- 2:14Speaker 1: We didn't talk about this in our in my thing,
- 2:16Speaker 1: but I thought it was so smart to make remiic
- 2:18Speaker 1: Irish and stuff, just like a clan member. It would
- 2:20Speaker 1: have just been immediately a full race movie. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 1: Remick really was like, I gotta preserve my culture. You
- 2:26Speaker 1: still have the colonialism of the Irish and stuff like that.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Assimilation. There's a lot of things you want to go
- 2:30Speaker 2: down that path. A little connection there. And they got
- 2:32Speaker 2: the good music.
- 2:33Speaker 1: The music connecting piece was good and Lokiah and hold
- 2:36Speaker 1: your riggs. Band was getting off picked that his band.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we're just trying to play. They they was
- 2:41Speaker 1: going in.
- 2:42Speaker 2: They had some heat, the ROI rob.
- 2:47Speaker 1: They was going the folks song, boy, the folk song.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Remick was like helvely like.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Full. Let me see.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I got the soundtrack on my phone. Yeah, man, he
- 2:59Speaker 1: had the thing.
- 3:00Speaker 2: What was it?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Something that Dublin Rocky Road to Dublin me Boy remix
- 3:06Speaker 1: said bar Finner get out you boy, Finny go crazy
- 3:10Speaker 1: big ram on the beat, no music, let me go.
- 3:14Speaker 2: No track all sad.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Let me start with the old Irish.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Subling and doubling.
- 3:25Speaker 1: He added all kinds of syllables in the now to
- 3:28Speaker 1: be coming in this movie was so well. Ben and
- 3:32Speaker 1: you you know, even mentioned man Ludwig, Oh man, Ludwig
- 3:37Speaker 1: is on his mind. Zimmer he is. I thought no
- 3:42Speaker 1: one would ever touch Hans Zimmer to me, I was
- 3:45Speaker 1: like nobody's ever.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Gonna Hans zimmer Is what's his name do?
- 3:48Speaker 1: Who did Star Wars? Uh Is John something, John Williams.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Williams is another one that who passed away in a
- 3:57Speaker 2: plane crash.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Richie Vallence.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It was a music it was a music film composer
- 4:06Speaker 2: that I can't think of his name right now, but buddy, Yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 2: but he's up there with with.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Him and Ryan, Like I was watching this clip Horner, Yes,
- 4:18Speaker 1: James Horner. So you know when Annie uh, she's striking
- 4:24Speaker 1: the match very first scene you might not remember. It's
- 4:27Speaker 1: a small he timed the guitar pluck the strings to
- 4:32Speaker 1: her match hit. I was like, I remember when I
- 4:37Speaker 1: was watching one of the things on Creed he made
- 4:39Speaker 1: a beat with boxing punching sounds. He like recorded somebody
- 4:44Speaker 1: punching a heavy bag and made a beat with that.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 4:47Speaker 1: He's so integral to the story. He always brings a
- 4:50Speaker 1: lot musically to sing her to anything he does him
- 4:55Speaker 1: Michael B. Jordan's Bryan Coogler Ludwig.
- 4:59Speaker 2: That's a good little oh Man, that little trio.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Right then, I saw this tweets, so somebody said Ryan
- 5:03Speaker 1: Corulier probably Michael Jordan's to be like Nigga and Michael
- 5:07Speaker 1: Jordan' be like, I either gotta fight somebody or grow
- 5:09Speaker 1: my hair out. We're gonna be making a movie. And
- 5:11Speaker 1: I feel like that's what he That's probably what he do.
- 5:13Speaker 1: But they make good movies. They found their music, Yes,
- 5:17Speaker 1: found it.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I love it. I love I love the actor director collaborations.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Love it. Sorry, sinners my movie. You're up all right,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I'm gonna save what you call it for you you
- 5:28Speaker 2: ain't seen them. I'm gonna go. Blade. You gonna take
- 5:31Speaker 2: that one. You know I'm gonna snatch it from you.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Blade is up there for sure. Blade kicked out the
- 5:37Speaker 2: whole comic book movie franchise.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Doesn't get enough credit for the MCU.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I don't get enough credit. But as a vampire movie, man,
- 5:44Speaker 2: it's a good ass time rated R rated R gritty.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Blade is a fully realized character that's just like, yo, man,
- 5:53Speaker 2: this is what I do and why do it? A Walker?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Super dope Blade. I got Blade one and two together.
- 5:59Speaker 2: They're both like equally just like dope and he got it.
- 6:03Speaker 2: In the sequel, he gotta work with the vampires that
- 6:06Speaker 2: he can't stand and they don't like him.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So it's just like Chris Christofferson, Yeah, man, Chris Christopherson.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I didn't grow up reading comics.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I know Tony you did.
- 6:16Speaker 1: So when Blade came out, I was like, and Blade
- 6:19Speaker 1: didn't have no cartoon.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Who was this guy? So I was like, he might
- 6:22Speaker 2: have showed up on the Spider Man animated series, but
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'm not sure. Yeah, but he's always just been like
- 6:26Speaker 2: a side little beak here.
- 6:28Speaker 1: And that's the thing. That's that's what Marvel did well
- 6:30Speaker 1: with Iron Man. They were like, we don't have we
- 6:34Speaker 1: don't have Spider Man, we don't have our main guys,
- 6:37Speaker 1: but Blade, and I feel like it was a minute
- 6:40Speaker 1: after Blade came out till another superhero movie came out.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It was just like Blade was ninety eight and then
- 6:46Speaker 1: was it ninety eight?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah? When when when two come out? Blade two came
- 6:50Speaker 2: out and might have been two thousand and two thousand
- 6:53Speaker 2: and one.
- 6:54Speaker 1: So wait, when did when did Captain America the Perston
- 6:57Speaker 1: Avenger come out?
- 6:58Speaker 2: Oh shit, twenty ten, probably two thousand and nine, ten somewhere,
- 7:04Speaker 2: But iron Man iron Man was two thousand and seven,
- 7:06Speaker 2: right in two thousand.
- 7:06Speaker 1: And eight, because the first of the MCU was Iron
- 7:09Speaker 1: Man right of the MCU.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Oh, actually, wasn't that long.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I thought it was way longer between Blade and Iron Man.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I mean it's a long time. It's ten years, damn near.
- 7:20Speaker 2: So they said iron Man was two six, No, iron
- 7:23Speaker 2: Man was either seven or eight. Okay, so eight oh,
- 7:27Speaker 2: two thousand and eight, so that's years. Yeah, okay, but
- 7:30Speaker 2: you had but you had spider Man and in between
- 7:32Speaker 2: X Men.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but that ain't MCU neither Blade. No, no, no,
- 7:37Speaker 1: I know, I'm saying. Blade was what they pointed to,
- 7:40Speaker 1: like we spider Man and X Men, you can everybody knows.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You can make movies with those people. Oh yeah, but.
- 7:44Speaker 1: What they learned with Blade is if we can make
- 7:46Speaker 1: a movie with Blade, then we could do it with
- 7:49Speaker 1: Iron Man. Like I say, Spider Man, niggaf you can't
- 7:52Speaker 1: make a movie with that, then you shouldn't be in business.
- 7:54Speaker 2: But it was still it was still risky because comics
- 7:57Speaker 2: book movies was taking airs. No, no, that's true. If it
- 8:00Speaker 2: wasn't a Superman or Batman, they was getting the ass kicked.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Like Blade came out and was like oh ship yeah,
- 8:07Speaker 2: Blade is so then they got the ball rolling on
- 8:09Speaker 2: X Men.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Spider Man was after that, and Wesley Snipes
- 8:13Speaker 1: is Blade.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yes.
- 8:15Speaker 1: The only person that I would accept after that was
- 8:18Speaker 1: my Herschelo.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I was like before the people that were roomored, I was.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Like, man, he got a vampire quality.
- 8:24Speaker 1: To du Wesley has the sharp like, the hair like
- 8:29Speaker 1: he was in his face. He looked. Damn heeric.
- 8:33Speaker 2: He was so good. He was just he was perfect. Man,
- 8:38Speaker 2: he was perfect.
- 8:39Speaker 1: He hasn't had a great career and the range of
- 8:43Speaker 1: things he's.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Done, his range is crazy about his range enough enough man?
- 8:48Speaker 1: Uh white Man Camp, White Man Camp Jump.
- 8:53Speaker 2: New Jack City? Jack you take if you take New
- 8:56Speaker 2: Jack City to his character in White Man can Jump
- 8:59Speaker 2: this day and night and in the Major League before both.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Of those, Yes, Willie Mays, Hey.
- 9:04Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. So it was just like
- 9:07Speaker 2: I was.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Gonna bring up thank you so much Julie Valentine or
- 9:10Speaker 1: something Julie Newmar with Patrick Swayzee.
- 9:13Speaker 2: And then he.
- 9:14Speaker 1: One of my favorite movies. I would not argue to
- 9:16Speaker 1: a good movie. I don't care him as Simon Phoenix
- 9:19Speaker 1: Demolition Man.
- 9:20Speaker 2: He was a great villain.
- 9:21Speaker 1: He was a great villain. He was perfect counter to uh,
- 9:25Speaker 1: selvester Stallone. Then he goes Blade.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Then he got the grounded movies where he's not action
- 9:31Speaker 2: or he's not super funny. He's like jungle fever. You
- 9:34Speaker 2: got him be more better blues, you got disappearing acts
- 9:37Speaker 2: with you know what I'm saying. His little cameo and
- 9:40Speaker 2: waiting exhil it was just like great, he could do it.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And then True Story with Kevin hart Man, he was great.
- 9:45Speaker 2: That he was. He was great.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Kevin hart was also great on that. Kevin Harden a
- 9:50Speaker 1: good dramatic that's his classic to me, a true story
- 9:55Speaker 1: and the woman the up side, he was low muted
- 10:02Speaker 1: calf your keV in a Fight Night, Fight Night, Chicken Man.
- 10:06Speaker 1: That was the best use of both of.
- 10:08Speaker 2: His Kevin hard and Fight Night Man. His acting performance
- 10:12Speaker 2: was five dog great.
- 10:15Speaker 1: He gets too much flat for me.
- 10:17Speaker 2: He was he was playing that role. He was scared,
- 10:19Speaker 2: he was confident, he was sugar. I was believing all everything. Yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 2: because he was.
- 10:24Speaker 1: He was he was over his head. Yeah, he wasn't
- 10:26Speaker 1: really with the gangsters like that, Like right when the
- 10:29Speaker 1: Miami Dude came if Sam Jackson, like it was going
- 10:32Speaker 1: to be over that.
- 10:32Speaker 2: When he was pleading for his life at gunpoint crying.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I was like, Yo, this is this cat great Kevin
- 10:39Speaker 2: Hard don't get his.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Just he man's funny and coats balls.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Oh man, he's hilarious on me. All right, I'm going
- 10:45Speaker 2: Lost Boys. I knew. I believe big surprise.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I feel like that was my first. That gotta be
- 10:54Speaker 1: the first I saw eighty seven. What the hell was
- 10:59Speaker 1: I doing watching that? I was all in.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It was great appeal to the kids. Huh yes, and
- 11:06Speaker 2: Jason Patrick, Corey, Corey Haynes, Corey felon to Corey Jamie
- 11:11Speaker 2: Girds is in there.
- 11:13Speaker 1: That's Dane Vampires, Lost Boys. You got the Wooden State, Yes,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you got the red blood. That blood was like, yes,

- 11:25Speaker 2: There's just keep a settling, that's what he said.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Oh, join said, join us. Michel was an actor.
- 11:32Speaker 2: That was an actor. Join us, Michael was join us, Mike,
- 11:37Speaker 2: let me look up, got a great resume, Join us, Michael.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Lost Boys was fire man Corey. Those Coreys have been
- 11:48Speaker 1: famous forever. I love the Corys ever since.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Corey Felman. I wanted to be him. I wanted to
- 11:54Speaker 2: be Corey Felman man. I wanted to be the Frog
- 11:58Speaker 2: Brothers and yeah, man, good like it's not been around
- 12:01Speaker 2: for a minute. Yeah he was young. He's always younger
- 12:03Speaker 2: than you thought he was. He she was young when
- 12:06Speaker 2: he was like in Lost Boys, Young Guns and stuff
- 12:09Speaker 2: like that, Young God, Young Guns, Amilio as Man.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I love that movie. Diamond Phillips, Dog, did you know
- 12:18Speaker 1: he's Filipino.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he's all kind of stuff. He's all, he's not.
- 12:22Speaker 2: He's not Mexican though.
- 12:23Speaker 1: No. And Rufio, the dude played Rufio. People thought he
- 12:27Speaker 1: was Mexican. I don't know how he looks.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I thought he was. Yeah, he's Filipino.
- 12:31Speaker 1: As well, but I had no idea he was Mexican.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Thought he was apparently he's played a lot of Mexican
- 12:36Speaker 1: characters in his movie. Really and the stuff I hadn't
- 12:38Speaker 1: seen Dante Bascote Basco, he was in in Rufio and
- 12:43Speaker 1: Rufio in Hook. I was like, I didn't get Mexican
- 12:47Speaker 1: at all. No, I thought it was some type of Asian.
- 12:49Speaker 1: But anyway, Lou Diamond Phillips, I did not know what
- 12:52Speaker 1: was because he was he was slicked back a lot,
- 12:54Speaker 1: and he was And he also played Richie Vallence.
- 12:56Speaker 2: He played Richie val Mexican American and that's this was
- 13:00Speaker 2: Native American and a young gun and that's what I'm saying.
- 13:03Speaker 2: And I was like, he's Filipino. I believe it every time,
- 13:06Speaker 2: but I was like, Yo, this is a Filipino.
- 13:07Speaker 1: This a little day just found out he's Filipino for
- 13:09Speaker 1: other stuff.
- 13:10Speaker 2: That's why. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah whatever.

- 15:41Speaker 2: love that one you saw it? No, I was about
- 15:43Speaker 2: to say Near Dark is a is a fantastics directed
- 15:48Speaker 2: by Katherine Bigelow, who did a point break. Yeah, she
- 15:53Speaker 2: was in a lot of movies. We love. She's the director. Man,
- 15:57Speaker 2: you saw a point break? Yeah, that's the point break
- 15:59Speaker 2: and the herd line and locker love.
- 16:02Speaker 1: The hurt locker, the fact that he was at the
- 16:04Speaker 1: grocery store and he was just like, this is boy man,
- 16:09Speaker 1: and then he cuts right back to the I said, man,
- 16:12Speaker 1: you just got out of there. You couldn't take the regularly.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Take the mundane man, take the Monday, take the mundane
- 16:18Speaker 2: and keeps you alive. But Near Dark, man, this is
- 16:21Speaker 2: one of the Lost Boys, is all fun. Yeah, the
- 16:23Speaker 2: vampires were kind of scary, but they were also kind
- 16:25Speaker 2: of cool, like you kind of wanted to hang with
- 16:28Speaker 2: keep yourselveing them and like, all right they but they
- 16:31Speaker 2: kill people, but yeah, they're cool. Near Dark they were terrifying.
- 16:36Speaker 2: They were like, nah, man, they look like people. When
- 16:39Speaker 2: they walk in. You were like, let's get the hell
- 16:42Speaker 2: out of your care. Somebody just said that creepy as
- 16:44Speaker 2: the hell. Man. There's a scene in Near Dark. It's
- 16:48Speaker 2: one of the scariest vampire scenes where they go to
- 16:51Speaker 2: this bar and they kill everybody in the bar. They
- 16:55Speaker 2: just it's like the scene in Bronxtail, only its vampire
- 16:58Speaker 2: is killing you and it was just like Bill Paxton
- 17:01Speaker 2: is in it. He's terrifying in this. Yeah, and so
- 17:06Speaker 2: they just terrorize these people in this bar and it's
- 17:09Speaker 2: just like he's cants as scary as hell. So Dear
- 17:13Speaker 2: Dog came out at the same time as Lost Boys,
- 17:15Speaker 2: but it just got overshadowed. But Near Dog on my
- 17:18Speaker 2: list would shown.
- 17:19Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna go from dust till dawn okay,
- 17:23Speaker 1: love it.
- 17:24Speaker 2: What are a few of you.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Saw George Clooney, He is just great. We saw his
- 17:31Speaker 1: house in Italy. Oh my god, he bought man.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Oh y'all went up to the house. We was up.
- 17:38Speaker 2: It's on Lake Como.
- 17:40Speaker 1: He bought the house. First of all, lake Como looks
- 17:46Speaker 1: like a postcard, like it looks unreal. And the guy,
- 17:50Speaker 1: the guy was telling us like, he was like, it's
- 17:52Speaker 1: basically filthy rich people here. And then Italian people who
- 17:56Speaker 1: were like, I would never sell my house and when
- 17:58Speaker 1: I die, it will stay in our house, in our
- 18:00Speaker 1: family for generations. Yeah, so George Clooney bought that house.
- 18:05Speaker 1: First of all, I didn't know George clean was getting
- 18:06Speaker 1: twenty million a film.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, he's up there in the high salary. Did
- 18:11Speaker 2: not know.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So apparently he took one of his twenty millions. Think
- 18:13Speaker 1: it was one of the Ocean's eleven things. He bought
- 18:15Speaker 1: it for like five million, and me he just basically
- 18:18Speaker 1: capched a movie. Checking was like the house and in
- 18:21Speaker 1: the owner of Hines Ketchup had a house next to them,
- 18:27Speaker 1: and then the person who started Versace the house next
- 18:31Speaker 1: to them, and then like Gucci owned the house like
- 18:34Speaker 1: the people who started Gucci was like.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Did they come after George or before?
- 18:39Speaker 1: They were all before George. It was like all the
- 18:41Speaker 1: Gucci Versace people, they were there for generation.
- 18:45Speaker 2: He was able just to get it for five.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like five. Maybe it was ten. It
- 18:49Speaker 1: was ten, but it was early, like late nineties. That's
- 18:52Speaker 1: when I didn't he was making twenty million earlier.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I didn't know. Well he So Ocean's eleven was like
- 18:58Speaker 2: two thousand and one from us still was the kickoff
- 19:00Speaker 2: of his movie career. So that was ninety six, So
- 19:07Speaker 2: that's what kicked off the career. He was already getting
- 19:09Speaker 2: a good er money, yeah, getting good TV money, and
- 19:11Speaker 2: so that's when he transitioned. That's when he left er.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I'm out, y'all moved and then by the time he
- 19:17Speaker 2: got the Ocean's eleven, Ocean's eleven was probably his biggest
- 19:19Speaker 2: payday at that time. So that's what two thousand and one.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Yep, they said he bought it with the oceans eleven
- 19:23Speaker 1: money got you, man, and he just never They was
- 19:26Speaker 1: like you see him. He'd be riding his motorcycle and
- 19:28Speaker 1: stuff over there. He'd be over there, and you know,
- 19:30Speaker 1: he got the cosgos Brad. Yeah, so he has.
- 19:32Speaker 2: So he's been in that same house still this whole time.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I mean, he don't be living there all the time,
- 19:36Speaker 1: but he's one of his own vacations in Lake Como, Italy.
- 19:39Speaker 1: And I was like, man, Dang Forsachi, Gucci, George Clooney,
- 19:43Speaker 1: Hin's owner, and then just Italian people who've lived there.
- 19:47Speaker 2: So y'all got close to them.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it was right there on the lake, like you
- 19:51Speaker 1: can't see him. Their good but it was right there.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Did they see him in their way? Seen them?
- 19:55Speaker 1: I was like George, Yeorge security guard Tack.
- 19:58Speaker 2: The very generous guy too, Man, I like the most
- 20:01Speaker 2: ansom man. She But back to from Dust Till Dawn? Yeah,
- 20:05Speaker 2: you're right, so did you really see it? Yeah, there's no.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I don't think there's any Quentin Tarantina movie I haven't
- 20:13Speaker 1: seen I have since except from Once Upon a Time
- 20:17Speaker 1: in Hollywood?
- 20:18Speaker 2: Was that Robert Rodrigue's movie? But keep going from Once
- 20:22Speaker 2: upon Time? From Dust Till Dawn's Robert.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Oh, you're right, I'm confused watching But no, I'm sorry, okay,
- 20:30Speaker 1: because I was.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I was.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I didn't realize that was George Queen's first movie.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Not necessarily his first movie, but that was his first
- 20:37Speaker 2: like breakout, breakout starring because he was in some low
- 20:40Speaker 2: budget stuff. What did Desperado come out?
- 20:41Speaker 1: Because I feel like it was around that time five Okay,
- 20:43Speaker 1: see I was like I remember, I was like, man,
- 20:45Speaker 1: that's making a lot.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Of Robert did al Mady the Sheet, then he did Desperado,
- 20:50Speaker 2: and then from Dust Still Dawn was his you know,
- 20:53Speaker 2: so he directed all of them. Yes, those three. That's why.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That's why Desperado feels like that to me.
- 20:58Speaker 1: See, man, I be knowing, but.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I love this parade. I love seeing that movie a
- 21:03Speaker 2: lot too. By the way, Loki, it could have been
- 21:05Speaker 2: in my thing. Yeah, because he had that guitar. Give
- 21:09Speaker 2: me the guitar, Give me the guitar. I love that movie.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I can watch that movie anytime it's on. I'm like this, it.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Is absolutely insul But go ahead, Oh we can come
- 21:21Speaker 1: back to her from Us Till Dawn when she had
- 21:24Speaker 1: that snake man, Pubert even did me well, God said dang.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I know straight from black women often, but she was unreal.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Told I was like, come on now, God, you can't,
- 21:38Speaker 1: you can't do all that. I'm a child. I'm twelve thirteen, Max,
- 21:43Speaker 1: you see me about her, honey, y'all.
- 21:48Speaker 2: It comes to the point like because I remember seeing
- 21:50Speaker 2: that in the movie Theater and she was dancing with
- 21:53Speaker 2: the snake, I felt like I was in the club
- 21:56Speaker 2: as well. I was totally just mesmerized by everything that
- 22:02Speaker 2: was going on. I was just like, was she was?
- 22:08Speaker 2: She she put the foot up and then she poured
- 22:10Speaker 2: the poured the drink down her leg into the I
- 22:13Speaker 2: was just like, let me be Quentin Tarantino right now
- 22:17Speaker 2: in this.
- 22:18Speaker 1: You don't even deserve that.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I know he got a thing for feet, so I
- 22:24Speaker 2: know that during that saying he was like, Robert, anything
- 22:28Speaker 2: you need.
- 22:29Speaker 1: You seen those dude, when Jenna Jackson was tying.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Yes, I know that was Quinn during that Oh my god,
- 22:38Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm gonna put that foot on his mouth.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I'm sure he was just like, this is it? That's
- 22:47Speaker 2: scene was crazy from I'm still doing. It's like two
- 22:50Speaker 2: different movies in one though. It is You Got the Hide.
- 22:52Speaker 2: The first half is like them on the Lamb. Yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you know, George Clooney, you're handling business, serious business, his
- 22:59Speaker 2: creepy as brother. You get the loyalty there, and then
- 23:03Speaker 2: it's just the Harvey Kottails family. You hold them hostage,
- 23:07Speaker 2: the sweatiness of like they're gonna make it through customs?
- 23:10Speaker 2: Are they gonna make it through? You know what I'm saying.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Then we happened upon this bar. There's just a haven
- 23:15Speaker 2: for they get the truckers and then they just they
- 23:18Speaker 2: get you. And then after that it turned into a
- 23:20Speaker 2: completely different movie. It was like a B movie. The
- 23:24Speaker 2: vampires dying easy, just throw them on the table leg.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I was like, ripper is hard out there and put
- 23:32Speaker 2: the pencil in it. Robert Riquez be doing that though,
- 23:35Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying.
- 23:36Speaker 1: He be getting him and Quentin they be getting cartoony
- 23:39Speaker 1: with the for sure that the shotgun blasting Jangles like
- 23:43Speaker 1: all right, oh yeah, okay, this is this is too much.
- 23:47Speaker 2: They're gonna crank it up man, because they love B movies. Man.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Robert Rodriguez is one of my main influences to like.
- 23:54Speaker 2: He influenced me to apply for film school. He influenced
- 23:57Speaker 2: me to go really pursue acting, accept it. But I
- 24:02Speaker 2: applied because he made me feel like, yo, I could
- 24:05Speaker 2: do this because I wanted to make stuff. And then
- 24:09Speaker 2: I was just like yo, Robert and he's always like
- 24:11Speaker 2: I would listen to his commentaries and all that to
- 24:13Speaker 2: be like, man, you can really you really did that
- 24:16Speaker 2: on this And so yeah, okay, I'm gonna go with
- 24:24Speaker 2: interview with the Vampire is too easy. I'm gonna go
- 24:27Speaker 2: with Fright Night. Fright Night from the eighties. I watched
- 24:30Speaker 2: that movie lot. I know you ain't seen it, but
- 24:33Speaker 2: he probably didn't even see the remake. But Fright Night
- 24:36Speaker 2: was a good ass time. Like. It had a kid
- 24:38Speaker 2: in there, Brewster and his friend Evil and and the
- 24:44Speaker 2: man they moved in on they block next door, and
- 24:46Speaker 2: he was a vampire and they just wouldn't leave this
- 24:49Speaker 2: man alone until he was like, all right, y'all want
- 24:52Speaker 2: to keep sucking with me? And then the man on
- 24:56Speaker 2: TV that he thought was a real vampire, Yo, I'm
- 24:59Speaker 2: just not the man I need you. Man, I'm living
- 25:03Speaker 2: next door to a vampire. Friday Night was just a
- 25:05Speaker 2: good ass comedy. No, it's a horror movie, but it's
- 25:09Speaker 2: got comedic elements within it, but total eighties time capsule,
- 25:14Speaker 2: but it was dope. CHRISA. Randon played the vampire. He
- 25:18Speaker 2: was in the You See Child's Play. Yes, he was
- 25:22Speaker 2: also in the Princess Bride, romanic comedy, romantic comedy. You know,
- 25:27Speaker 2: so Friday Night is up in there.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Why you ain't take an interview with a vampire out?
- 25:30Speaker 2: I took it out, but it's still in there. But
- 25:32Speaker 2: it's just too easy. That's what I was gonna pick
- 25:34Speaker 2: because because you saw it. Yeah, man, because you saw Okay,
- 25:38Speaker 2: you don't want that Hotel Transylvania. Nah, man, get the
- 25:41Speaker 2: cartoons out of here, Get the cartoons.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Interview, interview the vampire was what I was gonna say. Uh,
- 25:49Speaker 1: that was Brad. What where he was at early ninety
- 25:55Speaker 1: four four? Yeah, he was big, dreamy. I feel like
- 25:59Speaker 1: he was in a lot of movies with soft focus.
- 26:02Speaker 1: He was always looking like they always had him looking
- 26:05Speaker 1: like fabio type of something, And this movie is exactly
- 26:08Speaker 1: like that's this one.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Meet Joe Black.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Even though he was like that's a darker tone of
- 26:13Speaker 1: a movie, he was just.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Like, I'm Brad, I'm the most handsome man last. Yeah.
- 26:19Speaker 1: But I feel like it was such a foundational vampire movie.
- 26:23Speaker 1: It has to be included in the vampire movies. I
- 26:26Speaker 1: think they got a TV show going.
- 26:29Speaker 2: He is really good. I haven't seen it, seen it.
- 26:31Speaker 1: It's got the dude I like from Gaming Thrones on
- 26:33Speaker 1: there the dude who was the unsully main guy.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Y'all keep saying lost. Was we already did? We said lost,
- 26:39Speaker 2: you're coming in here, lad, the man lost give.
- 26:42Speaker 1: It sevening man Donald Seven's baby.
- 26:43Speaker 2: We already know that by the words.
- 26:46Speaker 1: So the Sage Guard children, they got their whole families.
- 26:49Speaker 2: In the movies.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Yeah, the daddy, the dad, the all Bill beaterr.
- 26:54Speaker 2: This got like four of them. Well, no, it's not one.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Scar's Guard is not related to them. Wha you're talking
- 27:01Speaker 2: about that one actor there's been in mad stuff, Peter
- 27:05Speaker 2: Peter Scarter. No, I don't think he's related to that.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Yeah, he's married to Yeah, he's good though, he's good
- 27:15Speaker 1: and everything.
- 27:16Speaker 2: I see him, man, but he's not related. Dang, I
- 27:19Speaker 2: show put him with them. He's because it's so close.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I get it.
- 27:24Speaker 1: There's no ca though.
- 27:26Speaker 2: No, that's how it gets you, man.
- 27:28Speaker 1: And I was thinking, I was like, I don't remember him. Yeah,
- 27:31Speaker 1: but I thought I was tripping. He don't even have
- 27:33Speaker 1: the same what's the first. Alexander is the he's Alexander.
- 27:39Speaker 1: The dad is Alexander, right, No stealing Scars Dad Alexander,
- 27:46Speaker 1: and then Billennise penny Wise and so Peter is somebody
- 27:53Speaker 1: hand the Crow?
- 27:54Speaker 2: Unfortunately the crowd did. But I'm telling you, man, leave
- 28:02Speaker 2: movies alone. Cap, I didn't know he was in. Also,
- 28:06Speaker 2: the Crow came out, and when ninety four with another movie,
- 28:12Speaker 2: Shaw Shake Redemption. But no, but no, right, Cam, No man?
- 28:18Speaker 2: Three years? Right, it's okay to remake the Crow. Big, Yes,
- 28:23Speaker 2: it was big.
- 28:23Speaker 1: That was Brandon Something was Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee Baby, Yeah,
- 28:27Speaker 1: he died on that he did. I shouldn't do that
- 28:30Speaker 1: for that reason.
- 28:30Speaker 2: No, Man, watch out.
- 28:33Speaker 1: They've remade Thirty years is a long time. Watch out, man,
- 28:37Speaker 1: thirty years is long.
- 28:39Speaker 2: I just feel like thirty every movie don't need to
- 28:42Speaker 2: be remade. What movie can be remade? Then? What movie
- 28:46Speaker 2: can be?
- 28:47Speaker 1: What movies would that you've seen that you feel like this.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Can be remade? Now a remake? Yes, I don't look
- 28:59Speaker 2: at movie.
- 29:00Speaker 1: He's to be remade. You think we should always look
- 29:03Speaker 1: at him forever.
- 29:06Speaker 2: You could do a sequel, you can do a prequel,
- 29:08Speaker 2: you can do you know what I'm saying, But like, remove,
- 29:11Speaker 2: Why we remaking something?
- 29:12Speaker 1: They've been remaking Batman forever?
- 29:14Speaker 2: Why remake White man can't jump. According to your logic,
- 29:18Speaker 2: it's been thirty year. It's been thirty yea. Why they
- 29:23Speaker 2: can't jump came out nothing to two. They can remake it.
- 29:27Speaker 2: They remade it. What happened?
- 29:30Speaker 1: The thing about that is, man, you don't believe Jack
- 29:34Speaker 1: Harlowe can't hold it.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Don't even matter, nah remade.
- 29:38Speaker 1: The white men were winning the MVP at that time,
- 29:41Speaker 1: like Larry Bird felt like an anomaly more. It was like,
- 29:45Speaker 1: that's just Larry Bird. But Woody Harrelson did not look
- 29:48Speaker 1: like he could. I buy that. Woody Harrelson could be
- 29:51Speaker 1: scamming you out of money for sure, Jack Harlowe, Woody
- 29:55Speaker 1: Harrelson look way older than he is in that movie,
- 29:58Speaker 1: so I don't buy he's with Rose Red even more
- 30:00Speaker 1: than the hooping part.
- 30:01Speaker 2: But I digres that.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Hell no, Harelson, No, I mean, like in the movie
- 30:07Speaker 1: made sense, But Whaty Harrelson?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Hell no? What else said?
- 30:11Speaker 1: They ain't getting no Russie parades or not? Not on
- 30:14Speaker 1: my watch.
- 30:15Speaker 2: It's bald. She was with Spike Lee and do the
- 30:18Speaker 2: right thing.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I don't like when men cast women they can't normally get.
- 30:22Speaker 2: I think that's a thing.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Adam Sander does that like, you're not, She's not.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Who else talking about? Who are you talking about? Adam Sandler?
- 30:33Speaker 2: Who he been with? What movie are you talking about?
- 30:36Speaker 2: Am I talk about Adam Simon? So Adam Sandler. He
- 30:39Speaker 2: was with a little girl from Modern Family and Happy Gilmore.
- 30:43Speaker 1: He had we was with Queen Tiva one time too.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Jennifer Aniston A lot too, Jennifer Aniston.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Hell no, Adam, I'm buy that. Actually funny people can't get.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, Jennifer Anderson used to stay the dude from County Crows.
- 30:55Speaker 2: He was regular, but eis a rock star though Adam
- 30:59Speaker 2: Sandler's rock stuff in comedy. He's a folk hero. What
- 31:03Speaker 2: was I saying before that? What Harrelson? The thing? Rosie?
- 31:08Speaker 1: I don't buy it. I don't care what you say.
- 31:10Speaker 1: But in the movie I did.
- 31:11Speaker 2: By ladies, y'all like Woody Heilson. Think about young Woody? Yeah? Man?
- 31:16Speaker 1: What what what he had going?
- 31:18Speaker 2: You got a good looking dude? Is he think it
- 31:22Speaker 2: was ugly? Am I tripping? Kevin James is different? Woody
- 31:27Speaker 2: Harrelson was cute.
- 31:28Speaker 1: He's adorable. Smashed door was not a good thing for
- 31:33Speaker 1: a man.
- 31:34Speaker 2: But adorable. He can get you in the door.
- 31:37Speaker 1: You can't smash adorable, then you can nah cute, you
- 31:40Speaker 1: can smashed the door was like, oh man, let's go
- 31:43Speaker 1: on a walk. You don't want to be adorable unless
- 31:46Speaker 1: you're a child or a teddy bear or a small dog.
- 31:49Speaker 2: As a man, you like.
- 31:51Speaker 1: To think of it because of the gap the adorable
- 31:56Speaker 1: niggas the dude who gets the girl put it the
- 31:58Speaker 1: order at all.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that video has a video. He thought. He
- 32:02Speaker 2: was hollering, like.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I'm done for But anyway, the point I was making,
- 32:09Speaker 1: the reason that movie doesn't work is because that premise.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Is not believable anymore.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's really not believable with Jack Harlowe.
- 32:17Speaker 2: And it shouldn't have been remade.
- 32:19Speaker 1: That was saying, I agree with you on that. All
- 32:23Speaker 1: I was saying, it's thirty years. All I want to
- 32:26Speaker 1: say is like.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Some movies don't need to be remade.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Because a good remaking introduced it to a new audience.
- 32:33Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Thirty years have passed. That means
- 32:36Speaker 1: a person, it's very likely you ain't seen that movie
- 32:39Speaker 1: and you ain't gonna see it, and no remakes with
- 32:41Speaker 1: the Robinsons Ocean's eleven, you.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Gotta you gotta you gotta remake stuff this low key
- 32:47Speaker 2: that's all you want because because there's no there's no
- 32:51Speaker 2: attachment to either it wasn't good. You can remake a
- 32:54Speaker 2: bad movie. Yeah, you're all fine with that. Yeah, if
- 32:57Speaker 2: the movie sucks, remake it, man, make it better. If
- 33:01Speaker 2: it sucks, sure, remaking. But if it's like you know,
- 33:06Speaker 2: because then then you're you're you're up against They remade
- 33:10Speaker 2: Psycho shot for shot for what. I don't think for what.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I don't think that should be. Remember I was pointless. Yeah,
- 33:20Speaker 2: let's remake Psycho shot for a shot. I'm with you
- 33:26Speaker 2: on that, watch Man. What movie did you just picked?
- 33:30Speaker 2: I picked? Uh?
- 33:31Speaker 1: Any vampire? Okay, it was fun time.
- 33:35Speaker 2: That was a good time. I like I like those movies.
- 33:37Speaker 2: I love I love those Hotel trans Technically he's a vampire.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I mean, technically, it's in the conversation.
- 33:44Speaker 1: It's in the conversation. I don't know why you want
- 33:45Speaker 1: to take it from.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Me just because it was a card. You said, did
- 33:50Speaker 2: you see Bram Stoker's Draccula?

- 34:25Speaker 1: heads off him in the newspaper. I was like, man,
- 34:29Speaker 1: this guy's crazy.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Man.
- 34:31Speaker 1: He was like, oh, I didn't see that coming ahead.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I will never forgive Helena Bonham Carter for that. I
- 34:40Speaker 1: just learned about that. She was about he gone, she disappears.
- 34:45Speaker 1: I was like, she's greating that, she's perfect. She is
- 34:49Speaker 1: a Tim Burton, not he's her dream.
- 34:52Speaker 2: She looks like a Tim burdon Creation.
- 34:54Speaker 1: She looks like a personified nightmare from Christmas person She
- 34:59Speaker 1: is a per in that movie. I was like, I
- 35:01Speaker 1: didn't know she was in it obviously. First of all,
- 35:03Speaker 1: a lot of people I didn't know, But she might
- 35:06Speaker 1: be one of the most perfect me cast people in
- 35:08Speaker 1: the whole universe, and I hate that dog on uh
- 35:12Speaker 1: teacher lady from the Crown.
- 35:14Speaker 2: I know what you're talking about. Nice person, but she's not.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Oh man, I wanted her to die hard. That fight
- 35:22Speaker 2: between Dumbledore and I'm a blanket on his name Baltimore. Yes, no,
- 35:32Speaker 2: the fight between Dumbledore, that fight they had was so good.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I didn't I just go watch it sometimes on YouTube.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Alan Rickman, he's not It did not register that he
- 35:44Speaker 1: was Hans Gruber. And he's so different as snap. He's
- 35:49Speaker 1: great the way he talks. Man, he was so good.
- 35:54Speaker 1: He was so complex, man, I was He tricked me
- 35:57Speaker 1: every time. I thought he was the villain in the
- 36:00Speaker 1: first one and it was the other guy. I mean,
- 36:02Speaker 1: they pulled. I was like this nigga work at hot
- 36:05Speaker 1: top of Heathenis and he didn't like Harry Potter, so
- 36:08Speaker 1: I was all in.
- 36:09Speaker 2: And then when he killed dumble Door.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I was like this nigga, And then it turns out
- 36:14Speaker 1: that was part of the plan. And then he loved
- 36:16Speaker 1: Harry Potter's mama but hated his dad, and Harry Potter's
- 36:18Speaker 1: dad was not a great person.
- 36:19Speaker 2: This James Potter was a little you know what I'm saying,
- 36:23Speaker 2: but anyway, we're getting off the top of it.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Carry old man is how we got it.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Vampire, brown Stokers, Dragon, Yes, did you see it? I
- 36:31Speaker 2: saw it. I don't think you so I saw it
- 36:33Speaker 2: for real? Did you see? Now? I'm just going by,
- 36:36Speaker 2: all right, So I'm gonna carry the rest. Carry the rest.
- 36:39Speaker 2: So let the right one in. Oh that's a movie. Yes,
- 36:45Speaker 2: that makes sense, and I will say this, okay, they
- 36:48Speaker 2: remade it. Ah, So I would give a pass to
- 36:52Speaker 2: when they remake movies that are foreign, I should say, okay,
- 36:57Speaker 2: like The Departed is a remake excellent?
- 37:00Speaker 1: So is the upside the upside.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Of the French joint with what's his name? Yes? Yeah,
- 37:08Speaker 2: So sometimes if it's a.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Foreign joint English or English the foreign, you don't mind.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I don't mind it. So if The Ring is a remake,
- 37:15Speaker 2: I loved it. I didn't know that The Ring is
- 37:18Speaker 2: a remake. That's a scared movie I saw, by the way. Yes, okay,
- 37:21Speaker 2: So so those are I'd be like, you know what
- 37:23Speaker 2: I'm saying, So let the right one in and let
- 37:25Speaker 2: me in are both good? I have heard of these movies,
- 37:28Speaker 2: all right. What we do in the Shadows is so
- 37:36Speaker 2: goddamn funny. Yes, it's about vampires, but it is. It's
- 37:42Speaker 2: like a documentary style. It is so good. They made
- 37:45Speaker 2: it into a series two, which is also equally good.
- 37:49Speaker 2: But the first movie is you gotta see I've never
- 37:52Speaker 2: seen what with TV comes from? Really? Yes?
- 37:57Speaker 1: I love Taka.
- 37:58Speaker 2: What we do in the Shadows, man, you gonna love it?
- 38:00Speaker 1: Is it his movie? Like he directed or wrote it?
- 38:03Speaker 2: He did right Clement, Jermaine Clement from A Light of
- 38:07Speaker 2: the Concord.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Love Flight of the Concord, What happened to them? They
- 38:11Speaker 1: don't make that show no more?
- 38:12Speaker 2: Nah, what we're doing in the Shadows, man, I've never
- 38:16Speaker 2: watched it. It's mad funny.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Blade makes a cameo in the show.
- 38:23Speaker 2: There's an episode with him. I get it. I gotta
- 38:25Speaker 2: tap back into the series. Oh man, it's so good
- 38:30Speaker 2: though the director miss that. It's so good man, what
- 38:34Speaker 2: we do in the.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Shadows, I'm gonna check that out. Tony ain't really send
- 38:37Speaker 1: me a movie that I didn't like.
- 38:38Speaker 2: I love you don't like that, man, The type of
- 38:40Speaker 2: humor is just man.
- 38:41Speaker 1: I like, Yeah, they didn't like what he did with
- 38:44Speaker 1: the Thor movie though, or.
- 38:45Speaker 2: The last one Loving Thunder I feel you. That's fair. Also,
- 38:49Speaker 2: goat iron legend here is it technically vampire? Who keeps
- 38:52Speaker 2: calling me? There are zombies, aren't they? They're technically vampires.
- 38:58Speaker 2: They Yeah, that's why they only come out in the night.
- 39:03Speaker 2: I could have said this.
- 39:04Speaker 1: I thought they were zombies this whole time, the van
- 39:07Speaker 1: peric something.
- 39:09Speaker 2: But it's not zombies.
- 39:10Speaker 1: They don't turn people though, or do they. It ain't
- 39:12Speaker 1: like bite the neck vampire and steaking the heart stuff.
- 39:15Speaker 2: They really didn't explain. Yeah, they turn you because the
- 39:18Speaker 2: dog turned. Is it biting the neck? Though?
- 39:22Speaker 1: In the nineteen fifties novel they were vampires.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I am legends based on the novel. Yeah, and they
- 39:29Speaker 2: made a movie out of it with a what's his
- 39:31Speaker 2: name Charlton Heston called the Omega Man or something. I
- 39:34Speaker 2: never knew this.
- 39:35Speaker 1: And then Charlton Heston was in the Planet of the Apes. Yes,
- 39:40Speaker 1: love being hit her yeap, his hair was gray.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Charlton hess was like he was. And then I mention
- 39:48Speaker 2: this as as another mentioned Thirty Days of Night. No
- 39:53Speaker 2: These these are probably some of the making up the
- 39:57Speaker 2: now Thirty Days a Night with Josh Hartnett. These, Yes,
- 40:02Speaker 2: how was this man? This is two thousand something. This
- 40:04Speaker 2: is right before he took his hiatus. But thirty days
- 40:07Speaker 2: a night and they was in Alaska. That makes sense.
- 40:11Speaker 2: So it was thirty days a night. And these vampires
- 40:14Speaker 2: are terrifying. They don't even speak English when they speaking here,
- 40:18Speaker 2: they just talking and stuff.
- 40:20Speaker 1: And he's like, that's how he was. Harry Potter was
- 40:24Speaker 1: talking to that snake.
- 40:25Speaker 2: This this movie.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Man, then vampires were scared. There we go, man, we
- 40:30Speaker 1: made it through tone, Yeah we did. Man, I've just
- 40:33Speaker 1: seen the big, big one. I avoid scared things for
- 40:35Speaker 1: the most part.
- 40:36Speaker 2: They don't like it. But he avoids romantic comedies.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I don't avoid him.
- 40:39Speaker 2: It just be they mean. Then you was right with me. Man,
- 40:41Speaker 2: don't turn on me. You don't like romantic comedies either, No,
- 40:45Speaker 2: I do. Oh you you be watching? You be watching
- 40:47Speaker 2: Made Manhattan. You keep going to that one. That's just
- 40:50Speaker 2: a good movie. You be watching me? And manhat you
- 40:53Speaker 2: saw it? No, you saw the wedding playing?
- 40:57Speaker 1: I saw that from Manhattan Ray Fines and Man, I
- 41:02Speaker 1: saw you saw you saw the wedding planning. I saw
- 41:05Speaker 1: who's that Jenner?
- 41:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and Matthew Mcca.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I saw like fifteen minutes of that. I hated it.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I hated ge Lee, I hated all that.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I look, he.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Couldn't understand how those movies are getting made, Like I'm like,
- 41:15Speaker 1: how do y'all not knowing?
- 41:17Speaker 2: Somebody asked this on Twitter one time.
- 41:18Speaker 1: It's like, I wonder if actors know what movie sucks
- 41:20Speaker 1: when they're making it, and Owens was like, absolutely, they
- 41:24Speaker 1: have to know.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Maybe they had to know, Like did you see Jennifer
- 41:26Speaker 2: Lopez dancing for the American Musical Awards. She wasn't good.
- 41:31Speaker 3: Something happened with her man. She just keep taking something.
- 41:36Speaker 3: I don't know if we changed or she changed. Something changed.
- 41:40Speaker 3: People do not turned on they. You know what I
- 41:45Speaker 3: think is, this is my theory.
- 41:47Speaker 2: They do.
- 41:47Speaker 1: I see why though capitalism rap. I think there's a
- 41:51Speaker 1: separation of wealth that I could say tough they did.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Jennifer Lopez.
- 41:57Speaker 1: For me, what I think it was when people found
- 41:59Speaker 1: out she wouldn't see them songs and the people who
- 42:02Speaker 1: were singing them songs have had like hard lives, were
- 42:06Speaker 1: paid cash.
- 42:08Speaker 2: But she wasn't she been live singing, or she was
- 42:10Speaker 2: just getting the songs from other artists. Her label.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I don't know if it's her the label, but it
- 42:15Speaker 1: was like Leah has a hit song, right, they'd be like.
- 42:18Speaker 2: No, you don't. Oh. They were taking the songs.
- 42:21Speaker 1: And then giving it to Jennifer Lopez and oftentimes leaving
- 42:24Speaker 1: Leah's vocals on. Like there was a TikTok money, Oh,
- 42:31Speaker 1: she if they if they paid the people. She did
- 42:35Speaker 1: that to Aana Crawley's a gospel singer. She sang all
- 42:39Speaker 1: this on j Lo's song. There was like and it's
- 42:42Speaker 1: not even the same voice.
- 42:44Speaker 2: You know. We know Shanti did.
- 42:46Speaker 1: A few, but it was like the label was just
- 42:48Speaker 1: like being like nah, man, Leah, you're out. And then
- 42:51Speaker 1: Leah just never makes it, and Jennifer Lopez makes it
- 42:54Speaker 1: with her song and her song and her song, and
- 42:56Speaker 1: that singer and that singer, and that person just keeps
- 42:57Speaker 1: getting paid cash and cash and cash. And then on
- 43:00Speaker 1: TikTok she was making a documentary.
- 43:01Speaker 2: She was just like, I documentary, that documentary did her
- 43:05Speaker 2: no favorite.
- 43:05Speaker 1: I just was like this crazy girl running through the bronx.
- 43:08Speaker 1: And then her classmates was like, Nigga, you was not
- 43:10Speaker 1: you went to a rich school. You was in this
- 43:13Speaker 1: rich thing like you was not in the streets like
- 43:14Speaker 1: that stopped saying that I went to school with you like,
- 43:17Speaker 1: stop doing that. So I feel like fraud. It was
- 43:20Speaker 1: the you know, the record label used to create stars.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I feel like they created that. And then the facade
- 43:24Speaker 1: fell off for her, and I think she went back
- 43:28Speaker 1: to New York and she.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Was like, oh, I used to live here.
- 43:32Speaker 1: He was like, who are you? Yeah, Jennifer Lopez, Yeah,
- 43:38Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I don't know. And I also by that's crazy.
- 43:42Speaker 1: So I feel like something happened in that time. And
- 43:45Speaker 1: then like she made that weird movie on Prime where
- 43:48Speaker 1: it was like a heartbeat musical and it was just like, man,
- 43:51Speaker 1: what the hell is this?
- 43:53Speaker 2: She did that movie recently with Owen Wilson, the romantic
- 43:55Speaker 2: comedy whatever Tang, which one was that I forget the name.
- 43:59Speaker 2: She was like this big star and he was like
- 44:02Speaker 2: the Owen Wilson tight yeah, the character that he often plays.
- 44:06Speaker 1: And but even like Hustlers, like most people agree that
- 44:08Speaker 1: was a good movie and she was good in it. Yeah.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I didn't see it any more of that, but it's
- 44:13Speaker 1: just like nah.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Man, no more of you being movies.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Movie was just like man, nah dang. And she start
- 44:21Speaker 1: out with Selena, she did, and black people love Selena
- 44:25Speaker 1: just the singer and they love the movie Selena.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I still haven't seen it. Re avoiding it? Man, you
- 44:34Speaker 2: mad at me.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I couldn't have seen ten of them vampire movies, but.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Selena purposely avoided man because of the murder. Yeah, I
- 44:41Speaker 2: like Selena. It was sad.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's I hate Yolana Southivar to get out trying
- 44:48Speaker 1: to get out.
- 44:48Speaker 2: You stay ass in there and cook don't.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Ever get out. You killed Selena so you purposely don't
- 44:54Speaker 1: want to purposely Yeah, got it. Her dad was that guy.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Uh he got his skin has.
- 45:03Speaker 2: I was talking about this the other day. Man, you
- 45:05Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Let let's just for the little
- 45:06Speaker 2: players be Puerto Rican and movies you know what else
- 45:09Speaker 2: that they always got a racially ambiguous or Italian or
- 45:14Speaker 2: something else every goddamn time.
- 45:16Speaker 1: She was on a promo tour and sterling Kate Brown.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I think she comes across inauthentic because she was like,
- 45:24Speaker 1: she was like, I'm Puerto Rican.
- 45:25Speaker 2: He was like, oh are you interesting? And it was
- 45:28Speaker 2: just like.
- 45:31Speaker 1: It was like what happened with y'all? She's like, I
- 45:33Speaker 1: love rights and beans because you know, perto Rican.
- 45:35Speaker 2: He was like, oh, you're Puerto Rican.
- 45:38Speaker 1: It was like the fact that yeah, because it was
- 45:41Speaker 1: like I felt like and it wasn't just him, it
- 45:43Speaker 1: was somebody. I don't know what the earic James almost
- 45:45Speaker 1: almost there were.
- 45:46Speaker 2: James, thank you, he's great. I remember what movie that promoting.
- 45:52Speaker 1: But it was like the cast didn't seem there was
- 45:54Speaker 1: something there that wasn't said. They're too professional to say it,
- 45:58Speaker 1: but there was some shade. So I feel like the
- 46:01Speaker 1: last couple of years, man, she just ain't.
- 46:03Speaker 2: So she probably she probably not even campaigning to be
- 46:06Speaker 2: Puerto Rican in these movies. Probably not. She probably just
- 46:10Speaker 2: Dennis Ferena can be my dad, because she wasn't playing
- 46:14Speaker 2: a little whitewash characters for a minute in the romantic
- 46:16Speaker 2: comedies when she started out, she leaned into that. When
- 46:19Speaker 2: she was in Money Train, she's Puerto Rican, you know
- 46:22Speaker 2: what I'm saying. She played Mexican American and Selena, but
- 46:25Speaker 2: you know, still she's in me Familiar. She was in that,
- 46:28Speaker 2: and then but then I feel like once she once
- 46:32Speaker 2: she did Anaconda, that's when it started. It was just like,
- 46:35Speaker 2: let's make you not let's make you something.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Let's make it unclear, yeah, ambiguous, let's go on it.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you can be Italian and this just makes.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Some stuff in there. Man, live if you will.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like that's trash man all right, man,
- 46:53Speaker 2: We done with this
