Speaker 1: I got loud runs in my ears. That means it's Friday.
0:11
Speaker 1: I mean, it's time for the Stardom Sidham Show. Welcome everybody.
0:14
Speaker 1: I'm Marcus Grant, He's Michael left florya Lakwan Jones to
0:17
Speaker 1: be along a little bit later on Welcome to Week thirteen.
0:20
Speaker 1: It started with a bang last night.
0:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, let's move on to the rest of the week.
0:24
Speaker 1: Lease do that. Someone in their Stardom Centum columnich you
0:28
Speaker 1: can find at nfl dot com slash start sip might
0:30
Speaker 1: have suggested to DK Metcalf. I'm not naming any names
0:34
Speaker 1: who would do that, but you know whatever, you know,
0:38
Speaker 1: sometimes you take a big swing and you corkscrew yourself
0:41
Speaker 1: into the ground and you lose. It happened to the
0:44
Speaker 1: best of us. I'm not gonna say that we didn't
0:46
Speaker 1: sit here on the NFL Fantasy Football Show earlier this
0:48
Speaker 1: week and say, hey, maybe you try to get away
0:50
Speaker 1: from your Seahawks, only to have them go out and
0:52
Speaker 1: have themselves a day even at a loss against the
0:55
Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboy.
0:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, Bland was he was toast on Thursday night. The
1:01
Speaker 2: whole Cowboys defense like what they just know showed.
1:04
Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, ye put in fact, Oh wait, wait,
1:07
Speaker 1: I'm just DK Metcalf just scored another touchdown. Oh I
1:10
Speaker 1: mention he's going to be even more top starts and
1:13
Speaker 1: sins of week thirteen. We're telling you who's going to
1:16
Speaker 1: pile up the points and LQ is gonna come by
1:18
Speaker 1: to give us his latest top five less but let's
1:21
Speaker 1: get started with the QB starts and since for week thirteen?
1:25
Speaker 1: Which signal callers? Do you and don't you like?
1:28
Speaker 2: Tua tongue of I looa because he's awesome and he
1:31
Speaker 2: as the best matchup a quarterback could have. Sam Hall,
1:33
Speaker 2: Trevor Lawrence has been riding hot.
1:35
Speaker 1: I think he just ride with him.
1:36
Speaker 2: Brock Perdy is a must start in this matchup against
1:40
Speaker 2: the Eagles. Matthew Stafford, even after his big game last week.
1:43
Speaker 2: I think as they sit on, these ones are for
1:45
Speaker 2: guys who are streaming, because I wrote about a whole
1:47
Speaker 2: bunch of streaming options in the article, but Kenny Pickett
1:50
Speaker 2: will Levis I would not stream them because I know
1:52
Speaker 2: a lot of you need streaming options. With six teams
1:55
Speaker 2: on by this.
1:55
Speaker 1: Week, HMM makes a note to take Kenny Pickett out
1:58
Speaker 1: of his lineup and go back to the waiver. All right, Uh,
2:01
Speaker 1: let's talk about some of these guys individually though, because
2:04
Speaker 1: Sam Howell it's been hard to figure out his pass
2:07
Speaker 1: catchers in Washington. But Sam Howell is racking up yards.
2:11
Speaker 1: I know A Powell Matt Harmons sort of said there
2:12
Speaker 1: are a lot of empty calories maybe, but their calories. Nonetheless,
2:16
Speaker 1: he's still putting up numbers.
2:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, Like it doesn't always look pretty the thing.
2:21
Speaker 2: And you were the first one saying it, like, don't
2:23
Speaker 2: watch Sam Howe's games if you start Sam Howe. But
2:26
Speaker 2: somehow someway, this guy always comes through. Last week he
2:29
Speaker 2: did not throw a touchdown, he still scored seventeen fantasy points.
2:32
Speaker 2: He is topped seventeen fantasy points in five straight and
2:35
Speaker 2: eight of his last nine and finished as a QB
2:38
Speaker 2: one in all eight of those games. Leads the league
2:41
Speaker 2: in passing. Like you said, only CJ. Stroud this year
2:44
Speaker 2: has more three hundred yard passing games. And the Miami
2:47
Speaker 2: Dolphins are going to light up this commander's defense. So
2:50
Speaker 2: Sam Howill being catchup mode, that's when he's at his
2:52
Speaker 2: best for fantasy purposes.
2:53
Speaker 1: People who love the lost Sausage and Sam Howe fantasy
2:56
Speaker 1: point should watch neither one being made. Meanwhile, Matthew Stafford
3:00
Speaker 1: and has not had a great statistical season, and he's
3:04
Speaker 1: got the Browns defense. Look, I know they're beat up
3:06
Speaker 1: a little bit across that defense, but it still seems
3:09
Speaker 1: like a bad situation for Stafford.
3:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, and no offense to the Cardinals defense. They are
3:14
Speaker 2: a great matchup and the Browns are the exact opposite
3:18
Speaker 2: of that. And even in that great matchup last week,
3:20
Speaker 2: Stafford threw four touchdowns, he was still held to under
3:22
Speaker 2: two hundred and forty passing yards for a six straight game.
3:25
Speaker 2: That was only his second game with multiple passing touchdowns
3:29
Speaker 2: this season. And the Browns they've allowed the fewest by far,
3:32
Speaker 2: the fewest passing yards to quarterbacks, the fewest touchdowns, They're
3:36
Speaker 2: in the bottom three, and fantasy points allowed to the position.
3:38
Speaker 2: Stafford's not going to run.
3:39
Speaker 1: We know that.
3:40
Speaker 2: So the bad matchup a whole bunch of reasons. I
3:43
Speaker 2: would say to try your best to go in a
3:45
Speaker 2: different directions. Yeah, I think at this point you probably
3:48
Speaker 2: know how to avoid Stafford. You also just hope that
3:50
Speaker 2: he doesn't bring down the wide receivers with him.
3:52
Speaker 1: Speaking of wide receivers, let's take a look at the
3:55
Speaker 1: start sit list four week thirteen. Who do you have?
3:59
Speaker 2: Michael Pittman and Josh Downs. I love them both this week.
4:03
Speaker 2: Calvin Ridley is just great when Jay Jones is out there,
4:06
Speaker 2: Courtland Sutton is basically catching a touchdown every week. Rashid
4:09
Speaker 2: Rice really safe floor and he's starting to break out
4:12
Speaker 2: as of late. I think the Sis Drake London because
4:15
Speaker 2: Sauce Gardner and the Jets DeAndre Hopkins because Will Levis.
4:19
Speaker 2: Chris Godwin has just not been Chris Godwin like, and
4:22
Speaker 2: then Amari Cooper good thing. I gave a bonus or
4:24
Speaker 2: it would have been blank there and heveryone would have
4:27
Speaker 2: been like, oh yeah, that's where DK goes, like.
4:30
Speaker 1: Just I know who was there? Who you put in
4:32
Speaker 1: that spot there? Yeah, we'll see about that. Anyway. Let's
4:36
Speaker 1: talk about the Colts wide receivers because they've been pretty
4:39
Speaker 1: good all year. I'm still amazed that when you look,
4:42
Speaker 1: like depending on where you look, Josh Downs is available
4:45
Speaker 1: in like forty five to forty nine percent of leagues
4:49
Speaker 1: across platforms. I don't understand it, but both these guys
4:52
Speaker 1: have really good opportunities. Yeah, good matchup, like you said,
4:55
Speaker 1: and Michael Piman Jr. Is just a must start option
4:58
Speaker 1: right now. Four wide receivers this year have seven or
5:01
Speaker 1: more games with double digit targets.
5:02
Speaker 2: He is one of them. The other three are Tyreek Hill,
5:04
Speaker 2: Stefon Diggs, and Keenan Allen Elite Company. He gives you
5:08
Speaker 2: fourteen or more fantasy points in six straight must start
5:11
Speaker 2: option and then Josh Downs, I know, last week nine
5:13
Speaker 2: fantasy points. It's kind of like a floor game. Thirteen targets.
5:17
Speaker 2: It's too hard to ignore. He is consistently like Gardner Minshew.
5:21
Speaker 2: It just has tunnel vision. It's going to Michael Pittman
5:24
Speaker 2: Junior or to Josh Downs. And the Titans have allowed.
5:27
Speaker 2: They're in the top ten in yards allowed to receivers.
5:30
Speaker 2: So get the Colts in your lineup. Get the Colts
5:32
Speaker 2: in your lineup for sure.
5:34
Speaker 1: I also have some deep sleeper vibes with Gardner Minshew
5:37
Speaker 1: this week against the Titans, only because it's you know,
5:40
Speaker 1: two by two mcgeddon this week. Meanwhile, DeAndre Hopkins, he
5:44
Speaker 1: had that first big game with Will Levis. That's kind
5:47
Speaker 1: of been it since then. Yeah.
5:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, the first ever game with one hundred yards and
5:51
Speaker 2: three touchdowns in his career, and since then, he has
5:54
Speaker 2: not topped sixty five yards in a game. With Will Levis.
5:58
Speaker 2: In the last two weeks, he's averaging under twenty routes
6:01
Speaker 2: ran per game and has just five targets in each
6:04
Speaker 2: of those games. Starting him is like hoping for a
6:07
Speaker 2: long touchdown catch. The issue is in the last month,
6:11
Speaker 2: no team has allowed fewer yards to wide receivers than
6:13
Speaker 2: the Colts, and they struggle against the runs.
6:16
Speaker 1: So I think this could be.
6:17
Speaker 2: A game where the Titans try to get Derek Henry going.
6:20
Speaker 2: It's so boom or busts. But even with six teams
6:23
Speaker 2: on buy, if you have an option, I would try
6:24
Speaker 2: to get away from these.
6:25
Speaker 1: Such a low volume passing game there in Tennessee. I
6:29
Speaker 1: know you mentioned on Fantasy Live too, the lack of
6:32
Speaker 1: routes that he's running. It's just it's really hard to
6:35
Speaker 1: see any production coming from Nuke Hopkins. Amari Cooper has
6:38
Speaker 1: been a guy that we have trusted more often than not,
6:41
Speaker 1: regardless of the revolving door at quarterback. So he's got
6:44
Speaker 1: the elite Joe Flaccols. He's automatically a start this week. Right.
6:47
Speaker 2: As Rank pointed out on Fantasy Live, Joe Flackel has
6:50
Speaker 2: won a super Bowl, so he's done something before. Amari
6:54
Speaker 2: Cooper without Deshaun Watson this year under eight Fantasy points
6:57
Speaker 2: per game and has not scored a touchdown in any
7:00
Speaker 2: of those games either. Left early last week a little
7:03
Speaker 2: banged up. The Rams this season have allowed these second
7:06
Speaker 2: fewest touchdowns to wide receiver and they are in the
7:08
Speaker 2: bottom ten in yards allowed to out wide wide receivers.
7:11
Speaker 2: And then Joe Flacco his last three years combined fifty
7:14
Speaker 2: four percent completion percentage two receivers lined up out wide.
7:18
Speaker 2: And then, like you pointed out on Fantasy Live, Marcus,
7:20
Speaker 2: Joe Flacco is gushing about one Browns receiver. But it
7:23
Speaker 2: is not Amari Cooper.
7:24
Speaker 1: It's Elijah Moore. Week let's go, I had Elijah Moore
7:27
Speaker 1: as a sleeper. Then I heard this video of Joe
7:30
Speaker 1: Flacco talking about he's texting with Elijah Moore. So I'm like,
7:33
Speaker 1: maybe he's just a start. And then I'm gonna find
7:35
Speaker 1: out that they have coffee and bagels together. I'm like,
7:37
Speaker 1: he's wide receiver one this week. It's like, this is
7:39
Speaker 1: my Elijah Moore emotional scale. This is where I am
7:42
Speaker 1: right now in week thirteen. Where we are here in
7:44
Speaker 1: the show, though, we're gonna take a quick break, come back,
7:46
Speaker 1: talk about some running backs and tight ends. Stick around.
7:49
Speaker 1: We're just getting started here on the Stardom Sidum Show.
7:57
Speaker 1: Start sitting running backs for week thirteen.
7:59
Speaker 2: Go Rashad White, Naji Harris, and Jalen Warren both in play.
8:03
Speaker 2: I think Devin Singletary is a strong start. That missing
8:06
Speaker 2: spot there that was Tony Pollard who did score a
8:09
Speaker 2: touchdown on TNF. And then my SI's going to talk
8:12
Speaker 2: about Joe Mixon and Javonte Williams. I also would try
8:15
Speaker 2: to get away from AJ Dillon in a tough matchup.
8:18
Speaker 2: And Chuba Hubbard. I want to take a wait and
8:20
Speaker 2: see approach with him. I want him on my roster
8:22
Speaker 2: in case he gets a bump with a new play caller.
8:24
Speaker 2: But in a tough matchup, if I have another option,
8:27
Speaker 2: I'll take the wait and see approach.
8:29
Speaker 1: And not really fire. I'm about starting Chewba Hubbard, but
8:32
Speaker 1: he does look like he's completed the takeover in the
8:34
Speaker 1: Carolina backfield. Joe Mixon going against the Jaguars on Monday
8:39
Speaker 1: Night Football, look the offense in Cincinnati obviously takes a
8:43
Speaker 1: big hit with Joe Burrow. You're out on Joe Mixon
8:47
Speaker 1: this week?
8:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, And depending on your options, Like in one league
8:51
Speaker 2: of mine, I'm going to flex Jayden Reid over Joe Mixon.
8:54
Speaker 2: But if you have an option that you don't feel
8:56
Speaker 2: great about, you can go with Joe Mixon. The issue
8:59
Speaker 2: is first game without Joe Burrow eight carries for sixteen yards,
9:02
Speaker 2: his fewest in a game since Week seven, twenty nineteen.
9:06
Speaker 2: One long catch and run salvaged his day, and I
9:08
Speaker 2: think if you're playing him, that's what you're hoping for
9:11
Speaker 2: this week because the Jaguars they allow the fewest rushing
9:14
Speaker 2: yards to running backs, just two rushing touchdowns all year
9:17
Speaker 2: and none since Week seven, But they do struggle against
9:20
Speaker 2: pass catching backs. So if you are using Joe Mixon,
9:23
Speaker 2: I think you're hoping for a bunch of dumb.
9:24
Speaker 1: Boff passes and that's sort of where I think his
9:27
Speaker 1: value is going to be. I can see it happening
9:29
Speaker 1: because so far, Jake Brown's not showing that he wants
9:31
Speaker 1: to push the ball downfield. Broncos Texans really interesting game
9:35
Speaker 1: with both these teams kind of hanging around in the
9:37
Speaker 1: conversation for a wild card spot in the playoffs. Javonte
9:40
Speaker 1: Williams for the most part has been pretty good, but
9:42
Speaker 1: you're worried about him this week.
9:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, the Texans. Remember last year when it was like
9:46
Speaker 2: you could start all your running backs against them, but
9:49
Speaker 2: they're stingy secondary. It's kind of been flipped on its
9:52
Speaker 2: head this year. The Texans are allowing a lot of
9:54
Speaker 2: production through the air, but have been super stingy on
9:58
Speaker 2: the ground. In fact, since Week eight, three point one
10:01
Speaker 2: yards per carry allowed to running backs. That is the
10:03
Speaker 2: lowest in the NFL. They are in the bottom eight
10:05
Speaker 2: on the year, and since that week a point in
10:08
Speaker 2: yards allowed to running backs. And then samaj p O
10:11
Speaker 2: Ryan isn't going away. He vultured a touchdown last week
10:14
Speaker 2: when Javonte Williams was a little banged up. We saw
10:16
Speaker 2: Russell Wilson vulture one and he's been running a whole
10:19
Speaker 2: lot more so Javonte again, another player with six teams
10:23
Speaker 2: on buy, maybe you can't pull him out of your lineup.
10:26
Speaker 2: But if you have another option that you've been considering
10:29
Speaker 2: going back and forth with between the two, I would
10:31
Speaker 2: get away from Javonte.
10:32
Speaker 1: Deafonte running the ball. Well, we'll see if he gets
10:34
Speaker 1: a number of targets. I think this game could be
10:36
Speaker 1: pretty high scoring, so some passing game work would be
10:39
Speaker 1: appreciated if he could get it. Turn our attention to
10:42
Speaker 1: the tight end position, which is constantly a moving target
10:46
Speaker 1: when it comes to fantasy football. But who do you
10:48
Speaker 1: like this week?
10:49
Speaker 2: Taysom Hill because the upside is still far too high
10:52
Speaker 2: to get away from. Evan Ingram is in play. Dalal Schultz,
10:55
Speaker 2: if he plays, is in play. I know it's looking
10:58
Speaker 2: like he might not. I think Jordan then becomes a
11:00
Speaker 2: sleeper tight end there for them, and Trey McBride has
11:03
Speaker 2: just been awesome. Logan Thomas is a sit for me
11:06
Speaker 2: unless you are desperate like I am in the league.
11:08
Speaker 2: This week, Gerald Everett against the Patriots, Tyler Higbee even
11:12
Speaker 2: coming off his two touchdown game, and then Tucker Kraft
11:15
Speaker 2: for me against the Chiefs is also a sit.
11:17
Speaker 1: All right, So let's take a look at some of
11:19
Speaker 1: these guys individually. Evan Ingram has just been steady. It
11:24
Speaker 1: hasn't been great, right, like your typical Evan Ingram line
11:27
Speaker 1: is like four catches for fifty two yards, right, and
11:30
Speaker 1: he unscored a touchdown since I don't know when it's
11:33
Speaker 1: been a while, but you do like him this week
11:35
Speaker 1: against the Bengals.
11:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, and for everything you said is completely true. He
11:39
Speaker 2: just is a safe floor option. Five or more targets
11:42
Speaker 2: and four plus catches in every game this year, seven
11:46
Speaker 2: plus targets in nine of eleven games, so that the
11:49
Speaker 2: floor we know is safe. But I think there could
11:51
Speaker 2: be more upside here is the Bengals have allowed the
11:53
Speaker 2: second most fantasy points to tight ends, the second most yards,
11:56
Speaker 2: and eventually, like the laws of average will tell that, eventually,
12:01
Speaker 2: Evan Ingram will.
12:02
Speaker 1: Catch another touchdown one day. The thing about it is
12:05
Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence seems to be aware of the touchdown drought,
12:07
Speaker 1: and it does seem like the Jaguars are trying to
12:10
Speaker 1: get him in the end zone. So we got that
12:12
Speaker 1: going for us. Trey McBride been great since he took
12:15
Speaker 1: over the starting role for zach Ertz. We know zach
12:17
Speaker 1: Ertz has asked for his release, so now it's full
12:20
Speaker 1: speed ahead for Trey McBride.
12:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, zach Ertz and the Cardinals brass saw three games
12:25
Speaker 2: or four games of Trey McBride and they were like, yay,
12:26
Speaker 2: your time in the desert. It's up. So Trey McBride
12:29
Speaker 2: has just been that good. He has taken over the
12:32
Speaker 2: starting gig in Week eight. He has topped nine fantasy
12:34
Speaker 2: points in every game but one. That one game came
12:36
Speaker 2: when Clayton Tone started against the Browns, So for me,
12:39
Speaker 2: I'm throwing that game out completely. Nine fantasy points is
12:43
Speaker 2: such a safe floor when we're talking about the tight
12:46
Speaker 2: end position. Adding the fact that in this span he
12:48
Speaker 2: is twice top twenty one, already high floor, high ceiling,
12:52
Speaker 2: in a good matchupgainst the Steelers who have struggled against
12:54
Speaker 2: tight ends the last five weeks, I think he is
12:58
Speaker 2: a mustard option this week and just the rest of
13:00
Speaker 2: the way moving forward.
13:01
Speaker 1: Somebody asked me, actually, would you go trade McBride or
13:03
Speaker 1: Pat Fryermuth. That's the same game. That was what I
13:07
Speaker 1: said too, But I also said it's a win win. Yeah,
13:09
Speaker 1: It's hard to have a wrong answer in that situation.
13:12
Speaker 1: Tucker Kraft, who looks like the Packers tight end of
13:15
Speaker 1: record for the foreseeable future with Luke Musgrave on injured reserve,
13:19
Speaker 1: I'm chiefs defense has been really good this week or
13:23
Speaker 1: this year, I should say, even for streaming options, Craft
13:26
Speaker 1: maybe not a best option yeah.
13:28
Speaker 2: I know everyone saw him score that touchdown on Thanksgiving
13:31
Speaker 2: and got excited. He did still finish that game though,
13:34
Speaker 2: with two catches for fifteen yards on two targets. I
13:38
Speaker 2: think there's upside here with Kraft. I get it. You
13:40
Speaker 2: could pick him up, put him on your roster. I
13:42
Speaker 2: would just keep him on your bench this week because
13:44
Speaker 2: the Chiefs have allowed the third fewest yards and just
13:47
Speaker 2: two touchdowns all year two tight ends.
13:50
Speaker 1: So even in a.
13:51
Speaker 2: Game where I think they'll have to throw the ball
13:52
Speaker 2: a lot, they have a lot of pass catching receivers
13:54
Speaker 2: and everything. So again I would be opting to take
13:57
Speaker 2: away and see approach and avoid this match.
14:00
Speaker 1: I think there's some other streaming tight end options out there. Look,
14:03
Speaker 1: Jawan Johnson's probably out there. Chico Konko another one if
14:07
Speaker 1: you're really hurting from one. I don't know if Tuckerkraft
14:09
Speaker 1: is the guy that I really want to roll with
14:10
Speaker 1: this week against Kansas City on Sunday Night. Football still
14:14
Speaker 1: to come. We are talking defense. I've been told to
14:16
Speaker 1: win championships. Lakwan Jones is going to join us to
14:19
Speaker 1: give you his top five for the week, plus take
14:21
Speaker 1: a little trip to Club dub time to welcome in research,
14:30
Speaker 1: your extraordinary and loutchhard connoisseur Lakwan Jones. We're calling this
14:35
Speaker 1: week two by two mcgeddon. It is affecting a lot
14:38
Speaker 1: of fantasy teams and you might be having to stream
14:40
Speaker 1: across positions baby at defense. So on that end, LQ,
14:44
Speaker 1: you got your top five defenses to stream this week.
14:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, look, you got six teams on buy
14:49
Speaker 3: like you said. And look, the Falcons have been a
14:51
Speaker 3: team I've been bouncing on and off my roster like
14:54
Speaker 3: all season long, Like you just play them based on matchup,
14:56
Speaker 3: and they got the Jets this week, so I really
14:58
Speaker 3: don't need to go into vivid D tell of like
15:01
Speaker 3: how bad there's oh line is, how bad the quarterback
15:03
Speaker 3: play is, and like I'm not expecting a bunch of
15:05
Speaker 3: points getting scored on them to begin with. But their
15:08
Speaker 3: top three red zone defense in the NFL right now,
15:10
Speaker 3: and we saw last week they were able to make
15:12
Speaker 3: the big plays and able to take one back to
15:15
Speaker 3: the house. Like I love how the Falcons defense is
15:17
Speaker 3: playing this year versus where it was last year.
15:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, look, they've been really good so far
15:22
Speaker 1: this year and Florida. Look we're talking about picking on
15:25
Speaker 1: the Jets. I would imagine that's going to be a
15:27
Speaker 1: consistent theme for the last five six weeks for the
15:29
Speaker 1: fantasy season.
15:30
Speaker 2: Until Aaron Rodgers comes back, of course next year. Basically, Yeah,
15:35
Speaker 2: the only surprise here for me is that they're number.
15:37
Speaker 1: Five, Like I am, so I'm waiting this. This list
15:41
Speaker 1: must get pretty spicy if the Falcons only gets to
15:43
Speaker 1: number five.
15:43
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I bring the heat, man, you know
15:45
Speaker 3: how I do, man. But number four though, number four, though,
15:47
Speaker 3: we're gonna play it safe. I think the Titans are
15:49
Speaker 3: a safe play this week going against the Colts because
15:51
Speaker 3: they're kind of like a low key, under the radar
15:53
Speaker 3: defense that don't allow a bunch of points. Like they
15:56
Speaker 3: got nine games with less than twenty five points scored
15:58
Speaker 3: on them. Like, this is just a safe play where
16:00
Speaker 3: your expectations should be between like seven to ten points.
16:04
Speaker 3: Because I've got six teams on buy. So if you
16:06
Speaker 3: want to play it safe, I think you go with
16:08
Speaker 3: this team because they're a top five red zone defense
16:10
Speaker 3: as well, and you know I have faith in them.
16:14
Speaker 1: Plus every now and then, Gardner Minshew likes to throw
16:16
Speaker 1: the ball to the wrong team. Yeah, sprinkling a little turnovers,
16:19
Speaker 1: several turnovers here and there. I would love them a
16:21
Speaker 1: whole lot more if they would go back to those
16:23
Speaker 1: Houston Oilers jerseys that they were earlier in the season
16:25
Speaker 1: because those were Flames. So wait, now you got the Titans,
16:29
Speaker 1: but you also have the team on the other side
16:30
Speaker 1: of that match.
16:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going cole to a number three man because
16:33
Speaker 3: this is going to be a heavy, heavily defensive battle game.
16:36
Speaker 3: But the Colts have been playing amazing football in the
16:38
Speaker 3: last couple of weeks. They've been pinning their ears back
16:41
Speaker 3: and getting to the quarterback. They have ten sacks in
16:43
Speaker 3: the last three games. And you got Will Levis back there.
16:46
Speaker 3: He's been sacked thirteen times since he's taken over to starter.
16:49
Speaker 3: So I believe in this defense to get the sacks,
16:51
Speaker 3: get the turnovers, and create some pressure and kind of
16:54
Speaker 3: make Will Lev's a little uncomfortable.
16:56
Speaker 1: It's Floria. You talked about Will Levis and DeAndre Hopkins
16:59
Speaker 1: as players to have. I would think that that makes
17:02
Speaker 1: you know, I don't know, are we targeting the Titans.
17:05
Speaker 1: I guess the way we're targeting the Jets.
17:07
Speaker 2: I would target the Jets more. But I think you
17:09
Speaker 2: definitely can tight target this Titans offense. Like Lakwan said,
17:13
Speaker 2: Levis is taking sacks. I think there's still always the
17:16
Speaker 2: possibility that he could turn the ball over here, Like uh,
17:19
Speaker 2: he just he's learning on the job as he goes.
17:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, which is sort of be expected for a rookie
17:25
Speaker 1: number two.
17:26
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, this went out to Florida. Yeah, this is nice, man.
17:29
Speaker 3: I like the bucks still highly available on the way
17:30
Speaker 3: We're wired for some reason because I picked them up
17:32
Speaker 3: in a couple leaks this week as well. But they're
17:34
Speaker 3: gonna pin their ears back and they're gonna get at
17:36
Speaker 3: the Bryce Young and that old line. So I'm sending
17:38
Speaker 3: thoughts and prayers already now because it's gonna be a
17:41
Speaker 3: massacer man. And they've also they have ten sacks in
17:44
Speaker 3: the last three games and the Panthers, oh line, they
17:46
Speaker 3: allowed ten sacks in the last three games. So it's
17:49
Speaker 3: like a perfect marriage here where they're just gonna pin
17:51
Speaker 3: their ears back and they're gonna get after them. So yeah,
17:53
Speaker 3: it's gonna be tough task for Bryce Young.
17:55
Speaker 1: I'm going bold right now. I'm telling you the Panthers
17:57
Speaker 1: are gonna win this game. Oh yeah, Caarlyin's gonna win
17:59
Speaker 1: this game. The linebackers are injured for for Tampa, Chris
18:04
Speaker 1: Godwin is a game time decision. And look the coaching shakeup.
18:08
Speaker 1: You got a lot of hurt feelings down there at Carolina.
18:10
Speaker 1: This just feels like a moment that hashtag keep Pounding
18:14
Speaker 1: becomes a reality and the Panthers go out there. I'm
18:17
Speaker 1: not gonna say shock the world. I mean, the Bucks
18:19
Speaker 1: are mediocre, but they're gonna go out there and get
18:20
Speaker 1: a win where people maybe don't expect.
18:22
Speaker 3: I might right with you, like ten to thirteen final score.
18:24
Speaker 2: All right, they have yet to the top fifteen in
18:26
Speaker 2: the game without Frank Reichklin.
18:28
Speaker 1: So all right, well here we go. All right, so
18:30
Speaker 1: number this one, this one might be this. This is
18:33
Speaker 1: like the hob and Naro. This is not even This
18:34
Speaker 1: is like a ghost Pepper level spicy, Like, what are
18:37
Speaker 1: we doing at number one?
18:38
Speaker 3: Listen, we're going Packers, man, I'm Ryan gopeg go man. Look,
18:41
Speaker 3: they've been playing completely night and day football the way
18:44
Speaker 3: they started the season versus when they are at now.
18:47
Speaker 3: Since Week five, they're allound twenty points per less than
18:50
Speaker 3: twenty points per game. This is a great defense to
18:53
Speaker 3: plug and play against. Mahomes, who's having like a career
18:55
Speaker 3: low in multiple categories. They're still trying to figure some
18:58
Speaker 3: things out with those pass cats, but the Packers are
19:01
Speaker 3: going to bring heavy pressure. There are top five defense
19:04
Speaker 3: when it comes to QB pressures. So you get Mahomes
19:06
Speaker 3: out of the pockety knock him off his game. He's
19:08
Speaker 3: doing terrible right now when it comes to pressure. Four touchdowns,
19:11
Speaker 3: five interceptions. So when you create the pressure, you get
19:14
Speaker 3: the turnovers and turnovers to bring fantasy points.
19:17
Speaker 1: Man, never thought i'd see the day we are targeting
19:20
Speaker 1: a Patrick Mahomes offense. I feel like I'm in the
19:23
Speaker 1: upside down right now. Let's do it.
19:24
Speaker 2: Lakwambrat well thought out stats and logic and all of that.
19:29
Speaker 2: I'm just letting you know if Patrick Mahomes is a
19:31
Speaker 2: good game LP you mentioned.
19:33
Speaker 1: I'm just like, I mean, seriously, no, he's right. You
19:35
Speaker 1: got all this logic and like all these metrics and everything.
19:38
Speaker 1: And my response to you is, Patrick.
19:40
Speaker 3: Mahomes, you can't better get you. Look, you can't bet
19:42
Speaker 3: against Mahomes. But listen, we saw what the Packers did
19:44
Speaker 3: to Jared Golf. Thanks given, and Jared Golf is playing
19:47
Speaker 3: great football before that game, you know at the turnovers,
19:49
Speaker 3: but it was very able to get the pressure on him.
19:52
Speaker 3: And that's how you beat Jared golf is you get
19:53
Speaker 3: the pressure and I thing now you get Mahomes not
19:56
Speaker 3: having the best pass catchers.
19:57
Speaker 1: I hear all of the words you're saying, Jared GoF Off,
20:01
Speaker 1: Patrick muh Look at the numbers. Look at the numbers
20:05
Speaker 1: this season. I hear I literally all of the words.
20:07
Speaker 1: They are all sinking in Jared Goff, Patrick Maholmes. I
20:12
Speaker 1: love Patrick Maholves were used to him piling up fantasy points,
20:15
Speaker 1: maybe not so much this year, but that gets us too.
20:19
Speaker 1: Here's the guys. We guarantee you will score you at
20:21
Speaker 1: least twenty five fantasy points this week. Who do you like?
20:24
Speaker 3: OLQ listen. I like Nigie Harris Man. It might seem
20:26
Speaker 3: like I'm going against the grain here because he's got
20:28
Speaker 3: Jalen Warren, but in the last three of his four games,
20:31
Speaker 3: he's had fifteen plus fantasy points. He's going up against
20:34
Speaker 3: this Cardinals Steve Fense, who are allowing the second most
20:36
Speaker 3: fantasy points per game two running backs. And I know
20:38
Speaker 3: we all watched my Rams last week stomping them, put them,
20:41
Speaker 3: hoole them, and walk them dry. So Kyral Williams out
20:45
Speaker 3: there breaking history and breaking records, and even Royce Freeman
20:48
Speaker 3: finding fantasy relevances as well. So even with this split
20:51
Speaker 3: with Jalen Warren and Najie Harris, I'm still leaning Naji
20:54
Speaker 3: just based on his red zone percent sixty two percent,
20:57
Speaker 3: the high red zone opportunity here from there. So I'm
21:00
Speaker 3: gonna ride with Naji to have this blow up game
21:02
Speaker 3: We've all been waiting for it.
21:03
Speaker 1: I think both guys do well, but I'm with you.
21:05
Speaker 1: I'm leaning more to this being a nause game, but
21:08
Speaker 1: I think both guys have pretty good games against Arizona.
21:11
Speaker 1: You're finally on the Rashad White trade. Welcome, Welcome.
21:14
Speaker 2: I've picked him up. He was dropped in our Fantasy
21:17
Speaker 2: Live league and then I picked him up and it
21:19
Speaker 2: has just helped my team a sin because he has
21:21
Speaker 2: been red hot. I was off of him coming into
21:24
Speaker 2: this year, and for the first six weeks he was
21:27
Speaker 2: a sit basically every week in the starting Sitdham and
21:29
Speaker 2: that's been that was the right call. I've changed my
21:32
Speaker 2: tune as of late and have been enjoying this hot
21:34
Speaker 2: streak that he has been on last week one hundred
21:37
Speaker 2: and ten yards and it was his worst Fantasy game
21:40
Speaker 2: in like six weeks. But also this is all about
21:42
Speaker 2: the matchup too. The Panthers have allowed the most touchdowns
21:45
Speaker 2: to running backs to the top three in fantasy points.
21:47
Speaker 2: They gave up a bunch of yards, and I think
21:50
Speaker 2: the Bucks are gonna win this game, so I think
21:52
Speaker 2: they'll be playing with the lead, which means probably a
21:54
Speaker 2: lot of Rashad White in the second half.
21:56
Speaker 1: I do think Rashad White has a really nice game
21:58
Speaker 1: against the Panthers. Even though I think, like I said,
22:00
Speaker 1: Caroline is gonna win that game, rare Sean White can
22:02
Speaker 1: still eat.
22:02
Speaker 2: If the Panthers win. Please please give him all the credit.
22:05
Speaker 1: Yeah please, Yeah, I would gladly take you. And if
22:07
Speaker 1: they don't win and be like, well the Panthers, I
22:13
Speaker 1: say I planned this, but I absolutely did not. For me,
22:16
Speaker 1: My my pile up guy is gonna be Jalen Wattle
22:19
Speaker 1: going against the Washington commanders. Look, it was easy to
22:23
Speaker 1: say Tyreek Hill, right, but I was already dealing with
22:25
Speaker 1: dry mouth and didn't want to eat any more chalk
22:28
Speaker 1: going against that commander's secondary in a really good spot
22:31
Speaker 1: I'm expecting Miami to put up a ton of points
22:33
Speaker 1: against right now, what might be the worst defense in
22:36
Speaker 1: the NFL. So two is going to eat. We know
22:39
Speaker 1: Tyreek Hill is going to do his thing, but I
22:40
Speaker 1: think Jalen Wattle is in line for a big game
22:43
Speaker 1: as well, because just when you figure Washington's like, we're
22:45
Speaker 1: gonna give all this attention to Tyreek, then two is
22:47
Speaker 1: gonna go to his other wide receiver and get him
22:48
Speaker 1: a whole lot of points there too. So if you're
22:51
Speaker 1: looking for a big Jalen Wattle game, I think this
22:53
Speaker 1: is a big Jalen Wattle game. I like it. Yeah,
22:56
Speaker 1: there it is.
22:57
Speaker 3: I think the Commander's gonna pull the Seahawks and win
22:58
Speaker 3: this game.
22:59
Speaker 1: Now, well.
23:01
Speaker 3: Win this game.
23:02
Speaker 1: That would be interesting. All I know is that win
23:04
Speaker 1: or lose. I'm looking for the looking forward to the
23:07
Speaker 1: magic Johnson tweet after the game, whatever he has to
23:10
Speaker 1: say about the Commanders, Irvin, we love you, but you
23:12
Speaker 1: are the perd Happily of sports Twitter.
23:13
Speaker 2: It's gonna be like, well, they had more yards and
23:16
Speaker 2: scored more points and that's why they won the game.
23:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, really is you are? He is the
23:20
Speaker 1: purd Happily of sports Twitter waiting on that we did
23:22
Speaker 1: not play well and so we lost. Thanks match, all right, anyway,
23:27
Speaker 1: that's pretty much a good spot for us to take
23:30
Speaker 1: a pause and get out of here. That's gonna do
23:31
Speaker 1: it for us for Lakwan Jones From Michael F. Flooryo.
23:34
Speaker 1: I'm Marcus Grant. We appreciate you hanging out with the
23:36
Speaker 1: Stardum Situm Show. Enjoy Week thirteen. Hopefully you survived by apocalypse.
23:40
Speaker 1: We'll talk to you again next week. Scholas
