- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Good to see you just
- 0:04Speaker 2: after six o'clock.
- 0:05Speaker 3: On this Wednesday morning. Let's get to it.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 4: Scarlett Johanson and Adam Driver are helping to protect cattle
- 0:13Speaker 4: and sheep herds from gray wolves.
- 0:15Speaker 5: In a very interesting way. To the United States.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Department of Agriculture is operating drones that broadcast specific, harsh,
- 0:23Speaker 4: aggressive sounds in order to repel predators.
- 0:26Speaker 5: The program is called wolf Hazing.
- 0:28Speaker 4: With drones, they play things like fireworks, gunfire, and heavy
- 0:31Speaker 4: metal to ward off the wolves.
- 0:33Speaker 5: This is all because.
- 0:34Speaker 4: There has been an increase in livestock hills since the
- 0:37Speaker 4: reintroduction of the wolf to Yellowstone Park. So one of
- 0:41Speaker 4: the best things that actually works, as it turns out,
- 0:45Speaker 4: is the fight scene in the movie Marriage Story between
- 0:48Speaker 4: Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson. It works wonders on these
- 0:53Speaker 4: wolves and it gets them to run away instantly. So
- 0:57Speaker 4: shout out to them for helping out without even really
- 1:00Speaker 4: know one that they're helping out.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I want to I want to be the person who
- 1:03Speaker 2: gets to test what works and what doesn't like. Who
- 1:05Speaker 2: would come up with that?
- 1:06Speaker 4: I have no idea how they even thought to do it,
- 1:08Speaker 4: But it's the one that works really well for them,
- 1:11Speaker 4: So hey, whatever works right. This one's around my local
- 1:16Speaker 4: book lovers out there. There's a nash Girl's book swap
- 1:19Speaker 4: happening tonight at Sandbar.
- 1:21Speaker 5: It's free to attend. It's happening from six to eight tonight.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Just bring a book or multiple books that you're ready
- 1:26Speaker 4: to part with in the new swap with a new
- 1:28Speaker 4: friend for a different one.
- 1:29Speaker 5: I love this idea, especially.
- 1:31Speaker 4: If you love to read, but you also don't want
- 1:33Speaker 4: to necessarily, you know, stockpile books. This is a great
- 1:36Speaker 4: way to give them to somebody else that they can
- 1:39Speaker 4: enjoy it as well. And this is the most horrendous
- 1:42Speaker 4: thing I've heard in quite a while. Heines and Smoothie
- 1:46Speaker 4: King are making a ketchup smoothie. If you know me,
- 1:50Speaker 4: you know that I absolutely despise ketchup and I think
- 1:53Speaker 4: it's the worst condiment on the face of the planet.
- 1:55Speaker 4: I know a lot of you are gasping and clutching
- 1:58Speaker 4: your pearls right now hearing that ketchup is horrible. So
- 2:01Speaker 4: the idea that they would make a tomato ketchup smoothie,
- 2:05Speaker 4: I just I don't even know what to say to that,
- 2:07Speaker 4: but it's blended with a saie apple juice, strawberries and
- 2:10Speaker 4: raspberries for a little I guess sweeter.
- 2:12Speaker 5: Touch to it. So if you're a monster and you
- 2:15Speaker 5: want to try this, it's going to be on the menu.
- 2:17Speaker 4: At select smoothie kings across the nation starting today.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Okay, at first I was cringing, but then once you
- 2:24Speaker 2: throw on the rest of that stuff, now a sai
- 2:26Speaker 2: and whatnot, it gets a little better.
- 2:27Speaker 5: It doesn't. I'm Rickistangs and those are the three things
- 2:29Speaker 5: you need to know.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Ricky Zach and menu in the morning.
- 2:34Speaker 4: We're doing this thing on one oh seven five the
- 2:36Speaker 4: river called did you hear? This is going to be
- 2:39Speaker 4: a story from one of us about you know something
- 2:41Speaker 4: that you may or may not have heard about, but
- 2:43Speaker 4: you should know about.
- 2:45Speaker 5: keV Doug tell us what we should know about.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Well, it's about the Super Bowl halftime show. And I
- 2:49Speaker 2: know it's a bit early for that. The NFL season
- 2:51Speaker 2: doesn't even officially start for another month at halftime show's
- 2:54Speaker 2: coming up in February of twenty twenty six. But there
- 2:57Speaker 2: is this financial exchange and prediction market called Calshi and
- 3:02Speaker 2: they are cal calils her child.
- 3:07Speaker 6: I believe Ricky.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Wow, you know a lot about wall Street.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I guess who.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Anyway, they are predicting the halftime performer and they are
- 3:16Speaker 2: saying that currently as it sits, jay Z is the
- 3:20Speaker 2: odds on favorite.
- 3:21Speaker 4: What But that comes out like every year because he's
- 3:23Speaker 4: got that deal with the NFL, so every year.
- 3:26Speaker 5: They say, oh, it's gonna be jay Z.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, he would be essentially giving himself that job if
- 3:31Speaker 2: he was the one that ended up doing it. They
- 3:34Speaker 2: did like rank though, like percentage wise who has the
- 3:36Speaker 2: best chance of doing it? He is followed by post Malone.
- 3:40Speaker 2: He would be second on the list. Zach, You're gonna
- 3:42Speaker 2: love this. Miley Cyrus please, I'm begging you. I'm begging
- 3:45Speaker 2: you please. Would that be your like dream perform? Like
- 3:48Speaker 2: who do you truly think should do it or would
- 3:51Speaker 2: do it?
- 3:51Speaker 7: I feel like Miley Cyrus would put on like such
- 3:53Speaker 7: a good show. But I also was kind of thinking,
- 3:55Speaker 7: like maybe Beyonce because she just got off the Cowboy
- 3:57Speaker 7: Carter Tour, that she would like bring it to the
- 4:01Speaker 7: football people.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Her and Jay together that sports Yeah, the sports people.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Ricky the next show on the list, appeals to you,
- 4:11Speaker 2: So I want to know who you would put up
- 4:12Speaker 2: on that stage.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Oh honestly, I really like the idea of post alone,
- 4:17Speaker 4: Like that sounds really good to me. I think that
- 4:18Speaker 4: would be a great show, especially because he's just been
- 4:21Speaker 4: NonStop Tory. I think he's got a down pat and
- 4:24Speaker 4: he would put on a phenomenal halftime show.
- 4:26Speaker 2: And he could appeal to everybody. I mean, he's got
- 4:27Speaker 2: the hip hop background. He's doing countries all over the place.
- 4:30Speaker 2: But after Mila Cyrus on this list, according to this company,
- 4:33Speaker 2: Bad Money, if we did Benito.
- 4:39Speaker 7: The way that she is smiling from ear to ear
- 4:41Speaker 7: right now just thinking.
- 4:42Speaker 5: About it, I love Bad Money so much. I don't
- 4:45Speaker 5: think he would do it, though.
- 4:47Speaker 4: I don't think that he wants to do the super
- 4:49Speaker 4: Bowl halftime show. I don't know, man, he doesn't strike
- 4:51Speaker 4: me as that kind of person. Yeah. But also, don't
- 4:54Speaker 4: they have to like pay to do it because they
- 4:56Speaker 4: don't get paid.
- 4:56Speaker 6: To do it?
- 4:57Speaker 2: I think you're right.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I think they have to pay for their own production.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Right.
- 5:00Speaker 7: It gets like typically around like eight million dollars that
- 5:03Speaker 7: they're paying for their.
- 5:04Speaker 2: They see a return though, and you know, streaming bumps
- 5:07Speaker 2: and all that stuff.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I don't know if it exactly matches, if it's still
- 5:10Speaker 3: it's a big.
- 5:10Speaker 5: I don't think it matches.
- 5:12Speaker 4: I guess it depends on you know, where you are
- 5:13Speaker 4: in your career, what you're feeling Beneatho's doing his residency
- 5:16Speaker 4: right now, so I don't see him coming in February
- 5:19Speaker 4: and being like, oh yeah, that's quick turn around and
- 5:21Speaker 4: doing it.
- 5:22Speaker 5: But I would love it anything he does.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I love not to get too off topic here, but again,
- 5:26Speaker 2: he stole Happy Gilmore. He is so good after Bad Bunny.
- 5:32Speaker 3: They have Metallica as a strong choice. Okay, I like
- 5:34Speaker 3: that too.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I also saw there's a big petition online from Carrie
- 5:38Speaker 2: Underwood fans to get her to do the halftime.
- 5:41Speaker 6: I mean that would make sense. She does the song
- 5:44Speaker 6: right for Saturday night football or something.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Monday night football.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I don't know which song it is, but she does
- 5:50Speaker 2: us song.
- 5:51Speaker 7: I know she's part of the NFL and has a
- 5:53Speaker 7: song in there somehow for.
- 5:55Speaker 5: The football people.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Yeah, sportsy gals, Ricky, Zach and we're not gonna lie
- 6:02Speaker 4: to you. I don't know how this happened to Zach,
- 6:05Speaker 4: but I'm also not surprised that it.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Happened to Zach.
- 6:07Speaker 6: That's so messed up.
- 6:09Speaker 4: But Zach came in absolutely frantic this morning for one
- 6:11Speaker 4: specific reason. It's ricky Zach and Manno in the morning
- 6:14Speaker 4: on one oh seven five the river Go, I didn't
- 6:17Speaker 4: share with the class what happened to you last night?
- 6:18Speaker 7: You guys, my car got towed last night for the
- 6:21Speaker 7: very first time, the first time in my entire life.
- 6:23Speaker 7: So my boyfriend and I were at dinner. We walked
- 6:25Speaker 7: out of dinner and I was like, where is my car?
- 6:29Speaker 6: And it was gone.
- 6:30Speaker 7: There was like somebody sitting that had been out there
- 6:32Speaker 7: for a while that was like, hey, what are you
- 6:34Speaker 7: looking for? So I told him, like what kind of
- 6:35Speaker 7: car I drive? And they're like, oh, yeah, they just
- 6:36Speaker 7: came and picked it up. And I was like, who
- 6:38Speaker 7: do you mean?
- 6:39Speaker 2: They yes, they That's such a pain because then you
- 6:42Speaker 2: don't even know where to start like that, you don't
- 6:43Speaker 2: know where your car is at that point. You got
- 6:45Speaker 2: to track it down.
- 6:46Speaker 7: No, it's so annoying because it's not like they can
- 6:48Speaker 7: leave you a note of like hey, come pick up
- 6:50Speaker 7: your car.
- 6:50Speaker 5: They can, and they just don't.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Literally was like I.
- 6:53Speaker 7: Don't know what to do, Like do I just call
- 6:55Speaker 7: the police, like, what I pay for parking?
- 6:58Speaker 6: I did pay for parking.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Paid for parking, and they still told you.
- 7:01Speaker 6: Yes.
- 7:02Speaker 7: I literally have their receipt right here in my email
- 7:04Speaker 7: if you would like to see it.
- 7:05Speaker 2: And did it expire?
- 7:07Speaker 6: No, here's the thing.
- 7:08Speaker 7: I paid until nine to eleven PM, and they picked
- 7:11Speaker 7: up my car at seven fifty one.
- 7:14Speaker 6: I paid for parking, that's why.
- 7:16Speaker 7: And there's a sign outside, like a street sign that
- 7:18Speaker 7: says paid parking with an arrow this way. So I
- 7:21Speaker 7: parked right in front of the sign where it's told
- 7:23Speaker 7: me to park, and then I paid to park there
- 7:25Speaker 7: and they still picked up my car.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Feel like you are omitting something hey, Yet I'm not.
- 7:30Speaker 5: It's something wrong. We just don't know what it is.
- 7:32Speaker 6: I don't know what it is. Then neither.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Did you eventually go get your car?
- 7:35Speaker 6: Yeah? I went and got it last night.
- 7:37Speaker 3: And they didn't tell you what you did wrong.
- 7:39Speaker 7: No, they said, oh, you have to call Metro because
- 7:41Speaker 7: it was a different towing company. They were like, oh,
- 7:43Speaker 7: Metro called it in in, Dot called it in and
- 7:46Speaker 7: said you have to call and talk to them about
- 7:48Speaker 7: what what did I do?
- 7:50Speaker 5: Well, you gotta ask them what you did because I
- 7:52Speaker 5: think you did something, you'd want to know.
- 7:54Speaker 7: No, I do want to know because I already had
- 7:57Speaker 7: to pay to go pick up my car from the tola,
- 7:59Speaker 7: which is insane that it's two hundred and fifty dollars
- 8:02Speaker 7: for me to pick up my car that I already
- 8:05Speaker 7: paid for. That it's my property that they stole off
- 8:08Speaker 7: the side of the road.
- 8:09Speaker 5: But you didn't follow the rules they stole it.
- 8:11Speaker 6: I did, they stole it off the side of the road.
- 8:14Speaker 5: You didn't follow the rules?
- 8:15Speaker 6: Yes, I did.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Well, if you've got this receipt in your email, all
- 8:20Speaker 2: that fight this, man, I'm going to post it because
- 8:23Speaker 2: now nobody believes you and we want to see this through.
- 8:25Speaker 7: I was like, I literally have the receipt pulled up
- 8:27Speaker 7: right here, and I also have text messages where they
- 8:30Speaker 7: text me of like, hey, this is how much time
- 8:31Speaker 7: you have left in your parking more receipts than I
- 8:34Speaker 7: paid and did what I was supposed to do, Zach,
- 8:37Speaker 7: I'm so mad right now.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Where did you go to dinner?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Though?
- 8:40Speaker 6: We went to v modern Italian?
- 8:42Speaker 5: Was it?
- 8:42Speaker 6: The food was phenomenal?
- 8:44Speaker 5: Okay, so at least you had a nice dinner.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Yeah, it costs hundreds.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Of dollars more than.
- 8:50Speaker 6: The food was really good.
- 8:51Speaker 7: I'm so glad it was such expensive pasta.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I will I'm so curious about this, me too, because
- 8:59Speaker 4: I want to believe you, Zach, but you're being a
- 9:01Speaker 4: little dramatic about.
- 9:02Speaker 6: So we walked down.
- 9:02Speaker 7: Even so, my boyfriend and I drove separately. Even he
- 9:05Speaker 7: was like, I don't know, like why they did this,
- 9:07Speaker 7: And he is the epitome of a rule follower.
- 9:10Speaker 5: He is, he is, I'm slowly getting to your side.
- 9:14Speaker 7: The fact that he even was like, I don't know
- 9:16Speaker 7: what's wrong and I was like me neither.
- 9:18Speaker 6: This is so fun. Can you take me to get
- 9:19Speaker 6: my car? Now?
- 9:20Speaker 2: I have one hundred percent sure you did something wrong,
- 9:23Speaker 2: and I need to follow up on this suit.
- 9:25Speaker 3: We need to know exactly what happened.
- 9:26Speaker 2: When you find out, please tell us, Please be honest
- 9:28Speaker 2: about it.
- 9:29Speaker 6: I will you. I don't think I did anything wrong
- 9:31Speaker 6: about here for Metro.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Three things you need to know, all right, a bit
- 9:35Speaker 2: past seven o'clock on this Wednesday morning, Ricky Sanchez is
- 9:38Speaker 2: right here with those three things.
- 9:40Speaker 4: The producer of Tiny Desk concert says that the show
- 9:42Speaker 4: is not going away, despite the Corporation for Public Broadcasting defunding,
- 9:47Speaker 4: uh so. Longtime producer of MPR's Tiny Desk Concert, Bobby
- 9:51Speaker 4: Carter addressed rumors about the show shutting.
- 9:53Speaker 5: Down on his Instagram.
- 9:55Speaker 4: In his post, he said that he's heard people worried
- 9:57Speaker 4: that NPR and Tiny Desk are not going to be
- 9:59Speaker 4: a anymore because of the defunding, but they're sticking around.
- 10:04Speaker 4: He said, CPB is shutting down and encouraged everyone to
- 10:07Speaker 4: support public media by donating, but.
- 10:10Speaker 5: They're gonna keep it going.
- 10:11Speaker 4: They obviously have so much success with Tiny Desk Concert
- 10:14Speaker 4: it is like a beast of its own, so.
- 10:18Speaker 5: It's not going anywhere, which is great news.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Virgin Voyages is launching a true crime cruise this fall,
- 10:25Speaker 4: so if you love true crime, this is for you.
- 10:27Speaker 4: It's officially launching October tenth from Miami. The cruise is
- 10:30Speaker 4: gonna have live podcast recordings, meet and greets with top hosts,
- 10:34Speaker 4: workshops on how to start your own podcast. It's adults only,
- 10:39Speaker 4: and it's in partnership with iHeartMedia. It's gonna be a
- 10:41Speaker 4: five night cruise with stops in Dominican Republic and Virgin's
- 10:45Speaker 4: private island in the Bahamas. Very fancy. It's all gonna
- 10:49Speaker 4: be a board the Valiant Lady. So if you like
- 10:52Speaker 4: this kind of stuff and you like true crime, this
- 10:55Speaker 4: may be the perfect getaway for you.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I mean, I don't want anything bad to happen to
- 10:59Speaker 2: anybody at I'm a good person, but that would be
- 11:03Speaker 2: kind of the perfect place for something nefarious to happen, Kevin,
- 11:07Speaker 2: wouldn't it.
- 11:08Speaker 5: Why are you putting that out into the universe saying,
- 11:10Speaker 5: don't just say it? All right, don't just say anything.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I take it back.
- 11:14Speaker 5: We're moving on.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Jacks Barbecue has sold their iconic Broadway location to Robert's
- 11:19Speaker 4: Western World.
- 11:20Speaker 5: This is a big deal.
- 11:21Speaker 4: After thirty one years at its landmark location on Lower Broadway,
- 11:25Speaker 4: Jack's Barbecue is selling to Robert's Western World so that
- 11:28Speaker 4: they can expand. It's going to preserve the site's character,
- 11:32Speaker 4: they said, though updated plans are going to be shared
- 11:34Speaker 4: in the coming months. Jacks will now focus on expanding
- 11:37Speaker 4: its Midtown and Trinity Lane locations, as well as focusing
- 11:42Speaker 4: on catering. They had a really big moment with catering,
- 11:45Speaker 4: I believe, they said in the eighties, and they're kind
- 11:46Speaker 4: of going back to their roots on that. I'm Riquy
- 11:49Speaker 4: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Ricky. Right after Shaboozi, We've got
- 11:55Speaker 2: a fact for you. Zack's fax. He's standing by. He said,
- 11:58Speaker 2: it's about the fair. Since fair season is upon us,
- 12:02Speaker 2: we're learning together. Next down the river one o seven.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Five the river, Ricky, Zach and Menno. In the morning,
- 12:07Speaker 1: it's time.
- 12:08Speaker 5: For Zach's fax on one oh seven five the river.
- 12:10Speaker 6: It is officially fair season.
- 12:12Speaker 7: The Williamson County Fair is going all the way until Saturday.
- 12:15Speaker 7: So I was like, let me find a fact about
- 12:16Speaker 7: the fair, and cotton candy is like one of my
- 12:19Speaker 7: favorite fair foods.
- 12:20Speaker 6: Do you guys know the original name of cotton candy.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Oh, let's guess, uh, cotton cloth, I mean cloth candy.
- 12:27Speaker 1: What?
- 12:29Speaker 2: No?
- 12:30Speaker 5: That was not it fluffy scrum.
- 12:33Speaker 6: It was called FIUs.
- 12:36Speaker 7: It was called fairy floss when it was created here
- 12:39Speaker 7: in Nashville by candy makers back in eighteen ninety seven.
- 12:42Speaker 7: They originally called cotton candy fairy floss. And that just
- 12:46Speaker 7: makes my heart so happy.
- 12:48Speaker 5: That's really cute. Why did we not stick with fairy flow.
- 12:50Speaker 7: I'm changing it back in there for your factor of
- 12:52Speaker 7: the day. Cotton candy is now back to fairy floss.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I didn't realize it was invented in Nashville. That's super cool. Yeah,
- 12:57Speaker 2: exactly one O seven five The River.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Recky, Zach and Meno in the school is back in session.
- 13:03Speaker 5: That means that summer's pretty much over. But we want
- 13:06Speaker 5: to do school shout outs on one O seven five
- 13:08Speaker 5: the River.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, whether it be your actual school or maybe
- 13:11Speaker 2: a particular teacher or principal, a friend, whatever it is,
- 13:14Speaker 2: whoever you feel like shouting out, we want to hear
- 13:16Speaker 2: all about it.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Six one five, seven, three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Let's get some school shout outs out there. Start the Dale, fright,
- 13:22Speaker 4: all start. I want to shout out my friends Ricky
- 13:24Speaker 4: and Zach.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Oh that's sweet, Welcome back to school, sweeties.
- 13:28Speaker 6: Is the school of ver.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Recky, Zach and Meno in the morning, Ricky, Zack.
- 13:34Speaker 5: And Manno in the morning.
- 13:35Speaker 4: On one O seven five the River school is in session,
- 13:39Speaker 4: so we are doing some school shout outs this morning.
- 13:42Speaker 5: Dottie and Finley and Franklin. Who do you want to
- 13:44Speaker 5: shout out? Legacy Middle School?
- 13:47Speaker 2: Okay, where's that.
- 13:50Speaker 8: Franklin?
- 13:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, we just said they're calling for Franklin, Well,
- 13:54Speaker 2: you're right, it was a stupid question. I take it back.
- 13:57Speaker 5: I think Kevin's got to go back to school.
- 14:00Speaker 2: When did you guys start? Was your first day yesterday?
- 14:02Speaker 2: Or is it what's going on Monday?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Oh?
- 14:05Speaker 4: You guys started Monday. Okay, So you guys are getting
- 14:07Speaker 4: back in the groove. Everything feel good. Are you guys

- 14:48Speaker 8: everybody was so nice to us and welcome, welcomed us
- 14:52Speaker 8: in like family, and so everybody's been really nice. I
- 14:55Speaker 8: don't feel like we're gonna, you know, gripe out each
- 14:58Speaker 8: other or bite each other's head. Everybody's so nice every morning,
- 15:02Speaker 8: even if we're all having a bad day, we're all
- 15:04Speaker 8: still so nice to each other.
- 15:06Speaker 5: That's a nice thing.

- 15:19Speaker 2: So I'm really happy to hear that.

- 15:23Speaker 7: Y'all have a nice one to six one five, seven, three,
- 15:26Speaker 7: seven nine one o seven.
- 15:27Speaker 2: If you want to shout out a school or a
- 15:29Speaker 2: teacher or a principal, I'll be honest. She yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Ever since she said she was a two year old teacher,
- 15:35Speaker 2: I just picture a toddler teaching Kevin.
- 15:39Speaker 7: I also was thinking like, does that mean she's been
- 15:41Speaker 7: teaching for two years or does she teach two year olds?
- 15:44Speaker 5: I think she's been teaching for two years.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Two year olds don't usually go to school.
- 15:48Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't have a kid.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Okay, seven seven to shout out your.
- 15:54Speaker 1: School, Ricky Zach and men in the.

- 16:09Speaker 2: good morning.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Who would you let you shout out?
- 16:13Speaker 5: All right? Shout out to Middle Tennessee Christian School?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Uh?
- 16:16Speaker 5: What grade are you in in middle school?
- 16:18Speaker 8: In sixth grade?
- 16:19Speaker 5: Sixth grade is the first grade in middle school?
- 16:21Speaker 8: Right?
- 16:22Speaker 4: Yes, okay, this is a big deal, LEVI. We hope
- 16:25Speaker 4: you have a great school year.
- 16:26Speaker 6: I have a great day.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Have a great day, you too.
- 16:29Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 16:29Speaker 5: Go get them, Hi, guys.
- 16:31Speaker 2: I remember being like the the young one, like once
- 16:34Speaker 2: I started high school where I grew up Indiana, and
- 16:36Speaker 2: just feeling so intimidated walking around these halls with all
- 16:39Speaker 2: these big kids.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Yeah, middle school and in high school, or the two
- 16:42Speaker 4: big moments of like whoa, you don't know anything?
- 16:45Speaker 5: Where am I am?
- 16:46Speaker 4: I do I feel comfortable yet it's a whole thing.
- 16:49Speaker 3: And I'll be honest with you.
- 16:50Speaker 2: High school students still intimidate me. If I see like
- 16:53Speaker 2: a group of them, I avoid them.
- 16:54Speaker 4: We hope anybody's starting middle school or high school, have
- 16:58Speaker 4: a great first year in those school rules, because yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 4: it is.
- 17:01Speaker 5: It's just intimidating for all of us, including Kevin.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Heather, good morning, welcome to the river. Who would you
- 17:06Speaker 2: like to shout out?
- 17:07Speaker 9: New Union Elementary School in Manchester? And my son Wyatt
- 17:11Speaker 9: is the first grade?
- 17:13Speaker 5: First grade? How exciting?
- 17:15Speaker 7: Is so excited?
- 17:17Speaker 8: Yo?
- 17:17Speaker 4: That's another big one, because you know, kindergarten is a
- 17:20Speaker 4: big deal.
- 17:21Speaker 5: But once you leave kindergarten, it's like, oh, you're like you're.
- 17:24Speaker 6: In it to win it.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Yeah, Heather, thank you so much for calling in. We
- 17:30Speaker 4: hope you have a great day.

- 17:47Speaker 5: What's your son?
- 17:48Speaker 6: Same?
- 17:48Speaker 7: His name's Preston, Preston happy bird Ricky, go ahead and
- 17:53Speaker 7: sing it happy birthday too.
- 17:56Speaker 6: We don't have time for this. That's enough one.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Thank you for listening, Thank you for calling. I hope
- 18:01Speaker 2: It's a great day and a great year for him.

- 18:42Speaker 8: He loved school?
- 18:43Speaker 4: Oh good, he's been great.
- 18:45Speaker 3: I love that.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Well.
- 18:46Speaker 2: You were playing for tickets to see the weekend. Like
- 18:48Speaker 2: Ricky said, your game is topical trivia. If you can
- 18:50Speaker 2: get two out of three of these questions right, the
- 18:52Speaker 2: tickets are yours.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Are you ready?
- 18:53Speaker 6: I'm ready, Kaylin.
- 18:55Speaker 2: This is pre coffee. Let's all keep that in mind.
- 18:57Speaker 2: But your game starts right now. Question number one, This
- 19:02Speaker 2: past weekend. What popular Tennessee musician fought Logan Paul at
- 19:08Speaker 2: WWE's SummerSlam. Oh god, it's a friend of the river
- 19:15Speaker 2: over here. I don't know.
- 19:20Speaker 3: All right, you're gonna pass on that one. It was
- 19:22Speaker 3: jelly roll.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Yeah, that's okay, that's okay. You still got two more questions.
- 19:27Speaker 5: You gotta get the next two right to get the tickets, okay.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Lindsay Lowan and Jamie Lee Curtis are reuniting in theaters
- 19:33Speaker 2: this weekend for the long awaited sequel to What two
- 19:36Speaker 2: thousand and three.
- 19:36Speaker 5: Movie Freaky Friday. Yeah, there we go.
- 19:42Speaker 3: We got a point on the board.
- 19:43Speaker 2: That was the worst bell I've ever.
- 19:44Speaker 3: Heard in my life.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Brookeing, there we go.
- 19:48Speaker 2: You get this one, right, you win. Lady Gaga has
- 19:52Speaker 2: a new song on the way for What Netflix show.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Here's a hint. She's also a cast member in this
- 19:57Speaker 2: upcoming season. Oh god, Ricky, I think part of this
- 20:04Speaker 2: hits Netflix today?
- 20:05Speaker 6: Is that right?
- 20:06Speaker 5: It is?
- 20:06Speaker 4: Today's the day that part one comes out of this series?
- 20:11Speaker 3: Ricky?
- 20:12Speaker 2: I think that I think it's a named after a
- 20:14Speaker 2: day of the week, right, It's named after possibly.
- 20:17Speaker 1: The name day Wednesday.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Congratulations of ahead. Yeah, we're feeling very generous. Congratulations, you're

- 20:35Speaker 8: Okay, thank you.
- 20:36Speaker 2: We just you know, sometimes we want to help these
- 20:38Speaker 2: folks out a little bit. We have more of the
- 20:40Speaker 2: tickets tomorrow, three days.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You need to know just after.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Eight o'clock on this Wednesday morning. Thank you for being here.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 20:49Speaker 4: The nominees for MTVS VMAs are out. Lady Gaga was
- 20:53Speaker 4: the most nominated artist.
- 20:54Speaker 5: For the twenty twenty five VMS. It's twelve nods.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Following her is Bruno Mars with eleven in Kendrick Lamar
- 21:01Speaker 4: with ten. Up for Best New Artists are Alex Warren,
- 21:04Speaker 4: Ella Langley, Gigi Perez, Lola Young, Somber and The Marias.
- 21:08Speaker 5: That one's gonna be a tough Catgar because they're all amazing.
- 21:11Speaker 4: They also have two new categories this year, Best Country
- 21:14Speaker 4: and Best Pop Artist. The VMA Ceremony is happening September seventh,
- 21:19Speaker 4: and it's gonna air on CBS, MTV and Paramount Plus
- 21:22Speaker 4: for you to watch. The Naked Gun is a hit
- 21:25Speaker 4: on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie stars Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson.
- 21:29Speaker 4: It's currently sitting at ninety percent on Rotten Tomatoes based
- 21:33Speaker 4: on two hundred and thirty two reviews, so this is
- 21:35Speaker 4: really good. The critics consensus on the site notes that
- 21:38Speaker 4: the Naked Gun revives the original trilogy's quote dappy sense
- 21:42Speaker 4: of humor, like it never went out of style. So
- 21:45Speaker 4: this means we may actually get another Naked Gun as well,
- 21:48Speaker 4: so we'll see fingers crossed obviously. This is also the
- 21:51Speaker 4: reason why everybody's obsessive Liam Niesson and Pamela Anderson right now,
- 21:55Speaker 4: because they are so cute on screen and off and
- 21:58Speaker 4: they're dating now.
- 22:00Speaker 5: It's just it's such a great story. I'd love to
- 22:02Speaker 5: hear it.
- 22:03Speaker 4: And Eighth and a Rose Coffee co is the official
- 22:06Speaker 4: coffee of the Tennessee Titans.
- 22:08Speaker 5: The deal will begin this.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Season and continue after into the new Nissan Stadium when
- 22:13Speaker 4: it opens. Eighth and Row CEO Ed Reed called the
- 22:16Speaker 4: deal with the Titans quote a major milestone for the
- 22:18Speaker 4: coffee company.
- 22:19Speaker 5: I love this.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I hope they.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Continue this trend of having all these local businesses be
- 22:23Speaker 4: a part of the stadium and the team because that
- 22:26Speaker 4: is what Nashville is all about. I'mrichy Sanchez, and those
- 22:29Speaker 4: are the three things you need to know.
- 22:30Speaker 1: One O seven five The River, Ricky, Zach and Meno
- 22:33Speaker 1: in the Morning's.
- 22:34Speaker 2: One oh seven five the River.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Our question for you right now, would you pay to
- 22:40Speaker 2: go to a wedding? I know weddings are expensive in general,
- 22:42Speaker 2: but like, if you had to buy a ticket to
- 22:44Speaker 2: go to a wedding, would you go?
- 22:46Speaker 1: Uh?
- 22:46Speaker 2: We heard a story what happened exactly in this situation, Zach.
- 22:50Speaker 6: Okay, So here's the tea about the wedding.
- 22:51Speaker 7: Apparently you could pay fifty seven dollars to go to
- 22:54Speaker 7: the wedding and the reception, or you could pay nine
- 22:57Speaker 7: hundred and ninety seven dollars, So almost a thousand bucks
- 23:00Speaker 7: for two tickets to a three day experience including the
- 23:03Speaker 7: wedding plus the uh pre and post nuptial events.
- 23:06Speaker 6: So would you pay to go to this wedding?
- 23:10Speaker 3: That's insane to me, But I don't know.
- 23:12Speaker 2: We'll get it six one five, seven, three seven nine,
- 23:14Speaker 2: one oh seven. We all have our own opinions. If
- 23:17Speaker 2: you don't pay, if you don't buy the ticket, you're
- 23:19Speaker 2: not paying to No one.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah you're not here.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not a donation, it's a it's a ticket
- 23:24Speaker 2: that yet you gotta buy. Would you do it?
- 23:26Speaker 8: Six?
- 23:27Speaker 2: One five seven, three seven nine, one oh seven Leedison
- 23:29Speaker 2: Rey stand on this one oh seven five the River.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Rickie, Zach and Menno in the morning, Amber.
- 23:34Speaker 4: And Hendersonville, welcome to one oh seven five the River.
- 23:37Speaker 4: Would you pay to go to a wedding where your
- 23:40Speaker 4: ticket would cost fifty seven dollars to be at the
- 23:43Speaker 4: wedding and the reception?
- 23:44Speaker 9: Absolutely not.
- 23:46Speaker 6: Oh oh that was a wow.
- 23:48Speaker 7: No.
- 23:49Speaker 2: What if it was like a really good friend or
- 23:51Speaker 2: a family member, if they don't have.
- 23:52Speaker 9: The money to throw a wedding like that and they
- 23:54Speaker 9: need to for something tapered?
- 23:56Speaker 5: Okay, Amber, are you married?
- 23:58Speaker 1: I am?
- 23:59Speaker 4: So you know how expense of weddings can get. So
- 24:01Speaker 4: you've already been through the struggle and you made it work.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I have and we did.
- 24:05Speaker 9: Me and my husband paid for our own wedding and
- 24:08Speaker 9: everything else together, minus my mother being the angel that
- 24:12Speaker 9: she isn't buying my dress. Our wedding was about two
- 24:15Speaker 9: thousand dollars.
- 24:16Speaker 4: WHOA, I'm gonna need your tips and tricks because I
- 24:19Speaker 4: can't get anywhere under forty k oh, what kind of
- 24:22Speaker 4: coupon did you have?
- 24:25Speaker 1: Oh?
- 24:25Speaker 5: God, that is a steel good for you.
- 24:28Speaker 9: It was a lot of hand crashing and a lot
- 24:31Speaker 9: of playing on my part, Like I made a lot
- 24:33Speaker 9: of things for our wedding and we literally we did
- 24:36Speaker 9: like food trays from Walmart and our cake was from
- 24:41Speaker 9: Sam's and it was phenomenal.
- 24:42Speaker 2: That's all you need. I mean, wedding culture has just
- 24:45Speaker 2: gotten so crazy, and I'm sure.
- 24:47Speaker 9: You guys had a like, if you truly love that
- 24:50Speaker 9: person and you really just want to be with them,
- 24:52Speaker 9: you will make the wedding work. It doesn't have to
- 24:54Speaker 9: be some extravagant one hundred thousand dollars wedding r Like
- 25:00Speaker 9: if you have the money for that, great, But if
- 25:02Speaker 9: you don't, Yeah, they worked with what you thought.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Don't beat yourself up over it. Okay, Amber, thank you
- 25:06Speaker 2: for calling. That's refreshing to hear that from you, so
- 25:09Speaker 2: thank you.
- 25:09Speaker 8: You're alsome.
- 25:10Speaker 5: Have a great day, love.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I will say the details of this particular story were
- 25:13Speaker 2: referencing are.
- 25:14Speaker 4: A little I think they have a lot of rich friends.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, I'm going to.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Put it that way to start, Because they ended up
- 25:22Speaker 4: breaking even on their wedding. They didn't say how much
- 25:24Speaker 4: they spent on the wedding, but they broke even on
- 25:28Speaker 4: what they spent.
- 25:29Speaker 5: So they made all that money back, and on top
- 25:31Speaker 5: of it, they had one.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Hundred and thirty two thousand dollars remaining that went to charity.
- 25:36Speaker 7: How many people were at your money wedding? It had
- 25:39Speaker 7: to be like a five hundred person wedding.
- 25:41Speaker 4: It had to be huge, and I had to be
- 25:43Speaker 4: filled with a bunch of rich people, because this is insane.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I mean, I will say there's like a silent auction
- 25:49Speaker 2: as well, since I get charity gallop more than a wedding.
- 25:51Speaker 5: It was both for.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Sure, because they made their money back, they didn't spend
- 25:55Speaker 4: anything on their on their wedding, and then on top
- 25:57Speaker 4: of it, it ended.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Up the rest of it went to charity. So I
- 26:00Speaker 5: guess it's nice that they didn't keep.
- 26:01Speaker 4: The one hundred and thirty two thousand dollars, but kind
- 26:06Speaker 4: of crazy that that's what's left.
- 26:08Speaker 6: I mean, I.
- 26:08Speaker 7: Will say though, like whenever you think about a guess
- 26:11Speaker 7: paying fifty seven dollars to go to a wedding and reception.
- 26:13Speaker 6: That includes food.
- 26:14Speaker 7: If you go out to dinner by yourself. It's going
- 26:16Speaker 7: to be more than fifty seven dollars.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Very sure.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Yeah, So I'm like, it's not that bad of a deal.
- 26:20Speaker 2: But you are already paying for so many things when
- 26:23Speaker 2: it comes to a wedding, you know, and especially if
- 26:25Speaker 2: you're traveling, you have to probably get yourself some clothes.
- 26:28Speaker 4: So what you guys are saying is that if I
- 26:30Speaker 4: charge you guys to go to my wedding, you're not coming. No,
- 26:33Speaker 4: this actually might be the way to not get people
- 26:35Speaker 4: to come to my wedding.
- 26:38Speaker 2: What would you charge me? Let me think about it.
- 26:39Speaker 4: I will charge probably what the plate costs. So whatever
- 26:41Speaker 4: the plate was is what I would charge.
- 26:43Speaker 6: So I think that's really say it's like sixty.
- 26:45Speaker 5: Five bucks, seventy bucks, that's probably what I would charge.
- 26:48Speaker 6: Okay, I would pay that way. I'm paying for my
- 26:50Speaker 6: own dinner.
- 26:51Speaker 5: That's it.
- 26:51Speaker 4: Yeah cool, nothing more, nothing extra. But then you guys
- 26:54Speaker 4: pay for the dinner, and then I don't have.
- 26:56Speaker 2: To I feel like I would I have to deduct
- 26:58Speaker 2: it from the gift though.
- 26:59Speaker 5: Oh oh cheat, now, oh my god.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno. In the morning, we are.
- 27:09Speaker 2: About to play the daily double tap here on one
- 27:11Speaker 2: O seven five The River and a second ago, Ricky
- 27:13Speaker 2: said this one reminded her of Zach. We're not getting
- 27:16Speaker 2: into that cycle again where we play daily double taps
- 27:18Speaker 2: inspired by I hope not.
- 27:20Speaker 4: I just I saw this one. I thought it was
- 27:22Speaker 4: hilarious and I went, oh my god.
- 27:24Speaker 5: It's literally Zach.
- 27:25Speaker 6: This is dressed like crazy. To me, I feel like
- 27:27Speaker 6: it's your favorite hobby.
- 27:28Speaker 5: My fault that you can't pronounce words.
- 27:30Speaker 6: It's your favorite hobby.
- 27:31Speaker 5: Words are hard sometimes, and that's okay, it's all right.
- 27:34Speaker 5: It just reminded me of you. So this guy is
- 27:37Speaker 5: just kind of, you know, ragging on his friend as
- 27:39Speaker 5: you can't say words.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Right, all right, here we go.
