  Speaker 1: that you join along with me in prayer. So often

  Speaker 1: we've carried so much for so long, when we need

  Speaker 1: to just give it to God, Heavenly Father, in the

  Speaker 1: name of Jesus Christ, we come to you right now, God,

  Speaker 1: with open hands and humbled hearts, ready to lay it
• 0:25
  Speaker 1: all down. God Lord, we confess we've carried so much God,
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: and we've carried it so long, trying to be God
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: in our own lives, God and our family's lives. We
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: tried to fix things ourselves. We tried to hold everything together.
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: We tried to be strong when we should have just surrendered.

  Speaker 1: But today God, we let it go. We surrender our plans,

  Speaker 1: the ones we worked so hard to build but never
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: fully gave to You. We surrender our expectations, our timelines,

  Speaker 1: our control, because truthfully, you never asked us to carry
• 1:05
  Speaker 1: the weight of the world on our shoulders. You simply

  Speaker 1: asked us God, to have faith and trust in You.

  Speaker 1: So Lord, we surrender our burdens. We surrender every worry,
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: every fear, every ounce of anxiety that's been pressing on
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: our chest. God, we give you our confusion, our unanswered questions,

  Speaker 1: the hard break that we try to hide. Father, you
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: see the parts of us that we don't show anybody else. God,

  Speaker 1: you see the battles in our minds, the scars on
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: our souls, And still you invite us to come. You

  Speaker 1: invite us to lay it all at your feet. So

  Speaker 1: here we are. Lord. We surrender our past. We surrender

  Speaker 1: every mistake, every regret, every wrong turn. We surrender the

  Speaker 1: pain that still echoes in our memories. And God, we

  Speaker 1: even surrender our success, the tie, the achievements, the things

  Speaker 1: we've used to define ourselves, the pride that goes with it,

  Speaker 1: because we don't want anything, God to take your place

  Speaker 1: in our hearts. God, we surrender our relationships, the ones

  Speaker 1: we're trying to fix, the ones that are falling apart,

  Speaker 1: haven't had the strength. God. We surrender our children, our

  Speaker 1: spous is, our families, because they were yours before they

  Speaker 1: were ever ours. God, teach us to trust you with

  Speaker 1: what we treasure most. God, we surrender the unknown. God.

  Speaker 1: We don't always understand what you're doing, but we know

  Speaker 1: you're still and even when we can't trace your hand,

  Speaker 1: path ahead. We say yes to your will, yes to

  Speaker 1: your way, yes to your plan for our lives, because

  Speaker 1: what we gain in surrender is far greater than anything

  Speaker 1: that we have to give us souriin in us, Jesus,

  Speaker 1: take your rightful places, Lord of our lives. We don't

  Speaker 1: just want you to be our safe if we want

  Speaker 1: you to be our king, our Lord. Teach us God

  Speaker 1: to live with open hands, trusting hearts, and surrender spirits. Lord,
