- 0:50Speaker 3: Mister has happened Today? We're gonna continue Jeremiah's Temple sermon.
- 0:56Speaker 3: The people believe the temple guarded God's protection, that they
- 1:02Speaker 3: were guaranteed protection from God regardless of how they live. Wow,
- 1:08Speaker 3: now does that sound familiar. God is about to expose
- 1:13Speaker 3: a false confidence and remind Judah that a holy God
- 1:19Speaker 3: cannot maintain or even be manipulated by religious activity. So
- 1:27Speaker 3: today's message is called a den of thieves. So let's
- 1:33Speaker 3: open our Bibles to Jeremiah chapter seven. Make sure you
- 1:37Speaker 3: bring your notepads and your highlighters and meet us in
- 1:40Speaker 3: a life chat every day Monday through Saturday at eleven
- 1:44Speaker 3: am Pacific Standard time. Just download that his hot radio
- 1:48Speaker 3: app HISHLP on hall platforms, hit that top left menu,
- 1:53Speaker 3: hit that drop down click on live chat and as easy,
- 1:58Speaker 3: it only takes a few seconds of register. Just type
- 2:01Speaker 3: in your username, email, adjusts, and password and we want
- 2:07Speaker 3: to say welcome to his hot family. Today. We're going
- 2:14Speaker 3: to start in verse eleven, chapter seven, and we're coming
- 2:23Speaker 3: at you from the new king, James the first. Let's
- 2:28Speaker 3: go before our father in prayer. Emily, Father, we thank
- 2:33Speaker 3: you for another day. We ask you, Father God for
- 2:35Speaker 3: the rainmo word. Father, Father God, help us Lord just
- 2:39Speaker 3: to sit at your feet. Father, Help us Lord to
- 2:42Speaker 3: live a life of obedience. Help us, O God, give
- 2:45Speaker 3: us guidance and give us direction on God each and
- 2:51Speaker 3: every day. Father God, we want to hear from you.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Fill us with your spirits. Help us, o, God, not
- 2:57Speaker 3: to just trust in going to church or religious activities,
- 3:02Speaker 3: but help us Lord to truly lived a life submitted
- 3:06Speaker 3: unto you. And we asked this in Jesus's mighty name. Amen,
- 3:16Speaker 3: all right? Verse eleven, has this house which is called
- 3:22Speaker 3: by my name become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold,
- 3:29Speaker 3: I even I have seen it, says the Lord Man.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Now this is straight rebuke, straight correction, but it's done
- 3:39Speaker 3: out of love. If only they would have listened, it
- 3:43Speaker 3: would have spared them judgment. Let's break it down now.
- 3:48Speaker 3: God confronts the people directly. They had turned the temple
- 3:59Speaker 3: into a hiding place. Instead of repenting, they committed sin,
- 4:09Speaker 3: and they ran to the temple believing they were safe.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Now the temple had become a refuge for hypocrisy rather
- 4:23Speaker 3: than a place of true worship. Wow wy wow wow.
- 4:29Speaker 3: We can see that in the church today. God sees
- 4:33Speaker 3: beyond outward appearance. Now, family, this verse becomes so important
- 4:38Speaker 3: that Jesus quoted it centuries later when he cleansed the temple.
- 4:47Speaker 3: God never intended his house to be a place where
- 4:50Speaker 3: people hid their sin. Intended to be a place where
- 4:57Speaker 3: people surrendered their sin. There's a huge contrast to that.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Remember when Jesus turned over the tables and he made
- 5:08Speaker 3: a quart of whips, and he whipped the people and
- 5:11Speaker 3: drove him out, and he said, do not make my
- 5:14Speaker 3: father's house a den of thieves. Yeah, he meant that
- 5:21Speaker 3: a man like you lost another one. Now twelve through fourteen.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But go now to my place which is in Siel,
- 5:39Speaker 3: I mean Shiloh, where I set my name at the
- 5:43Speaker 3: first and see what I did to it because of
- 5:48Speaker 3: the wickedness of my people Israel. And now because you
- 5:52Speaker 3: have done all these works, says the Lord, and I
- 5:57Speaker 3: spoke to you, rising up early in speaking, but you
- 6:02Speaker 3: did not hear. And I called you, but you did
- 6:06Speaker 3: not answer. Therefore, I will do the doe to the
- 6:10Speaker 3: house which is called by my name, in which you trust,
- 6:16Speaker 3: and to those this place which I gave to you
- 6:20Speaker 3: and your father's, as I have done to Shiloh. Now
- 6:28Speaker 3: God points them to Shiloh. Now Shiloh had once been
- 6:34Speaker 3: Israel's major worship sinner where the Tabernacle stood, Yet God
- 6:42Speaker 3: allowed it to be destroyed because of the persistent sin.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Now remember that was the Northern Kingdom, and he points
- 6:54Speaker 3: to them. God will always point to us an example,
- 6:58Speaker 3: an object lesson. That's exactly what the Bible is for us.
- 7:03Speaker 3: We are to learn from the mistakes of others. Now,
- 7:16Speaker 3: the presence of religious history does not guarantee future blessing.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Just because there's been a work of God. Just because
- 7:27Speaker 3: you may have family members in the ministry does not
- 7:31Speaker 3: guarantee that you will be blessed or that you even
- 7:35Speaker 3: make it into the Kingdom. Every generation must choose obedience.
- 7:43Speaker 3: God does not have grandchildren. Many people will rely on
- 7:49Speaker 3: past experiences. My grandparents were believers, or I grew up
- 7:57Speaker 3: in church, or I was baptized years ago, or God
- 8:04Speaker 3: isn't asking about yesterday. God is asking us about today.
- 8:09Speaker 3: What is happening in your life today? How is your
- 8:16Speaker 3: walk in relationship with God today? That is what God
- 8:22Speaker 3: wants to know Verse fifteen. And I will cast you
- 8:27Speaker 3: out of my sight, as I have cast out all
- 8:30Speaker 3: your brethren, the whole prosterity of Ephraim. Now God reminds
- 8:40Speaker 3: Judah of what happened to the northern Kingdom of Israel.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Israel had already been taken into captivity because of rebellion.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Judah ignored that warning. History becomes a teacher when people
- 9:00Speaker 3: people are willing to learn from it. We can be
- 9:05Speaker 3: taught by history, like I said, and by the example
- 9:08Speaker 3: of others. Unfortunately, Judah refused to be taught. Family. One
- 9:18Speaker 3: of the greatest mistakes we can make is ignoring lessons
- 9:22Speaker 3: from the past. Right, like I said, That's why we
- 9:27Speaker 3: got to get in the word. We cannot ignore the
- 9:31Speaker 3: Old Testament or even the New Testament. Got it already
- 9:37Speaker 3: shown Judah what rebellion produces. Right, Rebellion will always produce
- 9:43Speaker 3: destruction and devastation. Yet they continue down the same path,
- 9:52Speaker 3: They continue to do the same thing Verse sixteen. Therefore,
- 10:00Speaker 3: do not pray for this people who would lift up
- 10:05Speaker 3: a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to me,
- 10:10Speaker 3: for I will now hear now you know it's bad.
- 10:14Speaker 3: These are like some of the scariest words that you
- 10:17Speaker 3: could read in the Bible, and God says, don't even
- 10:21Speaker 3: pray for a particular individual. In this case and entire nation.
- 10:29Speaker 2: It looks like you lost another one.
- 10:32Speaker 3: The people had repeatedly rejected God's mercy and ignored his warning.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Judgment had become unavoidable at this point. This is sobering.
- 10:49Speaker 3: This was not because God lacked compassion. Rather, the people
- 10:53Speaker 3: had continually hardened themselves against every opportunity to repent. Family.
- 11:00Speaker 3: God's patience is incredible, but Scripture repeatedly teach us not
- 11:09Speaker 3: to presume upon his patience. Every warning from God is
- 11:14Speaker 3: an opportunity to respond to him a man. Let us
- 11:20Speaker 3: have personal hearts and personal ears to hear what the
- 11:26Speaker 3: voice is saying. Amen, do you not see what they
- 11:34Speaker 3: do in the cities of Judah and in the streets
- 11:38Speaker 3: of Jerusalem the children gather, would the fathers kindle the fire,
- 11:43Speaker 3: and the women knel doe me the dough to make
- 11:48Speaker 3: cakes for the Queen of heaven, and they pour out
- 11:52Speaker 3: drink offerings to offer gods that they may provoke me
- 11:59Speaker 3: to aim. Why dollarsty had become a family activity. Entire
- 12:06Speaker 3: households participated in worshiping false gods. The queen of heaven
- 12:13Speaker 3: it was a pagan fertility godlet goddess worshiped through the region.
- 12:25Speaker 3: So you know what they did. Fertility. That means it
- 12:28Speaker 3: was pornographic in nature. Idolatry is it merely bowing before statues.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Anything that takes God's rifle place in our lives becomes
- 12:43Speaker 3: an idol. Anything. It could be your family, It could
- 12:47Speaker 3: be modern idols may look different, but it could be
- 12:54Speaker 3: your family. It could be money, success, it could be popularity, entertainment, relationships.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Anything we place above God becomes dangerous Verse nineteen and twenty.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Do they provoke me to anger, says the Lord? Do
- 13:20Speaker 3: they not provoke themselves to the shame of their own faces? Therefore,
- 13:27Speaker 3: thus says the Lord, God beholds my anger, and my
- 13:32Speaker 3: fury will be poured out on this place, on men,
- 13:37Speaker 3: and on beasts, and on trees and fields, and on
- 13:42Speaker 3: the fruit of the ground, and it will burn and
- 13:47Speaker 3: not be quenched. Wow, that's serious. God reveals a profound
- 13:55Speaker 3: truth right here. Their rebellion wasn't hurting God, it was
- 13:59Speaker 3: hurting themselves. Else sin always damages the sinner that break
- 14:07Speaker 3: God's heart, but ultimately the sinner will suffer. God's commands
- 14:16Speaker 3: are given for our benefit. Never forget that God's commands
- 14:22Speaker 3: are there to protect us when people reject God's ways
- 14:28Speaker 3: and experience the destructive consequences of sin. Hey man, now, family,
- 14:35Speaker 3: every command God gives comes from a heart of love.
- 14:41Speaker 3: God isn't trying to limit our joy. He's protecting us
- 14:46Speaker 3: from destruction. Now. The enemy says obedience takes freedom away.
- 14:53Speaker 3: God says obedience leads to life. The question is will
- 15:04Speaker 3: we obey? All right, let's take a break.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Family, You are listening to the light of Las Vegas.
- 15:18Speaker 4: This is the hiss Hop radio show.
- 15:27Speaker 5: H uh uh uh uh I brother, I'm gonna be
- 15:46Speaker 5: a big brother. You ain't got a lot of time.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Get your head about the gut or only because if
- 15:50Speaker 5: you will love her, cut the prayers that your mother.
- 15:52Speaker 5: If you love to make her cry, you can't really
- 15:53Speaker 5: say you loved about the devil is a line. I
- 15:55Speaker 5: don't want to see you suffer. Keep on playing God
- 15:57Speaker 5: and here gonna mess a round and pull your covers.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Only way to have and there would never be another.
- 16:01Speaker 4: If I said it in a minute, I don't stutter.
- 16:03Speaker 4: When I heard her, I'm aa lock.
- 16:04Speaker 5: It ain't no great time. I just clocked him praise dance.
- 16:06Speaker 5: This ain't double Dutch. But I'm hopping big man, double
- 16:09Speaker 5: big man.
- 16:09Speaker 3: He like it's up.
- 16:10Speaker 5: I'm with the big man. If you make him man,
- 16:12Speaker 5: he like it's huffed road titer. But the headquarters up
- 16:14Speaker 5: and stocked him popped.
- 16:15Speaker 4: And you do it for the Lord. There ain't no flopping.
- 16:18Speaker 5: There goes to make it in the heaven, not the
- 16:19Speaker 5: top ten. If anybody tell you different, you should drop them.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Don Are you safe?
- 16:25Speaker 5: But you ain't watching what you're watching what you say? Yeah,
- 16:27Speaker 5: you're praising what the liter is the custom out to day? Yeah,
- 16:29Speaker 5: I know that you believe.
- 16:30Speaker 3: The question is that you obey, you.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Don't do church the passer point of things, and you
- 16:35Speaker 5: got hurt. Only God adjust me.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I know that's what you heard.
- 16:38Speaker 5: But that's true Fox, because it isn't in the world.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Are you a thug? You don't smile for the camera.
- 16:45Speaker 5: You just mugged you the man because you kick it
- 16:47Speaker 5: with the plug. You don't need another gun.
- 16:49Speaker 1: You need a hug.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Y'all went there, but as a big brother, brod been there.
- 16:52Speaker 4: I was raised better, but it was living like.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I didn't care.
- 16:55Speaker 5: I was tripping thing and alls him because I had
- 16:57Speaker 5: chin hair to a hundred losses, just.
- 16:58Speaker 4: To realize you can't wait here.
- 17:00Speaker 5: The lowest potage is new that I repent there, not
- 17:02Speaker 5: only time I'm in the darkness.
- 17:03Speaker 3: If I'm sent there, but spirit with me.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Say you know I'm bringing him there to break the
- 17:07Speaker 4: Yoko bondage.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Into free You bring it center and bring it to
- 17:09Speaker 5: the father, even if you got a link there. Eternity
- 17:12Speaker 5: is real and every one of us will enter it.
- 17:13Speaker 5: So you can let me on the way to hell
- 17:15Speaker 5: or hate me up to heaven. Later I can get there.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I bother.
- 17:19Speaker 5: I'm gonna be a big brother. You ain't got a
- 17:21Speaker 5: lot of time. I'll get your head about the gutter
- 17:22Speaker 5: only because you will love a cut the prayers that
- 17:24Speaker 5: your mother, if you love him, make a crid and
- 17:26Speaker 5: you can't really say you love about the devil is
- 17:28Speaker 5: a line. I don't want to see you suffer. Keep
- 17:30Speaker 5: on playing god and here gonna mess around and put
- 17:31Speaker 5: your covers. Only one way up to heaven that would
- 17:33Speaker 5: never be another.
- 17:34Speaker 4: If I said it in a minute, I don't start
- 17:36Speaker 4: when a hut.
- 17:36Speaker 3: I'm gonna lock it.
- 17:39Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna lock that. Yeah yeah yeah.
- 17:48Speaker 4: You are listening to the Light of Las Vegas. This
- 17:51Speaker 4: is the His Hop Radio show.
- 18:10Speaker 3: All right or right? We are back from the break
- 18:12Speaker 3: that as our brother e gr with Big Brother right
- 18:17Speaker 3: here on his Hot radio podcast. Look him up at
- 18:21Speaker 3: his EGR. Check out his YouTube page, give him a like,
- 18:25Speaker 3: a follow, a subscribe, check them out on the social media.
- 18:30Speaker 3: We need to support those who are being faithful to
- 18:33Speaker 3: the call amen, faithful to the word. I'm your brother
- 18:37Speaker 3: missing his hot This is his Hot radio podcast. A
- 18:41Speaker 3: quick shout out to the Light Chat. And yesterday I
- 18:45Speaker 3: was not able to make it into the light Chat
- 18:47Speaker 3: because my wife, she was on her way to pick
- 18:51Speaker 3: up our daughter from the airport. Shout out to our money.
- 18:55Speaker 3: She is doing some great beings at her age. She
- 18:59Speaker 3: was in a national program where she was able to
- 19:03Speaker 3: take a trip all the way to Florida and received
- 19:08Speaker 3: some awards and some training out there. And so as
- 19:12Speaker 3: she was coming back to Vegas, my wife picked her
- 19:15Speaker 3: up and then she got two flat tires, which is crazy.
- 19:18Speaker 3: I don't know if she ran over something or what,
- 19:21Speaker 3: and so I had to get off work early and
- 19:24Speaker 3: everything and go and make sure they were good. It's
- 19:28Speaker 3: blazing hot out here in Las Vegas, so I didn't
- 19:30Speaker 3: want them to stand out in the heat. For some reason,
- 19:33Speaker 3: the tow truck companies have a policy to where they
- 19:38Speaker 3: can only allow one person to ride, you know, once
- 19:41Speaker 3: they pick up your vehicle. So it was three of
- 19:44Speaker 3: them total because she had my daughter and also the
- 19:47Speaker 3: youngest son with her, so I didn't want them to
- 19:51Speaker 3: be out left in the heat. So I had to
- 19:55Speaker 3: go grab them, and so I was not able to
- 19:58Speaker 3: make it into the life chat. Shout out to our
- 20:00Speaker 3: brother Zone three for checking on me. He hit me
- 20:03Speaker 3: up yesterday. Appreciate you brother, Appreciate your prayers. But yes, yes,
- 20:09Speaker 3: meet us in a life chat every day Monday through
- 20:12Speaker 3: Saturday at eleven am Pacific Standard time to get some encouragement,
- 20:17Speaker 3: to pray with each other, just to stay connected. Sometimes
- 20:20Speaker 3: we just need to be encouraged. Amen. That was time
- 20:27Speaker 3: for the accountability Partner segment, talking about the live chat.
- 20:30Speaker 3: We love to hold each other accountable because the Bible
- 20:34Speaker 3: says the narrow path is a path that leads to life,
- 20:38Speaker 3: and difficult it can be, and only a few will
- 20:40Speaker 3: find it. And so for those who are on that
- 20:44Speaker 3: narrow path, we want to encourage you in strengthening you
- 20:47Speaker 3: on that path as we seek to make it into
- 20:53Speaker 3: the kingdom together. Amen, we need to avoid all the pitfalls.
- 21:01Speaker 3: And so the Accountability Partner segment this is where we
- 21:06Speaker 3: give you daily challenges, daily questions you can call and
- 21:11Speaker 3: talk about and ask your accountability partner. And also on
- 21:14Speaker 3: the app, go to the top level menu, hit that
- 21:18Speaker 3: drop down, click on podcasts and click on the his
- 21:21Speaker 3: Hot radio podcast yours Truly. Just scroll down until you
- 21:25Speaker 3: see the accountability partner link. Right there is where you
- 21:31Speaker 3: can go over the questions. They're mainly for self check.
- 21:36Speaker 3: It's always good to check on where you're at and
- 21:40Speaker 3: you might be a little off and God's word is
- 21:43Speaker 3: there to keep us on the right path. Amen. And
- 21:49Speaker 3: you can request to follow up because there's power and
- 21:52Speaker 3: agreement when we agree in prayer to sell hell. On
- 21:57Speaker 3: over to the life Chats if you want to follow along,
- 22:00Speaker 3: and it says, are there any modern idols competing for
- 22:07Speaker 3: first place in your relationship with God, any modern idols.
- 22:12Speaker 3: We've spoke about it before on this podcast. It could
- 22:15Speaker 3: be family, friends, it could be money, anything. It could
- 22:19Speaker 3: even be ministry, anything that you're a place more important
- 22:24Speaker 3: than your relationship with God. And sometimes my schedule gets busy,
- 22:30Speaker 3: and if like on Wednesday Night Bible study, First of all,
- 22:39Speaker 3: I go to church kind of far from where I
- 22:42Speaker 3: live because I love the presence and the word that
- 22:45Speaker 3: is preached, and so it takes me a little while
- 22:49Speaker 3: to make it home after Wednesday Night Bible studies, and
- 22:54Speaker 3: so on Wednesday nights are tough for me. Sometimes I
- 22:58Speaker 3: don't get to bed until after a and so if
- 23:03Speaker 3: I wake up late, I have a choice. I'm like, Okay,
- 23:07Speaker 3: do I record the podcast and everything or do I
- 23:12Speaker 3: just spend time in prayer with God. And I haven't
- 23:16Speaker 3: been perfect always. Sometimes I try to record and then
- 23:19Speaker 3: I try to make up prayer throughout the day, which
- 23:22Speaker 3: you know that never really happens. And so lately I've
- 23:25Speaker 3: been saying, you know what, I got to spend time
- 23:28Speaker 3: in prayer with God because I don't want this platform
- 23:31Speaker 3: to become an idol. I don't want to place it
- 23:35Speaker 3: above God. And so sometimes you'll see me in the
- 23:37Speaker 3: Life Chat and say, Hey, we're gonna play a replay
- 23:41Speaker 3: today because I had to spend more time in prayer.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I'm saying, look, I don't want to miss my time
- 23:46Speaker 3: with God, and so I'll have to put the podcast
- 23:51Speaker 3: on the back burner. And so for you, it might
- 23:55Speaker 3: be something else. It could be watching the news instead
- 23:59Speaker 3: of prayer, could be watching Netflix instead of worshiping. It
- 24:02Speaker 3: could be spending time with your wife and children and
- 24:07Speaker 3: not spending time in the Word or prayer. Whatever you
- 24:11Speaker 3: place a love God could be potentially become an idol.
- 24:16Speaker 3: So pray together and ask God to reveal anything that
- 24:21Speaker 3: has taken his rightful place, anything that's holy spirit, What
- 24:27Speaker 3: has taken your rightful place in my life? Amen. Also,
- 24:36Speaker 3: we're gonna let you know that His Hot Radio is
- 24:38Speaker 3: a monitor and a reporting radio station. If you have
- 24:42Speaker 3: a project, if you have a song you want to
- 24:45Speaker 3: submit to us, hit us up on our website His
- 24:48Speaker 3: Hot Nation dot com. Hit that submissions tab and we
- 24:53Speaker 3: report to three different charts. Check out our promo packages.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Very affordable if you want to get that exposure on
- 25:04Speaker 3: our network. All right, all right, it's trivia time once again.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Shout out to his own. Three are trivia champion. Who's
- 25:18Speaker 3: gonna be contender for today? Now here's a question. What
- 25:27Speaker 3: was the name of the place where the tabernacle stood
- 25:30Speaker 3: before Jerusalem became Israel's primary place of worship? Let me
- 25:38Speaker 3: say that again.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Which was.
- 25:42Speaker 3: The Which was the name of the place where the
- 25:45Speaker 3: tabernacle stood before Jerusalem became Israel's primary place of worship?
- 25:54Speaker 3: In other words, there was a place and location. God
- 25:58Speaker 3: is a god of order, so God picked and chose
- 26:02Speaker 3: a place to worship him, and there is a place
- 26:07Speaker 3: where they will meet God and worship before Israel became
- 26:12Speaker 3: the national place. What was the name of that place?
- 26:17Speaker 3: There is a scripture reference, but you can find it
- 26:20Speaker 3: only in the Life Chat. We need that help, that
- 26:24Speaker 3: assistance in the first one to post the answer in
- 26:29Speaker 3: the Life Chat wins bragging rights for today. Time for
- 26:38Speaker 3: our community. Shout out. If you have an event, let
- 26:41Speaker 3: us know. We'll shout you out here on the radio station. Also,
- 26:45Speaker 3: this is where we give you the updates of our activities.
- 26:49Speaker 3: July seventh is our day to go minister at the
- 26:53Speaker 3: Juvenile Detention Center. We will be down there to minister. Also,
- 27:01Speaker 3: August twenty ninth, we will be at the Resort World
- 27:05Speaker 3: Ministry and at a business mixer. And also we've been
- 27:11Speaker 3: invited to like a sporting event or I gotta get
- 27:16Speaker 3: more information and more details on that, and we will
- 27:19Speaker 3: let you know here on the podcast. Hey man, if
- 27:24Speaker 3: you can come out and support, we would appreciate it.
- 27:28Speaker 3: We will meet you there past but not least, We're
- 27:35Speaker 3: want to let you know that His Hot Nation is
- 27:37Speaker 3: a nonprofit organization of five oh one c three public charity.

- 27:50Speaker 3: for grants, grant writers, volunteers. And the good news is
- 27:55Speaker 3: that it's all tax deductible. You can write it all off.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Believe that this is a good ground. We still believe
- 28:02Speaker 3: that God's will and God's purpose is to open up
- 28:04Speaker 3: another Christian hip hop club so that we can minister
- 28:11Speaker 3: to the city of malas Vacas, so that we can
- 28:13Speaker 3: take over the city for the name of Christ. If
- 28:18Speaker 3: God is calling you, if God has spoken to you,
- 28:22Speaker 3: do not hesitate to call to contact us on our website,
- 28:27Speaker 3: his hotmins dot com or on the app His Hot
- 28:31Speaker 3: Radio on all platforms. All right, belove it. That is
- 28:40Speaker 3: my time. Thank you for kicking it with us here
- 28:43Speaker 3: on his Hot Radio podcast. That was time for some
- 28:49Speaker 3: final comments, some application, and we're gonna close it out
- 28:54Speaker 3: in prayer. As we look back at Jeremiah seven, verses
- 29:00Speaker 3: eleven through twenty, we can observe and see that God
- 29:05Speaker 3: sees through religious hypocrisies. He sees it all right. There's
- 29:10Speaker 3: no point, there's no future in your front right. Religious
- 29:15Speaker 3: buildings cannot replace obedience. So just because there's a nice
- 29:20Speaker 3: religious place to worship does not guarantee that we're right
- 29:26Speaker 3: with God. Every generation must choose faithfulness. We might have
- 29:34Speaker 3: had a move of God in our parents' generation, but
- 29:38Speaker 3: we got to choose faithfulness in our generation as well
- 29:42Speaker 3: for the removing to for the movement of God to continue.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Ignoring history often leads to repeating it. We can repeat
- 29:56Speaker 3: the same mistakes if we do not learn from history.
- 30:03Speaker 3: And Judah had the example of the Northern Kingdom, but
- 30:10Speaker 3: Judah failed to take heed to that. Idolatry damages families
- 30:18Speaker 3: and communities. Sin will always hurt you in an end.
- 30:24Speaker 3: The very sin that you are rebelling against God for
- 30:28Speaker 3: will turn and punish you, and sin ultimately harms the
- 30:36Speaker 3: sinner and man. That's what I'm saying is that ultimately
- 30:45Speaker 3: is not gonna hurt God. It breaks his heart, but
- 30:49Speaker 3: it's not gonna damage his kingdom. It's not gonna damage Heaven,
- 30:53Speaker 3: is not gonna take away anything from him except for
- 30:59Speaker 3: a broken heart. But as far as the damaged people
- 31:02Speaker 3: are in eternity being punished forever because of this sin
- 31:07Speaker 3: that they've allowed to dominate their lives. Are we using
- 31:14Speaker 3: religion to hide from God or are we allowing God
- 31:17Speaker 3: to transform our hearts? That is the question of today. Amen.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Now let's pray, Heavenly Father, help us pursue genuine relationship
- 31:34Speaker 3: with You rather than empty religion. Lord, reveal any idol
- 31:41Speaker 3: in our lives. Lord, teach us to walk in obedience
- 31:44Speaker 3: and in truth. Help us learn from the mistakes of
- 31:49Speaker 3: those who came before us. May our worship be sincere
- 31:54Speaker 3: and pleasing in your sight. And we ask this and
- 31:59Speaker 3: ge' this mighty name. Amen, and please remember it's not
- 32:06Speaker 3: about us, It's about the Christ in us. God. Bless y'all.
- 32:26Speaker 4: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 32:30Speaker 4: is the Hiss Hop Radio show
