: to believe what you see. It will make you question
- 38:28Speaker 2: what you see, whether it's true or false, because AI
- 38:31Speaker 2: will be so good you won't know, did President Trump
- 38:33Speaker 2: actually say that or didn't he say that? That kind
- 38:37Speaker 2: of stuff. And that's what they say will be the
- 38:40Speaker 2: problem with AI. You won't believe it even when you
- 38:43Speaker 2: see it with your eyes.
- 38:45Speaker 7: That's a terrifying world, though, if you think about it.
- 38:49Speaker 7: It's going to be like everybody's in a nursing home
- 38:52Speaker 7: at this point.
- 38:53Speaker 5: Pretty much. I mean, it's troubling what is ahead.
- 38:59Speaker 2: And the stuff I'm reading says it's greatly underestimated, not overestimated,
- 39:05Speaker 2: how good AI is going to be at a lot
- 39:07Speaker 2: of this stuff. I mean, we're sitting here today saying
- 39:10Speaker 2: this is just hard to imagine any of this stuff happening.
- 39:12Speaker 2: But they say it's underestimated and it's going to be,
- 39:15Speaker 2: I mentioned that type of job loss within three years.
- 39:20Speaker 2: So we're not talking 10 years, three years. So it
- 39:23Speaker 2: can be a big problem. There's people that are arguing,
- 39:25Speaker 2: why are we letting anybody into our country, illegal or
- 39:28Speaker 2: legal at this point? when we can see this tsunami
- 39:32Speaker 2: that's coming as far as employment is concerned? We should
- 39:35Speaker 2: probably stop all immigration in the country, legal and illegal,
- 39:40Speaker 2: at this point until we see what's ahead here.
- 39:44Speaker 7: Yeah, well, I heard like, I don't know if it's Google,
- 39:47Speaker 7: I don't want to, you know, step on anybody's toes,
- 39:50Speaker 7: but I heard, like, there was a Google machine that
- 39:53Speaker 7: actually made itself better. They went from, like, you know,
- 39:57Speaker 7: Google 3.
- 39:58Speaker 5: To Google 5.
- 39:59Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah.
- 40:01Speaker 7: Hey, what about the UFO stuff?
- 40:03Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:03Speaker 5: Stand by.
- 40:04Speaker 2: I'll let you finish your thoughts after my break at 5,
- 40:07Speaker 2: and then I'll be right back.
