**SILVER Players** You Best PAY ATTENTION to This! 🦍 (Gold Price Precious Metals NEWS Update too) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Today, silver stinks, but we've had a massive silver surge over
0:06
the last few weeks. The important thing that we want
0:09
to look at is will it continue? Are there big stories that we
0:13
can examine that indicate to us that this will continue?
0:19
And we got a lot to look at. Let's go take a look at what's
0:22
happening right now in the silver market, guys, at the
0:28
price. Here we are at the futures down
0:31
Ford. Wow, look at that crazy activity
0:34
that's been going on here in the last, what, 20 or 30 minutes in
0:38
the futures market, down 5%. Now, what I want to draw your
0:42
attention to are a couple things #1 right back here on the 29th
0:48
of April, so just about two weeks ago, we had silver at
0:52
$71.50. Even today, after this big draw
0:56
down, we are up almost $14.00 per oz in the silver price.
1:01
That is huge. And if we even go back to just
1:04
10 days ago, we had the silver price at $73, so we're up
1:09
$12.00. Volatility goes both ways, to
1:12
the upside and to the downside. And if we look at what's
1:16
happened just in the last two weeks, we've had a big, big move
1:20
up in the silver price, which I think we're set up to continue
1:24
as we go into these coming months, quarters and years.
1:27
Let's look at some of the big stories, what are the reasons
1:30
why we had the silver surge and then look for hints and
1:34
indications that it will continue.
1:37
Let's look at we'll start with the very simple but powerful and
1:43
I think this sums it up in a real, real simple way.
1:45
Silver is breaking out, but gold is not following.
1:49
OK, then he brings up a great point.
1:51
There is no shortage of gold. We love gold.
1:55
Gold is is has a very limited finite supply, but not like not
2:02
like silver where we have a supply shortage.
2:05
So that could have been one of the first factors pushing up up
2:09
the silver price relative to gold because that's what was
2:12
happening over the last few days.
2:14
It was very interesting. The gold price would be like
2:17
flat or down, but the silver price would be up two or three
2:21
oz, which is usually not the case.
2:24
So, you know, we're going to look at some of the reasons why
2:26
that may have been happening before I forget.
2:29
Let's go back out to the let's go out and look at the spot
2:33
price of silver right now. OK?
2:37
So yeah, I mean it. Now today it's strange spot
2:39
price of silver down $3 per oz, down almost 4%, but the gold
2:46
price is barely down. So very strange how recently
2:50
gold has been much less volatile and silver is moving all over
2:55
the place. But guys, again, let's not
2:57
forget what, 10 days ago, two weeks ago.
3:00
So we were talking about holding on to $7172 per oz silver.
3:06
Another big reason why silver could be outperforming China.
3:10
OK, overnight, big news story, big story.
3:13
You're getting a lot of attention.
3:15
The actual silver price on the Shanghai Gold Exchange hit $100
3:21
per oz. And if we look at this data from
3:24
our friend, the OG himself, the Oriental Ghost from the Shanghai
3:30
Gold Exchange, in the Shanghai Futures Exchange, we can see
3:34
silver in China last night. All right, on the Shanghai Gold
3:40
Exchange, their physical market, their spot market closed at $98
3:46
per oz. Is maybe this why the silver
3:49
price is outperforming? And are you noticing 2 things on
3:53
this data? Number one, if we're at 98 in
3:57
China, let's go back here quickly.
4:00
Oh, wrong one. Here we are.
4:05
And we're at 84 in the United States in the spot market.
4:10
That's a $14.00 premium. Wow, I don't even know what
4:14
that's that's approaching like 1716% premium that China is
4:20
paying for silver. The other interesting thing to
4:24
point out on this is that their futures market, the Shanghai
4:29
Futures Exchange price is $98.11, which is slightly lower
4:36
than their spot market. That means that the Chinese
4:39
market is in a very slight state of backwardation, which means
4:43
people are willing to pay up for physical for the for the for the
4:49
physical silver. Is this the reason why back to
4:52
China. Here's a chart showing Chinese
4:56
silver imports. And guys, this is obviously been
5:00
getting crazy attention as it deserves.
5:04
This is the March China silver imports.
5:07
As you can see where my red line is.
5:10
This goes all the way back to 2009, so 17 years of data.
5:17
This is the range in which China imported silver.
5:21
This all the way up here is what they did in March, 836 tons of
5:29
silver imported 27,000,000 ounces in one month.
5:34
But wait, All right, so we know China.
5:37
We know we know what's going on with China devouring the world
5:40
silver. But something that we all kind
5:42
of forgot about that could be another factor at play right now
5:48
is Russia. Here's an article from Forbes.
5:51
This is from last summer, but it applies today as much as it did
5:56
one year ago today. Silver might be benefiting from
6:00
Russian central bank buying. This is from.
6:03
Believe it Yeah. From Forbes magazine.
6:05
OK, Silver moving out of the long shadow cast by gold.
6:09
Talks about how silver had been taking off, continued to take
6:14
off, but it's precious metal sister with hints of a major new
6:20
buyer referring to silver. Russia's central bank starting
6:24
to influence the silver price, which has risen to a 14 year
6:29
high. I thought there was more.
6:31
Yeah. Data is scarce.
6:33
But since Russia revealed a plan in late 2024 to add silver for
6:40
the first time to its state reserve fund, the silver price
6:44
has outperformed gold. So now as we know, right, And
6:49
it's not there there there's speculation that maybe a country
6:54
or two in the Middle East is also buying silver for their
6:58
sovereign wealth fund. So you've got China, you got not
7:01
Russia. We got to go check out our
7:05
friend Peter Schiff. And then we're going to talk
7:06
about why we're having trouble with the silver price at the
7:11
$90.00 level. And Vince Lancey put out a quick
7:14
short video that'll make it all real clear.
7:17
We're going to run into some, we're going to run into some
7:19
resistance like we are today at that $9090.00 level.
7:24
But we can get through it. But let's see what Peter Schiff
7:27
says regarding what's happening right now in the silver market.
7:31
Silver was up $2.00 yesterday, above 8850.
7:35
Gold is recovering earlier losses, but it's still down on
7:39
the day. Again, the strange situation
7:41
where silver was leading gold. And he says silver leading gold
7:47
is even more bullish for precious metals than when gold
7:51
leaves leads. Silver.
7:53
Inflation is running away as a weak economy and massive debt
7:59
sideline the Fed guys, there is nothing.
8:03
It's time for our daily reminder that will impact the the price
8:07
of gold and silver over the next decade.
8:10
Like inflation, inflation, inflation and what news did we
8:13
get this week? CPI numbers higher than
8:16
expected, PPI numbers, the the producer price index, the
8:20
wholesale prices, the business prices higher than expected.
8:25
Everything else truly, truly is noise.
8:28
Now we're going to talk about another secret factor coming
8:32
back into the silver market. Before we do that, I want to say
8:35
thank you to channel sponsor First Mint.

9:41
important thing and that is thank you, right you for being
9:45
here. Think about it, you're in the
9:47
basement with me. We're basement dwellers.
9:49

9:53
and silver because we understand history and we understand basic
9:58
mathematics. Please subscribe to the channel,
10:00
give the video, thumbs up, all that great stuff.
10:03
So some very interesting news about silver and investment
10:09
demand. This is one of the headwinds and
10:11
we're going to talk a little bit more about this later.
10:15
Let's pull this up. Give me one second.
10:18
Here it is. OK, Karl Marx brought this up.
10:23
There it is. ETF investors are back in
10:27
physical silver. We've talked about this a lot.
10:30
And if we look on this chart, right, let's get a different
10:34
color that sticks out for you. What do you say?
10:37
Orange today right here, I'm circling total ETF holdings of
10:42
silver in ounces over here on the far left.
10:46
You can see all the dates going down, down, down, down, down,
10:50
down, down, OK, up to the 12th of May.
10:54
What we just recently started to see down here, these three green
10:59
that I'm circling is that investors are coming back.
11:02
There were net additions to the ETFs.
11:06
Guys, we talked about this when it comes to investors and
11:10
silver, we don't need, although they are right as of that data,
11:15
we don't need people to start buying silver.
11:19
We just need people to stop selling silver, OK, which is
11:23
puts us in a great position like massive room for improvement.
11:27
It's like your kid coming home saying I got AD minus in math.
11:30
It's a lot easier to get a take AD minus up to AC or AB than it
11:35
is to go from AB to an AI. Hope that makes sense for you,
11:39
that look, the investors, when they come back into the silver
11:43
market, just the small amount will make a massive, massive
11:47
impact. And those are the Western
11:50
investors. And we're starting to see that
11:52
now after a day like today, right where we're having this
11:55
volatility. Maybe it'll pull back, whatever
11:57
the case may be, but it's just going to take the slightest.
12:01
I remember hearing Rick Rule saying like, we don't need, we
12:05
don't need people to love silver for it to do well.
12:09
We just needed to be a little less hated.
12:12
And I'm not talking about us. Obviously we love silver.
12:16
We love gold. We know right, the solid
12:18
fundamental story behind it. But it's all those other people
12:22
out there who we like to affectionately refer to as the
12:28
sheeple, right, for them to come into our line of thinking and to
12:33
start buying silver. OK, now let's talk about Vince
12:36
Lancey. I got a little video for us to
12:38
watch this. We we had this big great run up
12:43
in the silver price guys, remember 10 days ago we had $73
12:48
silver, two weeks ago we had $71 silver, 15 days ago.
12:51
Whatever, OK, we were going to hit some resistance at this
12:56
$8890.00 per oz level. We will get through it, but it
13:01
may take a couple tries. All over the weekend we talked
13:05
about, right, the fact that I, I predicted that I thought that by
13:09
Friday that we had a really good chance of having $8586 silver if
13:15
we close the week out at that level.
13:18
That is a very, very bullish factor moving forward.
13:23
I know it's no fun when we have red days.
13:25
Trust me, I don't like them, you don't like them.
13:27
None of us like them. But we got to be realistic,
13:29
right? Nothing will go up in a straight
13:32
line and the trend is our friend.
13:35
But let's listen to what Vince has to say about this kind of
13:38
recent action that we've had in the silver price.
13:47
OK. So we're about $0.90 away from
13:51
the first level on Poly, which is 8818.
13:54
And I would respect that level a lot considering how fast we got
13:57
to it. We should be selling the first
13:58
time we're there and the second time we're there, who knows.
14:00
But the first time we're there, someone's going to take profits
14:02
there. Look at this whole, look at this
14:04
whole structure over here, right and made a high.
14:25
It's like a little. Bit of head and shoulders thing
14:27
going on here. High high and high.
14:30
Now if this daily structure breaks out, meaning from 89 call
14:36
it 90 to it was 61 change it's called 62 from 89 to 62 that's
14:45
27 dollars $27.00 when a measured move added to 89 would
14:52
be 1/16. OK.
14:56
So 116 would be our next target if we got above 80?
14:59
116 if and when we get above 89, that pink line, there is a lot
15:05
of resistance there. It may give us a little trouble
15:08
in the coming weeks, but don't worry, basement dwellers, I
15:12
believe we'll get through it 9. But we would have to stop at
15:15
9395 first on, on this measure move here.
15:21
We're already, we're already in it.
15:23
We're already in it 80 to 70 that's $10.10 dollars added on
15:30
to 80, that's 90. So 88 to 90 is your is your is
15:33
your next level. This market should touch $88
15:36
today. I mean, it's trading 8720 now.
15:38
So, you know, not going to wood, but that's basically how the
15:42
system works. Let's move on to the all right.
15:46
Guys, so we've got some resistance at the 88 to $90.00
15:53
level and from there once we get through that, we're going to be
15:56
looking for around 1:15, 1/16 per oz in the silver price.
16:01
Let's go see what the inventories are doing because
16:04
Zero Hedge had some interesting data to point out.
16:07
Silver inventories in the COMEX vaults are back to pre tariff
16:13
levels. And where do you think all that
16:15
silver, I mean, look at this, all right?
16:18
It went way up here and here we are now back at this level.
16:23
My question for you is where do you think all that silver went?
16:27
Well, think about what we looked at earlier.
16:29
It all went to China, it all went to India, because we are
16:33
now absolutely in a physical driven market, no doubt about
16:39
it. And don't forget what we talked
16:41
about yesterday. I got to bring it up again.
16:43
This guy, Jody Visser, who's like one of the top artificial
16:47
intelligent guru investors out there, he publicly stated that
16:52
he was shifting his investment strategy more towards things
16:56
like silver because he knows that there's like, sure, AI is
17:00
coming, but the demand for silver from AI, the physical
17:05
demand for the metal. We got Scott Besent, our
17:08
Treasury Secretary, we're going to cover more of this tomorrow,
17:11
talking to South Korea, talking to Mexico about critical
17:15
minerals, including silver. It's a physical driven market
17:20
that we are in right now. And at the end of the day,
17:23
physical supply demand dynamics will trump, pardon the pun,
17:28
everything out there when it comes to this crazy, crazy paper
17:32
market that we have to deal with now.
17:35
I got some bad news for you, but then we got some good news.
17:39
Let's go out and see what North Star bad Charts is telling us.
17:43
Oh, well, there we are. Hold on.
17:45
I wanted to share this one more time.
17:47
Top AI expert says silver power in chemicals will be the next
17:51
Micron trade in. This was from Bloomberg.
17:54
Jodi Jordi, I'm sorry, this Sir was the person who's saying
17:58
that. All right, here we are.
17:59
North Star bad charts, 300 to $500 silver within a few months.
18:07
It cannot be ruled out and it's fantastic if it happens,
18:12
especially considering where he recommended people buy silver.
18:16
But he says, but I'm continuing to rate it as a low probability.
18:20
So he's saying that we probably won't get this 300 to $500
18:24
silver by summer. But there's some good news
18:27
because when we and this is the man when it comes to charting,
18:30
he's one of the top five technical analyst out there in
18:38
this yellow box right here, he says.
18:40
But please don't miss, don't misinterpret this.
18:44
My Bowl era silver price targets are multiples above today's
18:50
price. It's a question of how we get
18:53
there. Now that's relevant, right, For
18:56
people who are traders that want to get in and out, try to make a
18:59
quick buck, but it's not so relevant for investors and
19:03
stackers who correctly positioned years ago.
19:07
So what he's saying is this red box that you see in the upper
19:10
right, we may spend some time in that area.
19:15
OK. Again, he's not ruling out 300
19:18
to $500 silver sooner as opposed to later, but we may spend some
19:23
time in this red box. However, he reiterates that on a
19:28
long term basis, he absolutely thinks that we will have prices
19:32
much higher than where we are now.
19:34
More scary bad news coming out. This is getting a lot of
19:37
attention UBS, but I but then I want to point something out very
19:42
interesting about this UBS slashes year end silver price
19:46
forecast to 85 dollars. OK, basically, they're June,
19:52
September, and then even March. They dropped it to $75.
19:57
Now let's go see why We're going to go back to Vince Lancey
20:00
again. Thank you, Vince, for all the
20:02
awesome information that you provide to the entire precious
20:05
metals community. UBS warns silver upside is
20:09
narrowing fast. They reduced their silver price
20:13
forecast across all time horizons.
20:16
Siding a dramatic contraction in the projected 2026 market
20:22
deficit and persistent weakness and investment demand that
20:26
narrows near near term upside significance.
20:30
I don't agree with them and I'll tell you why they're saying that
20:34
the silver deficit is going to like almost go away.
20:37
They previously projected a 300 million oz shortage, but now
20:41
expected to narrow to 60 to 70 million ounces.
20:46
I'm just speculating, but maybe they're trying to get the price
20:49
down so they can buy more silver, driven by three factors
20:53
#1 reduced photovitallic demand, that's solar due to elevated
20:58
prices. I don't agree with that.
21:01
I think that with the energy crisis going on in the world
21:04
right now, with millions of 1,000,000, billions of people
21:10
moving into the consumer class around the world over the next
21:13
10 years that need electricity and there's nothing as efficient
21:18
and as effective for people that are in rural areas as solar,
21:22
that solar demand will continue. Weaker silverware and jewelry
21:27
consumption. Maybe silverware, but I disagree
21:31
with jewelry. I predicted 6 months ago the
21:34
jewelry could be the sleeper demand source for silver because
21:41
gold jewelry is becoming #1 much more expensive.
21:45
And I personally happen to prefer so the way silver looks
21:49
to the way gold looks. Just me, not, don't take it
21:52
personally. Number 3A, structural
21:55
deterioration in investment positioning.
21:58
Hey, we just looked at some data that showed a steady level in
22:02
the ETFs and actually some green activity that can change very,
22:07
very quickly. I'll tell you what I I see and
22:10
look, this is just my gut feeling.
22:11
I could be dead wrong. Please don't make any financial
22:14
decisions based on what I'm about to say here.
22:17
But I feel like we had this little bit of a mania in the
22:20
silver market back in December, January into early February of
22:25
this year. Obviously we've cooled off my
22:29
instincts after decades of following this market or that
22:34
that is going to come back and that it really truly could come
22:37
back this summer that we could have this, I don't know, just by
22:40
following other markets, stocks, bonds, reach out, you know, even
22:44
the metals over the years that we had that first wave and now
22:49
we've kind of slowed down, consolidated, but that maybe
22:54
like four or five weeks from now, maybe end of June, July,
22:59
August, that we could have this massive new like mania type
23:04
level of interest in the silver market.
23:07
I could be dead wrong. You can check with upstairs
23:09
Susie, she will confirm for you that I'm wrong about things on a
23:13
regular basis. But it just feels like when I
23:16
factor everything in technical fundamental that we're in for
23:21
some really, really great times ahead.
23:23
Alaska, we're going to talk about what Alaska did.
23:25
Very interesting. I do want to say thank you to
23:27
channel sponsor First Mining Gold.
23:30
They are a Canadian gold development stage company with
23:33
two huge multi million ounce projects in Canada.
23:36
Spring Pole in Ontario, Duparque located in Quebec, each of which
23:41
have millions of Oz of gold in the ground in Canada, which I
23:46
think will be a very hot commodity as we head into the
23:50
coming months, quarters and years.
23:52
It's a stock I owned long before they sponsored my channel.
23:57
I'm not a financial advisor, always do your own research, but
24:00
thank you to 1st Mining Gold for sponsoring Ron's basement.
24:04
Don't forget about that company right there.

24:27
OK, let's talk about Alaska because, right, all these little
24:32
things are happening right now in the Jennifer and Angela talk
24:37
to their healthcare providers World of precious metals.
24:39
I let Levdalzi, I let Levy. There's a commercial running in
24:43
the background somewhere. Alaska pass passes gold and
24:47
silver legal tender bill exempting precious metals from
24:50
sales tax. But it looks like it's a lot
24:53
more. Alaska is now poised to formally
24:56
recognize gold and silver as legal tender, placing the state
25:01
at the forefront of the US sound money movement.
25:06
This has been going on for several years now, state by
25:10
state, throughout the United States.
25:13
States are enacting legislation to recognize gold and silver as
25:17
legal tender. Texas, Florida, Maine there,
25:23
there's a whole list of Kansas. They're all over the place.
25:28
And in some of these states are doing a lot more right.
25:34
I think it's Texas set up a depository where people can
25:40
people can store their gold and silver, their legal tender
25:42
legislation. The states have the right
25:45
because it's in the United States Constitution.
25:48
Look, all these little bricks are falling into place for
25:51
precious metal that are going to do nothing but create more and
25:54
more demand for the metals as we move into the coming months,
25:59
quarters, years and decades. And we have a new Fed chairman,
26:02
right, Mr. Walsh, This is going to be interesting.
26:05
Remember, it's all noise because the Fed is essentially become
26:11
partially neutered. the Fed does not have as much sway or moxie
26:19
as they used to. But Kevin Walsh has been
26:21
nominated. And let's look at a couple key
26:24
points here about this Senate confirmed him Wednesday is the
26:30
next Fed Reserve chair. President Donald Trump has made
26:33
no secret that he expects Wash to lower rates after having
26:37
lashed out repeatedly that our old good friend Chair Jerome
26:41
Powell. Wash has been a consistent
26:43
critic of monetary policy and last year in a CBC CNBC
26:49
interview called for regime change at the central bank.
26:54
Look guys, it's going to be interesting and minimum it's
26:57
going to be entertaining. But really and if he does cut
27:01
rates, it's going to be wild for gold and silver because that
27:05
will further to increase that gap between interest rates and
27:10
inflation. But remember he does not have to
27:13
cut rates for gold and silver to do well because that gap between
27:17
interest rates and inflation that's negative real interest
27:21
rates. He can leave rates where they
27:23
are and is inflation like we we heard this week is already
27:27
happening, continues to go higher and higher and higher.
27:32
That will make the negative real interest rate computation even
27:36
more dramatic. And as an extra added bonus,
27:39
cherry on top, right, the fact that inflation is not capped in
27:43
anything, right? Ask people that lived in Weimar
27:46
Germany, right? The interest rates can go down
27:48
1%, let's say Max OK, inflation can go up 10%, fifteen percent,
27:54
3050, whatever. OK, we're in for some wild.
27:57
That will be the biggest factor. I'll say it one more time.
28:02
That will be the biggest factor affecting the precious metals
28:04
prices. It's real simple.
28:06
Things have gotten real simple for us.
28:08
All we got to do is watch inflation because it's
28:12
inflation. They can't raise rates like they
28:15
did in 1980, Paul Volcker to fight inflation.
28:18
They can't do it because back in 1980, we had $1 trillion in
28:24
debt. Today we have $40 trillion in
28:28
debt. If they raised interest rates to
28:31
15 percent like Volcker did, that would mean that that that
28:35
on an annualized basis as all that debt got re got re
28:40
refinanced that 40 trillion that would create 6 trillion in
28:44
interest expense. OK, let's move on.
28:49
Oh this is scary talk about the national debt.
28:52
This is this one shocked me a different way to look because
28:59
the national debt is a hole like a hole, like we're digging
29:03
ourselves into a hole. And I hadn't quite looked at it
29:06
this way. Usually they do it like on a on
29:09
the other way where the debt goes up.
29:11
The red section is our national debt.
29:14
Going back to let's get a different color, man, that's
29:18
small. Hold on here.
29:20
There we go, 1940. I'll circle that for you and
29:25
look at how our national debt, I mean it is like it looks like a
29:29
waterfall, like a collapse. I mean that is the hole that we
29:33
have dug ourselves. That is the hole that we are
29:35
into, basement dwellers. We got a lot of little secret
29:40
words. By the way, thank you for being
29:41
here. Don't forget to please subscribe
29:42
to the channel. But we're going to be talking a
29:44
lot about GFF like girlfriend Frank.
29:49
Frank, OK? Because that's what's going to
29:51
drive real simple at the top of the pyramid.
29:54
We have inflation that will be driving the price of gold and
29:58
silver as we move into this next decade.
30:01
But right below that GFF right, all the, the three things, the
30:05
three pillars that are going to create more and more demand for
30:10
the precious metals geopolitical, right.
30:13
The world has never been in a state of geopolitical strife
30:17
like we are in right now. Financial, fiscal, whatever you
30:22
want to call it, that that's the first F, right?
30:25
What we just looked at 40 trillion in U.S. debt.
30:28
And then the fundamentals. The fundamentals that number
30:32
one, there's only so much gold and silver on the planet.
30:36
You can print infinite dollars, you can print infinite yen,
30:40
whatever, EUR, the fundamentals. And with silver, you know, the
30:46
fundamentals are even more compelling.
30:49
We got a lot to look forward to, guys.
30:52
Let's keep up the great work, OK?
30:53
We'll get through these choppy waters.
30:56
They'll be volatility to the upside.
30:58
They'll be volatility to the downside.
31:01
Don't forget, just 10 days ago we had a silver price of $73.
31:06
And right now we're going to go on a field trip to see how much
31:10
worse it got. Take your blood pressure
31:12
medicine. Oh my gosh.
31:16
Oh, wow. OK, hold on here.
31:20
Here we are at Kitco. This is the spot price of silver
31:25
down $2.82. We're at $85 silver again.
31:29
OK, let's look here again. 8550 in the futures market.
31:38
Just 15 days ago we were at $71 silver just 10 days ago we were
31:47
at $73 silver. OK, we've had a great move to
31:52
the upside and there will absolutely be let's look at the
31:56
one day chart 'cause it was oh, but yeah, I bounced back wow OK,
32:01
who knows, right? Who knows?
32:04
I tell you what, if silver goes green today, I mean, the silver
32:08
has just been showing unbelievable strength and gold's
32:11
green, right? We're in the green with gold.
32:13
I don't know, guys, no matter how we look at it, right?
32:17
GF, geopolitical, financial, fundamental right, interest
32:22
rates, inflation rates going through the roof.
32:25
I believe we are in awesome, awesome shape when it comes to
32:29
oh, let's go look, let's do something fun.
32:31
Let's go look because that'll be the big thing now.
32:34
Let's go look and see. Now that they confirm wash,
32:36
let's go on a field trip together and see.
32:42
Hold on here, let's see what we have to look forward to with
32:47
interest rates. We're going to go to the Fed
32:51
MarketWatch tool, Fed watch. OK, so our next Fed meetings in
33:01
30-4 days, let's see what the predictions are.
33:04
We've not looked at this for quite a while, so that'll be the
33:08
17th of June. OK, so again guys, this is the
33:12
Fed watch. This is the current Fed rate 3.5
33:16
and they're basically saying, and I don't know if I guess he
33:20
will be officially the head of the Fed at that point.
33:23
They're basically saying there is about 100%, ninety, 7%
33:28
chance, excuse me, that rates will remain the same.
33:34
There is a tiny itsy bitsy 2 1/2 percent chance.
33:38
But now let's do something real interesting.
33:42
Let's go all the way out to December, right?
33:45
You're going to be going over your Christmas shopping list at
33:49
that point and see what they are predicting by that point.
33:53
So again, here's the current rate set by the Fed 3.5 and this
34:00
is interesting. They're actually predicting
34:04
about a 62% chance that rates will be the same, OK, but a 30%
34:11
chance that we will have higher interest rates up by 1/4 and a
34:16
5% chance that rates will be higher by 1/2 percent.
34:22
Remember now this is interesting and that proves this proves our
34:27
point, right? It the rates the, the, the, the
34:30
Fed in their rates don't really matter because if they did
34:35
right, that alone would have crashed the price of gold and
34:38
silver. Gold and silver are too smart.
34:41
They know what matters now is what we know matters now and
34:45
that is inflation. Guys, you got it.
34:48
We got it so critical and it's so exciting to understand,
34:51
right? Interest rates, they can only
34:53
get moved by 1/4, half percent, whatever the case may be, right?
34:57
Inflation, it can go up into Infinity.
35:02
We hope it doesn't. I'm not calling for that.
35:04
That would be a mass, you know, devaluation.
35:07
That would be hyperinflation. That would be $30.00 for a
35:10
gallon of gas, $40.00 for a gallon of milk.
35:14
But if you think about it, if you told somebody back in 1980,
35:20
right, that a gallon of gas would cost $6 or that a loaf of
35:24
bread would cost $3.50, that would have sounded like
35:29
hyperinflation. So that's what happens.
35:32
That's what we have to look forward to.
35:33
It's going to be very, very interesting.
35:35
Have a great day. Thank you guys for being here.
35:38
Take care, basement dwellers. Please subscribe to the channel,
35:41
give the video thumbs up, and we'll look forward to seeing you
35:44
soon. Bye bye.
