- 0:03We're setting new records in the gold sector.
- 0:06Silver won't be far behind. You'll be shocked at what you
- 0:10learned today, what's going on in the world because a lot is
- 0:14changing that silver and gold investors need to be on top of.
- 0:20Today we're joined by our special guest, a fan favorite,
- 0:24Mr., Pat Holland from the Missouri Freedom Initiative.
- 0:28We're going to talk about gold. We're going to talk about
- 0:30silver. We're going to talk about
- 0:31fascinating things going on in that area, especially in China.
- 0:36But then we're going to bring it all back home and talk about
- 0:40what's going on for you in the United States, legal tender
- 0:45legislation and a call to action.
- 0:48Pat Holland, welcome back to Ron's basement.
- 0:51Hey, thank you, Ron. It's great to be here.
- 0:53Hey, we're live for the first time.
- 0:54This is awesome. Yeah, we're on a live.
- 0:57Go ahead. We're on a live stream and we're
- 1:00we're working our way through this together.
- 1:02So thank you to you for being here and our viewers.
- 1:06Yeah, and and this is the perfect opportunity for them to
- 1:08ask questions in real time and all that fun stuff.
- 1:10But I noticed you got Smitty front and center there.
- 1:13You know, Smitty had a Chinese name.
- 1:16It would be I Bring Doe. Well, we're going to, we're
- 1:22going to talk about what's going on in China because it's
- 1:25fascinating and and like I said then we're going to, we're going
- 1:28to hone in on what our viewers are really concerned about and
- 1:31that is the United States gold and silver legal tender
- 1:35legislation. But gold is bumping up against
- 1:38all time highs. It's really crazy what's going
- 1:42on out there. Do you do you feel like we've
- 1:44turned the corner with gold? And any thoughts on what that
- 1:47might mean for silver? I don't know yet.
- 1:51You know there's a cup and handle for silver.
- 1:53You've talked about it before and this has been well known for
- 1:56quite some time and silver is kind of a there's a a cup and
- 2:00handle I think for gold as well. But at the same time, I have not
- 2:05kept track of those charts recently.
- 2:08As you know my interest in gold and silver is on the on the
- 2:11legal tender side. Of course if it goes up in
- 2:13value, I wouldn't mind but that that's not the thrust of what we
- 2:17do with the silver and gold legislation for instance in
- 2:20Missouri. But I want to remind you of
- 2:22something before we start talking about China, cause
- 2:24China's a big player in this, you know, once again we've
- 2:27talked about the bricks possibly ad nauseam.
- 2:29We might be boring people and if we are then I apologize.
- 2:33But I do want to let folks know that there is an ancient Chinese
- 2:38curse and it goes like this. May you live in interesting
- 2:42times and we are definitely living in interesting times.
- 2:48We we sure are. I'm going to pull up a picture,
- 2:50Pat. Recently there were Chinese
- 2:54reports that over 800,000 Chinese people showed up at a
- 3:00shopping mall. That's a picture on a on the day
- 3:04after the lunar holiday at a shopping mall, 800,000 people at
- 3:08one mall to buy gold. I mean they the Chinese appear
- 3:12to be going absolutely crazy over gold.
- 3:17And it's it's really interesting when you when you when you think
- 3:20about what we're doing here in the United States and the
- 3:24reasons why not just the Chinese government, not just the Chinese
- 3:28central bank, but the Chinese people are going crazy over
- 3:30gold. When you listen, they're saying
- 3:32the Chinese people are afraid to put their money in the stock
- 3:34market, they're afraid to put their money in the real estate
- 3:39market, they're afraid to put their money in the bank.
- 3:42So what are they doing? They're running to gold and
- 3:44silver, which when I when I hear those reasons, that list of
- 3:48reasons, I'm like, you know, that doesn't seem too far
- 3:51fetched in in terms of what we could experience here in the
- 3:55United States. I think you're right.
- 3:59I think people will be running to gold and silver, and this is
- 4:02historic fact, by the way, what you brought up.
- 4:05It's not about bonds anymore, gang.
- 4:07You know, basically bonds are losing to inflation, silver and
- 4:11gold or not. So it's actually pretty easy
- 4:14math. I talked about this recently
- 4:16with someone up in Jefferson City that the bonds that they
- 4:20have in Jefferson City, or more specifically in Missouri and the
- 4:23Treasury are paying 2.4%. Everyone knows inflation is well
- 4:28beyond that. I don't care what Biden says
- 4:30about inflation, Amanda, I I just don't care.
- 4:33The fact is you can actually go to John Williams shadowstats.com
- 4:38and actually get the inflation statistics based on the 1980 or
- 4:421990 standards. The difference today is they've
- 4:45removed a lot of stuff from the actual CPI adjusted numbers.
- 4:50For instance, gasoline is not in it, food is not in it, but
- 4:54you'll find it in the 1980 version.
- 4:57So the what they do to manipulate inflation numbers and
- 5:01we'll get back to gold and silver in a second here, but
- 5:03this is relevant is they just extract huge parts of industry
- 5:09over that. I mean just huge aspects of
- 5:11industry. So one thing that they they put
- 5:15in is electronics because electronics made in China, you
- 5:19know basically haven't inflated as fast as anything that's
- 5:21produced in the United States or in the Western world.
- 5:24So this is a a game of trickery gang.
- 5:28When it comes to CPI, the government lies by a factor of
- 5:32five, at least. In some cases it's as low as 3
- 5:35that they lie by a factor of 3, but usually it's around 5:00.
- 5:39So we had, you know, in the truth, money and freedom.
- 5:41We had a saying the government lies by a factor of five.
- 5:44It was a rhyme that we told and that was based on everything
- 5:47from, you know, CPI adjusted numbers to unemployment.
- 5:52They lie about that as well. I meant that's a huge lie.
- 5:55Everyone, I think, knows that. But at any rate, I digress.
- 5:59The Chinese know what's going on.
- 6:02They are not stupid. They're going for gold.
- 6:05So I'm gonna, I wanna ask you a question, Pat, and I'm sure our
- 6:09viewers are wondering this as well.
- 6:11If we work off this premise that inflation is like a hidden tax,
- 6:16our government, our United States government, our our, our
- 6:19trusted leaders in Washington, they have this habit of spending
- 6:24more money every year than they bring in.
- 6:27So at that point, they're faced with a challenge.
- 6:30They could either spend less money and actually balance the
- 6:33budget. They could raise taxes.
- 6:37You know, on the wealthy, we know that's not going to happen.
- 6:40Or they could borrow and borrow with printed money, essentially,
- 6:45which leads to dilution of the currency, which leads to
- 6:50inflation. And when you have inflation in
- 6:54areas like the stock market, they call it a bull market.
- 6:58It's great for the wealthy, right?
- 6:59We've had that over the last number of years.
- 7:01When you have inflation in real estate and you're a wealthy guy
- 7:06who owns a an apartment complex with 1000 units, well that's OK,
- 7:10That's a bull market in real estate.
- 7:12But when you have inflation for everyday average Americans, it's
- 7:16called pain, right? It's called not being able to go
- 7:21on a vacation or it's or not being able in some cases to put
- 7:25food on your table or provide some basic necessities that you
- 7:28need for a family. Is that is that kind of the
- 7:31predicament that we find ourselves in now here in the.
- 7:34United States, I think so. It's stagflation is what the
- 7:38British called it for years and years when they were going
- 7:40through it. Some people are calling that
- 7:42here in the United States. I think it's more of just a
- 7:46standard high inflation now a groceries continue to go up.
- 7:51That is a huge problem in America, but I think in the West
- 7:54in general. But at the same time, I don't
- 7:57want to, I don't want to bring up conspiracy theories or
- 7:59anything, but gosh darn it, with all those food facilities that
- 8:04have been blowing up and burning down around the world, how in
- 8:07Europe they're trying, they've actually raised the diesel tax
- 8:10to the point where farmers really can't make a profit
- 8:13anymore, you know, growing food because they're regulated by the
- 8:16EU. So they can, you know, the the
- 8:19prices are regulated there. So what the government did is
- 8:22just raise the prices of diesel fuel on farmers.
- 8:25And the protests are incredible out in Europe right now.
- 8:29You won't see it in the mainstream media here, but if
- 8:31you go to any alternative media site, you can see these huge
- 8:34farming protests that are massive, that are widespread
- 8:38across Europe. It's not just in one country,
- 8:42it's in multiple countries. And this is a serious problem
- 8:47for the food supply that we are looking.
- 8:49Unfortunately, we're looking at a very, very grotesque situation
- 8:54where there just isn't going to be enough food.
- 8:56That's what we call artificial inflation.
- 8:59They actually reduce the supply of food and then the prices go
- 9:04higher. But remember, now we're supposed
- 9:06to own nothing and be happy. Right, right.
- 9:08Well, Pat, I need to interject something because we are seeing
- 9:11here in the United States the beginning of major, major
- 9:16protest against what's going on. I want to share something with
- 9:19you here. Bear with me one second, and
- 9:25this was sent to us from our good friend Coin Shop.
- 9:28Chris, it's gotten so bad in the United States.
- 9:32Who's that guy, Huh? Yeah, that's, gosh, the Cookie
- 9:36Monster. That's who it is.
- 9:38Cookie Monster and From CBS News, the Cookie Monster decries
- 9:43shrink flation in the White House response, so you know, the
- 9:46farmers can take to the streets. But here in the United States,
- 9:50we have Cookie Monster who's apparently fighting for us.
- 9:54Let me read just a couple lines of this real quick.
- 9:57The nation's snack producers aren't getting anything past the
- 10:00Cookie Monster. The insatiable Muppet and
- 10:02beloved resident of Sesame Street is getting a high level
- 10:05response. After he took the social media
- 10:08to complain that his favorite treat is shrinking, he went on X
- 10:13and said me hate shrink flation. Me cookies are getting smaller,
- 10:18the googly eyed, furry blue Muppet declared on X Monday,
- 10:22tapping into an economic trend of the day.
- 10:25And then he said, I guess me going to have to eat double the
- 10:28cookies and we got a response, we think from Joe Biden in the
- 10:33White House. He said, quote C is for
- 10:38consumers getting ripped off. President Biden is calling on
- 10:41companies to stop shrink flation.
- 10:46OK, well, I'm at. First of all, you know, you
- 10:50gotta be happy that the cookie monster's on our side.
- 10:52In the steel, you gotta be happy.
- 10:55So I meant, could we even fight this battle without, you know,
- 10:58the Cookie Monster chiming in? The fact of the matter is, the
- 11:02Cookie Monster is absolutely right now, like I said, in
- 11:05Britain, it's commonly referred to as shrink flation.
- 11:09Here we just call it inflation. The guys shrink flation was
- 11:13brought up. That was coined because in
- 11:16Europe, I think it was during World War 2 in Britain, they
- 11:21were reducing the size of food packaging, but, you know,
- 11:24charging the same amount of money.
- 11:26So I think that's where the term shrinkflation actually came
- 11:29from. And of course, you know, they
- 11:31were having monetary problems out in England and in Europe
- 11:34during World War 2. But the fact of the matter is
- 11:37this is absolutely true. Biden literally is blaming
- 11:41corporations. He is not blaming the extra $7
- 11:45trillion that was thrown into the monetary supply here in the
- 11:49last four years. Apparently that's totally off of
- 11:51Bidens radar. But at the same time, I
- 11:53seriously doubt Bidens releasing anything.
- 11:57I don't know that Biden even knows what's really going on in
- 11:59the country right now. He's just being told what to do.
- 12:02And he's, you know, signing papers.
- 12:04But it's his advisors, the unelected bureaucrats that are
- 12:08actually making policy in DC And that policy extends, you know,
- 12:12further than the monetary policy that goes into foreign policy,
- 12:17that goes into energy policy. And so we we are in trouble.
- 12:22But at the same time, can they continue to keep gold and silver
- 12:26down during a shrink flation period in the United States?
- 12:30And if you're looking at the charts recently, the answer is
- 12:32apparently not. Now silver will always be
- 12:36manipulated more than gold gang every single time.
- 12:40How do we know this? Because of the Comex, the
- 12:42commodity index of the, the leveraging on on paper futures
- 12:47contracts versus the physical holdings of the Comex is
- 12:51something that is literally 5 to 10 times worse than we saw with
- 12:55the housing market in 2008 with derivative contracts based on
- 12:59mortgage-backed securities, the original product.
- 13:03So the silver futures contract is nothing more than a
- 13:05derivative. That's it.
- 13:07I mean, there's just nothing behind it.
- 13:09And so, but that's how they tamp down silver and that's how they
- 13:13tamp down gold. And they're very, very good at
- 13:15doing this, very, very good. They're very practiced.
- 13:18But gold, they tend not to tamp down anywhere near as hard as
- 13:22silver. And I think the reason being is
- 13:24because there's a lot of wealthy folks that hold gold and those
- 13:28wealthy folks are donors to, you know, politicians and campaigns.
- 13:33Yeah. And and you know what we're
- 13:34really talking about my, my friend Ted likes to talk about
- 13:38this. Ted from Ted speaks is a battle
- 13:40between Keynesian economics, right, debt based money
- 13:45printing, synthetic economics and Austrian economics, real
- 13:50money, right, based on silver and gold.
- 13:52And when we and then and then what we're really talking about
- 13:55also I think is that we're talking about real money gold
- 13:59and silver versus you know what you can get with that paper
- 14:04money. And whether the the price
- 14:06measured in Fiat paper money goes up or the amount that you
- 14:12get goes down via shrink inflation.
- 14:14What we're seeing is, is that is an erosion in the value of the
- 14:19paper money because it's been diluted.
- 14:21Like you said, it's been printed and there doesn't seem to be any
- 14:27end insight, right. We can look at the US debt clock
- 14:30and see, you know, all of us have done that and watch the 34
- 14:33trillion turn into 35 trillion. We we can, we can everywhere we
- 14:39look, we can go to the grocery store and realize, right, hey,
- 14:42not only did the price of Chips Ahoy cookies go up in paper, you
- 14:48know, used to be $2.00 for a for a container at Chips Ahoy.
- 14:51Now it's $4 and I'm only getting like they're they're only
- 14:55getting half as much. Everybody's getting hit on both
- 14:58sides of the equation. Yeah.
- 15:01And you know what, let's talk about that for a second because
- 15:03this, this may lead to a very interesting situation called
- 15:08deflation. We may have a deflationary
- 15:11period here in the United States of America.
- 15:13And if we have one, trust me, it won't last long.
- 15:16And I'll tell you why. Banks and governments don't do
- 15:19well in deflationary times. They don't do well.
- 15:23They the Federal Reserve will turn on the printing presses if
- 15:26it happens, guaranteed, because deflation will actually reduce
- 15:30the amount of taxation, you know, collection of taxes.
- 15:35It will reduce bank fees. So they're not going to get left
- 15:40out in the cold. They are so much more important
- 15:44than the whole of the American citizenry apparently because if
- 15:49we go into deflation and they are really going to hurt us with
- 15:53printing of of currency and and that's another thing too, right
- 15:57now it'd be it, We'll get back to gold and silver in a second
- 16:00here. We're going to talk a little bit
- 16:01about interest rates. The interest rates right now
- 16:05technically should be going down and I'll tell you why.
- 16:09This is a very interesting catch 22 situation. the United States
- 16:12government or more specifically the treasury is in right now.
- 16:16They their bonds roll about every every two to four years.
- 16:20We have a giant amount of debt that has to be literally re
- 16:24rolled and it looks like if they're not lowering interest
- 16:28rates in 2024, you're gonna see the debt clock go freaking crazy
- 16:34because they are paying higher interest rates on rolling over
- 16:37debt but they're afraid of inflation if they bring down the
- 16:41interest rates. So at any rate that that's the
- 16:45catch 22 right now. If you remember about two months
- 16:49ago they said they were going to and maybe it was a little more
- 16:52than two months ago they were going to reduce interest rates
- 16:56in 2024. Now they're saying they're not
- 16:58going to. I don't know if you guys caught
- 17:00on to this and we're talking about Federal Reserve stuff
- 17:03here. So the the problem is right now
- 17:07the US government is going to have to borrow money to pay
- 17:10interest on its debt. And so and we, the taxpayers of
- 17:14course will be the ones that pay the penalty for that.
- 17:16We'll have to pay for it. The government doesn't produce,
- 17:19we have to give it money. So I, I I don't have a very good
- 17:25feeling about the future here. If they don't lower interest
- 17:28rates, that debt clock is probably going to go up
- 17:31something really crazy this year, like probably something
- 17:35like $3 trillion of debt, maybe four in 2024.
- 17:40Literally, guys that is above and beyond what they take in on
- 17:44that debt clock. So keep in mind when you're
- 17:45watching that number, this isn't the whole of what the United
- 17:48States government takes in. This is what they're spending
- 17:51above what they're taking in on that debt clock.
- 17:54And it's, it's getting pretty interesting.
- 17:56And by the way, if I were a foreign country, I'd be dumping
- 17:59American bonds well. That's what I let me That's why
- 18:02I want to interject. When you were talking about
- 18:03interest rates, think about if you're China, Russia, any
- 18:07foreign country, right? The the they're gonna have a
- 18:11hard time lowering rates cause nobody's gonna wanna buy the
- 18:14bonds unless the rate of they're not gonna take the risk unless
- 18:18the rate is higher. I mean they really are in a
- 18:20catch 22, so then they have to keep the rates high and then
- 18:25that creates even more of a deficit which adds even more to
- 18:29the debt pile which means the rates are gonna have to be
- 18:32higher. I don't wanna be doom and gloom
- 18:34here, Pat, but it's not looking real optimistic.
- 18:38It is not. And from a guy who's looked at
- 18:40and studied bonds for a decade, more than a decade actually I I
- 18:46I think we might be hitting some some rough patches here in 2024
- 18:50because this debt is rolling over whether the interest rates
- 18:53are the are high or low and they right now are saying they're not
- 18:57going to lower them because inflation is pretty bad right
- 19:00now. It truly is.
- 19:02And they of course, they lie about it.
- 19:04Of course, you guys, one more thing here.
- 19:06I mean, I'd like to point out when the government lies, I I
- 19:09really do like to point that out.
- 19:11They're saying inflation is so low right now, it's back down to
- 19:13normal. So whether they're saying it's
- 19:14like 2.8% I believe is the last time they decried a percentage,
- 19:19you know, of what inflation is, guys, it's actually much, much,
- 19:24much closer to 10% right now. Remember I said the government
- 19:27lies by a factor of 5. So if you go to the grocery
- 19:31store or if you buy any goods or services, if you're looking for
- 19:34a home, if you're buying a car, everybody knows the government
- 19:37lies by a factor of five and they're going to have to roll
- 19:42that debt over this year. I don't have dates, but I
- 19:45suspect it's end of quarter kind of stuff when they have to roll
- 19:49this debt. Yeah, I've heard.
- 19:51I believe the the most recent statistic I read is that it's
- 19:55gonna be like 8.9 trillion in debt that needs to be rolled
- 20:00over this year plus another like 1.61 point 4 trillion that of
- 20:07new debt because of the current deficit that we have.
- 20:09That's gonna be 10-10 trillion dollars.
- 20:11And what's interesting is. We've got this reverse repo
- 20:16program that the Fed put together after the C19 crisis, a
- 20:21place for the banks to park. And at one point it was almost
- 20:25$3 trillion. That's been drained, right?
- 20:28All that cash has been slowly fed.
- 20:31It's almost it's it really is like stealth QE has been fed
- 20:34back in and a lot of that money was used to buy bonds and it's
- 20:37almost gone. I think I read it's below 500
- 20:40billion at this point. So everybody's like, well, who's
- 20:43going to buy the bonds and if, oh, they're going to lower rates
- 20:46on the bonds? No, nobody's going to.
- 20:48I mean I I'll tell you who's going to wind up buying the
- 20:50bonds is our old friend Jerome Powell with the Federal Reserve,
- 20:55which will just perpetuate the dilution of the currency, the
- 20:59dollar. I mean, you know, and I think
- 21:01gold and silver are sniffing that out right now, right.
- 21:04They're the oldest, smartest, wisest markets in the world, and
- 21:09I think they're sniffing it out right now.
- 21:11So this whole idea that, oh, interest rates have to go down
- 21:15for gold and silver to do, well, yeah, absolutely.
- 21:18If they cut rates, but you know it.
- 21:19But in the long run, what's really going to help?
- 21:22Silver and gold are the basic laws of mathematics.
- 21:26That's correct. Supply and demand.
- 21:28And when you're talking about China, you know, basically
- 21:31hungrily, you know, devouring as much gold as the citizenry can
- 21:35get their hands on, that affects supply.
- 21:38Now it's it's, you know, it's not like the, the Shanghai Gold
- 21:41exchange is is sharing gold, you know, with the world.
- 21:44They're not. They do with their partners
- 21:46only. And you know, actually there's a
- 21:49trade program with Russia for gold and oil.
- 21:53So that's something I think that a lot of people should
- 21:55understand that is a big deal. And also I've heard Saudi Arabia
- 22:01has actually taken gold also from, well, it was from China,
- 22:06but it was actually from Russia. And so you guys think about this
- 22:12for a second. Remember now our deal with Saudi
- 22:14Arabia and and we're going back to the 1970s here, Henry
- 22:18Kissinger set this up. It's called OPEC, right?
- 22:22And yes, the United States set up OPEC.
- 22:24That is a fact. There's no getting around that.
- 22:26We set it up, but we set it up for them to trade oil on the
- 22:29dollar only. And since Saudi Arabia had the
- 22:32most oil at the time, I do believe they still have a lot of
- 22:35oil. They were allowed to lead OPEC
- 22:38because they had the most oil resources out of any country
- 22:42that was applying to be an OPEC. The deal with Saudi Arabia was
- 22:46you have to trade oil on the dollar, only the US dollar, and
- 22:51in return we will actually provide defense for your nation.
- 22:55We will actually use our military to defend you if anyone
- 22:58attacks you or if you're being threatened.
- 23:01And that was the deal. But guess what?
- 23:03Saudi Arabia reneged on this. This is a this is over.
- 23:07The dollar being used by OPEC is over.
- 23:10Most OPEC nations have joined the BRICS, by the way.
- 23:14And the sole purpose of the BRIC nations is to get off the
- 23:17dollar, the weaponized dollar. And and that's exactly what
- 23:22they're doing right now. And China is a very big player
- 23:26in BRICS and they want off the dollar.
- 23:30And look at what their citizens are doing now.
- 23:32They're Are they going out to hoard dollars?
- 23:36Nope. We have an all time high in gold
- 23:40right now, gang. And one thing, we ought to be
- 23:43looking at it from a different perspective.
- 23:45Actually, an all time high in U.S. dollars means an all time
- 23:48low of the US dollar against gold.
- 23:52That's what that actually means. Go ahead.
- 23:54I want to, I want to add a a little visual to your to your
- 23:57statement you just made. OK guys, those 800,000 see Pat
- 24:02and I over to the left we're in that crowd, right.
- 24:06Those are our Chinese friends, 800,000 of them at one mall to
- 24:10buy gold. Those 800,000 people were not in
- 24:14line at an ATM to get paper U.S. dollars.
- 24:18They were in line to get gold. Holy mackerel, I think I see
- 24:23Smitty in there. What is Smitty doing Buying gold
- 24:25in China? Yeah, Smitty, Smitty, the Silver
- 24:28Berry's cheating on the silver community.
- 24:32The other thing I want to add to what you said, Pat, about this
- 24:35shift away from the dollar, Mike Mahari and I had a great
- 24:39conversation thanks to you yesterday.
- 24:41Mike Mahari is with the 10th Amendment Center, a great guy,
- 24:44super smart guy. I've got an interview with him
- 24:47coming out in a few days, but we were talking about the same
- 24:49thing that you were just mentioning.
- 24:50The world is moving D dollarization.
- 24:53And think about this we we we hear, Oh yeah, de dollarization
- 24:57is going on, but it's going on at the exact same time, at the
- 25:03exact same time that the US needs people to buy their
- 25:09treasuries with U.S. dollars. It's like a AA double whammy.
- 25:12Does that make sense? Like like the US is like we we
- 25:15we have more debt than ever. We need to borrow more than ever
- 25:19and the world is basically saying and we are less
- 25:23interested than ever in buying U.S. dollars.
- 25:26I mean, it's happening slowly, but it's actually, you know,
- 25:28it's happening in both directions, which I think is is
- 25:32is a is an interesting scenario. Historically, Ron, when a
- 25:36country loses world reserve currency, it takes years, many
- 25:39years, in some cases decades for the world reserve currency to
- 25:44shift from 1 country to another, from 1:00 government to another,
- 25:49whatever what have you. And in fact, we have apparently
- 25:53outstayed our welcome with the dollar for two reasons.
- 25:56We're printing too many of them and other nations around the
- 26:00world are sick and tired of America and it's weaponized
- 26:03dollar and the way we go around and force our will on other
- 26:06nations. And this isn't meant to be a
- 26:08political statement. I'm telling you, this is exactly
- 26:11what the bricks are saying. That's exactly what they say.
- 26:14They are tired of it. And you know what really spurred
- 26:17the BRIC nations? It's all the sanctions against
- 26:20Russia. And I saw a news story literally
- 26:23just two days ago that no nations, no nations are no
- 26:27longer or I'm sorry, no nations are participating in sanctions
- 26:32against Russia anymore. This is serious, gang.
- 26:36This is, you know, you want to talk about a nail in the coffin
- 26:39of the dollar. If our military in our country
- 26:43is not even feared by the rest of the world anymore and Russian
- 26:46sanctions are no longer working, then it's something I think we
- 26:50all have to pay attention to for, you know, basically the,
- 26:54let's just say the effectiveness of the dollar in the world right
- 26:58now, it's going downhill very rapidly.
- 27:01Yeah, Because what wouldn't you say, Pat, that the two big tools
- 27:06we've used over the last 50 years to become the world's
- 27:10superpower that I guess we can say we still are our our money
- 27:15and our military and and and look, hey, you and I are
- 27:19patriotic Americans. We love our country, right?
- 27:22We were both born right around the same time.
- 27:24I remember the bicentennial. I love this country.
- 27:27But I can see why what's going on over the last 50 years, why
- 27:33some people in the world may not, may be a little tired of
- 27:36the financial games and and maybe some of the actions that
- 27:42we've taken throughout the world as well.
- 27:46You know, it's somewhat understandable that that now we
- 27:50have this bricks and bricks plus right we have 5 new countries
- 27:53that join this year in 30 more countries that are that are
- 27:57begging to join as well. Yeah, and it's going to
- 28:01continue. It's going to continue.
- 28:02And here's something too. I can't really speak to this,
- 28:06but I just thought I'd throw this out here, someone I know
- 28:10that is tied into information, let's just say it that way and
- 28:17has told me that there's an interesting date coming up April
- 28:1919th. Didn't say why though.
- 28:22I hate to leave you guys hanging like that, but but he is heavily
- 28:26tied into the banking industry, the Bank of International
- 28:31Settlements and the International Monetary Fund.
- 28:35And that's where I think he's getting this information from, I
- 28:38think. But I I lack the time to have a
- 28:43discussion with him about that date.
- 28:46So at any rate, I think it's financial now.
- 28:49This isn't, you know, everyone in the sky is falling kind of
- 28:52stuff. I suspected something that's
- 28:54very technical that will happen on the 19th that will lead to
- 28:59further action in the months after it.
- 29:02I think that's probably what he's saying, but I don't know
- 29:04yet. I really, truly don't know.
- 29:06So we don't, we don't really know what this is, but at
- 29:08minimum, it's an interesting date.
- 29:10We know March 11th, which is what, 5 days from today, the
- 29:13bank term funding program goes away, right?
- 29:17That was the the bailout for the banks from the banking crisis we
- 29:21had a year ago. And they're going to have to
- 29:23kind of face the music with the fact that a lot of their bonds
- 29:29that they hold as assets have have gone down quite
- 29:32significantly in value. We already talked about the
- 29:35reverse repo program. There's a lot going on.
- 29:38Pat, can I, can I give you a break for one second while I say
- 29:42thank you to my channel sponsors?
- 29:44And then we're going to come back, guys, and talk about we're
- 29:48talking about all this craziness in the world, right?
- 29:51But what's going on internally here at the United States?
- 29:54We're going to look at it on a national basis, how state by
- 29:57state we have legal tender progress being made and then
- 30:01Pat's going to talk specifically about where he's an expert and
- 30:05that is Missouri. And I think Pat even has a call
- 30:08to action for you. But first I want to please say
- 30:12thank you to channel sponsor Pinbex Pi MB EX, the online
- 30:17bullion dealer. If you think it's smart to put
- 30:21some of your hard earned paper money into silver, gold,
- 30:24platinum, do yourself a favor. Check out Pinbex.
- 30:28I think and I believe, well, I kind of know what you're going

- 30:59Fourth quarter 2023 results should be very exciting.

- 31:07of course our friends at First Mining Gold, Canadian Gold
- 31:11Development Company, 25 million ounce projects in Canada.
- 31:16You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
- 31:20Pat Holland, back to you. What's going on in the world of
- 31:25of lead gold and silver legal tender legislation?
- 31:28Yeah. Well, as you know, actually I
- 31:30think the full number that we know of right now is 24 states,
- 31:3324 states are going for silver and gold legislation.
- 31:37And I think it's really, really important for people to
- 31:40understand that that that's actually one higher than last
- 31:42year. We had 23 states doing it last
- 31:45year. But the the fact of the matter
- 31:47is when you have that many states trying to do the same
- 31:51thing at the same time, it's just like trying to prevent, you
- 31:55know, without getting into politics, illegal aliens from
- 31:58voting. A lot of states are working
- 32:00very, very hard on that right now at the same time.
- 32:04But it's the same thing with the gold and silver legislation so
- 32:09and all. Pat.
- 32:10Yeah. Sorry to interrupt you.
- 32:12I don't know if you, I know. Just so everybody knows, Pat and
- 32:14I had some technical difficulties before we came on.
- 32:17So he's graciously doing this from his phone.
- 32:21I don't know if you can see the screen, but what I pulled up is
- 32:24the Citizens for Sound Money. They have a a section of their
- 32:29website called Find Campaign. So I'm just kind of scrolling
- 32:32through all the States and I think Daniel Diaz over there is
- 32:37doing a great job of keeping this updated in terms of the
- 32:39States and kind of where they are.
- 32:41And again, I apologize for interrupting you.
- 32:43No, you're good. In fact, I'm glad they have that
- 32:46because you know, once again, I the 10th Amendment Center is
- 32:50generally where I go. I didn't realize there was
- 32:53another source to find state legislation.
- 32:55So I'm grateful to the citizens for sound money for providing
- 32:58such an easy, easy access for me to actually get that
- 33:02information. Let me tell you a little about
- 33:04what's going on in Missouri. In Missouri, we do have a
- 33:08wonderful legal tender bill and it does a few more things than
- 33:12just legal tender. But at any rate, we are engaged
- 33:16apparently in a slow walking process of this legislation out
- 33:20of committee. So this is standard fare.
- 33:24This is usually for political reasons.
- 33:27So if you ask me, Pat, why would why would a committee chairman
- 33:32in the Missouri legislature actually be slow walking a bill?
- 33:36Well, there could be a ton of reasons, but it's most likely
- 33:38one of two things. They want to kill it or they
- 33:42want to use it as leverage. So it's one of the two, but one
- 33:46thing that I do know is that basically most of the
- 33:51legislature is very, very responsive to grassroots action.
- 33:56And therefore I have a call to action and I would like people
- 33:59to help us out and participate in this process.
- 34:02Now this is involving a phone call to the chairman and it, I
- 34:07don't know if you could check your e-mail, Ron, I sent you an
- 34:10e-mail with a link to the Chairman's page on the Missouri
- 34:13House site, but I can also give that information, you know,
- 34:16verbally. The Chairman's name is
- 34:19Representative Michael O'Donnell and the name of the of the
- 34:23committee is financial Institutions.
- 34:26That's where our Silver and gold bill is.
- 34:28It's been in there for six weeks now, six weeks.
- 34:31We did have a hearing that's done and over with.
- 34:34That was over a week ago, but we have not had an executive
- 34:39session. What that means, it's time for
- 34:42the committee members to vote on the bill to find out whether or
- 34:45not it continues on in the process.
- 34:47We're simply not getting that vote.
- 34:49It's just laying there. So this is one thing I want to
- 34:53say before I give out a telephone number, guys.
- 34:56It's very, very important when you engage in grassroots
- 34:59activity that you are civil. And also, I'm going to recommend
- 35:05you smile when you're talking on the phone.
- 35:07Believe it or not, people, most people can hear when you're
- 35:10smiling. And so that comes across as very
- 35:12positive as well. But the message to
- 35:16Representative Michael O'Donnell is it's time to have an
- 35:19executive session. It's time to vote on silver and
- 35:23gold in his committee. So I'm going to give out his
- 35:27telephone number and then also if his e-mail address and we
- 35:31would like to start calling him right away.
- 35:35So his number is 573 and this is his office number, 573-751-3762.
- 35:46I'm going to read it again slower, 573-751-3762.
- 35:55And I think it'd be a really good idea if people in Missouri.
- 35:59And by the way, if you're in Missouri, of course call.
- 36:02If you're not in Missouri, I can't stop you from calling.
- 36:06But the message to the chairman is simple.
- 36:09It's time to vote on silver and gold.
- 36:12Please bring it up it and if you want to, you could even leave a
- 36:15message. And by the way, if lots of
- 36:17people are calling, there's only got one person there answering
- 36:20the phone, so his LA. So most of them will be
- 36:24voicemail. You'll just leave a voicemail.
- 36:26But please give a positive reason as to why you want silver
- 36:30and gold legislation passed in the state of Missouri.
- 36:33So an example of this is, hey that's that's an awesome bill.
- 36:38We finally have a solution to inflation and the threat of a
- 36:42digital currency wrapped up in one bill.
- 36:44And so we'd like to see this go through the process.
- 36:48So that's I want. To interject something, Pat,
- 36:50because I feel passionately about this, and that is for
- 36:54everybody out there that's watching right now.
- 36:57I know one thing about you I can say for sure.
- 37:00Either you love silver or you love gold or you love them both.
- 37:05You love your family. You want to protect your family.
- 37:08You want to protect your wealth with silver and gold.
- 37:11Why? And I think a lot of people then
- 37:13just kind of sit silently. I would throw out this question
- 37:17to you. Why wouldn't you want to get
- 37:19involved or be a a strong proponent at minimum right.
- 37:24A phone call and e-mail whatever it is to help further
- 37:27legislation no matter what state you're in.
- 37:30Because because you know if it's if it has to do with with this
- 37:34with this idea that silver and gold and you want to hold silver
- 37:38and gold. I would think that people and I
- 37:41mean this in a nice way. But like the people would want
- 37:44to see legislation passed in their state that would protect
- 37:48their ability or even give them their their ability to reclaim
- 37:53their constitutional right to use silver and gold as real
- 37:56money. I agree.
- 37:58And the The funny thing is, you know, for instance, when I was
- 38:01talking to the chairman, I've had a couple of meetings with
- 38:04them when I was talking to the chairman.
- 38:05You know, he's all concerned about capital gains taxes,
- 38:09removing capital gains taxes from gold and silver.
- 38:11But you have to. It's money.
- 38:13You can't charge capital gains tax on money, you know.
- 38:17So you can let me, let me. I gotta, I want to say, well, I
- 38:21got to interrupt you again. You cannot.
- 38:23I want to repeat what Pat said. You cannot charge.
- 38:26I'm sorry, I'm yelling. You cannot charge.
- 38:28Capital gains tax on money that would be like if if you had
- 38:33$100,000 in the bank and the DXY index went up by 10% one year
- 38:38that you would be charged a tax on your 10% price on your on
- 38:44your dollars. It doesn't make any sense and
- 38:48and I'm going to interrupt you again because I had another
- 38:51brown breaking thought about that but it's it's it's just
- 38:54absolutely ridiculous that that you charge capital gains tax on
- 39:01could the conversion of one form of money to another form of
- 39:06money. Sorry I interrupted you, Pat.
- 39:08No, you're you're right. And and the same thing goes for
- 39:10sales tax, you know, so we don't have that in Missouri.
- 39:14So we don't have to worry about that.
- 39:15Other states have to worry about it.
- 39:17And so this is a critical thing, a critical juncture I think in
- 39:22American history right now, the dollar, we will still be using
- 39:27the dollar. There isn't a single bill that I
- 39:29have seen in the entire United States of America that says
- 39:32let's get rid of the dollar and just use gold and silver.
- 39:34There's nothing like that. So the bills that are filed
- 39:37across the country are let's use them both together, let the
- 39:40people decide, let them have a choice.
- 39:43But the fact of the matter is the dollar is inflationary.
- 39:46Gold and silver are deflationary.
- 39:49If people understand the concept of what that actually means,
- 39:52guess what they're going to want to use for money Deflationary
- 39:55money, because it goes up in value while they're sleeping.
- 39:58They can buy more stuff with it the next day.
- 40:01That's just not true with the dollar, and not not currently
- 40:04anyway. And I will remind people that we
- 40:06will probably go through a deflationary period.
- 40:10And I don't know when that'll be that might be this year, I meant
- 40:13for all we know. But the fact of the matter is it
- 40:16will be short and I. Mean the Speaking of the dollar,
- 40:20Speaking of the dollar, I remembered my thought, Pat, I
- 40:23have to share this with you. OK.
- 40:25So I have a question for you Pat.
- 40:27Since right now our government charges, the federal government
- 40:31charges a capital gains tax on gold and silver, right?
- 40:35If I have, you know, 1000 ounces of silver that I paid $10.00 for
- 40:41and I sell it today for $25, I've made a a $15,000 profit,
- 40:47which is a capital gain, which means I have to pay tax on that
- 40:51$15,000 when I do my tax return. By the way, I did not do that.
- 40:56I'm just, I've never sold silver, but I'm using that as an
- 40:58example. Here's my question for you Pat.
- 41:01If the government is allowing us to to if if you can charge
- 41:06capital gains tax, you can also write off capital losses.
- 41:11I think there's a limit. I happen to be an old accountant
- 41:14of $3000, but my question would be this Pat if let's just say I
- 41:18had $100,000 in my bank account in 2022.
- 41:23Inflation was officially at 10%, right?
- 41:28So I lost 10% of my value of my dollars in my bank account.
- 41:32My question is why can't I write that off as a capital loss?
- 41:36If I Does that make sense? Yeah, well, I'm sorry.
- 41:39You're wanting a world without double standards for taxation.
- 41:42I'm sorry, buddy. It you're.
- 41:45I'm sorry. It's just not going to happen
- 41:47anytime soon. And then that applies, say.
- 41:49This this is not, this is not financial advice.
- 41:52I'm not, I'm not recommending anyone do that.
- 41:55I'm just right at eloquently pointed out it's kind of a
- 41:58double standard. Sorry, Pat.
- 42:00Yeah, not just kind of. It is a double standard.
- 42:03The same thing is true with, you know what?
- 42:05The lottery winnings. You win the lottery.
- 42:07You got to pay taxes, you spend, you know, $10,000 on lottery
- 42:11tickets during the year and you win nothing.
- 42:13I don't think you can write that off, No.
- 42:15So you know it's a double. Standard you you can only write
- 42:18off gambling losses unless the tax code is changed.
- 42:23But you can only write off gambling losses to the extent
- 42:27that you have gambling wins, so that's correct.
- 42:30So so you know if a person wins 10 million in the Lotto you know
- 42:36and they only spent 10 and it doesn't matter what they spent
- 42:39all those other as far as I know again I'm I'm my my accounting
- 42:43skills are rusty but I but I do know that's the the the law for
- 42:47for gambling winnings. Well, you're right.
- 42:50And of course the the other law of gambling is there's no such
- 42:54thing as a lottery if you don't have losers.
- 42:57And so you can't write off your loss.
- 43:00You know, your loss of buying tickets unless you have a win.
- 43:03So you you describe that quite eloquently and I want to say,
- 43:06hey listen man, I'm a big fan of the cowbell and we got 213 likes
- 43:11and I think it's time. Yeah.
- 43:13More cowbell, please. More cowbell.
- 43:16All right, here we go. I'm going to ring it.
- 43:18Ring the cowbell. Whoa, whoa, wait, wait.
- 43:20I got to get that back on the screen.
- 43:23Hi, everybody. It's time for the cowbell.
- 43:26So if you don't like the cowbell, turn off your volume or
- 43:28turn down your volume. Let's ring it and then Pat.
- 43:36We always do one extra ring for Jake from.
- 43:40Jake, there we go. Parts.
- 43:42Yeah. Yeah.
- 43:44Did did Jake send that bell to you?
- 43:47No, Joe. A guy named Joe F OK, gotcha.
- 43:50Who was a regular here in the basement and he works real close
- 43:54to our house. He actually brought it by the
- 43:55house one day on his lunch place.
- 43:58So cool. That's where that that's where
- 44:00that came from. OK.
- 44:02Well, I I'm a big fan of the cowbell and if you guys have not
- 44:04seen that old Saturday Night Live skit with Christopher
- 44:07Walken with more cowbell, please look that up sometime.
- 44:11It's a funny skit only takes about four minutes to watch, but
- 44:14that's where that came from and I do believe that was in the 80s
- 44:16that that happened, might have been the early 90s.
- 44:20So to get back to our conversation though, and I don't
- 44:23know if it showed up in the chat, but I did put the
- 44:25telephone number in for Representative O'Donnell, the
- 44:28chairman of the committee that is slow walking gold and silver.
- 44:31And remember, when you call, be nice.
- 44:34Being angry, being bitter or accusing people doesn't help at
- 44:38all when it comes to getting legislation done.
- 44:41And that's a fact. So I'd like to give out the
- 44:43number one more time for Representative Michael
- 44:47O'Donnell. His number is 573-751-3762 and
- 44:56his e-mail address is Michael spelled out period O'Donnell at
- 45:04house.mo.gov So if you prefer to e-mail him and let him know,
- 45:11hey, listen, let our silver and gold bill free, You know, it's
- 45:14time to actually actually have a vote on this thing.
- 45:18We're trying to get an executive session for next Tuesday.
- 45:21You brought up the 11th. The 11th is a very big day for
- 45:24us too, Ron. We have a a knock in shock
- 45:28operation going on. And I don't want to say exactly
- 45:31what we're doing yet because, you know, I'm waiting on a few
- 45:34things to happen first before I can announce what the mission
- 45:37is, because we always have a mission with knock in shock.
- 45:40But we also have a rally that day in the Rotunda of the
- 45:44Capitol. All grassroots are always
- 45:46invited to all of our rallies. These are big rallies.
- 45:49Our first one was like 400 folks.
- 45:52So let's get another 400 folks out there and then we can
- 45:57support Silver and Gold that day as well.
- 46:00And like I said, I'll, I'll probably make an announcement.
- 46:02It'll be in my e-mail list. If you're on my e-mail list,
- 46:06you'll see what I'm talking about.
- 46:07But I'm waiting for something to happen 1st, and then I can make
- 46:10an announcement of what we're going to do with knock and
- 46:12shock. And so, if you want to get on
- 46:14Pat's e-mail list, go to mowfree.org, correct?
- 46:22That's correct. That is absolutely correct.
- 46:23That, yeah, if you go to our website and you go to the bottom
- 46:27right hand or right hand side of the screen, Scroll down just a
- 46:30little bit, you'll see where you can enter our e-mail list.
- 46:33So if you're in Missouri particularly, you know, if
- 46:37you're not in Missouri, you can join the list too.
- 46:40But Missourians, please join the list.
- 46:42We have to work together to get legislation like this done,
- 46:45whereas this passes in other states very easily, in some some
- 46:49cases not so easily. We seem to have a really hard
- 46:52time getting this across the finish line despite the sheer
- 46:56popularity of the bill with the grassroots, with the people of
- 46:59Missouri and with the legislature.
- 47:01Yet we we get slow walked again this year.
- 47:04We need to actually start moving this bill and it's not like
- 47:08we're out of time, we're not out of time.
- 47:10We have plenty of time to get this bill done, but we do need
- 47:12to get it moving again. It's been sitting in a committee
- 47:15for six weeks, so we need to start moving it again.
- 47:18And once again, Chairman O'Donnell.
- 47:20And once again, if you live in another state and you want to
- 47:23call, I can't stop you. But everyone in Missouri
- 47:25definitely needs to call Chairman O'donnell's number
- 47:28573751 3762. And that's how you get a hold of
- 47:36the chairman and just leave a nice message, if you will,
- 47:40saying that you're very supportive of HB 1955.
- 47:45That's the silver and gold build in question here.
- 47:48That's Representative Hardwick. Hardwick's been on your show
- 47:50before. He actually was in the basement,
- 47:53yes. That's right.
- 47:54Wonderful man. Yep, he's a good guy.
- 47:57And so at any rate, he's working the inside of this.
- 48:00We're working the outside of this.
- 48:02We're trying to get it through. And this is very important for
- 48:05Missouri and I think it's important for these other states
- 48:08that I don't think I know for a fact it's important.
- 48:11But I I'm starting to get the feeling that we're running out
- 48:14of time, that we need to get this stuff done, the silver and
- 48:16gold legislation in all these states as quickly as possible.
- 48:19And then also another exciting aspect of it is trade between
- 48:23the States and silver and gold. Wouldn't that be cool?
- 48:25It's gonna happen. Because look how many states are
- 48:27going for depositories. I bet that's really wild.
- 48:31And and let me remind the silver and gold enthusiast out there
- 48:36who's with us today, legal tender legislation on any level
- 48:42even if it goes up to things like asset backed digital
- 48:45current, you know asset backed digital currencies, a modern way
- 48:50to make gold and silver functional.
- 48:52But, but at any level, any type of silver and gold legal tender
- 48:56legislation can only help the overall demand profile for
- 49:01precious metals. Would you, would you agree with
- 49:03that, Pat? I would and that's a that's a
- 49:07supply demand issue. That is basic economics
- 49:11actually. So if you have depositories
- 49:14across the United States starting to secure some of their
- 49:18reserves in the form of gold and silver as opposed to bonds or
- 49:21treasuries, which most states actually hold their reserves in,
- 49:25I think there might be a little bit of a supply problem, I
- 49:29think. I think that's possible.
- 49:32Well, let's let me, let's just remember right now the gold
- 49:36price is rocking and rolling the silver price and if it's OK with
- 49:40Pat, we're going to go out and check and see if Pat brought
- 49:43good luck to the silver price when he was on here.
- 49:45But, but I'm going to pull it up here in a second, Pat.
- 49:48OK. You know this?
- 49:50This I have not looked today, yeah.
- 49:52Not look today. Well, we'll see if.
- 49:53We'll see if Pat Holland brought us good luck.
- 49:56But this. But this legislation can only
- 49:58serve the increased demand. And let's not forget guys, this
- 50:02is critical for silver and Gold investors.
- 50:05Gold has been rocking and rolling.
- 50:07Silver's hanging in there. Maybe we're above $24.00.
- 50:11It's been doing that with absolutely 0 interest.
- 50:17Very very very very poor. Bad sentiment, feelings in the
- 50:21Western countries. Major outflows from the GLDETF.
- 50:25Major outflows from the SLVETF retail silver investment.
- 50:31Down, down, down. OK, so so think about that.
- 50:34Silver and gold have hung in there.
- 50:35Gold's bumping up against an all time high, but it's done that
- 50:40with Western United States, Europe demand and sentiment
- 50:44being in the toilet. Imagine what could happen if
- 50:48sentiment just got a little better.
- 50:49Rick Rule, I love to say. The saying says Silver doesn't
- 50:53have to be loved to to skyrocket.
- 50:56Silver just needs to be a little less hated, right?
- 51:00And you know things like this legal tender, I mean this is a
- 51:03movement sweeping across the country.
- 51:06It's important to us. It's a big deal.
- 51:08And let's go out Pat if it's OK with you and check the check the
- 51:12silver price. See how we're doing.
- 51:14See it see if Pat Holland brought us some some good luck
- 51:17today. You know what we'll just go to
- 51:19pin backs. I think they oh oh what do you
- 51:21know pin backs channel sponsor silver.
- 51:24Well Pat you you raised the price by $0.50 per oz.
- 51:28I think we'll give you an A plus.
- 51:30And OK, cool. Thank you.
- 51:31Look at gold at 2142. You have a few more minutes Pat,
- 51:36just to run through. Susie provided me with some some
- 51:39headlines today on what's going on.
- 51:41We can get everybody up to speed as to why we're seeing this.
- 51:45All according to I believe this is from Kitco.
- 51:48Gold price remains strong as Fed chair.
- 51:50Powell sings the same song. Again, this is from Kitco.
- 51:56The gold market is holding its recent gains, but it's not
- 51:59seeing any new momentum. I think this article's a few
- 52:02hours old. It's Fed Reserve chair, is it?
- 52:06I always get it mixed up. Is it drone pile or gomer Gomer
- 52:08pile? I think they're interchangeable.
- 52:12Hold on. Yes, Susie, Yes, yes.
- 52:24Do You Need Me up 20 1? Dollars for gold.
- 52:29Oh, wow, Susie says. Gold's up 21 dollars.
- 52:32Sorry guys, Susie and I are still working through that, but
- 52:35the Fed reserve Paul's going to be speaking today.
- 52:39So you know apparently he's singing this prepared remarks
- 52:42were were read by the market. Are you still with us, Pat?
- 52:45I am. OK, let's go look at this one
- 52:48real quick. Gold price because the other big
- 52:50news story we're going to get this week is on Friday, we're
- 52:54going to get jobs numbers and we all know the high level of
- 52:58suspicion towards the jobs numbers that that, that, that,
- 53:03that are going on. But today ADP put out their
- 53:06report, they always do it on Wednesday and they missed
- 53:09expectations. So you know Friday I've heard
- 53:12several people say could be a a dicey day for the I'm going to
- 53:18put you on full screen there, Pat for the for the precious
- 53:21metals markets as we get from the Bureau of Labor and
- 53:25Statistics the most recent jobs numbers because we all know
- 53:28Bidenomics is working so well. Yeah.
- 53:32In fact, I want to tell you a heartbreaking story.
- 53:35And anyone here who who's listening to us today that
- 53:39actually visits their local coin store, I'm going to ask you guys
- 53:43a favor above and beyond calling Representative O'Donnell.
- 53:47And that's to ask basically if they're getting a lot of silver
- 53:50and gold coming into their store.
- 53:53And I'm starting to hear from other people that they are.
- 53:56A lot of people are selling gold and silver right now, but it's
- 54:00not for the reasons you think. It's not because the price is
- 54:03higher right now. It's because they're really
- 54:07hurting and they need the money. And so this is exactly what we,
- 54:12Mike Maloney, had actually predicted would happen towards
- 54:16the end of the cycle is that people would sell out on gold or
- 54:20some people would sell out on gold and silver just because
- 54:23they desperately need the money. They cannot keep up with
- 54:25inflation. So the only other thing I would
- 54:29say is in regards to that is people do everything you can to
- 54:34hang in there. If this stuff is still going to
- 54:37go up and of course the states get legislation done and
- 54:41depositories done that will help as well.
- 54:44But the real problem is over printing the dollar.
- 54:47I mean that's the real problem. This is your protection.
- 54:50Sell something else so you know something else you have.
- 54:54And and by the way, I hate to give financial advice and it
- 54:57breaks my heart when I see that. So this is not a good situation
- 55:02for a lot of people right now. The inflation is really
- 55:05devastating and we need gold and silver.
- 55:08And by the way, that is our constitutional right.
- 55:11That is 100% our constitutional right businesses.
- 55:15I've talked with a lot of businesses that seem to be very
- 55:17interested in the idea of transacting in gold and silver
- 55:19too. So this isn't just a, you know,
- 55:23a wild, harebrained scheme cooked up by, you know, a couple
- 55:27of, you know, government dissenters in the United States
- 55:30of America to try and say the dollar is bad.
- 55:34No, we're doing this for survival.
- 55:37It's for survival gang. So it's not about getting rich
- 55:40for me, it's about literally surviving.
- 55:43Yeah, yeah. And I'm and I'm hearing that
- 55:45same thing from several contacts including our friend coin shop
- 55:48Chris, who over the last seems like 6-7 weeks was telling me
- 55:52about people coming into the shop and selling some silver,
- 55:56selling some gold because they need to buy groceries or they
- 56:00need to pay their rent or they need to make a car payment.
- 56:03And it is heartbreaking, no doubt about it.
- 56:06And I think it'll last case. But also I guess to a certain
- 56:10degree, it also does show us that your silver and gold can
- 56:15provide for you during times of hardship.
- 56:19You know, I guess the, the pardon the pun, but the silver
- 56:22silver lining and all of that. And yeah, Pat, right.
- 56:25Like you said, this is what our founding fathers, right?
- 56:29You know, the Hamilton and the guys that wrote the US
- 56:33Constitution, they are giving you a high 5 right now.
- 56:37You know Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, This is what our
- 56:41founding, I mean Thomas Jefferson said the biggest
- 56:43threat to our country is not an invading army but central banks
- 56:48and big corporate banking interest.
- 56:50So it'll be great to watch as things progressed, Pat, that I
- 56:55forget anything. I'll put some links and and
- 56:58phone numbers and all that in the description of this video.
- 57:02But on behalf of all the viewers for what you've done for us
- 57:06today and over the last year plus.
- 57:08Thank you Mr. Pat Holland. Thank you, Ron.
- 57:12Thank you for entertaining, you know me on your show and
- 57:15everything. I really do appreciate it.
- 57:18Important date March 11th, gang. Monday at the Capitol in
- 57:21Missouri, Jefferson City Rotunda.
- 57:24We will have a giant rally. Gold and silver will be a part
- 57:27of that rally. That's all I'm willing to say
- 57:29right now. So this is a big deal for
- 57:34Missouri and we need grassroots to come together.
- 57:38Apparently the fact that this bill is incredibly popular has
- 57:41more Co sponsors than any other bill.
- 57:45The fact that it's gotten so many phone calls and so many
- 57:47emails apparently isn't enough for O'Donnell.
- 57:50So please do light up his phone today.
- 57:53I'm I'm asking. I'm asking a favor, gang.
- 57:56Let's get O'Donnell to understand how big this is and
- 57:59how much we want it. So once again, I'm going to give
- 58:03out his telephone number, 573, 751-3762.
- 58:10And if you leave a message, just say please exec on gold and
- 58:14silver HB 1955 or you could just simply say we need a vote in
- 58:19your committee on gold and silver.
- 58:21So that's essentially what you're asking for.
- 58:24An executive session is a voting session in the committee.
- 58:27So that's and then we shorten that, you know, 'cause we
- 58:29shorten everything in Missouri, we call that, you know,
- 58:31executing or executing out. So that's what we're trying to
- 58:37do. The gold and silver thing is a
- 58:39big deal here in Missouri, very big deal.
- 58:42I guess some of the powers that be aren't real happy with the
- 58:44bill. And I think it's time that we
- 58:47show the might and the power of the grassroots to Chairman
- 58:52O'Donnell. I think he needs to see how many
- 58:54phone calls can be generated, how many people are wanting gold
- 58:57and silver legislation in the state, How many people actually
- 59:01care about this issue a great deal.
- 59:04And by the way, we have not received any negative feedback
- 59:08from any bankers. So specifically on HP 1955,
- 59:13nothing. They're OK with it.
- 59:14They're neutral. They're certainly not supporting
- 59:16it. They're not making phone calls
- 59:18saying this is the best thing since sliced bread, but they are
- 59:20not fighting it because you know why, gang?
- 59:24This is a really important point to drive home to, especially
- 59:26when you have so many states doing this.
- 59:29The fact of the matter is mom and pop banks, credit unions and
- 59:34regional banks will disappear under a central bank digital
- 59:37currency. They have no function anymore
- 59:40and that's exactly gold. And silver is exactly what they
- 59:45need to say in business. And we like our mom and pop
- 59:48banks in our credit unions. We don't want them to go away.
- 59:51They are pillars of the community.
- 59:53They have always been there for us.
- 59:55It's the Federal Reserve over printing dollars that is
- 59:58literally writing their epitaphs now.
- 1:00:01It is not you and I. So please do participate.
- 1:00:05Please help us out. Please give Representative
- 1:00:07O'Donnell a call and I really do appreciate it.
- 1:00:11Yeah, well, Pat we we appreciate you being on the here in Ron's
- 1:00:15basement on this live stream for over an hour.
- 1:00:19On behalf of all the viewers, thank you.
- 1:00:21I also want to say thank you to our moderator team helping out
- 1:00:25moderate the chat. I always type 8 because eight is
- 1:00:29great for those that moderate. And Pat, we're going to look
- 1:00:32forward to seeing you again soon here in the basement.
- 1:00:35Thank you very much Ron. Be blessed.
- 1:00:37And again, I really appreciate you having me back buddy.
- 1:00:40Love you. Love everyone in the basement.
- 1:00:42Thank you guys and then for all you guys do.
- 1:00:46So let's keep this thing going here and believe me the solution
- 1:00:49is gold and silver. That is the solution.
- 1:00:51And it may not be the end all, be all, but it's definitely part
- 1:00:55of the transition from one currency to another over time
- 1:00:59over history for over 1000 years.
- 1:01:01When one Fiat currency fails in a country, they move to gold and
- 1:01:05silver in the interim and then move to another one because they
- 1:01:08have to value gold and silver from the old currency to the
- 1:01:11new. And something is going to happen
- 1:01:14here in the United States. Here with CDB CS.
- 1:01:16It's coming gang. It's coming.
- 1:01:19Hold on, hold on, hold on. Pat.
- 1:01:20Sue, could you please repeat that, Susie?
- 1:01:23But it definitely three more likes for the gong today. 03
- 1:01:29more likes for the gong. Well, hey guys, let's let's ring
- 1:01:32the gong. What are we at 297?
- 1:01:34I can't see how many likes. Right, 299 it looks like to me
- 1:01:37only Mac. Oh man, Let's get the gong done.
- 1:01:40Let's get 300 there. Hold on.
- 1:01:44That's right. Our old friend Stu gave us a
- 1:01:46gong. So we're going to ring the gong
- 1:01:51for you out there. Basement dwellers, right?
- 1:01:54You're you are the most important part of the basement.
- 1:01:57Thank you, Stu, for the gong. And we're going to ring the gong
- 1:01:59for Pat Holland three times. I'm always fascinated with how
- 1:02:09that resonates. Pat.
- 1:02:10Thank you. We'll look.
- 1:02:12Forward to seeing you soon. And thanks to all our viewers.
- 1:02:15Have a great day. God bless all of you.
- 1:02:17Thank you.
