- 0:02Speaker 2: It's called cheatah piss.
- 0:04Speaker 3: I honestly, a lot of times piss the weed that
- 0:06Speaker 3: you get at a cannabis fest A lot of times
- 0:08Speaker 3: isn't that great?
- 0:09Speaker 2: But I that's where I got it last time.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Have you had a cheetah piss? George?
- 0:13Speaker 2: You know what?
- 0:14Speaker 1: Unfortunately I have not.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I haven't known that. The name really grabs at you
- 0:18Speaker 2: with the big phone. What's the phone?
- 0:20Speaker 1: There's a pixel nine XL God, God, look at that thing.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Look at that folds. I got it.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I mean it's like big dick energy.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Here. Wait are we recording right now? Yeah?
- 0:32Speaker 3: Yeah, normally we bullshit like this for the first like
- 0:34Speaker 3: fifteen Let me put my headphones on that.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Okay, hey now it's real official. I'm into the conversation
- 0:40Speaker 1: brings everything.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Like how you sound? Should I turn you up? Should
- 0:42Speaker 2: I turn you down? Can you make me sound deeper? Yeah?
- 0:52Speaker 1: But the youngest person on the show.
- 0:56Speaker 4: You could just sit around all night. Yeah exactly, it's
- 1:02Speaker 4: like welcome to Nickelodeon.
- 1:03Speaker 2: What do you even get into it? Last time? Really
- 1:04Speaker 2: about what I can do with this fancy new board here,
- 1:07Speaker 2: But look at this.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And it's cool to be honest with you. What is it?
- 1:09Speaker 3: It is a roadcaster pro to sure I can sound
- 1:12Speaker 3: like a I think it only works with my mic, right.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, not me either, I just sound
- 1:24Speaker 1: friendly naturally.
- 1:27Speaker 4: So do you get a lot of feedback that your
- 1:28Speaker 4: listeners enjoyed this part of the show.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah, for the most part, Okay, most people. Their only
- 1:34Speaker 1: criticism has been that guy in the first episode, Bob.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, wait was that story I told about him?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Was that recorded? No, So this would be a good
- 1:44Speaker 4: introduction to what I do. I guess when we were
- 1:46Speaker 4: first starting our blog, why I value would love this
- 1:48Speaker 4: is like two thousand and seven, two thousand and eight.
- 1:50Speaker 4: The whole thing back in that day was there was
- 1:52Speaker 4: no news alternative. There was Morning Call, Express Times that
- 1:55Speaker 4: was it. Well FMZ of course, and then like a
- 1:57Speaker 4: couple other smaller ones. So we're gonna be like the
- 1:59Speaker 4: anti new So there would be news, we would take
- 2:02Speaker 4: a paragraph or two and then make fun of it
- 2:04Speaker 4: in whatever aspect.
- 2:06Speaker 1: And so we're trying to like, I don't know, we're
- 2:07Speaker 1: looking on the internet.
- 2:08Speaker 4: What if people do there's all these best of the
- 2:10Speaker 4: Lee Valley, you know, So again being.
- 2:12Speaker 1: That young mindset.
- 2:13Speaker 4: We're like, what can we do to flip it on
- 2:15Speaker 4: his head and be funny and at the same time,
- 2:16Speaker 4: so he said, let's do the worst of the Lei Valley. Yeah,
- 2:19Speaker 4: so like what's the worst restaurant? And we did like
- 2:21Speaker 4: a google for I would I gat prepared. I could
- 2:24Speaker 4: find it and maybe I'll send it to you guys.
- 2:25Speaker 4: But he couldn't do it now because it was pretty mean. Yeah,
- 2:29Speaker 4: and there were some restaurants in there that people, you know,
- 2:31Speaker 4: I wouldn't do it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I would not do it now.
- 2:33Speaker 4: But Bob Holder won the Worst the Worst radio talk show.
- 2:39Speaker 2: He must have hated that and he.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Was so good, but like somebody told him, he got
- 2:44Speaker 4: so mad and then they're like you have to come
- 2:46Speaker 4: on the show. Well he didn't even but like would
- 2:48Speaker 4: you call on the show? And he was like, you
- 2:49Speaker 4: got mad at me? And he didn't quite understand that
- 2:52Speaker 4: we did it because we like we actually liked him
- 2:54Speaker 4: and then the whole thing. But so he was really
- 2:56Speaker 4: mad at us for a while, like, how dare you
- 2:59Speaker 4: say that I'm the worst?
- 3:01Speaker 2: And it's like, Bob, no, you don't. You didn't get
- 3:03Speaker 2: the joke. But that was kind of like one.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Of our first fories in and it But to be honest,
- 3:07Speaker 4: it kind of showed. It's like, oh man, like people
- 3:09Speaker 4: will take notice if you put out stuff like this.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Should we should be a little careful.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I don't want to have anybody assume me you really
- 3:15Speaker 3: think that you couldn't do that again if you wanted to.
- 3:17Speaker 4: What do you think about like restaurant reviews right when
- 3:20Speaker 4: you're in New York City, Like you can go and
- 3:21Speaker 4: bash a restaurant because the odds of you going back
- 3:24Speaker 4: there are really slim, Like in the Lehigh Valley something
- 3:26Speaker 4: like that.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Is difficult to do, Like you wouldn't.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Go trash a restaurant like if you live here because
- 3:31Speaker 4: you would never eat there again?
- 3:32Speaker 2: Or is this not a good look? You know, like
- 3:34Speaker 2: maybe they had an off day or something.
- 3:36Speaker 4: I guess my point is I think it's small enough
- 3:38Speaker 4: that I don't know if the worst of unless it
- 3:40Speaker 4: was done like in the right way, would work, Like.
- 3:43Speaker 1: If you did a worst of, like what's the worst road?
- 3:45Speaker 1: Not like what's the worst Italian restaurant in Easton?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yeah, let's start were like punching down.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You know it's not nice for sure?
- 3:53Speaker 2: What is the worst Italian restaurant in Easton. I don't
- 3:55Speaker 2: even know. I can't even think of one Italian restaurant
- 3:57Speaker 2: in So this is a good one.
- 3:59Speaker 4: I was at a bad party last night. It will
- 4:01Speaker 4: show you how riveting it was. We were having a
- 4:02Speaker 4: discussion of the worst Burrows in.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Pennsylvania, the worst ever, because you guys really went hard
- 4:09Speaker 1: on this party.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yeah, we're at the casino.
- 4:12Speaker 1: We're not going to go to the strip club. We're
- 4:13Speaker 1: going to talk about burrows.
- 4:15Speaker 4: And because some of these guys was from Timaqua, right,
- 4:17Speaker 4: which has a reputation of being.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You know, less than Stowar.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Tomack was fine, but it is just like a lot
- 4:23Speaker 4: of these Burrows are like because people get out of
- 4:26Speaker 4: high school, they're like, I never.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Will go back.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Our good friend, George Whacker, the third guest on our
- 4:31Speaker 1: little podcast Blazers. George, tell people who you are, what
- 4:34Speaker 1: you do. Thanks for having me on.
- 4:36Speaker 2: This is great.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I'm happy I'm the third guest to feel Bob Holder.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Was ahead of me though.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah he's been mentioned in the following two which is
- 4:44Speaker 1: he was for him?
- 4:45Speaker 2: You know you like that.
- 4:46Speaker 4: Bob Holder, the two thousand and eight award winner for
- 4:49Speaker 4: the Worst Radio Ship.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I said, but we love to make sure we say
- 4:54Speaker 1: that we love all in good fun.
- 4:57Speaker 2: George, what do you do?
- 4:57Speaker 4: So we I have a company called Leah Valley would
- 4:59Speaker 4: Love and we do you know, social media, digital media.
- 5:03Speaker 4: We also have a podcast I've had for eight years now.
- 5:07Speaker 2: We've both been on that.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Yeah, we guys have been on and I'll tell you what, Georgie,
- 5:10Speaker 3: you were doing podcasts before anybody who's doing podcasts.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I think we're the first podcasts that just didn't stop.
- 5:16Speaker 4: There were other podcasts, and there are other podcasts, but
- 5:18Speaker 4: we were just the one that said I tried to
- 5:20Speaker 4: lean into it and say, is there any sort of
- 5:22Speaker 4: viable business opportunity here? And then once we started to
- 5:25Speaker 4: work that out a little bit, you know, being consistent
- 5:28Speaker 4: is the most important part. It's been a lot of fun.
- 5:30Speaker 2: So we do that.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You know, we do social media for companies.
- 5:33Speaker 4: We do ads and video stuff, a little bit of
- 5:35Speaker 4: droning press releases, you know, things like that, traditional things
- 5:39Speaker 4: that are still necessary. We do a lot of local
- 5:41Speaker 4: stuff and it's a lot of fun. And we're very
- 5:43Speaker 4: lucky here right, local, local, local.
- 5:44Speaker 1: We're fortunate to have a.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Business at all, and the fact that we can continue
- 5:48Speaker 4: to do stuff for Leah Valley is just it blows
- 5:50Speaker 4: my mind.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So we're happy to and it's really cool to witness too.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Over the years, I thought of another person that's not
- 5:56Speaker 2: going to listen to this podcast. We can talk about him.
- 5:57Speaker 2: The last time that George and I.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Are you gonna say the last time the George and
- 6:02Speaker 1: I did an event together. There was a certain individual
- 6:04Speaker 1: that every single time that he said George Wacker's name,
- 6:08Speaker 1: he said it like this.
- 6:09Speaker 2: We're here with.
- 6:10Speaker 4: George Wacker Weed to start the show.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Welcome to it. Press the button?
- 6:19Speaker 2: Which one?
- 6:19Speaker 1: That one right there?
- 6:20Speaker 2: This one? Yep.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Welcome to the Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker and Joel,
- 6:27Speaker 5: the trivia podcast where the questions are high, and so
- 6:31Speaker 5: are they hates. Time to spark your curiosity and line
- 6:35Speaker 5: up some knowledge though. Blazed and Confused podcast starts.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Now, Episode three, Episode three is here. I'm Becker, that's Joel, Hello,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and our guest today, George Wacker. George, you know, I
- 6:52Speaker 1: thought I had a tough name growing up, Becker. I
- 6:55Speaker 1: was called you know, the P word like all the
- 6:57Speaker 1: freaking time. But Whacker?
- 6:58Speaker 2: What Becker? Come on?
- 7:00Speaker 1: I mean, I don't want to bring it up because
- 7:01Speaker 1: I know it's real stupid, probably because I'm puts.
- 7:04Speaker 2: You up in a way because it's like, yeah, early
- 7:07Speaker 2: on it like whacker, that's funny. You're like, is it
- 7:11Speaker 2: you know? Is it after? It's still really funny. It's
- 7:13Speaker 2: like what's your last name? Smith?
- 7:15Speaker 4: That's really yeah, I'm gonna remember that, Paul, like it's boring.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Joe, do you have a nickname or anything? Did you
- 7:22Speaker 1: grow up with a nickname?
- 7:23Speaker 2: Uh? Nothing? That was nice name?
- 7:26Speaker 1: One of the bad ones.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I don't know the village idiot, fucking know what was
- 7:34Speaker 2: my nickname?
- 7:35Speaker 1: Still call you that?
- 7:37Speaker 2: I mean, when your name is Joel, that's short enough.
- 7:39Speaker 2: What are you going to shorten that?
- 7:40Speaker 1: Jay? Yay.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It's weird because no nobody calls me Jay. But sometimes
- 7:45Speaker 3: when I go to like sign off a sign off
- 7:47Speaker 3: is what do you call it?
- 7:48Speaker 1: I don't know the last line of an email. Most
- 7:50Speaker 1: of the time I'll put thanks and then just Jay.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Really I do be with a lot of mind.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Is that weird?
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's a little pretentious, don't you think is it?
- 7:59Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I mean, it's probably not. It's the stupid about I've
- 8:05Speaker 1: been doing it for a long time. I guess it
- 8:07Speaker 1: doesn't be a little critical. Yeah, it's silly anyway. All
- 8:12Speaker 1: right here ready, question number one? You want me to
- 8:18Speaker 1: ask you first? Right, I can go first this time?
- 8:21Speaker 2: If you like, am I answering this?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Or what did you asking each other? I think that UH,
- 8:26Speaker 1: doing some thinking the last week that we should allow
- 8:29Speaker 1: the guests to chime in, maybe make it any competition
- 8:31Speaker 1: between the now, well, the guest has always been here
- 8:35Speaker 1: as far as the trivia portions concerned.
- 8:37Speaker 3: The guest is just here to chime in. However, what
- 8:39Speaker 3: I was thinking is we should make it like who
- 8:41Speaker 3: wants to be a Millionaire?
- 8:44Speaker 1: Where it should be like a lifeline, so that if
- 8:46Speaker 1: you can't answer, you go to the other person.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Okay, we should do I'll.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Just chime in.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Okay, that's fine, all right, but we might come to
- 8:54Speaker 2: you and I know the answer. It might get really excited.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Don't ask chat you pt.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Gonna go offline for okay, Right, you're gonna go first
- 9:02Speaker 1: because you were a little sour about it. You can
- 9:04Speaker 1: fucking all right? Here we go music?
- 9:07Speaker 2: Oh perfect? Yeah?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Which artists became the youngest solo performer to write, produce,
- 9:13Speaker 1: and record a number one single on the Billboard Hot
- 9:16Speaker 1: one hundred. It happened in nineteen ninety.
- 9:20Speaker 2: You're gonna give me choices? No? Oh, come on, I was.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I was told that.
- 9:24Speaker 1: People can tell me like you're given him too many.
- 9:27Speaker 1: That's beating you in all these games. Yeah, read the
- 9:30Speaker 1: question again. Which artist became the youngest solo performer to write, produce,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and record a number one single on a Hillboard Hot
- 9:39Speaker 1: one hundred. It's a female, Okay, it happened in nineteen ninety.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Youngster in nineteen ninety. That's a girl.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I want to say something Mariah Carey, but I don't
- 9:50Speaker 1: think she wrote her own stuff. Dude, great, guess you
- 9:54Speaker 1: got it. Most people, you know, I was at a
- 9:56Speaker 1: party it was Mariah Carey.
- 9:59Speaker 2: But you seriously, but yeah, I was a lot of.
- 10:02Speaker 1: People said Madonna or Denny Gibson or Duel you know
- 10:06Speaker 1: what I mean. But my guest, people think of Mariak.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I see when I hear think of Mariah Carey. I
- 10:11Speaker 1: was Mariah Carey like nineteen ninety three, ninety four, being popular.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but murdered.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I know all this stuff. The song that she won
- 10:18Speaker 1: for was Vision of Love.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Vision of Love song.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Yeah, so good job. Thank you very much.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I'm a good guest. Thank you well done.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I think the reason why that came to mind is
- 10:27Speaker 3: because my dad also was a radio personality back in
- 10:30Speaker 3: the day and floated around from station to station to station.
- 10:33Speaker 3: But he was doing like overnights at a station in
- 10:36Speaker 3: Reading called WYCL, which was adult contemporary at the time,
- 10:40Speaker 3: that was pounding those fucking Mariah Carry songs in the ground.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Yeah. My father always used to say growing up that
- 10:46Speaker 1: this there was this young girl, Mariah Carey, and we
- 10:49Speaker 1: didn't know if it was Mariah or Maria Carrey like,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and there was all these like notes about how to
- 10:53Speaker 1: say her name at the radio station. I was at
- 10:55Speaker 1: a party earlier, Like I said earlier before, I'm just
- 10:58Speaker 1: mixing up my words. Anyway, I was at a party earlier,
- 11:01Speaker 1: and I gave my questions to some people, like I
- 11:04Speaker 1: tested them out, and the one girl asked, all right,
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's a female. Is she still like around? Is she
- 11:09Speaker 1: still doing well? I'm like, she's still around, but is
- 11:12Speaker 1: she doing well? I think she's doing She's kind of
- 11:17Speaker 1: a mess. She's choosing to do that.
- 11:20Speaker 2: We're judging. I'm judging. I'm sorry. Let's go to the
- 11:23Speaker 2: next one.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Question two.
- 11:27Speaker 1: What popular Mexican dish traditionally made with corn tortillas is
- 11:32Speaker 1: named after the Spanish word for little cakes? What popular
- 11:37Speaker 1: Mexican dish traditionally made with corn tortillas is named after
- 11:41Speaker 1: the Spanish word little cakes.
- 11:44Speaker 6: Corn tortillas, and bananas. I feel like that's wrong, corn tortillas.
- 11:53Speaker 6: It's not a fucking taco, is it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It is a taco traditionally served with corn tortillas. You
- 11:59Speaker 1: got it again by wait, wait, wait.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Taco's the right answer questions, it's taco.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Way you did a Mexican food question and the answer
- 12:09Speaker 4: was taco.
- 12:10Speaker 2: That's why I didn't say taco. And it was that easy.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I went to dinner one time with my friend and
- 12:16Speaker 1: his uh, his wife, and she did not like the
- 12:20Speaker 1: way I ordered my tacos. She actually was like offended
- 12:22Speaker 1: and gave me some ship.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Really that's weird, though.
- 12:25Speaker 1: You want to do more about her, I think than
- 12:27Speaker 1: One of my favorite places to get Mexican food in
- 12:29Speaker 1: the Lehigh Valley if you're coming around, is Mexico Lind Sure, yes, anyway,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I ordered them Americanized. Unfortunately I got them with flower tortilla,
- 12:38Speaker 1: with cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. Traditionally they come went
- 12:43Speaker 1: on a corn tortilla with what's that green stuff? The No,
- 12:48Speaker 1: the guacamola. No, the it's like lettuce, but it's not.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It's lettuce, but it's nice. I was looking up because
- 12:57Speaker 1: the lantro.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I bought a roll to.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Frequent real quick.
- 13:02Speaker 4: I got all excited when you said Mexico Lindo, because
- 13:05Speaker 4: I know that they just opened a new place in
- 13:07Speaker 4: East until they have another spot. You've never been. It's
- 13:11Speaker 4: Tell Street And he said sorry. I was like jumping
- 13:13Speaker 4: in three.
- 13:16Speaker 1: H What scale is commonly used to measure the intensity
- 13:22Speaker 1: of tornadoes in the United States?
- 13:26Speaker 6: Fuck?
- 13:27Speaker 1: What scale is commonly used to measure the intensity of
- 13:30Speaker 1: tornadoes in the United States? No, the earthquake one, that's easy.
- 13:34Speaker 2: The first thing that.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Comes to mind is vector scale. Is that you're trying.
- 13:37Speaker 1: You're probably thinking of what's the vector scale?
- 13:40Speaker 4: I think you are thinking rector, the rectum scale rectum,
- 13:44Speaker 4: that's the rectum archeology school.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Anyway, you're wrong. It is the Enhanced Fujiita scale known
- 13:55Speaker 1: as EF. That's what you get too, learned something new
- 14:00Speaker 1: every day, I said, EF. Two tortillas.
- 14:01Speaker 4: Hold on, like, is it Japanese go ahead, as I
- 14:07Speaker 4: was named after the guy who came up with it,
- 14:09Speaker 4: who was Japanese.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Right, very good, very good? Four twenty what.
- 14:16Speaker 1: A little early in the music?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Fine, bitch, I'll.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Do it again.
- 14:19Speaker 2: What twenty?
- 14:22Speaker 1: What we are perfectionists?
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, some of us are.
- 14:27Speaker 1: What was the first widely popular social network to introduce
- 14:30Speaker 1: real time chatting?
- 14:32Speaker 2: Hmmm?
- 14:33Speaker 1: It launched in the late nineteen nineties.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Real time chatting.
- 14:37Speaker 1: The first widely popular social network to introduce real time chatting.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I would say, uh, aol instation, most people would, but
- 14:44Speaker 3: that is wrong.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Wait, wait, don't give the answer I want George.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Is it ICQ?
- 14:48Speaker 4: No?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Is it Microsoft?
- 14:50Speaker 2: MSN?
- 14:51Speaker 1: Messenger?
- 14:51Speaker 2: Sype?
- 14:52Speaker 3: No?
- 14:53Speaker 1: What Whatpe? Skype was like eight years ago?
- 14:56Speaker 2: What?
- 14:57Speaker 1: What did Skype come out? Skype?
- 14:58Speaker 2: Just what? Bankrupt?
- 15:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 15:00Speaker 2: They're gone now right, they're done.
- 15:02Speaker 1: When did they come out?
- 15:03Speaker 2: Though? The long time ago? I mean in the early
- 15:06Speaker 2: two thousands at least.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Jeez. Anyway, these are all wrong.
- 15:09Speaker 2: What is it? Six degrees dot com? You know what?
- 15:12Speaker 2: It's not even on my radar. I've never heard of it.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I guess I'm not up on my social media history.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Disappointed in both of you guys. Sorry, you did pretty
- 15:22Speaker 1: well for the most part, but you guessed and it

- 15:32Speaker 3: listen to these. We have these made you guys?
- 15:34Speaker 1: Remember when you couldn't buy liquor on Sundays?
- 15:37Speaker 2: I think, man, when.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Did that change?
- 15:39Speaker 4: Well, in Pennsylvania at least, right the liquor stores would
- 15:42Speaker 4: be closed, aren't they closed?
- 15:43Speaker 2: I mean I haven't bought liquor in you know.
- 15:44Speaker 3: When I used to work at the Brass Rail, they
- 15:46Speaker 3: used to serve a Sunday breakfast, and I do remember
- 15:48Speaker 3: when I was in high school working there that there
- 15:50Speaker 3: was some weird rule that on Sundays the bar couldn't
- 15:53Speaker 3: open until a certain time. I think it was like
- 15:56Speaker 3: noon or something like, they couldn't serve alcohol until noon
- 15:58Speaker 3: on a Sunday something some weird church let out.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:02Speaker 7: Really trivia, man, it's like the universe asking us questions,
- 16:07Speaker 7: you know, Yeah, confused podcast?
- 16:13Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna ask you some real fucking questions.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Here's we're stupid this week. We're stupid. There, you didn't
- 16:21Speaker 1: get it right, You did get it right?
- 16:26Speaker 2: What Mexican? I don't know? Taco?
- 16:29Speaker 1: Question number one, okay, so statistics.
- 16:34Speaker 2: What's the top selling toothpaste brand in America? This is
- 16:37Speaker 2: a real question.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Which toothpaste your first time? And I'm doing a three
- 16:41Speaker 1: D white now?
- 16:42Speaker 2: So which is made by who? Crests?
- 16:46Speaker 3: Very good?
- 16:47Speaker 2: The first question I ever got right? So fuck holy ship.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I feel pretty good about myself. How do you guys
- 16:54Speaker 1: feel about your toothpaste brand? Right now?
- 16:57Speaker 3: I don't even know what pleased with you. I think
- 16:59Speaker 3: I used Resh, I think I used Crush. You know,
- 17:02Speaker 3: I will say though I did that.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I saw a TikTok a while back about the charcoal
- 17:06Speaker 1: that you could bind to brush your teeth with, And
- 17:09Speaker 1: now there's a lot of toothpaste now like regular regular,
- 17:12Speaker 1: Crush makes a toothpaste that's like activated charcoal.
- 17:15Speaker 2: You've never read this.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Better advertise with us the Blazes to Confused podcast sponsored
- 17:21Speaker 1: by Crush. Let's do a cress give us a call.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be good?
- 17:25Speaker 5: Question two?
- 17:27Speaker 3: All right, what's the capital of the only US state
- 17:32Speaker 3: that's made up entirely of islands?
- 17:34Speaker 1: So the capital of Hawaiian Oh my god, Honolulu? Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 1: were you like as alascal An island in my head
- 17:49Speaker 1: pretty much.
- 17:50Speaker 2: You fucked up that question last week. That was one
- 17:53Speaker 2: of the questions last week.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Here, I scored that question last week.
- 17:56Speaker 2: No, no, no, no no. I asked you a similar question
- 17:58Speaker 2: last week.
- 17:58Speaker 1: The question last week was what US state is farthest
- 18:02Speaker 1: west Alaska?
- 18:03Speaker 2: Alaska? That's the correct thing, he answered to a.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Bunch of them.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's just weird and it.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Doesn't look as big on a map, so you forget
- 18:10Speaker 4: how big it is.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And some people can see Russia from their house. Oh yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 1: that's a that's a fifteen year reference.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Sarah Palin. Dude, I was in the fourth grade when
- 18:20Speaker 2: she came to remember her.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I remember Nail and Palin.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Here.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Here's a quick quick piece of trivia for you. That
- 18:27Speaker 4: actress is from eastern Pennsylvania.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I know what's her name? No, Lisa Ann.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Yeah, Wait a second, Lisa and the porn star played
- 18:37Speaker 3: Sarah Palin. Yeah on Saturday Night Live.
- 18:41Speaker 1: No, that's in a pornographic movie called Nail in Palin.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Whoa You mean to tell me that Lisa and the
- 18:50Speaker 1: porn stars from Easton?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Yes? What? Okay?
- 18:53Speaker 1: So I obviously remember who Lisa Ann is, but I
- 18:57Speaker 1: do not remember the Nail and Palin thing, but I
- 18:59Speaker 1: rememb what she looks like, and now that I think
- 19:01Speaker 1: about it, she definitely does resemble Sarah Palin and I'll
- 19:05Speaker 1: never forget the name of that video. Animal is SuperFect.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Three?
- 19:12Speaker 1: All right, I'm doing great? Right now?
- 19:15Speaker 2: Did you get these?
- 19:15Speaker 4: This is?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Although I thought we were on question for but I'll
- 19:18Speaker 1: go with three.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Wait what?
- 19:19Speaker 5: No?
- 19:20Speaker 2: No? Well? Three?
- 19:21Speaker 1: No?
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah, three.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I've been partying since one o'clock.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I asked you about it's geography and stats.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Now I'm gonna go to the question You're definitely
- 19:30Speaker 2: gonna get wrong. It's the lyric challenge?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Do you want to hit the thing?
- 19:33Speaker 5: Oh?
- 19:33Speaker 1: Never mind, go ahead. She's got a smile that it
- 19:36Speaker 1: seems to me gotta smile, and it seems to me.
- 19:40Speaker 2: It minds me of childhood memories. Yeah, where everything.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Was right, child of mind, guns and roses.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Okay, man, what's you get? What's the official title of
- 19:50Speaker 2: the song?
- 19:51Speaker 1: Sweet Child? O mine? Oh mine? It's not of mine?
- 19:54Speaker 2: Yeah? All right? You he tries to get me onease,
- 19:58Speaker 2: I'm killing He normally gets them wrong. Boom, okay, fine,
- 20:03Speaker 2: Question f twenty what alright? TV?
- 20:08Speaker 3: Characters. I give you four names, and you tell me
- 20:12Speaker 3: what the show is.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Meadow a j.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Carmela, the Buffy, Buffy the Vampire. Now hold on, Tony, Tony,
- 20:24Speaker 1: what you say Buffy?
- 20:28Speaker 2: Oh? The Sopranos.
- 20:30Speaker 3: The Sopranos very good. I am still shocked that Lisa
- 20:33Speaker 3: and is from Easton. Yes, what are you sniffing over there?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Those are the best freaking things ever.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Boomsticks, boom boom sticks? Is it menthol?
- 20:43Speaker 1: It's not meno, It's just a nasal stick?
- 20:47Speaker 2: And help me quit vaping?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Oh good?
- 20:49Speaker 3: So it's this piece of plastic that I hold up
- 20:51Speaker 3: to my nose and go. And this one smells like tropical.
- 20:54Speaker 1: It's like vixed vapor rub.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Do you know that?
- 20:56Speaker 1: I saw someone do cocaine on the street corner yesterday
- 20:59Speaker 1: on south side a stoplight and I looked over and
- 21:04Speaker 1: this guy taking his little jar around. He scooped it
- 21:06Speaker 1: out and just put it by cctown Town. Whatever is
- 21:10Speaker 1: it cc Towntown or Seatowntown?
- 21:13Speaker 2: I think it's just seatown cc Towntown. Really see their
- 21:20Speaker 2: logo really throws me off.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Apparently they are banging mpanadas though, Well, yeah, I will
- 21:26Speaker 1: see Seatown.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I love how you saw me with my nasal stick,
- 21:30Speaker 3: and the first thing he thought of is, yeah, I'm
- 21:31Speaker 3: gonna bring up that I saw somebody do cocaine by
- 21:34Speaker 3: the c C Towntown.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yes, Towntown. I'm just doing my best boy. So today, right,
- 21:42Speaker 1: I go to the laundromat. This woman next to me,
- 21:44Speaker 1: she's getting chatty. I had my air pods in and
- 21:46Speaker 1: she kept interrupting me, but she was nice enough whatever. Right,
- 21:49Speaker 1: Usually I go there and there's not a lot of
- 21:50Speaker 1: people there, and I'll listen to music and just kind
- 21:52Speaker 1: of dance around, like kind of like walk around and
- 21:54Speaker 1: wander around because it's usually dead. So she's talking to
- 21:56Speaker 1: me and she taps on my shoulder because I couldn't hear,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and she goes, hey, you could put a body in here.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And I said what, And she goes, you could fit
- 22:04Speaker 1: a body in here, and I go huh. And then
- 22:07Speaker 1: it reminded me of something that happened back in November
- 22:10Speaker 1: December at the laundromat no one was there. Went later
- 22:14Speaker 1: at night and all of a sudden, these cops come
- 22:16Speaker 1: rushing in and I freak out right, And then they
- 22:20Speaker 1: go over to one of the dryers and they open
- 22:22Speaker 1: up the bottom one and there was a guy in there.
- 22:25Speaker 1: The entire time I was like dancing around this laundromat,
- 22:29Speaker 1: there was a guy in there. Somebody must have called. Yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 1: I swear of got in the story of what the
- 22:35Speaker 1: lady said to you today. What a weird fucking thing
- 22:38Speaker 1: to say to somebody. Though you can fit a body
- 22:41Speaker 1: in here.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I'd be like, excuse me, welcome to spark a debate
- 22:46Speaker 5: where Becker and Joel turn one topic. You're doing all
- 22:49Speaker 5: out puff puff, pass off and see who burns out first.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Why don't we just debate stupid shit like what a
- 22:58Speaker 1: flavor of the reader is better.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Cheese? Well, you debate.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Pots or yakos and give actual reason. Okay, last I'm sorry,
- 23:10Speaker 4: I didn't know. We still want to talk about it.
- 23:12Speaker 4: We touched on it last time. We didn't actually get
- 23:14Speaker 4: it because people, when people talk about it, it's a
- 23:16Speaker 4: very surface level. You know, people don't go and talk
- 23:19Speaker 4: about really.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Why I think that I like yacos better because the
- 23:23Speaker 3: dog is a little bit more well done.
- 23:26Speaker 1: That's why I don't like it. They definitely have a
- 23:28Speaker 1: shriveled dog.
- 23:28Speaker 2: That's what I was exactly.
- 23:30Speaker 4: And if you're not in the shrivelled dogs you don't
- 23:32Speaker 4: like Yakos exactly.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah, now Pots, I think Pots of Chili is better
- 23:37Speaker 1: than Yakos.
- 23:38Speaker 4: I like how they put the cheese on the bottom,
- 23:40Speaker 4: me too, and like it's it's conveniently there and it's
- 23:43Speaker 4: a little bit of a surprise.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I got a second. I thought we were debating hot
- 23:46Speaker 2: layers chili. There's Karen who gives a ship about their chili.
- 23:50Speaker 4: We're talking about hot dogs part of the sandwich.
- 23:53Speaker 1: So you're saying if you're you're just having a plain
- 23:55Speaker 1: hot dog nothing on.
- 23:56Speaker 3: It, Well, I mean I get the Yacos hot dog
- 23:58Speaker 3: with everything on it that we're talking about.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Like, like, is that you're talking about the song?
- 24:04Speaker 3: Oh I thought you were talking about like chili, like
- 24:05Speaker 3: cap of chili from No, No, no, that chili cheese dog.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Okay, sorry, the onions are just objectively better Pots in
- 24:15Speaker 4: my opinion, little details that Yakos are just gonna throw
- 24:19Speaker 4: some dark or what I hot dog at you? What
- 24:23Speaker 4: I ever turned down a Yacko's Absolutely not. I feel
- 24:27Speaker 4: there's options at Yakos too.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Well.
- 24:28Speaker 4: I feel like blessed that we have so many hot
- 24:31Speaker 4: dog options. Try a yach Yako's burger if you haven't.
- 24:35Speaker 2: It's so good and it's.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Way better than you think it should be.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Their cheese steaks too, all great, but.
- 24:43Speaker 4: I was like, what the heck? How have I never
- 24:45Speaker 4: had a Yacko's burger?
- 24:46Speaker 1: And it's way better than.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Should have been.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Their cheese steak is like the size of an iPhone.
- 24:50Speaker 1: It's not very big, but it's got a bunch of bean.
- 24:52Speaker 1: It's pretty good.
- 24:52Speaker 2: It's good to slap them together.
- 24:54Speaker 1: So the obvious winner is Pots, right.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I think we want Pots. I just in terms of taste.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I just feel like it.
- 25:00Speaker 4: But then there's people it's fine, they'll die on the
- 25:02Speaker 4: hill of like Jimmy's.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Do you guys remember the Yakos jingle? Like the song?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I worked in radio for twenty years. Okay, obviously
- 25:11Speaker 1: I know every jingle.
- 25:12Speaker 2: So listen to this. Listen to this. So I go
- 25:13Speaker 2: with my neighbor a couple of months ago.
- 25:15Speaker 1: The secret Sauce is one of them. Yes, yes, I
- 25:18Speaker 1: text him. I'm like, let's go get Yakoil team Pots ahead. Perfect,
- 25:21Speaker 1: We get in the car, we go down there. We're
- 25:23Speaker 1: feeling good.
- 25:23Speaker 3: We may or may not have partaken in the Wacky
- 25:26Speaker 3: Tobacci at some point that day.
- 25:28Speaker 2: So I get there, we're waiting in line. I'm like,
- 25:30Speaker 2: oh my god, Yakos. It's just it's so good. And
- 25:34Speaker 2: then we finally get up there and I start singing
- 25:36Speaker 2: to the guy.
- 25:36Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm gonna get Yakot And this kid was like,
- 25:42Speaker 3: what the fuck are you singing? And I'm like, I
- 25:44Speaker 3: got a second. You work at Yako's. You've never heard
- 25:46Speaker 3: the yak training manual. I have no idea.
- 25:50Speaker 2: He had no idea. He never heard the Yakos jingle. Ever,
- 25:52Speaker 2: when you go in there.
- 25:53Speaker 4: They should they be like sit you down in a
- 25:55Speaker 4: room and you have to watch all the uh literally
- 25:58Speaker 4: get Yako my friend. Do you know Matt Mulcheney from
- 26:02Speaker 4: Shard's recording studio, He's looking to like reduce some of
- 26:05Speaker 4: these old jingles, like re record.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Them in a fun way, like to give away, not
- 26:10Speaker 2: to make money on.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we should write a jingle for this show, right,
- 26:14Speaker 1: let's go?
- 26:16Speaker 2: Who wrote this?
- 26:21Speaker 4: Day?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Branch Fries.
- 26:25Speaker 2: No goat go is one of the times and Alan tradition.
- 26:34Speaker 1: George Wacker, do you remember the Islands jingle? A lot
- 26:37Speaker 1: of these we can't use really, but why not?
- 26:39Speaker 2: Do you have the dentist down the lane, the dentist.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Down the lane, somebody somebody.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Tower Chevrolet, by the way, low prices every shot. Tower Chevrolet,
- 26:50Speaker 1: my favorite used.
- 26:51Speaker 3: To be the one car dealer that used the Tina
- 26:54Speaker 3: Turner song, and it was definitely copyrighted because the commercially
- 26:58Speaker 3: which one was that you were?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Remember, I can't say who it was, but I know
- 27:02Speaker 2: who it is. Okay, Yeah, they were like, we're simply
- 27:06Speaker 2: My god, I didn't believe it was that. No way
- 27:11Speaker 2: to play the part?
- 27:12Speaker 3: Many should we talk about? There's anything else to talk about?
- 27:17Speaker 3: I feel I feel not prepared for this. Oh, here's
- 27:20Speaker 3: what we can talk about. You know, Kermit turned freaking
- 27:22Speaker 3: seventy years old. Kermit drog Ye. Can you do a
- 27:27Speaker 3: good Kermit?
- 27:27Speaker 1: Anybody can Doromit brog here.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I'm frog here. I'm gonna go home and fuck miss Piggy.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Oh my god, you remember the song?
- 27:36Speaker 3: But nomena, Dude, we listened to that at home.
- 27:42Speaker 1: But once a while it comes so good.
- 27:48Speaker 7: Dude.
- 27:49Speaker 2: You know what, when he goes.
- 27:56Speaker 4: In my top three vinyls, it would be the Muppets Christmas.
- 28:03Speaker 2: All right. Here's the thing, though, George Wacker, we got
- 28:05Speaker 2: to talk about this. I hate the term vinyls because
- 28:09Speaker 2: it's they're not vinyl.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You're such a vinyl snob. You yl. No, no, no, no, no,
- 28:14Speaker 1: they're called records. Vinyl is what they're made out of.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It's the material that the record is made out of.
- 28:21Speaker 1: So colloquially, you know what I mean. But when I
- 28:24Speaker 1: say the word but I hate the spell colloquial, colloquial,
- 28:27Speaker 1: I know what that is.
- 28:29Speaker 2: What is that colloquial?
- 28:30Speaker 1: I can say?
- 28:31Speaker 4: Now I have to say, like colloquially, they're colloquially it
- 28:35Speaker 4: is vinyl, so technically vinyls.
- 28:38Speaker 2: No, that sounds weird.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I guess. I don't know.
- 28:42Speaker 2: You can't let things like this bother you. It doesn't
- 28:44Speaker 2: bother me. I'm just.
- 28:47Speaker 1: These kinds of things.
- 28:49Speaker 2: However, it is good.
- 28:50Speaker 4: To look at language and meaning. Otherwise we have nothing.
- 28:54Speaker 1: So yes, I get it. See now you're going to
- 28:56Speaker 1: notice this though. Now you're going to notice this when
- 28:58Speaker 1: you're friends, when you're out and about and they say,
- 29:00Speaker 1: you're going to be like.
- 29:01Speaker 4: I'll give I will give COVID one thing. I've always
- 29:04Speaker 4: been a record guy. I'll give COVID one thing. It
- 29:08Speaker 4: accelerated that, and you wouldn't maybe think that it would have,
- 29:11Speaker 4: but accelerated it to a degree of not as crazy
- 29:14Speaker 4: as you are.
- 29:15Speaker 1: But I've got a decent collection.
- 29:16Speaker 4: And then I'm like seeking out, Like a new album
- 29:19Speaker 4: came out by the Viagra Boys. I have two versions
- 29:23Speaker 4: because now I'm like, this is my listening version and
- 29:25Speaker 4: like my chill that version, and my daughter, like you
- 29:27Speaker 4: could give her a record, she could figure all that out.
- 29:30Speaker 2: And she's eight years old. How cool is that? Right?
- 29:32Speaker 1: But she knows it and she likes it. She has
- 29:33Speaker 1: all the Billie Eilish records.
- 29:34Speaker 4: If not for COVID, where we were kind of forced
- 29:37Speaker 4: to maybe do more of that than we would have,
- 29:39Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 29:40Speaker 2: If we'd be as into it.
- 29:41Speaker 4: Yeah, now we are like buying new records at the
- 29:44Speaker 4: Compackist Center in Bethlehem.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Becker.
- 29:46Speaker 3: You have vinyls too, right, See it just sounds weird,
- 29:48Speaker 3: It just sounds fucked up.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I wouldn't say vinyls. I would say vinyl. You've got vinyl.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I never would.
- 29:53Speaker 1: There's nothing else I.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Refer to as vinyl either, So it's like that's it.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Records anyway. You have records too, right, I've got a
- 29:59Speaker 2: couple records. Yeah, you have a turntable.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I do you know how I notoriously despise grocery stores.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you know that. I hate grocery stores. I do.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Who wants to fucking walk around the grocery store and
- 30:10Speaker 1: pick out jewel? Could not leave this place. It would
- 30:13Speaker 1: be fine, It would be great.
- 30:15Speaker 4: You know.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I mean technically, besides the gate, you could just have
- 30:18Speaker 1: the uber guy. Yeah, they do.
- 30:20Speaker 2: You mean like like door door, I mean meals on wheels,
- 30:25Speaker 2: meals on wheels.
- 30:26Speaker 1: No, eventually, eventually you're going to change eventually a delivering
- 30:32Speaker 1: I feel like you're a meals on wheels kind of guy.
- 30:36Speaker 3: So when it comes to getting the groceries, yes, I've
- 30:39Speaker 3: done an instacart before a few times, which is when
- 30:41Speaker 3: you pay somebody to actually go and walk up and
- 30:44Speaker 3: down the aisles and shop for you and pick.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Out Have you done that right?
- 30:49Speaker 1: What we did it? I don't have people shopping for
- 30:53Speaker 1: me kind of money. Yeah, it was just I used
- 30:55Speaker 1: it once or twice, but yeah, not often.
- 30:57Speaker 2: So I had to stop doing that. But I still
- 31:00Speaker 2: refuse to go in a fucking grocery store. I just
- 31:02Speaker 2: hate it. It's awful.
- 31:03Speaker 3: It takes too much time, and the other thing you
- 31:05Speaker 3: always like see somebody that you knows, but then you
- 31:08Speaker 3: got to stand there and talk with them. It's like,
- 31:12Speaker 3: so I'll tell you what I do now, what I've
- 31:13Speaker 3: done for the longest time now, is that I use
- 31:15Speaker 3: like the Giant Direct and I order all my groceries
- 31:19Speaker 3: on the app, and then somebody goes and they shop
- 31:21Speaker 3: for you, and then then you pull up. You pick
- 31:24Speaker 3: an hour timeframe. So like the other day, I picked
- 31:26Speaker 3: between five and six. You roll down there, you call
- 31:29Speaker 3: the number on the little plate in the parking spot
- 31:31Speaker 3: you pull up to, and they bring your shit out.
- 31:33Speaker 3: It's great, and you only pay two dollars and ninety
- 31:36Speaker 3: nine cents or something to have somebody else pack your groceries.
- 31:38Speaker 2: It's fantastic. It's a great invention.
- 31:40Speaker 3: However, it screwed me for the first time the other day,
- 31:43Speaker 3: and it screwed me hard. So I was supposed to
- 31:46Speaker 3: go my groceries on Monday. I picked between five and six.
- 31:49Speaker 3: I roll down there at five point fifty, I call
- 31:52Speaker 3: the number. I say, hey, I'm Joel, I'm here in
- 31:54Speaker 3: spot one. She goes, okay, yeah, just give me give
- 31:57Speaker 3: me a few minutes and I'll bring it out. I'm
- 31:59Speaker 3: like okay, great, So five point fifty I told you
- 32:01Speaker 3: I get there right, Yeah, it's like six'. Ten i'm
- 32:04Speaker 3: still sitting there. Right where the fuck? Issue what are they?
- 32:07Speaker 1: DOING i don't know the whole but the ball but
- 32:10Speaker 1: the whole idea of, this, though is that you're supposed
- 32:14Speaker 1: to be able to pick up your groceries between five and.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Six they were done shopping with your order about three,
- 32:19Speaker 1: o'clock because you can add stuff to your order all day.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Long So i'm, Thinking, god this is taken? Forever what
- 32:25Speaker 2: the fuck? Like what is taken so? Long so, finally
