- 0:52Speaker 3: for them. They're going to be back tomorrow. Well, they're
- 0:54Speaker 3: gonna be live tomorrow, I should say. From Baton Rouge Louisa.
- 0:59Speaker 1: A razing came really yeah still there, Yeah, in that
- 1:05Speaker 1: interview I heard it him. Today.
- 1:06Speaker 3: We're gonna look at some headlines something I'm very excited about,
- 1:10Speaker 3: something that we actually had a meeting about. Menace wants
- 1:12Speaker 3: to do a redo of the Secret Game.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yes, which is not a secret anymore. Yeah, it's new.
- 1:18Speaker 1: The game that I did was log In or Die.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Now I go, there's something here, So there's gonna be
- 1:25Speaker 1: a new version. It's something and Die. I am not
- 1:28Speaker 1: going to reveal.
- 1:28Speaker 3: It just yet, so blank and Die.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Sammy has officially requested vote or Die in honor of Diddy. Yeah,
- 1:37Speaker 5: he was a big, big proposal voter die campaign.
- 1:39Speaker 1: We'll not be voting today, but we will be doing
- 1:41Speaker 1: something or dying.
- 1:43Speaker 3: So Okay, be ready, and is it the same punishments
- 1:46Speaker 3: or we're going to find out later.
- 1:47Speaker 1: You'll find out, all right, we'll find that you'll be different.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Also, we'll take a listen to this week in Audio
- 1:52Speaker 3: with Seabat, who also noticed something on dating sites lately.
- 1:56Speaker 5: I have not had any of the dating apps on
- 1:59Speaker 5: my phone for a number of years, actually because they
- 2:00Speaker 5: got to be oversaturated.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It got to be it was spam.
- 2:04Speaker 5: It was girls just like the every other mess every
- 2:07Speaker 5: other profile would say I'm not on here, often hit
- 2:10Speaker 5: me up on instag or on Snapchat whatever, TikTok.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Right, it was like advertising.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Yeah, that's all it was. And but I noticed a
- 2:16Speaker 5: couple of things. I'd just log back on just to
- 2:18Speaker 5: kind of see what the new trends are. And there
- 2:20Speaker 5: are a couple of words, because I've been on these
- 2:22Speaker 5: for over a decade now, in one form or the other,
- 2:24Speaker 5: a couple of words now that I'm seeing in every
- 2:26Speaker 5: other profile. And the number one thing has been consistency.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Women want men to be consistent. And my question is
- 2:35Speaker 5: women have always wanted that they want stable like normal.
- 2:38Speaker 5: You know, I get it when you're when you're twenty
- 2:40Speaker 5: and you want the bad boy who's a maniac. But
- 2:42Speaker 5: these are you know, women in their thirties and forties. Now,
- 2:44Speaker 5: they consistent And my question is what made them choose
- 2:49Speaker 5: that word.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Was there a ergy yeah right, the concept of podcast
- 2:54Speaker 1: of a TikTok clip.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Yeah, there was a caller daddy or something, right, because
- 2:59Speaker 5: the concept is not new, but the word is just
- 3:02Speaker 5: everywhere now, and I'm wondering why that is interesting.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I mean, I haven't seen it. What do they mean
- 3:08Speaker 3: by that? Consistent in their career?
- 3:10Speaker 5: Consistently consistent effort, and consistent communication.
- 3:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I think girls are just used to getting ghosted
- 3:17Speaker 6: a lot these days, or they're high maintenance, and then
- 3:20Speaker 6: the guy will I mean not even trying to be funny,
- 3:23Speaker 6: but yeah, like guys have options too, so they lack
- 3:26Speaker 6: consistency when there's nothing keeping them there.
- 3:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean all it's consistent too though, because guys
- 3:32Speaker 7: also will try to come in like love bomb and
- 3:34Speaker 7: act a certain way right away, and then they disappeared
- 3:37Speaker 7: and all this stuff. So it's like, yeah, it's you're
- 3:39Speaker 7: not going to trust someone right away because you're like,
- 3:42Speaker 7: all right, let's see if this is consistent or if
- 3:44Speaker 7: you're just acting this way in certain situations.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Oh, and they're probably looking for husbands and kids at
- 3:48Speaker 6: this age, so it's like, yeah, hurry.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Well the other the other side of that, Morgan, is
- 3:53Speaker 5: you see the word dating with intention?
- 3:55Speaker 6: Yes exactly, Oh yes, yes, So don't just date me
- 3:59Speaker 6: just to date me, have.
- 4:00Speaker 4: To have marriage or kids like in the future.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Wow, that's like whatever.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Easy to use because you just tell them what they
- 4:11Speaker 4: want reading.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna regia.
- 4:12Speaker 5: I pulled up this girl right here, just a random girl.
- 4:14Speaker 5: She's pretty cute and she's she's thirty nine. I want
- 4:19Speaker 5: someone who is engaging, committed, financially stable, chivalrous, takes the lead,
- 4:23Speaker 5: emotionally available, and is dating with.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Your stilling.
- 4:29Speaker 5: The kind of points of the a because that paragraph
- 4:32Speaker 5: right there, copy paste every other every other profile has
- 4:35Speaker 5: that crap on there, and then they'll say, my ideal
- 4:38Speaker 5: date is wake up early for macha and a run.
- 4:43Speaker 1: So that is an instant in.
- 4:45Speaker 5: This case, swipe left because it's the same basic bitch
- 4:47Speaker 5: in the thirties.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Now on the flip side, I listened to this podcast
- 4:51Speaker 1: it's called group Chat is So Good. I love it,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and they were talking about using dating apps, and you know,
- 4:57Speaker 1: it is a Coachella weekend two this weekend, And they
- 5:00Speaker 1: said in the dating apps, they're having women hit them
- 5:04Speaker 1: up and say, oh, what are you doing this weekend?
- 5:07Speaker 1: And they go, oh, I'm going to Coachella. Are you going?
- 5:10Speaker 1: Oh no, my wristband fell through. I can't get in.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So like women are just like constantly in the yeah,
- 5:17Speaker 1: in the DM trying to find a guy just hook
- 5:20Speaker 1: them up to go to the Mixico.
- 5:23Speaker 4: My sister got banned from dating apps for asking guys
- 5:25Speaker 4: for weed. Yeah, there's other uses for women.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's not just for men just the music festival. It's
- 5:32Speaker 1: also they said, Yeah, they hit them up and asked, oh, hey,
- 5:36Speaker 1: can you spot me a few dollars to pay for
- 5:38Speaker 1: my door Dash things like that. Then they start talking
- 5:44Speaker 1: about another app and I sent you the details on Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you got to pull it up. It's free chipper. Yeah, probably,
- 5:52Speaker 1: they said allegedly, they said, this is this is straight
- 5:54Speaker 1: up prostitution. On how this works, she brought But basically
- 5:58Speaker 1: like guys can put like they can buy them like
- 6:02Speaker 1: flowers or virtual something, and they can flip them into
- 6:06Speaker 1: gift cards. Okay, here we go.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Yeah, so there are a group of these apps I
- 6:10Speaker 5: won't name the names here. I love the way they
- 6:14Speaker 5: announced this one. This app focuses on female empowerment by
- 6:17Speaker 5: allowing women to set deposits for men to book a
- 6:19Speaker 5: date with them.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah, independent woman, You're empowered.
- 6:28Speaker 7: Women's paying for the date.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Save deposits. Meeting men can book a date with them
- 6:33Speaker 1: if they meet them to go on a day with you,
- 6:37Speaker 1: you have to put a deposit down of five hundred bucks. Okay,
- 6:40Speaker 1: here's another one.
- 6:40Speaker 5: A platform or women can earn points through text, chats
- 6:43Speaker 5: and calls, which can re redeem for gifts.
- 6:48Speaker 3: But then you have to go through with it, right, Yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 3: like you got to. Actually that's the idea.
- 6:55Speaker 6: And then these same girls will be like, oh, I
- 6:56Speaker 6: want someone emotionally available, like.
- 6:58Speaker 7: Dude, I would sets like a different This is a prostitution.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Happened without saying it.
- 7:05Speaker 7: They're like, no, no, it's just for dinner and put
- 7:07Speaker 7: down a deposit and that's like you're paying for services.
- 7:10Speaker 3: But let's say that it is. Let's say it's completely
- 7:13Speaker 3: what we think it is. What's wrong with that?
- 7:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, nothing's wrong with I was showing menace
- 7:18Speaker 1: and all. What's wrong with it? We can't do it.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I'll bring this one back up.
- 7:22Speaker 5: This is a girl because a lot of these years ago,
- 7:25Speaker 5: these dating apps started using travel mode, meaning if you
- 7:28Speaker 5: are wherever across in so many cases across around the world,
- 7:32Speaker 5: you can match with people in New York, LA, or
- 7:34Speaker 5: where you can pregame.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:36Speaker 5: So this is a girl from London who said her
- 7:39Speaker 5: prompt was this year, I really want to manifesting Coachella
- 7:43Speaker 5: weekend too, but I'm a broke student in London.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Hard emoji, sad face. Need help getting flights, stay and
- 7:51Speaker 1: or tickets, sad emoji. Maybe we could help each other
- 7:54Speaker 1: out during that time, if you know what I mean,
- 7:56Speaker 1: wiki face.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Because you're seeing her stuff, does that mean she's here?
- 8:00Speaker 8: No, she's she's Guys will see it and the podcast
- 8:07Speaker 8: will listen to They're like, guys are taking these chicks
- 8:10Speaker 8: up on that's just.
- 8:11Speaker 5: For fun to investigate, because i'm, you know, for for
- 8:14Speaker 5: the worst for the show. Yeah yeah, I said, don't
- 8:17Speaker 5: do it. Only dorks go to weekend to Coachella.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I'm going, which is life.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Yeah uh And then she replied better than not going
- 8:25Speaker 5: at all. And I said, and of course at this time,
- 8:27Speaker 5: I'm just messing with her. How about a nice book
- 8:30Speaker 5: and some community services.
- 8:32Speaker 1: And no, no, she said, I'll read on the way there.
- 8:35Speaker 3: So if you fall for this and you buy this
- 8:37Speaker 3: chick a plane ticket, right, so then what who's to
- 8:40Speaker 3: say you're going to meet up.
- 8:41Speaker 4: With her, She's never gonna see you.
- 8:43Speaker 5: She has to get that wristband right because the plane
- 8:45Speaker 5: ticket is literally because for folks who's never been, Coachella
- 8:48Speaker 5: is two hours outside of l a half hour outside
- 8:52Speaker 5: of Palm Springs. So even if she gets a direct
- 8:54Speaker 5: flight from London, which is going to be you know,
- 8:55Speaker 5: a thousand bucks men, I'm probably.
- 8:57Speaker 1: It's gonna ye.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Getting there. Getting in is still another thousands something dollars.
- 9:01Speaker 6: But you get there, you're never seeing her again once
- 9:02Speaker 6: you get past the gatea coch.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Yeah, once stay into some tent, well, a girl can
- 9:09Speaker 1: find way she hits somebody else up on the apps exactly.
- 9:13Speaker 1: That's how the game works, dude.
- 9:15Speaker 4: You can find a motal anywhere, insane.
- 9:17Speaker 5: So yeah, that's one of the That's the thing I've
- 9:18Speaker 5: been noticing on these the dating apps these days. The
- 9:20Speaker 5: other thing to women and I mentioned this to Metas
- 9:22Speaker 5: off the air, they love f one and this again,
- 9:25Speaker 5: I've been on these for ten years now, off and on.
- 9:28Speaker 5: I didn't see this two three years ago, but every again,
- 9:30Speaker 5: every third or fourth profile says, what am I doing
- 9:32Speaker 5: Sunday watching F one?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'll tell you they're not bad looking. The
- 9:37Speaker 1: fan base on there a little bit different from the
- 9:39Speaker 1: Monster Truck no offense.
- 9:42Speaker 5: I think the thing is they it's not they don't
- 9:44Speaker 5: like motorsports. They like what menace to say. They like
- 9:46Speaker 5: the You're Monaco and You're it's.
- 9:49Speaker 1: All luxury destination the world. It's just like Coachella. Well,
- 9:53Speaker 1: there's different levels of access things.
- 9:58Speaker 5: There's no there's no infield like you'd have it even Indianapolis,
- 10:01Speaker 5: much less Talladega or Daytona.
- 10:03Speaker 1: But what that said, there are women that are into it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They are like kind of race nerds that are into
- 10:08Speaker 1: the science of the racing. No, I'll tell you sure,
- 10:11Speaker 1: there are no no, No, I mean no. I think
- 10:13Speaker 1: it's fifty to fifty. There's the women that want the
- 10:15Speaker 1: luxury part of it, and then there's women that are
- 10:17Speaker 1: like legit into the science of it. I can I
- 10:19Speaker 1: can pull up a bunch of them. I bet you can.
- 10:21Speaker 1: But I'm saying the women on these dating apps what
- 10:24Speaker 1: they're also still hot too. That are the science.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Here's the other thing too, is I'll point this out.
- 10:29Speaker 5: People often ask where do you find the hot people
- 10:31Speaker 5: on the dating app and outside of the paid apps
- 10:34Speaker 5: or the rya apps that are for celebrities. I pulled
- 10:37Speaker 5: up Bumble, which used to be when it first came out.
- 10:39Speaker 5: It used to be great because that bumble is the
- 10:40Speaker 5: one where the girls have to make the first Yeah,
- 10:43Speaker 5: quality is in the toilet. Well, I think what they
- 10:46Speaker 5: did is they loosened the restrictions on girls have to
- 10:49Speaker 5: message first because girls are lazy and don't want to
- 10:52Speaker 5: do with things they don't have.
- 10:53Speaker 1: To do on a bumble.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Now, a lot of times you can mad, but then
- 11:00Speaker 5: it'll still say, oh, you know, Sophia has set her
- 11:03Speaker 5: opening move, and it's like a prompt.
- 11:04Speaker 1: About oh tell me about the last movie they.
- 11:06Speaker 6: Made you cryers, Oh, so starting a conversation without starting
- 11:09Speaker 6: in conversations.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you still have to do all the work, but
- 11:12Speaker 1: the girls are hain uh.
- 11:14Speaker 5: And I will say this, and I was a sponsor
- 11:17Speaker 5: a spokesperson for this at at one point I will
- 11:19Speaker 5: gladly be again because hinge. Yeah, as like I think
- 11:23Speaker 5: it's because it is. I mean, there's still photos and everything.
- 11:26Speaker 5: But it is a lot of this text based stuff.
- 11:27Speaker 5: That's what I've been reading all these profiles from. And
- 11:29Speaker 5: yes there are a lot of basic easy bitches on here,
- 11:33Speaker 5: but guess what that's because that's where that's just what.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Exists in the in the world.
- 11:37Speaker 5: But hotness and like responsibility wise, uh, it's I would
- 11:41Speaker 5: say Hinge is the leader, and of course Tinder is just.
- 11:46Speaker 1: In my opinion std Central my friend the sex Ollamy podcast.
- 11:50Speaker 1: She says that her buddy calls it the the b
- 11:53Speaker 1: job dispenser.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Well, if you're six foot three and hot, yes, all right,
- 11:58Speaker 3: I'm so glad.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I'm out of that world, aren't you too, Sammy?
- 12:01Speaker 7: Now, yeah, I never did do the dating apps though. Gosh,
- 12:08Speaker 7: now they're strangers.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I just walk up.
- 12:11Speaker 5: To me, lucky.
- 12:16Speaker 3: All right, welcome back to the Woody Show. Everybody, Today
- 12:18Speaker 3: is Thursday. It's April to sixteenth, and that means today
- 12:23Speaker 3: is World semi colon Daymi.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah, don't kill yourself now, wait, don't kill yourself.
- 12:30Speaker 6: It does not mean like I tried to kill myself.
- 12:32Speaker 6: I used to be suicidal and I'm not. People get
- 12:34Speaker 6: those tattoos all the time.
- 12:35Speaker 7: To check your cob, I you have no idea what
- 12:37Speaker 7: you're talking about.
- 12:38Speaker 6: My colon is like a symbol of like look it
- 12:40Speaker 6: up sea best. I don't have my computer, but I
- 12:42Speaker 6: thought it was more like a wink.
- 12:44Speaker 5: I okay. Here's the thing is, you guys are correct.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Semi cal represents a sentence that the author could have ended,
- 12:51Speaker 5: but shows not to in general, much like I guess
- 12:54Speaker 5: it's and I do recall hearing this at some point
- 12:56Speaker 5: that it's they semi colon in your life would be
- 12:59Speaker 5: you know, I thought about in drinking a gall on
- 13:01Speaker 5: a bleach, but then I didn't chicken.
- 13:03Speaker 6: Out all suicide. But I didn't, So I'm going to
- 13:06Speaker 6: get this semi colon test.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Sammy, punching your head made you smart.
- 13:11Speaker 5: And in fact, the world Semi colon Day is about
- 13:13Speaker 5: that version of semi colon, not the actual the actuation day.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I admit I've never known how to properly use one.
- 13:21Speaker 5: And it is also a way to kind of like
- 13:23Speaker 5: take credit for like, oh, I'm hardcore a moody.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I could have killed myself I wanted to, but I club.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a way to take credit for being hardcore
- 13:32Speaker 5: and edgy, but not actually go through but not committing.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I thought it was about the butt.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I thought it was a wink too. International Documentary Day,
- 13:42Speaker 3: Today's National Auctioneers Day. Uh, and then National ex Benedict Day?
- 13:48Speaker 3: Hell yeah?
- 13:50Speaker 1: Oh?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Where Pajamas to Work Day, which Gina said she's going
- 13:52Speaker 3: to do tomorrow when they broadcast from that.
- 13:56Speaker 5: If you go to certain stores, every day is where
- 13:57Speaker 5: a pajamas? Where job was on the plane and every.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Day that's true. Well, menes, I got something for you. Yes,
- 14:07Speaker 3: the object of your lust, the object of your sexual desire?
- 14:13Speaker 1: One Lri Laughlin. What is she doing?
- 14:16Speaker 3: She is now separated from her husband Massimo. Really genuinely,
- 14:20Speaker 3: I thought they were going to do that a lot earlier.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Well they're they're so, they're separated, they're not divorced yet.
- 14:27Speaker 3: But Laurie is back in the dating world. Oh yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 3: she's dating again. She says she's just having fun, keeping
- 14:35Speaker 3: her dates casual, no desire for anything serious.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Yet perfect.
- 14:40Speaker 7: And have you seen her face, because I'm pretty sure
- 14:42Speaker 7: after the initial separation she got a facelift.
- 14:45Speaker 1: She looks amazing. Well, I think you know, natchra, let
- 14:50Speaker 1: me hit it for the GRAM. I think so.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Yeah, she was married to Masmo for twenty eight years
- 14:57Speaker 3: and they haven't filed for divorce yet, but Lauri has
- 14:59Speaker 3: moved on. According to her, So she.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Is sixty one and looks thirty nine like she's she
- 15:03Speaker 5: looks to share a born flattened face.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and she was in jail, so she got cred and.
- 15:08Speaker 3: She's putting herself out there and apparently her friends have
- 15:11Speaker 3: been trying to set her up on dates. So throw
- 15:13Speaker 3: your hat in the rain.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I need to get on Riyah. You love on there
- 15:19Speaker 1: if you don't know, that's the celebrity dating app and.
- 15:22Speaker 3: You have to be invited, right yeah, or.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Get an invite code or get some sort of famous
- 15:26Speaker 5: invitation thing.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Another thing I saw that was kind of insane. Frankie Muniz.
- 15:31Speaker 3: He's promoting the reboot of Malcolm in the Middle. He
- 15:35Speaker 3: was doing this sit down and interview talked about how
- 15:37Speaker 3: he turned down an offer to host SNL when he
- 15:40Speaker 3: was a teenager and why because of a crush the
- 15:44Speaker 3: way you love laur Laughlin. He loved Amanda Bynes. So
- 15:49Speaker 3: his mom tells Frankie one day, Hey, that's that. Now
- 15:52Speaker 3: got a phone call. You got an offer to host
- 15:54Speaker 3: Saturday Live, and Frankie says, what's that and she tells
- 15:59Speaker 3: him what Saturday Night Live is because he claims he
- 16:01Speaker 3: doesn't didn't know what it was. And then he said, okay,
- 16:04Speaker 3: well when and she said April third, and he said, oh,
- 16:07Speaker 3: hell no, I am co hosting the Kid's Choice Awards
- 16:11Speaker 3: and they were being costed in the year two thousand
- 16:13Speaker 3: by Amedda Bynes. He was so stoked to meet her.
- 16:16Speaker 3: He wanted to be around her, and because he had
- 16:18Speaker 3: a crush on her, he turned down a hosting gig.
- 16:23Speaker 5: He took a couple of else yeah, because if he
- 16:25Speaker 5: had gotten with I mean, obviously he tried to get
- 16:27Speaker 5: with her, but if he got with a man of
- 16:28Speaker 5: buyers for folks who don't know, she went crazy, got
- 16:31Speaker 5: real fat, got face tattooed.
- 16:32Speaker 1: It's the heart on her face. Still way later, she's
- 16:35Speaker 1: dropping tracks and she says that she's like on ozepic
- 16:38Speaker 1: or something. Oh she is crazy, dude, She's good. The
- 16:43Speaker 1: only part is, yeah, he did take an ol because
- 16:45Speaker 1: they would be pulling up all those SNL clips for
- 16:48Speaker 1: the end of time.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Right, And it's not like I mean mcaulay culkn hostess
- 16:51Speaker 5: and now that they can work with kids, it's not
- 16:53Speaker 5: that hard.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I think maybe at the time he was going to
- 16:56Speaker 3: be the youngest Frankie Munez. Oh really maybe before. I'm
- 17:01Speaker 3: not sure.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Damn, what do you got that is? Well, you were
- 17:04Speaker 1: just talking about documentaries. Now there's a documentary series that's
- 17:08Speaker 1: coming to HPO Max next month and it's made by
- 17:12Speaker 1: Ben Stiller and it's about bowling.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Oh so it's already out.
- 17:16Speaker 3: I think it sounds.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I've already watched the whole thing.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Really, Yes, it was already called Born.
- 17:27Speaker 1: No, it wasn't called.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Unless we're talking about different things. It's Yeah, a new
- 17:31Speaker 4: documentary just came out. I've watched all the episodes.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Actually, maybe I needed to leave my cookies on my entertainment.
- 17:38Speaker 1: It was called The bowlingmoviews dot com. Here's what it is.
- 17:42Speaker 5: It concluded on April thirteenth, so maybe that's what.
- 17:46Speaker 1: It's a five part series.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Maybe started episodes started March sixteenth, included April thirteenth.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Maybe I read March as may.
- 17:57Speaker 6: I will say it's good, but it's far as documentaries go,
- 18:00Speaker 6: I'm a little disappointed.
- 18:01Speaker 3: How do they make a five part documentary about bowling?
- 18:05Speaker 6: It follows them throughout the season of trying to make
- 18:07Speaker 6: the tournament make a certain TV show, and it follows
- 18:10Speaker 6: all like the let's say five most Famous bowler.
- 18:13Speaker 1: They actually interesting, like Kyle.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Troop, and well I like it because.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I like bowling.
- 18:17Speaker 6: Yeah, but the documentary it's all right, it's not the best.
- 18:21Speaker 4: But yeah, it's already out.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So Morgan loves all the trashy sports, bowling, darts.
- 18:27Speaker 4: My mom loves darts, not me. Put me in there.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Actually I enjoy them too. I'm just saying I'm bowling
- 18:33Speaker 1: and fighting.
- 18:33Speaker 4: What's wrong with that?
- 18:34Speaker 1: Recognized games? Actually?
- 18:36Speaker 5: Ben Stiller news there they Foker in Law, the I
- 18:38Speaker 5: guess fourth movie in the Fokkers really yeah, Foker in
- 18:44Speaker 5: Law is now. I think it's coming out in November
- 18:47Speaker 5: is but they did the trailers out now. Ben Stiller
- 18:49Speaker 5: is officially at sixty four years older than Robert de
- 18:53Speaker 5: Niro was Meet the Parents.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Is Robert like is coherent? Yeah, because he wouldn't.
- 19:01Speaker 5: I saw him in that Sebastian Maniscalco movie and he
- 19:03Speaker 5: didn't look like he was all there, Oh my god,
- 19:05Speaker 5: but you know he's been doing it's probably just muscle
- 19:08Speaker 5: memory at this point for.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, speaking of Sebastian Maniscalco. He's getting into our business.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Did you see that? Oh good, Yeah, he's getting his
- 19:15Speaker 1: own radio channel, dropping podcasts. He's stayed winning.
- 19:21Speaker 5: I mean to be fair, if Sebastian Maniscalco got our job,
- 19:25Speaker 5: that would be that would be a literal, you know,
- 19:26Speaker 5: it would be a big win for him. It would
- 19:28Speaker 5: be an f you to me. This not only did
- 19:31Speaker 5: not only were we wrong quote unquote, but he took
- 19:33Speaker 5: our jobs.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, it's something that I've been screaming for, I
- 19:36Speaker 1: don't know, a decade. How can we get our podcasters
- 19:39Speaker 1: podcast downloads up? I don't know, Maybe interview a famous person,
- 19:43Speaker 1: be famous on a weekly basis like all these other podcasts.
- 19:48Speaker 3: We should interview Ben Stiller about his brand new documentary
- 19:53Speaker 3: about to drop.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Also, March is before man. Correct, that's how the damn
- 20:00Speaker 1: entertainment was. Shida, we gonna sit. He was like Shiday
- 20:09Speaker 1: and you know we don't do well.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Happy birthday too, somebody we were just nearby, Martin Lawrence.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he was a Joe Coy's star ceremonial and
- 20:20Speaker 3: he got all the praise from Joe.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he's pretty much the whole His whole speech.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Is about Martin. He's sixty one today, Bill Belichick. He
- 20:29Speaker 3: is Jordan Hudson's boyfriend, seventy four years old. John Cryer
- 20:35Speaker 3: from Two and a Half Men. He was ducky and
- 20:37Speaker 3: pretty and pink. Yeah, he's all bald and he's sixty one,
- 20:40Speaker 3: much like Martin Lawrence. Kareem Abdul Jabbar seventy nine.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I'm shocked because tall people do not live that long.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yeah. I went to college with Kareem Abdul Jabbar's daughter's
- 20:52Speaker 3: best friend. I'm like, what are you doing this weekend
- 20:56Speaker 3: hanging out with Habiba Lucky? Yeah, Lucky. It's basically like
- 21:01Speaker 3: I'm friends with him.
- 21:02Speaker 1: A chance. The rapper is thirty three. Today.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Your porno birthday is Scarlet Skies. Oh, today's birthday. Girl.
- 21:11Speaker 3: She served up more soft tacos than taco belly. She's
- 21:14Speaker 3: been in one hundred and eighty nine a wonderful adult films,
- 21:18Speaker 3: including Balls and Bruises. Nice, you'd like that one. Escape
- 21:22Speaker 3: from Camp Conversion Volume three. I can't support it. She
- 21:26Speaker 3: was in gorgeous Redheads having tense orgasms while scissoring. Oh
- 21:30Speaker 3: that was good, right, And of course everybody remembers this one.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I hope your penis has a good father's day. Yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 3: that is Scarlet Skies Today's porno birthday. She is twenty
- 21:43Speaker 3: nine years old, along with your celebrity birthdays and some
- 21:46Speaker 3: brand new documentary information for you.
- 21:49Speaker 1: This is.
- 21:53Speaker 3: All right, welcome back to the Woody Show. As we
- 21:55Speaker 3: mentioned earlier, Woody and Gina are traveling today, so we'll
- 21:58Speaker 3: be back tomorrow. Everybody else holding down the fort today.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Some follow up entertainment news. Taylor Swift and I bring
- 22:06Speaker 3: this up only because it's in the news that her
- 22:09Speaker 3: wedding dress is reportedly based on one of Elizabeth Taylor's
- 22:13Speaker 3: wedding dresses.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I saw that.
- 22:15Speaker 3: And the reason people are saying it's strange or silly
- 22:18Speaker 3: for Taylor to be doing this is because and I
- 22:21Speaker 3: don't know this about her. I don't know anything about her.
- 22:24Speaker 3: She's apparently very superstitious, right, And you got to consider
- 22:27Speaker 3: that Elizabeth Taylor was married eight times, so that's tailed marriages.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Why do that?
- 22:33Speaker 1: It goes with the latest album though, right, she has
- 22:36Speaker 1: a song called Elizabeth Taylor.
- 22:38Speaker 7: But still but still still for that to be your
- 22:41Speaker 7: wedding dress, I mean yeah, after she was married eight times,
- 22:44Speaker 7: the least successful person to ever be married.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Yeah, the most of the biggest failure when it comes
- 22:48Speaker 3: to marriage.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, but what's the sources, Like, who's actually saying?
- 22:52Speaker 1: I think people are just probably taking the album more amazing.
- 22:55Speaker 5: I think you Menaceras is a good point. A lot
- 22:57Speaker 5: of these like friends say or a source says, blah
- 22:58Speaker 5: blah blah being said.
- 23:01Speaker 3: But this is from verified facts dot com.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Like assuming it's correct. Yeah, I mean, honestly, who cares?
- 23:09Speaker 5: Quite frankly, of course, who as a woman do you like, oh,
- 23:12Speaker 5: you know one of the greatest actresses of all time? Like, well,
- 23:15Speaker 5: I don't you know, it's the curse thing if I
- 23:16Speaker 5: copy her wedding dress.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Well, being superstitious is silly and are r worded.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I do understand what you're saying.
- 23:21Speaker 3: And they're into Taylor Swift, so yeah, say no more.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I mean we're we're living in an amazing time where
- 23:27Speaker 3: that she is somehow a big deal.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I'm telling you that song listen to Fate of Ophelia. Dude, dude,
- 23:33Speaker 1: that song's a banger.
- 23:34Speaker 9: Man.
- 23:34Speaker 7: She has great songs.
- 23:35Speaker 4: She's a terrific songwriter.
- 23:38Speaker 3: A lot of people have great songs, but they're not
- 23:40Speaker 3: held to this Jesus.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Like I watched and fake rumors about what their wedding
- 23:44Speaker 5: dress is based on.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Great, that always happens, though there's always a psych.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I agree, pretend to be, but to this level, we
- 23:52Speaker 3: have not witnessed Michael Jackson in our lifetime. Well, he
- 23:55Speaker 3: had the stuff to back it up.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Taylor doesn't.
- 23:59Speaker 3: She got it. She's boring. That's it, plain and simple.
- 24:02Speaker 3: She's boring. We were talking about Henry Winkler for some
- 24:05Speaker 3: reason the other day. Now, in case you're interested, Henry Winkler,
- 24:08Speaker 3: who's eighty years old, apparently does a nude scene on
- 24:12Speaker 3: the Apple TV show Loot What's the Time?
- 24:16Speaker 1: On his site.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Also, Liam Gallagher says that he and brother Noel will
- 24:25Speaker 3: attend Oasis' Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction COO cool.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I didn't think they would even bother.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Yeah, they're on tour now. They've officially re sold out money.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Also, in some follow up entertainment news, Timothy Shalome he
- 24:39Speaker 3: was getting all that heat because he bagged on opera
- 24:42Speaker 3: and ballet. Apparently, Opera and ballet actually got helped out
- 24:47Speaker 3: by his hate because the head of London's Royal Ballet
- 24:51Speaker 3: and Opera says it resulted in an immediate boost in
- 24:54Speaker 3: ticket sales. All right, few to that, and then this
- 24:58Speaker 3: is interesting, Dave Ship is considering bringing back Chappelle's show.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Oh, that'd be awesome, would rule so hard. Here's the
- 25:06Speaker 1: thing is he already kind of did it when he
- 25:08Speaker 1: hosted SNL. Recently.
- 25:09Speaker 5: They brought back like the reboots of the Ashy Larry
- 25:12Speaker 5: and the Pimps and all that stuff, and the guy
- 25:15Speaker 5: with the bat in the back of the head.
- 25:17Speaker 1: So it'd just be another sketch show.
- 25:19Speaker 3: And it would be a sketch show. Yeah, like an
- 25:20Speaker 3: official quit the show. Famously, during filming of season three
- 25:25Speaker 3: and two thousand and five, walked away from fifty million
- 25:28Speaker 3: bugs from Comedy Sea. Pretty insane.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Crazy. This is.
- 25:36Speaker 3: And Woody and r are back with us live tomorrow today.
- 25:39Speaker 3: It's the rest of us hiding things down. Good morning, everybody,
- 25:44Speaker 3: Greg and Menace and Icca mask walking in. Sammy's here,
- 25:48Speaker 3: Morgan's here. Oh, Morgan, you posted a photo the other
- 25:51Speaker 3: day and I had kind of had an ababe moment.
- 25:53Speaker 3: It was it was your dog in your living room,
- 25:55Speaker 3: and I thought, oh, there's that rug that I gave Morgan.
- 25:58Speaker 1: It looks great.
- 26:00Speaker 3: It looks really not you have a nice place.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's really nice. Oh that's a TV I gave.
- 26:04Speaker 1: More know, their place is really really cool because I
- 26:09Speaker 1: went over to drop off that TV gave them and
- 26:12Speaker 1: I was like, it's in such a cool area too.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I don't know if you want to give it out,
- 26:16Speaker 1: but bring it up. It's surrounded by like awesome restaurants.
- 26:21Speaker 4: And neighbors are all great.
- 26:23Speaker 1: It's a really really cool area. I'm kind of jealous.
- 26:26Speaker 1: That was a moment.
- 26:27Speaker 6: Yeah, No, seriously, that's the nicest rug I've ever.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Is it tough though, with like legos and you know,
- 26:34Speaker 5: candy getting everywhere, because you.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Know that is all in his room. He keeps all
- 26:39Speaker 4: that crap in there.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Like in the food world they call that high low
- 26:42Speaker 3: where you make something that's like a hot dog that
- 26:44Speaker 3: you pair it with like lobster or whatever. So you've
- 26:47Speaker 3: got the high low thing in your house. Yes, nice rug,
- 26:50Speaker 3: nice TV.
- 26:51Speaker 1: But but is he like is he spilling barbecue sauce everywhere?
- 26:58Speaker 1: It's not that I'm aware of. Sound like a story.
- 27:03Speaker 3: We'll stay it for later this hour. We are going
- 27:05Speaker 3: to do I don't know if you call a redo
- 27:08Speaker 3: or a redemption, but blank or Die? Maybe me comeback today? Yes,
- 27:12Speaker 3: blanker Die.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Now I had log in or Die and I feel
- 27:15Speaker 1: like there's something there, and I go, I need to
- 27:18Speaker 1: rework this game. So I think I came out well,
- 27:20Speaker 1: I came up with a different version, and I would
- 27:23Speaker 1: like to try it today. And I want to keep
- 27:27Speaker 1: this thing going, I know, but I think I came
- 27:31Speaker 1: up with a new version that's gonna go really well.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Okay, good, it'll be more smooth. In the headlines, the
- 27:37Speaker 3: husband of that Michigan woman who disappeared in the Bahamas,
- 27:40Speaker 3: he has now left the Bahamas and went home. He
- 27:42Speaker 3: was detained in question for days before being released without charges,
- 27:46Speaker 3: and now his lawyer confirmed that he has left the Bahamas,
- 27:48Speaker 3: and his lawyer says it's because his mom is seriously ill.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Bahamas police had previously listed him as a suspect even
- 27:55Speaker 3: after releasing the guy, and cadaver dogs are now being
- 27:59Speaker 3: used to help with that arch and the couple were
- 28:01Speaker 3: experienced sailors who had been documenting their travels on social media.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Also a carnival cruise passenger.
- 28:08Speaker 1: What do you think of let's fill in the blank manager,
- 28:13Speaker 1: it's the new CEO. Yeah, I want to go with
- 28:19Speaker 1: U was caught with math? How about that you want
- 28:22Speaker 1: I mean too far?
- 28:24Speaker 3: Well, a little bit far. They're a little bit richer. Now,
- 28:27Speaker 3: three hundred thousand dollars got awarded to this passenger after
- 28:30Speaker 3: a jury found this that Carnival was partly responsible for.
- 28:34Speaker 5: What okay, over serving right, right right, and we're serving
- 28:39Speaker 5: a different a different customer.
- 28:41Speaker 1: So this is the back end of.
- 28:44Speaker 3: That's a lot of layers to the onion. They say
- 28:46Speaker 3: that she was overserved alcohol, got at least fourteen shot.
- 28:51Speaker 4: That's not too many.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Fourteen shots over the course of eight and a half hour. Yeah,
- 28:55Speaker 1: because I think you're cut off at thirteen drinks. Because
- 28:57Speaker 1: our friend Julianne who used to work on the show,
- 29:00Speaker 1: she's been cut off on Carnival.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I thought the magic number was fifteen and then you
- 29:04Speaker 3: have to wait un till midnight for it to restart.
- 29:07Speaker 5: By the way, like, how about them having that policy
- 29:09Speaker 5: because I was on I was on the Gronk cruise,
- 29:11Speaker 5: which was Norwegian, and I was keeping I had a
- 29:14Speaker 5: little like pen on my arm and I had like
- 29:17Speaker 5: in the course of a day, twenty No, but that's
- 29:21Speaker 5: how you do it. That was that was the Gronk
- 29:23Speaker 5: Cruise because that was intentional. That was like, okay, this
- 29:25Speaker 5: is the Gronk Cruise.
- 29:26Speaker 1: How many can I do? But again, this is Carnival.
- 29:29Speaker 3: This is Carnival. So she got fourteen shots over the
- 29:32Speaker 3: course of eight and a half hours, then later fell
- 29:35Speaker 3: down some stairs. Of course, suffered serious injuries, including a
- 29:39Speaker 3: possible traumatic brain injury.
- 29:42Speaker 1: So how would you tell?
- 29:44Speaker 3: The jury decided that the cruise line Carnival was negligent
- 29:48Speaker 3: for continuing to serve her while she was heavily intoxicated,
- 29:52Speaker 3: although they did also put some blame on this woman.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Carnival is now saying that they disagree with the verdict
- 29:58Speaker 3: and they planned to appeal it.
- 30:00Speaker 4: How do they keep track of your drinks?
- 30:01Speaker 1: Is it like you should you car? You use a car?
- 30:04Speaker 6: You can't come up with the disguise?
- 30:08Speaker 5: No, friend, have you not been on a cruise more?
- 30:14Speaker 6: I've never been on a cruise, and I want to
- 30:16Speaker 6: go on the bruise cruise that we talked about a
- 30:17Speaker 6: while ago. I found out it is Norwegian, which is like,
- 30:20Speaker 6: apparently they do.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I was like, Bruise cruise.
- 30:23Speaker 6: Oh, it's the fighting right, because you know another Carnival.
- 30:30Speaker 1: You don't you don't have. You don't get free drinks,
- 30:32Speaker 1: which that would bankrupt them. When you walk up.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Either either have a package you scan your card, which
- 30:38Speaker 5: I highly recommend right, or you're paying per drink, which
- 30:40Speaker 5: gets out of get that gets out of control real fast.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah. With that said, they have a ship that I
- 30:44Speaker 1: really want to get on called the Panorama that looks
- 30:47Speaker 1: pretty awesome.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And then you, if you do get the drink package, Morgan,
- 30:50Speaker 3: make sure you take advantage of it. Because I did
- 30:53Speaker 3: a cruise, the first cruise I ever did, I got
- 30:56Speaker 3: the drink package. Did not get one for Mario because
- 30:58Speaker 3: he barely drinks. So day one I said, you know,
- 31:00Speaker 3: what's screw it, let's get you the drink package. I
- 31:03Speaker 3: think I could be totally wrong. It was in the
- 31:05Speaker 3: neighborhood in nine hundred bucks for how many days? For
- 31:09Speaker 3: seven days?
- 31:11Speaker 1: That's too much. That's probably for like both of you.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Maybe that was both to be so anyway that he
- 31:16Speaker 3: barely drank, and it might have been better to just
- 31:19Speaker 3: pay buy the drink. But if you hit your maximum,
- 31:23Speaker 3: you have to wait till midnight to start that number.
- 31:25Speaker 3: You know, Greg was there looking at his watch. Yeah,
- 31:34Speaker 3: come on, I know who cares, can you cut me
- 31:36Speaker 3: a break? In other news, the CEO of United Airlines
- 31:40Speaker 3: has floated the idea of buying American Airlines and floated
- 31:44Speaker 3: that idea to the White House. It's now becoming public,
- 31:47Speaker 3: so if this went through, the combined airline would control
- 31:49Speaker 3: about forty percent of domestic US air capacity, by far
- 31:53Speaker 3: the biggest airline merger ever even attempted, and the White
- 31:57Speaker 3: House said it is aware of the idea but hasn't
- 31:59Speaker 3: taken a position on it, and aviation experts are skeptical
- 32:02Speaker 3: that it could ever even survive anti trust review. They
- 32:05Speaker 3: say it's potentially impossible to get that approved, but would
- 32:08Speaker 3: be huge.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Well, just approve it because the Dallas Dallas Fort Worth
- 32:13Speaker 1: airport food options are trash and that is the American hub.
- 32:17Speaker 1: So it's the American hub. I'm sure they have some say.
- 32:24Speaker 5: Well, menace, because I've been that's kind of They have
- 32:27Speaker 5: the builds, big central hubs in d f W.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean Dallas Love, Dude, Dallas Love airport food
- 32:34Speaker 1: options on fire, dude, Dallas Fort Worth sucks.
- 32:38Speaker 6: Well, just the airport in general, Love feels easier to access.
- 32:42Speaker 1: It's not as crazy, yeah, but better food options that's
- 32:45Speaker 1: all I can so, yeah, that's to bring that start.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Federal they understand if they merge, we'll have better food options.
- 32:54Speaker 1: At that airport. Yep, that's all I need in life.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Federal jury just ruled that Live Nation, along with Ticketmaster,
- 33:02Speaker 3: illegally monopolize the concert and ticketing market. They found that
- 33:05Speaker 3: the company used their dominance to shut out competitors and
- 33:09Speaker 3: keep ticket prices higher than they should be. And they
- 33:11Speaker 3: said it was about a dollar seventy two more per
- 33:14Speaker 3: ticket more like it? Yeah, damn yeah, how do they
- 33:21Speaker 3: come up with that math? Well, a judge is now
- 33:23Speaker 3: going to decide the penalties, which would force some major changes.
- 33:27Speaker 3: So basically what fans have been complaining about for years
- 33:29Speaker 3: just got validated in core.
- 33:31Speaker 1: What is this ruling from nineteen ninety three because this
- 33:34Speaker 1: has been going on. But then what's actually going to change? Well,
- 33:37Speaker 1: here's what we'll all get it.
- 33:38Speaker 5: You'll all get an email or something in the mail
- 33:40Speaker 5: saying you've been awarded a dollar forty five.
- 33:43Speaker 3: BUK seventy two credit for your next concert.
- 33:46Speaker 1: And then when you go online to buy a ticket again,
- 33:49Speaker 1: it's not going.
- 33:49Speaker 5: To be We've played this and look, I know we're
- 33:51Speaker 5: in bed with these people, so this is probably bad
- 33:53Speaker 5: for them.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Don't get hooked up with any ticket sow. I don't care.
- 33:56Speaker 5: We played this game where well, we'll go on to
- 33:59Speaker 5: some event that he knows coming up, and we'll play
- 34:01Speaker 5: a game in the studio off the air where we're like, okay,
- 34:03Speaker 5: guess how much the tickets are number one, and guess.
- 34:05Speaker 1: What the fee is going to be.
- 34:07Speaker 5: And it's always astronomical, you know, eight hundred dollars for
- 34:10Speaker 5: floor seats, and then and then the fees graduate with
- 34:14Speaker 5: that ticket price, so you're paying seventy five dollars for
- 34:18Speaker 5: you that you're doing seventy five dollars of service for
- 34:20Speaker 5: me stuff to get me that ticket, But the one
- 34:22Speaker 5: up in the upper deck.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Is and what are they doing for it?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 34:26Speaker 3: But yeah, nothing.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Well didn't that just became illegal in Vegas with all
- 34:30Speaker 1: the hotels and stuff like that. Well now it has
- 34:32Speaker 1: to be.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Straight up oh right as far because they bury those
- 34:35Speaker 5: resort fees and that's an extra fifty five dollars a
- 34:37Speaker 5: day that they don't show you until it's too late.
- 34:39Speaker 1: You've already booked it.
- 34:41Speaker 5: But I think to this, to this ticketmaster thing, it's
- 34:44Speaker 5: more about monopoly. So like the venue, whatever, the big
- 34:48Speaker 5: all the all the big arenas in town use Ticketmaster
- 34:51Speaker 5: Live Nation and that's just it.
- 34:53Speaker 1: And you have no options.
- 34:54Speaker 5: So if you want to go see whatever, Taylor Swift,
- 34:56Speaker 5: that's who you got to deal with.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Who cares and if you can't afford it, guess what
- 34:59Speaker 3: you're going.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the ultimate that's my.
- 35:02Speaker 3: My sympathies are. I can't drum him up right.
- 35:05Speaker 5: That's the ultimate thing is that if we, if we,
- 35:07Speaker 5: you know, the US Americans really want to fight against this,
- 35:11Speaker 5: we have to say no, I'm not going to a
- 35:13Speaker 5: football game or Taylor Swift concert.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Until I can't breathe. If I can't go to the
- 35:16Speaker 1: Taylor concert or coach or fill in the black.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a matter of life and death. We're gonna
- 35:22Speaker 3: end with some animal news and man in Lincoln, California,
- 35:24Speaker 3: legally owns a zebra named Zeus, and Zeus has gotten
- 35:29Speaker 3: out twice this week Jeu this week, Yeah, this week alone.
- 35:33Speaker 3: The first escape was during a storm last Friday, and
- 35:35Speaker 3: animal control tracked him down, kept him overnight, and staff
- 35:39Speaker 3: said that Zeus is really cooperative, really calm, just a
- 35:42Speaker 3: nice zebra They returned him home the next day, and
- 35:46Speaker 3: then this past Monday he got out again, and officials
- 35:49Speaker 3: think he keeps on escaping because he's still kind of
- 35:51Speaker 3: adjusting to his new environment.
- 35:53Speaker 9: Well.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Also, he bought one of those locks on Instagram that
- 35:58Speaker 1: you can pick the lock within thirty seconds.
- 36:00Speaker 3: So what was that thing called? We're just talking about that. Yeah,
- 36:03Speaker 3: this zebra was found watering around the road, walked himself
- 36:06Speaker 3: onto the trailer without any issues, so he kind of
- 36:08Speaker 3: knew what to do, got taken back home and nobody
- 36:11Speaker 3: got hurt.
- 36:13Speaker 4: You ever look at animals and you're like, you're a
- 36:15Speaker 4: human in there?
- 36:16Speaker 1: Yes, definitely one of my dogs. Dude, dog, My dog
- 36:20Speaker 1: has like human eyes. Yes, And I go, I know.
- 36:24Speaker 6: We have I know we're having some communication. Yes, Zeberg
- 36:27Speaker 6: gives me human vibes.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Human.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I never thought you're human in there, but like more
- 36:33Speaker 3: intelligent than we think.
- 36:34Speaker 6: When you go home and you look at your dog today,
- 36:37Speaker 6: are you human?
- 36:39Speaker 1: Conversation?
- 36:40Speaker 3: I am.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I was waiting for you to ask. I've been silent
- 36:43Speaker 1: this whole time.
- 36:45Speaker 3: I am convinced that my dog is the reincarnated version
- 36:48Speaker 3: of my former dog. I said, you're Rex, aren't you?
- 36:52Speaker 10: You?
- 36:53Speaker 1: And I love your dad. Until you're talking to I
- 36:59Speaker 1: just want to say, right, I'm concerned about your drinking.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Okay, So up next, I'm nervous, but we're gonna do it,
- 37:06Speaker 3: the Redemption of Menaces Blank or Die.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Yes, let's go.
- 37:11Speaker 3: We will go next on The Woody Show, The wood Show.
- 37:15Speaker 5: After these messages, I had more and they're over before hire.
- 37:23Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 37:27Speaker 3: We are back here on The Woody Show on a
- 37:28Speaker 3: throwback Thursday, and it's redemption time kind of Yeah, we've
- 37:34Speaker 3: got MENACE's game, Blank or Die?
- 37:36Speaker 1: Don't know what or die? Don't know what the blank is? Get? Well,
- 37:40Speaker 1: this time it's gonna be much different, all right, So
- 37:43Speaker 1: it's gonna be a competition. You are all gonna play
- 37:47Speaker 1: at the same time. Okay, alright, pit Now this time
- 37:52Speaker 1: it's called build it or Die. I need to build
- 38:00Speaker 1: and the first two people that complete their build they
- 38:04Speaker 1: will get bottles of champagne. The other the other two
- 38:10Speaker 1: people that do not complete it have to spin the
- 38:14Speaker 1: wheel of death. Okay, So now I have changed the
- 38:18Speaker 1: wheel of death per Seabass's recommendation that there I changed
- 38:24Speaker 1: one thing on the wheel and it says flip the script.
- 38:28Speaker 1: So if you land on flip the script. You can
- 38:31Speaker 1: take one of the winners champagne and make them spin
- 38:35Speaker 1: the wheel. Okay, so everybody pretty much gets the game.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Now if you did not hear the last time log
- 38:45Speaker 1: in our dive version, uh the on the wheel of Death,
- 38:49Speaker 1: we have the cinnamon scoop. We have the kim Chie
- 38:54Speaker 1: shot electrified, and the cocaine snort, which is actually a
- 39:02Speaker 1: hot sauce snort. Hot hot sauce store. Yeah, I could
- 39:07Speaker 1: do that too. All right, today we are gonna be
- 39:10Speaker 1: building legos. Now, this is oh no, super easy to do.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I think you should be able to do it within.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Don't open it yet.
- 39:21Speaker 5: All right, So this is I've got a Formula one lego.
- 39:25Speaker 5: It's a six plus set, twenty nine pieces.
- 39:30Speaker 1: He's super quick. I've done this one hundred times already.
- 39:32Speaker 1: I'm spinning the wheel. Okay, don't open it yet, Tyler,
- 39:35Speaker 1: I'm I'm just looking.
- 39:37Speaker 5: So now hold on, we got a professional lego meister
- 39:39Speaker 5: in here in the visage of Tyler.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Is he now? Tyler start? Now? Tyler is subbing in
- 39:47Speaker 1: for Morgan. Now he does know how to build legos,
- 39:51Speaker 1: but these are very very small legos, and he has
- 39:53Speaker 1: large and he has large hands. That is true, so
- 39:57Speaker 1: I think we still have a fair competition. Here. Are
- 40:00Speaker 1: you guys ready to play?
- 40:01Speaker 3: I guess so are there. I've never done a Lego set.
- 40:05Speaker 1: There is now I have to confirm that your build
- 40:10Speaker 1: is done correctly.
- 40:11Speaker 5: We can't just throw things together and say done. Yes,
- 40:14Speaker 5: that's a good caveat and look, menace. I think this
- 40:18Speaker 5: is a fun game. I'm just gonna say this as
- 40:20Speaker 5: as a point of observation as I used to know
- 40:23Speaker 5: a radio show that played that played black Check on
- 40:25Speaker 5: the air. Yeah, and that was that was tough. But
- 40:28Speaker 5: I don't know if Lego on the radio is the
- 40:29Speaker 5: most like Sea.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Beasts do do? I have to break down every single
- 40:33Speaker 1: one of your segments every single time. I said it
- 40:35Speaker 1: just as a point of I mean, I can do
- 40:38Speaker 1: that and not make it fun. I'm good, I mean,
- 40:41Speaker 1: but I decide to just play it long you do.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I prefaced it as a point of commentary, not not
- 40:46Speaker 1: a stopdown. Okay, all right, you did. So we're gonna
- 40:50Speaker 1: We're gonna play the game and set. The payoff is
- 40:53Speaker 1: the wheel of death, all right, So we're just gonna
- 40:55Speaker 1: get through this quickly. Unlet's keep on talking about it.
- 40:57Speaker 1: So here we go.
- 40:59Speaker 3: If you were to do this minutes, how long do
- 41:00Speaker 3: you think it?
- 41:01Speaker 1: It took me like two minutes. Yeah, it's super easy.
- 41:05Speaker 1: All right, guys, are you ready?
- 41:08Speaker 11: Now?
- 41:08Speaker 1: Let's hit the music. Be prepared to play Build or Die? Ready,
- 41:16Speaker 1: set go? All right? Oh my god. Tyler is struggling
- 41:21Speaker 1: to open his seas already dropped his pieces all over
- 41:26Speaker 1: the ground. Greg is trying to read the instructions. Sammy's
- 41:30Speaker 1: trying to read the instructions. She does have that bad eye,
- 41:32Speaker 1: not very good. We have Tyler already starting to build,
- 41:35Speaker 1: but he's shaking. We have Sea Bass ling everything out
- 41:38Speaker 1: like he's an engineer, which he is. There's so many
- 41:41Speaker 1: pieces we have, all right, Remember we only need two
- 41:45Speaker 1: people to complete it quickly, and they will win bottles
- 41:49Speaker 1: of champagne. If you are the two left, you're gonna
- 41:54Speaker 1: have to spin the wheel of death. Sammy's going pretty quickly.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Already we have I think I have one piece. We
- 42:04Speaker 1: have Tyler. Tyler's burning through it, already, burning through it
- 42:09Speaker 1: like an F one car. Yeah, Monica, okay, Now we
- 42:12Speaker 1: have Sea Bass. He's putting his tires together. Sammy's crushing
- 42:16Speaker 1: all of you guys already telling you right now.
- 42:19Speaker 5: That's what I didn't count with my snarky comment was
- 42:22Speaker 5: the great play by playing.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Yes, of course really hard now, Greg, I think he
- 42:28Speaker 1: has one piece done already. Are you even weak instructions? Yeah,
- 42:33Speaker 1: I can't even tell for twenty nine pieces. There are
- 42:38Speaker 1: three steps of instruction. So this is That's what I'm saying.
- 42:41Speaker 1: It's super easy. I think Sammy's gonna win. Sammy's almost
- 42:44Speaker 1: completely done, Sammy, What would you say? Is your your
- 42:47Speaker 1: secret for being so good at this? Small hands?
- 42:50Speaker 7: Probably and I like putting together like I kee furniture
- 42:53Speaker 7: and stuff.
- 42:53Speaker 4: You guys know that, but I do.
- 42:55Speaker 1: I hate that. It's the worst. I think Tyler is
- 42:58Speaker 1: probably in second place. Sea Bass even tell I don't
- 43:00Speaker 1: know what's going on with you, your engineer. You should
- 43:02Speaker 1: be able to complete this. Let me talk about I
- 43:05Speaker 1: got the red guy. Uh huh.
- 43:06Speaker 5: My only problem is he doesn't have any he doesn't
- 43:08Speaker 5: have a face, doesn't have eyeballs or no.
- 43:11Speaker 1: This is the the micro version, micro version. This leg
- 43:15Speaker 1: is already small. Yes, this is the micro version of
- 43:17Speaker 1: the cars. You should be able again complete this in
- 43:20Speaker 1: two seconds.
- 43:20Speaker 3: You know what's throwing off all the different colors on
- 43:24Speaker 3: the ong.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Is literally only put two pieces together. This guy totally
- 43:29Speaker 1: spittinge idiot.
- 43:31Speaker 3: All right, like, oh, they're showing a red piece and
- 43:34Speaker 3: then I got to find a black piece, which I
- 43:37Speaker 3: can't find.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Oh there's oh there's axles in running out of time, guys,
- 43:41Speaker 1: I think looking on it, I'm just gonna have to
- 43:45Speaker 1: call it. No, no, no, go ahead. I know if
- 43:49Speaker 1: we run out of time, I'm just gonna have this.
- 43:51Speaker 1: So if we do run out of time, because I
- 43:53Speaker 1: didn't realize you guys were this dumb.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Yes, clearly if we run out of time, menis would
- 43:58Speaker 5: it be judge's choice as to see how much you complete?
- 44:02Speaker 1: Said judge's choice or it's like a car right, yes,
- 44:07Speaker 1: missing against Sammy. It's almost done, Sammy.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Come on, I'm rooting for you.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Thank you, Tyler. I'm not talking about what are you
- 44:16Speaker 1: going to do with your What do you hope you
- 44:17Speaker 1: get on the wheel? That whe love death.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Kind of the kim Chie shot and that's that spicy
- 44:24Speaker 3: kim Chie minoso.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Yes, I think we just got chilli kim cheese.
- 44:27Speaker 3: There's one that I really are Are there supposed to
- 44:29Speaker 3: be extra pieces? Don't want that's yes, done.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Let me see, let me verify.
- 44:34Speaker 12: Crap.
- 44:35Speaker 1: How did you do it? Tyler? Tyler?
- 44:37Speaker 3: But he does have three.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Tyler, your car is complete. But no, hold on if
- 44:40Speaker 1: he has three extra pieces, he's no no, no, no, no.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Put if they put extra pieces in the box. That's
- 44:46Speaker 1: why you follow the instructions than you complete car.
- 44:49Speaker 3: You all right?
- 44:49Speaker 1: Now, who's going to be coming in second? I want
- 44:51Speaker 1: to see what are your extra pieces? Tyler showed him
- 44:53Speaker 1: to us. A small little like I've built like thirty
- 44:57Speaker 1: of these. There's a small little like se here's the thing.
- 45:00Speaker 1: This is just in case you lose one or two. Yeah.
- 45:03Speaker 1: I get what you're saying, but like, I also had
- 45:04Speaker 1: legos as a kid. That was a big leg kid. Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 1: but you're an old head, dude. They like legs nowadays.
- 45:10Speaker 5: They prepare for our words losing stuff these days. Yes,
- 45:13Speaker 5: And it looks like Sammy might be in second place.
- 45:18Speaker 1: So it is it just the four of us?
- 45:19Speaker 9: Then?
- 45:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just the three of you. Now I think
- 45:22Speaker 1: we're in trouble. Greg.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Yeah. Uh, I mean I feel like, you know how
- 45:28Speaker 3: stroke patients get physical therapy and they like to throw
- 45:31Speaker 3: them balls.
- 45:31Speaker 1: And I feel like that I can't lose it.
- 45:35Speaker 5: So there's that goes up, like I got the wheels,
- 45:37Speaker 5: I got the guy, I got the steering wheel. There's
- 45:39Speaker 5: this stuff on the back that they don't even like.
- 45:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the colors that are throwing the color.
- 45:46Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure you. I'm pretty me Verify also got
- 45:54Speaker 1: like missing loose pieces.
- 45:57Speaker 5: I'm calling, I'm questioning, and it's quality control that they
- 46:01Speaker 5: are supposed to be loose.
- 46:02Speaker 1: And then I knocked I knocked as parts off. Yea,
- 46:05Speaker 1: oh sorry, I knocked it off, but I did see it.
- 46:09Speaker 1: It was complete. Sammy, you are in second place. Good job.
- 46:13Speaker 5: Yeah, So Greg, hold on, do I get like, is
- 46:16Speaker 5: there a a not third or a fourth third?
- 46:20Speaker 1: So you're automatically third? Great, congrats, You're going to spin
- 46:25Speaker 1: the wheel of death?
- 46:26Speaker 3: All right?
- 46:26Speaker 1: All right, I get I get to spin first though,
- 46:28Speaker 1: because yeah, do we want to take a break or
- 46:30Speaker 1: do we want to spin the wheel? Let's take a
- 46:32Speaker 1: break because I got to compose myself. I'm nervous. Alright,
- 46:37Speaker 1: coming up next, we're gonna be spinning the wheel of death.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Greg Gory and Sea bas this it's a show, all right.
- 46:47Speaker 3: I gotta spind some wheel of death. Here, dude, Legos
- 46:52Speaker 3: are hard.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Legos are Lego. It's the Woody Show, by the way. Yeah,
- 46:57Speaker 1: oh hi, Hi, the Woody and Gina are going to
- 47:01Speaker 1: be back tomorrow. But Sea Best you have a question,
- 47:04Speaker 1: So if you're just tuning in right now, we displayed
- 47:07Speaker 1: another version of uh something or Die, and this version
- 47:12Speaker 1: was Builder or Die, and we had everybody in the
- 47:15Speaker 1: room build some F one Legos and we had two
- 47:17Speaker 1: winners and two losers, and the two losers now have
- 47:21Speaker 1: to spin the wheel of death and the two losers
- 47:23Speaker 1: will be Great Gory and Sea Bass.
- 47:26Speaker 5: But Seabas, you have a twenty nine piece F one kids.
- 47:29Speaker 5: So we had several people texting and repeating what you said, man,
- 47:32Speaker 5: is that modern Lego sets do have extra pieces built in.
- 47:35Speaker 5: And I could certainly see that for maybe those giant
- 47:38Speaker 5: Star Wars things or whatever that they would tell you that.
- 47:41Speaker 5: And as I look around the room, Sammy used all
- 47:43Speaker 5: her pieces. I used all my pieces. There are no
- 47:46Speaker 5: extra pieces here.
- 47:47Speaker 1: No, Samy did have extra pieces. Where are they? I
- 47:51Speaker 1: put them in the box? Tyler has no problem. Yeah
- 47:54Speaker 1: you did. So you did open your box and they
- 47:58Speaker 1: exploded all over the floor. So it might be everywhere.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Uh huh oh yeah, I built had extra pieces too, So.
- 48:05Speaker 5: I'm I'm I'm all abide by the judges ruling.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I think you don't have to spend now, okay, for
- 48:12Speaker 1: the fun of the game, I'm gonna play a lot
- 48:15Speaker 1: highly debate. There are extra pieces. Thing, well, while you
- 48:18Speaker 1: go verify and do your investigation as the third place
- 48:24Speaker 1: first and I'm third place right, yes, let's do it
- 48:27Speaker 1: all right, Well, Sea Bass is going to walk to
- 48:29Speaker 1: the other side of the room. Just a reminder of
- 48:32Speaker 1: what is on the wheel of death. On the wheel
- 48:34Speaker 1: of death, we have the kim the kim Chie shot.
- 48:37Speaker 1: We have the cinnamon scoop. We have the hot Sauce
- 48:42Speaker 1: Nos Cocaine where you're gonna have to snort hot sauce
- 48:44Speaker 1: like it's cocaine. We have Electrified, and then we have
- 48:48Speaker 1: a new thing on the wheel where it's called flip
- 48:50Speaker 1: the script. Where if you land on flip the script,
- 48:52Speaker 1: Sea Bass can actually take a bottle away from Champagne,
- 48:56Speaker 1: away from Sammy or Tyler and have them spin the
- 49:00Speaker 1: wheel of the challenge. Should we discussed the brand of
- 49:02Speaker 1: champagne we have? We do have what you got there.
- 49:05Speaker 1: This is a how do you pronounce it like some people?
- 49:15Speaker 1: Is pre supplied cut off coke straws, Yes, I have,
- 49:19Speaker 1: I've come prepared. All right, Sea Bass, let's do the wheel?
- 49:22Speaker 1: Are you ready to do the wheel of death?
- 49:24Speaker 3: There we go? All right?
- 49:27Speaker 1: Which one? Do you not want to do?
- 49:28Speaker 3: The Sea bass?
- 49:30Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Sea Bass? It was pretty damn loud.
- 49:34Speaker 5: I would hope for the shot, I guess because I
- 49:39Speaker 5: don't want to put anything in my nose, and we
- 49:45Speaker 5: that's what happens.
- 49:47Speaker 1: That's what happens when you hope. Yeah, so you got
- 49:50Speaker 1: the cocaine hot sauce, now, got it? I'm getting played
- 49:53Speaker 1: over here, gonna get rid of the extra coket.
- 49:56Speaker 3: I did a bunch of straw in case we all
- 49:58Speaker 3: had to do coke.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Six of us wanted to put okay and no, that's
- 50:02Speaker 1: the kimchi. Now the hot sauce, Yeah, the hot sauce,
- 50:06Speaker 1: Devil's Canyon hot sauce in Morgan zero calories.
- 50:13Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna put a line. Obviously we're all on
- 50:21Speaker 5: a kind of you know, hot sauce is liquid.
- 50:23Speaker 1: It comes out and blobs, not lying. It's not meant
- 50:25Speaker 1: to be sorted. Yeah, all right, I'll do my.
- 50:27Speaker 5: Best to with a spoon here, a regular spoon til
- 50:30Speaker 5: you get this in a line.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Okay, he's long.
- 50:33Speaker 3: It's like there's a face.
- 50:36Speaker 7: Does anyone have a credit card?
- 50:37Speaker 5: It's a you know, I'm gonna get a taste for us,
- 50:39Speaker 5: just to get it, because it's it's like it's a
- 50:40Speaker 5: light middle medium orange like a hooter's color. Tastes very,
- 50:47Speaker 5: it's very it's a vinegar base. I would say, as
- 50:50Speaker 5: far as hot sauces go, it's not awful. I'd say
- 50:52Speaker 5: it's in the like it's it'd be a good wing sauce,
- 50:55Speaker 5: but it's in like the three to four heat out
- 50:57Speaker 5: of ten.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Maybe okay, but it can't cannot be good for well.
- 51:01Speaker 1: I did it once on another radio show, Like I said,
- 51:05Speaker 1: I've done all these challenges before and my no started bleeding.
- 51:08Speaker 3: So but you also did the shock one, but we
- 51:12Speaker 3: had a twist where we did it on your scroll.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Yeah. I won't make you do that, Sammy yet. I've
- 51:20Speaker 1: never done cocaine. I've been around it a lot.
- 51:23Speaker 5: It's funny when you if I install for a moment,
- 51:25Speaker 5: when you're right, when you run cocaine, people you don't.
- 51:28Speaker 1: They don't like ask you to do it. It's not
- 51:30Speaker 1: like because it's they want to hoard it.
- 51:32Speaker 5: It's yeah, yeah, I'm like with a joint, Like, hey man,
- 51:35Speaker 5: you have to kind of push your way in, so
- 51:38Speaker 5: like you don't just become a cocaine person. You kind
- 51:40Speaker 5: of have unless you're a girl like people trying to
- 51:42Speaker 5: have sex with you.
- 51:43Speaker 1: All right, here we go, you ready we go?
- 51:47Speaker 3: Right now?
- 51:48Speaker 1: Okay, here we go?
- 51:49Speaker 3: Should I think you have to plug one? Nos?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Right, I try to hold it up by the mics.
- 51:53Speaker 1: There you go. Notice there we go about to do
- 51:58Speaker 1: a line of hot sauce. Oh, the show is just
- 52:06Speaker 1: watching it, you know the line? Yeah, well I don't know.
- 52:11Speaker 1: I think there's a bunch of in this. Uh.
- 52:15Speaker 5: The bad part about it, yeah, is you start to
- 52:22Speaker 5: you start to get the the aroma they off gassing of.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Hot actually tastes really yeah, not your nose though. Okay,
- 52:30Speaker 1: good well Greg? Up next I'm not bleeding and okay,
- 52:33Speaker 1: good all right?
- 52:34Speaker 13: Greg?
- 52:35Speaker 1: Well there's the water there for you sea bass for
- 52:36Speaker 1: my notes. Because we had pieces I thought we didn't
- 52:39Speaker 1: have to spend. Noah came in very very last. You
- 52:43Speaker 1: only put like two pieces together. So Greg, are you
- 52:46Speaker 1: ready to spind the wheel.
- 52:48Speaker 3: No, but yes, all right, I'm praying for what is
- 52:51Speaker 3: it called past the Oh yeah, yeah. Slip the script.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Flip the script. Okay, here we go, ready crossed. Oh my,
- 52:59Speaker 1: god of death, wheel of death. Simon scoop the wheels.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Such a happy thing. Now it's torture.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 53:11Speaker 3: Come on, flip the script on, Sammy, come on, come on.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on, hold on, Now, Greg, you do
- 53:26Speaker 1: have a decision. Do you want to flip the script
- 53:30Speaker 1: on Tyler or Sammy? You will be taking one of
- 53:33Speaker 1: their bottles of champagne and having them.
- 53:37Speaker 4: Yeah, why did you yell?
- 53:38Speaker 1: Minding? Keep in mind, keep in mind I built your car.
- 53:43Speaker 3: He did.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Didn't help you any I.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Was trying to win. Sorry, oh man, I'm glad I
- 53:53Speaker 3: got flipped the script. But now I gotta be a
- 53:55Speaker 3: total dick. Let's see, let's go with.
- 54:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry Tyler, remember this, Come on, you support this,
- 54:12Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Is this because you have to sit in the room
- 54:17Speaker 1: with Sammy and she's been so extra helpful, La, she
- 54:21Speaker 1: loves champagne. She does love then know what I was like?
- 54:25Speaker 1: And Tyler didn't even pronounce the champagne back.
- 54:28Speaker 3: It's not too loco, funny, a little too hard, you're
- 54:34Speaker 3: just too muscular, all right.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Real of death, cinnamon scoot, come on, come on, all right,
- 54:44Speaker 1: all right, all right, all.
- 54:46Speaker 14: Right, oh electrified, Yeah, all right.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Let me say so, this is.
- 54:54Speaker 5: One of those games these were big, big, real popular
- 54:57Speaker 5: a number of years ago, where you like, I'll hold
- 54:58Speaker 5: you hold onto the thing, and it's supposed to be
- 55:00Speaker 5: like it's either a timer and it randomly electrocutes somebody,
- 55:03Speaker 5: or it's say, quote lie detector, which does not work.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I said it off, so early, hands on it.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I'm leaving it off. It just has to play.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Through, okay. Yeah, this is the one where you don't
- 55:15Speaker 3: know when it's gonna happen.
- 55:16Speaker 5: So it's like a it's like a Russian roulette for
- 55:19Speaker 5: getting your hand electrocuted.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Right, sorry. And then in the past, like I mentioned,
- 55:23Speaker 3: we we taped it to menaces bright.
- 55:28Speaker 1: All right, all right, so he's got to put his
- 55:30Speaker 1: hands on and put your fingers on the button on
- 55:34Speaker 1: these funds. Yeah, I'm scared you guys. Ready, Ready, don't tyler,
- 55:39Speaker 1: don't let go. We're trying to swear I'm ready. This
- 55:48Speaker 1: is probably the easiest of the challenge. It's not fun though.
- 55:51Speaker 3: It's not fun.
- 55:52Speaker 1: No, it doesn't feel good. It's fun for us. Yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 1: you're ready. Wow, that's a long one. You can go.
- 56:01Speaker 1: You got it all right? Did the game break? You
- 56:10Speaker 1: have to hold do it again? Do it again? You
- 56:13Speaker 1: dropped them? Do I have to do it? Dropped him
- 56:15Speaker 1: immediately a full shock.
- 56:17Speaker 5: It again to flinching territory, which I would think with electrocution,
- 56:23Speaker 5: you can't drop it because it should electrify your your
- 56:25Speaker 5: hands closed.
- 56:26Speaker 1: One more time. Here we go.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Hopefully it's just as long. So in the game four,
- 56:35Speaker 3: here we go.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Yes, it's a good gurgling sound.
- 56:44Speaker 14: And then.
- 56:46Speaker 3: Tyler, I forgot.
- 56:47Speaker 1: To take a champa. Oh yeah, and you get a champagne.
- 56:49Speaker 5: I'll keep it this forgetting a bright red you know
- 56:54Speaker 5: anybody you could share that champagne with Tyler.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I will keep it for myself.
- 56:59Speaker 3: Literally of some flowers have a little sitting.
- 57:04Speaker 1: My hands are still tingling. Good job, manag I did
- 57:08Speaker 1: go build it or die.
- 57:09Speaker 3: It was good build it or die work in progress.
- 57:13Speaker 1: I consistently set the standards excellence on everything. Congratulation.
- 57:17Speaker 14: I supported a colleague's growth by sharing feedback and mentoring
- 57:21Speaker 14: them informally contributing to our value of continuous learning and development.
- 57:26Speaker 1: You are a hero, the hero.
- 57:29Speaker 3: It is your Thursday Morning Woody Show, April to sixteenth.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Hopefully you got your taxes done by that midnight deadline.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Been having them done, been having them done.
- 57:38Speaker 6: To my tax lady at eleven thirty last night, I
- 57:43Speaker 6: used what, I won't do that ever again.
- 57:45Speaker 1: I go to the H and R Block in North Hollywood,
- 57:47Speaker 1: shout out that nice h and been going there for
- 57:50Speaker 1: like ten years, wood Hills. What what? What? What?
- 57:54Speaker 13: What?
- 57:54Speaker 3: It is the Woody Show, Good morning. Everybody's here except
- 57:57Speaker 3: for Woody and Gina. They're on their way to Baton
- 57:59Speaker 3: Roote some business. Still be back with us live tomorrow,
- 58:02Speaker 3: live from a hotel room. I want to give you
- 58:07Speaker 3: our phone number first of all, eight seven seven forty four, Woody,
- 58:09Speaker 3: our text line two two nine eight seven if you
- 58:11Speaker 3: want to weigh in on a throwback Thursday topic. I
- 58:14Speaker 3: saw this pop up here and there. I recently mentioned
- 58:17Speaker 3: that I thought, when I was a teenager that Benson
- 58:20Speaker 3: and Hedges cigarettes were the ultimate and fancy so fancy,
- 58:24Speaker 3: and you you opted a notch if you kept your
- 58:27Speaker 3: Benson and Hedges in a glass box. Man was that
- 58:30Speaker 3: just the ultimate and fanciness.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Can you explain the look of the bench because those
- 58:35Speaker 1: are the super skinny ones, right, you know those are Caprice,
- 58:38Speaker 1: Oh Caprie. Sorry, yeah, Benson and Hedges were they were
- 58:40Speaker 1: long and they were the white filter with like a
- 58:43Speaker 1: gold band. Well maybe just a name Benson hedges, Benson
- 58:47Speaker 1: in the hedges.
- 58:48Speaker 3: It just sounds firm. And my aunt had Benson and
- 58:51Speaker 3: Hedges and she kept them in a glass box. And
- 58:53Speaker 3: as she's talking to you, she just opened the glass
- 58:55Speaker 3: box and take out of Benson hedges. She had one
- 58:57Speaker 3: of those like crystal lighters, like the big heavy lighters.
- 59:01Speaker 3: It was just so fancy.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:03Speaker 3: And uh the other day too, I was looking at
- 59:05Speaker 3: our texts to ninety seven by the way, and people
- 59:08Speaker 3: were texting Booker and Striker about Oh I thought Olive
- 59:10Speaker 3: Garden was fancy, and I thought this was so that
- 59:12Speaker 3: kind of spurned that topic. What did you think was
- 59:14Speaker 3: fancy when you were a kid, and then you realize
- 59:17Speaker 3: that fancy.
- 59:18Speaker 1: I made a longe. I mean, I mean, I'm a
- 59:22Speaker 1: child of the eighties, and so I thought like gray
- 59:27Speaker 1: poupon was like the I mean, you don't get that
- 59:31Speaker 1: in a regular store.
- 59:32Speaker 5: And that's not that's what they That was the whole
- 59:34Speaker 5: I mean, it was joke advertisement, but still that's.
- 59:37Speaker 1: What a child talk. You don't understand that it's a joke.
- 59:41Speaker 1: You're like, oh, these guys are like in fancy cars
- 59:44Speaker 1: and they're trying this high end mustard in a French name.
- 59:47Speaker 1: You're in a rolls Royce and they're getting yea poupon.
- 59:50Speaker 1: They're like, oh damn.
- 59:51Speaker 3: That was when I first wan that some cars have
- 59:54Speaker 3: like airplane fold down tables, Like, that's really nice, fancy.
- 59:59Speaker 3: I thought going to Sizzler was fancy. Anybody that had
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: a salad bar? I thought, whoa go back? Like I
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: couldn't even fathom the concept of all you can eat?
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: You could go back more? That was that was a
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: night out. Yeah, it's a Sizzler.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: If you're new to the show, Hi, my name's Menace.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: And when I was a kid, and I'll go to
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Sizzler and go to that salad bar all you can eat,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I would throw up in the parking lot after.
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: He loved it eating so much. Yeah, and he can't control,
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: control and control the animal.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: You eat so much and then you're like, well, there's
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: the ice cream bar. You got to take advantage of it,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: and then the ice cream would push me over the edge.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure, I thought, Well, I thought people who
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: had a pool membership was it was very even if
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: it was like the public pool, it was you know,
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: three dollars a month or.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Whatever, anything that you belonged to, right, yeah, right, Like
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: to me that was a country club, even though one
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: my friends had one.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: We go there and then like, like I drive by
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: it later as an adult be like, oh, that that
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: dump was a membership was so nice because I'm sure
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: some people thought we were fancy because we were literally
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: the only we were the only house in the entire
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: neighborhood that Nashville just doesn't have pools that had a pool.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: It wasn't above ground pool, of course. And and it.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Was loose in the yard, not built, not built into
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: any kind of deck.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Okay, and and off. And for the first few.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: Years that it was up, we had no fence around it,
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: so it was just loose in the Sideyardol.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Damn. Oh. Another thing that your house had that I
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: think you shared before that I thought was fancy. Did
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you have like a vacuum system we had in all of.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: The trendy in house things, and they were built I
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: think by hand by my parents to the extent that
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: they did. We had the in house vacuum cleaner, the
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: central air vack I what we called it central VAK
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: or something, and so folks don't know what that was.
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: It's a giant, essentially fifty five gallon drum you put
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: in your basement that has the vacuum motor on it,
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: and then you very conveniently run piping through your house
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: PVC piping to you know, as many rooms as you
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: can get it too, because that's where because because you're
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: not lugging a big, heavy vacuum, you're lugging hoses thirty
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: foot of hose, you know, two or three inch hose
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: and the way that and by the way, this is
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: a terrible idea and as I nobody has them anymore,
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: but it was a terrible idea when you have small
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: children because the because the vacuum starts as soon as
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: you've opened the flap that has a little.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Hose connection to it.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: So you put stuff in there and guess what kids
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: throw down there, anything and everything they can get their
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: hands on, which then you have to go down to
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: the basement to retrieve open the giant fifty five gallon
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: drum that a kid can weird, thought so dumb or
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: the idea being that, like, Okay, if you're an old
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: lady or you're a busy housewife, yeah you're not lugging
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: around a vacuum plator.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: But again, the hose was insanely yeah right now. I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: will say this though, if I went to your house
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and saw that, I'm like, oh man, they're rich. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: we had that, and we had the intercom, which is.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: All calm systems. I thought those were like ultimately in.
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: The days before wireless ring doorbells. Yeah, again, it's the
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: other thing you had to do hard wire into your
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: house that sucked. I'm sure they didn't do that, but yeah,
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: but my mom used because she liked to yell at
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: kids from her.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Bedroom down to this you know, shut.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: Ups, yeah that.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Hey, stop it, stop it over, you're low key ridgely.
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: Here's the thing is, it's weird because I asked my
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: parents about that, and they we would we went to
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: I bought all my clothes from Salvation Army or sowed
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: at home.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Well, they had to pay for the vacuums.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: You mentioned belonging to a pool or belonging to, you know,
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: some sort of club I have because my other aunt
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: was a member of the Balboa Bay Club. So on
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: my things that I thought were fancy. Just the words
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: Harbor and Balboa, Oh for sure. When I was a
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: kid and I heard the word harbor, Oh, where's the
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: Balboa Bay Club? Oh, it's a Newport Harbor, I was like,
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: oh my god, you go down to Newport Harbor, the Balboa.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Just the words Newport and Balboa, pinnacle.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Of And you said you didn't know you were gay?
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Then great, Oh I knew.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: I just hit it. Convertibles I thought were fancy. Now
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: I think they're totally not.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: Why don't you think they're fancy Now?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I think they're kind of cumbersome pain the day.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: Yeah, but it's fun to rent one when you're out
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: of town. You're like, I'm going to be fancy and
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: rent a convertible.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I did drive a really cool one once though, because
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: the other morning show I used to work on the
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: the the host he had this one convertible. It was
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: like a V twelve, like Mercedes or whatever. And when
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I went on the freeway, if you hit a certain speed,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: a roll bar would like come up over you. It
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: was bad. I I know, that's what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I don't care if you flip at a lower speed. Yeah,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: but if you're going super fast, we got this roll bar.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: It was a badass.
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: Anytime you drive in one, they're just loud. Say with
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: jeeps with you know, topsy take off the they just
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: suck their loud and windy.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Yeah, mess up your hair. Yeah, that's the worse along
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: the car line. And I saw this interesting thing online
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: the other day. I on my list of things that
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: I thought were fancy as a kid, cars that were silver,
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: because when I was growing up kid of the eighties, right,
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: cars were red, yellow, blue. You didn't see a lot
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: of silver cars. And now I saw this thing too,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: how modern life, the way we know life now has
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: become a lot less colorful.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Yes, I saw that too. Isn't that weird?
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: Yeah, restaurants are less colorful, cars are less colorful. And
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: so when I saw a silver car, it stood out
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: to me and I thought, ooh, silver, that's nice.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: That's why you love the stainless steel cyber truck bag too.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: I thought briefcases were fancy.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: And what they are actually along those lines. When I
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: was a kid, I thought suitcases were fancy because as
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: a kid, you just have like a Duffel bag or
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: some random bag that you use it. When someone like
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: has a suitcase, you're like, oh, and it has wheels.
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: Luxury now that every kid has their own suitcase, which
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: what didn't exist when we were kids? And and how
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: did no one figure out you could put wheels on
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: suitcases until like ninety nine?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Look at this.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: I know the first suitcase that my dad had was
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: one of those hard suitcases and it didn't have wheels. Well,
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: it did have two wheels on the back, but it
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: had a long string like a pole strap, and so
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: you go three feet and it would topple over. So stupid. Morgan,
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: tell me if you think this is fancy even on
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: today's standards, because I think it's fancy on today's standards.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: A refrigerator in the garage, Oh yeah, I.
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: Mean that's just a sign of like I got money,
- 1:06:39Speaker 6: like I got.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: We have so much food. We have extra food, and
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: on top of that, we have an extra appliance for it.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: Right, and we use it mostly for beverages.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I would frozen meat, I mean, I would think wealth
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: like Morgan, but I wouldn't think it was fancy. I
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: think it would be kind of like, oh, you're yeah,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: you eat too much?
- 1:06:56Speaker 4: Well, also have a garage which is on a fancy.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Another building in your house.
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: I would always get jealous because we would go to
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: family friends' houses and we were the only people that
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: didn't have the refrigerator in the garage. And so he's like, oh,
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: I want to get a root beer. Oh you know
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: where they are out in the garage and you opened
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: it and it was nothing but beverages.
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: Oh damn millionaires, also along the lines with drinks soda
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: and a glass bottle.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Super fancy.
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: The only place I got that was at the bell
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Meade Cafeteria buffet, which is actually kind of a fancy place.
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: But they had like I was shast, not shasted, but
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: like cheerwine and a glass bottle, and I thought.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Oh cheerwine. Hell yeah. Now oh speaking of now, Greg,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: this is my been during your time was like orange
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: is like super expensive at restaurants because my dad sat
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: My dad said that he got screamed at by his
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: parents because he ordered some orange juice and it was
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: like ten cents at the time or something like that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Even when I was carrying orange juice at the.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Restaurant, tiny orange juice back in the eighties was like
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: four box or three box. It was insanely expensive. Yeah,
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: I think I don't know any drink with a cherry
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: in it, like Shirley Temple. Yes, that was super fan.
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: Mine so dumb. When I was a kid, I would
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: like my cousin Kelly. She was much older and she
- 1:08:19Speaker 6: always wore the big gold hoop earrings. Looking back now,
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: yet I get it right. As a kid when I
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: saw girls with the big hoops, I was like, she's
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: so fancy and professional.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: I want to wear those someday.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: On a similar but like also extremely sad. Note this
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: text from seven oh two families with both parents fancy,
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: which is true kind of rare. It does that tracks
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: with uh, you know incoms, you're not a bunch of
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: trashy you know losers seven two uncontrollable.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Oh my god. Above ground jacuzzis from the six to six.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I think I say, even above ground is I
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: get it, above grounds trashy, But any kind of jacuzzi
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: or hot tub is still semi fancy.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Oh to this day is fancy.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I did think people that had direct TV were fancy,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: like if you had oh, cable on, yeah, like if
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: you had a satellite over all, right, you know, just
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: cable in general, but like if you had a satellite
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: over cable like oh damn, like HBO.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: Oh my god, that meant you were the kid of
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: the richest person in school.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: Because didn't They used to have a special like box
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: or something or hook up for that or something like that.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: I recall like some sort of beige colored box with
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: all the channels listed and then you could go to
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: HBO on that and that's.
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: That's why hotels you can still see these signs somewhere
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: have you know, free HBO and Neon on them?
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Okay, cool? I guess on my phone.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Something else that I thought was fancy that today I
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: would hate to have a flocked Christmas tree.
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: Like the ones.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Yeah, they look like that fake snow, fake snow.
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: In the six especially the seventies, that was a sign
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: of like, oh check out this cool new thing.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Right, also different colors, but fancy people would have them though,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: I think so.
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: I think it's one of those things that, like it was,
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: it's trashy now, but at the time it was new
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: and cost money.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, maybe it was my Benson and Hedges aunt
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: that had the flocked Christmas tree.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: In retrospect, Benson and Hedges are from England, are they?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: It's automatically fancy English fancy? Is your aunt single? She's
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: no longer with us? A good point.
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: Yeah, England used to be like super fancy. It still
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: is to a point, but now like there's so many
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: like I think they've adopted so much of our culture
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: that blocked this and you're a dell talk in real
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: life like they used to be fancy.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: I have a couple more things on my list, which
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: we'll get to next. One of them is another word play,
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: like I thought Newport and Balboa, there's one.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: That I thought was so fancy.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: I didn't know what it meant. It's so stupid. And
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: you thought Newport and Balboa was gay? Wait until you
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: hear that one show the.
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: Minute also in the news sources saying there's a possibility
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: of Woody's hemorrhoids being.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Back on this development and give you the latest updates
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: One available place now more of the Woodie Show.
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Woody Show. Woody and Gina both
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: live with us tomorrow morning. And the meantime, the rest
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: of us are hanging out and we're talking about things
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: that you thought were fancy when you were a kid,
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: and you can text us yours at two two nine
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: eighty seven, a lot of texts coming through for something
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: I don't even remember existing Viaetta ice cream?
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Remember that, Yeah I do.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: I remember.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: It's only because I worked at a Okay, yeah, this
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: is the one that has like the little ripples on
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: the top. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I worked at a grocery
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: store and yeah, it was widely popular for a minute. Yeah,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I remember that.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: I remember this, Yeah, little ripple and it's sort of
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: like a that's not a trifle, but whatever those layered
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: desserts are with like ripple and a cracker.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: Between a trifle.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: It kind of looked like a la.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Oh really, yes, I gotta find that. I wonder if
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: they still.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: Make They still do apparently, Oh okay, I'm looking at yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: so fancy.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: I remember a brand of ice cream called Frusian Glaujia.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: Oh that was the That was the answer to Hoganda's Yes,
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: and apparently it's a nonsense word. It just was supposed
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: to sound Nordic. Or something like that, and it came
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: in a white plastic container and it was very fancy.
- 1:12:33Speaker 5: Searching Vienetta the first thing. What happened to Vienetta used
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: to feel like the height of luxury.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: It was.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: There was a text here for crystal chandeliers, getting water
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: delivered to your house like sparklets.
- 1:12:45Speaker 5: Oh yeah, people, you gotta realize if you were born
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: in the you know, in the past twenty thirty years,
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: people didn't used to always just drink water out of
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: plastic bottles. That used to not be a thing, right,
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: It was unusual if you had to have that in
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: your house, right.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: And then is that one water delivery truck. I don't
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: know if it was sparklets, but they had little like
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: beads hanging from it to make it shiny.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you're talking about not arrow head. I know,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: it is like a blue one like yeah, And if
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: you went up to it, you realized it was actually
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: like hanging little.
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: Pieces of metal along the lines of that and water.
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: People who had the fridge with the where you could
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: get the ice out of the front or water, I
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: think I'll have crushed dice.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: So fancy. The guys are so rich.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: Another text said the dixie cup dispenser in the bathroom.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Right, you know I could see that. Yeah.
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: Well I still the gyms that have that today, I
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: still think are fancy that have mouth washing.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: This one, I think is the ultimate. Used to think
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: it was fancy, Now it's trash, says waterbeds water you
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: were so cool.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I did think it was like fancy, like, oh, these
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: people are like freaks, sex freaks. They're so bordering sexual
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: right now, I really I realized parents did. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: that's why they got five kids.
- 1:14:10Speaker 7: Yeah, my parents had four kids, best, both of our parents.
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: Ye see, they have the little fishies in them. I
- 1:14:17Speaker 6: had a friend that like, I know it sounds so stupid,
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: but there was like.
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: Toy fish in the bed.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Was it clear?
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: Yeah, well you could see on the side, not on
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: the top of the side, you would. Yeah, that's I
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: don't know, but.
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: I remember when my parents got rid of their waterbed
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: and they were on the second floor.
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: We had to bring a.
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: Hose all the way up into the bedroom from the
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: outside to get rid of the.
- 1:14:38Speaker 5: Water because you had to clean it out or change
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: out your water every whatever two years or something. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: that was you'd run it through the way which the gates.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: The whole fancy had dark house comes through you up
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: stairs window.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: I stayed at a relative's house.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: They had the water bed and the heater wasn't working
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: and they didn't realize it. So I slept in this bed.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: I was never sicker in my life. I got the
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: it got so ill from sleeping in this ice cold waterbed.
- 1:15:04Speaker 14: It.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Yeah, shouldn't be the same temperature as well?
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: Do you have to heat it? I told you Newport
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: and Balboa, the words are fancy, the term visa V.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: I thought, if.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: You that term, oh.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: My god, you're a person.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Do you know what's so fancy is? Now they have
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: American Express Platinum. But when people had the American Express
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Gold card, oh my god, were you Bill Gates or
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: something like that? Do you remember like the gold card was?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Was the card second?
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Yeah? And now it goes up to what the black
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: card is? The black card? Remember diners Club? I thought
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: that was pretty fancy. It was like one of the
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: og credit cards.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: They had commercials with an man or somebody.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: I thought, if you're if your first name was James, O,
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: my god, you're.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Isn't that what young gay gentlemen do? Like they they'll
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: upsell their name when they want to.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: Be it's Michael, right, It's never Bill, it's William. Yeah.
- 1:16:05Speaker 9: Uh.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: And then James.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: I thought, oh man, James, you're so lucky your name James.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: Fancy the anything bigger than a twin bed?
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Yes, you made it.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: I had a twin bed until I was probably twenty seven.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: Yeah, for a long time.
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: And I had another thing along the lines of bed,
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: a canopy bed.
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: Oh my god, fancy that one for girls?
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: Yeah, it's for girls. There's like because there's a but
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: it was a big deal if you had when there's
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: posts on all the corners of the bed. Yeah, and
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: there's a canopy that is.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: Basically a mosquito nut around you.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Dude, basically fancy. Yeah. My mom was obsessed with sleigh beds.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they're like wooden beds that kind of looked
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: like sleighs. Yeah. Was that fancy? I don't know. Well
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: those are.
- 1:16:55Speaker 7: Still people would still have those now it's just a
- 1:16:57Speaker 7: style of bed.
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: Can I ask a side note, why do you girls
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: love canopy beast? I remember my girlfriend which she moved
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: it into her like her apartment. Oh, I gotta have
- 1:17:04Speaker 5: a canopy.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: I have a theory behind it. Does it make you
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: feel safe like you're like a.
- 1:17:10Speaker 7: Princess Victorian era? Like I don't know it is it's
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: a princess like princess fancy? Yeah, because it was like
- 1:17:16Speaker 7: Victorian era and castles or something. And that also meant
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: you have to kind of have a bigger room to
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: pull off a canopy bed too, So that meant you
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: had a big.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Room you have bed with fancy because you had the
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: room for it.
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Do you have to have drapes on it to make
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: it fair? That's the whole point of it.
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I'm sure it came out of you know,
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: like like the same he was saying, like Victorian area,
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: but like it's a heat saver, right, you know, he
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: keeps your body heat inside better.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: You had the canopy bed in your castles, which is
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: why you had tapestries on the wall. That's what you
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: love about it. You want to be a princess, right,
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: same thing along the lines of furniture, a metal based
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: table with a glass top, but the glass was tinted.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I thought, damn special especially order that.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: I know, what else did you have, listener?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I had?
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: Okay, there's one more thing that I have on my
- 1:18:06Speaker 7: list that this is so funny. But the drink umbrellas,
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: I thought, we're super fancy, so much so that my
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: dad was going on a trip once and when you
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: were a kid, they you know, your parents bring me
- 1:18:16Speaker 7: back something on a trip. And so I said, oh, uh,
- 1:18:19Speaker 7: are you going to bring me back something? And it
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: was a business trip, so he was like, it's not
- 1:18:22Speaker 7: really that kind of a trip.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: No, I'm not.
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: And I was like, oh okay, he said, why what
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: do you want? I said, I was hoping I could
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: get some drink umbrellas and he was like okay. And
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: I think he went somewhere like Cleveland. No, he's not
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: going to a tropical destination. And he did ask for
- 1:18:36Speaker 7: them at a restaurant and the waiter just gave him
- 1:18:38Speaker 7: a handful of when he came in with like twenty
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: drink umbrellas for me, and I was like, oh my.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: God, well we did too. We had those little plastic swords.
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I don't know whatever. There was a restaurant.
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: We were like, we gotta get this sword I also
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: to fight with.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: But still, yeah, can I go back real quick because
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I had a flashback. I'm reord about the waterbed thing.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: So when I was a teenager, I was going to
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: receive a mouth party because I was prepared, and I
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: was like, I got to show the story because they
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: never shared it before. But I was like, oh, don't worry, girl,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I got I got a shrubberry condo. We have a waterbed,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: and I got a strawberry. Where'd you get the where'd
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: you get the waterbed from? Well, her parents waterbed, and
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: but they were out of town. So I'm all all
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: geared up, all rotten up, bready go, got the strawberry
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: on him. And then her aunt showed up out of
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the house, out of nowhere. So then I ran into
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: the parents bathroom and I hid in the bathroom probably
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: for a good hour and a half, begging that the
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: ant didn't walk in until she left. Yeah, but did
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: you ever think like any type of condom was like
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: kind of fancy because they had the toxedo condom they have.
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: Yeah wait wait wait, but go back, So you put
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: it on for a mouth party?
- 1:20:10Speaker 5: Right? Yeah?
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: Because I'm a teenager, were you doing it for her benefits?
- 1:20:14Speaker 10: Ye?
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Strawberry? You want this?
- 1:20:18Speaker 5: Does this go back to your your mom scaring you
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: into thinking any kind of sexual activity with.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: No, no, no, it was just like, oh, she's going
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: to do it because of strawberry. Yeah.
- 1:20:26Speaker 7: Like Menace likes food, so he's like, how can I
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: make us more enticing for her?
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: I would like that.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I mean I would do it to myself, but I can't.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I want to try it.
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: One that's that is in the now is not fancy
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: is beer with foil caps. Used to have this middle
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: genuine draft I think used to have these, so it
- 1:20:52Speaker 5: was like it was a it was a pop top beer.
- 1:20:54Speaker 5: One that's fancy, but they would wrap it in foil
- 1:20:56Speaker 5: on the top, so it was like to for extra
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: Cara bottle, bottle bottle, oh yeah, yeah yeah, And so
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: like in HIGHLFE these days is disgusting. I mean there
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: was a Champagne of beers or whatever, but that was
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: how they fancied it up. They put a little you
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: have to unwrap the foil then pop the top.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: I think medello still does the fall on the top.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I don't like it. You get some like European right now? Yeah, exactly,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: and thank you to the five one. Oh.
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: They reminded us that the water trucks that had the
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: hanging sparkly things was al Hambra Hambra, and then then
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: the theme me and al hambur Water making Friends.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: That probably the regional night.
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: Maybe that was a Northern California.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: We had somebody that texted and talked about braces, but
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I didn't think about braces being fancy. I thought, my
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: you know my friends that had like all like metal teeth, Like,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: oh dude, they had a grill.
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: It's so weird. I wanted braces before I got them.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: I wanted a retainer so bad that I would take
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: paper clips and try to make the shape of a retainer.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: I did that too.
- 1:21:57Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: My sister had a retainer and I was like, lucky,
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: I'm going to make one and.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: You just try to go to bed with it.
- 1:22:02Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I just think just to make it
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: look like a retainer.
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: Yeah, but I mean parents always get mad. They're like,
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: you're gonna joke on, not get it out of your mouth.
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: And all the kids in school that had retainers would
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: play with them and they're like just kind of yeah.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, you're so lucky. But no, I had
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: perfectly freight yeah loser.
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: I got real braces, and I think I used my
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: retainer a total of zero times like that.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: That went immediately, Yeah, the same. I wish I did
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: wear it though, because now I gotta do this. Yeah,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: do you realize I can barely speak already. It's gonna
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: suck having it.
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: I realize like how dumb we were when we were
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: kids wanting a retainer? And then did you ever have
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: the mentality? I never needed braces? Therefore my parents owe
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: me three thousand dollars. I had that mentality like.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: What the hell?
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: Yeah, because oh you saved on this.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, you.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Didn't have to get me braces, so you know what,
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: you probably get three thousand dollars.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I will order that orange juice. I'll do it all day.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna say.
- 1:23:02Speaker 11: No. Son the Woody Show, right, LA's Alternative Rock ninety
- 1:23:09Speaker 11: eight seven sol Sport Spit, Jeff Ge, what's up, Jeff?
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Good morning, Woodie Show, Happy Thursday. Let's go ahead and
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: start with the Clippers this morning, choking it away.
- 1:23:21Speaker 9: In the play in game, Clippers were up by thirteen
- 1:23:24Speaker 9: with ten minutes left, but then Steph Curry went off.
- 1:23:28Speaker 9: Steph had thirty five. Al Horford was also cooking in
- 1:23:34Speaker 9: the fourth Clippers season is over and to make things
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: worse with the loss. The Clippers also guarantee the Oklahoma
- 1:23:40Speaker 9: City Thunder a lottery pick as part of that Paul
- 1:23:43Speaker 9: George trade.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: To be honest, it is time to blow up this team.
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: Man Audios, Kawhi, audios, Tylu. Time to hit the reset
- 1:23:51Speaker 9: button for the Clippers. Now, speaking of blowing things up,
- 1:23:53Speaker 9: it might be time for the Mets to blow things up.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Dodgers kicked their ass again yesterday.
- 1:23:59Speaker 14: Where's more a year to set? Don't Russia and the
- 1:24:08Speaker 14: Dodgers blowing open.
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: Dodgers won eight to two. Otani also had ten k's
- 1:24:12Speaker 9: in the win. Doyer's off today. Moving on to the Angels,
- 1:24:16Speaker 9: Mike trot homer it again yesterday, but the Yankees scored
- 1:24:19Speaker 9: two in the ninth inning to walk it off against
- 1:24:21Speaker 9: the Halos early game to close out the series. Today
- 1:24:24Speaker 9: it is a ten to thirty five start from New
- 1:24:26Speaker 9: York and finally this morning in the NHL, Ducks and
- 1:24:29Speaker 9: Predators at five Kings and Calgary at six final games
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: of the NHL season and then the playoffs will begin.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I'm Jeff g and that's your so Cal Sports. Thank
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: you very.
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: Much, Jeff Ge.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: You can move on floor right now. You can you
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: can choose something or whatever? Man, you crap in my neded,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: this might be a deal breaker and now more of
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the Woody Show or.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: Back here on the Woodies Show. And I just had
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: a mini heart attack as I googled movies coming out
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: this weekend and they put on the Devilwaar's product too,
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: But that's not coming out.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: And tell me first, you're good, Greg, You're good. Damn.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I wait, I got to reschedule everything.
- 1:25:08Speaker 5: No, Greg, I to ask you, what so this is
- 1:25:11Speaker 5: the gayest thing about you, by the way, I know,
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: at least I had no idea that you were some
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: mega de Devilware's product fan.
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: I mean, it's kind of my go to. If there's
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: nothing on, I'll just throw that on. And I've seen it,
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: I don't know thirty times Ya's and it's a great move.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: It's Caddy. It's Caddy. That's funny. Yeah, it's it's good.
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: And I sent to you Greg, there's a there's a
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: special Devilwaar's product like outdoor activation area with a giant
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: red heel.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: I saw that and I responded, and then I got
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: the red exclamation point because you have a Android and
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: I don't think you got my message, I.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Did you need to make a pilgrimage. A movie that
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: is coming out is The Mummy this weekend, and I
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: brought it up and MENI goes, yes, this is this
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: is be my next Frankenstein where I watch it like
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: seven hundred times. Now this true? Why? Okay?
- 1:26:06Speaker 16: So the main reason is the director of the moment
- 1:26:10Speaker 16: is Lee Cronin and the last movie that he did was.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Evil Dead Rise. Okay, And yes, so this is like
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: a super scary version.
- 1:26:20Speaker 16: And if you look at a trailer, it essentially looks
- 1:26:22Speaker 16: like almost like the Exorcist meets Evil Dead combined together.
- 1:26:27Speaker 16: And it's just it's gonna be this body horror, just
- 1:26:32Speaker 16: a wild ride, and I'm super excited.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, I don't know. I think I've become that
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: person where I watch a movie once and I won't
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: watch it one hundred times like Greg. And I think
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: like when I was a kid, though, I would watch
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: I don't know, comedies and just movies over and over again.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: But I just don't do that anymore, SeaBASS, are you
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: like a rewatcher all kids?
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: And an apparent will tell you they'll watch anything a
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: thousand times. Yeah, I would have it has to be
- 1:26:59Speaker 5: something just a spectacular.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but the Mummy, Greg, right, Greg, Like you get
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: obsessed with movies and you're watching like nine times.
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: I'll rotate five to ten movies and that's about it.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: I don't need to just like dissecting them like looking.
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: For It's just I just don't want to pay mistakes
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: or something or I know, like, oh, I'm gonna throw
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: a movie on just to take a nap, and I
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: don't want to have to pay attention.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: So I put something I've already seen.
- 1:27:24Speaker 14: I was.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: I mentioned this, you were trying to watch The New
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: Naked Gun.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: And I three times now I haven't made it.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: The movie itself is awesome.
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: It's it's about a good job as you could expect first. Yeah,
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: and Iam Neeson comedic genius. It's so understated.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Forgod, Liam Wilson's in it. Yeah, I should have put
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: that together. Now. Another movie out this weekend is bus Boys.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Was theo vonn and David Spade? Now, did you follow
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: this at all? Sea Bestes? I think this would be
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: kind of up your alleys. It seems like a like
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: an offshoot of Joe Dirt. Yeah, David Spade does.
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: He's very hit and miss like he he hayes surprise
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: movies like The Other Missy or whatever it was actually,
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: but he also has some absolute garbage out there, so
- 1:28:04Speaker 5: it's I don't know.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but this is actually in theaters, so you think, like, Okay,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: they're gonna like take your chance on it, because I
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: don't know, like comedies these days seem to just be
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: going to streaming and not going into theaters. That's been
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: the big thing where.
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: It looks like he packed it with his his comedian buddies.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean like I'm here for it. I mean
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: I love comedies. I wish there was more comedies in
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: movie theaters, not just do you just only watch scary movies, Benji.
- 1:28:32Speaker 16: No, No, I watch a lot. Scary movies is a
- 1:28:36Speaker 16: big one that I do watch, and mainly I like
- 1:28:40Speaker 16: to watch them in social settings because I like seeing
- 1:28:43Speaker 16: other people squirm at the visuals.
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: Yet another remake of The Exorcist or is that yes?
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:28:52Speaker 16: So they did one a few years ago. It's called
- 1:28:54Speaker 16: Exorcist Believer and it did awful.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: That was the two little girls that were both.
- 1:29:00Speaker 16: Right and spoilers. They brought some of the original actors
- 1:29:03Speaker 16: from the original Exorcists. Back to that movie spoiler and it, Yeah,
- 1:29:08Speaker 16: it was not great.
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: So the next one coming out is it a remake?
- 1:29:11Speaker 16: It is yet another reboot with a different director, but
- 1:29:16Speaker 16: all under like the Blumhouse name, and they did Paranormal Activity,
- 1:29:21Speaker 16: all that kind of all that kind of good stuff.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: Now, Sammy, is it just rom comms and Hallmark movies
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: for you? Or is there anything that you watch that
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: we would be shocked.
- 1:29:29Speaker 7: By, anything that you would be shocked by. No, I
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: don't watch horror films. Yeah, no, I don't watch those,
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: but I try to, you know, seem what, Willy likes
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: to watch different things other than what I like, right,
- 1:29:44Speaker 7: he can't watch my stuff all. So I did watch
- 1:29:50Speaker 7: I mentioned this before, but I watched that Frankenstein movie
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: that Menji loved so much because he wanted to watch it,
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: and it is so out of my realm. And thank
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: we watched it during the day because I found it
- 1:30:03Speaker 7: absolutely horrifying. I have no idea how Menji has watched
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: that movie over and over like you were legit scared horror.
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: It's it's not even really I wouldn't call.
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: It a horror.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: I'd call it more like a gothic drama.
- 1:30:14Speaker 7: Sure, yes, I agree with you, but it's very graphic
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: in some of the scenes, and I'm a person who
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: will get nightmares like a six year old. I don't
- 1:30:22Speaker 7: want to watch that because I'm gonna have a nightmare
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: about it later, so I'd rather just not and be honest.
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: Did you feel sad when Frankenstein was chained up in
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: the Little Dungeon?
- 1:30:30Speaker 7: I did, yeah, because no one understood him, and you're like, on,
- 1:30:34Speaker 7: you created him, and it's like so mean.
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: Create That's why I did not like that New Frankenstein
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: because it was like it was it was so that
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: the plot was so thin and like everyone's a caricature
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: of like he's.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: A scientist and he's rich, so he's going to be
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: bad and mean for no reason. It was a bit
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: like I get it.
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: And the monster's so strong, he could just bust out
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: of those chains, and he's so hot, and.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: I'm going to make a shirtless hot monster making out
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: with him all the time.
- 1:31:01Speaker 16: Yeah, that did deviate from the book a little bit.
- 1:31:05Speaker 16: That Frankenstein is not immortal and you can't speak perfect
- 1:31:08Speaker 16: English all the time, so well.
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: You'll have to report back on the new Mummy.
- 1:31:13Speaker 16: Yeah, okay, we'll do. We'll do also, oh so sorry
- 1:31:17Speaker 16: before the Mummy. Allegedly there is supposed to be the
- 1:31:20Speaker 16: new trailer for the evil Dead Burns.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: We have a dork alerder and I will happily own that.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Breaking news. Greg Gory had to take a major work.
- 1:31:35Speaker 14: Not since the Fall of Rome has there been this
- 1:31:37Speaker 14: much devastation death.
- 1:31:39Speaker 12: Woody, Woody and now back to the Woody Show.
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: A reminder that Woody and Junior are back tomorrow on
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: The Woody Show. The other fourteen of us are here
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: today doing the usual thing like Sea Bass with this
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: weekend audio.
- 1:31:55Speaker 5: We'll start off with some new music in the Sea
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: Bess original game who disc Okay play some audio. Some
- 1:32:01Speaker 5: of these will be easier than others as you're about
- 1:32:03Speaker 5: to hear new music released from the artist and buzz in.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: Whenever you think you know the answer why to.
- 1:32:15Speaker 12: Remind Wow, smoky answer, it's you know these are all
- 1:32:25Speaker 12: well actual actual musicians.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: Has to be an old person, right, It does sound
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: like your grandmother. And I can't tell if it's a
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: guy or girl. It's a good guy for sure. That
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: might be a girl there and doing that harmony and
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: he guess it's okay, stupid out is it?
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: Fo good?
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Guess that has a tone incorrect though, anybody else recognize that?
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Anybody else? And his new Paul McCartney What Days We
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Left Behind from the Bulls of Dungeon line his an
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: upcoming album. Why does he sound different?
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: Well because he's talking about all his like growing up
- 1:33:12Speaker 5: in Liverpool and I guess, you know, I guess he
- 1:33:15Speaker 5: knows he's dying soon and he's kind of it's all
- 1:33:17Speaker 5: about my shit. To be fair, He's led one of
- 1:33:20Speaker 5: the most incredible lives that everyone could ever live.
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so he should be fine that it's about that.
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: He just had like a massive birthday party.
- 1:33:28Speaker 5: Yeah, Olivia Rodrigo showed us Swift, Yeah yeah, yeah, But yeah,
- 1:33:33Speaker 5: he's had a new album.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: It's like fifty billionth album from Paul McCartney. Do you
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: know what kind of sucks? You're Paul McCartney, like biggest
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: band ever and nuclear famous around the world, and the
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: biggest thing to come out of your birthday party was
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: that Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift talked to each other.
- 1:33:52Speaker 5: But again, that's the newest thing that menace took out
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: of that birthday party.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: I mean that's all. I mean what I saw in
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: the news, well, exactly your feet. I'm sure that's all
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: Paul's talking about at home. It's good that they squashed beef. Yeah.
- 1:34:06Speaker 5: I wait for the new Olivia album to drop. All right,
- 1:34:08Speaker 5: this is gonna be tougher. And this is not a
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: it's not a full song. This is like kind of
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: this is part of a slong song slash a teaser clip.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Who dis Oh.
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: I know Madonna.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: There you go new Madonna.
- 1:34:27Speaker 3: It's her first new album and I think seven or
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: eight years And Confessions from the Dance.
- 1:34:32Speaker 5: Floor got recently that Greg was hiding a nuclear gay secret.
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: He's secretly a mega Madonna fan, especially with her personality
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: and politics.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all about exactly.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: There is major rumors that she will be coming out
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: with Sabrina Carpenter during Coachella this weekend. Major, major, major rumors.
- 1:34:53Speaker 5: This is telling you we're hearing what what Feeds Menace
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: is getting right here.
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: That would be that would be a pretty.
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: Ges So who brought out j Lo the last week?
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: Oh that was David Ghetta.
- 1:35:03Speaker 5: Okay, Yeah, Confessions on a Dance Hard two coming out
- 1:35:07Speaker 5: July third. That's a little teaser she released, do I
- 1:35:11Speaker 5: have to go ask? I know, Greg, you may not
- 1:35:12Speaker 5: be tapped into the younger gay scene, but do younger
- 1:35:15Speaker 5: gays really care about Madonna anymore?
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: I don't think so. I don't know. That's definitely what
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: she's going for with all those dance music. Yeah, I
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: don't know, but I don't think so. It wouldn't be
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: Lady Gaga be there, probably Madonna.
- 1:35:27Speaker 5: Well, is Madonna now so old that she's moved into
- 1:35:30Speaker 5: share territory though?
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: Where she's like.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: That's where I personally I would put her in that
- 1:35:34Speaker 3: same category. She's got to be in her sixties by now.
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: Right, Oh yeah, it still looks great though. I'll give
- 1:35:41Speaker 5: you a clue and I'm sure you'll figure this out.
- 1:35:43Speaker 5: The next to who this new music? You guys are
- 1:35:45Speaker 5: guessing the new artist? This is something that well, Sammy
- 1:35:49Speaker 5: will likely recognize first A.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Dreamt exact kids.
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: I like it.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: I like it so I figured.
- 1:36:09Speaker 5: But it's got shotguns f one fifty, it's all the
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: country music tropes, you know, all slightly e d M.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: There's a clue there, Menace and guesses. So it would
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: be an ed M guy doing country or both together
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: and then.
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: I'll just know it's not Nelly.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: Marching hello and throw the name out stand there you go, Okay,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: the no way Pepper. Not to crap on because I never.
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: Would, but that to me, you sounds like the most soulless,
- 1:36:49Speaker 5: monotonous garbage formulae nonsense. Did you take country music, which
- 1:36:52Speaker 5: has already like been totally popified, throw E D M
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: on it. So there's like, there's no emotions, it's all
- 1:36:58Speaker 5: super compressed. There's no emotion of vocal.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: He's just listening off the mee her bobbing her head
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: as you're explaining this. Yeah, yes, let's go. And I
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: know there are no genres anymore. Anybody can do whatever
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: they want. It's just like, really, yeah, imagine in the
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: middle of E. D C. As this song is playing. Yeah,
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: I love it. Drugs all right, I am, I'm refreshing.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: He's a little bit.
- 1:37:26Speaker 5: We'll go one more for an edition of who dis
- 1:37:28Speaker 5: New Music Feature. This one will probably be the easiest
- 1:37:31Speaker 5: number four there von all right, the easiest on account
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: you'll hear the lyrics.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: The other one refreshment numberfore like there's new Sublime, the
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: best who on God? Yeah, yeah, this is the easiest one.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: It's easy.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: Yeah, who's that DJ part already?
- 1:38:10Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: Yeah, of course, now my thing younger people future.
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: It's garbage, right, dude, he has a big I know, but.
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: I mostly don't get it.
- 1:38:23Speaker 5: Was he part of Migo slimming note? Okay, I mean
- 1:38:27Speaker 5: he has a similar sound. It's just it's just it's
- 1:38:30Speaker 5: just mumbling into an auto tune, the.
- 1:38:33Speaker 3: Big depressed way.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, like I'm sad.
- 1:38:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but he like a lot of his songs with
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: Drake are very popular.
- 1:38:39Speaker 15: But maybe.
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: And I just don't get it. Also, a little baby
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: was in there too. Greg wanted you to know that
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: it was unmista. What did he baby?
- 1:38:58Speaker 5: I know, d J College is a very nice sky
- 1:39:00Speaker 5: and we love him and he's he hung out with
- 1:39:01Speaker 5: what he needs, all lovely, but it's there's.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: A another commercial that he just did recently. I wonder
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: what the heck it was. Was he supposed to be
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: on well, he was on weight Watchers. I think they
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: his entire he has an entire second freezer that's just
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: full of benager? Another one has they said just in
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: another commercial? I'm like they're still giving him commercials.
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: That's oh, speaking of commercials, see if you can fast
- 1:39:26Speaker 5: forward there to clip number six about WrestleMania. You see
- 1:39:29Speaker 5: that one on ye So there's a big, big this weekend, Russell. Sorry,
- 1:39:32Speaker 5: I almost screwed it up. WrestleMania is in Vegas for
- 1:39:35Speaker 5: the second time.
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: Yeah, in two years. I heard this guy got like
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: a big voice overdio for it. You might have heard
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: a very famous person doing commercials. Let's see if you
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: can hear it right here, I don't know. On April
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: eighteenth and nineteenth, don't miss rustle Mania on the ESPN
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: app with an ESPN Unlimited plant. Okay, I mean that
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: voice sounds familiar now, it's really smooth.
- 1:39:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I just because I've I'm doing I'm not usually
- 1:40:00Speaker 5: listening to the commercials, but we've had so many texts
- 1:40:03Speaker 5: coming about if you want to hit that that that
- 1:40:06Speaker 5: clip again there.
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: On April eighteenth and nineteenth, don't miss rustle Mania on
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: the ESPN app with an ESPN Unlimited plan. Yeah. Now,
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: I did see a lot of people texting saying they
- 1:40:16Speaker 1: were excited for the USA, so now we put it.
- 1:40:19Speaker 5: We've played many of his commercials over the years, and
- 1:40:22Speaker 5: he always claims, he always says, I if there was
- 1:40:25Speaker 5: anything wrong with the commercial.
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: They would let me know because there's all.
- 1:40:27Speaker 5: These people that check it and way yeah yeah, and
- 1:40:32Speaker 5: if he does and if that there's a screw up,
- 1:40:33Speaker 5: which I don't. I haven't heard a screwed up in that.
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: Come on.
- 1:40:35Speaker 5: Yeah that that they would, they would actually they wanted
- 1:40:39Speaker 5: it to be that way. It does get more people
- 1:40:40Speaker 5: talking about it, like we're doing right now. Yeah, it's
- 1:40:44Speaker 5: called marketing and look into it.
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: It's very calculated.
- 1:40:48Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, it's always intentional and like he's like, really,
- 1:40:50Speaker 5: he's playing four dy chess with us, so menace to
- 1:40:55Speaker 5: be in all in honesty?
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: Do you know what's wrong with that?
- 1:40:57Speaker 15: Uh?
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: Allegedly what's wrong with it? It says Russell, but I
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: mean Russell? Yeah, rusting anyways, Crow this weekend. I'll say
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: it because I did that. I remember I went last year.
- 1:41:14Speaker 1: I did the recap. It's so much fun. It is.
- 1:41:17Speaker 5: There's a lot of people there, and if you're a lady,
- 1:41:19Speaker 5: there's a lot of single men there like hot ones.
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: Check this out for WrestleMania. Did you see what they
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: did at the Luxor? They made a belt that you
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: can drink out of. It rules so hard. Usually they'll
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: wrap the side of the pyramid, a championship belt that
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: you can wear, and then it has a little tube
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: that you can drink out. I want one so bad,
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: plastic you could probably make that dream come like a
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: fanny pack and everything. Okay, but I'm gonna be out
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: of town and they're probably gonna sell out at the
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: lux right now. First off, sorry, Second off, if anybody
- 1:41:57Speaker 1: got the plug, I'll buy it off you, please, Menace
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: at market price. I want one to That's that's a cool, right,
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: Part one of this weekend Audio featuring Yeah, I'll buy
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: a Sea Beasts. I'm not asking for free. Are you
- 1:42:12Speaker 1: scared for your safety? That's a complicated question.
- 1:42:15Speaker 3: So being here today, if I say the wrong word,
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: I can be charged with that's a complicated question.
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: So being here today, if I say, I can be charged.
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: And now.
- 1:42:29Speaker 5: We are back.
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: It is the Woody Show, and it is the week
- 1:42:32Speaker 3: in audio with Sea Bass.
- 1:42:34Speaker 5: We're gonna hear menace actually get excited, all right. I
- 1:42:38Speaker 5: was at the grocery store the other day, that being yesterday.
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and I got you a special tree because I
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: saw it, I knew you'd love it.
- 1:42:44Speaker 5: Okay, Hello, Kitty, Sparkling Strawberry soda, so while Menace enjoys
- 1:42:50Speaker 5: that it's his room temperature.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: Though, sorry, I will get it. Like she's at Coachella again.
- 1:42:58Speaker 5: She's at Hello Kitty, not just for little girls, espite
- 1:43:02Speaker 5: that it's a pink cat and a sparkling strawberry s.
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: They just did a Bruno Mars Hello Kitty collab in Vegas,
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: like last weekend, it was massive to stop down too much.
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: What does a Bruno Mars Hello Kitty collab look like?
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: Two cartoon characters together having fun, living life anyway, so
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: this is quite delicious.
- 1:43:25Speaker 5: Actually, Greg, did you know that when you go into
- 1:43:29Speaker 5: space you can't you can't bring your little dugan with
- 1:43:31Speaker 5: you your dog.
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: They need to change that rule.
- 1:43:35Speaker 5: Well, that's why this little dugan was extremely excited when
- 1:43:38Speaker 5: one of the astronauts came back from Artemis too.
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: I didn't see it. This is Christina.
- 1:43:43Speaker 5: I think her last name is Crotch, Christina Crouch. She
- 1:43:46Speaker 5: gets home to her little dugan and a little golden
- 1:43:48Speaker 5: retriever and it is from her, you know, her doorbell camera.
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: Do you think he could smell that she was? You
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: know how you're talking like smell when you're under the dogs.
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: I smell the moon.
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that is so cool. That's so weird. She's walking
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: home having just been farther than everybody. That is so cool.
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: I had a really random thought about the Artemists two landing. Yeah,
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: they land in the ocean, right, and then they get
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: picked up by an inflatable raft. Don't you think at
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: this day and age in the air twenty twenty six,
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: we would have some sort of like yacht or something
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: yacht like a device that extends arms out.
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's just a random raft.
- 1:44:32Speaker 3: So nineteen sixties, well, that's it was nasty, not SpaceX.
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: That's why I know what I'm saying. It would have
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: been a nice Yeah, speA badass.
- 1:44:41Speaker 5: In other audio news from Doorbill Cameras, this is a U.
- 1:44:46Speaker 5: This is This falls into the category of why are
- 1:44:48Speaker 5: they screaming? Why are they crying?
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: The what do you show?
- 1:44:50Speaker 5: Original game where little kids are crying and you guess why? Yeah,
- 1:44:53Speaker 5: you'll hear why in this, but it's still another evidence
- 1:44:56Speaker 5: of why. In this case, a three year old is
- 1:44:59Speaker 5: just awful. He's out the outside of his dad, Hi monkey,
- 1:45:03Speaker 5: his mom talking.
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: To him just on the camera, was talking to him
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: through the camera.
- 1:45:14Speaker 3: Scared, But how did that scare him.
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: Get to the top. Yeah, my god, Well his mom
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: was a ghost high monkey. It sounds like this kid
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: is from the eighteen hundred yeah six, Oh my god,
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: how did that scare him? Yeah?
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: Because your kids in our work Yeah yeah, door either
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: really young or like the ninety four year old due
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: doesn't know what?
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: Who are you talking from?
- 1:45:44Speaker 15: Hello?
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: Although it was there, I forget.
- 1:45:46Speaker 5: I hope it wasn't me, but we were a couple
- 1:45:48Speaker 5: of us went through the phase where like, uh man
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: mascot scared us.
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: So you go, like a grocery store, here's the dog and.
- 1:45:58Speaker 3: Hyperbolic Brad.
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: Yeah, like people afraid of the easter bunny and stuff.
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I've gotta This is something I actually would
- 1:46:05Speaker 5: have done in college. This is from a supposed door
- 1:46:07Speaker 5: dash driver, and some of these videos are fake.
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:46:09Speaker 5: Whatever, but this for the sake of argument, she claims
- 1:46:13Speaker 5: that she went to go drop off her door dash
- 1:46:15Speaker 5: and the person and she couldn't get inside for a
- 1:46:18Speaker 5: certain reason to the area she need to drop it often,
- 1:46:21Speaker 5: so this is what she did.
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: Instead.
- 1:46:22Speaker 15: Shout out to Colleen for not answering her phone when
- 1:46:25Speaker 15: I was trying to deliver her order. Because now you
- 1:46:27Speaker 15: just gave me some free star Bus and I'm gonna
- 1:46:29Speaker 15: try your order. I mean, that's kind of what you get. Like,
- 1:46:32Speaker 15: why would you leave your dog out and expect me
- 1:46:34Speaker 15: to deliver and then not answer your phone.
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: That's not you.
- 1:46:38Speaker 15: I'm not gonna go out there with your dog barking
- 1:46:40Speaker 15: at me. Fanti coffee frappuccino added whipped cream and mocha drizzle.
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: That's pretty good.
- 1:46:49Speaker 15: Then she also gone banana bread macha.
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: This is my first time drinking macha.
- 1:46:59Speaker 3: Yes, Mega fired. We don't know. But here's the thing.
- 1:47:02Speaker 5: If you just go to uber eads, yeah right, you
- 1:47:04Speaker 5: get fired from door dash. Oh no, but a couple
- 1:47:08Speaker 5: of things there. Obviously that's something that we would have
- 1:47:10Speaker 5: done in school, is like gotten that job and then
- 1:47:15Speaker 5: you know which I get Like, I mean, I think
- 1:47:17Speaker 5: that the proper thing to do would be so that
- 1:47:19Speaker 5: there's a dog behind a fence, you leave it at
- 1:47:21Speaker 5: the fans take a photo.
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: Sorry there's a dog. Yeah, not be a bit at
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: the end of there.
- 1:47:28Speaker 5: What if I what did I just tell you guys
- 1:47:29Speaker 5: that every girl in her twenties is obsessed with macha.
- 1:47:34Speaker 6: Myer is that she saw the order she wanted to
- 1:47:36Speaker 6: try the Mancha so bad that she was like, I'm
- 1:47:38Speaker 6: not leaving this crap.
- 1:47:39Speaker 4: I'm gonna take it.
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: She made up a backstory about it.
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: Listen how excited she was when she got to try that.
- 1:47:43Speaker 5: How basic she was because all of her girlfriends scream
- 1:47:46Speaker 5: about Mancha and post about Maya and that's everything that
- 1:47:48Speaker 5: every twenty year old girl wants, and you're a basic.
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: It's delicious.
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a new revival. I mean, Masha's not a
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: new thing. Green powdered tea from China or whatever been around. Yeah,
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: Masha's hot. I love it. Yeah, every year old. Yeah,
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: I mean it's good.
- 1:48:03Speaker 5: This next door dash quote trick is this is This
- 1:48:06Speaker 5: is obviously a sketch, but this is also something my
- 1:48:09Speaker 5: friends and I would have done in high school or college.
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: Here.
- 1:48:11Speaker 13: I was so broke one time, I'm downloaded the doorday
- 1:48:15Speaker 13: so I can be a dance. They'll set my application too,
- 1:48:18Speaker 13: So I got my first water chicken home and deleted the.
- 1:48:22Speaker 1: L You know what. I might have did that as
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: well when I was like super hungry. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: where I told you. I shared the story where I
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: showed up to the wood show blood drive before I
- 1:48:35Speaker 1: worked for the show, just so I can get some lunch.
- 1:48:37Speaker 4: Oh you're saying you might have done that back, Yes,
- 1:48:40Speaker 4: you did that.
- 1:48:41Speaker 5: No, I would have done that right because medice wouldn't
- 1:48:43Speaker 5: have been that poor in door dash was around.
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: Yeah, necessarily I would have did it. I would have
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: been doing that. Yeah, oh I remember I I told
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: you that I used to sneak into the Costco. I
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: didn't have a membership. I pretend to be on the phone,
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: which is disconnected because I couldn't pay for it, and
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: I would distract the person at the front.
- 1:48:59Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I was like, oh yeah, you know, uh my mom. Yeah,
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: and then I would just go eat all the samples
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: and that would be my lunch. And the ladies that
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: would give out the samples, I will get so many
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: they would get mad at me.
- 1:49:11Speaker 5: See here's I had heard parts of that story. I
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: didn't know you'd had no Costco membership.
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: I thought you had to know no, so I would
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: have to come up with excuse to get in every day,
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: throw a flash. I didn't know like they if you
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: told them that you were buying alcohol, they would just
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: let you in.
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: Wright certain states. Yeah, I'm going to the alcohol at
- 1:49:26Speaker 5: the pharmacy.
- 1:49:28Speaker 1: Right, but I would always have like some weird story
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: to get in so I can get all the did
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: you bat a thousand?
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: You got in every time?
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: Yes, every time? And now before they membership cards. Yeah,
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: I would go ham on all the samples until the
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: ladies cut me off. That's not terrible idea.
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: And now DoorDash and slash whatever drivers if you could
- 1:49:45Speaker 5: text in, because I would think that if you even
- 1:49:48Speaker 5: let's say you're a working door dash driver, you could
- 1:49:50Speaker 5: probably lose one out of what fifty orders.
- 1:49:53Speaker 1: Right, and it goes down your stomach built in yeah, right,
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: and just claim.
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: It was like, oh I couldn't get delivered, or we
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: see there's there's there's all kinds of videos where the
- 1:50:02Speaker 5: DoorDash driver will will put the package down at the doorstep,
- 1:50:05Speaker 5: take a photo, and then just grab it and leave
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: with it. But then that gets caught on the ring camera.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: It looks so good.
- 1:50:10Speaker 3: You get creative when you're hungry, you know, come up
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: with ways when you're poor and hungry.
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: Hell yeah, to make it work.
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: This week in audio, all right, so this one, this
- 1:50:20Speaker 5: is gonna be a menace. Excuse generator. I'm gonna lean
- 1:50:22Speaker 5: a menace here too. So this lady, Lee County, Florida,
- 1:50:25Speaker 5: she and her boyfriend are driving and they got pulled
- 1:50:28Speaker 5: over for going about one hundred twenty five miles an hour. Nice, okay,
- 1:50:31Speaker 5: so go ahead and be thinking, be thinking of what
- 1:50:34Speaker 5: your excuse would could be. I'll play the first clip.
- 1:50:38Speaker 5: This is you're gonna hear her talking. You hear the
- 1:50:40Speaker 5: boyfriend talking from the passenger seat. So man, huh, but
- 1:50:44Speaker 5: this is how they start the interaction.
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: Off, shut the car off.
- 1:50:50Speaker 8: Why could you're doing one hundred twenty five that's what ray,
- 1:50:53Speaker 8: I'm not doing one hundred twenty five.
- 1:50:55Speaker 1: She's not doing a.
- 1:50:57Speaker 5: Yeah, right, so that you in the passenger seat just yeah, crak, sorry,
- 1:51:04Speaker 5: No you're with this lady first off, a homegrown Florida
- 1:51:09Speaker 5: accent from the cop there too. But then so you
- 1:51:11Speaker 5: pulled over one hundred and twenty five.
- 1:51:13Speaker 1: Well you always say mechanical issue with the car, right, Yeah,
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: the accelerator got stuck.
- 1:51:19Speaker 3: Or the yeah, pedometer is broken. Therefore I wasn't.
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: Doing that, so you have so you don't have to
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: go mechanical issue that not that you weren't paying attention.
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: You have to say mechanicals like the gas pedals to thee.
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: Then how did you how did you stop when I
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: pulled you over? Yeah, ran out of gas.
- 1:51:36Speaker 5: I set the keys in there just so I can
- 1:51:37Speaker 5: take a look at that. I don't know if the
- 1:51:39Speaker 5: nice excuse generator is firing, is powerful?
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: Well would you say?
- 1:51:43Speaker 11: Then?
- 1:51:43Speaker 5: All right, so you got to go not mechanical issue,
- 1:51:46Speaker 5: because that's very detectable medical issue. And look, I know girl,
- 1:51:51Speaker 5: the nuclear diarrhea, nuclear period that doesn't want anymore broke,
- 1:51:55Speaker 5: that's also detectable. Yeah, well she's fat in this case,
- 1:51:59Speaker 5: she's not that fair. But yeah, I would say, okay,
- 1:52:05Speaker 5: if I'm with my girlfriend, sorry, I've got to I've
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: got to get her to the Planned Parenthood Center because
- 1:52:13Speaker 5: she's she's whatever the limit is, she's like.
- 1:52:18Speaker 1: Six days. She has an abusive father, and if he
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: finds out.
- 1:52:22Speaker 5: Right exactly, now here's what. Okay, So it's just def
- 1:52:27Speaker 5: why she's driving. She's driving her boyfriend's Toyota Supra, and
- 1:52:32Speaker 5: when she finally gets out, this was her excuse, why
- 1:52:34Speaker 5: are we going so fest.
- 1:52:35Speaker 8: Honestly, it's just because he has super that's.
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: Why then, all right, honest and it's not my car and.
- 1:52:46Speaker 1: It's his car and car fall. But unfortunately we do
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: know in the state of Florida.
- 1:52:55Speaker 5: Super yeah, if you're going like something like thirty over
- 1:53:00Speaker 5: or something in Florida's automatic jail.
- 1:53:02Speaker 14: What very.
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: We keep I keep asking girl women like have you
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: ever banged a guy just because of his car? Here
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: we go, Yeah, yeah, I know. Sammy is always impressed
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: with vehicles.
- 1:53:16Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's what she said that when she's down there,
- 1:53:19Speaker 5: like rubbing the cyber truck lag.
- 1:53:22Speaker 7: Some day this will be mom, right especially, have to
- 1:53:24Speaker 7: let me drive it though, otherwise I won't put out.
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: You lure that over every.
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: Do we have more this weekend audio?
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: I'm sure we do. We're supposed to break though.
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: Yeah, we are running a lot, Sammy j We'll wrap
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: up this weekend audio coming up here on The Woody Show.
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: The Woody Show returns right after these messages, and we
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: are concluding this week in audio with that. One of
- 1:53:55Speaker 1: Greg's favorite activities to street takeovers. Oh yeah, he loves
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: that so much.
- 1:54:02Speaker 5: This is where for folks who are if you're not
- 1:54:04Speaker 5: a teenage dirt bag and are not familiar with this,
- 1:54:07Speaker 5: do this. Yeah, A bunch of you and your friends
- 1:54:09Speaker 5: block off an intersection and hopefully in a big city,
- 1:54:12Speaker 5: and then you just start doing you start drifting around
- 1:54:14Speaker 5: the interesting.
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: They changed the name though, because when I was growing up,
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: we call them side shows. Side shows. Yeah, that's a
- 1:54:22Speaker 1: good question. All these dorts on on the news call
- 1:54:26Speaker 1: it a street take, street take, side show.
- 1:54:29Speaker 3: Street takeovers. Technically, I think more accurate.
- 1:54:31Speaker 5: Because the Yeah, but it doesn't sound cool as cool
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: as they are. If you want to drive in the area,
- 1:54:36Speaker 5: guess what, you're out of luck, and then you try
- 1:54:38Speaker 5: to force your way through. Guess what, you're dead. Yeah,
- 1:54:39Speaker 5: I got ways, dude. It's cool, and there's other funds.
- 1:54:43Speaker 5: There's side activities to the side show, as evidenced in
- 1:54:46Speaker 5: this video from a recent streak takeover in Rosemead.
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: Yeah that's right.
- 1:54:58Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, mom, someone gets shot. No, I don't know,
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: you're probably I believe yeah, yeah, you know nothing too.
- 1:55:15Speaker 5: That's really why, because because it's like the old thing,
- 1:55:19Speaker 5: Like I don't want prostitution to be illegal, but I
- 1:55:21Speaker 5: do know that when you have street walkers in your neighborhood,
- 1:55:23Speaker 5: crime comes.
- 1:55:24Speaker 1: And it follows the same thing with these side shows.
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: They just wanted to take it to the next level
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: of cool.
- 1:55:30Speaker 5: I guess what do you think if I okay, it's cool.
- 1:55:32Speaker 5: I'm I'm spinning, I'm doing donuts. I could spin out
- 1:55:35Speaker 5: of control, hits some bystanders. That's pretty cool.
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: But I'm really good at rift or when they have
- 1:55:39Speaker 1: the passenger like sitting outside the.
- 1:55:42Speaker 5: Off get run and get like caught under a wheel.
- 1:55:46Speaker 5: You can also just it's instant chaos when you throw gunfire.
- 1:55:49Speaker 5: And by the way, it's really smart to videotape yourself
- 1:55:54Speaker 5: and live stream yourself at a street take over because
- 1:55:56Speaker 5: guess what, what you're doing as a witness is also illegal,
- 1:55:59Speaker 5: so you're part of the problem.
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: And now it came out. I'm just stuck in traffic,
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: dog in front of me.
- 1:56:03Speaker 3: Why not happen to be taking a walk at midnight.
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: It's not this cool stuff. As as the gunfire started,
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: I left.
- 1:56:11Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm good.
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you, I'm good. Uh.
- 1:56:14Speaker 5: In other SWAT news, this is this is from inside
- 1:56:17Speaker 5: Edition doing all the voiceover because this is a chopper cam.
- 1:56:22Speaker 5: Then that noticed something very interesting after a SWAT vehicle
- 1:56:26Speaker 5: caught a car that they were chasing.
- 1:56:29Speaker 10: A chopper is reporting on a dramatic SWAT team operation.
- 1:56:33Speaker 10: That's when the chopper pilot from CBS l A captures
- 1:56:36Speaker 10: the deputy scrolling through what appears to be sexy singles
- 1:56:42Speaker 10: away from the high stakes negotiations with the suspect in
- 1:56:46Speaker 10: the white car.
- 1:56:48Speaker 5: So he's literally at the back of the SWAT vehicle,
- 1:56:50Speaker 5: which is of course, right up against the car that
- 1:56:52Speaker 5: they this is one of the office.
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and he's just like another day on the job.
- 1:57:00Speaker 5: The thing that people are realizing. Well, it must be so,
- 1:57:02Speaker 5: it must be so like adrenaline pact to be in
- 1:57:03Speaker 5: the squat team.
- 1:57:04Speaker 1: No man deal with It's easy. I got time to
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: kill high speech chase.
- 1:57:09Speaker 5: Well guess what, Greg, what good news for all involved, because,
- 1:57:12Speaker 5: as it turns out, he did have time to kill.
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: Forget about swipe. This is SWAT left or right. Aspect
- 1:57:20Speaker 1: in the car police were chasing was found dead inside
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: his vehicle from a self inflicted gun chop. Yeah, so.
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: You're not negotiating.
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: Okay, So what am I supposed to do here? In
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: count bullets of down time? Yeah, come on, give the
- 1:57:38Speaker 1: CPR what am I supposed to be doing? Nothing happened
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: in that officer. I know there there was some statement
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: about blah blah blah. This is not the conduct.
- 1:57:45Speaker 5: We I'm sure you don't. You don't get away with that.
- 1:57:47Speaker 5: You get disciplined and you know, busted Den and right.
- 1:57:50Speaker 3: I'm talking about I hope he found love.
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: By the way, Morgan would fall for that dude, like
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: as long as he was over six ft tall in
- 1:57:59Speaker 1: SWAT the dead guy, the dead guy or the top
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: six and one.
- 1:58:06Speaker 3: My previous neighbor was a SWAT team member and he
- 1:58:08Speaker 3: was badass.
- 1:58:10Speaker 5: I mean, obviously I'm baddest enough to do that job,
- 1:58:13Speaker 5: but obviously I would hate to have to be like that,
- 1:58:16Speaker 5: or anything where you could be on call twenty four
- 1:58:18Speaker 5: to seven would suck because like what if I wanted
- 1:58:20Speaker 5: to have a bottle of wine?
- 1:58:22Speaker 3: Right, yeah, and then some losers like holding up in
- 1:58:25Speaker 3: a liquor store.
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: Ye, well, dude, there was this driver that was hanging
- 1:58:29Speaker 1: out one time. Were those people that have like diplomatic community,
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: that's right, diplomatic diplomatic community whatever, the guy whatever, And
- 1:58:39Speaker 1: he was a driver for that guy, and so he
- 1:58:41Speaker 1: was on call twenty four to seven. I was smoking
- 1:58:43Speaker 1: weed and drinking on his dock. He was like, oh,
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: I gotta gos. But then those license plates you don't
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: get in trouble right, No, if he was swerving all
- 1:58:55Speaker 1: through stop signs, do whatever you want.
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: So he was good.
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: F Y Pete Venice is still a joy. His hello, kiddy,
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: quite delicious.
- 1:59:02Speaker 3: How do we get these diplomatic community places?
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:59:12Speaker 3: Is a throwback Thursday here on the Woody Show. It's
- 1:59:15Speaker 3: a weird day. Woody and Gina both out. They are
- 1:59:17Speaker 3: going to be back tomorrow. Actually why from their hotel room.
- 1:59:21Speaker 3: But right now we are greeted by the one and
- 1:59:24Speaker 3: the only DJ, Tim Martinez.
- 1:59:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you know what time the dude Tim, his
- 1:59:34Speaker 1: son hung out with me during Coachelle. He stayed at
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: my house. Yeah, and my wife, Spicy Nacho said, it's
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: like having Tim Martinez in our house. That's you know,
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: it's funny you say that.
- 1:59:46Speaker 7: I was.
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Everybody says, oh my god, your son's mannerisms and
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: the way he just carries himself is literally just like
- 1:59:54Speaker 1: I'm like, that's scary in itself, like not okay, but hey, dude,
- 2:00:00Speaker 1: good looking out man. Seriously, Like I mean, he supped
- 2:00:02Speaker 1: on my couch. Not a big deal. I mean it
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: is a big It is a big deal to let
- 2:00:05Speaker 1: somebody just in your private space. I mean, you know,
- 2:00:10Speaker 1: but he behaved. But dude, so I asked him, I go,
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: what are we going to get your dad out here?
- 2:00:16Speaker 1: And he's like, You're never gonna find that dad out
- 2:00:18Speaker 1: here at all. And then I see you on social media, dude.
- 2:00:21Speaker 1: He was at some like winery or something nice. Okay, Greg,
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: I know that you've tried to get me to do
- 2:00:32Speaker 1: wine multiple occasions.
- 2:00:34Speaker 11: Do what.
- 2:00:37Speaker 3: I used to say to my friends who are potheads,
- 2:00:39Speaker 3: like yeah, I don't do pot and they would laugh
- 2:00:41Speaker 3: and what you don't do pot, do coke?
- 2:00:46Speaker 1: And I was just I was put in a scenario
- 2:00:49Speaker 1: where I was in San Luis Obispo and and all
- 2:00:55Speaker 1: of a sudden, they're like, hey, we're all going to winery.
- 2:01:01Speaker 1: Why do I do my voice like that? Everybody? We're
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: going winery? And I was like, my wife's like, so
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: what do you want to do? And I go, well,
- 2:01:11Speaker 1: I mean I don't want to be that guy. I go, well,
- 2:01:16Speaker 1: maybe I can sneak in a flask and just go
- 2:01:19Speaker 1: to the bathroom and just like down some tequila. And
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: I just thought it wasn't cool. So I was like,
- 2:01:24Speaker 1: you know what, I will partake. So I went and
- 2:01:28Speaker 1: it was I had two and a half glasses of wine.
- 2:01:31Speaker 1: What a rookie? But can I say.
- 2:01:36Speaker 11: That?
- 2:01:36Speaker 1: Blew my mind?
- 2:01:37Speaker 11: Was?
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: Wine hits different right, it's the drunk I after two
- 2:01:43Speaker 1: and a half glasses of wine, I was like, Yo,
- 2:01:45Speaker 1: why is everything a little shady right now?
- 2:01:51Speaker 3: Especially in the daytime, because I imagine it was. It
- 2:01:54Speaker 3: was two o'clock in the afternoon, daytime wine. But dude,
- 2:01:57Speaker 3: it's the worst hangover, well and the worst. He doesn't
- 2:02:01Speaker 3: get hung over, that's what's weird.
- 2:02:03Speaker 1: So uh So I had my two and a half classes,
- 2:02:06Speaker 1: went back and did our festivities that we were doing
- 2:02:08Speaker 1: out there, and then I continued with beer in tequila,
- 2:02:12Speaker 1: and I was like, this is a bad mixture, right,
- 2:02:16Speaker 1: but I was ready for the morning hangover. I woke
- 2:02:20Speaker 1: up just fine.
- 2:02:21Speaker 3: See it's a miracle.
- 2:02:23Speaker 1: But I will say, I mean, I give wine. It's
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: last resort for me. Really I will. But now I
- 2:02:29Speaker 1: can say I will. Well, they didn't let you.
- 2:02:32Speaker 3: Back in the hood, but hopefully you and I can
- 2:02:36Speaker 3: do wine.
- 2:02:37Speaker 1: You know what, I will actually do wine now with you.
- 2:02:41Speaker 1: My wife was making funny because she was just like, Yo,
- 2:02:43Speaker 1: this is hysterical because nobody has ever seen this.
- 2:02:49Speaker 17: And you posted in I was like, Yeah, I definitely
- 2:02:51Speaker 17: lost I left. Uh, I lost my uh the hood
- 2:02:55Speaker 17: card for sure? I probably can you get it back
- 2:02:58Speaker 17: though with the throwback song oh for sure?
- 2:03:01Speaker 5: Uh.
- 2:03:02Speaker 1: This song coming up is dedicated to Woody and Gina. Okay,
- 2:03:07Speaker 1: we're going to stay in a hotel. We're doing two
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: thousand and nine hotel service Pitbull.
- 2:03:13Speaker 14: The show.
- 2:03:22Speaker 1: Up in the club with DJ t.
- 2:03:24Speaker 3: Mayah Pitbull, especially for Woody and for Gina.
- 2:03:29Speaker 1: Yes, how did that feel great? Yeah? I felt it
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: was just suiting for the moment.
- 2:03:35Speaker 3: Would have made it feel better. But we'll do that soon.
- 2:03:40Speaker 1: Yeah, do it. And then Hart working man in show biz,
- 2:03:44Speaker 1: he really is. I mean he's really like doing concerus
- 2:03:47Speaker 1: and you would still buy a ticket to go see Pitbull. Yeah,
- 2:03:49Speaker 1: and he'll do anything for you too.
- 2:03:51Speaker 3: Well, that's good to know. We'll see you in a
- 2:03:55Speaker 3: week when we all reunite with the entire gang.
- 2:03:58Speaker 1: Yep, actually, before we reunite, we're going to reunite.
- 2:04:02Speaker 3: Disney at Disney. I am so are you ready?
- 2:04:07Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I'm born, born, ready, born, ready, I
- 2:04:10Speaker 1: wait for this. Yes, thank you, Tim Gea, thank you
- 2:04:17Speaker 1: one third of the Woody Show.
- 2:04:21Speaker 3: Buila wouldn't approve the wood Show, and that's going to
- 2:04:25Speaker 3: do it for a throwback Thursday here on The Woody Show. Yeah,
- 2:04:28Speaker 3: Woody and Gina both live again with us tomorrow. They
- 2:04:32Speaker 3: will be in Baton Rouge by that point. Today it
- 2:04:35Speaker 3: was kind of a redemption MENACE's Secret Game. Yes, the
- 2:04:38Speaker 3: new and improved version.
- 2:04:41Speaker 5: I like it.
- 2:04:42Speaker 3: I think it'll be coming back in the future. Yes,
- 2:04:44Speaker 3: thank you, although we might need a little bit of
- 2:04:46Speaker 3: time to recover. Talked about some things that seemed fancy
- 2:04:50Speaker 3: when you were young, but in retrospect not that fancy.
- 2:04:54Speaker 3: This week in audio courtesy of Sea Bass that was
- 2:04:57Speaker 3: always fun. Tomorrow on the show, like I mentioned, and
- 2:05:00Speaker 3: Gina back live with us with some headlines, talking about
- 2:05:04Speaker 3: some secrets and Friday fail stories, and of course the
- 2:05:07Speaker 3: DUIQ and so much more. The giveaways for the takeover
- 2:05:13Speaker 3: at Disney California Adventure Park continue today and then tomorrow.
- 2:05:17Speaker 3: Remember we have the ticket window opening up, so we're
- 2:05:19Speaker 3: giving away a ton of tickets on The Woody Show

- 2:05:31Speaker 3: haven't gotten your five packs yet. Your chances are still
- 2:05:34Speaker 3: very much alive. But again, it's happening Monday, so it's dwindling.
- 2:05:39Speaker 3: Time is running out, So we'll catch you back here
