- 0:09Speaker 1: Hello everyone, and welcome into this edition of to check
- 0:12Speaker 1: O Daily. It's Andrew Decheco here of Inside the Birds
- 0:15Speaker 1: dot Com.
- 0:17Speaker 2: And the Eagles improved a five.
- 0:18Speaker 1: And two on the season, beating the Minnesota Vikings twenty
- 0:22Speaker 1: eight to twenty two. And it was a game that
- 0:25Speaker 1: had a little bit of everything, but this is going
- 0:28Speaker 1: to be known as.
- 0:30Speaker 2: The Jalen Hurts Game.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts completed nineteen of twenty three pass attempts for
- 0:35Speaker 1: three hundred and twenty six yards and three touchdowns. Wide
- 0:38Speaker 1: receiver DeVante Smith turned in a career best performance, hauling
- 0:42Speaker 1: in nine of eleven pass targets for one hundred and
- 0:45Speaker 1: eighty one yards and a touchdown, and that touchdown went
- 0:48Speaker 1: for seventy nine yards, which was the longest reception of
- 0:52Speaker 1: Smith's career. And aj Brown also eclipsed the one hundred
- 0:55Speaker 1: yard receiving threshold, accumulating one hundred and twenty one yards
- 0:59Speaker 1: and two TOUCHSNS on four receptions. But I thought at
- 1:04Speaker 1: the end of that game, that's where the Eagles were
- 1:06Speaker 1: really able to rise to the occasion. They get the
- 1:09Speaker 1: thirty seven yard kick return from wide receiver Xavier Gibson,
- 1:12Speaker 1: who was making his Eagles debut, which gave the Eagles
- 1:15Speaker 1: field position at the forty three with one fifty two remaining,
- 1:19Speaker 1: and then in the end, when the game was hanging
- 1:22Speaker 1: in the balance, it was Jalen Hurts on a third
- 1:25Speaker 1: and nine delivering a forty six yard dropping the bucket
- 1:28Speaker 1: to wide receiver AJ Brown and it seemed to silence
- 1:32Speaker 1: that stadium, which was pretty loud throughout the game, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: the Eagles salted away the remaining one thirty five to
- 1:39Speaker 1: improve to five and two on the season. That was
- 1:42Speaker 1: the best game that Jalen Hurts has had all season,
- 1:45Speaker 1: the most efficient, But it was about maneuvering the pocket,
- 1:49Speaker 1: which I think he did a phenomenal job in doing,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and he was decisive. He was extending plays on those
- 1:58Speaker 1: scramble drills. That's where he's most lethal. And you could
- 2:02Speaker 1: look at some of those plays, the thirty seven yard
- 2:05Speaker 1: touchdown to AJ Brown or even the twenty six yard
- 2:07Speaker 1: touchdown to AJ Brown, where not many quarterbacks are as
- 2:12Speaker 1: equipped as Jalen Hurts is to make plays outside of structure.
- 2:17Speaker 1: But again, that only happens if you have a quarterback
- 2:20Speaker 1: who is confident and capable of handling pressure up front.
- 2:23Speaker 1: And again the Eagles prove it they could do that.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Brian Flores in the Minnesota Vikings defense threw a lot
- 2:30Speaker 1: at the Eagles, a lot of different looks, but the
- 2:33Speaker 1: Eagles held tough and Jalen Hurts was able to kind
- 2:36Speaker 1: of remain unflappable in the pressure, facing the pressure and
- 2:43Speaker 1: was able to create plays down the field. That was
- 2:46Speaker 1: the big thing for me this week that I noticed
- 2:48Speaker 1: from the Kevin Patulo offense. They were more willing to
- 2:51Speaker 1: push the field, pushed the ball down the field. They
- 2:54Speaker 1: took advantage of a aggressive Minnesota Vikings defense.
- 2:58Speaker 2: The middle of the field was more.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Less wide open, and that allowed Jalen Hurts to find
- 3:04Speaker 1: Davante and aj and really start to pick apart that
- 3:08Speaker 1: Minnesota Vikings secondary, especially cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, who had a
- 3:14Speaker 1: very difficult game against his former teammates. But the scramble plays,
- 3:20Speaker 1: that's something that the Eagles worked really hard as a
- 3:22Speaker 1: team and as a coaching staff, and they have the
- 3:25Speaker 1: personnel that makes it better.
- 3:27Speaker 2: But they went more under center.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Remember they lost Cam Jurgens early in the game with
- 3:33Speaker 1: a knee injury. He was ruled out and then Brett
- 3:35Speaker 1: Toth had to go in there and play center. So
- 3:38Speaker 1: they were doing more under center there due to you know,
- 3:41Speaker 1: it gets a little dicey if you're asking toad to
- 3:43Speaker 1: snap to shotgun and that could lead to some turbulence.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So they went more under center. And I thought this
- 3:52Speaker 1: seventy nine yard touchdown from Jalen Hurst to DeVante Smith
- 3:57Speaker 1: was such a great tendency breaker. They were under center,
- 4:01Speaker 1: they went to play action, and they hit DeVante Smith
- 4:04Speaker 1: for the seventy nine yard touchdown. It was something that
- 4:07Speaker 1: DeVante Smith and this is learned after reading some of
- 4:11Speaker 1: the quotes after the game and hearing some of the interviews.
- 4:14Speaker 2: That he lobbied for.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And the Eagles spotted its vulnerability in the Viking secondary.
- 4:21Speaker 1: So hats off to them for collaborating, communicating, and everybody
- 4:24Speaker 1: believing in the play call. And Nick Sirianni after the
- 4:28Speaker 1: game gave his offensive coaches a lot of credit in
- 4:31Speaker 1: terms of their adjustment at halftime and in game and
- 4:35Speaker 1: noting that they saw something with the middle of the
- 4:37Speaker 1: field that was going to make the middle of the
- 4:41Speaker 1: field open so that they can execute. Kind of interesting
- 4:45Speaker 1: to see how the Vikings were trying to stop the
- 4:49Speaker 1: Eagles push play, so they had outside linebacker Tyler Batty
- 4:55Speaker 1: aligning horizontal at the line of scrimmage, and then they
- 4:58Speaker 1: had defensive lineman Jalen Edmond and Levi Drake Rodriguez hovering
- 5:03Speaker 1: over both sides and positioned to go over the top.
- 5:06Speaker 2: It was close, but the Eagles still converted.
- 5:08Speaker 1: But I thought that it was really interesting to see
- 5:11Speaker 1: that kind of alignment as teams are going to try
- 5:13Speaker 1: and get more and more creative to stop what the
- 5:15Speaker 1: Eagles are so effective at in the short yarded situations.
- 5:21Speaker 1: They really really executed the sim pressure well. On the
- 5:24Speaker 1: forty two yard Jyalox Hunt interception of Wentz that.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Went for a touchdown.
- 5:29Speaker 1: That doesn't happen without interior pressure from Jalen Carter. But
- 5:32Speaker 1: on that play the Eagles brought Bawn and they dropped
- 5:35Speaker 1: Hunt and they were able to kind of fool Carson
- 5:38Speaker 1: Wentz in a way and jay Loox was able to
- 5:40Speaker 1: come up with the interception. Again, Jalen Carter tattoos them
- 5:44Speaker 1: coming through the line of scrimmage, splitting the double team,
- 5:47Speaker 1: but it was also a heads up play by Jalyox
- 5:49Speaker 1: to react quickly securing the football, getting upfield and finishing
- 5:53Speaker 1: the play and The pressure was also there on the
- 5:57Speaker 1: Makuba interception. So while they weren't getting home necess Sarah
- 6:00Speaker 1: Lee for sacks, the Eagles pressure was there. They forced
- 6:04Speaker 1: Wentz to roll to his right and he threw up
- 6:06Speaker 1: a dangerous throw where Quinnon Mitchell and Drew mccuba were
- 6:10Speaker 1: there covering Jordan Addison. They sort of converged and that's
- 6:14Speaker 1: where Drew mccuba was able to high point the football
- 6:17Speaker 1: and secure it. Again, the pressures were there today. They
- 6:21Speaker 1: didn't have a lot of sacks. They had just two.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Moro Jomo had one from the interior. That's his third
- 6:27Speaker 1: of the season, the most on the team.
- 6:29Speaker 2: He left the.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Game after being evaluated for a concussion. He collided there
- 6:32Speaker 1: with Keithley Ringo on a tackle. We'll have to wait
- 6:34Speaker 1: and see about him. But josh ushe got into the
- 6:37Speaker 1: sack column for the first time this season, and that's
- 6:40Speaker 1: something that going into the game, that was my bold prediction.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I had a feeling that josh Usha was going to
- 6:45Speaker 1: get home and get Wentz for a sack this week,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and that came to fruition. So now they have Patrick
- 6:51Speaker 1: Johnson with a sack, josh Usha with the sack, we'll see.
- 6:55Speaker 1: But there was also a lot of Jahad Campbell off
- 6:59Speaker 1: the edge today and I'm curios used to see what
- 7:00Speaker 1: the snap counts look like when they come out in
- 7:02Speaker 1: the morning, but a lot of na Kobe Dean at
- 7:06Speaker 1: off ball linebacker opposite Zach Bond, and you saw the energy,
- 7:10Speaker 1: the toughness, and the swagger that the defense has when
- 7:14Speaker 1: the Kobe's on the field. He brings that positive energy
- 7:18Speaker 1: and he gets downhill and makes plays. He's kind of
- 7:21Speaker 1: a just a source of I guess energy. He's always
- 7:26Speaker 1: he has this boundless energy out there and he plays
- 7:28Speaker 1: with such physicality. He made a nice play to drop
- 7:31Speaker 1: Xavier Smith on for a four yard loss in the
- 7:34Speaker 1: third quarter, and I just thought he was active. He
- 7:36Speaker 1: looked really good out there in his first defensive snaps
- 7:39Speaker 1: of the season, and because he was out there, that
- 7:41Speaker 1: afforded the Eagles the flexibility to deploy Jahid Campbell off
- 7:45Speaker 1: the edge. We talked a lot about that leading up
- 7:47Speaker 1: to the game, and while I didn't notice anything upon
- 7:50Speaker 1: first watch that stuck out to me in terms of
- 7:53Speaker 1: Jahid Campbell and his ability off the edge.
- 7:56Speaker 2: But it did.
- 7:57Speaker 1: There were no splash plays, but there was nothing over egregious.
- 8:01Speaker 1: He seemed to do a nice job setting the edge
- 8:03Speaker 1: when necessary and making some plays. But he wasn't necessarily
- 8:07Speaker 1: hurt from a ton But I'm curious to see how
- 8:10Speaker 1: that develops. And then the Eagles did lose another edge
- 8:12Speaker 1: rusher in this game, Azizo Jalari with the hamstring injury,
- 8:16Speaker 1: who was ruled out shortly thereafter, so we'll have to
- 8:19Speaker 1: wait and see what the updates are on him. But
- 8:24Speaker 1: really good individual defensive plays.
- 8:26Speaker 2: We talked about.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Jay Looks Hunt, we talked about Drew mccooper with the interception,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but Cooper dejene made a really nice play on a
- 8:36Speaker 1: second and one back shoulder throw in the left corner
- 8:38Speaker 1: of the end zone to Justin Jefferson. He couldn't have
- 8:41Speaker 1: defended it any better. He played through the catch, he
- 8:44Speaker 1: didn't panic, he didn't bail on his technique, and he
- 8:47Speaker 1: forced the incompletion. And then that drive rather than concede
- 8:50Speaker 1: a touchdown, the Eagles defense held the Vikings to a
- 8:53Speaker 1: thirty four yard field goal. Plays like that in the
- 8:56Speaker 1: grand scheme of things, it kind of it gets lost
- 8:59Speaker 1: maybe when you look at the game and its totality
- 9:02Speaker 1: and how it plays out but in the moment, that
- 9:03Speaker 1: was a huge play, and it certainly turned out to
- 9:06Speaker 1: be a huge play when you look back on some
- 9:08Speaker 1: of the different sequences in this game. We talked a
- 9:11Speaker 1: lot about mccuba with the interception and being able to
- 9:15Speaker 1: showcase his ball skills, but he does need to become.
- 9:18Speaker 2: A more sure tackler, especially in space.
- 9:22Speaker 1: He had a chance to wrap up Justin Jefferson on
- 9:24Speaker 1: a second and eleven that resulted in a forty yard play,
- 9:28Speaker 1: and that was on the heels of last week against
- 9:31Speaker 1: the Giants where Wandelle Robinson ends up getting a thirty
- 9:34Speaker 1: five yard touchdown. Macuba has a chance to get him
- 9:37Speaker 1: towards the right sideline. Cants whether it was a poor
- 9:39Speaker 1: angle or just an inability to wrap up, and those
- 9:42Speaker 1: things can't happen. Now, you do have to give him
- 9:45Speaker 1: Cuba some credit because he did exhibit some physicality and
- 9:48Speaker 1: on a play where he came down to thump running
- 9:51Speaker 1: back Xavier Scott at the one yard line following a
- 9:55Speaker 1: four yard run. Xavier Scott, by the way, I was
- 9:58Speaker 1: watching him run throughout the game. He runs with a
- 10:01Speaker 1: really high pad level, and he took some shots and
- 10:05Speaker 1: to the point where I was starting to be of
- 10:07Speaker 1: the belief that he was going to give up the
- 10:09Speaker 1: football if the Eagles struck him just right, because he
- 10:12Speaker 1: didn't really get lower burrow and he was just exposing
- 10:16Speaker 1: a lot of his tourso and you know, that might
- 10:19Speaker 1: be something to keep an eye on down the line.
- 10:21Speaker 1: But I thought he was prone to I thought the
- 10:24Speaker 1: Eagles were primed to force a fumble on him, just
- 10:26Speaker 1: based off his running style.
- 10:29Speaker 2: How about Jake Elliott.
- 10:30Speaker 1: After a strong start to the season, it was kind
- 10:32Speaker 1: of surprising to see Jke Elliot missed the forty two
- 10:34Speaker 1: yard field goal indoors. No less, one of Elliott's kickoffs
- 10:38Speaker 1: also failed to reach.
- 10:39Speaker 2: The landing zone.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Hasn't happened often to Jake Elliott this season where you've
- 10:43Speaker 1: been able to look back and identify any blemishes, But
- 10:47Speaker 1: there were a couple today. So it wasn't perfect by
- 10:51Speaker 1: any stretch. There are certain things like the penalties. For example,
- 10:55Speaker 1: the Eagles were penalized eight times for sixty four yards.
- 10:58Speaker 1: That's a recurring issue. There were moments in the game
- 11:02Speaker 1: where aj Brown on a third and one it was
- 11:06Speaker 1: a false star and then becomes a third and six.
- 11:09Speaker 1: There was a I want to say a third and
- 11:12Speaker 1: twenty because of Saquon Barkley. It was a holding penalty
- 11:18Speaker 1: that can't happen. So there were, you know, a few
- 11:23Speaker 1: plays that you can look at, look back on and
- 11:24Speaker 1: say the Eagles need to be better there. But yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 1: offensive holding it became the third and twenty and there
- 11:32Speaker 1: were drives that had three consecutive or three and consecutive
- 11:37Speaker 1: drives that had three and outs. So that's something that
- 11:40Speaker 1: they still need to become more proficient at. But I
- 11:45Speaker 1: thought the Eagles passing offense really rose to the occasion.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Jayalen Hurts with a perfect quarterback rating, uplifting the offense,
- 11:53Speaker 1: elevating the offense, maximizing his weapons at his disposal, deserves
- 11:57Speaker 1: a lot of credit for that, handling the pressure well,
- 11:59Speaker 1: being really poised and collected. Not many quarterbacks are as
- 12:03Speaker 1: equipped to go into an environment like that, and you
- 12:06Speaker 1: know all the talk leading up to a coming off
- 12:08Speaker 1: two losses, for somebody like Jalen Hurts, he thrives in
- 12:12Speaker 1: these moments. He doesn't shy away from it. So that
- 12:16Speaker 1: was really the big takeaway from today.

- 15:47Speaker 3: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans twenty
- 15:51Speaker 3: one and up.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And how about aj Dillon being inactive.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So the Eagles went into the game with Saquon Barkley,
- 15:57Speaker 1: Will Shipley, and Tank Bigsby at running back. Tank Bigsby
- 16:02Speaker 1: got a carry on the first series for eleven yards.
- 16:05Speaker 1: His first touch is an Eagle ended up being the
- 16:07Speaker 1: longest carry that the Eagles had all afternoon. He seems
- 16:12Speaker 1: to be ahead of Will Shipley in the pecking order there.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Speaking of Will Shipley, he had some really nice blitz
- 16:19Speaker 1: pickups and pass protection. There was one that resulted I
- 16:22Speaker 1: want to say it was against Eric Wilson, the linebacker,
- 16:25Speaker 1: where it resulted in a Devonte Smith's sixteen yard reception.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Good stuff there from all three of the running backs.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Saquon Barkley in the Eagles running game wasn't able to
- 16:34Speaker 1: get back on track this week after it appeared like
- 16:38Speaker 1: they were. Saquon had twenty four yards on five carries
- 16:41Speaker 1: on the opening drive, but finished with just forty four
- 16:44Speaker 1: yards on eighteen carries.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Not good enough there.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I thought the Eagles did a nice job of not
- 16:50Speaker 1: feeding into running the football to sault the game away.
- 16:53Speaker 2: The passing game was working.
- 16:55Speaker 1: They hit the kill shot to aj Brown the forty
- 16:57Speaker 1: six yarder that I talked about, and they trusted the
- 17:01Speaker 1: Eagles coaching staff trusted their players to make play, to
- 17:04Speaker 1: make plays and make that play in a critical moment
- 17:07Speaker 1: instead of leaning on a running game that was very ineffective,
- 17:10Speaker 1: especially in the second half. Looked like the Vikings found
- 17:13Speaker 1: something where they were able to hone in on it.
- 17:15Speaker 1: And obviously, when you don't have Cam Jurgens in the game,
- 17:18Speaker 1: who's an effective center, a really good center, although this
- 17:21Speaker 1: season he's taken a little bit of a.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Step back, had the back.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Surgery in the offseason, but not having him in there
- 17:28Speaker 1: certainly impacted it. And then you're also asking, you know,
- 17:32Speaker 1: Jordan Mylatta other players to kind of help out to
- 17:36Speaker 1: make life a little bit easier rather than having a
- 17:38Speaker 1: seamless operation. But Landon Dickerson was out there and played
- 17:42Speaker 1: this week. That's expected. Whenever you see Landed on the
- 17:44Speaker 1: injury report, you get the sense that if he's on it,
- 17:47Speaker 1: he'll fight through it.
- 17:47Speaker 2: In play, he was in there and battled. So the
- 17:51Speaker 2: offensive line still working through some things. The running game needs.
- 17:54Speaker 1: To get better, but in a game where they didn't
- 17:57Speaker 1: have that to lean on, the passing game was able
- 17:59Speaker 1: to uplift it, and the defense was able to make
- 18:02Speaker 1: some key plays when they needed to make those plays
- 18:05Speaker 1: early in the game that picked six. You take that away,
- 18:08Speaker 1: it's a whole different game, but plays like that matter,
- 18:11Speaker 1: and Carson Wentz, as a veteran quarterback, made a lot
- 18:14Speaker 1: of egregious decisions early in that game that they weren't
- 18:17Speaker 1: able to dig themselves out of. And the Vikings also
- 18:20Speaker 1: weren't very efficient in the red zone. They were one
- 18:23Speaker 1: for six. They cashed in just one time. They had
- 18:26Speaker 1: a play that looked like it was going to be
- 18:28Speaker 1: a touchdown at Jalen Naylor probably should have been. It
- 18:31Speaker 1: was a tic tac call that was that was on
- 18:33Speaker 1: that Cooper Dejene drive, I believe, and it wasn't to
- 18:36Speaker 1: be and it becomes a thirty four yard field goal.
- 18:38Speaker 1: The play at the end of the game, the TJ. Hockinson.
- 18:42Speaker 1: We talk a lot about the over legislation in the NFL.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You know, some years ago, that's probably a touchdown and
- 18:50Speaker 1: it wasn't, but it was close.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I thought it was close.
- 18:55Speaker 1: But even Mike Pereira on the broadcast said it wasn't
- 18:58Speaker 1: a touchdown, but that was pretty close, and then I
- 19:03Speaker 1: just thought the Eagles did a really good job of
- 19:05Speaker 1: closing the game out and finding a way to put
- 19:08Speaker 1: the team away. The Vikings did everything that they It
- 19:11Speaker 1: didn't seem like the Vikings wanted to win that game.
- 19:13Speaker 1: It didn't seem like the Vikings wanted to take advantage
- 19:16Speaker 1: of There was that Lowell in the first half of
- 19:19Speaker 1: the Eagles offense was sputtering. They weren't able to capitalize
- 19:22Speaker 1: on that, and the Eagles were able to make them pay.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And that's what the that's what those playmakers on the
- 19:28Speaker 1: outside can do. So a lot to take away from
- 19:32Speaker 1: this game, but the Eagles put together a really complete performance.
- 19:36Speaker 1: They need to clean up some of their special teams penalties,
- 19:38Speaker 1: and I mentioned a couple of those blemishes from Jake Elliott.
- 19:42Speaker 1: But even the return game, Will Shipley had a nice
- 19:45Speaker 1: nice game returning kickoffs. There were no muffs and the
- 19:49Speaker 1: thirty seven yard or by Xavier Gibson gave the Eagles
- 19:53Speaker 1: really good field position with just under a minute fifty
- 19:56Speaker 1: to play. Minute maybe it was a minute fifty two,
- 19:58Speaker 1: and every uni complimented each other at different points in
- 20:02Speaker 1: the game.
- 20:03Speaker 2: In fact, I have the numbers here.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Bradon Man three punts for one hundred and forty six
- 20:07Speaker 1: yards long of fifty three, one inside the twenty. Will
- 20:10Speaker 1: Shipley two kick returns for fifty eight yards, have the
- 20:13Speaker 1: long of thirty three.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Xavier Gibson five for one.
- 20:16Speaker 1: To twenty eight average twenty five points six yards per
- 20:19Speaker 1: return had the long of thirty seven. That was his
- 20:22Speaker 1: first game being active after spending the first three weeks
- 20:25Speaker 1: inactive after being claimed off waivers from the Giants.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Who knows they may have something there.
- 20:30Speaker 1: He's he went into the game having returned forty four
- 20:33Speaker 1: kickoffs in his career, and I think he's shown enough
- 20:36Speaker 1: now that maybe the Eagles will lean on Shipley and
- 20:38Speaker 1: Gibson and have that kick return game rectified with Johan
- 20:42Speaker 1: Doddson still returning punts at least for the time being.
- 20:45Speaker 2: But as a return unit.
- 20:47Speaker 1: As a coverage unit, they ultimately need to be better
- 20:51Speaker 1: in avoiding some of these penalties that they've sort of
- 20:53Speaker 1: gotten away from some of the I guess some of
- 20:55Speaker 1: the intricacies of Michael Klay's unit that has made them
- 20:58Speaker 1: so proficient to start the season. They've had the block
- 21:01Speaker 1: field goal that was the touchdown, the block punt in
- 21:04Speaker 1: Tampa that Sydney brown scooped for a touchdown. They've made
- 21:06Speaker 1: some really big plays, but they're now having some untimely penalties.
- 21:10Speaker 1: And when you're a team that isn't necessarily winning with
- 21:14Speaker 1: a comfortable margin, and you have areas of the game
- 21:17Speaker 1: that aren't necessarily firing in all cylinders, you have to
- 21:19Speaker 1: make sure that every unit's doing what they can and
- 21:23Speaker 1: taking care of i should say, mastering the things that
- 21:26Speaker 1: require no talent, as Nick Sirianni likes to say. But
- 21:29Speaker 1: by and large, it was a complete win for the
- 21:31Speaker 1: foot off Eagles.
- 21:32Speaker 2: They're going to learn from that one. They're going to
- 21:34Speaker 2: grow from that one.
- 21:35Speaker 1: And one thing that I made a point of going
- 21:38Speaker 1: into this week is that the.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Temperature check was positive.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It was players looking for a solution, realizing the talent
- 21:47Speaker 1: that they have, knowing that they haven't played to their standard,
- 21:50Speaker 1: and instead of pointing fingers, instead of playing the blame game,
- 21:54Speaker 1: they wanted to get on the same page.
- 21:55Speaker 2: They had the offensive meeting.
- 21:57Speaker 1: They're trying to find an identity and find a way
- 22:00Speaker 1: to head things in the right direction. And whatever that
- 22:03Speaker 1: conversation entailed with the offense, they looked a lot more detailed,
- 22:07Speaker 1: a lot more buttoned up and cohesive than they have
- 22:10Speaker 1: than they had through the first six games. So a
- 22:13Speaker 1: lot to build on from the further foot off Eagles
- 22:16Speaker 1: from their standpoint this week, and we'll be back at
- 22:19Speaker 1: it Tuesday when the coordinators speak at eleven thirty.
- 22:21Speaker 2: We'll hear from Vic Vangio, Michael.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Clay, and Kevin Patulo and kick things off as the
- 22:26Speaker 1: New York Giants, who just beat the Eagles on Thursday
- 22:29Speaker 1: night football, traveled to Lincoln Financial Field before the Eagles
- 22:34Speaker 1: have the highly anticipated bye week where a lot of
- 22:36Speaker 1: their key players can start to get some rest.
- 22:39Speaker 2: For now, this has been to check O daily.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I am Andrew Decheko, and I'll catch you on the
- 22:44Speaker 1: next one.
