- 0:02Speaker 1: I am your host, Michael Parsons. In this episode is
- 0:05Speaker 1: sponsored by Nationwide for your insurance and financial needs. Nationwide
- 0:09Speaker 1: is on your side. Woo Cowboys nation What a ride
- 0:16Speaker 1: it has been, What a ride. It's been an absolute pleasure,
- 0:20Speaker 1: been a part of this journey with you guys through
- 0:23Speaker 1: all the trials and tribulations, diversity, and to where we
- 0:28Speaker 1: are to be able to stand and say we made
- 0:30Speaker 1: it to a new year and seven months will be
- 0:32Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five and I'm super excited. But let's
- 0:37Speaker 1: just end this software. Y'all know what it was, Commanders, Cowboys.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I thought Trey Lance played a really, really good game.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I really did. He definitely took advantage of his opportunity,
- 0:50Speaker 1: made some really good passes, you know, kept the ball
- 0:53Speaker 1: alive and you know then turn the ball over and
- 0:57Speaker 1: gave us a good shot to win the game. I'm
- 0:59Speaker 1: sorry we had a chance to win the game, and
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'll let you down, Trey, and I apologize anytime we
- 1:04Speaker 1: got a chance to win the game, obviously you want
- 1:05Speaker 1: to go out there and win it. So I apologize
- 1:09Speaker 1: to Trey because you played a good enough game for
- 1:13Speaker 1: us to be able to win, and we appreciate you
- 1:15Speaker 1: putting your you know, putting everything out there and showing
- 1:18Speaker 1: that you had something to prove. And that's the god
- 1:21Speaker 1: honest truth. You really showed something in that game. The fight,
- 1:25Speaker 1: the grid, the determination, your work ethic, everything you've been
- 1:29Speaker 1: putting out for us, all your on scout team.
- 1:32Speaker 2: It just really showed off. So you know, we appreciate you.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And you know, obviously I'm blessed and highly favorite. And
- 1:41Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, man, I really couldn't have
- 1:44Speaker 1: done it without God. Tied for the most sex in
- 1:48Speaker 1: the NFC this season with twelve, but you know, just
- 1:52Speaker 1: being up there with Reggie. Man, I'm really telling you
- 1:56Speaker 1: this was all God because how the season start and
- 2:00Speaker 1: then especially with the injury. You know, I didn't know
- 2:04Speaker 1: I was gonna be missing four games.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I was trying to get back out there for the
- 2:08Speaker 1: Detroit game. You know, they kind of helped me understand that.
- 2:11Speaker 1: You know, I was gonna miss the Steelers game. It
- 2:14Speaker 1: was like, there's no way you could. You're gonna play
- 2:15Speaker 1: that game. But I'm like, man, can't get back for Detroit,
- 2:17Speaker 1: can't get back for forty nine ers after the buye
- 2:21Speaker 1: and just saying what my ankle is at and it's
- 2:22Speaker 1: just like, nah, we're not ready. We're not gonna let
- 2:24Speaker 1: you go out there and re hurt yourself. And understanding that,
- 2:28Speaker 1: you know, I did want to achieve ten plus sacks.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I did want to be a you know, all time
- 2:33Speaker 1: great and to just have God on my side keeping
- 2:37Speaker 1: me in it and pushing me through the injuries and
- 2:41Speaker 1: helping me recover and just being courageous at that.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I just man, I just give them all the credit
- 2:46Speaker 1: in the world because I couldn't done without them. I
- 2:49Speaker 1: was tested and now I have a testimony to tell people.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You know, Uh, sometimes things happen that you can't control,
- 2:56Speaker 1: but how you attack it and how you you know,
- 2:59Speaker 1: accept that attack and where you go from there, that
- 3:02Speaker 1: determines where you're gonna be at. So yeah, I achieved that,
- 3:05Speaker 1: but I couldn't done it without God and my teammates Man.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Shout out to os Chauncey, uh t week Low's LJ
- 3:14Speaker 1: And there's plenty of other guys out there, but my
- 3:16Speaker 1: teammates man pushing me every day. Shout out to my dbs,
- 3:19Speaker 1: just them checking in on me, keeping me in it,
- 3:22Speaker 1: keeping me saying you're gonna be back, don't worry, we
- 3:25Speaker 1: got you. Just those words every day of just true
- 3:28Speaker 1: teammates really helped me, you know, carry it away. So
- 3:31Speaker 1: you know, my teammates don't get a lot of praise,
- 3:33Speaker 1: but you know, I'm gonna get this moment to, you know,
- 3:35Speaker 1: shout them out for everything they've done for me. Those
- 3:39Speaker 1: really my guys, especially chose Chauncey and Ohs being that
- 3:43Speaker 1: twenty one class. I feel like the impact we made
- 3:45Speaker 1: on the Dallas Cowboys gonna be remembered forever.
- 3:49Speaker 2: And I can't say, you know.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I'm happy to be just drafted with you guys and
- 3:52Speaker 1: be a part of this journey for four years.
- 3:54Speaker 2: And if we back next.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Year, you know, if Uncle Jay cuts them checks, we back,
- 4:00Speaker 1: hey man, we blessed, bro.
- 4:01Speaker 2: We're gonna run it back and get us a bowl.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And if not, Bro, y'all know what it is all love,
- 4:06Speaker 1: And you know, I hope y'all get the uh what
- 4:08Speaker 1: I deserve in your careers and things like that.
- 4:12Speaker 2: But you know what it symbolizes is I.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Just want to think, you know, especially because all my
- 4:18Speaker 1: coaches out there who coached me hard and This goes
- 4:22Speaker 1: back to high school. You know, Coach Lynn, Coach Ben,
- 4:28Speaker 1: I know, I ain't really talk to you in a minute.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'll probably hit you all up. Sometimes it's all season,
- 4:33Speaker 1: you know. Even from there, Coach Kyle, coach Juwan Man,
- 4:40Speaker 1: and even at college coach Prior and coach spence Man.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Just those six people had such a significant and even
- 4:46Speaker 1: coach Franklin. Sixty seven people had such a significant impact
- 4:49Speaker 1: in my life and how I should be coached and
- 4:52Speaker 1: what the standard it should be, and how I had to.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Accept elite talent with elite coaching.
- 4:58Speaker 1: You know, they really bring the best out of me
- 5:00Speaker 1: and my competitiveness every day and challenged me and dared
- 5:04Speaker 1: me to be great. I never forget after my first
- 5:07Speaker 1: spring ball with Penn State and Coach Franklin brung me
- 5:14Speaker 1: in or it was after my first camp. Coach Franklin
- 5:16Speaker 1: brung my mom and he was like, Hey, I really
- 5:18Speaker 1: want your mom to come up, you know, and he
- 5:21Speaker 1: sat down that couch and he told me it was
- 5:23Speaker 1: like Micah. He was like, in three years, you'll be
- 5:25Speaker 1: a first round pick, and you'll be one of the
- 5:28Speaker 1: greatest players to leave here, and you'll be one of
- 5:32Speaker 1: the greatest players in the NFL. And this was my
- 5:35Speaker 1: freshman year after a spring camp. I wasn't even a starter,
- 5:38Speaker 1: you know, and just that belief that he had in
- 5:42Speaker 1: me and everything that he instilled in me in them
- 5:43Speaker 1: three years really been the light and it carries over
- 5:46Speaker 1: to the NFL. So, you know, for all those young athletes,
- 5:49Speaker 1: man like, when it comes to coaches who really care
- 5:52Speaker 1: about you and want to push the best out of you,
- 5:55Speaker 1: accept those challenges of daring to be great, because your
- 5:58Speaker 1: coaching will be different. You know, even when I got
- 6:01Speaker 1: to the pros, I was coached different by Dan. I
- 6:05Speaker 1: was challenged different, and I didn't understand it. You know,
- 6:08Speaker 1: when I was younger why I was treatedly different. But
- 6:11Speaker 1: as I've reached the level of success that I've had
- 6:14Speaker 1: in my career, I see to understand why I was
- 6:17Speaker 1: coaching challenge different. When you want to do things that
- 6:20Speaker 1: haven't been done, and when you want to join the
- 6:22Speaker 1: elite company of players that are the world's best have
- 6:26Speaker 1: ever challenged this game, it comes with different coaching, It
- 6:29Speaker 1: comes with different obligations.
- 6:31Speaker 2: So those are the type of people that I appreciate.
- 6:35Speaker 1: That, you know, I tell people all the time, I've
- 6:38Speaker 1: been blessed with some great people in my life. So
- 6:40Speaker 1: those are the type of people that deserve shoutouts. And
- 6:42Speaker 1: I appreciate them because you know, from where I'm at now,
- 6:46Speaker 1: where I want to finish. We're not done yet. We're
- 6:48Speaker 1: still hungry. We still want to do so much more.
- 6:51Speaker 1: We want to change the game in the football. We
- 6:53Speaker 1: want to change how it's played. I see there's so
- 6:55Speaker 1: many linebackers out there that's doing so much more now.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And I see these college guys and eleven, and I
- 7:01Speaker 1: see the impact they're making and it's just so special
- 7:04Speaker 1: to see. And you know, when it's all sudden done.
- 7:07Speaker 1: When I think about legacy, it's about impact and how
- 7:10Speaker 1: Cae you change the game of football, howckey you change
- 7:12Speaker 1: how it's coached. How can you appreciate this game? Because
- 7:15Speaker 1: this is the game that we love and it just
- 7:18Speaker 1: starts right there.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Man. So we're not done yet.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm not satisfied because I just seen Mike Evans go
- 7:25Speaker 1: a thousand yard seasons eleven years in a row. So
- 7:28Speaker 1: I have to have eleven straight ten sax seasons in
- 7:32Speaker 1: a row. I don't know if it's ever been done,
- 7:34Speaker 1: but that is what greatness is.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Jerry Rice.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Greatness is consistency, and you appreciate that greatness. I appreciate
- 7:43Speaker 1: the challenges that I see of those great players because
- 7:46Speaker 1: those are the things that we want to reach one day.
- 7:48Speaker 1: So we're not done yet. We gotta be consistent. We
- 7:52Speaker 1: gotta you know, attack this all season, and we gotta
- 7:55Speaker 1: do it again, you know, because if we don't do
- 7:57Speaker 1: it again, then what are we? You know, we can't
- 7:59Speaker 1: just do it one time, too times, three times, four times.
- 8:02Speaker 1: We gotta keep raising the bar and keep going. So
- 8:04Speaker 1: I'm excited for that feat, and you know, I can't wait,
- 8:09Speaker 1: you know. And how I would describe the season would
- 8:12Speaker 1: go is I would say it's a state of I
- 8:16Speaker 1: would say out of your best players, you know, I
- 8:20Speaker 1: would say triumph, you know, because we had every reason
- 8:23Speaker 1: to give up. We have every reason not toa care
- 8:27Speaker 1: possibly tank, but we had all these guys say no,
- 8:31Speaker 1: we're gonna fight, we're gonna claw, we're gonna make every
- 8:33Speaker 1: team that comes in here earn it. And when we
- 8:35Speaker 1: show up, we're gonna make teams earn it. And so
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'll just say triumph because we came, we came, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: overcame so much, and I just couldn't be more proud
- 8:43Speaker 1: of the team that I was with this year. When
- 8:45Speaker 1: it came to us, all of us come together, we
- 8:47Speaker 1: put all the characters aside, all the personality, and say,
- 8:51Speaker 1: let's just go out there and win. Let's just be us,
- 8:53Speaker 1: and it really shows. So I'm so appreciative for the
- 8:57Speaker 1: people that kept believing because we're not done yet. We
- 9:00Speaker 1: are not done yet, and I hope that y'all don't
- 9:02Speaker 1: think we're done yet because it's gonna be an amazing, amazing,
- 9:05Speaker 1: amazing thing to see next year when we're holding the trophy. Yes,
- 9:09Speaker 1: this big goals, but I'm telling y'all right now, it
- 9:11Speaker 1: is holding the trophy. I'm saying my prayers out loud,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm saying my goals out loud, so y'all can hear them.
- 9:17Speaker 1: We're going to you know, we're going to be holding
- 9:19Speaker 1: a trophy up next year, point blank period.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And that is something y'a should look at it.
- 9:25Speaker 1: You know, fans who didn't give up, you know, we
- 9:28Speaker 1: owe that to y'all still came and supported us. We
- 9:30Speaker 1: appreciate you so much because that's what real friends are.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Man.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You're there when things are tough, You're there things when
- 9:35Speaker 1: things are great. And I know it's been a long drought,
- 9:38Speaker 1: but the hope is here. The hope is here, The
- 9:41Speaker 1: hope is here. So hope you guys are ready bucket
- 9:43Speaker 1: your seatbelts because it's gonna be a great twenty twenty five.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And you know, we got the number twelfth pick in
- 9:49Speaker 1: the draft. I was the number twelfth pick in the draft.
- 9:53Speaker 1: So I believe that's good luck already. That just giving
- 9:55Speaker 1: me a sign that we're finna get a great player.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You know, I get y'all like, but I hope we've
- 10:01Speaker 1: drafted my own defense. I want to build this defense
- 10:03Speaker 1: around and create this one of the greatest dynasties of
- 10:06Speaker 1: defense that we haven't seen in a very very long time.
- 10:09Speaker 1: And you know, obviously, just like you guys, there's been
- 10:13Speaker 1: a big swirl about, you know, the coaching and things
- 10:16Speaker 1: like that. But as a player, we just want to
- 10:18Speaker 1: control we can control. Obviously, you always want to see
- 10:23Speaker 1: people you built relationships with, people that you trust you
- 10:26Speaker 1: can fight and have successful. You still want to see
- 10:28Speaker 1: them around. But those aren't things we can control. So
- 10:31Speaker 1: you know, all I can do is pray, Pray for
- 10:34Speaker 1: the best, Pray for all families, everyone involved, because I
- 10:38Speaker 1: know it's a tough decision and you know, things that
- 10:41Speaker 1: we can't control. But you know, one thing we can
- 10:43Speaker 1: control is our effort. You know, regardless of coaching or
- 10:46Speaker 1: where it's at, we still had to come out perform
- 10:49Speaker 1: and give our best effort because that's how we're going
- 10:52Speaker 1: to get to the ball. So, you know, hopefully, I
- 10:55Speaker 1: don't know what's going to happen, but I just hope
- 10:57Speaker 1: that we're able to establish a great culture an environment
- 11:01Speaker 1: to go and win the Super Bowl. You know, but
- 11:06Speaker 1: there there is uh you know, obviously the Bears just
- 11:10Speaker 1: ex permission to interview Mike McCarthy, you know, and we
- 11:14Speaker 1: haven't yet to respond. So it just goes to show you,
- 11:17Speaker 1: you know, how good of a coach he is. You know,
- 11:20Speaker 1: he's a great coach, great person, and you know, you
- 11:24Speaker 1: know that'd be ironing because you know, obviously with the
- 11:26Speaker 1: Packers in that division for a very very long time,
- 11:28Speaker 1: so it's gonna be something very cool, very very neat
- 11:32Speaker 1: to see. But you know, I understand that, you know,
- 11:36Speaker 1: it's the nature of the business. You know, coaches, you know,
- 11:38Speaker 1: coach Mike's a great coach and he's always been honest
- 11:41Speaker 1: and fair to all. So you know, I'm not surprised
- 11:44Speaker 1: by this. He's gonna be in this league a very,
- 11:46Speaker 1: very long time, regardless of the Cowboys or you know, wherever.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I just know he's a great coach and it's gonna
- 11:53Speaker 1: be very interesting to see. You know, this season gave
- 11:58Speaker 1: us a ton of fun moments, man, very turning from moments.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You know what was my you know what was my
- 12:05Speaker 1: favorite non Cowboy moment of the regular season? I think, hmmm, man,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm would definitely go with the Bears. That Bears one
- 12:22Speaker 1: right there, because that bro I always say, there's a
- 12:25Speaker 1: great deal of karma and football, like football always has
- 12:30Speaker 1: a funny way of getting its look back. And the
- 12:32Speaker 1: fact that you know, Stevenson was turned around making front
- 12:36Speaker 1: of fans and you know, not locked in, not in tune,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and for their team to lose like that, and you
- 12:42Speaker 1: know they kind of went on losing streak ever since,
- 12:45Speaker 1: has a lot of irony. You know, it's hard to
- 12:47Speaker 1: come back from the games like that. So you know,
- 12:49Speaker 1: that was definitely probably probably the funniest moment to myself.
- 12:54Speaker 1: You know, the Bears went one to ten since that moment,
- 12:57Speaker 1: so you know, that really says a lot.
- 13:00Speaker 2: It really does. Look at her a few teams who
- 13:03Speaker 2: didn't make playoffs.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And I'm going to tell y'all this because I told y'all,
- 13:06Speaker 1: so y'all need to start listening to me. Bryce Young
- 13:10Speaker 1: went on a tear last week. Five total touchdowns, twenty
- 13:14Speaker 1: five for thirty thirty four three TVs. This is why
- 13:18Speaker 1: you don't give up on franchise players. Sometimes you strictly
- 13:22Speaker 1: just have to let these guys grow. I think it
- 13:24Speaker 1: was actually a great call by the Panthers just say, hey,
- 13:28Speaker 1: just sit back, calm yourself, and you know, reevaluate. But
- 13:34Speaker 1: the moment since he's been back, he's been on a tear.
- 13:37Speaker 1: This is the Bryce Young we've seen in college. I mean,
- 13:41Speaker 1: look at this Steph Curry turn around TV like his confidence, Like,
- 13:46Speaker 1: this is the type of team that you're going to
- 13:48Speaker 1: be scared of going into next year. The way Bryce
- 13:51Speaker 1: Young finished. They have a future back of Chubber Huber,
- 13:54Speaker 1: who they just paid. He rushed for over twelve hundred
- 13:58Speaker 1: yards and sixteen seventeen games. So this is a team
- 14:02Speaker 1: that you're going to want to be scared of. They're
- 14:04Speaker 1: gonna go out get a couple guys in the draft,
- 14:07Speaker 1: probably still hit free agency. Bryce Young is still on
- 14:09Speaker 1: a rookie deal, and they're probably gonna make a run
- 14:12Speaker 1: next year.
- 14:13Speaker 2: This is one of them teams.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Where you say, hey, they're quarterbacks there. Now he's arriving.
- 14:18Speaker 1: He's not arrived. He's arriving. He's performing at a high level.
- 14:22Speaker 1: He made some of these games very close. He's arriving.
- 14:27Speaker 1: You know, he's going up tears and say, hey, this
- 14:30Speaker 1: team could be really good next year. So this is
- 14:33Speaker 1: a team that we must look out for. I'm telling
- 14:36Speaker 1: you right now. I mean he finished the season with
- 14:38Speaker 1: twenty touchdowns, twenty one hundred yards, and the way he's
- 14:43Speaker 1: played these last six seven weeks has been very, very exciting.
- 14:47Speaker 1: If I'm the Panthers GM, I'm like, I'm excited about
- 14:50Speaker 1: where we are with bright Shaw, I'm excited. And then
- 14:54Speaker 1: let's get across another moment, and that's Tyreek Hill. You
- 14:58Speaker 1: know Tyrek Hill a about his future and his response, this.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Is my first time I haven't been in the playoffs, man,
- 15:05Speaker 3: So I mean for me, like I said, man, I
- 15:09Speaker 3: just gotta do what's best for me and my family. Though,
- 15:12Speaker 3: if that's here, that's where wherever the case may be man.
- 15:14Speaker 3: I'm I'm finna open that door for myself. Do as
- 15:17Speaker 3: I'm opening the door like I'm out, bro. You know.
- 15:23Speaker 2: So it was great playing here, but I.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Mean you're thinking about leaving him if it is a look, Rick,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I feel you, dog, And he said, I love finishing. Blessed,
- 15:38Speaker 1: blessing y'all open the doors for the Hill family forever,
- 15:40Speaker 1: nothing but respect and love. But we can honestly say,
- 15:44Speaker 1: all athletes, we've been there, Doric mean it.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I don't know. He claimed his love for tour over the.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Past couple of years, but as we see there, and
- 15:56Speaker 1: to be fairter is a difference between Patrick Mahomes and Tour,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you know, and that's no slight to two at all.
- 16:03Speaker 2: He's bout his fair share of injuries.
- 16:05Speaker 1: But you know, leaving the best quarterback in the NFL,
- 16:09Speaker 1: you know, three times Super Bowl winner, it could have
- 16:13Speaker 1: definitely been a mistake.
- 16:17Speaker 2: And I always tell people all money and good money.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I understand Rick became one of the highest paid wilde
- 16:21Speaker 1: receivers and you always want someone to get their money.
- 16:24Speaker 1: But it's just some things in life where I'll say
- 16:27Speaker 1: I'm staying because I got Patrick Mahomes going to me
- 16:30Speaker 1: you know, and that's the truth. That's how I feel
- 16:32Speaker 1: about it. You know, I don't care who it is.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You know, same thing with Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You see and T Higgins T said, I don't really
- 16:40Speaker 1: want to leave. I have Joe Burrow, like, I just
- 16:43Speaker 1: think there's certain exceptions, like you're gonna make a lot
- 16:46Speaker 1: of money in this league, but you know how you're
- 16:48Speaker 1: really gonna make a lot of money.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Winning super Bowls. There's certain quarterbacks in this league where
- 16:52Speaker 2: you said.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm playing for them regardless, I take a little bit
- 16:55Speaker 1: of less money, whatever it may be, because I know
- 16:59Speaker 1: what it's like spots in this league playing with other quarterbacks.
- 17:02Speaker 1: When you're playing one of them, elite top three, top
- 17:06Speaker 1: four quarterbacks.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I would never want to leave.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I would never want to leave as a wide receiver.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I would never want to leave one of the greatest
- 17:13Speaker 1: quarterbacks of my generation. I don't blame T Higgins and
- 17:18Speaker 1: Jamorrow what they're doing, and want to stay with Joe Burrow,
- 17:21Speaker 1: who I think has been playing the best this year.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I mean just outrageous. So you know, I feel him
- 17:29Speaker 1: in his anger and how upset he is, and it's
- 17:33Speaker 1: challenging It definitely is challenging when you don't have your quarterback,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you know, half the year.
- 17:37Speaker 2: And like I said, it's not too as far.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'm not blaming no concussions or some of the hits
- 17:41Speaker 1: he took on two at all, but the foundation of
- 17:45Speaker 1: a team culture and things like that. Man, it's just
- 17:49Speaker 1: certain environments I probably wouldn't risk losing, you know. And
- 17:53Speaker 1: Tyreek Hill is a Hall of Famer. He's one of
- 17:55Speaker 1: the greatest receivers to ever play in this game. He
- 17:57Speaker 1: changed the game of football a hundred. He's one of
- 18:00Speaker 1: them X factor type players. But you know, leaving Patrick Mahomes,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I definitely think he would want to get back to
- 18:08Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes one hundred. You know, looking back on it,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I can guarantee he's like, man past that dog. And
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'm never disregarding Tyrek Hill because that's my dog. That's
- 18:20Speaker 1: my dog, and understanding that he is a competitor. And
- 18:24Speaker 1: you heard in his voice, this is my first year
- 18:26Speaker 1: not making playoffs and he just finished an eight and
- 18:29Speaker 1: nine year career, so I mean season, so that says
- 18:33Speaker 1: a lot about who he is, you know, and not
- 18:36Speaker 1: making playoffs and probably a couple of early exits is
- 18:39Speaker 1: triggering him. Tyreek Hill has been a championship contending wide
- 18:43Speaker 1: receiver since he's been in the NFL, so I understand,
- 18:47Speaker 1: you know, and he wants to get back to that.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Ain't probably doesn't think the Miami Dolphins can offer him that.
- 18:52Speaker 1: So can you blame him for him wanting to be
- 18:55Speaker 1: somewhere else where he feel like he can win. Honestly, no,
- 18:58Speaker 1: because we've been seeing across that players are doing all
- 19:01Speaker 1: the time. Davontae Adams did it going into New York
- 19:04Speaker 1: and he's one of the greatest receivers of this game.
- 19:08Speaker 1: So honestly, there is no loyalty in this game. There
- 19:10Speaker 1: is none with coaches, So I don't blame Tyreek Hill.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Coaches leave for better opportunities all the time.
- 19:15Speaker 1: If Tyreek want a better opportunity, let him go get
- 19:17Speaker 1: a better opportunity. And that's just point blank period. And
- 19:22Speaker 1: let's just get across to Aaron Rodgers. The Jets close
- 19:25Speaker 1: out their season with a thirty two to twenty win
- 19:26Speaker 1: over the Dolphins. You know, honestly, how Aaron Rodgers finished.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I understand he has nothing left to prove. Super Bowl champion,
- 19:37Speaker 1: four time MVP, ten times Pro Bowler, he joined a
- 19:41Speaker 1: five hundred club with Tom Brady and Drew Brees, but
- 19:44Speaker 1: it would not be the same not seeing twelve on
- 19:46Speaker 1: the field. I hope he goes and gives another two
- 19:50Speaker 1: three years. I know he's looking to seeing what they
- 19:53Speaker 1: want to do.
- 19:53Speaker 2: But.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Not having Aaron Rodgers playing football is is going to
- 20:00Speaker 1: be It's like they I think I'm gen z.
- 20:04Speaker 2: You know, I'm gen z.
- 20:06Speaker 1: So Aaron Rodgers been pretty much playing football my entire life,
- 20:10Speaker 1: and not having him out there is going to be
- 20:13Speaker 1: a shock.
- 20:13Speaker 2: You know.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Accepting the Brady retirement, accepting Drew Brees retirement, now accepting
- 20:19Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers is going to be like wow, Like we
- 20:22Speaker 1: potentially might have a Madden Year without the Aaron Rodgers effect,
- 20:26Speaker 1: the quick release, best quarterback in the game. That's going
- 20:31Speaker 1: to be very, very disappointed.
- 20:33Speaker 2: I'm not even gonna lie that. It hurts. It hurts
- 20:37Speaker 2: to even think about it, you know.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So I hope he gives a couple more years, because
- 20:42Speaker 1: you know, he's one of the greatest ever. You know,
- 20:44Speaker 1: I even got I'm still blessed this day that he
- 20:46Speaker 1: asked me. You know, I think I played Aaron my
- 20:50Speaker 1: second year in the NFL and he saw something and
- 20:54Speaker 1: he just he asked me to swap jerseys.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I just couldn't believe it. I really really could not
- 20:59Speaker 2: believe it.
- 21:00Speaker 1: So his impact on my life and what he's done
- 21:04Speaker 1: for the game of football, man, I greatly appreciate extremely,
- 21:07Speaker 1: Like he is just one of them guys where you're like, man,
- 21:11Speaker 1: this guy. I played against him multiple times and just
- 21:15Speaker 1: seeing his presence and what he's done in his career
- 21:18Speaker 1: has been an honor to see. And if you know
- 21:20Speaker 1: he decides to hang it up, it's been a blessing,
- 21:22Speaker 1: a a rod like truly, he's been a blessing. And
- 21:25Speaker 1: thank you for everything you've done for this game. Let's
- 21:28Speaker 1: talk about someone's doing. He's been doing so much more
- 21:30Speaker 1: for their team the entire season, just like how Nationwide
- 21:33Speaker 1: is so much more than a great insurance company, they're
- 21:35Speaker 1: a financial services company too. And that's Jamar Chase, the
- 21:38Speaker 1: triple Crown runner, I mean, one hundred and twenty seven
- 21:42Speaker 1: receptions over seventeen hundred yards seventeen tds, second triple Crown
- 21:47Speaker 1: winner since two thousand and five, six triple crown winning
- 21:50Speaker 1: the Super Bowl era, joining Cooper Cups, T Smith Senior,
- 21:53Speaker 1: Stirling Sharp, Jerry Rice and Lance Osworth. Is Jamar Chase
- 21:57Speaker 1: a wide receiver one? Absolutely, he's a wide receiver one.
- 22:03Speaker 1: He joins that elite club. He should be paid like
- 22:07Speaker 1: a wide receiver one. He's done everything right. Him and
- 22:11Speaker 1: Joe Burrow got one of the best tandems in the
- 22:15Speaker 1: history of football. That's going to l s U Days
- 22:18Speaker 1: to Bengals. I mean, it's just been remarkable to see
- 22:21Speaker 1: what he's done this year. Congratulations, you know you did it,
- 22:27Speaker 1: mister always open. Congratulations. I can't wait to see you
- 22:31Speaker 1: get paid. You earned every dollar. The only thing I'm
- 22:36Speaker 1: hoping for is that you Joe Burrow on T need
- 22:38Speaker 1: to break up. Yeah, that needs to happen. You know,
- 22:41Speaker 1: I understand y'all want to stay together, but y'all probably
- 22:43Speaker 1: need to break up because you're you're already missed a
- 22:46Speaker 1: triple crown.
- 22:47Speaker 2: You've been enough to deal with so.
- 22:50Speaker 1: But non seriously, man, congratulations you had a hell of
- 22:54Speaker 1: a year.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Conference winner predictions.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Let's look back in the preseason, I paid easter of
- 23:00Speaker 1: conferences winners. So today we're gonna look back and let's
- 23:05Speaker 1: just see what I said.
- 23:05Speaker 2: We'll play the video on pause.
- 23:07Speaker 1: At the East Conference Let's see how bad I was.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Let's see how close I was. Let's see if i'm
- 23:13Speaker 1: you know, if I have bad takes. Unless see if
- 23:15Speaker 1: I want anybody some money, who you know took my
- 23:18Speaker 1: expertise opinion. And then at NFC North this is where
- 23:22Speaker 1: things get a little bit excited because you say, okay,
- 23:24Speaker 1: now we got a revamp Bears team. You got the
- 23:27Speaker 1: Lions who just went to the NFC Championship, and then
- 23:29Speaker 1: you got the Packers who got Jordan Love who could
- 23:31Speaker 1: have beat the foty nine ers.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I'm gonna go Packers. Man.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Between the Packers and Lions, I think Jordan Love is
- 23:37Speaker 1: I think his quarterback play could potentially beat Jared Golf.
- 23:42Speaker 1: I said he could potentially beat Jared Goff. But the
- 23:46Speaker 1: Lions are the NFC Nord champs. They've been playing the best.
- 23:51Speaker 1: If we do a new seating for this playoff, the
- 23:53Speaker 1: Lions would have to be number one. I thought losing
- 23:58Speaker 1: all those key defensive players were hurt them. But man,
- 24:01Speaker 1: the way they played the Vikings last night was truly remarkable.
- 24:05Speaker 1: That was an amazing defense to see man shouting lines. Man,
- 24:10Speaker 1: y'all got some dogs out there. Man, y'all might do it.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Y'all might do it. That offense, Jamier Gibbs and the
- 24:17Speaker 1: way that defense, y'all.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Could do that.
- 24:18Speaker 1: For three four more rounds, y'all will be super Bowl
- 24:22Speaker 1: champs for sure. Let's start with the NFC South NFC South.
- 24:28Speaker 1: The Buccaneers are gonna win the NFC South. Baker Mayfield
- 24:31Speaker 1: had a turn and they beat the Eagles in the
- 24:33Speaker 1: first round playoffs last year.
- 24:34Speaker 2: But it's gonna be very.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Interesting to see because of the better QB play between
- 24:38Speaker 1: the Buccaneers and the Falcons. I told you so, I
- 24:44Speaker 1: told you so. Let's get into the NFC West. NFC West,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna just have to edge the forty nine ers. Man,
- 24:52Speaker 1: they kept their whole roster pretty much. That offense is
- 24:55Speaker 1: looking so dynamic once again. You know the Rams with McVeigh,
- 24:58Speaker 1: you never really want to go against them, But I
- 25:00Speaker 1: think when it just compares the teams and who the
- 25:02Speaker 1: forty nine ers have and their years of being together,
- 25:06Speaker 1: it's just you just can't go against the forty nineers
- 25:09Speaker 1: in that division. Now, a healthy forty nine Ers team
- 25:15Speaker 1: will probably be the NFC West shamps.
- 25:18Speaker 2: What is the Rams record?
- 25:19Speaker 1: Where were they ten and seven without McCaffery, ayug Hardgraves.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I mean, who else They lost their backup Jordan Mason,
- 25:32Speaker 1: And I'm not making excuses for them, I'm not. But
- 25:35Speaker 1: the Rams were ten and seven. We're talking about a
- 25:38Speaker 1: Super Bowl a parent's team. Now, I'm not going against
- 25:42Speaker 1: the Rams either. I told you can't go against Sean McVay,
- 25:44Speaker 1: and they asked them out twice this year in remarkable
- 25:47Speaker 1: fashion and great wins.
- 25:50Speaker 2: So I feel like that should be a tossip. That's
- 25:51Speaker 2: like a fifty to fifty.
- 25:52Speaker 1: But we also did not anticipate the forty nine ers
- 25:55Speaker 1: not making playoffs.
- 25:56Speaker 2: At all, so that this technically can I count.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Let's get into the NFC East and obviously Cowboys, Eagles,
- 26:05Speaker 1: Commanders and Giants once again, it's gonna come down to
- 26:07Speaker 1: Cowboys Eagles, And you know, obviously I'm gonna edge the Cowboys.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Over the Eagles every day of the week.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I just feel like we're the best in the world,
- 26:14Speaker 1: and we won last year and we got a great
- 26:16Speaker 1: opportunity this year to repeat. At the end of day,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I think these guys, these teams are gonna win their division. Now,
- 26:24Speaker 1: did I know we're gonna lose our quarterback? That I
- 26:26Speaker 1: know we're gonna lose both our corners. No, yeah, adversity,
- 26:32Speaker 1: you know. Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles. Y'all went the
- 26:36Speaker 1: NFC East, But I hope y'all expect them when that
- 26:38Speaker 1: thing again next year. Ain't nobody repeating it's coming back home.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Let's get Now it's time for the AFC AFC East.
- 26:46Speaker 1: If I had to pick my division winners, I think
- 26:49Speaker 1: in the AFC East, I want to say the Dolphins.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I think if to it makes that jump, it's gonna
- 26:53Speaker 1: be great. I'm not taking anything away from the Bills,
- 26:56Speaker 1: but you know they did lose a lot, and then
- 26:58Speaker 1: you obviously you know they got the Jets.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Right, Rodgers is back.
- 27:01Speaker 1: If Aaron Rodgers can stay healthy, stay on the field,
- 27:03Speaker 1: disguise the limits for the Jets. Now, I was a
- 27:06Speaker 1: little delusion. I was a little delusion because too obviously
- 27:10Speaker 1: didn't stay healthy. No one stay healthy. But put potentially
- 27:13Speaker 1: the MVP Josh Allen, who helped carry this team to
- 27:17Speaker 1: a Division A division divisional championship.
- 27:20Speaker 2: So congratulations to the Buffalo Bills. I was a little delusional.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Won't happen again, North? When we think of the AFT North,
- 27:29Speaker 1: I mean this is tough. You know, we talk about
- 27:31Speaker 1: this is the hardest division in football. You want to
- 27:33Speaker 1: say the Bengals could really come out of this division, right,
- 27:36Speaker 1: and you know you got a healthy Joe Burrow back, right,
- 27:38Speaker 1: But then you can say, if Deshaun Watson returns to
- 27:41Speaker 1: you know form, right, the Browns are like right there.
- 27:43Speaker 1: And then obviously you got the reigning MVP of Lamar
- 27:46Speaker 1: Jackson and the Ravens.
- 27:48Speaker 2: It's like, can they put it together? Man?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Like, I'm gonna still still stick with the Ravens. They've
- 27:53Speaker 1: just been so consistent. It's hard to go away from
- 27:55Speaker 1: him as Just like I said, they've been so consistent,
- 27:59Speaker 1: it's hard to stay away from Lamar just had a
- 28:01Speaker 1: forty TV under five, over forty touchdowns, under five interception season.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Consistency is key in the season. I'll never go against
- 28:11Speaker 1: the Ravens. They're gonna be one of the toughest teams
- 28:13Speaker 1: in playoffs. They might come out of the AFC. It's
- 28:17Speaker 1: gonna be playoffs are gonna be so so fun to watch.
- 28:20Speaker 1: If Lamar can play like he did in the regular season.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Is it's up for the league. It's up. Let's getting
- 28:28Speaker 1: to the AFC South And then you go to AFC South, right,
- 28:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, the Texans, man, they put together one
- 28:34Speaker 1: of the most amazing offseasons that I seen in a
- 28:36Speaker 1: long time. You know, they was able to keep Nico Collins,
- 28:39Speaker 1: they got Tingdale back and healthy. You know, they win,
- 28:41Speaker 1: got Stefan Digs, They've run, gotten Joe Mixon to help
- 28:44Speaker 1: with they run game.
- 28:45Speaker 2: They just look like a great team so far.
- 28:47Speaker 1: The Jaguars they make jumps where I think they could
- 28:50Speaker 1: kind of push it. But you know it's gonna be tough.
- 28:53Speaker 1: I knew the Texas went. I understand the fact that
- 28:56Speaker 1: they won and CJ. Shot didn't play his best year.
- 28:59Speaker 1: That really says a lot for his division. Obviously, Jackson
- 29:02Speaker 1: fired Doug Peterson today, So it's really gonna be a
- 29:05Speaker 1: dynamic thing to watch. But the ANC South is probably
- 29:08Speaker 1: gonna run through the Texans for the next couple of years.
- 29:11Speaker 2: AFC West Final AFC West, Sorry.
- 29:14Speaker 1: But we gotta go with our MVP, our Shuper Bowl
- 29:17Speaker 1: Champ Patrick Mahomes. What he's been able to do is
- 29:20Speaker 1: his consistency of being the best and having Andy Reid
- 29:22Speaker 1: and you know, being them being that dynamic over the
- 29:25Speaker 1: last course. In the last couple of years. We just
- 29:27Speaker 1: got to keep it with the Chiefs. Like I said,
- 29:30Speaker 1: with the Ravens, consistency is key. I really I would
- 29:34Speaker 1: honestly say, Man, if everything played up to par I
- 29:38Speaker 1: would be a strong you know, you know, I'm four
- 29:42Speaker 1: for for off, you know, just raw, you know, didn't
- 29:46Speaker 1: know anything. But if that didn't happen, I think I'm
- 29:50Speaker 1: six and two without injuries, everyone playing their best ball.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I think I go at least go six and two,
- 29:56Speaker 1: six and two, So say what you want. Last night,
- 30:01Speaker 1: the Vikings won thirty one nine to clinch the NFC
- 30:03Speaker 1: number one seed in a bye. The chat asking me
- 30:07Speaker 1: about your Vikings picked last week.
- 30:11Speaker 2: In mind you that game is very deceiving.
- 30:15Speaker 1: That game was very deceiving given a different matchup, you know,
- 30:19Speaker 1: not different matchup, you know, different circumstances.
- 30:23Speaker 2: You know.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Obviously watching the game from you know, my point of view,
- 30:26Speaker 1: I see the game differently, right. I seen the Vikings
- 30:29Speaker 1: team get to the red zone five times but couldn't
- 30:31Speaker 1: find ways to finish. Difference between seven and three points
- 30:34Speaker 1: is a lot. And they also didn't convert one time
- 30:37Speaker 1: where they turned the ball over, but they had opportunities
- 30:40Speaker 1: to win that game.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Did they win it?
- 30:42Speaker 1: No? And if they do score those situations, you say,
- 30:45Speaker 1: this is a team where you're forcing Jared Goff to
- 30:47Speaker 1: throw the ball, you're allowing you're pass rush to get
- 30:49Speaker 1: after it.
- 30:50Speaker 2: But the fact that they kind.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Of just let the Detroit play their game, standing the run,
- 30:55Speaker 1: let Jared Goff standing the playoffs. You're not going to
- 30:58Speaker 1: beat Detroit playing Detroit ball. Detroit plays bully ball, and
- 31:02Speaker 1: eventually they're gonna you know, they'll find a way to
- 31:04Speaker 1: break you and Ben Johnson's and matter of fact, I
- 31:08Speaker 1: think this is all Aaron Glynn. Aaron Glenn played one
- 31:11Speaker 1: of the best defensive coaching games I've seen in a
- 31:13Speaker 1: long time. To hold that team to three, find a
- 31:17Speaker 1: way to slow down Justin Jefferson, make Sam Donald uncomfortable,
- 31:20Speaker 1: with Sam Donald miss it, you know, a couple of
- 31:22Speaker 1: throws which he's been.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Making all year.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I don't regret my decision, but that came down to
- 31:29Speaker 1: the Lions defense won that game one hundred percent. So
- 31:32Speaker 1: shout to Lion's defense, Shouts to Aaron Glynn, because that
- 31:35Speaker 1: was a masterful performance. That game, like I said, was
- 31:40Speaker 1: way more deceiving than you know, you give credit for
- 31:43Speaker 1: one hundred percent. But the Vikings played, I mean, the
- 31:47Speaker 1: Detroit Lions played their butts off, and I thought, you know,
- 31:50Speaker 1: them missing on them players, they would you know, slow
- 31:54Speaker 1: them down. But I was completely wrong, and I apologize.
- 31:57Speaker 1: They were absolutely the best defense out there in that feel. Yes,
- 32:03Speaker 1: let's just make some predictions. Matchup Chargers Texans. I'm going
- 32:08Speaker 1: with the Chargers. I think the Chargers have the most
- 32:12Speaker 1: momentum going into this. Uh you know this game. Their
- 32:16Speaker 1: defense been playing lights out. You know, you look at
- 32:20Speaker 1: it justin Herbert's been playing great. I just think, you know,
- 32:25Speaker 1: like a texting another team who's battle injuries.
- 32:29Speaker 2: But I think the.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Chargers going with this game. I'm gonna take Chargers. Steelers, Ravens.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I'm going with the Ravens. I'm going with the Ravens.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Lamar is on a tear.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Uh. The Steelers lost.
- 32:39Speaker 1: They have not been clicking late in December and in January.
- 32:43Speaker 1: They have not looked like the best team. They haven't.
- 32:47Speaker 1: This isn't the same uh Steelers team we saw in
- 32:51Speaker 1: October or November. They look like a completely different team
- 32:55Speaker 1: and versus a team who's looked extraordinary the past six six,
- 33:01Speaker 1: seven weeks. I can't go against the Ravens. I'm going
- 33:03Speaker 1: with the Ravens and Broncos Bills. This might be Rookie
- 33:09Speaker 1: of the Year versus possibly MVP.
- 33:11Speaker 2: And we're going with the MVP. We're going with the.
- 33:16Speaker 1: You know what, this game like the way closer than
- 33:18Speaker 1: people think. With that Broncos defense, I think they can
- 33:24Speaker 1: find a way to slow down. I might take a
- 33:26Speaker 1: sneaky and a whopping. This might be crazy. I'm taking
- 33:30Speaker 1: the upset Broncos over Bills in the first round of playoffs.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I'm taking the upset. I'm taking it.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Vikings versus Rams' man healthy Rams. I might take a
- 33:50Speaker 1: healthy Rams. I'm in calling for another upset. I'm taking
- 33:54Speaker 1: the Rams over the Vikings in week one. You know,
- 34:00Speaker 1: you know we you know they had, you know, a
- 34:02Speaker 1: crazy matchup. They had a crazy matchup early in the
- 34:06Speaker 1: season where you say, Donald got you know, got saved
- 34:10Speaker 1: with a couple of calls and things like that. But
- 34:14Speaker 1: I'm saying this game could potentially get ugly. I understand
- 34:20Speaker 1: that LA beat the Vikings early in the year. In
- 34:22Speaker 1: Week eight, I think they do it again. They did
- 34:26Speaker 1: not want this matchup. I think the Rams matchup so
- 34:29Speaker 1: much better. For against the Vikings because of the tandem,
- 34:32Speaker 1: how much they have the Vikings it. They are a
- 34:37Speaker 1: great team. But that Los Angeles Rams, they are brewing
- 34:41Speaker 1: a upset. They are brewing an upset. They rested their
- 34:43Speaker 1: starters last week, and that just means McVeigh has been
- 34:46Speaker 1: scheming the last two weeks. He's going to understand the
- 34:49Speaker 1: ins and outs of this Vikings defense. It's going to
- 34:54Speaker 1: be a great game. I can't wait to watch. It's
- 34:56Speaker 1: gonna be a great game. But I'm calling Vikings. I
- 34:59Speaker 1: mean Rams over Vikings, Rams over Vikings. Commanders versus Bucks.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Oh man, we got Marshawan versus the Goat Mike Evans again.
- 35:10Speaker 1: This is gonna be a great one. Buccaneers roll past
- 35:15Speaker 1: the Commanders early in the season, but I think they
- 35:18Speaker 1: get they look back. Jaden Daniels, Jaden Daniels, He's he's
- 35:24Speaker 1: going to be ready.
- 35:25Speaker 2: He is going to be ready. I'm going to take
- 35:27Speaker 2: the Commanders over the Bucks.
- 35:29Speaker 1: In the week one of the playoffs matchup Packers Eagles
- 35:35Speaker 1: losing Christian Watson's hurt. We don't know that. How long
- 35:40Speaker 1: is Jordan Love out. I don't think we fully know
- 35:42Speaker 1: the extent they're losing Alexander. You know, if Jordan Love
- 35:48Speaker 1: is not playing, this is the easy one. It's going
- 35:51Speaker 1: to be Eagles over the Packers. You absolutely need your
- 35:54Speaker 1: franchise quarterback to beat this Eagles defense. This Eagles defense
- 35:58Speaker 1: has been a top three defense league. There's no doubt
- 36:01Speaker 1: about it. You need your franchise quarterback doing this. But
- 36:05Speaker 1: those are my key games. But those are my winners
- 36:08Speaker 1: from the NFC in the AFC. Well, I was exactly
- 36:15Speaker 1: right in my college playoff predictions though. I said, if
- 36:19Speaker 1: Will Howard played like how he did against Tennessee, that
- 36:24Speaker 1: Ohio State will be hard to beat. And once again
- 36:27Speaker 1: I'm saying it, but Texas's plexus defense is one of
- 36:32Speaker 1: the best defenses in college football. They gotta find a
- 36:36Speaker 1: way to you know, find a way to slow down
- 36:39Speaker 1: Jeremih Smith and junior Jeremih Smith, who's been on the
- 36:43Speaker 1: Tariff college.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Football, especially in the playoffs.
- 36:45Speaker 1: He absolutely decapitated Oregon decapitated him.
- 36:51Speaker 2: This is gonna be a great game. That comin bow
- 36:53Speaker 2: game is gonna be a great one. Oh Man.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Just because I hate Ohio State, but they've been playing
- 36:59Speaker 1: so well, I'm still gonna go with Texas. I'm still
- 37:03Speaker 1: going with Texas. I'm still going with Texas, and my
- 37:05Speaker 1: niitty lines are still in it. Notre Dame has done
- 37:09Speaker 1: nothing to be here with us. This is the matchup
- 37:13Speaker 1: that we wanted. We're gonna beat Notre Dame. We're going
- 37:17Speaker 1: to the College Football Playoff Championship. We are going to
- 37:21Speaker 1: go be champions, point blank period. We're going to go
- 37:25Speaker 1: be champions. Let's go in Miami. I will be there,
- 37:31Speaker 1: the energy will be there. Let's go. Let's take some
- 37:37Speaker 1: final questions from the chat. I feel t Hill will
- 37:39Speaker 1: be a great with Jordan Love or Herbert Tyrek hit
- 37:42Speaker 1: the code. He's from Florida. He's not going there. He's
- 37:45Speaker 1: not going to be warm. He's coming to Dallas. H
- 37:50Speaker 1: scatter Bow or Jant. I'm still taking uh, you know,
- 37:57Speaker 1: I'm still taking GNT, No doubt about it. I'm still
- 38:01Speaker 1: taking GANT. Are you adding Land L'Angelo Ball's new song
- 38:06Speaker 1: to your place? Honestly, I have not heard it yet.
- 38:09Speaker 1: I have not heard it yet. I have not heard
- 38:12Speaker 1: it yet, but I might have to go listen to it.
- 38:36Speaker 1: But I've not heard that song. I have not heard
- 38:38Speaker 1: that song. But man, this has been an amazing journey, amazing, amazing,
- 38:45Speaker 1: amazing journey. I can't thank y'all enough. Everyone who tuned in,
- 38:49Speaker 1: tapped into the pod. It's been an awesome year. You
- 38:53Speaker 1: know we are not done yet. We are going to
- 38:57Speaker 1: have some postseason shows, so you'll be hearing from me
- 39:00Speaker 1: and what I think about each game through major detail
- 39:04Speaker 1: about the postseason.
- 39:05Speaker 2: I can't wait to give that to y'all.
- 39:07Speaker 1: We're gonna have some postseason shows, but for the regular
- 39:10Speaker 1: season that is a rap. It's been an amazing, amazing
- 39:13Speaker 1: time with you all. I can't thank you enough. Keep
- 39:16Speaker 1: tuning in, keep listening. It's gonna be even better this
- 39:20Speaker 1: postseason and I can't wait. So I see you soon
- 39:24Speaker 1: and next year. You already know we're back at it
