- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Create Love, Create Freedom Podcast.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: This podcast explores feminine psychology, relationships, and what shifts when you begin living from your own center rather than from expectation or conditioning.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: My name is Alison Fisher, and my work centers on internal authority and relational clarity across the seasons of a woman's life.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: As you listen, there's nothing you need to force.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: We're simply noticing what's already present and allowing things to become clearer over time.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: On today's episode, we are going to be looking at how women move through cycles of sovereignty.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: There are moments in a woman's life when everything seems to reorganize at once.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Work shifts, relationships change, systems that once felt stable begin to feel restrictive, and the life that she has been living no longer quite fits the woman she's becoming.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Our culture tends to interpret these periods as problems to solve or instability to fix.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: But many wisdom traditions understood them differently.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: They saw them as initiation cycles.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: In those traditions, a woman's life was not meant to unfold in a straight line.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: It moved through phases of crosshold threshing, crossing thresholds, transformation and return.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: The bridge, the chamber, the architect, the return, and eventually the queen.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Each phase asks something different of her, sometimes courage, sometimes patience, sometimes rest, and sometimes surrender to a process that is reshaping her identity in ways she cannot yet fully see.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Today's conversation explores these phases and why they matter, not just for personal growth, but for the deeper development of feminine sovereignty.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Because when a woman understands the cycles she is moving through, she stops asking what is wrong with my life and begins asking a far more powerful question.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: What is this season preparing me to become?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: So let's begin.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: One of the areas that I find very interesting is seasonal arcs and the feminine.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: A woman's life is not linear, it is initiatory.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: These different areas that we're going to look at, the bridge, the chamber, and the return, they're not one-time events.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: They are cycles of transformation that keep repeating.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: And this is very interesting because as a woman steps into some of these new spaces, right?
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: This pattern emerges.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: It emerges across mythology, psychology, and spiritual traditions.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: This pattern shows up in Greek mystery schools, Sumerian myths, Christian mysticism, and even modern depth psychology.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: So this pattern is described as the bridge, the chamber, and the return.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: When we look at the bridge, this is the archetypal phase of crossing between worlds.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: The bridge is the moment when a woman realizes that the old structure of life no longer fits, but the new one is not fully formed yet.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: In mythology it appears as Persephone crossing between the worlds of Demeter and Hades, Inana beginning her descent to the underworld, Psyche leaving the mortal world to undergo the trials that Aphrodite gives her, and Magdalene leaving the social structures she once belonged to with Christ.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Psychologically, the bridge phase often includes life misalignments becoming obvious, institutional systems no longer fitting, the pressure to step into your own authority, and a sense of being between identities, even if it's not for a very long time.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: It could be a couple of days or a week or two even.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: There's this there's this change that happens.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: And this sense of being between two identities, I have found is one of the reasons why the bridge phase can often feel unstable and also very exhausting.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: You can have schedule disruptions, work frustrations, and pressure to build your own structure, maybe build your own business.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: These are classic bridge experiences.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Now, the key insight about the bridge phase is it's not meant to feel stable.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: It is meant to move you across, across the bridge.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: You are not stopping in the middle and building a house there.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: You are continuing all the way across.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: So early in a woman's life, these bridge moments can feel very destabilizing, right?
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: To the point where she might say, Nope, no, no, not even gonna try to cross it.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: But as a woman goes through more of these, crosses more of these bridges, does so more frequently, she notices them a little sooner.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: She says, Oh, okay, this is where I'm at again.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Beautiful transformation waits for me down the path on my journey.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: That's not where we're at right now.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: I feel unstable.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: I feel a let me put it this way, I feel a lack of stability in my life.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: I feel exhausted, and there's a reason why.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: So this is that space where she chooses what she is going to do.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: If she does choose to begin that journey across the bridge, she then moves into the chamber phase.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Now, this archetypal phase is initiation and transformation.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: So once a woman crosses the bridge, she can enter what many traditions call this kind of like holding space, hence a chamber, right?
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: There, this is where identity and power are refined.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: In myth, it appears as Inanna stripped of her titles and ornaments at each of the seven gates.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: It represents Isis reassembling Osiris and learning sacred knowledge, psyche completing impossible tasks, and medieval mystics entering what they called the dark night.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: The chamber phase often includes intense personal growth, uncertainty, emotional pressure, financial pressure, relational pressure, and transformation of identity.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Even if it's just a little bit.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Sometimes in the beginning of a woman's life, those transformations can feel huge, but later on, as she matures, they're slight little recalibrations.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Now, something important happens in the chamber.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: A woman begins to discover her internal authority.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Both represent wisdom gained, like this space, it represents wisdom gained through initiation.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: And this space really says you are not lost, you are being refined.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Now, this phase is uncomfortable because the psyche is reorganizing itself around a new level of responsibility and power.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: And I have noticed that doubts can come up at this time as well.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: One of the best things that I have found to do is doing some things that are very grounding, different kinds of practices.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: So if I am exhausted from the bridge phase, exhausted and overworked in the chamber phase, I come to a place where I realize that I need more rest.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: I need to give back to myself.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: I make sure that I get good exercise, that I get time in nature, that I light candles in the evening, that I take a hot bath, that I do a little ritual, that I, you know, maybe pull some oracle cards.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I rest, I rejuvenate, I read, I journal, I drink some tea, and then I put myself to bed early.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: And this can be every night for a couple of weeks, even.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: But doing what is necessary, right?
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: You are stepping into and your psyche is reorganizing around a new level of responsibility and power.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: And it can bring up doubt, but staying steady and staying the course through this period is very helpful.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: Now, the third period or third phase is the return.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: And this archetypal phase shows up as integration and recognition.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: So this is the final stage of feminine initiation, and it's returning to the world with new capacity.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: But the return is not about going back to the old life.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: It's about stepping into a new role, whether it's in the world, in the community, or even just in your personal life.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: In myth, this looks like Persephone becoming queen of the underworld, Isis becoming the great teacher of sacred knowledge, Magdalene becoming a witness and messenger, and Psyche becoming immortal.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: When it is when a woman's internal transformation begins to shape the external world.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: There is expansion and there is influence.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: Now, this pattern matters, right?
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: The bridge, the chamber, the return.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: Most people are taught in our masculine society that growth is linear.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: It is always an upwards trajectory of success.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: But initiation cycles, feminine in the feminine realm, they actually look like what we've been discussing.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: The bridge comes first, leaving the old world.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: The chamber is second, transformation and refinement, and then the return happens later, integration and influence.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: This time can feel very intense, but also deeply purposeful.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: So what's interesting about this initiation pattern is that the chamber phase often coincides with external pressure.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: This is where you're going to feel like things stack up for you.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: This could be schedules breaking, work system misalignment, unexpected obligations appearing.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: And it's not because life is going wrong, but because the psyche is reorganizing around a new level of sovereignty.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: So the next time this shows up for you, it happened to me a few months ago, where certain things in business were getting better, other things were falling apart, I was having issues with colleagues, my schedule was a mess, I was exhausted, and then I got jury duty thrown on top of it.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: And I'm not talking you go in once and then you're dismissed.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: I'm talking they asked me to serve or expected me to serve for an entire month.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: And so this felt like a lot of pressure.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: And we'll get into this a little bit deeper, but there comes a time in a woman's life where she begins to say, I can't control everything.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: I would like to, but I can't.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: So I have to surrender.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: I'm going to tackle one thing at a time.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: And I think that that's really important.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Because again, a woman's life is not linear, it is initiatory.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: So we are going to continue to go through these different initiations, regardless of how old we are.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: But it's there to refine us, it's there to take us into the next phase.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: And as we talked about, the bridge, the chamber, and the return are not one-time events.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: They're cycles of transformation that repeat across a lifetime, each one refining our identity, our power, and our purpose as women.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: So we're also going to talk about the quiet queen phase.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: This is the one that often appears before expansion.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: It's a period when a woman has already crossed several bridges in life and has begun to develop deep inner authority, internal authority.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: But the external world has not fully reorganized around that yet.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: So during this phase, life may feel heavy or demanding.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: Systems she once relied on begin to fall away.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: Her solitude increases.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: She becomes more discerning about where her energy goes, and she builds internal order quietly.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: This phase is partly frustrating because it's not very glamorous, right?
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: There's not a lot of there's not, it's not that there's an absence of beauty or joy, but she has to dig quite a bit deeper to find that.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: To say, hold on, I realize I'm going through some difficult things right now, but I'm going to find the little gems in this pile of rock.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: I'm going to seek those things out.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: So it's not a glamorous phase, but it is an incredibly powerful phase because it is where a woman stops trying to prove herself to the world and begins instead to shape her world from within.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Many women enter this phase in their late thirties and early forties, when identity, work, relationships, and purpose all begin to organize at once.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: It's really a period of deep calibration.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Next, we're going to look at the initiation cycles and how they repeat throughout a woman's life.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: One of the biggest misconceptions about transformation is that it happens once.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: But the cycles repeat again and again.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: A woman might move through bridge chamber return when leaving a career, and then again when starting a business, and then again when ending a relationship, and then again when moving to a new country, or stepping into leadership, or reclaiming her identity.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: Now, each cycle is different, but the pattern is similar.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: And importantly, the goal is not to avoid these cycles.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: The goal is to learn how to move through them consciously.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: So when women learn to recognize these phases, something changes.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: Instead of thinking, everything is falling apart.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: And let's be honest, most of us felt that way, particularly in our teens and our 20s.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: Everything is falling apart.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Everything is attacking me at one time.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: As a woman matures, as she moves into her 30s and her 40s, and certainly her 50s and beyond, she realizes, uh, that's right, it's not falling apart.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: I am crossing another bridge.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Let's look at the importance of the bridge phase.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: The bridge phase is often the most misunderstood.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: Because from the outside, it can look like chaos.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: There are schedule shifts, work systems that are just wobbling, right?
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: They feel very unsteady.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Where your paycheck comes from, how you make your money can feel very unstable during this period.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Also, unexpected obligations appear, and your energy fluctuates.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: But the bridge is actually a neurological and psychological recalibration period.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: The psyche is reorganizing around a new identity.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: And of course, this takes energy, which is why exhaustion during the bridge phase is normal.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: This is why I will often slow down, particularly in the evenings.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: Eating healthy food, taking a hot bath or shower, drinking tea, stretching, doing yoga, sitting in a clean, quiet space, lighting some candles, listening to beautiful music, writing in one's journal, right?
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: And going to bed early.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: These are examples of how women historically supported themselves during these transitions.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: These moments of quiet care are not in.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Indulgence.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: They are stabilizing rituals.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: They allow the nervous system to integrate change.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Without these pauses, transformation becomes much harder.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Now the chamber phase.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: This phase requires surrender.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: I have found that the chamber phase is where many women struggle the most, especially the first couple times they've entered this space.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: Because modern culture teaches us to try to control everything.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: The initiation process doesn't work that way.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: The feminine doesn't work that way.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: So when someone enters the chamber phase, they often try to force outcomes, push harder, try to solve every problem.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: They try to demand clarity immediately.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: But the chamber doesn't respond well to force.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: It responds to participation and surrender, not passive surrender, but a willingness to say I will continue walking forward even if the path is not fully visible yet.
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: This kind of surrender actually helps the transformation move faster and with less suffering.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Fighting the process creates friction.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Working with it creates flow.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Let's look at the feminine skill of moving through initiation.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Historically, feminine wisdom traditions taught women how to navigate these cycles.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: Practices included things like tenting the body with nourishment and rest, creating quiet, beautiful spaces, ritual baths, oils, candles and herbs, reflective writing and prayer, and also time in nature.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: These practices served a purpose beyond comfort.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: They helped women regulate their nervous systems while undergoing identity transformation.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: So in other words, self care during initiation is not escape.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: It is support for the alchemical process.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: Let's look at why surrender strengthens sovereignty.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: It may sound paradoxical, but surrender is often what allows a woman's true authority to emerge, because surrender in this context means releasing unnecessary control, external expectations, and timelines imposed by others.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: When she does this, something interesting happens.
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: Her internal compass becomes clearer.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: She begins to act from alignment rather than pressure.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: And ironically, that alignment tends to produce better results in the external world.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: Now let's look at the return again.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Eventually the cycle completes.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: The woman returns to the world, but she is no longer the same.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: Her identity is more integrated, her discernment is sharper, her boundaries are clearer, her influence often expands.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: The return is what others begin to recognize is, I should say, when others begin to recognize the transformation that happened quietly during the bridge and chamber phases.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: But the real power of the turn return is not recognition, it is self-recognition.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: The moment a woman realizes I trust myself now.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: Let's also move a little bit deeper.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: The return phase is when inner transformation begins to shape the outer world.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: In myth and initiation traditions, the return is the moment when someone comes back from the transformational chamber, carrying something the world can now receive.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: But the key thing about the return is this the woman does not return as the same person who crossed the bridge.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: She returns with new authority, not authority granted by institutions or hierarchy, authority that comes from having passed through transformation consciously.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: This is why the return often brings recognition and leadership opportunities, influence, aligned partnerships, and expanded work.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: But interestingly, the return phase is not loud.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: It tends to be quietly magnificent.
- 27:55SPEAKER_00: People sense the shift in someone who has moved through initiation.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: There is a different level of groundedness, discernment, and clarity.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: In practical life, this can look like the right collaborators start appearing.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: Work that once felt difficult becomes easier to transmit.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Opportunities arise through alignment rather than force, and other people begin to trust this woman's guidance.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: The return is when the inner work begins to produce external impact.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: Let's go a little deeper into the queen phase.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: This is really the embodiment of sovereignty.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: The queen phase is what often emerges after several cycles of branch chamber return.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: Occasionally it can happen after one, but normally it's several cycles.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: It's not about status or dominance.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: It's about stabil a staple internal authority.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: A woman in the queen phase has moved through enough transformations that she no longer tries to control life the way that she wants it.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: She understands cycles, she understands timing, she understands energy.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: And because of this, her leadership becomes calm and strategic rather than reactive.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: Common characteristics of the queen phase include discernment.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: She no longer gives her energy everywhere.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: She chooses carefully, who she collaborates with, what projects she builds, what environments she stays in.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: It also includes energetic economy.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: She understands that attention and energy are finite resources, so she invests them intentionally.
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: Also emotional sovereignty.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: External chaos no longer destabilizes her the way it once might have.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: She can witness systems, relationships, and institutions without losing her center.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: And lastly, magnetic influence.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: So we're going to look at why the queen phase often begins quietly.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Interestingly, many women enter the queen phase during periods that feel like contradiction rather than expansion.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: This is because the queen phase requires something important, the pruning of unnecessary roles and obligations.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Things that once felt normal begin to feel misaligned.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: Work that was once tolerable becomes straining.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: Systems that once felt acceptable begin to feel restrictive.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: This is not regression, it is discernment sharpening.
- 31:42SPEAKER_00: So the Queen does not reject structure.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: What she does do is she begins to build her own structure.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: Now let's look at the queen's relationship to effort.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: One of the most fascinating shifts in the queen phase is how effort changes.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: Earlier in life, many women operate from a place of improving, pushing, and also overworking and trying to secure stability.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: But as sovereignty develops, effort becomes more precise.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: So instead of pushing harder, the queen asks, Where does my presence create the most impact?
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Where is my energy actually valued?
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: Where does alignment exist?
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: This doesn't mean she stops working hard.
- 32:58SPEAKER_00: It means her effort becomes strategic rather than just simply reactive.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: So let's look at the queen and surrender.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: Surrender becomes a defining trait of the queen phase.
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: Not surrender in the sense of giving up, but surrender to cycles larger than her individual control.
- 33:32SPEAKER_00: She understands that life moves through seasons of building, seasons of refinement, seasons of visibility, and seasons of rest.
- 33:46SPEAKER_00: Instead of fighting these cycles, she works with them.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: Ironically, this makes her far more effective than someone constantly forcing outcomes.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: Let's also look at the queen and the return.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: The return phase is often the doorway into the queen phase.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: During the return, a woman begins to realize I no longer need to seek authority from outside of myself.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Once this realization stabilizes, the queen archetype begins to emerge, and something subtle but powerful changes.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: Instead of asking how do I succeed in this system, she begins asking what system do I want to build?
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: When the stress, the exhaustion, the pressure of multiple responsibilities, when it all kind of piles up, a woman often notices she's standing between the chamber and the return of one of these cycles.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: And that bridge chamber return may happen multiple times, as we discussed, before she gets to her queen phase.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: Or the queen even this time around.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: Because I have found that this phase often comes back around kind of again and again.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: The internal world hasn't yet reorganized around her next phase.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: But internally, her orientation is already shifting.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: So she still feels the stress, the exhaustion, you know, work kind of piling up, maybe, uh, the new adventure, the new uh venture, not even just adventure, but venture that she is trying to start or trying to do.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: The way that she's trying to shift her life into something else and something new, um, it hasn't shown up yet on the in the external, right?
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: Her finances may have not stabilized, her relationships may have not stabilized.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: But she begins to change internally.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: She is making shifts, she is taking better care of herself so that she can handle these phases.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: This is often the moment when a woman begins to move from seeker to sovereign.
- 36:49SPEAKER_00: Not because everything is easy, but because she recognizes that she is capable of walking through transformation without abandoning herself.
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: And that realization is one of the true foundations of the queen phase.
- 37:11SPEAKER_00: Now we're going to look at something a little bit deeper.
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: This is a very specific stage that many sovereign women go through right before their work becomes visible in the world.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: And it often appears when someone, uh when a woman is building something independent.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: And this is what I like to call the architect phase.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: It is one of the most interesting, but also least discussed stages in a woman's development, especially for women who eventually step into leadership, authority, entrepreneurship, or intellectual influence.
- 37:55SPEAKER_00: And it often appears between the chamber and the full return.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: It's really the moment when a woman realizes something subtle but profound.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: The structure let me try that again.
- 38:19SPEAKER_00: So she begins to design her own structures, not impulsively and not always visibly at first, quietly, strategically, deliberately.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: The architect phase is when a woman begins designing the world she will live in, the actual one that she wants to live in, not just the one that she dreams about, but the one that she is actively trying to create.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: In earlier phases of life, most women try to fix themselves, uh, excuse me, fit themselves into existing systems.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: That could be careers, institutions, social expectations, and inherited timelines, right?
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: Such as you get married at this time, you have a baby at this time, you retire at this time, you you do things in the predictable inherited way, the way that society says is most acceptable.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: During the architect phase, something shifts.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: A woman begins asking different questions.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: Not where do I fit, but what needs to exist that did not exist yet, or that does not exist yet.
- 39:50SPEAKER_00: This shift is very large for her.
- 39:54SPEAKER_00: It's enormous because it moves her from participant in systems to the designer of systems.
- 40:07SPEAKER_00: Now, the architect phase often feels intense.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: Designing a life structure requires something that many systems discourage, which is internal authority.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: So during the architect phase, a woman often finds herself navigating tension like existing work obligations versus a future direction, institutional rules versus personal values, stability versus freedom, and responsibility versus creativity.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: Externally this can look like a period of pressure or friction, but internally something very powerful is happening.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: The woman is learning to hold complexity without collapsing.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: She is learning to build structures reflect her values, her rhythms, and her intelligence.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: The architect works very quietly in her life.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: One of the interesting things about this phase is that it rare it is rarely dramatic from the outside.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: It looks like refining ideas, building small systems, experimenting with new work structures, developing intellectual frameworks, and deep thinking about the future.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: From the outside it can appear slow, but internally it is strategic construction.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: Many influential women spent and spend years in this phase before their work became widely visible.
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: Because they were not just building projects, they were building architectures with which they could stand on later.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: We're going to look at the architect and sovereignty.
- 42:19SPEAKER_00: The architect phase is deeply connected to sovereignty, because sovereignty requires something most people never fully develop, and that is the ability to organize life from the inside out.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: Instead of reacting to external demands, the architect asks, what structure supports my work best?
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: What rhythm supports my body and mind?
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: What relationships support the life I'm building?
- 42:55SPEAKER_00: What systems must exit for this vision to become real?
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: This is not rebellion, it is design.
- 43:06SPEAKER_00: This phase often appears in a woman's early forties.
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: Many women enter the architect phase after they have accumulated enough life experience to recognize patterns in their lives very clearly.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: They have seen how institutions and governments and societies work.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: They have experienced relationships and leadership dynamics.
- 43:36SPEAKER_00: They have learned their strengths and their limits, and they have developed discernment.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: At this point, continuing to live purely inside inherited structures becomes difficult.
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: The psyche begins asking for self authored architecture.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: Now, when it comes to The architect and the queen.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: The architect phase often precedes the queen phase, because once a woman has designed structures aligned with her values, she can finally step into stable authority within them.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: Think of it like this the architect builds the palace, the queen governs from within it.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: Without the architect phase, the queen is forced to rule inside someone else's structure, which often creates frustration as well as limitation.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: Now there's also a paradox of the architect phase.
- 44:47SPEAKER_00: This phase often requires both intensity and gentleness.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: Intensity because building new structures requires effort.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: Gentleness because the nervous system needs restoration to sustain that effort.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: Which brings us back to you have to allow the architect to rest.
- 45:16SPEAKER_00: As we discussed, candles, tea, stretching, yoga, nourishing foods, quiet reflection, long walks in nature, hot baths, little rituals that you do.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: All of these moments are not interruptions to the work, to the thing that you are building.
- 45:42SPEAKER_00: They are part of the architecture.
- 45:45SPEAKER_00: They give it its beauty, they allow it to sit for a little bit, and they also ensure that the woman designing the structure remains well enough to inhabit it.
- 46:02SPEAKER_00: So to conclude today's episode, one of the most important realizations a woman can have is that these cycles are not mistakes or detours.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: They are the way sovereignty develops.
- 46:20SPEAKER_00: The bridge will return at different moments in life.
- 46:24SPEAKER_00: The chamber will appear again when transformation is required.
- 46:30SPEAKER_00: The architect will emerge whenever a new structure is needed, and eventually, through enough cycles of learning and integration, the queen begins to stabilize within her.
- 46:45SPEAKER_00: None of these phases require perfection.
- 46:49SPEAKER_00: They simply require presence.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: They require the willingness to slow down when the body asks for rest, to care for oneself in the midst of pressure, and to trust that transformation is often unfolds quietly beneath the surface before it becomes visible in the world.
- 47:15SPEAKER_00: When a woman stops fighting these cycles and begins to move within them and with them, something profound happens.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: She no longer measures her life by external timelines or expectations.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: She begins to live from her own center.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: And from that place, the structures she builds, her work, her relationships, her leadership begin to carry a different quality altogether.
- 47:51SPEAKER_00: Not urgency, not performance, but something much steadier.
- 47:58SPEAKER_00: And that is sovereignty.
- 48:03SPEAKER_00: So this is what I have for you today.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for being here.
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: Let whatever was useful settle in its own time.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: Clarity, I have found, tends to unfold naturally when we give it space.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: If you find yourself wanting deeper support in your personal work, I've created two spaces inside Create Love Freedom.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: One is called the School of Self-Transformation, and the other is a feminine reclaiming course.
- 48:36SPEAKER_00: They are designed for women who are already self-aware and ready to live with more coherence, stability, and self-trust.
- 48:46SPEAKER_00: You can explore both of these in the show notes, or you can also go to createlovefreedom.com.
- 48:55SPEAKER_00: And for women who are also thinking about leadership work or financial direction, I share a different layer of this work here through a podcast called The Feminine Ledger, as well as my advisory practice at the Sovereign Ledger, where I work with women founders who want cleaner financial structure and decision making inside their businesses, along with long-term financial stability.
- 49:29SPEAKER_00: If that is of interest to you, you can go to the Feminine Ledger podcast and listen there.
- 49:36SPEAKER_00: Or if you are a female founder and you would like some clarity in your business, I work with women from the$300,000 to about$5 million mark.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: You can go to thesovereignledger.co.
- 49:58SPEAKER_00: Until next time, stay rooted, stay sovereign, and stay true to your feminine path.
