• Chandler: Mother. Alright, this is I'm gonna mark it here because I'm so confident I'm gonna get it next time. Bang. Aaron: I believe in Chandler: Welcome back to Run After Cast. This is our first official week zero prediction episode. And just to switch things up, you know, so you don't have to listen to the howdy howdy's anymore. I'm gonna I'm gonna be the host Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: on these shows to give your ears a break. So how these are gonna work, we're gonna roll through our high games of the week. And for this week, we have eight games that we're gonna touch. And we're gonna go through, we're gonna have Ryan and Aaron guess the over-unders, the lines, and then their score predictions, and then I'll tell them where they actually sit for those over-unders and the lines. And then we will talk about who we think's actually gonna win those games. We're gonna talk about the games that we're gonna follow out of those eight throughout the week, and then those videos or those games we will touch on and give a reaction to once they happen on our Monday episode. Now, this is normally where we'd kick it over to the Raction News Desk, but since I'm the host and we can make our own rules now, so we don't have to do extra work unless the news is really relevant, we'll just go right into the episode and save you guys some time. So for our first game of college football week zero, we have UNC DCU at TCU at eleven AM in Ireland. What a game. So what are we thinking boys? What do we think the what do we think the line is? Who's favored to win? Aaron: I I think they shouldn't have these games overseas for college, even for the pros. But we'll keep that for the Monday show. I do want to start this off that I agreed to this contest format, knowing I don't know anything about stat lines or betting. I've I've never put a sports bet in before, never really checked it before. So audience I I think I'm gonna be really bad at this for the first couple weeks. I'll get the hang of it. I'll be a a competitor soon. But Steel, give me your thoughts first so I can copy. Ryan: Okay, You said UN C T C U? Chandler: UNC TCU. So I guess it's not really at TCU, it's at Ireland. Chandler: Okay. So last year, UNC got the breaks beat off I don't remember what the score was, but it was 30 plus points. And if that's wrong, I apologize. It was by a lot. This year's line, PCU is favored by eight and a half points. So Aaron was right there at it, and so was Teal, but Aaron got the win for that one. So what do we think the over under is? Ryan: Like like forty eight. Aaron: I'm gonna guess thirty two. Chandler: It is forty-six and a half. So Teal Teal is right there at it. So it's one to one. So now Aaron: Whoa. I I Ryan: Ooh, okay. Aaron: do know in my heart Teal is gonna be an absolute monster at this. And Chandler: Ha ha. Ryan: No, no. Aaron: I'm excited. I'm sad we applied a punishment to this. So listeners, look out for next Thursday when our first punishment for this show comes through and I will be receiving it. But yeah. Chandler: So it's w it's really one to one right now on the on the opener. So so what's the final score will will will break the tie. So what do y'all think the final score will be? This one's actually in USC and not in like Australia. where do we have this line sitting at? Aaron: pick this one up first since he did the last one we'll alternate here. I think USC's gonna break the breaks off him so I'm gonna put him in at like a thirty-eight point favorite. Ryan: Wait, that's really good. That's really good. Okay. I'll say like thirty-nine. Chandler: USC is gonna be or not is going to be, USC needs to be like a villain kind of scenario this year and just play with the intensity and aggression that they need to beat everybody by forty points. So Aaron: absolutely. Chandler: I think Lincoln Rally's gonna have those boys fired up every single game, no matter who they're playing. So I Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: most definitely think they can cover there. It's their opener at home. Give me USC to cover that. So Ryan: yeah, it's gonna be bad. It's gonna like sixty to seven. If you're gonna watch any of this is gonna be a competitive game. But teal, you're up on this one. Ryan: I think that the line is gonna have Virginia winning by like by like three. Or let's say three and a half, because they always do a half. Aaron: Hmm. I I'll price this right you hear say Virginia up four. Chandler: We have our first correct guess of the evening. I think one of the later in the evening games is gonna be just as good, but we'll get to that one as we move through. So what do we think the over under is gonna be? Ryan: like fifty. Chandler: Here's my thing though, I would argue that Mike Norvell also needs to be able to, you know, make some improvements and I think that they're gonna be in the same boat as Lincoln Raleigh and USC. Whether or not they do or not is a question, but I think they should just beat the brakes off everybody or at have that mentality. Aaron: I I I agree, but I still think he's gonna pull players for because he needs this season to work. So I think when Chandler: Mm. of course. Of course. Of course. Aaron: that happens, we'll once the starters pull, we'll see some points come up. But I do think we see f FSU wake up a little bit more this season. I think I'm not saying they're making a full run. I just think they're not gonna be where they have been. I think they're gonna get back to what we've seen for. Ryan: Yeah, I don't think they're great. They had a cheap roster, but I think like yeah, like Deuce Robinson, Ashton Daniels, Contrabian Weisner, you got some offensive weapons. So they're gonna able to score some points. But yeah, big games, I don't think they're gonna be able to defense. Chandler: And Deuce Robinson has a lot of momentum having all those pickleball charity events and turkey drives and winter coats such and things. So I mean Ryan: Yeah. Yeah. But I'm not sure how the defense's gonna go hold up against like a really great team, but like you're playing New Mexico, they might sneak one one touchdown, field goal or two. Apparently I said two, but I just picked a random score, so Chandler: Okay. Aaron: Yeah. Chandler: For the last game of our eight game slate of week zero. Just a quick plug again. Aaron: I will not bet against UNLV all season. I think they are making a run. I think I think people are gonna see when they play against Memphis, which we could say is a tough competitor for them. I was traveling this week for work, so it's coming out on Thursday morning, but usually or sorry, Friday morning, but usually it'll come out on Thursday morning, so you guys can have a couple days to hear the episode, see our clips, and kinda get in the the weekend spirit of all the games that are gonna be coming. So with that being said, we wanted to Break down a bit more on the games that we're gonna personally follow out of those eight, because obviously we can't watch eight at a time. We could, but not going to. so we're gonna be watching USC San Jose State, NC Virginia, we're gonna be watching Florida State, New Mexico, and we're gonna be watching Memphis and UNLV. And those are gonna be our main four that we're gonna be coming back with, our main reactions. We're gonna deep dive into a little those a little bit more. And then of course, if anything happens, and I forgot TCU in North Carolina. If anything during those happen that, you know, our highlights that we didn't touch on, we'll touch on them then. According to the NBC guy, he's gonna win the Heisen because he plays Freedom and Riley. So he's gonna get one passing yard. Jaden Daniels, over 229 and a half passing yards. He's gonna tear it up. It's Ashton Daniels. You saw he did in the Alabama game. He doubled their offensive production. And for the final one, this is the one you're gonna Chandler: Mm. Ryan: say, no, no, no. Jackson Arnold over one and a half player touchdowns. Give me a passing and a rushing touchdown at least from Jackson Arnold. And that's a fourteen X multiplier. Chandler: And guys, he's not an Auburn fan, so this isn't there's no reason why he bet on two Auburn players here at all in these lines. Aaron: Yeah, there's no bias. Yeah. No, he is he's fair game. Ryan: Jackson Arnold is going to tear it up. Jackson Arnold is going to tear it up at the G five level. And this is the game. Aaron: I I completely Chandler: No, I I I I don't Aaron: agree.
